#this isnt even getting into basing morality on the law

just saw someone tag one of my posts about how abusive people need to be allowed to change, even if you never forgive them, with something like "it's hard to differentiate between abusive and ultimately human, and downright criminal."
and, i mean this in the nicest way possible, it's hard to differentiate that because there is no difference.
criminals are human. it does no good to pretend they aren't. the ones you're probably talking about, the rapists and serial killers, have certainly done heinous things, and we need to address that, but crucially, they are still people. human beings who made awful, unconscionable choices, that you or anyone around you *could also choose to make*. to declare otherwise is to shield perpetrators that haven't been found out yet.
and i do believe that in an ideal world, people who have done heinous things would have the opportunity to build a new life where they can make society better instead of worse. (that's a bit pie-in-the-sky, but we can still strive to be closer to that than we currently are, even if we know it's ultimately impossible to actually reach it)
#politics /#this isnt even getting into basing morality on the law#which isnt really a great idea to begin with#because 'criminal' also means 'guy who smoked pot when he was 15'#and is the reason cops are allowed to kill whoever they want. because they're 'suspected criminals'

Okay, so I was thinking of coming up with a "Fulbright is alive" AU of my own, and I ended up rambling about my ideas to a friend, so y'all get an edited down/tidied up version
Allow me to introduce to you.... the Investigator Fulbright AU! Yes, it is inspired by the lies of the phantom! As much as I love the Fulbright we meet in game before the reveal, I wanted to try out something different. I'm honestly surprised this isn't a thing yet (as far as I've seen) >>
Ramble under cut!
So, let me explain the timeline
During the ~dark age of the law~, Fulbright became disillusioned from the justice system. Justice is his main motivation - he wants to make the world become a better place, to help people. When the system shifted to actively work against that, with all the false arrests, evidence, convictions? I don't think Fulbright could take the injustice. He, as an enforcer of the system, would actively be complacent to all those things. So he resigned.
For a while, he shifts between jobs, none fulfilling his need for justice and field work. I think one day, he gets roped into a private investigation, which, when solved gives him the same rush he felt when he was a detective. He opens his own obscure investigation business. He didn't expect it to do as well as it did - the ~dark age of the law~ made common folk distrustful of the system, so if a person went missing or if someone needed closure from a case that was handled poorly in the courts, they came to him. He even got lucky enough to be able to pick his clients carefully, to weigh the morality of what he's doing - he'd rather skip a case and eat cheap food for a while than contribute to the already awful system.
Actually, being an investigator was almost better, in some cases, for Fulbright. The lack of regulation and restrictions allowed him to come to conclusions not solely based on evidence, but on other things as well, things that wouldn't be admissable in court (such as emotions, subtle nervous tics, etc). He spends a couple years like this, his business being decently successful.
One day, however, he gets this recurring client. Always anonymous, very careful about any information they share. Fulbright is cautious, of course. The client needed information on various people's schedules, habits, etc. It seemed decently innocuous though - none of the people he tailed faced any harm.
Yes, you guessed it! The client is the phantom. I mean, I can't make an AU and not include him, y'know? So yeah, the phantom is careful to pay in Fulbright's regular rates to avoid alarming the investigator. He hires Fulbright for a couple different reasons: having a different perspective on the people he's going to impersonate is very useful, it saves him a lot of time and effort, and it gives him more information on Fulbright - The person that is essential for his plan to get his psych profile back.
We know that the phantom was being taunted by Blackquill, and like... I don't think the phantom takes on long impersonation missions often. It's kinda a waste of resources imo, especially if he's doing it unemployed. So unless we reason that he was finding information from the police while impersonating Fulbright, I think it's more fun if we force him to collaborate with Fulbright! And that's precisely what I intend for this AU.
The phantom comes up with a plan to have Fulbright collaborate with him. I enjoy the headcanon that Fulbright doesn't have family around or like. super close friends, so hostages don't work. He isnt the type to give into money either. So, whats left? I might think of something different later, but for now, I'm thinking that the phantom could simply impersonate Fulbright while committing a crime. Get some evidence of it, and boom, blackmail!
Anyway, Fulbright is forced to join the force again. As an Investigator, he learned to manage his emotions better, but in the force, he tries to portray himself as though he hasn't changed much. He's a bit clumsy on cases now too, having become rusty with all the protocols and evidence based arrests.
He isn't entirely upset about the arrangement, despite the fact that its completely unjust. its nice being on the force again, being a detective again. He did miss it at times, since being a private investigator wasn't exactly lawful at times.
Moving along, when it's announced that Blackquill is going to be a prosecutor again and needs a trusted detective handler, Fulbright jumps at the opportunity. Of course, it's mostly because he has to, but having had some time to research Blackquill, the old UR-1 incident felt off. From the time as an investigator, he knew to trust his gut, even if he didn't have the evidence to prove anything.
He gets the job because 1) most people are scared of ~the twisted samurai~ and 2) because Fulbright has experience as a private investigator, aka, people trust him enough to come to him. Being trustworthy and dependable are very important qualities when handling a criminal, no?
Anyway, from here it could branch off in a couple different ways depending on your preferences (Blackquill and Fulbright's relationship wise.), so I'm not gonna ramble about that here.
Going timeline wise and ignoring all that for now, i think fulbright tries to find out more about the phantom. I mean, although he's being blackmailed, he's still aiding a criminal. No way would Fulbright take kindly to that.
I do think that most of what Fulbright is forced to do isn't a crime though. I think the phantom would be clever enough to not push him to his breaking point. Also, the phantom is a paranoid fuck and would not leave any important tasks to someone else. He'd rather just impersonate Fulbright for the few times he needs to.
Anyway, in the final cases, I think that the phantom would take over for the investigation parts, but wouldn't be the one to testify in turnabout for tomorrow, simply because he wouldn't risk his life like that. Everything turns out pretty similar with the phantom being revealed, the truth coming out about UR-1.
I think it'd be fun if Fulbright got shot anyway though, because the phantom got shot at the chance of him yapping about the organisations he works for. Well, Fulbright has evidence of the phantom existing, which is pretty threatening too.
But I also just want him to get shot so so bad HAHA
Anyway, yeah! That's what I have regarding the outline of this AU. I have some daydreams etc in my brain as well, but nothing concrete enough to express for now. I hope my silly little ramble was fun to read :)

