⋆ RP PET PEEVES?: probably just...not being given anything to work with in threads or in plotting circumstances. i try to come to people with ideas when i reach out for plots myself, and always put a lot of effort into ensuring my replies haves something for my partners to respond to and build upon, so it's frustrating when someone hits me up to plot with no idea what they're interested in exploring or gives me a reply that's just their character reacting to mine with nothing new to build from.

⋆ EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: oh boy i've been roleplaying since i was a kid lmao. i originally rped primarily on forums. first, it was a hp forum (rip) and then years later i joined a dragon age forum, then a multifandom crossover forum that was a lot of fun. from there i decided to try out tumblr and it really stuck. tl;dr: i've been roleplaying on and off since i was about eleven years old, so that's like...22 years of experience???

⋆ FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: it truly depends on my mood tbh! i can write all three under the right circumstances, and i enjoy them all in their own way. i guess i lean more towards fluff and angst over smut, but i have been known to discuss the sex lives of our muses with my partners (as long as everyone is comfortable with it), and then occasionally write it out with them in thread or meme form.

⋆ PLOTS OR MEMES?: both! it helps me to keep a thread going if i have a general idea of where we both want it to end up. but i also love getting memes and replying to them and continuing them into threads spontaneously. it works a bit better for me than starter calls, which i am notorious for never finishing (sorry!).

⋆ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: again, both! shorter replies are easier for my brain these days, but i love a longer thread as well. it just takes me a while to get around to replying to longer things, as i want to give my partner plenty to work with (even if i can't always match their exact length).

⋆ TIME TO WRITE?: literally whenever the muse strikes, which is unfortunately highly sporadic and constantly bouncing from muse to muse.

⋆ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: all of my muses have a little bit of me in them, i think. that's one of the joys of writing. finding parts of yourself in others and exploring or processing your own experiences through fiction can be liberating and cathartic (though i think it's also important to see and work with characters who are different from you). so yeah. there might be more of me in my ocs than my canons, but i like to think there is a little shard of me in all of them. <3

Hello! And sure! I'm perfectly ok with you calling me friend if you'd like! ^-^

And no worries about taking a bit to send another ask, send them whenever you want to and are feeling up to, don't feel bad if its awhile in between!

I have been ok, sometimes stuff can get too much so I try to step back for a bit and go with the flow a bit and focus on being ok again :3 The same goes back at you! Make sure to get enough rest and drink water and take care of yourself as well! ^-^

The event hasn't been too bad to manage, I most do things in the background, occasionally pull some strings and keep things organized as much as I can, which works great, I much prefer to work behind the scenes (While I am not opposed to spotlight, theres simply something nice about keeping all the lil details of something organized :3)

I certainly have a good few (not as many as SOMEONE I know, yes, I mean you Moonlight, they keep growing) But most of them don't get as much virtual traffic to them so I mostly do things on two 70% of the time which are this one and my main side one jestersdlc

Two other's are ask blogs, and those don't get asks too frequently so they mostly just chill there :3

And the last (known) one is a group one and that one is pretty slow on us all to update it, so it's not toooo bad :3 I can't remember exactly when your last ask was...(time wise I mean >_<) So I'll try my best! Not sure there's much to say tho :3

Idk if PDC was made before or after...but me and a pair of friends (whom you may know, Qwill and Sol) made an au blog called playdatecollectorau where we kinda shove a bunch of our au's together so we can have our beans have 'playdates' theres LORE of course, cause lore is awesome

Mostly just intro stuff on there atm but it's fun to have and plan

I have accumulated....more AU's, there is...so many for DCA au's there is....10 and a half (the half is PDC) (JDCAU, J-TOL, LOTC, MIW, LSAU, REDACTED, NBCau, ESSau, CTAMK and secret) along with a few TSAM's ones which there is...less of 3 and a half (Starboy, CuddleBug, SolarMoon and Dream Eater (which is the half cause its...all encompassing lets say)

And just recently got the SolarAndMoon blog up and running which is nice, they look real squishy

I have a couple little projects on the go or completed as well, a few oneshots have been posted (mostly on my side blog...) and am currently working on a mini series for Aromantic awareness week!

