Fox: likes slow songs with meaning you really have to dig for + minimal instrumental + soft but clear vocals & the type of rock music you'd find in sonic amvs from the early 2010s. Occasionally likes a very upbeat songs of most genres, usually as a distraction or quick motivator. HATES short songs (≤ 2 minutes long) and complains about it a lot to Thorn and Doom.

Thorn: likes metal, rock, rap, & punk, but listens to a lot of fast-paced electronic music too. Prefers songs that sound grim, screamy, or just sound like if the vocalists were out to get him. Doesn't like super happy pop music that much, but will endure it and occasionally dance if one of his brothers really likes it enough to dance first.

Stone: loves relaxing non-vocal music, but will sometimes listen to songs with it if the vocals are soft/flat and relatable. Other from that, isn't too picky about what he listens to. Prefers a lot of what I call "background / daydream" music, and is the number one hour-looped game ost fan. likes to hum along. can't stand fast-paced songs.

Thire: doesn't listen to music. it weirds everyone out besides Stone, who finds it "predictable". if he had to choose, it would be between breakcore or R&B. He's mostly using his experience and knowledge from parties he's been to and people he's watched/interacted with to choose what songs he "likes" so people stop bothering about him not listening to music.

Hound: loves EVERYTHING literally EVERYTHING. always wants to discover more music, but prefers more lullaby-like songs because they help him focus and sleep. Jazz and hip-hop are also high ranking on his mental list because he likes dancing and singing along to them, but he doesn't get chances to listen to either of those very often.

Cody: generally likes any song about the high and/or lows of romance with very emotional & strong vocals because he likes learning about different views on love, but likes a bit of psychedelic rock. Doesn't actually listen to music that much, and doesn't go out of his way to do so, might actually even pass up a completely harmless chance if offered.

Rex: likes a LOT of rock subgenres but hates dubstep completely. prefers a deep bass somewhere in the music he does listen to, and music criticizing messed up parts of society. loves shoegaze and the grungy rock you'd hear in games from the early 2000s. is very quiet about this, so most people assume he's just too serious to like music, and he doesn't correct this.

Wolffe: listens to metal and goth music, doesn't have a preference for any specific subgenre. honestly doesn't listen to music that much and tends to pass up chances just like Cody does, but mostly because he thinks it's too distracting. doesn't hate any sort of music, but says he hates random ones to mess with other people.

Doom: into most music actually, but goes out of his way to avoid listening to it in front of people, so all this music discovery is accidental on his part. gets strangely embarrassed about people knowing anything about him, and denies even caring about music. has a heavy preference for anything jazz and disco, but doesn't like metal or hip-hop that much. Avoids depressing songs when he can.

Bacara: is like Thire and doesn't listen to music. doesn't care about it, probably won't ever, and has no opinion about music at all. May find lyrics strange, and (rarely) question people for listening to "something that stupid", but genuinely couldn't care less as long as it doesn't distract anybody.

When you watch an animatoc to a fast paced song do you prefer longer shots or just pure high scene changing chaos?

Secret third answer: I prefer for it not to loop.

A lot of fast-paced animatics like that will have a 30 second clip, and spend 10 seconds flashing through like six beautifully drawn animated shots, super fast, very impressive... aaand then it flashes through the same six shots again... and then it flashes through them a third time......

Like, I saw them the first time. If you only produced ten total seconds of animation, then I only need to see ten total seconds of video.

This particularly stands out on longer animatics (or other forms of fanvids—AMVs are guilty of this too) when, say, there's a chorus that repeats, and the video just loops the same animations/scenes/images every time the chorus comes up. The tension is supposed to build as the song goes on! It's supposed to get more moving, more exciting, more emotional, more funny—whatever the mood is. When I see 20 seconds of animation I just already saw 50 seconds ago, it kills the tension and the emotional build. And also I might stop paying attention, because man, ADHD really do be like that.

I get the feeling sometimes people have their animations loop like that because they want to use like 1 minute of song, and they want to do really fast-paced quick cuts, but they only have the time and stamina to put together 15 seconds of animation at that pace. The frenetic pace isn't sustainable for them. And if that's the case, I'd prefer it if they'd:

Admit they only made 15 seconds of animation and make it a 15 second video

make longer slower shots so they aren't giving themselves as much work and can stretch the idea for a full minute.

In an ideal world an animator could just produce 1 full minute of fresh animation, but in an ideal world I'd be able to write one million words in a month, all of wish we could make more art than we have time to make, so I'm not begrudging an animator for not being able to produce Even More Art than they already did. If u got 15 seconds u got 15 seconds. Just don't loop it, that's all.

Same goes for animations that use a full song. If you're doing a song with a chorus that repeats a few times, either do something at least a little different with the chorus each time, or edit the song to take out the choruses you'd otherwise just repeat.

(Caveat that this "please don't loop" plea doesn't apply if repeating over & over is part of the artistic vision. Like, if you're doing a video about being stuck in a time loop, or a toxic relationship repeating the same cycle over & over, or what have you, then I'll be like "damn... deep cinematic choice there." But if you're looping it just to avoid work, then just... cut that part of the song. It's fine.)

Anyway that matters a lot more to me than the length of the actual cuts—but I suspect the length of the cuts sometimes factors into a creator's choice to just loop what they've got.

Not that anybody really cares, but these are my personal takes on the first 2 PJOTV episodes.

1. Grovers character so far is getting too much hate! I, personally, think that the additions of Grover aren't that bad of a change for him. The scene in the office genuinely show how he is willing to risk his friendship just to save Percy. Also, be mad at Chiron for that, not Grover. Chiron made him do it.

2. Mr. D is adapted so well in this, and you cannot convince me otherwise.

3. Gabe is actually NOT written too nice. As someone who has dealt with manipulation/emotional abuse he is almost exact to the people who are like this (atleast in my personal experience.) Like, I'm no pro, but it's pretty spot on.

4. I don't really like Lukes character development... you're supposed to like him before the big betrayal and his character just feels super stiff.

5. THE BLACK SCREENS FOR TRANSITIONS ARE SO ANNOYING AND A TERRIBLE CHOICE. It doesn't really take away from the episodes, and I still enjoyed them either way, but it was still a really lazy and weird way to show a time skip.

6. Episode 1 had really weird pacing and went super fast. I can't really explain it, but it just felt rushed.

7. The fight with Ms. Dodds was super disappointing :( although Percy being unconscious on the floor while everybody is standing there was really funny.

8. The mythomagic for training is actually a really cool detail and I'm super excited to see how that helps him and Nico bond in the future! However, it's gonna make Nico running away hurt even more😭

9. Clarisse is amazing. The restroom scene felt a little disney channel, but she is so cool and well executed I love her anyway. Also, THE CAMO PANTS!! I am so happy that made an appearance.