obviously assisted suicide is bad when its for disabled people when their disability isnt killing them, but how do you feel about it for degenerative/terminal illnesses that slowly and painfully kill you? like for example i dont want to live with alzheimers bc it seems like a fate worse than death, but i dont want assisted suicide bc of my multiple physical disabilities
We have hospice.
And even if it is morally okay to have a system of assisted suicide for the terminally ill (which I do not believe)-
The reality is that every system ever put in place has been a way to slaughter disabled people, the only difference between them is to what degree it happens.
First off, being terminally ill is a lot broader than people think. Medically and legally a lot of people are terminally ill or could easily become so. Diabetic people could become terminally ill without treatment, no matter how healthy they are with it.
If you can live a mostly healthy life with treatment but without it, you are terminally ill, then it's easier to kill you than to help you. Disabled people are already seen as disposable.
This is even more true if you could live an unhealthy/disabled life even with treatment but are terminally ill without it. As you are even more vulnerable to this system.
If you want treatment to extend your life and to be cared for in your final days, but you can't afford it, then it is easier to kill you.
And people have this pushed on them. They are told, even in places where it is illegal for a medical professional to suggest it: that it would be better if they killed themselves. The people who are supposed to love them may treat them like burdens and may tell them to kill themselves. And their insurance may not cover treatment, but it will let a doctor kill them.
That's not kindness or autonomy. And this is how every place that has assisted suicide that I could research works.
Most terminally ill people want to die because they are now or are becoming more disabled. Killing them is not dignity or mercy, it is eugenics.
And that's before you get to expansions where the law allows it for people who are disabled but don't in any way qualify as terminally ill.
But again, if you think it's moral to systematize the suicide of some of the most vulnerable disabled people by telling them that their fears of disability are rational and they would be in fact better if they were dead but you totally are not ableist and support disabled people on the whole- That is not how this practice works out in reality.
And that reality is more important than what you or I think is hypothetically moral.
The system in place does not help the terminally ill or disabled people in general. The only arguments for it are based on lack of information, misinformation, and ableism.
I am guessing that most of this is new information for you, so do more research. I would recommend Not Dead Yet as a start. And to look into other disability-lead organizations that are against assisted suicide, of which there are many. They exist internationally and if you are in the US, then there may be one in your state.
Assisted suicide is not autonomy, it is eugenics. It only leads disabled people to slaughter.

yo hi your shawn spencer having aspd take is awesome, been looking for a 'popular' character that displays aspd better than dexter. if you ever wanna give more elaboration / possibly infodumping i will be in the audience standing and clapping
u sly dog u got my monolouging.... AIGHT HERE GOES!!
so i forgottt if i said so in the og post but i think henry ALSO has aspd and thats where shawn got it from, but to elaborate: i think that's why henry became a cop
FIRST OFF: wrt cops, i am operating on TV SHOW LOGIC, not real life logic. tv show cops and irl cops are VASTLY different in the kinds of morals each set has. rl cops are deeply unethical but in the world henry spencer inhabits, this is largely not the case. since he's In There and not Out Here, i go with the show's portrayal of cops and their morals and values, instead of real life's. everything i say about cops from here on is about the show's cops, aight? aight lets go
SO the thing about having aspd and knowing on some level that you have it and somethings Different about you is that at some point you HAVE to learn How To Live In A Society Without Immidiatley Getting Ostracized. a common tactic for this is to somehow aquire a set of morals and then just Do That. it's what i personally did, and a lot of those morals came feom whatever community i was in. i liked being here, they had some set of morals, and i just adopted those and treated it as truth. over the years this process has become a lot more refined but generally my morals align with the community i find myself in- namely, queer leftists. so a LOT of my moral beliefs come with interacting with queer leftists at length (because, since i was queer, and thus interacted w a lot of leftists) and going "yeah, that makes sense, this is now a moral standard for me"
so tldnr you need to find a community with some moral tenants that you generally agree with and also like, which sounds like a no brainer but its like. a bit different yk? for me PERSONALLY there really isnt much of an internal set of checks and balances that make me agree w my morals under all costs and i can like. turn it off if i need to
but back to the spencers: being a cop is really good for this. the moral set is easy- you're a cop. you care a lot about The Law. ergo your morals are just... the laws are good and breaking tbem is bad. short and simple and to the point
additionally, being a cop means you get to engage in risk taking behavior and get PAID for it! people dont think youre a crazy reckless thrill seeker, they think you're a HERO! and who needs remorse when you're dealing with criminals? you dont NEED to feel bad about power tripping or intimidating them, its totally fine. its fine. its fine
also relationship issues- henry's divorced, that's not uncommon for pwaspd in relationships. sometimes its poorly managed and/or they wont change and even if theyre stable enough not to be dangerous or abusive, it could be an unpleasant experience for a lot of different reasons- arguments being a massive problem when they happen (the remorse thing- good luck actually getting an apology outta them), worry over the risky behavior being met with flippiance, general lack of emotional vunerability. stuff like that
all this btw is based off my real relationship struggles between me and my fiance who does NOT have aspd (we r like... total opposites its so funny. top 10 funniest matchups of all time)
back to shawn. he is a lot like his father in many ways but the main reason i thought he had aspd is just... he treats EVERYTHING with flippiance and sarcasm. even when hes locking in and being serious, there's still an underlying feeling that he's Just Having Fun With This, no matter the situation. which, this isnt like an official criterion or whatever, but like... i know a LOT of guys with aspd. most of them talk like this. there's always a sense of emotional detachment from most things, because there is one, because they have aspd. i jokingly call this the "sociopath lilt" because theres also that sort of, up-and-down inflection (that shawn has!) that comes with it. its so funny it just makes other pwaspd instantly clockable to me. get thin sliced loser
but once i started thinking about it, more things add up... he's CALLED OUT on his risk taking behavior and flippiance towards serious subject matter IN THE SHOW! he's had a ton of jobs and while i can't prove why he kept leaving them, aspd and having a job... don't mix well. i keep getting fired because i keep beefing w my manager, and i can see the same thing happening to shawn, or maybe he broke a rule one too many times, or got caught in a restricted area, or broke something thru carelessness
and it IS played for comedy but he very often tends to not respect the wishes and autonomy of the people he interacts with, ESPECIALLY gus. he cares naught for anything gus has going on with his job and wether or not he'll get in trouble if he leaves early or does whatever scheme shawn cooked up, and generally sort of treats him not very kindly a lot- which isnt to say their friendship is BAD, its just a pattern of behavior yk?
thats all i can think of off the top of my head rn, but yeah imo shawn is a very realistic take on a guy with aspd whos just like. a regular guy with a mental illness thats to some degree managed, some degree not. very "adhd kid went thru some shit and developed aspd" coded (theres a link; if you abuse a kid with adhd theres a HUGE chance theyll develop conduct disorder and later aspd) (also i guess "some shit" for shawn was the divorce and also being raised by a guy with aspd and being influenced by how he thought a lot)
he's not like, dangerous or abusive or anything, he just has his quirks that can cause problems for him or give the people close to him grief, but its kind of like... an affectionate sort of grief, yk?he just reminds me of myself in a lot of ways. and i like that even in a hc theres SOME character out there that isnt like, a serial killer. imagine having a mental illness and all the characters with it are evil. like yeah theyre cool characters but can i have SOMETHING else for once PLEASE
also lassie has npd send tweet
#shawn spencer#henry spencer#psych the show#thank u for the ask i hope u like!! ✌🏼#also quick shassie i think if shawn tries to tell lassie he has aspd hed do it in the form of hangman on a bar napkin. send tweet

