1. why did you choose your url?

my url is from ‘sol lucet omnibus’, a latin phrase that means the sun shines for everyone. a lot of my urls & usernames and whatnot are sun themed, so this is just another in a long line. for a while it was ‘solclaw’ while i was in a werewolf phase. but i dont plan to change it again

ahhh…. the secret come out. i guess? i have two sideblogs. @jinjjayo is my kpop sideblog, which i have not advertised having so far but does exist. i also have @solref, which is just where i collect tutorials & other reference stuff.

not consecutively, i took breaks, but my first blog was made in 2011. :0 i’ve had three main blogs over the years.

My first name is Elizabeth, and I was reading the novel Anna Karenina when I first started this tumblr.

LMAO, MY GUYS! I honestly don't know how other people keep up sideblogs. Having to manage one is already enough! I've never really felt the need to have another one.

....I'm like, 98% certain that I first came here in May 2013. So, I wasn't here at the very beginning where all the True Madness of Tumblr was taking place, but I came in near the tail-end of it all, LOL.

I don't queue at all! Again, I've never felt the need to do so. I'mma show up when I show up; I'm gonna reblog whenever I want and whatever makes me happy; and then I'mma leave, LOL.

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

I was talked into it by my core group of friends who I've been close with since high school and college. And the irony of it all? I'm the one who still uses Tumblr regularly! The rest of them either deleted their Tumblrs or just simply abandoned them and have left them alone for years, LOL.

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?

It's a painting by the Russian artist Vasily Surikov called The Siberian Woman. I love his style of painting, and I've always been surprised how me and the woman in the painting look alike! Another one that I use frequently is Portrait of a Lady by Franz Xaver Winterhalter, for the same reason--she looks quite a bit like me!

I've tried having other icons on and off, but I always come back to the Siberian woman and Portrait of a Lady. What can I say? They fit me.

7. why did you choose your header?

It's an image I nicked from Twitter. It must've been from a historical textiles or blue motifs post that someone made, and I immediately was drawn to it. Blue is my favorite color, especially darker blues. The gold flowers made it even prettier, so I've kept it.

8. what’s your post with the most notes?

I honestly have no idea! I don't often make my own posts, as it were. Any commentary I make is usually within the confines of my tags (which is also very frequent and often!), which are many! I've got a lot of things to say, and I'm gonna say 'em somwhere, LOL!

I truly do not know, if you can believe it. Probably around 20; I don't make it a point to make so-called "famous" blogs follow me, but if we've talked more than 4 or 5 times, I'll probably follow you back.

thank you so much!! i've been seriously enjoying writing and thinking about leon & his point of view lately and i've been having a ton of fun with it behind the scenes, hopefully that post is one of many more to come because i have alot of ideas in store! i'm so glad that you're enjoying my portrayal and find my blog & writing aesthetically pleasing, because i put alot of time and thought into what i want on this blog these days, and what's helped me significantly is cutting down on what i reblog here and just setting up a separate spam sideblog for all of my fanart and etc. posts if they aren't related to specific character bonds, and i potentially have an aesthetic sideblog in the works too to streamline things more. i feel like i have a more concise place to write leon when i have everything organized, when i look back on my archives and recent posts now, i have like.. a sense of consistency? and it makes it so much easier to keep going when i feel concrete like that.

my friend over at blitzkriegers, ty, has been like... the tumblr version of marie kondo for me lmao, this 'does this spark joy' figure helping me sort out alot of my anxieties around being on this blog and tumblr in general, and writing overall, and has been a massive help in identifying all the little ways i procrastinate to put off writing because of some internal confidence issues. alot of that came across in constantly remaking graphics (ty actually made alot of material for this blog so i could focus on writing - if you like my icon borders i use for leon, those are all his work), alot of that was doomscrolling on pinterest, alot of it was just generally a bad mindset i had gotten into with the way the rpc in general, not just resident evil, functions - lately feeling very draining at times, learning how to navigate all of that w/ his support as a friend has been really positive for me.

so if you like what i put out on my blog here, i can't recommend enough that you check out his blog at blitzkriegers, where he writes karl heisenberg, as well as my other friend cj, who writes a splendid ethan winters on wintersdecay & a stunning ada wong, amongst other muses, over at greenherb. she does alot of study posts that are in significantly more detail than mine but far more legible, and her and ty's mutual worldbuilding is so easy to fall in love with. both of their blogs are more than great in my opinion if you're like me and have issues with focus but become super invested in roleplay and how people individually portray their muses, their blogs are very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and their writing styles even more so. they're a joy to discuss headcanons and dynamics with, and alot of what i have on this blog i have built either with them directly, via their suggestion, or with them in mind! if you follow one i bet very soon you will be following the other lmao.

i hope i never do stop writing. it was tough going there for a while, but i feel like at least for right now i can reach that source of joy that i was out of reach from for a long time that inherently drives my writing. thank you for sending in such a sweet message!! it seriously made my evening to read it, and it really makes me proud to know that i'm putting time into one of my favorite hobbies and it's paying off not only for myself, but that someone else besides me is getting alot of enjoyment out of it too, and the reminder, the validation of that, is just always a wonderful gift to receive.