10. Walkers sass for Percy is literally the best, he is literally him. Same thing for Leah for Annabeth. The small detail with her fixing Percy's strap was hilarious. Her blunt "tell it how it is" attitude is honestly such a good personality trait for her, and I think will mean a lot in the further episodes.

Overall rating?

Episode 1: 7/10

It was a great start to the series! The editing is certainly... a choice. Felt kinda rushed, but I really loved some of the changed made. Kind of mad that the outro song isn't Riptide (PJO version.) Still got me hooked!!

Episode 2: 8.5/10

They shouldve knelt when he was claimed. Pacing was better, but the weird transition point was still there. Lukes development is super boring, and I genuinely considered skipping his scenes. They should've shown the Council of the Cloven more, but I don't really care about that, it was just a missed opportunity. Loving Annabeths character, even if she wasn't there a whole lot! Chiron is making me mad, though. I LOVE DIONYSUS.

I'm super excited to see what they do with the characters. I'm trying to be super patient with the characters development, since its only the first 2 episodes, but I'm super worried that 6 more episodes won't be enough to properly execute everything necessary for the book. This is especially because most of the book is spent explaining things and is mainly world building. Everybody is almost exactly how I imagined, with maybe a few minor details, but nothing I even mind.

Ezio's Family

I didn't get any notes that the Ezio's Family that are only qualified for this list are the ones that are in AC games so...

Earth (Assassin's Creed 2)

I love how this starts slow then goes deep before going fast. I knew I had to pick an Ezio Family version from AC2 and it was either the OG Ezio's Family, Venice Rooftops or Earth and I chose Earth because it's the middle ground of the three. It has the fast pace style of Venice and the slow beginning of Ezio's Family. Plus, I like the vocals of this one and the way the music ends feels... uncertain which I think shows the uncertainty of Desmond's future in the present and the mystery that persists in AC2 concerning the 'Prophet' talked about in the Codex.

2. Main Theme/Ezio's Family (AC Identity)

I might have never played the game but goddamn this theme. When the beat drops and it gives a more hard rock version of Ezio's Family theme? I'm sold. I love rock versions of non-rock music and there's just this hint of isolation in this theme that works well with AC Identity's story.

3. Main Theme (AC Rogue)

This just hits differently (which is to be expected for an Assassin's Creed game with a protagonist Assassin turned Templar) and you can feel Shay's Irish roots as well as this feeling of adventure and freedom that has an underlying sadness to it (especially in the vocals).

4. Family (AC Syndicate)

Gonna be honest... it's the violins. I'm a sucker for violins and the violin of this one really hammers in how the title Family isn't meant to be joyful. It's meant to be a prelude to how Evie and Jacob's relationship would end in Syndicate's main story.

5. Venice Rooftop Soul Caliber V Remix

It's a faster version of Venice Rooftop and has that Soul Caliber music-esque addition to it that I just love. Soul Caliber is one of my favorite childhood games and hearing an Ezio Family official remix of a similar vein as the other Soul Caliber stage music? I can't help but love this. (Is this cheating? Probably but... oh well... XD)

Honorable Mention: Odyssey's "Ezio's Family", Russia's Main Theme and Origin's "Main Theme".

Flight Through Jerusalem (Assassin's Creed)

You know it was going to be the top one. It's my most played music in Spotify when I was still using Spotify and it will forever take that spot because I stopped using Spotify (other than podcasts). Why is it my top one? Well, here's my exact reasoning from that Spotify callout post I made last year: Flight Through Jerusalem is a track that manages to show the conflict of Jerusalem during the 3rd Crusades by mixing Gregorian-like chants with a kind of traditional Middle incoherent sounds trying to defend music choices

2. Underground (Assassin's Creed Syndicate)

This one is super specific. I think this could be a really great MV for Assassin's Creed especially the lines of "Loved ones taken long before their work was done" would certainly be about Desmond because fuck Ubisoft, where's our modern day setting Assassin's Creed where Desmond showed he's the ultimate Assassin and successor to his ancestors' wishes and will?

3. Fight Club (Assassin's Creed III)

This is, hands down, my most favorite music in ACIII and it's one that really makes me go "Okay! Let's go do something!". I don't know how else to explain this one other than it's a really fun and motivating song.

4. Masyaf Village (Assassin's Creed)

Okay, this one is more of a personal favorite of mine because it's creepy. There's this just feeling of being unsettled that does not go away the entire song and it's a great music to represent the mystery surrounding the Brotherhood itself. I just love the female vocals of this track. (Sidebar, this can be heard in ACR when Altaïr places the Apple in the library)

5. Altaïr and Darim + Requiescat in Pace (Assassin's Creed Revelations)

Mostly if you listen to "Altaïr and Darim", you would automatically hear Ezio's "Dear Claudia..." and yeah, that's one reason why I picked this one. But the reason why I picked this over AC Revelation's Main Theme? Because this is the music that plays when Darim and Altaïr have their last talk. When Darim tells Altaïr "All that's good in me began with you, father", I lost it. I was just crying. And "Requiescat in Pace"? That's the song that plays when Altaïr takes his final rest and I'm just gone. I'm out for the count. I don't care if it's cheating that I picked two for one spot, I can't separate the two because of the emotions both tracks give me in succession.

Today I ascended from this mortal plane and remembered why I love movies and want to pursue filmmaking.

For context, I watched Barbie, and the Miraculous Ladybug movie today.

So, I saw Barbie with my mom, in a theater full of women. The first five minutes, I was sat there like "Did the internet lie to me again?" cause I was genuinely confused about what the hell was happening onscreen. But once I managed to get into the groove of things, I really enjoyed myself. I didn't play with Barbies growing up, and it was still enjoyable to me. It was so campy and funny(thank you Kate McKinnon and Michael Cera for being a big source of that), but it had some pretty deep themes, such as criticism against both a patriarchy and a matriarchy, the struggles of women in society, existentialism, and mother-daughter relationships. Definitely a movie for the girlies, but I think it's enjoyable for everyone.

I think the music was great. My mom hates musicals, despises them with her whole heart, but she told me after the movie that she loved I'm Just Ken. And yeah, it was so much. My favorite bit was the fast paced "Can you feel the Kenergy" moments. I've been playing Identity V, and I use that to hype me up for matches. It gives 80s power ballad, and it's super fun to listen to over and over again. Ryan Gosling did a very good job with it. I can see I'm Just Ken and Peaces battling it out for Best Original Song. Push was great as well, despite being underused in the movie, the full version(which is a cover of an existing song) is very interesting, and lyrically fits the movie so well.

I'm not typically a fan of bright colors in movies, catch me watching The Batman any day, but Barbie is the exception, as it just made certain scenes feel so much more important. Mattel offices being cold and gray, really sold that corporate vibes, and the soft white at the ending with Ruth definitely made it feel like Barbie was reaching a life-changing conclusion. It's a wonderful use of color.