As someone who’s followed you for a long time, and a fellow writer….do you genuinely support chatGPT? Even if it has been proven to scrape people’s writings without their consent? And the fact that its a soulless husk of what actual writing is?
So Ive done my best to avoid AI discourse, but I am bad at it. So to put it clearly.
I dont Support chatgpt specifically. Its a program made by a corporation because they can make a profit from it, and curtail its capabilities in line with their goals. I use it sometimes because its fun ans convenient, but I dont pay for it or anything. I think pretty much all legitimate concerns about AI are really just concerns about corporate ethics, at which point the AI specifically becomes irrelevant
I also dont really think the situation in general is one where "support" is the right word to use; its like asking if I support cameras.
I want to be clear im not trying to be vague though; i think in general AI is pretty cool, and that 99% of the arguments against it are factually incorrect, based on inconsistent or bad moral frameworks, or both. Im not going to get into all the reasons AIs are cool, since I dont feel up to doing a Big AI Post, but I do want to gesture vahuely in the direction of how much more accessible this makes artistic creation and experimentation, and all the insanely fun things people can use AI for. However, i do want to address the common arguments against it, especially since it feels like a lot of people are just misinformed and falling into the very easy tumblr trap.
1. Scraping fics without consent: if you post something on a public site for the public to read, and someone downloads it to read it, its not stealing. Tumblr is generally pretty firmly against strict copywrite laws, so its a bit weird that so many people are Very concerned about AIs "stealing" their work in a way thats even less direct than fanfiction. Like, "your writing is so in character" and "wow youre really good at imitating the authors writing style" are common compliments on fics.
To be clear, there are absolutely ways of interacting with free public content thats bad (like reposting). But AIs arent frankensteining stuff together, or copy pasting anything; they literally could not do that. The training/model files are so insanely tiny compared to the amount of training data that it would be impossible for them to be storing that sort of thing. An AI learning from your writing isnt really any different than a human reading your writing, going "oh I like that" subconsciously, and using that to inform their future writing.
Whats that quote about "to get better at writing, read more"? If you believe that statememt is accurate, then Im a bit confused how youd be upset about an AI "reading" your writing and learning from it?
All of the Actual ways this could be used badly (copying someones art style and then selling art cheaper, etc.) arent actually unique to AI (a person can also do that!), and also usually arent really a thing thats happening enough to be a problem (most people who want art from an artist enough to commission them, are going to want it to actually be done By that artist). Using AI to make an original work, or even to finish a fanfic someone else wrote, is no more theft than if you did it by yourself.
2. "Soulless Husk": im sorry im genuinely trying my best here to be gentle and respectful, but this talking point genuinely makes my blood boil a bit, so im not trying to get personal or insult anyone specifically. Claiming that art made by humans is automatically deeper, that art is all about Meaning and Struggle, comes off as extremely pretentious and just doesnt engage with the reality of art. Im having trouble articulating a good argument here, but like. Art doesnt have to be deep, it doesnt have to have a Message, and the necessity of struggling in order to learn about and create art is an unequivocable bad thing.
Many many people make art (visual, written, etc.) becuase they want to see or read something cool or because they think others will find it fun. Many many people who would like to create art do not do so because it requires talent/practice that they are not willing to put the time and effort into developing, and this is not a moral issue. As Ive said before, laziness is a virtue and self-indulgance is a goal we should aspire to. Using a tool to make the incredibly fun act of creating easier and more accessible is awesome.
Also, who gets to define what "actual art" is? Genuinely seems a bit arrogant and presumptuous to declare that something is or is not "actual art" based on your own preferences.
The posts that Really annoy me are the ones that are like "cant understand the people RPing or playing a TTRPG with AI becuz its soulless. I only ever RP with other people because the fun part is being social or collaberatively building story" or whatever. Cool. I rp and play tabletops because i like to have fun and I enjoy those activities. Im gonna be honest, i find it a bit offensive and kinda.. dumb, to act like its somehow morally superior to only enjoy oneself in a way that Builds Community or Has A Meaning. People do meaningless things because they enjoy doing them and so long as no one is being hurt, thats fine.
3. Replacing workers: This is the only argument that has Any weight, but its still a bad argument. Its absolutrly true that AI is gonna put people out of work. The fact that more people will be out of work and struggling is a bad thing. This is also what happens when literally any new technology is developed, dating all the way back to the industrial revolution (at the Very latest). Automation is almost always a massive net benefit to humanity (im aware this topic could be its own series of posts but You Know What I Mean, please dont start industrialization discourse here), and the fact that it puts people out of work isnt actually an argument against it. Lots of radio operators lost their job when telephones were invented, but that doesnt mean people should have never used the telephone and obstinately stuck with radios. When phone technology advanced, a lot of phone operators lost their jobs, but that doesnt mean people were Morally Wrong to use the new developments that made phones far more convenient.
As in all things, el problema es capitalismo; AI isnt preventing anyone from doing art, its just reducing how many people can get paid to do their art. The correct solution to automation putting people out of work is not to stop the wheel of tech development, but to change society so that one doesnt have to slave away in order to survive.
This also raises the adjacent point, which is that halting tech development like this is impossible. Once the cat is out of the bag, its not going back in. AI tech is going to develop and become more widespread and theres literally nothing you can do to stop that. If you want to be upset about that, its your perogative ig, but im gonna be excitedly waiting for the dam to break and we get an open source LLM that I can use without worrying about data privacy or corporate filters, so I can have fun and RP however much I want and finally be able to write the stuff I want to write but cant do on my own because I have adhd and chronic fatigue, and Id kinda prefer if people stopped trying to rain on my parade because they think im not having fun or creating art in the "right way".
EDIT: I did want to add one more thing! A US court ruled that you cant copywrite something created completely by an AI, and i think thats an awesome move and I hope it gets expanded a bit and spreads elsewhere. This isnt a position based on whether something produced in this way counts as "real art" or is morally bad or whatever, I just think that reducing corporate and IP grasp on anything is good, and that AI specifically is going to be most enjoyable when its free and open source.
#AI#discourse#im genuinely happy to discuss this so feel free to send more asks or reply#but im turning off reblogs because im not a fan of online discoursing

