I'm gonna put all of my yapping + bonus stuff under the cut, because it's a lot lol. (there's concept art, mini comic, and a drabble, if you wanna skip the yap)

Firstly, I really need to give a huge special thank you to my bff, who has helped me with decisions and just cheering my on throughout this whole project, ily my liege!! <3 And to pejaposarambi who offered his help near the end, when I was losing my mind and gave me SUCH good tips to help me complete this!! Seriously, thank you both so much omfg!!TTATT

So, I tried my best to incorporate a few of the asked prompts: fairytale, fantasy, hurt/comfort or angst with a happy ending (more implied/vague, in this case), soulmates, a bit of 'they're a fantastical beast that can hurt the other' vibe, and something sweet where they're kinda comforting each other? Idk, but I tried aha.

For the fairytale and fantasy, I gave them original designs to fit the theme of both. The whole angst/hurt is more implied, but I tried to convey a bit of a story here; where Keith's sword is wrapped in broken chains, after helping free Shiro, and they're comforting each other.

The soulmates is implied from the stars. Their zodiac constellations (Scorpio & Pisces), are mapped in the sky together, along with their respective planets (Mars, Jupiter, Neptune). I wasn't sure how to place soulmates persay, but I think its romantic and conveys it pretty well. And the water is also representative to their signs too, aha!

The fantastical beast part is me really pushing it lol. But often times, dragons and unicorns are seen as like, enemies or hurt one another in a lot of stories. So I was going for a bit of that here. + their designs kinda resemble prickly thorn vs softie? Yea, I know, ya gotta squint for this part of the theme but I tried.xDD /also has a nice dark vs light theme hehe.

Some quick lore 'cause why not: when Keith was younger, he was going to die (idk, abandonment? defeat during battle? Saving Shiro? idk), but Shiro saved his life, using his tears. Keith was deeply touched, as it was the first time he experienced kindness? Idk. But when Shiro had to eventually leave, he swore to himself he'd repay him one day. Fast forward, and the king Keith is forced to serve, has captured a rare unicorn, that could give him eternal life using his tears? Or force Shiro to take him to eternity/paradise? Idk. Keith fought through hell and back to eventually help free Shiro (breaking the chain), and the two managed to escape, fleeing to a peaceful place where they can be together. Yea, there's a lot of "idk's" and big holes there, but I've yapped TOO MUCH.TT.TT

(Also, can I just say PLEASE. If this had an OST, I'd say the Galaxy Express 999 OST would be it for me. But for this illustration in particular, this song is doing it for me.)

So uhhh, this was a *journey*. I think I've been working on this for over 2 months now? A lot of thought went into it. I only do this level of planning when it's a huge project, and I typically don't share my thumbnails and concepts; because they're garbage and only meant for me. But I figured it could be fun for others to see lol.

For the design, I had a good idea of the theme at least! I wanted to have Keith's design to really resemble a dragon, while also using some elements from his BOM outfit. I leaned into the purple because I like purple, but wondering if I should have gone red. Hmmm. I tried to make him look as intimidating and prickly as I could; almost like if you were to touch him, you'd get pricked like a thorn.:-3

For Shiro, I went with looser clothes; kinda inspired by ancient Greek fashion and gods. I rushed his more, and ended up not having the time + energy to put in all the details I wanted for him.:-( I kept his clothes and hair all white/silver, to make him look like he came from the stars. His jewellery is gold + blue to relate to his zodia planets aha. I was gonna have him have longer bangs, but decided against it as I inked.

Anyways, I wanted the pose to be the same as “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt. But uhh, once I got all the designs done, and actually started sketching things out; I just couldn't get it to work. I am still disappointed in myself for that, but I had to move on and find ways to make things work. I guess that's part of the process. How humbling.=_=

I don't have too many progress shots, because I suck with that; but here's a few lol.

And then a bonus comic, because I couldn't stop thinking this throughout this entire project.xD Where the real angst lies.

I also wrote a teeny, tiny drabble. It's kinda trash and superrr corny, sorry;;; I wrote it in like, an hour or something with very little editing. But I wanted to I guess explain a bit of the story, in this particular scene specifically. Idk. Sorry to those who can actually write it's terrible;;;

So that's the end! I really tried my best to cram as many prompts into one; I know I changed the designs a lot, but I hope they still look recognizable. I still feel disappointed with myself, because it didn't come out exactlyyy how I envisioned. There were so many bumps along the way, I wish I could have done better. Still, there were fun moments (when it wouldn't slow down my PC lol). I tried out so many techniques, both old and new; it was quite the experience! I'm especially proud with some of the effects and texturing. And I hand-drew soooo many elements. Like, I could have used a pre-made grass brush for ex. But nope! Drew each blade of grass like a loser.=_= (but was worth it; was able to preserve the *crunch*)

And yea, don't expect this level of detail from me often. This is a once every few years kinda piece lol. Usually my stuff is pretty wonky and rushed. But I was happy to work on such a big project after so many years!!

A cycle has just been completed in terms of love and romance and either you or someone else did not this to happen. They're almost like, dramatic about that.someone involved , you or someone connected to yourself somehow, is overly focused on love and it stresses them out and it feels extreme though I can't pick up on any situation extreme enough to justify this. Someone could have insomnia and or hair loss you could also possibly see someone's tiredness in their eyes. Someone's money might be affected. I keep picking up on a a group of, as in multiple, people. Either someone here is polyamorous and if that's the case it has something to do with denial about something or the want to be in control of something or someone, or for others there's a group of people you're dealing with and they're "heated " about something . I also heard " eyeing you" who the hell uses phrases like this if you know that's a confirmation for ya. You have a group of people somewhat obsessed they seem like obsessed people in general they may be obsessed with something to do with you or just you, I'm also picking up on one individual who has something to do with you that (is very weird, and the groups I'm picking up on more or less give me weird vibes,) well connected to this person I'm getting something about childhood and I'm seeing candy this is really weird and I just involuntarily made an angry or confused look with my eyebrows you know I pushed them down I don't know why. This person may have known you for a long time or thinks they do or something idk this is super strange g make sure you're not overly trusting of every single person ever in your life you know. Someone also could be trying to take something that isn't theirs. Lock your doors , literally. Wow.sorry y'all . Genuinely. I also am somehow picking up on someone's long straight hair and something about glitter. I also saw a purple dress.