Now the themes are the big draw of the movie. Regarding the patriarchy, matriarchy, and daily struggles of women, those themes are definitely hard to miss, but they do so much good with them. Showing Ken being essentially brainwashed by the idea of the patriarchy is interesting, and definitely rings home for anyone who grew up with boys as friends. I've seen a few guy friends of mine turn from sweet guys, into womanizers as they grew older. And it also shows that a matriarchy isn't good either, by showing how the Kens feel less than in BarbieLand. The Ken's situation is a muted version of women's situations in the real world. The Kens aren't sexualized or hated, but they're ignored. In the real world, both in the movie and real life, women have it worse than the Kens, and feel in a similar position. Makes it easy to enjoy both perspectives. Barbie focusing on thoughts of death and change as a whole hits with me on a personal level, as I have a lot of issues with existentialism, and any movie with death as a major theme usually brings me close to tears(such as Puss in Boots 2, curse you good movies). Seeing Barbie meet her creator in Ruth was so sweet, and was incredibly heartwarming.

Special mention to the line "We mother stand still so our daughters can look back to see how far they've come". It made me want to give my mom the biggest hug, and I'm in no way a hugger.

Then I went home, and watched the Miraculous Ladybug movie because I had nothing else to do. I've been with the show since 2020, which isn't as long as other fans, but the show still sticks in my brain the same. I knew the animation was going to be great, and that the art direction would make up for any shortcomings in the story. And while yes, the plot was rushed (duh, like, how many years has it taken to get to this point in the show? its gonna feel rushed) but the art was absolutely stunning. My favorite moment was from Hawkmoth's villain song, Chaos Will Reign(available on Spotify) when they pulled out the Disney Villain lime green color. I love that color, and seeing Hawkmoth with it made me ascend. I really love the ending battle as well, the use of colors, lightning effects, butterfly textures, was just perfect. The animation was also really smooth, down to the small details of hair movements, such as when Nino and Alya are on the roller coaster, or when Chat Noir's hair gets wet.

The music was probably my least favorite part, just because I think Cristina Vee could've slayed it, and that the songs sounded kind of generic. But Oh My God, Chaos Will Reign had me bopping and replaying it. In fact, I'm listening to Chaos Will Reign and I'm Just Ken while writing this. It definitely gave me old Disney villain song vibes, mixed with the slightest hint of a Danny Elfman soundtrack. It just sounded so evil, but in a way that I can get behind. Keith Silverstein can actually sing, and that note at the end was wonderful. The vibrato gave me life. I was lowkey hoping Nooroo would stop talking so I could hear more. The chanting was awesome, and gave Friends on the Other Side vibes. I was (and still am) a big fan of villain songs, and this is a throwback to my theater kid days when I exclusively played villains and enjoyed it. Definitely overthrew the Hawkmoth Rap as my favorite Miraculous Ladybug song, but the Hawkmoth Rap is like, second place still. The only crime this song had was being too short. Release the ten hour cut.

Finally, aside from the glory that is Chaos Will Reign, I want to say that the two identity reveal scenes were amazing. I'll start off with Adrien and Marinette's, just because I care about that one the least. I think it was a creative way to go about it, with the masquerade masks. Fanfiction wins again. But I have so much to squeal about when it comes to the Adrien and Gabriel reveal. This version of Gabriel was definitely way more sympathetic than his show counterpart, despite committing atrocious acts. I actually wanted this Gabriel to get some redemption, and I think that bit of forgiveness from Adrien is just that. Let them have a good bond, PLEASE! The whole battle scene was just amazing, the fact that Hawkmoth was willing to do literally anything, and very nearly came close to winning. I knew he wasn't going to win, it's a kid's movie, but I was still on the edge of my seat and biting my nails.

I need both of these movies injected into my bloodstream ASAP.

Do I recommend them? Depends on your preferences. For Barbie, I can see why people wouldn't like it, it's campy(in a fun way), and it's anti-patriarchy and anti-matriarchy, which would make the misogynists and misandrists mad. But I think if you're open to a goofy time that will make you appreciate the women in your life, then give it a watch. It's definitely worth it.

For Miraculous Ladybug, it's a kid's movie, based on a show with a big following spanning years. I think it's something to watch if you're a fan, former or current, of the show. If you're just starting to watch Miraculous, it'll be a better watch if you sit through the show. But, it's a good movie, and still enjoyable for novice Miraculers.

I'm definitely watching these over and over again.

I'm putting all of this here because I know not all of my mutuals are swifties so this way I won't be spamming everyone's dash with my thoughts lol. I am writing all of this as I listen to it. It will be long. It is probably nonsense, you have been warned. Thoughts are under the cut.

Welcome To New York - The harmonies??? Hello?? Damn. The vocals feel a lot more raw. I loved this song to begin with. I love this one. DAMN THOSE VOCALS. 10/10 great start.

Blank Space - Gonna be honest, I didn't really like this song when it came out. Now, it's okay. Again, the vocals are way more raw. The old one was super synth-y and autotune? This one not so much. Not my favorite, but it good.

Style - This was my favorite song for sooo long. I have high expectations. The vocals again- damn. She doesn't emphasize the high notes like she did before. I am noticing a theme where the old tracks had a LOT of synth and these are kind of laying back on it.

Out Of The Woods - The backing vocals are way more clear?? Damn okay. She sounds so emotional what. HARMONIES OH WOW. The high harmonies in the chorus oh my god. Oh the bridge. Oh wow. Yep okay I love this. It hit hard.

All You Had To Do Was Stay - Okay okay it's getting redundant but god these vocals. They're so good what.

Shake It Off - I had to do dance routines to this song two separate times and I didn't want to do it either time. I don't like it now lmao. It's okay though. Again, I point out the lack of autotune.

I Wish You Would - I'm grooving so hard right now oml. It's so emotional but it's also incredibly groovy I love it. "It's all good" um girly are you sure?

Bad Blood - This was sooo overplayed when it came out. Vocals are super raw again. It's good though I don't hate it.

Wildest Dreams - I want to rap myself up in this song like a blanket and stay there for hours oh my god. I'm in love. There's nothing else to say.

How You Get The Girl - Ooh guitar. This is the first song I've heard distinctive guitar in. Honestly- not my favorite. It wasn't my favorite then and it isn't now. It's not bad, I'm just not a fan.

This Love - Ooh more guitar. This song is the kind that randomly gets stuck in my head and I don't really know that to do with it.

I Know Places - Oh god I love this song. Who knew running from the paparazzi could be such a fun song. OH WOW THAT SCREAM OKAY. THE HARMONIES. THE VOCALS. I'm grooving again I love this so much.

Clean - This is such an emotional song. I love it so much. It hits really hard for me. The raw vocals make it hit so much harder. I love this song. <3

Wonderland - Oh I'm grooving now. Ohhhh I love this. I don't usually like songs with Alice in Wonderland references because it's so special to me, but this one is okay I think. GODDAMN THEM VOCALS OKAY. Ohhhh vocalsssss. Okay I love this.