I can be slightly selective with who I follow but I do generally tend to follow everyone back that follows me! If I don’t follow you back it’s either because I didn’t notice I had a new follower or I’m just not the hugest fan of your muse or the property they belong to but please be aware it will never be because of the mun unless you happen to just be a known douche bag or something idk.

As I am 26 I would generally prefer to write with writers who are 18 or older and tend to not be too interested in writing with muns under this age. This rule does not apply to Muses. If your muses is a kid or a teenager I will happily write with you as long as you yourself are 18 or older.

Due to the nature of the show there will be times where things can be religious in theme as well as posts that include themes like death, violence and trauma as well as cults and experimentation on children. I have played splatoon 2 and 3s main story mode, but not 1 or octo expansion. If i ever get something about the lore or story wrong feel free to correct me lol

why did you choose your url?

sill a mystery to me tbh cause i’m in no way taegi biased (your girl has been sope biased since the og days) but it’s still iconic and looks so satisfying to read? also my last one was cringe af, whoever let 15 year old danni near tumblr needs ostracized

why did you start your blog in the first place?

at first it was just to show appreciation and support to writers and creators alike but then i got inspired and decided to write my own and look at us now sluts

why did you choose your header?

cause miss chelle over at @ddaechwita made it for me and everything her pretty little head puts it’s mind to comes out amazingly *chefs kiss* and she even made it sope themed for me which i’m so extremely miserable over and even more miserable over the fact it’s from their season greetings package 🥺 they look 🥺 *sniffles* 🥺 so pretty 🥺 also the colour is so pretty and this is probably the longest i’ve ever stuck to the same header - it’s not going anywhere soon!!

there’s 100% a shitpost i made years ago that has like 15k+ notes but i’m too lazy to dig it up from the realms of hell so let’s just say it’s my masterlist (*psst* you should check it out if you wanna 😽)

honestly, as long as the post and wording doesn’t come off as passive aggressive then idc - as a content creator i understand how important it is to reblog stuff so i can see the point most of those posts are trying to make

It’s a great song, one of my favourites on Ram, and I just love the sound of the word. Good mouth feel.

This is a sideblog lmao, but I do have another sideblog for a YouTube channel called redlettermedia, @thegrabowskis. I just really like their videos. They're a constant source of laughter when I need it and an endless, bottomless source for movie recommendations when I'm bored.

I suck at coming up with usernames so I just stole lyrics from a song that was very important to me at the time - Down We Go by Ashestoangels :)

I have an old Owari No Seraph sideblog where I used to make text-message/facebook posts @owarinosocials -it's not active anymore though but i still always get notifs from it which is nice. Also a politics sideblog I keep forgetting to use @petalsspeakspolitics

Not actually that long, because I wasn't really allowed social media without my parent having access to it to check I'm being safe. Since around 2017, I think? Maybe even 2018.

Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Mainly because I was starting to write fics on AO3 and I wanted a place to interact with people who read them, and also a place to try and advertise them I guess. Then I got sucked into the void.

You are an incredible writer. You were one of the first yandere writing blogs I found and you’re still one I check in on regularly to see what you have been working on. You can portray a sense of suspense and intrigue in a natural way that many other writers - published ones included - struggle with. You delve into the darkness without it feeling forced, and you have an amazing grasp on the psyches of the characters you write for (which is a quality I adore in writing and strive toward myself).

Favorite season: Fall!!! Getting colder but no one’s yelling at me about the fact that I don’t own a winter coat, apple picking, the smell of dead leaves... I love it

Favorite food: My cravings for pad Thai and broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl are unmatched right now.

Dream car: Public transportation. I haven’t wanted to own a car or drive since I was like 14.

Dream trip: I feel like every time I try to have an actual solid answer for this it feels weirdly performative. SO instead of actually trying to choose a place I’ll say going abroad with the (still un-met) love of my life. Also I’m really excited about the concept of going on one of the spring break trips with my lab team but idk where that’d be or even if I’ll get the chance to.

Blog established: My main? July 2012. This blog was created sometime in 2015, I believe, to be my Once Upon A Time sideblog, but I didn’t post on it until October 2017 when I wanted to yell about Willam and @artificial-jazz (and others, I guess) somewhere other than my main.

What are you wearing right now: Hayley Kiyoko shirt paired with white cherry print shorts.

Drink(s) of choice: Water, for the most part.

Number of blankets you sleep with: There are currently nine blankets on my bed (three of which are comforters), but my excuse is I sleep in a nest and own no pillows.

Average sleeping hours: 5-6, I’m trying to do better. Hence the schedule thing.

Random fact: The previously mentioned schedule is not going well. I’ve been working on this and goofing off in other ways for over an hour now. Buy my book when it comes out in like 10 years lmao