Group Two

You guys are easily manipulated and people who are going to want to manipulate you can notice this probably way more than you can about yourself also someone needs to not bite their fork when they take a bite of food it's bad for your teeth I don't know how or why that would come up for me to say sorry. Somebody needs to literally or metaphorically open a window. Um you're on the path to love and it will happen exactly when it's supposed to how it's supposed to with who it's supposed to and honestly unless you really go out of your way you may not have any romance at all until then even if that isn't what you want like for some reason I guess it depends but either your soul wants people in the meantime or you want someone sooner or what I don't know it just don't work like that though you know. I'm generally getting like if you're the type to hope your person isn't with anyone else before they meet you then this is probably for you also. Or your person is like this and I guess they are somewhat powerful cause therefore that's the way it's gonna be and in the meantime I guess you're gonna have to be solo. Somehow this seems better and more productive for your personal development than learning by Interacting with other people and being with "karmics" and stuff.

Group Three

I'm seeing two energies that are basically, literally, nothing alike. Yet somehow they're paired up. You're with this person right now in the past or future or you wanted or want to be with them lol. Some of you it's your soulmate ,though and that's really special and actually really cool and refreshing. Like 99% of you are supposed to at least at one point be with someone like this to you. Or for like very few of you this is just about your signs like fire and water but I really doubt that's as far as it goes you are probably very different either way. You guys are very deep and cool refreshing people very beautiful , good listeners and balanced. Someone has ADHD or something else so you might doubt the good listener thing I'm getting but I think you pay attention to detail or something like somehow this is still infact accurate and you may be don't see it about yourself . I think you all are very deep mentally and have a deep capacity to hold a lot lot lot of information, knowledge, wisdom, n stuff. A lot of people might be drawn to you or notice you and also possibly a lot of different types of people as something about you a lot of different people can still connect with somehow. Yeah also someone's a hater here though and they might tease you with something somehow so I really hope you stay aware of that possibility, realize this about whoever they are and stand up for yourself basically I feel like you have the potential to retaliate and as long as it is nothing illegal I kind of feel like saying I want you to . ????????? I don't know o feel like it would be really satisfying maybe to your guides or it is when you do, fight back or argue cause you're good at it and it would not be easy to win against you or come up with any comeback especially if you plan something. Wow. Hahaha. I'm leaving it here.

I heard desperado and I know three songs called that well two are just remixes of the og you could look up the og or the Mike bars desperado lol . Or just the word maybe is significant, goes with your picture anyway. I feel like most of you that will hear the song will just like the song lol . I can dig it

Group Four

There was a conditional love given and when this was taken away it had someone really stressed out and hurt. Someone was being a complete dick that was giving love conditionally and then stopped . I feel like the shit they do or say is old as f... Like it's ugly and getting old man anyway. This very well could be past energy like long long ago for some of you. This person might have lied. They might be selfish. They may be downplaying your come up or they will when you do come up. Or some , even saying you don't deserve it but I'm being shown you very clearly do. Like this person only gets dustier through time nobody is ever gonna pick up this old kick knack and undust them theyre old and lame. I'm picking up on like, when people say the type of person that peaked in high school. Yeah so this person has their qualities but eventually everyone's like ok whatever yawn. They're definitely super greedy as I just got a card saying " GREED " lol. In terms of future love y'all will be good I'm picking up generally most of you just need to become more comfortable within yourself first and I'm picking up on like cozy night chilling and watching movies and stuff by yourself or with a pet even a friend but you get me just learning to be content also and have good times like that without the need for someone else romantically. Either way somehow some time after you get into that energy a person will come along softly and surely and it will be really nice and happy . Around that time maybe shortly after you will have something happen positive when it comes to work or their work . I also channeled the movie my big fat Greek wedding as I was channeling this last part haha so I thought I should mention that, I know I'm partially Greek and always loved that movie. Someone might like telling stories ? But yeah in the movie she has a glow up and then she sees this guy she thought was cute again and things just worked out and he asked her out and they fell in love it was just simple smooth and sweet and the timing matched up with what I said may happen for you so that's really cute y'all stay hopeful and focus on relaxation. And for some of you if you know this is true though also studying .

Because I'm bored, here's a definitive rating of canon and non-canon ships across my works!

(Based on what people have told me they shipped and what I think would be funny)

Starting with my big two canon ships:

Astra/Mashal - This is my ultimate otp, the one I wrote a whole trilogy for. They're fucking adorable together, in all their chaos/calm glory. 10/10 imo, they make each other want to be better people.

Nyda/Kaulakri - My lesbian scientist ghosts, how could I not love you? True rivals to lovers, they get on each others nerves as much as they admire each other. 9/10, only because I haven't actually gotten to a confession scene yet.

Short list, huh? That's why we've got non-canon:

Ivander/Mashal - The foils are foiling. Something, something, Mashal makes Ivander remember the world can be kind and Ivander is someone Mashal wants to protect. 7/10, it's good...

Astra/Ivander/Mashal - But it could be better! Astra adds in a note of tension with Ivander and a note of sweetness because she understands Mashal better than Ivander does. This ship is just Mashal and his two partners who kinda hate each other, 8/10.

Astra/Ivander - Without Mashal as a buffer, they're gonna tear each other into ribbons. 4/10, it'd be fun to watch.

Sepo/Izjik - No, pass, skip. I know they're soulmates but they've got more of a blood brothers vibe than anything. That said, they would totally get married for tax reasons, so 2/10.

Djek/Daedryn - I know she kidnapped him but she said sorry. The street rat/priest vibes would be funny, he'd take her out to a casino and she'd get tempted to cheat at cards them immediately pray for forgiveness. 5/10 because in all universes, Djek has no game.

Izjik/Daedryn - I know she kidnapped her too, but godkiller/priest?? The angst is baked in. Also, Izjik knows Daedryn is easily flustered, so she's just teasing her the whole time. 7/10 for doomed lesbians.

Elsind/Avymere - Hard no. Elsind might be deeply involved in Avymere's love life, but they're besties. Honestly, I can see them in a qpr as the years go on, they're very close. 10/10 for the qpr, 0/10 for anything romantic.

Daedryn/Loqang - For an antagonist/secondary protag, Daedryn sure ends up in a lot of ships. Loqang is her god so... No? There is a deep and passionate love there, beyond anything platonic or familial, but it's not really romantic either, more of a secret fourth thing. 4/10 for anything romantic though, the power dynamic would be kinda fucked.