Certain characters are being...uncooperative...but I shall figure something out! (...moreso idk much on certain beans yet so its making it finicky to write them >_<)

and IT IS ARO WEEK NOW! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

So that is exciting, excuse to wear green (one of my favorite colors) and spread awareness for aromanticism! Its great :3

AND new pronouns! Idk if you popped in last before or after that but that was a funky thing, I now use she/they and ey/em/eir so thats fun! ^-^

And I have a few lil secret projects of course :3

smallville. a name i haven't heard in a long time. i remember watching it as a teenager, i recognise the faces of the actors but i have no clue as to what's going on in the show. the only thing i know is it's about superman (am i sure? not really) as for riverdale, the only thing i've watched are the yt video edits/the memes. some of the videos are kind of funny. especially when you know nothing about the show hahaha

oh wow congrats on actually keeping your promise of watching kdramas 👏👏👏 so revenge of others is a thriller mixed with a little bit of detective stories? (i don't remember the name of the genre lol) i hope the k*ll*r (just in case tumblr wants to flag this post) is not the person you're suspecting because then it ruins the story :/ at least in my opinion ^^ i mean, it's nice if you guess who it is while collecting clues during the first few episodes but if you already guessed by episode 2 then it's a bummer :( but again maybe the story is not entirely focused on finding the culprit and more about how the main character reacts and what will happen to the culprit? i'm sorry those are just random guesses >3< and i'm sure you've got the right answer. you're smart, very smart!

First off: they’re all really lovely designs, yes even Quaxly. Kudos to the artists! I’m in love with these beans!

Fuecoco: I’m a huge fan of 'mons that are creatures disguised as objects. Applin definitely comes to mind with this guy, and that’s my only complaint- why is the Fire-type 'mon based off an apple?

...actually hold on. hear me out here- doesn’t he look kinda like a chili pepper? That makes a lot more sense, I’d have to look up kinds of peppers but that might be the basis! Ok going off of that, he’s a Very Good Lad and I can’t wait to see the fiery alligator he evolves into :D

so i have like. a FUCK ton of pet peeves for fics, and i just wanted to say first that fanfic should not be placed in any boxes or standards because it is freely written and it is something meant to be enjoyed. these are my opinions and all peeve me to only a certain degree (meaning it squicks me out at worst)—so if you are a fic writer and you find yourself doing any of these things, do NOT take it to heart and just know i love you for doing what you do and i wish you all the best ♡

im gonna give reasons why certain things peeve me so i dont just sound like im bitching but generally, when reading ANY fics, i dislike the ff:

- long paragraphs with no breaks. bro i have adhd i cant go through all of this im going to get LOST.

- underlining, bolding, italicizing, AND capitalizing statements for emphasis like sir its chill i think i get the point. imho if you wrote your scene well enough and paced it properly, the most you'll need is an italics and maybe an exclamation mark. u gotta trust ur own writing and the reading comprehension of your audience.

- jittery perspective jumps especially when its fic about characters who use the same pronouns and youre constantly shifting the thoughts being presented. it... gets kinda confusing.

- FIRST PERSON POV. ITS NOT BAD I JUST GET SO JARRED BECAUSE SASUKE UCHIHA IS DOING WHAT TO ME??

everything else like grammar and punctuation and spelling is literally just. whatever. like as long as i get your point i really dont care. sometimes writers dont speak english fluently. sometimes writers just fuck up and dont have betas. sometimes writers just post their chapters at 3 am and leave all their mistakes out for god. i have no right to judge.

for personal bnha fic pet peeves, ig most of my annoyance lies on characterization and my own personal beliefs

- i already said it previously but i cannot STRESS how much i dislike the whole "fuck redemption arcs and fuck all authority figures except LoV for some reason" theme. it annoys me and i just flat out dont agree with it

- HATE tropes that reduce deku to being like 🥺👉👈 uwu okie soft helpless bean. theres nothing wrong with it if thats how you prefer deku, but i just get annoyed by it

