This is actually the last straw for me bc one of my fav mutuals on there and like one of the few ppl I got close to when i started using Tumblr for that fandom, I went thru their blog today and turns out they're a fucking proshipper this whole time and I never knew, they reblogged posts that defend proshippers. I'm so done man, I want to expand my art blog and talk to people but it makes me sick that my art for this fandom could be consumed by people who look at actual incest and think fiction doesn't affect reality when they already dumbed down an incredibly abusive dynamic to uwu twincest. It feels so gross, like I end up feeling like I'm somehow supporting this by staying in the fandom and making art.

Daemon is ultimately right. Thing is we know how the story plays out so he can’t possibly know the true consequences of his actions. But in sending B&C, he actually caused several things to happen that weakened the Greens. In this episode alone, the assassination led to Aegon pissing off the smallfolk for inflicting collective punishment, making a lunatic his chief advisor and dismissing Otto who was definitely making smart plays for the most part.

I mean, I think that you could have done something with the death of Aemond, the primary target of that plan? And what exactly was he right about, that violence against the greens was necessary? Because with his characterization of seemingly being more loyal to/prioritizing Viserys than Rhaenyra or seeking Viserys' approval over his own family's safety as the show changed from the original really redefines the lines here. Now Rhaenyra has a real reason to believe he isn't as dedicated or trustworthy, apart from how she believed he was so back in S1 E7.

You could argue that she spent too long apart from him to know the "real" him and just misconstrued his character and that she didn't know the "real" him as a teenager. And you could say that she was right to conclude that he used her against Viserys even in the canon with the brothel moment, that he mostly wanted her for access to the throne and not for her herself. You'd be welcome to that conclusion, esp with how he's written in the show and how we don't have any insight into their life at Dragonstone with their new family that the showrunner also have divided by sending Baela off to Driftmark 🙄. Plus how this Rhaenyra simply is not the same Rhaenyra of canon--proud, little more than a "little" vain, defiant, self-interested, etc., uncaring of others' thoughts of her unless in a practical bent (thus I'm not really mad abt there being an argument at all, but what was argued about and the motivations for thinking as such).

Except that in canon, there's a lot more room to suspect that Daemon wasn't using her as what she claims is to get back his "stolen inheritance" and do whatever he wanted behind her back. Rhaneyra did seem to be emotionally distant or angry with Daemon in canon for a bit, having realized that he used her to get back at Viserys and a little bc Viserys caused Mysaria to miscarry what would have been Daemons first child as well as having otherwise distanced himself from Daemon for Otto's "advice". But after Daemon has his family with Laena, Rhaenyra and Laena become friends, Rhaenyra sees Daemon in this new role....they reconcile. There's really little room to say Rhaenyra still didn't think him trustworthy as to allow him to be her husband and allow him around her first 3 kids, which makes show!Rhaenyra a little...not smart.

There are a lot more of us than I realized, haha! Also, thank you for enjoying our fics! Even though we're not on the Jasonnie fixation as of late, it's always really fun to hear everyone else enjoying these dorks!

As for your question: Personally, I adore the Autistic!Donnie Headcanon and write him autistic in all my stories, intentional or not! Parallel play is definitely something they both just clicked on without having to say a word throughout the entirety of their relationship.

In our fics, Jason grew up in a household that disregarded his existence in nearly every sense of the word. So, after they get along and spend most of their time together? Jason enjoys it when they're doing their own things, sharing space since it's so similar to what he's used to while also being everything he's never given freely. Jason's used to blending into the background and not disturbing those around him. But with Donnie, he actually gets to share the space, to co-exist with him without fear that he's being too much or doing too little. There's no need to overanalyze and second-guess things.

Donnie's family has definitely existed in spaces together, especially when Donnie is working. But there's a significant difference between your siblings trying to help out, asking what you're doing, and getting you to build something for them, and when a kid simply blends into the space like nothing has changed. It's not like his family is constantly obnoxious, but brothers can sometimes be like that. Plus, Jason's smart, he shares the same level of knowledge with Donnie even if it isn't in the same subjects or skills, but he still blends in with Donnie's world instead of sticking out against it like his family does, if that makes sense?

It's like a mix of comforts and mutual unsaid understandings between them. They know how this shared space goes, and they both enjoy how the other exists naturally, so it's like a safe little bubble that they can get wrapped up in sometimes.

I would probably have more Jason and Autistic!Donnie Headcanons to share, but honestly, most of my Autistic!Donnie Headcanons are for my other fic series, and I have yet to think about these boys through that lens in a hot minute! (Any Autistic!Donnie-related Jasonnie ideas that are floating in my head are from the amazing people on the Jasonnie Discord Server and not my own.)