Do you have a specific idea for a self insert to ship with Entrapta, any storyline etc?
i swear i had put the information about them here but i cant seem to find it? so either im wrong and just thought i did or tumblrs search function is ass (either is possible). but doesnt matter either way, ill explain it here. The explanation is under the read more as it contains some stuff im tagging with a trigger. as well as being long and not wanting to clog timelines Tw incest
STORYLINE So the first thing i want to get out of the way is they are siblings. yes this is a sibling ship, And there is a reasons why. Entrapta is a princess and we all know how royalty feels about incest (im joking, this is a joke XD) the real reason is that she lived alone her entire life. she grew up in her castle surrounded by machines and robots that raised her. she genuinely had no living family that ever raised her. so the idea of the only other person she was raised with being her brother, the only other person she ever really knew being him? well thats a bond that is so incredibly close and goes beyond what one normally expects. they are literally the only other person each other has known their entire lives. even as siblings its no wonder the feelings bloomed when the only other human being you ever interacted with growing up being your brother means the feelings between the two of you are extremely personal and isnt the same as everyone else. like sure there are the robots that taught her all the stuff she knows and TOLD her about society and how people act and stuff. or atleast how they are supposed to..but its not the same. pretending a robot is another person isnt the same. and sure they are taught about laws and societies and stuff..but doesnt really mean much in the end
Plus i mean we already know she isnt the most caring about laws and morals, i mean she happily joins the horde after she sees the advanced technological power they had as well as some "convincing" from catra. so even in the end she wouldn't care im her brother, or realize that its bad no matter what anyone said. To her it only made logical sense she would fall in love with the only other person she had ever known growing up and vice versa.
INSERT THEMSELF
My inserts name is moss aka "The Huntsman" , and as i said before he is entrapta's brother. ive taken some liberties with canon to expand more on entraptas family. See, in the story we have some books and audio recordings of our parents and are able to learn a little bit about them. Our father was a brilliant technological genius and he originally designed the robots that raised me and entrapta, and was the old leader of dryl and he had a deep fascination with first one technology. As you can imagine he is where entrapta inherited her genius and love of robotics and first one tech. She took to his research like a duck to water and sure enough she had an intellect to rival even his. I tried but it never clicked with me and i always ended up more confused than anything. Our mother was in tune with the wilds, combining her otherworldly tracking and hunting skills, the ability to control her hair like limbs, Her deep knowledge of the natural world, as well as her supernatural skill with a spear. She was the greatest hunter in all of etheria and she loves nothing more than the thrill of the hunt. I inherited almost all of our mothers skills and abilities and took to her teachings much more than i did our fathers (that was entraptas favorite as you can see, as well as her gaining our mothers hair powers.) and so i became the great huntsman like our mother had been the great huntswoman all those years ago. Entrapta was only ever interested in these teachings if it involved first one tech based nature. Design wise i feel like his outfit is a mix of furs and leathers with more advanced plating underneath (courtesy of entrapta) and even some augments that can improve my abilities (things like ability to hide my body temperature, muffle my footsteps even more, and change color to blend into environments).

tell me about these ocs 👁👁
My OCs, you see, come from a fairly passionate interest of mine.
And... my grievances towards certain modern adaptations.
See, I like stories that expand on or reimagine classic myths, and use said myths in a new and interesting way! Especially if they have an added cultural/historical influence, like Garmr and Fenrir in God of War: Ragnarök!
For some mythos, our resources are lacking. Especially with Norse mythos, where are main source is essentially surviving ruins and texts from outside sources, and Snorri's Edda (which was written during the Christianization of Scandinavia. And some of the sources we have of the Vikings come from biased outside sources and unnearthed graves.)
So, creative liberties are inevitable. I don't get too up in arms about "mischaractetizations" like some other mythology nerds because... well... they're fictional characters based on thousands year old mythos. And thus, I was inspired to break free from these chains and go absolutely buck wild with my own creative liberties! With some inspiration from other medias, of course. I always found God of War's multi-pantheon story interesting, so I'm expanding on that concept a bit in my own story! I like Hellblade's portrayal of the gods from an outsider looking in, especially with the added context of her trauma, of course these gods of the men who killed those she loved would be seen as monsters! A more modern twist on Orpheus and Eurydice in Hadestown? With the added industrialism commentary? YUMMY. (Ignoring my issues with the Persephone and Hades stuff)
And so, that's what I hope to bring to the table! An exploration of fate, mortality, morality, and philosophy using gods and familiar literary heroes as my chess-pieces, exploring cultural influences through the ages and the ever-changing connection of man and god. The inevitable end to all things.... In reality its probably not That Deep but hey im having fun lmao
As for my grievances.... I feel like certain modern stories miss the original point of these myths. While yes, they're mystical and have some silly bits to 'em, they were used to explain the order of the world back in the day. Why are there seasons? Why do natural disasters happen? Why are we here? Where do we go when we die? What must we do to ensure a safe travel to the theoretical afterlife? Why do we have laws and civilization? But also, people seem to forget the underlying themes of a lot of these myths (esp greco-roman myths); these gods are nuanced like us mortals. While idols of worship, they are not spared from cruelity.
The Kidnapping of Persephone is not only a story of the seasons, but also a story about a mother's grief and the traumatic reality of young women being forced into marriage. Hades and Persephone isnt a good relationship, and its one of those things thats uncomfortable to see romanticized even with the creative liberties in place.
While I do take a lot of creative liberties, I do not want to erase specific meanings found in these myths. Specifically that mortals and gods are both equally flawed and neither are inherently perfect, and the relationships aren't always the healthiest really.
Despite my belief that humanity is inherently kind, that doesn't mean humanity isnt flawed or cruel yk yk?
I explore a lot of silly things with my silly little god ocs and I KNOW THIS PROBABLY ISNT WHAT YOU WERE ASKING FOR BUT YOU DIDNT NAME A SPECIFIC OC AND I GOT OVERWHELMED SO I TALKED ABOUT MY INSPIRATION BEHIND THEM FOR A BIT SORRY LMAO

early karkat's fantasies hinges on merit based acceptance, which is often the way minorities who r conservative think. i wouldn't say she has a sense of camaraderie with hic ofc, her goal is to work under her as a threshecutioner. a cop lol. what is interesting though, is her admiration for her, for someone who rules/serves alternia. i think that in and of itself is this link where she can relate to her despite remaining a respectful distance from ever wanting to Be her.
hic being under the control of doc scratch is something interesting as well, other people have said it before how because she's a figurehead and purples basically have the power to be commanding laws for trollian kind. a person of color shouldering all of the attention in positions of power is the norm in our society, even if most of the decisions are being made by the white people behind them. libs and conservatives do this btw. while hic is girlbossing it out in intergalactic space, ghb was ruling alternia with an iron fist. same w beforus.
that is not to say hic wasn't a war criminal lol, yeah she did that shit. hard pivot, but meenah groomed pre scratch vriska too. she was intrigued by karkat because she was 'hard-boiled' and lowkey worshiped her alt self. meenah's also interesting because she was groomed to be beforus' figurehead too but fucked right off to the moon. all though i highly doubt that the trolls in power were like yup i guess that's that, and left her alone without keeping an eye on her, like she even had a gold statue of herself in one of her dream bubble memories??
you can be black and rich, you can be black and a billionaire, but that doesnt mean that the system was made for YOU. even if a black person holds power, the constant condescension and bug eyed looks when people wonder what the fuck you're doing there is IRRITATINGGGG. of course she wasn't raised as a person or with morals in general, she wasn't a person. hic was replaceable and knew that fact every time she killed a young fuchsia. she was the last troll alive and she killed the other perpetual tormentor of her race, she and the handmaid are the same, only one didn't get to live the illusion of freedom.
and fuckin karkat man... to be hoping to work under her... believing (deluding herself) that all she needs is discipline, merit, and recognition so she isnt defined by her blood color. like that's black as fuck.
ive got complicated thoughts on meenah/hic as a black coded character, like i dont think hussie was thinking about her blackness when writing her as being subjugated by doc scratch but her gender and implied race goes hand in hand. esp w karkat who i also think of as black (and a tgirl egg).