- ANYTIME BKDK HAS AN UNEQUAL DYNAMIC. again. nothing wrong with exploring it in fanfiction. i just dislike reading fics that make either deku or bakugou blatantly weaker than the other. i love quirkless deku fics but i hate ones where he's also characterized as amounting to nothing and still acts like bakugous punching bag/okay with bakugou disrespecting him. their whole dynamic in canon is built on a great deal of respect

- speaking of bkdks power dynamic, FRICK GOSH I HATE SEEING FICS WHERE DEKU "realizes bakugous been abusing him for years!" and gets him expelled from ua and everyone claps. like. LIKE??? N. NO???? thats not how it works 😭

- all might slander. also unjustified or unnuanced endeavor slander where they dont tackle the complexity of his character. also also unjustified or unnuanced bakugous mom slander. this ones a bit controversial so i wont talk about it much.

- sexist homophobic or racist bakugou. im kicking that away. no. especially fics where bakugous past bullying is explained as "repressed homosexuality". i like making that as a joke but i genuinely do no believe in it.

- BAD MOM MIDORIYA INKO. ITS A TROPE I SEE SOMETIMES AND IT MAKES ME CRY I DONT HAVE A RATIONAL REASONING FOR IT I JUST LOVE INKO

- fics where ochako is obviously very reduced into a supporting figure with absolutely no dimension except being a supportive character and maybe having a shoe-horned wlw romance just for the sake of making her unavailable. shes my fave bnha girl and sometimes in fics i can literally FEEL her character being butchered to only show up when deku needs Love Advice. *note that this only applies when literally every other male character has something else going on for them and its just the females being sidelined into Boy Advice Givers and Talking Sense.

- fics that very obviously belittle asian principles and culture. family means a GOOD DEAL to a lot of asian cultures and fics that spout "if you dont like your family then leave and find your own! its that simple!" usually sound incredibly ignorant or outright claim moral superiority to the weight of familial bond in asian culture. same with manners, respect, and discipline.

- jeALOUSY/CHEATING FICS OK IM SELFISH I ONLY WANT BKDK TOGETHER LIKE IM DEKUBOWL ONLY SOMETIMES BUT BKDK ALWAYS HAS TO END UP TOGETHER

- "murdering is ok if its characters i hate 🥰" ... listen, you do you bestie but like. no thanks. if i wanted to read about mineta getting murdered by momo with a pistol i dont think id be opening a bkdk soulmarks au

- any dekusquad slander 😭 i love them okay

- *kicks mean/bakugou-hating todoroki out the door*

- *kicks 'all mha characters text, talk, and behave like 14 year old stan twt users (no offense ok i speak like that too)' fics out the door*

- *kicks bratty deku and/or bakugou out the door*

thats. all i can think of atm.

AND THE FOOD - it’s really good to hear you’re enjoying everything honestly - Here in the UK there’s been such a large number of Korean restaurants popping up this past year and I’m living for it tbh - atm they only do the basics like black bean noodles or Korean fried chicken or the grilled meat but I can’t wait for different dishes to begin to pop up too! But the cafes!!! Don’t they have little animal themed cafes like cat cafes in korea omg that is just so cute - or even the art cafes where you draw and drink - I think I might just combust oh my

but I hope you’ll enjoy yourself there (and remember to put your sunscreen on!) ooh and how’s all the skincare and makeup there (if you wear these products) have you done any hauls yet?

omggg it's so nice to hear that korean restaurants are popping up in the UK!! it's always such an honor to hear that!! ahhh the CAFES. i'm going to a big one near han river today, and i'm super excited!! i've wanted to go to the cat/dog/sheep cafes but i can't seem to find them near my area 😭😭 maybe next time!! i've been to like six different malls tho 😩😩😩

i am TOTALLY enjoying my time here! (yes, sunscreen is a MUST!) omfg korea has this chain store called olive young and it sells all the hot makeup for teens/young adults and i am in love. i bought so many things for my mom, myself and my friends LOL. the trending korean clothes here aren't really my style though 😭 (i prefer darker colors and plain/classic clothes but the trend here is pastel colors and frills/ribbons). STILL, THE JEANS HERE ARE SO CUTE. and don't even get me started on the BOOK STORES. they sell so many cute pens/pencils and phone cases/keyboards and accessories! i've done like seven different hauls 💀💀