Anarac/Faalgun - I can see how some people would get these vibes from their casino scene, but if anything, Anarac sees Faalgun as a son-figure and Faalgun sees Anarac as a member of his crew he wants to help out. 1/10 because a rebound might not be bad for Anarac, just not this rebound.

Nyda/Vermir - Canonically, this did happen. Two ambitious scientists who traveled a lot, who were alive in the same time period.... I don't think they had anything more than a fling, but it is fucking hilarious to think about. To be fully for real, Vermir might honestly have been pretty good for Nyda, in the sense of giving her a confident boost for her research. 7/10.

Okay so I am watching BTVS for the first time in my life & I'm currently on season 6 E 14, and one thing I really really love is how Spike is just so...comitted.

With Angel, I personally had the feeling he was grieving the person he could be, all sad and sappy in his misery that kinda clung around him all the time (ik we're calling spike a drama queen but. THAT MAN? Depressed himbo vibes. No offense.) Even though he had a soul, there was this feeling of self pity in him - and it makes sense considering the fact he probably knew that one true moment of happiness would turn him back into a monster, and that is rly depressing tbh.

Does not change the fact that Buffy being underage when being with him is totally absurd and predatory, there, I said it.

He is kind of the big scary monster guy and sometimes she does seem like a normal 16 year old, and by that, naive or simply, young.

It made me feel like she was prey, not gonna lie.

It is what stopped him from truly comitting to Buffy. I mean yeah, their love was pure and they definetely are soulmates in some way. They truly affected each other's fate.

But this is where Spike is different than Angel as well. He is truly COMITTED to what he's doing, he is all in for buffy. Like, the way he offers to make money for her when she needs it? That offer is NOT a deal-kind-of-offer. He truly wants to help her and it is so casually because he already is in full partner mode, in whatever way she needs. Offering comfort when she has to work a double shift (yeah by fucking outside, mkay, just the spuffy way ig) like that because he is actually afraid she will lose her sanity? Even though they drive each other insane? Yeah these scenes are not talked about enough.

In that same scenario, Angel never even would have showed up. He would have waited in front of the building after Buffy ended her shift, maybe. He never even offered to be in her life like that, while both of them found a million excuses for it. But Spike does not. He just simply does stuff that COULD be the solution if he ever even thought of them being a problem.

And I think that is also why he's so pissed about Buffy going on and off about him - to Angel, she seemed so comitted, but to him, he just does not seem to be able to.

And again, it make sense, but I also think we don't talk enough about the fact that Buffy did indeed kill Angel, when it wasn't even necessary as in "he was soulless and a monster" anymore. Even though she loved him. But only when she had a really really good reason/purpose.

So one thing that might be also pushing her away from spike is the thought of having to do that again, and desperately trying to find the purpose without being able to.

He makes her choose wether she wants to be the prey or the hunter in this. On purpose. To show her her options and her power because she never really got to experience both sides / perspectives with Angel OR Riley.

So while she tries to figure out 1. Her reason why she should kill him (which should be a very very valid one so she can bring up the power to do so) 2. Her life's purpose in general, he just ... delivers purpose, not to her, but as in, her being the purpose. That's what he acts like and That's what she can't handle. Yes, she is the reason he is trying to change, but also, he puts her in the Position of being the purpose of him doing that.

Showing her the self responsibility and ability to be her own purpose and make her own decisions. (After her friends all kind of screwed up that kind of SELF responsibility.) He really does man up in this show, and like I said, these are just my thoughts watching it for the first time (did not see angel the series yet).

He is also holding her accountable even though he has a soft spot for her, and she is not used to that. She treats him like a man, yes, but he treats her like an equal as well and always has. She is used being looked down upon by adults or the council, enemies, blablablah, also her friends who "saved" her earlier this season, or being the superslayer hero and leader who has to do everything. She is always in positions. Even with angel, she was, it kind of stopped when they broke up but even then, he treats her like she does not know SHIT. Something is standing between them and always has been, and while Angel kind of used that as an excuse to keep distant and keep their walls up, Spike uses these exact walls as a reason or challenge to tear them down. Spike never acts like things are not his fault even if they are horrible, he just simply accepts his dark side while still having a normal one, with passions on tv and card games and whatever. He *subconciously* takes responsibility even before having a soul, for stuff he did, he doesn't blame his vampire side or whatever for it.

I think in subtext, Buffy always had a slight commitment to angel, as in "maybe, one day, it can still happen" while angel cut off all those hopes for himself (not his desires, maybe. But his ... solution oriented search or smth) as we can see when he visits her at her mom's funeral.

And one other reason why Buffy is so terrified of that whole Spike thing is because it makes her stop that hope for angel or resolve that feeling of being owned by (her feelings for) him.

And don't get me wrong, Spike is kinda possessive too, but as I see it he is trying to commit to a relationship where she can own herself and that is what terrifies her truly.

(That's what we see him do with drusilla from the beginning)

okay so it all starts in esmp s1 where pearl has such heavy sun imagery and gem literally builds a moon so that one is pretty obvious

and when we get to hc s8 they literally have matching horses with gem's being named sun and pearl's being named moon

admittedly, hc s9 is more vibes based, but eleven seem so much more sunny to me in contrast to pearl's alien themeing where a large majority of it was trapped underground. most people just associate moon with darkness, so bam gem is sun and pearl is moon

now esmp s2 and this one is tricker than the others. in my head they are both the sun which is why they practically never interact. it's like trying to connect magnets by both of their north poles

sl is an outlier to me where they break this pattern of one being the moon and one being the sun imo. some people believe that pearl is the sun and gem is a sunflower, but i like to think pearl is simultaneously the sun and the moon with gem being akin to icarus. here is a very non structured brainrot post

we finally get to hc s10, and immediately we are hit with 'morning sunshine' from gem. she wants me dead. but also, building off of that pearl went for a very peaceful farmhouse as her starter base with farming normally being associated with daylight/the sun. we have a dredge theme from gem which has a daylight cycle in it, and during the night is really when you start getting the horrors. she already has touches of that (floating fish), so following the logic of that game she has been fishing at night and thus moon

the part that gets me the most is how consistent the themeing is and just how close both of them are. most smps have pretty good evidence for gem and pearl being connected to the sun and moon with a few outliers (looking at you nlsmp)

now time for the actual theorizing, like i mentioned in the esmp s2 bit, it's almost like the sun and moon are opposite poles of a magnet. i don't believe they are soulmates, they can live without the other, but when they are in proximity, you bet that they will be inseparable

so they both have been represented by the sun and moon, and i propose that pearl is the embodiment of light, while gem is the embodiment of void. why do i think that? well, pearl's is the easiest to explain with her saint pearla stuff and how her named both have aspects of light in it. pearlescent describes the surface of an object, and both being able to see if something is pearlescent and to see the moon requires light to bounce back into your eyes

now gem as the void, hear me out. her constant connection to the end/endermen/ender dragon. also the connections of gem and traveling across worlds where the thing in-between them is void (see s9 botem ending). with the most solid piece of evidence being hc s10 where her themeing is ocean/water horrors. and the most common reason people fear the ocean is how vast and unknowing it is. like a void

this is great and all, but how does it link back up with sun and moon? they are opposites of each other and their sun and moon themeing is just one way that is expressed alongside light and void. because of how different they are, it makes them more attached to each other. something something opposites attract