You Are In Love - This song makes me feel like I'm back floating in a quiet pond surrounded by little water flowers and little fish and frogs and a small waterfall. It's so nice <3

New Romantics - I love this song so much this better be good. She's really sticking with that theme of clearer vocals. Nothing sounds messed with at all. The chorus is... loud. I like it. It's pretty good.

VAULT TRACKS BABYYYY

"Slut!" - I was NOT expecting this to be so soft okay. Oh. Okay. Wow. I want to cry. "It might be worth it for once" Oh wow. That hit so hard.

Say Don't Go - Okay this is kind of what I expected. It's pretty good honestly. I can't tell if I should be crying or dancing. Oooh this is emotional. I like it. Vocalllls. It's good.

Now That We Don't Talk - This is more fast paced than I thought it would be. Lower register yessss I love it when she does this. OH WOW the lyrics are- oh wow. THIS BRIDGE OH WOW. Usually her songs fade out but this one just stopped so abruptly. I like it. I like it a lot.

Suburban Legends - Oooh I like this vibe. "You kiss me in a way that's gonna screw me up forever" OH GOD. Oh wow these lyrics. This hits so hard oh my god. "I broke me own heart cause you were too polite to do it" WHAT. Oh my god. I love this.

Is It Over Now? - I am preparing to cry. Oooh that intro that's interesting. This sound sounds very Out Of The Woods esq. OH WOW LYRICS OKAY. OKAY THAT'S AN OUT OF THE WOODS REFERENCE. WHAT WHAT THESE LYRICS WHAT HOLD ON. I need to process this oh my god. That's- that's a lot. This song is so good but oh my god that's a lot to unpack.

OVERALL

I love this album. It's absolutely amazing. The common theme that I found was all of the vocals were wayy more raw than the original. They also really laid back on the synth, which makes it feel way more like a pop album than an indie album which is the vibe I got from the original. All in all, 10/10 I will be listening to this for the nex few months.

She's leaning against him on the couch. His knuckles brush against her shoulder, an arm thrown lazily around her. It's comfortable. Nothing anything out of the ordinary considering it's a Tuesday and they're both doing their own thing--just in the same vicinity.

Scrolling through her phone, a message appeared over her notifications. A text from Ryleigh. [ Got plans? Want to go a bar with me? ] Liz considers it for a second until Ryan asks if he should order take-out for them if she's staying over.

[ Sorry. With Ryan. 👏 ]

It doesn't take long for her friend to text back: [ Boo. Ditching a friend for a date 😑 ] Habit has her nearly texting back that it isn't a date, but that would blow their cover.

How could it be a date when they do this all the time?

Their parents have long since left the event. Some other dinner they had to attend across town. It leaves the pair of them, thankfully, out of their parents' watchful eyes (maybe more so hers than his).

She let's out an elated sigh. "Thank god. These things blow." The only upside is getting to wear a fun dress--a dress her mother claims was a tad (okay, highly) inappropriate for a function such as this. "I say we leave and find something more enjoyable to do."

Just as Liz is about to walk off, Ryan grabs her hand to stop her. "Let's have one dance first."

"What?" she whines, frowning heavily. "No, come on. I suck at that stuff." Gyrating and bumping along to some fast-paced song, yes. Slow dancing? Doing some sort of waltz? Nope.

He pleads his case. "--So we both look stupid, who cares. It'll be fun."

It only causes her to roll her eyes, but she relents. "When I step on both your feet, you're not allowed to complain." He grins and they make their way onto the dancefloor.

She's mostly staring at her feet, trying to remember all the stupid dance lessons her parents had put her through at one point in her life. Huffs in annoyance every time she missteps, only for Ryan to chuckle near her ear.

"Relax, Lizzie, it's not like our parents are watching."

They aren't, that's true. And without them around, Liz knows what it must look like--what they must look like. Like they're actually dating and this is some kind of date.

But just because they're the only pair to be having some ounce of fun, it doesn't mean it's a date.

Ryan appears out of nowhere and slips an arm over her shoulder protectively. "Everything okay, Liz?" There's some relief in having Ryan now at her side, but she's still glaring.

They glance at the pair of them hesitantly in consideration. It doesn't last long though. The shift from awkwardness to pompous asshole is quick, especially when it's clear he wants to save face. "I didn't realize you're here with someone," he grimaces.

"And why exactly would I feel the need to share that with you?" Liz shoots back. People like him are the exact reason she doesn't attempt more than meaningless hook-ups. Having someone act as if they're entitled to her time irritates her to no end.

"Considering I didn't think you knew how to be out on a date with someone without it being the middle of the night, I'm just surprised you still have your clothes on."

She bristles at the insult, but it's nothing in comparison to the anger Liz feels radiating off of Ryan in that second. He beats her to saying something scathing in return. "I suggest you walk away now before it's too late." His tone is cold and threatening. Not something she's used to hearing from him, but it's enough to get them back off. Hopefully it's the last she's seeing of him again.

Liz turns towards Ryan. "Well thanks for the assist--told you I had shit taste," she jokes in an attempt to lighten the mood. It doesn't seem to bode well with him though as he glances at her exasperatedly. She pats him on the chest reassuringly. "It's all good. You were super menacing--very cool by the way--but you can go back to whatever you were doing before."

He shakes his head. "I'll stick around in case he comes back."

"He won't. It's fine."

Ryan shrugs. "I don't mind being your date."

She rolls her eyes half-heartedly. "I don't need a date to protect me." But she doesn't object further when he does, in fact, stick around.

"If we're both going, do you want to go together?

She shrugs. "Sure." Her brow lifts in question, a sly smile on her lips. "Does that mean I don't have to shell out Uber money?"

Ryan rolls his eyes and chuckles, "I will even throw in getting dinner beforehand."

"Ooh, well don't I feel special now," she grins, placing a hand over her heart.

"You have a very low bar for dates, Liz."

He says it jokingly, but the comment still sticks with her--the date part anyway, she could at least agree that her bar is pretty low. But then again, it isn't as if she's really a 'take out on a date' kind of girl. She replies without thinking much about it. "Well it's not like it's an actual date, so it's not like we gotta point out my obvious flaws, Ry."

Liz laughs and he smiles back, but there's a look on his face for a second that takes her aback. "What?" she asks.

He shakes his head, the momentary expression gone from his face as if it wasn't there at all. "It's nothing--so where do you want to eat? I think there's a burger place on the way."

She stares at him for a second, considers prodding further, but drops it. There isn't really a point, is there? Back to normal conversation it goes then. "Yeah, that's fine. Should I meet you here or you gonna pick me up from mine?"

It's her unfortunate luck when she runs into her dad just as she's left the coffeeshop with her orders in hand. The obligation to stop and chat isn't what Liz wants to do, especially if it means the coffee cooling off, but better to appease her dad now than be stuck with a lecture later.

"You missed lunch with your mother and I last week, Elizabeth. I'm sure you have a suitable excuse."

"Oh, well, you know. Busy... With things," she hems.

