Debu Neanderthals!!!

Also known as the Simmons.

So! These guys are based off of DJMM's beta design! The teeth are stained just like in Debu but instead, they're stained with tannins, which is the same stuff that gorilla teeth are often stained with in the wild that makes their teeth black! Because of that, and the way it chips, I was able to make them kind of resemble the green soundwaves on his old mouth. They also have black scleras and more prominent iris colors, which I hoped would resemble the look of his swirly eyes? Their evolutionary reason is so that it's easier to follow gazes the same way we have white scleras, except they went the different direction and had the irises to be really bright and prominent so they stand out as much as Sans's eye. Debu kind of technically went the same way we do, it's just less... constant?

Onto the general, non-djmm-related traits: They don't live in the same place as the Debu, they're in a more tropical environment where sunlight isn't so damn harsh and is also a lot wetter - their skin lighter and smoother than Debu for those two reasons respectively. They're smaller, even though there's more food, but there's less space since there's also a bunch of trees, and for that reason they're actually a lot more vertical than the very wide debu, since they don't really climb. These "neanderthals" also have a less flat face unlike the Debu who look like their faces got smashed in with a frying pan, they still have a little bit of their basal snouts, and they also have a lot more hair than Debu, they still have their fur - just as a long mane though. Finally, they don't have as much mouth-glow - they still do have some! their very red mouths are due to the weak, red bioluminescence that they do have. Their environment is darker than usual just due to the sheer density that the land coral canopies have, so the bioluminescence is still kinda useful, but the darkness doesn't compare to the complete darkness that Debu live in, in their cliffside caves.

Also; they're sapient! So hooray on them. So now there's 2 Debu and 2 Zebrapeople (i'm not counting the quaggaelves... that one's sapience is kinda sus)

There's a secret third "debu," it's not a member of their genus like this guy is, but it's more like member of their family that I wanna talk about but I need to set a specific, spooky stage for them

The Umbrella Academy (S4)

ummmmm i’m sorry, what the ever loving FUCK did i just have the displeasure of watching?

spoilers btw, this is gonna be very raw and off the chest

i don’t know what to say, this was disappointment after disappointment. i don’t want to dog pile automatically though, so I’ll list out the very few things i liked about this season before i descend into madness:

The first two episodes. well paced and entertaining. although this could easily go on the bad list, cause they gave me false hope for this season.

nick offerman and megan mullally. ALWAYS a treat to see them on my screen.

Klaus’s relationship between Allison and Claire. very sweet.

a couple songs on the soundtrack

the fact that this season was short

i’m not joking that’s literally it. this was sooooo bad, i’m actually shocked.

let’s address the elephant in the room.

the character assassination of five needs to be studied

what the hell happened?! What happened to the guy that genuinely cared about his family? he didn’t abandon his family after FORTY some years in the future, and a jaunt to the past, but all of a sudden, he was ready to give up just like that??

his character this season was unfocused and lame. he looked bored half the time and unconcerned the other half. LUTHER felt more connected to this story than this mf did. remember when he murdered a room full of people? remembered when he kinda comforted klaus, or helped diego out, or had a heart to heart with viktor? this seasons five is like night and day from the old one.

and him and LILA?! barf

BARF. TOMATO TOMATO WHO ASKED FOR THIS?

i refuse to watch this sixty year old man in the body of a literal teenager poorly masquerading as a man get together with the wife of his brother, i won’t do it. the boy looks 18, come on are you fucking serious?!

oh but that’s not my only issue i ASSURE YOU

this season was a half baked, rush job to line netflix’s pockets.

and it could have been sooo good.

what do you mean, no one knows how ben died??

what do you mean the timelines are merging in on each other and people are noticing??

they completely dropped the ball off the face of the planet. this felt like a 10 page paper that was written in an hour. there’s soooo many plot holes, there’s no antagonist, nothing felt like it had meaning. nothing really mattered.

and speaking of not mattering, you know what completely breaks my heart? Ben.

i want someone to look me dead in my eyes and tell me that man was actually a legitimate character and not a plot device. ive never seen a character done so dirty in EVERY SINGLE SEASON ARE YOU JOKING? they never let his character breath. the only tear i shed this season was when he looked at viktor and cried, saying he was scared. that’s when i realized that the writers really don’t give a shit about him… they don’t care about his character arc, HE NEVER EVEN HAD ONE. it felt weird and disgusting.

i’m not gonna talk abt the end.

i’m done, i can’t do this anymore. i feel deceived. i feel like i wasted my time watching this series. the people behind the show clearly didn’t care about it, so why should I?

5. the hospital having a gala/cocktail mixer/wedding/etc every 3-5 business days and none of the core group having to work ever 🤔🧐 also naveen missing a ton of these functions

6. mc randomly pulling out a gown with a CAPE out of her suitcase in book 1 ch 10

7. ethan beating declans king high flush with four of a kind kings ?????? the chances of this happening in poker are slim to none it's like catching lightning in a barrel twice

8. im not american so i really cant speak with certainty about this but book 2 plot of edenbrook being shut down ? i looked it up and hospitals closing in the states seems to be a rural issue/issue related to covid in which neither applies to edenbrook but considering it was the "crown jewel of massachusetts healthcare" would it really fully close down ???

I always have this thought that has been poking me ,After day after i tried coming out to my mom and i'll just rant it over here

(please, this is only my options about what she said about me since that day, don't judge me please༎ຶ‿༎ຶ)

1. they should expect that their child will tell them after realizing this stuff either their gay, lesbian, bisexual... But if their straight then their straight. Cause, yes they are born as female/male but that doesn't mean they'll like other gender they can like same male like them or same female like them.

2. (Idk if this is counted but my mom always say this since i was littel until now.) You shouldn't say "i want to kill myself." "What will happen to you if i die, huh? You'll end up in a pile of trash." Because it hurts.

3. Don't say it's a pity for those people who like the same gender as they are because they won't be able to produce a child. Having a child doesn't mean that's family. You can have a dog as your child or a cat or a mf elephant they can be your child you can have a family with or without even a husband.

4. Don't tell me to visit a psychiatrist because i told you i like girls, what should the psychiatrist tell me? What could the doctor do to me to make me like boys? And beside i already told you i like BOYS AND GIRLS but you won't even listen and keep telling me i need a psychiatrist.

5. How does our blood line related for me liking girls? How? HOW?