But a scene I think about a lot is Donnie and Jason cooking together. The two of them bond over their Asian Cultures, sharing their foods with each other, especially modified ones, to ensure the taste and texture doesn't disturb or overstimulate Donnie.

Also! Jason knowing his meltdown routine after a year of them being together is definitely something that delights me to no end. Knowing that when you're in that place and know you have someone you can trust to know exactly what you need and always try and follow that for you no matter how worried or hurt they may be in that moment? Because your health comes first, and they understand that? That everything that may have happened before can always be dealt with later? Fucking masterful; it means everything to me.

hi! i'm the person who sent the first 'active choice' anon but i actually didn't send the second one (though i do agree with that person completely - i think it would show huge character growth for mike to actively decide to be with will). i also sent you this ask abt the monologue a few days ago btw!!

i just wanted to say that the ask reminded me of a lot of gay!mike talking points about el which say something about how mike actively choosing will over el would insinuate that there's something inherently unlovable about el and i....really do not vibe with that take.

(i don't have a problem with gay!mike, i just feel like this one specific idea is kind of a shitty thing to say and is a tad misogynistic)

imo mike and el breaking up and mike choosing to be with will does not mean that el isn't lovable or that there's something 'wrong' with her as a person, it just means that she and mike are not compatible as a couple, and this is true on both ends - mike is not a good bf to her and el isn't a good gf to him. neither one of them is a bad person, they just don't work romantically (similar to jncy/stncy where steve is a fantastic guy but not the right fit for nancy at all).

also, for someone like el who is still figuring out her identity as a person, breaking up with someone at 14 is not the end of the world, especially since the narrative seems to imply that independence is what she needs and where she's headed in the future. in fact, i think she will be the one to point out that mike isn't loving her the way that she wants to be loved and they will mutually break up once mike finds out the truth about the painting. i don't think there's going to be any real bad blood there bc imo el already accepted that mike doesn't make her feel loved in 4x03. she'll be sad about the breakup ofc, but it's not going to be crushing for her and she'll get to focus on building her platonic relationships with hopper, the byers family, lucas & dustin, max when she wakes up, and (hopefully) mike too.

That's all I can really say to that point, this all really just depends on what's going on in El's head, which we don't know either.

I definitely don't think that Mike choosing Will over El insinuates that El is unlovable. I hope I haven't said anything that has come off that way because I don't think that at all. I just think that rejection will always make a person doubt themselves, that's just human nature.

By the same token, I don't think that Will should need Mike to choose him to prove to him that he is loveable!

They're all loveable. They're all worthy of love. Full stop. Mike Wheeler's affections don't determine Will or El's worth.

I realize we're talking in the sense of Will simply feeling unworthy and the idea of Mike choosing him alleviating that self doubt. But Will shouldn’t rely on Mike loving him in order to feel worthy of love. Not to say that he shouldn't accept Mike's love, I'm just saying he needs to work on himself as well. (As does Mike! For the same reasons!)

So I'm not in love with the idea that Mike choosing Will gives Will the self worth he needs and therefore that's what makes the most sense narratively. Will shouldn't need Mike. He loves Mike, and that's beautiful. He shouldn't need him, not in a literal sense. It's a flaw just as Mike's need to be needed is a flaw. Both are flaws which are hurting them, and they need to be addressed in ways other than just dating each other. Like. In therapy.

Lastly, as I said, whether Mike is bi or gay, choosing to be with Will is still choosing to be with Will. Which is meaningful. It's very meaningful. I just don't think Will's arc should be relying on that specific sentiment.

yk what, i wasnt thinking of impulse angst while writing this but we can make it happen. in my mind, impulse hasnt really noticed he might like bdubs... until suddenly he sees him with etho and uh oh whats this awful feeling??? >:3

tbh i didnt mean to imply TOO hard that bdubs and etho were actually Together together. joel only perceives it that way bc well,, jealousy and bitterness LOL. in my mind bdubs was kinda trying to comfort etho and etho kinda clung onto that due to being lonely. seeing joel is sort of a turning point for bdubs where he realizes that being this close actually does more harm than good for etho. and hey... who better to pick up the pieces of THAT mess than impulse!!!

in my mind their breakup was mutual, but in a very explosive kind of way. they would get into a lot of fights and eventually one of them snapped and said they should break it off, and the other agreed. of course, they didnt realize how good they BOTH had it until after the breakup. their main problem imo (along with the bdubs thing) would be etho being too shut off and joel picking fights about it all the time... nothing communication cant fix though right??? right????

as for what happens after.... i mean hey. who knows. surely not the person who wrote it, right??? LMAO but in all seriousness, they probably both need to work on it alone before thinking of being together again. very much a right person, wrong time kinda situation. if i DID write a sequel (and honestly i might!!) itd probably be more focused on that.... hopefully with a happy ending :3