so i have been reading the bible for the first time in like five years and oh my god it has sucked so much the bible is so fucking hard to read. (and by read i mean i started with genesis and am currently halfway through Matthew) (i thought the bible was short but it's apparently 700k words long which is longer than the whole of the lord of the rings and the hobbit combined. so . no it isnt short)
two important thoughts for right now:
Life Lesson #1
i genuinely thought for the last like,, ten days that i would have to stop being a christian because as much as i Adore christian philosophy, it has to be grounded in the bible and if the bible is bad then it's all bad
here's part of a journal entry i wrote about it:
I include this because i want you to know that when im looking for answers I Mean Business and i am not above fundamentally changing everything about what i believe based on new evidence. it freaked me the fuck out but i needed to know that if god is evil and i find out about it that i will walk away rather than continue to worship a cruel sadistic God. im not making promises but if you believe in god then you know He Did make promises and one of them was that he loves wisdom, and that it is a good gift, and that he gives good gifts.
my point is that when questioning God, he says ask seek and knock. if he's real then he will show up. if he isn't real it's no longer your problem . \.-./ in my experience he usually shows up even if he takes his time and sometimes it isnt exactly what you want but it's enough to be satisfying (although a three month turn around is kind of insane in biblical terms and he provided me with a woman theologian which i did specifically demand i said i will not speak to a man about rape and i said that means there's nobody for me but Bam apparently there are women who managed to get in there. she's kind of a boss ngl. i also now have a book on theology that answered some of my questions nearly immediately. which is. kind of crazy. my questions typed up are 9 pages long so it's going to be a while ok lmao)
Life Lesson #2
The bible is Not an accessible read. it just isn't. the average person can not pick up the bible, start with genesis, and read through the book of revelation and walk away with ideas about god that are universally true. you would get the big important pieces, god is holy, sin is bad, jesus died for your sins, and he is coming again, repent, love people, love God. but to have a good picture of women's sexuality, rape, violence, war crimes, virginity, sexism, child abuse, murder, and capital punishment? to walk away with an immediate practically applicable moral framework? you will not understand jack shit about the law without research it just isn't going to happen. fortunately for us average people there are scholars who have labored for lifetimes trying to make this information accessible
in other good news Jesus provided us with the Dumb Fuck Version (affectionate): Love the Lord your God and love your neighbor as yourself. If you can grasp that then you're good to go as far as biblical moral frameworks go, that's the most broadly applicable moral guideline you're gunna get. if you want answers to all your questions (i sure do) you're going to have to ,, suffer for it.
i will come back with more information compiled in a reasonable form but im on my first theology book and it's going to be the first of probably dozens. so i might not say anything for a while we'll see
Lilac, you might be thinking, doesn't the inaccessibility of the scriptures cause massive philosophical / theological problems? I currently think so but I'll let you know o7
#swearing#yeah im feeling really good about it tonight but my mood has been fluctuating between There is Hope and God is Dead#the book im reading is called 'Bloody Brutal and Barbaric?' on the war crimes in the bibme#fascinating and also deeply upsetting read but tbh no worse than the bible so \.-./