His brow lifts, unimpressed with her answer (as always), but he doesn't immediately address it. Instead he notes the drinks in her hand. "Off to meet someone? I'm assuming it isn't a business meeting, since that wouldn't be an appropriate exchange."

"Yeah, no. I mean, yes, I am meeting someone... And since I shouldn't let their coffee get cold, I should probably--"

"--A coffee date then?"

Her eyes nearly bug out at hearing her dad's response. "Wha--No, it's--"

He interrupts her again. "So you're not meeting Ryan then?"

Liz isn't sure how to respond to that. Technically, yes, she is meeting Ryan, but it isn't a coffee date, as her dad eloquently labeled. "Bringing Ryan some coffee doesn't make it a date." She's not about to explain the difference between a date and just stopping by.

"But you are going to see Ryan." He warms at that--seemingly happy that his daughter is seeing Ryan (and not doing some scandalous most likely).

She rolls her eyes. "Yes, dad, I am going to go see Ryan."

He nods approvingly, tells her he doesn't want to keep her any longer then. "Make sure to tell Ryan I say hello, Elizabeth. Your mother and I want to have dinner with the two of you sometime next week. Make sure to keep your schedule open."

She only sighs once his back has turned and she's left on her own on the sidewalk once more. The conversation wasn't as nearly bad as she had thought it would go, but speaking to either of her parents always left some tension in her shoulders.

Her phone rings as she tries to shake it off. It's Ryan. She answers without greeting. "Yes, yes. I have your coffee. Had a run-in with my father, so you know, you better appreciate this coffee I'm bringing over.

She catches his eye across the room. A smile brightens over his face and she grins in return. Watches as he heads over to her, saying his hellos as he passes by others. Even if she's seen him only minutes ago, Liz cannot help but give him another once over. Noticing, he smirks.

He's in front of her in no time. A arm slips around her waist, hand resting on her lower back. His mouth is beside her ear, leaning down to whisper, "All of the inappropriate staring is going to get someone in trouble."

Liz feigns offense as he pulls back to meet her gaze. "Are you trying to say I'm going to get you in trouble? From staring? Seems to me like you're giving me a lot of credit here, Ry." He nudges her playfully, causing her to laugh. Crossing her heart dramatically, she adds, "I promise to be on my best behavior."

"Well you don't have to go that far," he jokes. "It'd be a boring date if we suddenly decided to be on our best behavior."

Liz only rolls her eyes and says, "As if our dates would ever be boring." Usually this is the moment she adds in some offhand comment about it not really being a date-date, but she doesn't. And if Ryan notices, he doesn't say. But they both smile nonetheless.

Ryan raises a brow. "You think so?"

"I do happen to like you, so yeah." Which is true. Though she doesn't think she's really admitted that to him in some kind of traditional, confessional way. But Liz is starting to think she should. Especially since these so-called "dates" are something she's starting to look forward to... So maybe the idea of this, even if it is some work function she's attending as Ryan's plus one and they're technically in a fake relationship, wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to consider an actual date.

Never listened to the gray so this is already good to me. I like the feature. Oh. Oh I like this now that the drums have hit. It fits together seamlessly the voice effects don't sound weird and it's a good remake.

Ok this is a muuuuuuuuuuch better remake of the death of peace of mind than the teased one. It kinda sounds like a fan edit but not in a bad way. The real judgement point will be the bridge. For now I like the second chorus. Ok bridge time. WHT. WHAT. NO BRIDGE? THE SONG JUST ENDS?????

AND THE NEXT SONG IS THE BAD REMAKE THAT WAS ORIGINALLY RELEASED WITH THE TEASER STUFF?????? I do not respect either remake. No comment on the bad remake except that choppiness does not belong on this song. It's not as bad now that I know the direction the album is supposed to be at least.

Ok time for another one I never heard before. Lofi isn't bad I can't lie. Wait this is actually so good. I love the lofi look for this song. I was gonna skip it to get to the last remake but it's good.

Okok maybe one salvageable remake of a song I love will come out of this. Hopefully. It's so dark in hear I need it. WHY DOES IT SOUND LIKE CASCADA IS SINGING. I kinda like it but it's weird. [Before Krang]

He's got an Anxiety disorder and ADHD

He paces back and forth alot to think

He's so scared he'll crush his brothers with how big he is, so he's super gentle with people smaller than him.

BIG HIMBO ENERGY

Due to his ADHD he constantly needs stuff repeated, he's trying his best ok?

His father tried to put pieces of foam on his spikes when he was smaller to keep him and his brothers safe when Raph plays with them, but Raph ended up biting the foam and his father had to get it out of his mouth (imagine a person trying to get a piece of garbage out of a dog's mouth, and that's basically what happened)

He constantly chews, which is bad cause he often bites the inside of his mouth, leaving sores in them, or biting his fingers which due to his sharp teeth, often cause blood.

Donnie once got him one of those necklaces your can chew, and Raph LOVED IT....for five minutes because his bite force is so strong, he broke it, which upset him, but he's glad his brother gave him it.

Literally sleeps on a pile of teddy bears and makes a big nest for himself on his bed

He has named each stuffed animal individually and won't tell anyone their names

He has, surprising the quietist feet, which often scares his brothers because they don't hear him sneaking up on them.

Plays animal crossing and absolutely adores it

Would literally die for his brothers

His brothers all try to do the trust fall with him, and he always catches them, especially Leo, because Leo will do a trust fall in the middle of battle or off of a building as a joke and Raph will catch him, but then scold him

He listens to AJR on repeat because he loves the beat of their songs and their message

Literally can't do the floss, he's tried, but he can't and his brothers laugh at him for it.

Had braces when he was younger in hope of fixing his snaggle tooth, it didn't fix the snaggle tooth but it made his teeth really straight, and he's embarrassed of all the pictures of him that have braces in it

He has a big tail that drags on the floor, ans people accidentally step on it all the time, or when he turns around really fast, he literally flings people to the other side of rooms when he hits them

Uses his tail as a secondary attack

Very not flexible, can't touch his toes 😔

Literally will hug anyone, even a villain if he sees they need it, as much as it doesn't look like it, he gives the world's BEST hugs

Once ate moss as a dare and honestly thought it was pretty good, but now he eats it infront of Donnie because he knows Donnie doesn't like the texture or anything about moss and Raph eating it grosses him out

He talks in the third person as a vocal stim, he just likes saying his name

When he stims, he either paces back and forth, does big hand motions, swing his tail from side to side, or tap his fingers on something

The reason Raph is terrified to be alone, is because one day at the lair when he was young, his family went out somewhere but forgot him because he was sleeping and they didn't want to bother him, and some mutants kept trying to get into the sewers, and it was like a Home Alone type of shit, he's now really good at setting traps :)

Very claustrophobic

[After the Krang]

He wears an eye patch from the Krang eye thingie

Major PTSD

When he looks in the mirror, he sees glimpses of when he was part Krang and it terrifies him.