Wholesome baby man Engie loves affection. Like Spy, he is a gentleman so he won't be too overly affectionate with you when in a public setting. If you choose to love all over him in front of people, he'll get flustered but won't stop it. Definitely loves holding hands. It's simple but gets the message across

B: Best Friend (What would they be like a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Top tier bestie. He never looks down on people for being different and he's such a great support system. The friendship was bound to happen when you meet him due to his kind nature. Bonus points if you are into mechanical stuff as well. You two would be sitting together around some blueprints, trying to create new inventions or build something crazy

C: Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He do be loving some good cuddles. Loves being snuggled up with his partner, just enjoying each other's presence. Likes to be the big spoon. Having his arms wrapped around you, nuzzling up against your neck, enjoying your scent and telling you how much he adores you

D: Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking & cleaning?)

He would like to settle down but kinda feels too old to be settling down. Top tier cooking and amazing at cleaning and organizing. He's the house husband of the mercs, they'd all be nothing without him. But he really is someone worth coming home too. Man's too adorable

E: Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

I'd say he's the most mature about it. He's like Medic where relationships tend to not last long cause of his work and how it tends to be his main focus. He's quick to the point, feeling bad about it but understanding it needs to be done. I'd say it doesn't take him long to recover from it.

F: Fiancé(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Take commitment very seriously. He'd love to be able to get married to the one he considers his soulmate. Engie is someone who'd wait a good few years before considering marriage. He just wants to be sure.

G: Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Definitely the most gentle of all nine mercs. Again, he's a great support system. He's naturally gentle with his pertners, treating them with respect and always trying to be there for them. He's a great person to go to even if you just need to vent. Gives some of the best advice needed

H: Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Loves to give hugs. I'd say he does it often no matter where you are and who's around. He's got them comforting hugs, warm and strong. Man's giving dad vibes off and I'm going with it.

I: I Love You (How fast do they say the L-Word?)

It would take a few months into the relationship for him to say it. He feels he has to say it first since it's the gentlemanly thing to do. He'd wait until you two are all cuddled up for the night before saying it. Absolutely flustered after saying it. Cheeks pink, holding you tighter. Just a cute little moment between the two of you

J: Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

I don't really see Engie as the jealous type. I'll elaborate later but he's someone who has more of a God-complex if anything. Why would you ever wanna settle for less? He knows no one else is on his level and he knows how to treat his partner right. So he never worries about any sort of competiton. But if he were to ever be jealous, he has his ways of taking care of the problem

Cute and wholesome. Loves to give his partner a kiss on the cheek. It's easy for when you guys are both busy and can't stand and talk for a bit. He's one of the first mercs up and ready for the day. He'd have breakfast made, a pot of coffee brewed, and in his workshop tinkering with his inventions. His days are always spent in his workshop, he'd have a seat ready for you so you can hang out with him

Nights are spent trying to get him out of said workshop. He's always couped up in there and loses treack of time. So you'll have to convince him that it's time for bed. He tends to stay on the workshop til he's finished with whatever project he's working on, it's a bad habit of his

O: Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait awhile to reveal things slowly?)

It happens over time, though it doesn't take too long. He likes to tell stories of when he was a child, helping his Father out with building sentries.

P: Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Engie's someone who takes a lot to anger, though he has his moments. The quickest way to anger him is by messing with his stuff. He can't stand when Scout comes into his workshop, looking for something, and then trashes the workshop. He makes Scout clean it up each time while making snide remarks at the youngster

Q: Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every detail in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

You take one look at this man and tell me. This man has, what, like 11 PHDs. Of course he's got a damn good memory. He's got the memory of an elephant, never forgets anything. If he were to not remeber something, it's cause he learned the info when he was drunk. Good luck trying to catch this man lacking cause it almost never happens

R: Remember (What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)

When you two were in his workshop and he was teaching you some of the basics of his inventions. Having you help out a little while he did most of the work. He enjoys spending quality time with his partner. It's the little things that wins his heart over

S: Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

I'd say he's a little more on the protective type. He knows you can take care of yourself but he likes protecting you. It fuels his ego. He'd be such a flustered mess if you protect him. It was something he wasn't expecting so he was thrown so off gaurd. He appreciates it though and make sure to make it up to you for it

T: Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?)

He likes to have quiant little dates. A home cooked dinner, watch a movie while cuddled up, just spending time together. When it comes to gifts, he likes to make them. He feels they matter more when they're made by his own hand

U: Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

It's his God-complex. He thinks he's better than everyone and no one comes near his level of intelligence. And, like the other mercs, he's a bit of a psychopath and you know damn well he could make Saw-esque traps to use out on the battlefield or to "take care" of those who hurt his partner

V: Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Meh, he's too busy with other things. He's just not too worried about his looks when he's inventions to work on. There's not much to say on the matter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

W: Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Meh, he can handle going a while without seeing you. He's use to it. And if the relationship ends, he'll be sad about it for a bit but he'll be fine

X: Xtra (A random headcanon for them)

I really like the idea of Engie being two-faced. Like, he makes himself seem like such a nice guy, but then he's also this cruel, semi-obsessed, deranged man who will gladly make his own Saw traps to torture those who've wronged him or his partner. It makes a good yandere scenario for me

Y: Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

He doesn't like people who think they're better than him. If he were to catch someone messing with his sentries or other inventions, claiming that he did it wrong or they're fixing it, he'd beat them to death with his wrentch. Again, God-complex

Z: Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

Sleep? What sleep? Another one with a fucked sleep schedule. He can't help it. He's the type to be like "just one more (insert thing here)" and then all the sudden instead of it being midnight, it's 3pm and he's missed out on a whole night's sleep and gets yelled at by Medic

Momo and her relationship with other girls in Twice

Hi again! This is a part three of my series of reading about relationship between Twice girls and today's post about Momo. Let's get it start it :)

Disclaimer: it's just for funzies. Don't take it seriously. And never ever make your life choices based on readings. Also I am asking a permission to do readings before even start them in the first place.