Do you have any tips to help someone who keeps failing? I have been trying for several years now to get started and feeling more and more hopeless every year. I have attended $$$ events, lost weight, moved closer to major cities. Then of course COVID struck and made things worse. Is there something I can do that can help me gain an "in" or are certain things just not meant for some girls.
KEEP TRYING !!!
Yes i screamed it... but that’s because thats the most important thing in succeeding.
Secondly Congrats on taking the steps and trying.....
(THIS MIGHT MAKE MAKE YOU NEUROTIC.... If you already are then DO NOT DO THIS)
The following is also important
1.) Have you asked your self why you keep failing?
Take a pen and paper and spend an entire day by yourself. Think, play things over in your head and Analyze.... This is probably the only time i truly suggested, over analyzing the crap out of your life, decisions, faliures and successes.
(a) What mistakes, do you keep making? or What mistakes do you think you keep making.
(b) what makes them mistakes
(c) Would those actions have worked out better in something else or displayed to someone else
(d) who and/or what would this action work on
2.) List your obstacles ... Every single one you could think of...
Make 3 categories
.....Obstacles you have gone through - What caused it? who caused it? (Regardless of who caused it... You owe some responsibility... so still own up to it... But remember BE KIND to yourself...)
There is a fine line between being kind to yourself and completely absolving yourself of any responsibility when owning up to the responsibility of things gone wrong
......Obstacles repeated - How do you NOT repeat this Again?
.......Obstacles Imagined and Obstacles that could still happen (based on different things, character flaws, finances, men’s personalities, race, looks, nature) Get as detailed as needed.
Man plans and God unplans ...
However, as humans we have ability to at least create contingencies... try to come up with possible contingency plan and POSSIBLE action on how to still not stand still when one of those obstacles appear... Basically figure out another way to scale through, wiggle through, swim through... whatever way (As long as there is life, health and will... there is a way.... After all people have clawed out of dungeous using only a stick or even their finger nails)
3.) What have you tried that didnt work? or keeps failing... List it
4.) What ever #3 is that didnt work... What is the alternative that you haven’t tried.
5.) Clearly you see this as an investment if you have lost weight, moved etc... What is missing in the picture? (I don’t know you, nor have I spent time with you or know your thinking process or views... So this is something even if you dont know what is missing... You have to sit and think... Sleep on it, give it time but remain introspective but be mindful to know when clarity presents itself.
Being brutally Honest with yourself is the only way to know what is missing and where you are missing.
Example: I met a gorgeous black girl A few months ago. From the get go, I knew she was hypergamous... The men also knew. But there was something missing and i couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Until we were all talking with the men present.
She carried herself as a pretty girl, sweet and bubbly... But she made the mistake of trying to emulate the white woman’s countenance... So she could be doted on same as a white woman... I can’t explain this in detail.
But while it is good to emulate things noteworthy in other people... She lost her self and her own personal spark. As a black woman... She avoided the pitfalls of a stereotypical black woman (quote on quote)... in the process, she mistakenly lost her goddess quality and blended in with the rest. The men moved on from her.
My Point is: WHAT IS MISSING... Are your run of the Mill? What is your core
6.) Standard -
Do you have set standards? expectations of yourself and of the Men and of your surroundings?
Do you keep it? Do you up hold it or do you switch or lower it under pressure?
Not to give too much information... I refused to live in the poor neighborhood when i moved off college campus. I lived in a condo and lived Smack in the center of the wealthy part of the city. I was not in this lifestyle then... But it was simply my standards... And even though it meant staying on campus longer till i got it... I did that.
Example 2: I have friends who do not care what hole they enter to get entertained (granted you can meet people anywhere)... But I am not the type that goes out very often... So why will i waste my few outings in some frat boys bar or club. So I go to high end places.
Example 3: I met a man who recently sold his company with upwards of $80 Million... I wasn’t told... I was aware of the process and listened to him through the proceess complain about delay in the closing and trying to avoid tax etc
He was deperate to meet me in person. As a matter of fact the day he closed. He flew me to his city (I went cause i was bored). Long story Short... He is the type of man that got lucky... There isn’t much in terms of comparison... Thinks he knows everything, thinks himself black people’s savior and makes comments such as “If there were black women like you”... Has some racists views he doesn’t think is racists... I met his friends... I liked one (But he just recently got remarried and was the smartest of the bunch). They had pissing games who had thr most rolex collection etc... He was crazy about me... Still is even without so much as a kiss and i spent a weekend there. (Had my own hotel room)
But, I knew while the money was there, he was generous and was crazy about me... It would drive me nuts being with him and interacting with his friends... My standard here is that I won’t deal with any man who so much as stresses me mentally especially as I am a black woman... I won’t take nonsense.
My Point is : What do you compromise on that you do? It is a long road being steadfast to your standard... But it has been worth it for me.
Do not use anyone’s standard... Create your own and work on keeping it... Men will despise you for it... But respect you all the same.... It is a weird placed to be.
7.) What type of events do you attend. When you attend events, go out etc... What do you do? How do you approach these events? Do you wing it? Do you plan it? Are you fearless and confident or shy or just pleasant enough to exchange pleasantries alone? What vibe do you give off?
How do you dress? Different styles can come across different ways... Some ooze Sexy, some ooze elegance with a hint of sexy, some basic, some regular, some say just another event person
8.) Closer to Major cities : what part of that do you live? Even if you are not in the center of things... Where do you go when you go out? How often to do go to wealthy areas, who do you interact with there?
There is a plethora of questions who have to ask yourself.
With Covid I have met people (but then, I work for myself and have more freedom to move around and also take mini vacation in other cities) And I already have a network... So, I have a leg up -
But, I know girls here and people are also still meeting people.
What is stopping you? What avenues and methods have you tried? Have you thought outside the box?
Hopeless? No... Wrong direction... As you fail you learn things that dont work so that should make you hopeful.
Also, I am a big beliver in manifestation and law of attraction. Feeling hopless will only make things more hopless...It will attract more faliure...
Find ways to think more positively, ways to turn negative things into potentially positive things... In this case you do not have to be rational... Imagine everything negative happening has a positive...
e.g : A man cancelled on you = It wasn’t meant to be... It might have turned into a terrible situation for you... Thank God or the universe for saving you from whatever it is you arent aware of.
eg : Covid happening : Time to make more money, invest. Brush yourself up, level up some more, learn new ways to meet this men and become more resilient so you come out fire when, the world isnt tupsy turvy
e.g : Getting older: Perfect, the more sure and certain you become in yourself, the more you actually find out what makes you stand apart, the more you find out who you are and realize that whatever amount a man was going to give you last year, you’ve outgrown it with age, maturity, acheivements etc.
You get the gist.... NEVER FEEL HOPELESS
You can feel sad... But not hopeless... Dust yourself up and try again...
Maybe one day i will take time out to share some of my own short comings and faliures... Cause i think we share the successes much more; that people think there aren’t mistakes and faliures and short comings... I have had them, and I continue to work and fix them.
The only thing is after my introspection... and brow beating myself and figuring it out...i don’t like to dwell on the faliures... I put my self to work updating myself. Besides I think sharing more good news brings more good news and vibes... But, there isn’t anyone that can claim to not have had obstacles and faliures.
Finally: My sister beleives everyone has a destiny... But everyone is also capable of changing theirs...
With regards to your question... About certain type of girls ...
The Answer is NO...
Some people might find it harder, or lack the resources and know how
But trying, pushing ones self, acquiring knowlegde and doing whatever it takes (of course within reason and comfines of morality ) Is what makes the difference.
As i write... I know women who took their entire savings to go to ST Barts for New Year... (Would I? NO) But some would... My point is.
You will go as far as you are capable of seeing yourself go.
So if you want a change in your pattern... You have to break the wheel... Try something new you haven’t tried yet... And a new approach.
Question for you: “Gain an in?” Into what circle do you want an in? What type of man

well yeah but the issue is that the “community based solutions” are incredibly vague and utopian. it works only if we assume everyone in the community is morally good and pure and not a shit person. yeah, strong social politics would resolve the desperation crime, but what about other crimes? there arent just “desperation crimes and cruel crimes”, there are many more. and also, do people in the community get paid to do it, or is it all volounteer basis? do cops only solve issues such as murder? then it seems like nothing is changing except “well we want UBI so no desperation crimes”, and everything stays the same, except the treatment of the severity of crime.
like yeah, community is important, but it cant implement the social net security. it works on basis that everyone will be helping everyone, but that’s not the case. when the balconies in my building were falling apart (even falling on a neighbour who held her young child at the moment), we had to call a building-council (people living in the building, and then the decisions on how to use the common money we all pay yearly for the building in cases like this happening are decided by a vote) and people without balconies? they didn’t care for us who had them. despite the issue and money being common, they still voted us out, and decided to spend the money on new doors and a parlafon.
after the community of the building failed us, the state stepped in and based on inspections said the balconies need to be fucking fixed.
“community based solutions” mean the community should be the one deciding. but then, within the community, who has the power to decide on the punishment for the crime? and who decides what the crime is and what the punishment should be? is it all decided from a community to community, based on common votes? if then, what about a white supremacist community which decides that black people need to be lynched, or a feminist community which says that trans women are predatory? who decides who’s the predator that needs to be punished?
and “community support” is also vague. what about support for shitty people? do they not deserve it? we cant live in an utopia where everyone is the “good leftist”. what about the old neighbour down the street who shouts slurs at gay people? does he deserve the support of the community or is he banished until he changes his mind?
i am a communist, thus believing in strong central state. the problem with many anglo-leftists is not understanding that the state is ALSO a form of community, and that state should exist for the people, and be responsible for these kinds of things. its on the state to provide neutral support for everyone without moral judgement.
and i am also a believer of “from everyone according to his abilities, to everyone according to their needs”, but it also needs the state implementation to work.
anyway, this isn’t me being like “COPS ARE ACTUALLY GOOD”, but i dont think this is a viable solution either. and it tends to ignore the problem of countries with imperialistic pasts being the reason for why cop corruption is so rampant. if the state isnt healthy, its hand cant be either. cops are a product of the state, infected by what its policies are. the police arent a separate entity from it; they are the “law enforcers”, thus depending on what the laws are. abolishing the police is like cutting out the tumor but not fixing the core issue, because any other system thats implemented wont be a functionable one. the police dont think or act on their own, they do what the state politics tell them to. so thats why the change should come from inside before abolishing anything
i feel like a lot of people advocating for community based solutions to policing do not read the newspapers in a country where upper caste men enact violent justice on oppressed people. the KKK organising racists into lynching frenzies to put black people in their place was also a community policing it's hierarchy. i do not know when and why the word community became an unqualified positive thing on the left.