Stays in his stuffed animal fort for days for comfort

Is now extra EXTRA careful when with his brothers, he's terrified he'll hurt them again...

Constantly has an eye on Leo after the incident and almost has breakdowns everytime Leo isn't around him 24/7 because he's afraid Leo is gonna do something dumb or sacrifice himself again

Gives Leo tips on how to be a good Leader

He forgets he isn't leader sometimes and accidentally bosses the team around when it's actually Leo job now (he apologizes after word)

He stays curled up on his floor for hours on end, thinking about all what happened and it often leads to him crying

He doesn't eat for a while and his brothers have to convince him to eat

Him being turned into Krang left some effects on him, he has bigger sensory issues (that and plus his ADHD, it's like hell on earth), his eyes sometimes glow yellow which freaks him out, and he has bigger issues with controlling his strength and it scares him

Has even worse abandonment issues after it all

He doesn't like it when he can't move because it reminds him when he was kidnapped by the Krang

Due to his anatomy, he is a female Red-Eared Slider, but he always just thought of himself as a dude along with his brothers, and their father couldn't tell the difference between a female and male red eared slider, so he believed that Leo was a male

When Leo started going through puberty, he thought he was gonna die, so when he brought it up with April about it, she had to go all Big Sister mode and explain it all to him, thankfully due to him being around his brothers all the time, he knew how to lower his voice to the point where he didn't even need to think about lowering it

His family (except Donnie and April) all think Leo was born male at birth

[After Krang]

Major PTSD

It takes him a long time to get back into the gist of making jokes and puns

For a while he's just....quiet, he doesn't say much besides small conversations

He has a hard time processing all of what happened

He gets clingy to his brothers, scared that there's gonna disappear or be gone forever if he leaves them

VERY anxious about the whole "Now I'm Leader" stuff

Worried that he's gonna make the wrong call and get his family in trouble again like last time

Listens to his family alot more when it comes to making decisions to the point where he won't put his own input cause he's scared he's gonna get them all hurt again

Major Nightmares

Literally broke so many bones in the Prison Dimension, he tries to stand up, but his brothers push him down because he can't even walk or move because of how much damage was caused

He heals a lot faster than regular people, but his brothers keep him bedridden for a while just in case

Fusses over his brothers injury's and he blames himself for it

He gets some pretty bad insomnia out of all of this

Doesn't eat for a while

Him breaking some of his bones and tearing his muscles, he becomes double jointed in some areas, and when he gets back to making jokes, he likes to freak and gross the others out with how he can bend his hands or something

He cried so hard when Casey had to be sent back to his own time

Even though he only knew Casey for many hours, he saw Casey as like a son, or a friend

Alot more cautious

When they all get better enough to go on missions again, Mikey, Donnie and Raph all try to make sure Leo doesn't sacrifice himself again like an idiot

Instead of getting sad, he got angry, he got so angry at himself for everyone getting hurt, he got angry for disappointed his family, and he was just so angry about everything, eventually (with the help of his brothers) he was able to calm down a lot more about it all.

Even when he doesn't need them, he keeps his battle shell and goggles on as a pressure stimulant

As a kid he liked to dig holes, but he would just kinda sit in them, and chill (based off of Softshell turtles)

Very big theatre kid (also the dance he does with Atomic Lass at the beginning? Yeah, there is a part in a musical that does this EXACT move, so I feel like he picked up some dancing from musical choreography)

Big fan of meat lovers pizza, softshell turtles are carnivores, and his brothers once saw him eat a whole stick of sausage at 3 am because they heard some noises, it was the most terrifying thing they've ever seen

Taps his fingers on things in patterns as a stim

Often sways back and forth

He has the smallest tail out of his brothers, and he likes it that way, he would prefer that he doesn't have a big clunky tail that would get in the way.

His brothers tease him about his small tail and it's often why he gets picked last in things, because sometimes they go in order of who has the longest tail

Sometimes his tail wags like a dog's when he needs to stim or when he's excited

Only listens to EDM/Electronic Music and 80's pop, constantly listens to them on repeat

You know that bracelet he has on his wrist? Yeah, well one day Leo got a hold of it and figured out how to download subway surfers on it, Donnie can't delete it for some odd reason, but now Donnie kinda plays it on his wrist device thing when he's bored

Was definitely a sticky iPad kid growing up

Had a FNAF phase with Leo and can tell you all of the lore of FNAF

Once called Baron Draxum, father, as an accident, but now he won't let himself live it down and he internally reminds himself to call him Draxum, but he's still chill with him

Was definitely overtly cautious when he was around his brothers when he was younger, because he knew they played rough and how he had a softshell, so his brothers stuck and taped a bunch of big objects to his back to protect his softshell.

He has done the thing where he sits in a chair in the dark and turns around when Leo get home and asks him "So, where have you been all night?"

He knew Santa wasn't real as a kid, because, science, but he always enjoyed seeing his brothers so happy when he was younger, so he always played along

His room is the darkest room out of all the rooms

His father didn't know what autism was, so when he saw Donnie stimming as a kid, he thought his son was gonna explode

He wasn't surprised when he realized that Leo was born female, due to his anatomy it was obvious to him cause he did a lot of research, but he never brought it up because he never felt the need to and he still loves his goofy twin, even if he's a pain in the tail

Best sense of smell ever, it's almost scary

He plays a lot of puzzle/adventure games

The best swimmer out of all of them

He has a bunch of purple markings (like on his arms) that are all over his face, but he's super insecure about them so he covers them up with his bandana

He first drew on his eyebrows when he first took a nap on the floor as a kid, and his brothers tried to prank him by drawing eyebrows on his mask while he slept, but when he found it, he actually thought it looked kinda cool, sure, it needed some tweaking, but he loved it and started doing it ever since

Everytime Leo complains about how big Donnie's eyebrows are, he draws them on twice as big the next day to spite him

Terrible sleep schedule, his brothers have to drag him to bed, which he refuses often, but he can't go against his brothers

Literally addicted to Monster energy drinks, especially the Purple and White ones (I've tried so many monsters, and I feel like Donnie would like these two the best)

Hates sour stuff, and Spicy stuff, but he Loves savory stuff and salty stuff

[After Krang]

Major PTSD

Is alot more panicky about his Softshell

Being ripped out of the Krang ship controls messed with parts of his brakn

Now he gets these motor tics, and often verbal tics, he also has even more trouble with being relaxed and sleeping (since his brain was in a relaxed state when it was controlling the ship, his brain is afraid to let him be relaxed in case of being damaged again.), And more emotional outbursts, which is the most concerning to his brothers since often he doesn't show much emotions

Goes quiet for a long while, and Shelldon and his family have to bring him food

Often is accompanied by Shelldon more often

Shelldon has to talk for him for a while

Lots of nightmares of his body being torn apart when the Krang ripped him out of the machine, and nightmares of his family being hurt