Momo x Nayeon

A card: Page of swords

I see now, they were defenetly beefing. Momo sees Nayeon as her enemy or as someone who she can't and should not trust. She sees her as someone who is immature and evil. She thinks of her poorly and thinks that Nayeon is envious of her and toxic. They might even not talk it all through, as the card is telling more about fights but at the same time about mind games. Like they might be talking passive agrassive to each other and trying to mimic their annoynce, but all people around them could feel this heavy and fake energy. Momo views Nayeon as someone who is bratty and like to argue a lot, maybe she was seeing her arguing with other people around too many times. She might respects Nayeon for her strength and straightforwardness, but she thinks she's too much for her. I think she distanced herself from this relationship, that's why Nayeon might feels this kind of nostalgic way about their past and dissopointed in Momo in return.

Momo x Jeongyeon

A card: Lovers

Intresting again. Momo loves Jeongyeon, she feels like they are soulmates and this friendship is the most precious and deep one with girls for her. But as I read Jeongyeon's feelings, I can tell right now it's not mutual. And I guess it's because they are not the same, they are really different people in core and that might be really frustrating from time to time. But anyway Momo thinks highly about Jeongyeon, admiring her and feeling deep trust and devotion for her. For Momo their friendship is full of intense emotions and big challanges. I can tell their friendship was always full of ups and downs, having frustrating fights and difficult choices. But as I see for now Momo will always choose Jeongyeon. And that's beautiful.

Momo x Sana

A card: four of wands

So our J-line is quite happy little folks together :) I am getting kind of fire energy from Sana as it's the second time in a row when I am getting wands for her. They are energetic and full of life together. Momo might thinks that Sana is getting the better out of her. They are loud, happy and just silly when they are together. Sana is her happy pill. They might like to go out together a lot, because it feels so good for Momo. Also I think Momo appreciates Sana's gifts and taste in things. They might like to go shopping together or buy some stuff, decorate things. They give off this kind of early stage of marrige vibe, not gonna lie. Just happy together and do exciting things for the first time, celebrating them with others. I could imagine them going together to the parties also and just wilding there, singing in caraoke and dancing till the sun rise. Very lively and full of passion bond. But again not so deep for Momo right now. I don't see them talking too much or too deeply. This relationship for Momo more about spending time comfortably and happily when they both want it.

Momo x Jihyo

A card: Star

This one is a deep relationship for sure. Momo feels deeply about Jihyo. Maybe even idolizing her and wanting to be like her. She loves her. And that's love is kind of outer space. It's full of trust, devotion, some sort of deep intuitive understanding and longing. But Momo might always feels this distance between them. It might be because of their hierarchy and because Jihyo is her leader, or they might be always on the physical distance (like their schedual is too different and they can't see each other), or there might be always a mental distance between them that Jihyo put between them for some reason.

It's also intresting because the Star is Jihyo's card, symbolizing her (I made a reading about that, asking for a symbol card for all the girls), so I could tell that Momo gets who Jihyo really is, she sees her really well and that might be terrifing and freeing at the same time for Jihyo.

But afterall the card is about this dreamy and beautiful bond full of true love. That's what Momo feels for her leader. She respects her, she puts Jihyo's needs on the pedestal. Their relationship is just beautiful, full of emotions, hopes and dreams. Momo might listens really intensively to what Jihyo thinks and wants, admiring her imagination and creativity. Also this bond might last for a really long time. Momo will always remember about Jihyo. That's a devotion for a life here.

Momo x Mina

A card: two of swords

So not all the J-line getting along, I see. Ahaha They are in kind of strange stage of relationship right now, I guess. Momo doesn't know what to do or how to manage this situation with Mina. She feels uncertain around her. She probably thinks to herself, should I end things with her? Or should I gave her a chance? Is this relationship worth of my time and energy? And she doesn't have answers for her questions. Mina might be too rational for her liking and no fun at all. They might become more of a friends if they both gonna be more rational and cold. But trust is not here. I don't think Momo trusts her and feels like she can relay on her. As I can say they might get along in the future, when they both come to understanding what they both want from each other. I feel they just need to compromise and get it all straight to the point and work hard on this.

Momo x Dahyun

A card: ten of coins

Aww, so cute! Another family bond in Twice. Momo loves her, feeling at home near Dahyun. Their relationship full of happy and calm energy. It's a friendship that feels freeing but at the same time it's full of duty. They care for each other deeply and can talk about anything like in a healthiest relationship ever. It's giving energy when you coming to your friend's place and just can come all over their fridge, eat anything, gossip and yapp about everything that comes to your mind and then watch a Netflix series together in complete silence because you know that you can be just yourself and don't mind anything. It's a wholesome connection full of trust and love that feels like a warm hug. They might enjoy binge watching, eating delicious food, going to the restourants, doing some pottery in home, overall something homey and chill. It's not about going out, more introverted and calm energy.

Momo x Chaeyoung

A card: Tower

Damn... Another one of intense and hard relationship for Momo. They are... intense. It's the heaviest energy. I think they might be in a cold-warm, love/hate relationship lmao Momo thinks of Chaeyoung as a chaos. She's a mess. But that kind of mess might be super attractive for her lol They can hurt each other deeply but also might understand each other like no one ever could. I am sensing some kind of toxic behavior, some cruelty and even self-destraction. They might argue, yell at each other but anyway they are bonding too deeply. They are too deep in this shit. And I think Momo loves it in some sort of way. Living on this kind of edge might make her feel alive, might even inspire her to do better, to go on and on.

Momo x Tzuyu

Another dissopointence and mental pain for Momo. Something is defenetly off and right now she knows what she needs to do. To let go and go away from this relationship as far as she can go. I guess they were pretty close and right now their relationship is dying. Maybe it was a fight or they just outgrow each other and get to the point of not wanting to be together no more as a friends. It might be a cold demenour, like I can see Momo being enthusiastic and wanting to spend time with her, but Tzuyu cancelling their meeting at the last second and telling her off. But good for her, because now she is seeing things clearly and knows that she needs to back off and continue to go further. Show must go on even if it hurts right now.