ahh i never knew chana meant 'chickpea' until like four years ago when i first started using the name as my alias LOL. originally, i really liked the korean name 찬아 (it just sounds pretty to me 😩), which prompted me to write the english pronunciation for it. and that happened to be 'chana.' i've seen some people spell it as 'chanah' or 'channa' too! but i absolutely LOVE the fact that chana means chickpea! AHH cute little chickpea 😩 yes that is a very adorable nickname <3 i actually don't know what chana means in korean (and when i look it up, i don't get any answers either). but i'll stick with chickpea because i love it so much!!

To be perfectly honest someone who can be my best friend and we have those relationships where we skipped the awkward stage and we started farting and burping and crying around each other when we first started being together! We have fun every days a new adventure we watch anime together, they indulge me in watching k pop stuff where We can talk about anything and everything we watch vines and memes and I can take them to my family and they’ll play with my baby cousins and to me that’s ideal. I’ve always wanted to someone who can just be fun and genuine with me and someone who won’t judge me for my weirdness but joins in.

Yes I do I’ve always been that child who carried around babies in a cart and I do a lot of babysitting and I picture myself being a bad ass mother one of these days… who knows?

I took the quiz thing a few times and I either got ENFP and the other times I got INFP so I guess I’m both intro and extroverted! I am the definitely the therapist friend! But I love making new friends and the only downside I have is that I have bad social anxiety so I don’t have great social skills. But when I do make friends I get excited too fast or I like skip small talk and start getting close and personal and everyone I met finds me to be too much and overbearing because I’ll rant for hours about things I love and people cut me off cuz my eyes get big and I talk louder and I start talking fast and it throws people off? But I’m fun I have a range of interests I’m family oriented. I love kids and have an ambition for teaching! I am a big risk taker and throw any rollercoaster my way and I’ll do it:)

A genuine girl and that doesn’t necessarily mean like pure and sweet but I mean they can have their spunk and attitude and their own shit going on but I mean the intention like if you intend to be genuinely real with me and not bullshit with me or waste my time then I’m game to be in a good friendship with you! what don’t you like when you’re sleeping? - Noise. & Light. I’m an extremely light sleeper. I can’t sleep without earplugs & an eye mask or else I will murder someone, so please do not try to talk to me as I fall asleep. Also warmth. If we be hugging whilst sharing a bed, do not be offended if I take breaks. ♡

what do you have for breakfast? - I don’t like breakfast, but it’s important to eat it so I usually have a Nature Valley biscuit & a bottle of water, does me fine til dinnertime. (& by dinnertime, I mean lunch. Not dinner, as I call that tea. Don’t ask questions, I’m from Jon Snow land.)

Living in Costa Rica - A First Week of Adventures and Shopping

I'm encountering Costa Rica starting from the earliest stage - in a real sense. Because of my semi-far off area and the way that I don't yet have a vehicle implies I'm putting my soles to the ground and getting a move on all over a mountainside looking for day by day necessities. Junior and I gazed toward the peak, realizing that some place near the top was our home ... so away we went - strolling roughly 7 kilometers up and up and up and up .... furthermore, up! About 90 minutes after the fact we were home and sore - and yet, it was somewhat fun. The door swings open and Wooyoung comes stomping into the room, "I have brought the caffeinated bean juice. Wake up and taste the bitter life liquid that will bring this S.O.B. down!"

San and Mingi jerk awake, poor Yunho falls out of his chair, and Jongho simply rolls onto his other side and throws his hands over his ears.

I take the coffee cup Wooyoung hands me and breathe in the smell. As I take a cautious sip, Hongjoong walks out of the conference room, shoving his phone into his pocket.

"What did the wife say?" Seonghwa asks, adding three packets of sugar to his coffee.

"To be safe, to be alert, and to come back home." Hongjoong states, "But that phone call ended 15 minutes ago. The phone call I just had was from our medical examiner."

"What'd he say?" Mingi asks, yawning. Yunho drags Jongho up and sits him at the table.