EXACTLY and like if governments were stepping up to offer to financially support these kids or young moms or AT ALL, even then it would be horrible because being born to a mother who doesn't want you and can't take care of you SUCKS but its way way worse than that because women won't be able to have the abortion and then deliver a baby they can't care for and like the foster care system is so many hundreds of thousands there is NOWHERE for them to even go like ??? they really just want these babies to have to be born with NO options and then they keep cutting government benefits to make sure they'll have even less options
Like when I found out that in the United States that food stamps and women and child benefits don't COVER DIAPERS like you CANT get diapers on them ??? Diapers are SO expensive?? You're just doomed i guess ?? Can't buy laundry detergent if you're poor because the government has a BLOCK on using government aid for that ?? DISGUSTING
How is it better for these babies to be born and die painfully of starvation or neglect than never to be born at all. Its so so so heinous and terrible morally, way way way worse.
And SO MANY PEOPLE die every day around the world waiting for an organ, and all those on dialysis with their kidneys dying and suffering but unable to get an organ because this ALREADY DEAD CORPSE didnt give permission?? The ideas theyre basing all this moral structure on are so so skewed I hate it
everything you just said.. yes. and a big issue with the US law they're working to pass too is that they've let religion get so laced into it. none of them are thinking about what is going to happen to these children or anything, they only care about giving a cluster of cells rights bc some religious karens are getting their panties in a twist over it.😐
it also makes me so sick when i think about the fact that it's always men pushing for this shit. like hello ?? you don't have a uterus, stfu.
literally every day i come across a LIVE on tiktok where a woman is holding a debate over how abortion isnt murder, and it is a l w a y s a man that has joined the LIVE to debate against it. SIRS. ITS NOT YOUR PLACE. like i get its a debate, but if i were a man and i saw that i would absolutely NOT feel comfortable saying a single thing. why do men care so much about what women do with their bodies?? its not their place at all to have an opinion.
#funny thing is if you ask these anti-abortionists what they would want if their kid was r*ped and go pregnant#mANY would say they would support them in aborting#i've seen many videos of this and i just ?????#so if its not your kid you dont care ??#and the fact that none of these people have an answer when asked what theyre going to do to help these millions of children that will be#put up for adoption ????#i just dont understand#tw: politics#tw: abortion#tw: sa mention#anon#replied💌#got*

i think the cost of good moderation also cannot be overestimated like even if (and its a big if) ao3 wanted to moderate content on it beyond what the law demands, it would be a very difficult and costly process imo. like think abt it, fics on ao3 can be upwards of 100 000 words and new works are posted there constantly. its not like moderating things like fb posts, images or short videos (though if youve read anything abt how fb moderates its content u will know that its still an arduous process which traumatises the employees who do it).
before ao3 came along the solution that lj and fanfiction.net had was blanket banning and that wasnt just them being moral purists, it was them responding to the difficulties inherent to moderating. cant read every single fic or community which contains sexual abuse, whether theyre romanticising it or criticising it (or hell, creating communities for survivors)? blanket ban it. sure youll get rid of the important and beneficial stuff too but its literally the only way of handling it.
sure other sites have found better ways but generally that involves an algorithm which is far better at dealing with copies of pre-existing material. for instance, many apps will have an algorithm that identifies and removes child porn thats already been flagged up. youtube removes copyrighted material that theyve been asked to take down by using an algorithm that identifies copies of preexisting songs. another more sketchy example is tumblrs algorithm that removes nsfw content by identifying what it thinks is an nude/porn. that isnt based on something pre-existing but it is image based. and we all know how well that worked.
by allowing any content that is legal on ao3 they simplify the matter by a) vastly reducing the amount of content they need to moderate, and b) having a pre-existing legal code to refer to (therefore removing any burden on them to come up with a ‘fair’ system which we all know full well would be complex as hell).
my overall question here really is, if you think that the content on ao3 is immoral/unacceptable, how do you suggest they handle that? do you really have a method thats feasible that a) isnt too costly, and b) doesnt throw the baby out with the bath water? having an ideological stance is easy but having a practical solution is harder.

Copyright protect both big and small ip's from their job getting stolen, but it OBVIOUSLY benefits the biggest companies the most, and is usually behind a paywall.
In the eyes of the law art is just a product. Therefore names, logos or even certain siloutes are branded. As an ip you may want to stop your product to get bastardize by someone or get your image distorded by fans.
Any fanart, fanfict or fangame is suable to a extent usually related to its publicity and its monetization.
There are laws that also protect you as a consumers and fans, for example you can make a parody, review and monetize a issued newspaper on content, using characters and iconography (star wars specials in lot of shows) and do cameos or references. This is not punishable as the thing you a re monetizing isnt the "stolen" original content.
Patreon, OF, Etc work aorund this making the monetization being a donation or patronize to the artist and not the art itself, you are supporting the person, not the content. But they are still suable.
One important factor is the media it is in. Making a drawing of a drawing, an animation of an animation, and a game of a game is extremely problematic. Also being used in a bussiness if very illegal.
All this comes to the point that every fan-thing is suable to make it "protected" against unfair uses, but are the companies themself who decide if the sue or not artist, being Nintendo and Disney two of the most anoying party poopers, destroying modded roms or fangames.
Most the time they dont sue small artist becouse of the time cost they would have to invest in that would be huge so they just sue the bigger ones wich translates in trouble to the platforms themself. We almost lost memes on twitter and yt due to Article 13 not so long ago.
There are chill corps like Riot that even gives away free uncopirighted content for people to use on streams.
It is strictly regulated and judges will often fail against the companies protecting the citizen, happened a lot. F.ex: Capcon tried to copiright the fighting genre completely, court said "do you want to copiright breathing too?"
Anyting market related, like branding and copyright can be extremely unfair, but ultimately unnecesary.
Disney wont be happy if you sell a movie to Netflix called the avengers (R) done by some random dude and drawed by its little cousin, they will be rightfull to sue netflix, the publisher and the director.
There are also fine tunin on those laws, Disney cannot own Thor as a concept but can own the Thor that uses a specific style that shares a relation with a certain character in a certain way. And yes there are originality laws that can set the diference between stolen, inspired by, parody and plagiarism (last one is doing the same plot but channging the names and aspec a little).
Nintendo could Sue the BOTW demake wich was basically a Zelda game, but not Genshin Impact
Yet there is no way Disney can sue Sr.Pelo for mockey
Sorry for the long text, but i think its a complicated matter.
Laws can be unfair even in the fine tuning ones and therefore judges are needed to evaluate each case and bend this laws forth or back case by case based on theyr own education and morals.
Final thoughts
People have right not to get their job used to profit
People have right to use content for themself as fans
People should be able to monetize reinterpretations and fan crafted content
Two of those statements contradicts each other
OH NO
This planet is a fucking nightmare
#long post#thanks for taking the time to write this/gen#i still think these laws are used in the complete wrong ways most of the time aka the long examples you made#like disney stfu for a moment everyone hates you#and doesn't most of the time costs more defending yourself legally than making the content profitable?