Prompt 15: Soulmates

Whenever he looked at the palm of his left hand, specifically at the part where it depicted a moon scythe open towards his right hand, Sebastian sighed to himself. Everyone had their soulmates already... Why didn't he? He wanted to be happy as well...

He didn't think his person would be so... problematic, though.

Sebastian had just started at Red Bull after having driven for the sister team Toro Rosso for a good while beforehand - a 22-year-old kid with big dreams and ambitions joining one of the teams in Formula 1.

His teammate? Mark Alan Webber. 33 years old, Australian, two years more experience in the team under his belt than Sebastian possessed.

They never got along too well. Mark didn't seem to like the fact that Red Bull had just hired such an inexperienced little turd in hopes of winning again (as if he wasn't enough already to reach the same goal) whereas Sebastian quickly noticed that Mark didn't seem to like him all too much and thus distanced himself as best as he could.

Until he saw his teammate's hand.

There, right there, on his left palm... was a moon scythe, the open side pointing left. Opposed to Sebastian's moon scythe, which pointed to the right.

Well, fuck. Time for a talk, huh?

With that thought in mind, Sebastian cornered Mark in his motorhome one day, right before a race. They were in Germany, so it was a homerace for Sebastian, and he wanted to set the record straight before jumping into his car to go on and - hopefully - win his homerace.

Mark gave him a dismissive look paired with a quirked eyebrow of disinterest.

"Seb. You're barging into my motorhome without so much as knocking and think that's perfectly alright? What cheek."

Yet Sebastian had none of it and huffed, crossing his arms in front of his chest and straightening his back, trying to make himself look taller than he actually was.

"We need to talk."

The German reached his left hand forward, palm facing the ceiling, and gave Mark an expectant look.

"I saw the marking on your hand a bit ago through chance. It's the opposite of mine - so here I am with mine."

Mark briefly looked at Sebastian's hand yet instantly looked away again, subtly checking his own. A moon scythe facing left. Sebastian had a moon scythe facing right.

... Shit. Anyone but him.

The Australian hoped and prayed on the inside that this was nothing but a sick joke from Sebastian. He couldn't be his soulmate, he simply couldn't...! And yet it was Sebastian's voice and the words he spoke that made it all sink in.

"... We're soulmates."

They were indeed soulmates.

He stood silent for a while, staring holes into the ground. The inner turmoil he faced in that moment was bigger than anything he had felt before... and it was hard to reason with his soul, which begged him for its soulmate - who just so happened to be Sebastian Vettel.

The German blond hugged himself after a while of Mark defeaning both of them with his silence and looked away, extending a careful olive branch to his teammate, hoping he'd accept it.

"... Don't you think we could at least try getting along...? I know you don't like me... although I don't know why. You never gave me a reason, you just started mistreating me one day to the next. But I do want to get along, Mark... If we want to be healthy, both of us, then we have to at least try."

Mark's expression soured at Sebastian's words, and he instantly felt sick. Getting along with him... It sounded so outlandish, he almost hysterically laughed out loud. But he wasn't wrong... Many times, people had gotten physically sick until the point of permanent disability from rejecting their soulmates. He didn't want this to happen to himself... or to Sebastian.

"My intuition says 'fuck that', to be honest. Because you're right, I do not like you in the slightest. Then again... we are soulmates."

He looked up at Sebastian with an unreadable expression on his face, making the younger driver flinch in fear.

"I can, of course, try... but don't expect any miracles from me. It will most likely take me a very long time to warm up to this... this idea of us living like this, as soulmates. Not to mention happily so."

Mark slowly extended his shaking hand, palm facing the ground, and Sebastian immediately understood - he reached out his own hand as well, palm facing the ceiling once again, and reached for Mark's hand with as much care as he could bring up, fingertips brushing against each other. That touch alone sent electrical sparks through their bodies already, and Mark quickly caught himself secretly yearning for more.

Once their markings touched, a full-body shiver went through the older Australian, and he looked up at his teammate in uncertainty, finding himself facing a small smile of hope.

"I'm willing to wait for that long. Patience is one of my strengths - and I'll be sure to make use of that in all the right ways. I promise."

The smile he received, Mark quickly returned, although the corners of his lips shook as he did so, all while his voice came out towards Sebastian in the form of the tiniest of whispers laced with the smallest amounts of hope - enough for it to be audible, however.

"... Thank you."

OK, I'm not the biggest shipper out here. I usually stick with canon couples and see if one of them particularly catches my eye. So don't expect much fanon.

Also, I love healthy relationships. Not perfect, ofc, but functional couples that bounce off each other either in a cute or chaotic way. Kinda like what @aliciavance4228 said.

And since I'm in a big Greek mythology phase, ofc some couples are included.

Here's my list of OTPs and why they're amazing.

Dionysus and Ariadne

Let's get the most predictable one out of the way 😂.

First of all, I'd like to thank @margaretkart again for feeding me with absolutely beautiful art of this couple.

Then... what can I say ? I love the whole messages of second chances and healing behind them, their personalities, the fluff, the vases of them are adorable, Ariadne being involved in the cult (like as a helper in fighting off Perseus for exp), the crown of stars. Everything about these two makes me smile, honestly.

When I was younger, I just knew that Theseus dumped Ariadne and that was it. Kinda sad. But seeing her get a happy ending after everything she lost is so much better ! Especially with someone as interesting as Dionysus, who will certainly not be afraid of her darker backstory.

(I don't think mr. "I plotted Pentheus' death" will have a grudge over Ariadne betraying her family, lol 😂)

Also, there's potential to exploit some darker sides as well, especially about their backstories. Anyways, 10/10 romance. Next.

It's pretty obvious, seeing how many salty complaints I have each time Odysseus is shown as a cheater and Penelope as "boring" (no she isn't).

It's mostly the Odyssey version, since Penelope is more fleshed out in the original text, but the Epic version gave pretty songs about them so I like it too :3

I mean, LOOK AT THEM. They're so in synch, there's even a whole world describing them. "Homophrosyne". They think alike, they're literal soulmates. They're lying, scheming goobers who are so beautiful they attracted a lot of unwanted attention. They're patient, persistent, they carry everything on their backs, I mean, they're actually so compatible it's amazing.

Who doesn't like a good story of longing, trials and tribulations until the emotional reunion ?

Howl and Sophie (HMC)

Both book and movie versions for very different reasons.