"It's small, might not be helpful to us but something he didn't notice until he read through (y/n)'s file." Hongjoong explains, "He starts at the thighs and works his way up. The depths of the wounds suggest that he loses strength as he works his way up."

"Sick psycho." San mutters.

"It just adds to his profile." I state, "He wants to be the strong finisher type but his body physically won't let him."

"And targeting women could be the source of the anger he has for his weak finisher trait." Mingi finishes for me.

"So maybe he's not as fit as we think." Jongho says, finally waking up some more, "Bursts of energy could explain it but what would cause sudden bursts of energy so extreme that he could abduct a woman and stab her fourteen times?"

"You know," Yunho starts, pulling his book smart knowledge out into the open, "There's rare disease that is known to cause super human bouts of strength that occur during flares of emotion. Some are linked to anger, grief, even joy." His book smarts still constantly amaze me. “It’s rare, so I’ll compile a list of known cases.”

San's computer dings and he quickly jumps for it.

"I think I got something." San says after he clicks around. "I ran a program to try and find similarities between any of the security footage where each of the victims were seen. The program just spit out a similarity."

"Show us." Hongjoong instructs him.

San sends his screen up to the big one and continues talking. "Before (y/n)’s case was added, our victims frequented similar places as each so we couldn’t narrow down a possible connection. But now, each of the victims stopped at this ATM machine right before they were taken from their, uh, last known places." Seven different videos play simultaneously, the same viewing window, on the same street.

"I remember that ATM." I remember, "I was on my way towards a lead outside of the cities and had to stop for some cash because I was completely empty and I owed the forensic tech for a bet I lost."

“You lost a bet?” Jongho wonders incredulously and I shrug in response.

"But why that ATM?" Seonghwa asks, "What that particular ATM? It's outside of town, it’s hardly ever used."

"Well, it looks like 13 years ago, there was a murder right next to that specific ATM." San says, typing away at his desk.

"You're kidding." Mingi says.

San shakes his head, "A brother and sister were walking down the street when the brother's girlfriend showed up and attacked and killed the sister. Claiming she thought the sister was a secret girlfriend he never told her about. Spewed out some things about how he'd always been secretive and lying, and how he wasn't even confident enough to man up to his choices."

"What happened to the girlfriend?" Hongjoong asks.

"Was tried and, oh god," San nearly bangs his head onto his desk, "Found not guilty. Then disappeared two weeks after and has never been heard from again."

“Guys, look.” Yeosang stares at the screens, “The sister was a blonde.”

“Gives reason for the blonde hairs he leaves.” I mention, rubbing the base of my neck.

"Name?" Wooyoung slinks over to his computer.

"Of the brother or the girlfriend?" San looks over at Wooyoung.

"Give me the brother." Mingi calls as he moves to his desk.

"Guess I'll take the girlfriend." Wooyoung shrugs.

"The girlfriend walking gives us the source of his anger." Seonghwa nods, "But why wait so long to start releasing the anger."

"Hey... hey..." Wooyoung's voice shrinks, "The girlfriend is our first victim."

"That explains that." Seonghwa snaps his fingers.

"Spent thirteen years trying to track her down and then finds he loves the feeling and keeps going." Jongho nods along. "There's the motive."

"Hey," San mutters, "Scanning through that specific ATM footage, nobody used that ATM except for our victims."

"He must be protecting that ATM because of his sister. And whenever someone uses the sacred ATM, he loses it." Yeosang deduces.

"How does he know when someone uses it?" I wonder.

"Mingi, anything on the brother?" Hongjoong asks while Mingi's forehead crease deepens.

"Seo Jino." Mingi reads off the online files, "Graduated from the top university with a degree in computer science with an emphasis in computer hacking."

"Explains the ATM footage." Yunho comments, "He can hack and he did hack the footage to watch who uses it and when."

"After the trial, this guy disappeared too. Emptied out his bank accounts and cancelled all his cards and moved out of his home." Mingi continues.

"He had to have reappeared somewhere, at sometime." I suggest.

"He did." Mingi answers, "Right after the first victim's trail went cold."

Seonghwa scrolls through his records, “Looks like this guy keeps to a pattern. Goes to the same places on the same days.”