Stops making machines for a long time

Sleeps with his battle shell on for a long while

He runs a lot of tests on his brothers, especially Raph because he's scared that it might have long lasting affects on them, thankfully nothing physically, besides broken bones, but he was very startled to realize all of his brothers got PTSD from the whole thing

Since he's a boxshell turtle, he doesn't have webbed feet, meaning it's a lot harder for him to swim so he doesn't really like swimming or water in general

Is very surprised with himself after he THEW A LITERAL SKYSCRAPER

After he made the portal, he gained the ability to hover around without touching the ground (Future Mikey is shown to do this)

His brothers are at first scared that Mikey can literally just float around when he wants to

But Mikey doesn't like to do it often, he mostly only does it when his legs are to tired, when he isn't paying attention and it activates by itself, and when he is thrown into battle

Cried a lot of tears when it was all over

Stays in his shell alot more and thinks

Starts sleeping in his shell again and it takes a while for him to get out more

Hi more Scribbles Rambling time <;3 Seems I can only ever come up with ideas for him when its super early in the Morning.

I've been thinking about how he looked as a 'toon' and what 'his' cartoon was like lately. Here's just some thoughts I've been havin:

-I'm thinking as a 'toon' he's pretty small. Maybe around 3ft tall/barely 4ft tall maybe. I want his height- and just appearance in general as a toon, to sort of be a clear, stark difference between how he looks once he gets out of the tv. Like he goes from being that small to basically being 7ft tall.

His toon design is pretty simple, But cute. Am either imagining him kind of having, paw like hands- or gloved hands, leaning a lil more to the paw hands I think- And he has boots! Has 6 axolotl 'frills' on his head, 3 on either side. Maybe somethin like curly hair? not sure on that- N has a axolotl like tail. He isn't from a 'game' but his 'idle' as a toon is him rocking himself forward and back on the toes to the heel of his boots.

I kind of have a specific idea of how the cartoon is animated, Sort of like: These two videos(warning 4 horror in them its from a ARG.). Just the vibes, the movement of the character, The way Fuzz speaks too maybe, maybe how he speaks in the cartoon?? Just kinda how expressive it is!

Really just want the cartoon to be like, Bouncy- Kinda wacky, cartoon from the early 2000s but still sorta looks like its animated like in those two videos kinda? Perhaps takes a lil inspiration from 1930s toons too. Has all the big things from older toons, Like Slapstick comedy, gags and Hijinks, just physic breaking n so forth. But its stylized for the more modern time period.

The cartoon itself is very lighthearted, Has lil songs throughout it- It's heartwarming and cute! Sunshine and Rainbows, Bright colors- Fast paced Music.(that gets so annoying and grating when you hear it for so long- and you have to sing the same damn songs over and over and over and ove-)

Anyways, all I got at the moment but I'm rotating this all sm in my Head.

Y/n's Pov

Breakfast.. was awkward.

And when I say awkward I mean, really awkward.

From the small glances, blushes and smiles exchanged between Edmund and I, to Peter sending occasional smirks in both our directions and Susan and Lucy letting out giggles here and there. Just us being completely flustered.

Lucy had told me to talk to him to which I had stared in horror, thinking of the million ways I could embarrass myself in front of him.

I was just too shy.

The shyness actually increasing the more Peter shot me teasing looks everytime I'd try to look at Edmund.

"So, y/n.." Oh great.

"Yes Peter?"

"How's your morning?" he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

I cleared my throat, "umm well its umm.. it's good. And you?"

"Oh yes. Splendid. How about you Ed?"

Ed looked like he was going to pounce on Peter. He shrugged in reply, catching my eye for a second. But honestly speaking, that second felt like an hour. It felt like time had stopped. It always did. Of course when it's him.

He turned attempting to hide the blush that began to run across his face. That, obviously not going unnoticed by Peter and I.

After waiting for a while, Peter decided to break the silence, "alright then.. I suppose we ready ourselves now, to get y/n home." He sent me a warming smile which I gladly returned.

One by one everyone left the room, that including Edmund of course. Him sending me a shy smile and disappearing into his room.

Peter's Pov

Mind sickening.. that's what it was.

Not searching for y/n's house.. but the awkwardness in the air. Let me emphasise that. IT WAS SO THICK. The 'couple in progress', being the cause of it.

I had noticed all the failed attempts since we left the house.

How Edmund tried to go up and make conversation with y/n, only to chicken out the next second. Y/n on the other hand, speed walking away from him.

At this point, Edmund was staring her down like a hawk. Literally.

We had been walking for a while now.

Y/n remembered how to get back rather well, just not so clearly. So we had to stop a couple of times for her to familiarise, or ask about.

Susan, Lucy and y/n walking infront of us while Edmund and I were following closely behind.

I eyed Edmund again. Yes. He was in his own world. It was rather amusing to see him like this.. but at the same time, a part of me just wanted to smack some sense into him and get him to man up.

Walking closer to Edmund, I attempted to nudge him, but instead elbowed him. A little too hard. My bad.

"ASLAN!" he shrieked, earning a bunch of looks in our direction. The girls looking back at us in alarm too.

Edmund's ears turned a bright red. "What was that for?!" he scowled at me.

"I'm sorryyy!!"

Rubbing his side he sighed, "well.. what did you elbow me for?"

I rolled my eyes. Sassy pants. "I wanted to tell you, to you know.. go talk to-"

"Guys, I think we're close now!" y/n exclaimed grabbing Edmund's attention immediately.

"Later," he mumbled. I sighed watching Edmund proceed after them.

"Really? Are you sure?" Lucy questioned, with a slight tone of excitement.

"Yes, I'm sure! It's all clear now.. I remember running out from..." she dragged, "HERE!" she picked up her pace and took a turn down a road ahead of us.

We ran after her, only to see her standing in front of a house with her eyes wide open and her mouth slightly parted.

"Is this it?" Lucy ran upto her, grabbing onto her arm in the process. The excitement evident on the two's faces when they looked at eachother.

She turned back to me nodding her head with a look of excitement, "I'm home.." I motioned for her to proceed in response.

She slowly made her way to the doorstep. Standing there in silence for a while, she placed her hand on the doorknob trying to open it. Only, she turned back in frustration.

Y/n's Pov

I walked upto the doorstep. Taking in a breath I placed my hand on the doorknob.

It's locked. I furrowed my eyebrows. I don't remember locking the door behind me that day.

Finally Edmund spoke up, "what's wrong? Is this the wrong house?"

She shook her head, "no, no.. its just that.. its locked? I-I don't remember locking it the day I left."

Susan looked at me in confusion.

Edmund now coming beside me, "maybe there's someone inside?" he rang the doorbell.

No response.

Ugh. Was I wrong? Oh no. As if I hadn't given the Pevensie's enough of work already. I couldn't be more stressed. My mind was literally everywhere. I couldn't focus. A stray tear leaving my eye, I quickly wiped it away. Not wanting the others to see.