The movie one speaks for itself. Many of us were touched by how beautiful this couple is. This movie is so full of emotions, sincerity and gives us fluffy feelings. Exactly like this couple.

The versions from the book ? They're just so funny 😂. They argue all the time, but not some duper toxic stuff like in some BookTok. They have married couple arguments, they bicker, they're both so beautifully flawed (especially Howl. If you thought he's dramatic in the movie, then he's that times 100 in the book).

Other couples I (really) like

And a quick explanation of why I do :)

Ares x Aphrodite : what can I say ? Love and war go hand in hand. Plus they bounce off each other well and can easily be a very interesting power couple if used well.

Undyne x Alphys (Undertale) : I really like their vibes, yk ? Very cute and fun little couple. Classical opposites attract and with similar interests. Undyne, the mighty and heroic warrior and Alphys, our favorite otaku scientist. Anyways, I like them, even though I don't talk about them that much.

Guts x Casca (Berserk) : the struggler couple. Seriously, after all of the horrors they went through, these two HAVE to get a happy ending, otherwise I'm gonna flip. Their rivals to lovers relationship was sweet and, although Guts' internal demons almost threatened the whole thing, he quickly got over himself and put her security first.

Maomao x Jinshi (the apothecary diaries) : first of all, yay season 2 will soon come out ! Then, I really like this slow burn and how each of them is fleshed out. They have similar vibes to book Howl and Sophie in some ways. Jinshi is a bit too much at times but other than that, it's pretty good. Especially seeing how many potential cringe stuff a setting like this could bring in a badly written story. Also I just love my poison queen Maomao so much :3

Also, their silly moments are so funny, especially when you think it's gonna be romantic. And nope, it's Maomao fantasizing about poison or herbs or shrooms or something like that.

Hephaestus x Aglaia : mainly because I rarely hear about them and I'm angry now because it's basically the healthy version of Hephaestus x Aphrodite

Zeus x Hera : ok maybe the most surprising entry in the list. They're kinda my biggest exception for healthy couples, but they're so hilariously disfuncitonally and intensely in love, it's impossible not to notice them.

Have you ever saw a couple with an odd color match in a bl?

For example a pink x green. I mean these colors are a match in color theory and I would think they Make a good contrast when we talk about people (pink being more romantic and daydreaming while green may be someone more mature and down to earth) but we it's something rare to see?

TLWR: I don't find any color-coded pair really odd if it's two different colors. I like the diversity of color coding and the stories the colors tell. The only thing I find odd is when colors are the same since that goes against the norm regarding romantic pairings, which isn't a bad thing.

I like that your example of an odd couple was pink x green, only because that coloring is reserved for friendships and family connections.

I would love to see a romantic pair color coded that way because I like different colors getting paired up, but secretly, I'm always rooting for the Purple Pretties x Brown Beauties since one is extravagant and the other is down-to-earth.

We've only gotten one pair with this actual color coding, and I desperately want more.

Which is why I'm thrilled I'm getting a new color coded pair in Wandee Goodday!

But the couples I find odd in regards to color coding are the couples with the same color (Tharn x Phaya are NOT the same color).

Quick color terms:

Hue - The main color

Tone - When grey is added to the main color

Shade - When black is added to the main color

Tint - When white is added to the main color

Visual media tells us those who share the same color are too similar to work out romantically.

So whenever I get a romantic couple who shares the same color, I get confused. For example, before the yellow was introduced in La Pluie, Tai was light blue and Phat was dark blue.

One was usually neutral blue (the main color), and the other was either a tint (white added to it - Tai) or a shade (black added to it - Phat).

So theirs really should have been a story about how even though they were soulmates, they wouldn't work romantically because they were too similar.

The same for Secret Crush on You's Sky and Jao.

Pink is not a separate color on the Color Wheel. Violet is, which is a third-level color mixed between red and purple, but pink is really a tint of red (red with white added to it).

So Jao and Sky were essentially the same color.

Which is different from Kiseki: Dear to Me's Eddie x Chen Yi who didn't have a specific color assigned to them, but just simply matched colors.

Honestly, I like when couples match colors, clothing, accessories, y todo. It's very Midwestern-family vacation vibes.

Like nothing says "we are a couple" more than matching colors, matching dog tags, and matching body pillows, you know?

As an aside: Color coding makes me really reflect on the story and what it is trying to say. For instance, I, a bisexual, am very against bi-colored characters because I want them to pick one color, but isn't the whole point of a bi-colored character is that they don't have to pick just one color? Same with same-color couples. I'm watching a queer love story and demanding different colors from each person, yet doesn't the same color reinforce the homo part of the story?

So good news for my white raven soulmate au

So due to it being set in the late Victorian and early Edwardian era, gay sex, and really queer stuff in general, is illegal in most places. So as a way to live relatively safely, Lenore and Annabel would have to find a place that is a bit more progressive.

Now there are three places I wanted to look a first, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. Why? Because Lenore and Annabel might be able to speak the languages there. Victorian women where expected to learn French and Italian so they could read works in those languages, and communicate with people who spoke them. As for Lenore, well I can easily make it so her family taught her Dutch, maybe they have family in the Netherlands they wanted her to be able to communicate with.

If any of these three places didn't work out, I could easily make Annabel a polyglot. She gives off that vibe.

I started with the Netherlands, and actually found out that gay sex in privet was decriminalized all the way back in 1811 when the Netherlands adopted the French legal code, after they were incorporated in to the French empire. They never ended up recriminalizing it, at least not on their own accord. The nazis ended up making it illegal, but the Netherlands undid that law after ww2.

Gay people were still persecuted under "public indecency" laws though.

Unfortunately I still don't know how gender nonconformity was treated at the time. Even if I do some creative world building to alow for same sex soulmate couplings under the law, we still have Lenore's cross dressing to contend with. If it was legal, she could very easily just start dressing as a woman again, but would she want to? Cause, it's very clear in canon that Lenore prefers men's clothing. She could continue to live as Leo, but that's also inherently risky.

So if any one has a more in depth knowledge of queer history in the Netherlands, especially in regards to people cross dressing, please let me know. It would make writing this fic so much easier.

My best friend is Eiji. He is my soulmate. I met him three years ago. The guy HAS A VIBE! As soon as I saw him, I said: HE'S PERFECT! I don't know, it was a heart thing, you know? I saw him and I knew he would have a great talent. It was a hope, an oasis in the desert, because I had been wanting to put together a team for a while. Have you seen his eyes? They glow as if they were from a toxic chemical. It's mesmerizing. Well, I think I went off topic, but, shit, I had to chase him for a whole afternoon to get him to say something other than "fuck you".