Unpopular opinion: 🗣KARMA ISNT REAL🗣.
Karma is the tool of the pacifists and pushovers.
Karma implies there's some universal concept of fairness, and universal morality. These things do not exist. The cosmos has no requirement to be fair. A planet full of the most benevolent and moral beings could be destroyed by any number of astronomical events just as easily as a planet of the most evil beings, and the likelihood is only determined by the position of that planet in space, not based on the actions of any of the population.
Who arbitrates it? Who decides that, because you were a dick to that guy on the subway you now have to stub your toe? Who decides what child is starved? What woman is raped? What black man is shot by an officer? It sounds like a bureaucratic nightmare and antithetical to the parsimony we usually see in natural processes.
Karma is a coping mechanism of delayed gratification - like heaven and hell- because there are laws against revenge and retaliation. It’s a concept riddled in fear.
We are told Karma will even things out. But it doesn’t. I have seen too many decent people taken advantage of and even tortured while predator people do just fine and keep getting better at the expense of their victims. But people will hang onto the concept of karma- because it’s all they have and can’t deal with the idea that the one that has so wronged them will never suffer any consequences and have no means for compensation unless they deal it themselves.
To believe in Karma is to believe Breyonna Taylor doesn’t deserve justice...George Floyd didn’t deserve to breathe...Our ancestors deserved bondage
Do you believe that? Because I don’t. I can’t

If that's ok, i'd like to know more about the ocs of yours pictured in your post about unique art styles! They have really cool designs! Also is it ok to check your toyhouse? i prefer to ask before such things, i want to respect potential boundaries
Sure go ahead me TH is available for anyone :0
As for my OCs, well buckle up cuz this'll be a long one
Before I start though, I'd like to note something really quickly-
All the OCs I have are of a closed species called Soultunes, which are basically when souls intertwine with a certain song, which gives them magical powers and a change of appearance, kinda like a Quirk or an Epithet. No you cannot make your own(or at least call an OC a soultune), this species belong to a friend of mine and is kind of a friends-only thing.
Heck, Hecate, and Hecatia Helloh
So these 3, for starters, are demons. They were all one person before falling into hell, and when they got their Soultune, HELLOHELL, they splitted into 3 people. Then they were appointed to be one (or rather 3) of Fimimi's many Arbiters(which are basically Hell's law enforcement)
The 3 are semi-hive-minded, usually having the same thoughts and speaking at the same time, though They're capable of acting independent and can be split apart with no consequence, even sharing different moods.
Heck is the mom friend of the bunch, Hecate is the hothead, and Hecatia is the calm and sadistic one.
They're all pretty aggressive and violent, but also stick to their morals and make sure every sinners get their well-deserved punishment.
Their soultune lets then manifest magic and weaponry based on the sins of the person that's infront of them or the person themselves. Like sins against a child would allow them to create giant raddles or a person who likrs snow gives them snow powers. They can even turn minor sins like picking your nose into raw godlike energy.
They a force to be reckoned with.
Theodora "Thea" World
I honestly have nothing much with this character, not even a soultune- She just exists.
All I have is that she's a human-turned cyber diva and her soultune is Tell Your World.
Kitaa
Haha angela knockoff
So with Kitaa, they're from an alternate universe/timeline, made solely to entertain a god of the main soultuniverse. They were a robot made to solve all of humanity's problems, which they soon realized was due to humanity's inability to have their wishes granted.
So they became a force that rebelled against God and Death, trying to find a way to make everyone the authors of their own everlasting stories.
Grim Reapers attempted to fight back, one foolishly gave them a soul in hopes that sending them into the cycle of reincarnation would permentally destroy them, but all that did was allowed them to attain a soultune. They gained the soultune, String Theocracy, and proceeded to convert their whole universe into an infinite, reality bending library and successfully granting humans the ability to achieve their desires via connecting them to magic books.
They now set their eyes on the current universe in order to "salvate" the rest of existence. Knowing that the gods there would be capable of destroying them, they went under the guise of a mafia boss, with their highest ranking members being the ones with the books.
April Loop
(With and without her capelet)
So I haven't really planned out a backstory for her explaining exactly why she has a soultune, other then that she was dismissive of her own emotions and felt that every day was just a constant repeat of the same old day. She eventually got her soultune and practically used it on herself, trapping herself in a Groundhog Day Loop until someone by the name of Irse convinced her to end the timeloop and now they're besties with a bit of a shipping thing going on dhhdhdhdh
She kinda laidback and awkward, sorta cocky as well, but other than that she's just a plain normal girl.
Apriloop, her soultune, let's her create cherry blossoms on her body which allow her to manipulate time. Having sakuras bloom out of your body can be kinda painful, and she has no control over where they bloom soooo-
Aaand Lastly
Bristol Kakumei
(Ft an alternate outfit)
Bristol's from a very old time(still wondering where, thinking its prob Egypt but idk). And we all know during that time, women weren't considered human beings. She got tired of men treating her like trash, but due to the mentality she was set upon, instead of fighting for female rights, she decided to prove to every incel in her neighborhood/kingdom/town that she was more valuable than any girl they've ever seen. So she had her servants kill her, turn her corpse into a statue, then place her in a vat of amber, literally turning herself into a piece of art. Centuries later, scavengers found her vat and placed her in a historical museum, where she remained for years, even when she gained a soultune that reanimated her, she admired people seeing her as a work of art. Theeeeeeen a thief by the name of Ramona broke into the museum, not with the ambition to steal her, but rather to let her know that woman aren't oppressed(as much) anymore and she can live a free lady. She was easily swayed and convinced by Ramona, so she allowed herself to be taken away by her. Now they're GFs. [Cough]
As for her soultune, well it's Brain Revolution Girl. Prob not that fitting, I honestly think Pyrite Girl is a better fit but eh too late I made her before Pyrite Girl even existed so R.I.P. [badum tsh]. Her soultune just gives her the Midas Touch, albeit controllable so she isnt going around turning everything into gold. Also she's practically unkillable, being a golden statue n all
And this only scratching the surface of all me OCs, you can learn more about them on me TH.