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked at Edmund he smiled at me softly, "it's okay love.. don't worry, I'm here" He pulled me into his arms.

He stroked my hair gently. I layed my hands on his chest, pushing him away, "Edmund, I'm so sor-"

The door opened, "Y/N?!"

I widened my eyes in shock, "Y/F/N!!!"

Pulling away from Edmund's hold, I faced her completely only to get tackled into a hug.

Edmund backed away with a laugh.

"Oh my God! Y/N!! I was so worried! Where were youuu?!" she pulled away from me scanning my entire body.

"I.. umm it's.. it's a long story love.." I looked behind her and into my house. "When did you get here??"

She looked at me in confusion and widened her eyes in realisation. She laughed, "well, I had gone with my parents on a sudden family trip. I couldn't text you sooner because I the signal was just terrible. But when I was finally able to get better connection and texted you, I didn't get any replies."

Ah yes... I had left my phone at home.

"I got super worried since you weren't picking up my calls nor answering my messages. So since I had come home yesterday.. I decided to you know.. come by today, only to find the door unlocked and you nowhere to be seen."

Oh the guilt. Not only had I troubled Edmund and his siblings, but also my best friend.

"Gosh I'm so sorry I worried you. I-I'll explain everything that happened.. just- just give me a minute."

I turned around to face the Pevensie's, "I'd like you to meet my friends, the Pevensie's.. Edmund, Peter, Susan and Lucy, this is my best friend y/f/n.."

Y/f/n sent them a small wave, which the Pevensie's gladly returned.

"W-would you like to come inside?" I asked hoping they'd say yes.

Lucy jumped in excitement tugging at Peter's shirt sleeve, "can we?"

Peter smiled at her softly, "as much as we'd love to, I suppose it's time we go home." Lucy's smile dropped. "Mother is coming home today remember? So, another time for sure?" he looked at me.

Honestly I was a little disappointed. But he was right.. they could always come by. I nodded my head giving him a smile. Peter gave me a warming smile in return.

I looked at Edmund clearing my throat I began, "I owe you all a lot.. thank you so much for getting me home. I'm not just saying this, I mean every single word. I truly appreciate everything you've done for me the past few days. You're welcome to come by whenever." He gave me a soft smile, nodding.

"Your welcome. But you really don't need to thank us, it's what friends are for," Peter ruffled my hair.

"Can we come by some time Pete? We don't live that far apart either.." Lucy turned to him giving him puppy eyes.

"Of course we can Lu.."

Lucy squealed running upto me and into my embrace, "come by and visit us too, will you?"

"Definitely Lu," I swung her a little in my arms. We pulled apart breaking into a fit of giggles. Susan giving me a hug right after.

I finally turned to Ed.

Cue the blushing.

He gave me a soft smile, "I- umm.." he cleared his throat looking around nervously. Probably unsure of what to say.

I couldn't help but giggle. Cute.

He furrowed his eyebrows, a playful smile forming on his face, "what's so funny?"

I shook my head, "oh nothing.." I fought back the urge to laugh. Going upto him I pulled him into a hug, "you don't have to be so nervous you know?"

His chest rumbled with laughter, slowly wrapping his arms around my waist. He laid his chin on my head. "I'm going to miss you.." he whispered.

"This isn't goodbye silly," I slapped his arm gently letting out a laugh.

"I know, I know.. its just.. it's not going to be the same at home without you."

My heart fluttered at his words. Of course I'm going to miss living under the same roof as him, "well you heard me before.. you can come visit whenever."

He hugged me tighter humming in agreement. Finally after what seemed like an hour, we pulled apart.

"Well then, we'll be off now," Susan smiled at me. "It was nice meeting you, y/f/n."

"You too.." Y/f/n shook hands with them, going back inside. We bid eachother goodbye.

"Come visit us soon!" Lucy yelled. I laughed, "see you soon Lu!!"

Edmund gave me a small smile, waving his hand at me. I sent him a soft smile in return. Turning to face my house I sighed.

Wish there was a little more to it than that.

Just as I was about to go back inside, I heard footsteps behind me and soon I felt a hand grab onto my wrist.

Turning around I met those eyes. Those eyes that I always tend to get lost in.

"Edmund what are yo-"

Everything happened so fast I couldn't even process what was happening anymore.

He cupped my face, placing his lips on mine. Cue the sparks of electricity. Just like how we shared our first kiss. But this time, it was just us. It was as if time had stopped around us.

He snaked an arm around my waist, pulling me closer until there was absolutely no space between us. I wrapped my arms around his neck, slowly running my hands through his hair.

He sighed into the kiss, tilting his head a little to deepen it. The kiss was slow but passionate. Passionate enough to show me how he felt the last couple of days.

I couldn't believe this was actually happening.

Eventually we pulled apart catching out breath. Leaning his forehead against mine, he let out a laugh.

"Well that was..." I began.

"Amazing," we said in unison.

I giggled.

"You don't know how long I've been waiting to do that.." he pecked my lips once again.

"Let me guess.. since yesterday? If I'm not wrong, I remember you kissing me back then too," I teased.

At this his face flushed a bright pink

"Well that was not how I wanted it to go initially.. I wa- oh you know what I mean!" he snapped jokingly.

I laughed.

"Y/n.." he cupped my cheeks once again. "I know it's only been a couple of days. But I honestly have never been so happy. Each and everytime, just one look at you and I'd be smiling like.. like oh gosh I can't even find the words to explain," he let out a low laugh shaking his head.

I couldn't stop smiling.

"I want to be here for you everyday. To listen to your worries, to make you happy. I want you to know, I'm always here for you, no matter what."

His gaze softened, "I really, really like you y/n.. heck no, what am I even saying? I'm so in love with you y/n! W-would you let me court you?"

I nodded my head at the verge of crying happy tears. He picked me up hugging me and slowly swinging side to side.

"I love you too Ed.. I really do," he showered my face with kisses and finally placed a chaste kiss on my lips.

"I can finally call you mine.. you don't know how happy I am right now."

"I bet I do.. trust me, I'm just as happy as you are," I giggled.

He rolled his eyes playfully, nuzzling his head in the crook of my neck. Placing a kiss there, "Eddd that ticklesss!" I whined.

Our moment interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat.

We pulled apart only to see Peter smirking at us. With Lucy and Susan staring in awe from behind.

"It was about time," Lucy giggled.

"Ooh I didn't know their was a couple amongst us.." y/f/n entered the scene curious to know what was taking me so long.

"Oh Aslan..." Edmund sighed.

"Guess we're going to have to deal with two Peter's now," I laughed. Edmund raised his eyebrows. "Well, as long as you're with me, I'll learn how to deal with it," he winked at me. "Always," I nodded my head, "and forever" he mumbled.

"Oh my God, when did Ed get so cheesy?" Peter groaned in the background.

The others laughed. While Ed nuzzled his head back into my neck, me stroking his hair.