I can make you a list of why I think Eiji is the COOLEST guy to ever walk this earth (along with Tetsuya).

I think it's something he hasn't openly shown but they ARE AMAZING. He has something with art that is much deeper and higher than any other connection he has.

He is very talented and even though he has drug problems, since joining our team, he has worked very hard to rehabilitate himself. I don't think he sees it, but he really has an incredible talent in music.

I also like that he's a jerk, I mean, in a good way. He makes stupid jokes just like me. Have you seen Gravity Falls? He has more or less Stanley's personality haha I like that show, my favorite character is Mabel. I think I'm like her in many ways. Ah but I went off topic again, sorry-

Shouta is a person I can really rely on for everything. He always tries to give us his wisdom and help us, even when he needs more help than us. He is like a father…

Ujum… but hey. Did I ever tell you about the time Shouta took Eiji and I out for ice cream and ran into his ex? HIS EX WAS THE SALESMAN. It was very awkward and funny, because the guy looked really angry and Shouta was so nervous that he looked like he was going to faint.

Ah, I don't know if I told you that Shouta really likes k-pop. Sometimes I catch him dancing to some choreos alone, when he thinks no one is watching. It's very funny, he does it horribly. Although sometimes he gets it really good, especially the hip steps or something like that.

Well, Shouta has a lot of positive things, that's why I made him the leader. Sometimes I feel guilty, like, he really tries to do the best he can and I think he feels pressured. I don't like that.

I have another friend, who we usually talk online. His name is Marco, he is a CEO, he works in Sumida. We met because we played Call of Duty together. He is very talented. And he has a great voice. I like that guy.

Oh are we not imagining heats?~

Lemme get a general "monsters in heat" headcanon out of the way before I get bombarded ROFL

Most monsters tend to fall either towards a dominant side during heat (Usually comes with heightened aggression and the urge to breed) or a submissive side (Usually fairly placid, but needy and needing to be bred) but some can be reactive to their partner, depending.

As a rule of thumb, everyone generally falls towards the former, but some are reactive.

Monsters have a sort of ambient scent about them that they just kind of... put off. It's much stronger during this time, and is a sort of magical pheromone-- repelling competition and attracting a mate. Like-aligned monsters tend to think they stink (ex. a usually dominant monster encountering a dominant monster in heat) while opposite-aligned monsters thing they smell good.

A regular monster cycle usually happens once every 4 months or so, or 3 times a year. They can attract and repel monsters who aren't in heat, but the general urge is to reproduce. Over time-- and civilizing-- this is mostly a remnant of a more feral bygone era thousands of years ago that hasn't quite been rendered evolutionarily obsolete. Being in heat does not guarantee successful reproduction, as it takes both partners making at a minimum an unconscious desire for a new soul to be made. It consumes magic to do so. Even with human partners, there must be a want.

If a monster encounters their soulmate, their cycles often line up for more success in reproduction-- another thing that hasn't quite been cycled out of basic monster biology.

Annnddd some monsters might notice a change in their reproductive parts around this time-- yet another lingering evolutionary trait-- that are generally designed to help ensure a successful breeding. They also tend to run very hot with all the additional magical hormones and signals running through their body

Things monster heats are not or do not do: -Are not dictated by any omegaverse bs because I don't... understand it, this is a much more basic rundown and I don't really vibe with omegaverse stuff, this is just... general, gender-neutral stuff that blankets all monsters of every kind, since they're all considered the same 'species' and can interbreed regardless of shape. -Do not make the monster unreasonable-- they can get sometimes dangerously aggressive, depending on temperament-- but they aren't going to force themselves on an unwilling partner-- they can't. If a soul does not reciprocate advances, they'll back off and look for someone else. Unresponsive souls will not ever provide offspring. -Extend to partners-- they might feel a little hot and bothered by scent or by the situation in general, but heat will not trigger a heat-- and especially not human partners, who cannot experience heat without artificial induction.

Some monsters dislike dealing with their heats, and so take cycle suppressants, which are essentially monster birth control. They help make heats more manageable and non-disruptive, generally reducing the effects to being annoyingly horny and running slightly warmer than normal. They don't need to be taken consistently, but it's a good idea to start them a week before and continue a week after. These are available to every monster not in their stripes or otherwise of sexual maturity. Daily showers and/or perfume or cologne will help mask the increased scent (also not as powerful if suppressed) and keep other monsters around them level-headed and able to handle their presence.

Heats generally last until there is a 'successful' breeding (eg. that change in reproductive part is used) or for about a week, whichever comes first.

last february i was going through my zelda phase again and i was looking for fics to read. previously i had read a lot of sidlink fics so I was looking for something new, and I decided to check out revalink fics and. oh em gee. i got hooked 😭

I remember insisting I only liked it ironically but 💀 look where I am now. #1 revalink shipper oopsies 🤭 their dynamic really stood out to me, I've shipped a lot of rivals to lovers before so I guess once I started to consider it revalink just made sense to me. also revalink fics are devastatingly good, like there's a couple that I reread religiously 😫

what are your favorite things about the ship?

omg I LOVE THIS QUESTIONNN. saurr many things like. I mentioned it already but I love their dynamic, especially when you start to analyze it beyond the surface level. I love headcanons about why revali lashes out at link in the first place, especially in relation to the champion's ballad dlc and how revali's diary reveals that he's just really insecure about himself. I think they're such good character foils to each other and that makes their interactions, both as rivals and as lovers, so much richer than some of the other ships in the game. their relationship is so open to interpretation and that makes it one of the most satisfying ships to make content for SHFJDBF

is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

hmm not that I can think of! i post a lot of headcanons and stuff but I don't think they've ever been unpopular, maybe just unique. like my all the president's men au 💀 i still think abt that sometimes LOL

I do think they're besties tho, because since they grew up together they'll be super close and know each other very well. but imo link doesn't see her like that and mipha eventually moves on

what would have made you like it?

I think a.) mipha's character should have been fleshed out more because she felt so one-dimensional and it kind of bothered me, her character had so much more potential and I love seeing fanon version of her where she actually has a personality. and b.) if there was a little more pining on both link's and mipha's parts. the best part of childhood friends to lovers is the pining!!