"His closely held patterns might be what hangs him." Jongho nods his head to the side.

"Mingi, does he have a home address?" Hongjoong asks.

"Here in the city. Apartment on 43rd." Mingi informs us.

"Go." A deeper male voice says from the landing. We turn and there stands the director of the agency, Kim. "Seonghwa and (y/n) will stay here and command center with me."

I open my mouth to protest but Director Kim raises a hand, silencing me, "The rest of the team goes, but you and Seonghwa stay here."

"Can't compete with that." Seonghwa raises his hands in defeat.

"Let's go, grab your gear." Hongjoong says, reaching into his drawer for his gun.

Mingi walks over to me and I stand to meet him. He grabs my shoulders firmly and looks me straight in the eyes.

"I swear to you, we'll grab him." Mingi promises.

I smile at my old partner, "Don't promise me that just yet. He may not even be there."

"He has a pattern. A pattern he sticks to so religiously that it's his only fault." Mingi nods in confidence.

I give his hands a squeeze, "Go, your team is waiting for you."

Mingi nods and quickly walks towards where the other members are waiting for him.

Once the sure ring of the elevator echoes down the hallway, Director Kim makes his way over to the table while I retake my seat and Seonghwa rolls back over to his desk to set up communications.

"I apologize for having to leave you out of this one." Director Kim leans back into his chair.

"I understand, sir." I fold my hands on the table. "Can't risk him trying to finish what he couldn't before."

Director Kim nods, "Let's talk."

"About what sir?" I ask.

"Do you like your position?" Director Kim asks, out of the blue.

"I, I mean, it's a lot of traveling." I answer him honestly.

"Would you like a home office?" He keeps asking.

"Would I- I mean, yes I would like to have a home office." I nod, "It'd be nice to not travel so much."

"And what about this office, and this team?" Director Kim looks around the room. "It fits this team quite well, don't you think? You," He looks directly at me, "are a good fit for this team."

"Sir, what are you suggesting?" I ask, leaning forward.

"What I am suggesting is that you accept your next orders to be permanently assigned to this team." Director Kim smiles, pulling out a folded piece of paper from his inner jacket. "Will be affective as soon as this case is over if you accept it." He slides the piece of paper in front of me, "Think about it."

"They're at the apartment." Seonghwa announces, unable to hide the smile that grows on his features.

"Put it up." Director Kim instructs, "I want this son of a bitch." He mutters with distaste, placing the headphone in his ear.

The video feed from Yunho's chest camera streams loud and clear into the office space.

"Seo Jino!" Hongjoong's voice rings with static, "Federal agents, open up!"

After a few seconds of silence, Mingi quickly kicks open the door.

Shuffling into the apartment with guns drawn, they clear the rooms before making their way to the living room in the back.

"Seo Jino. Drop the weapon." Hongjoong shouts. "Drop it!"

Through the screen, the pixelated picture of Jino's face appears. The smug look on his face nearly flips my stomach. His right hand is locked around a hand fun and a drink in the other.

"Drop the weapon." Hongjoong repeats himself. "Drop it or we shoot."

When Jino still doesn't let the weapon go, Mingi speaks up.

"If we shoot, and you die, you won't be able to see your five minutes of fame." Mingi attempts to convince him to drop the gun. "You die, and no one will say your name."

Jino smirks and chuckles, "No. They will say my name. They already have. And I will be constantly here." He slowly rises from his chair, "In the scars of the torn families, in the case files that will be studied for years to come..."

Sitting in the office, I watch as his eyes seem to catch the video camera and it seems as though he knows I'm watching.

"And they'll live in the scars of the one who chased me till the end." He finishes, points his gun at the camera, and fires a single shot before he is gunned down with the team's bullets.

Yunho’s camera shows only the ceiling and in a couple seconds, San’s face appears.

“Yunho! You okay?” San asks, his eyes scanning Yunho’s body.

“What’s going on?” Director Kim asks, looking intently at the screen.

“I’m okay.” Yunho grunts, sitting up. “The vest caught it.” He groans, “Oh, that’s going to leave a bruise tomorrow.”

San helps Yunho to his feet and they make their way over towards the body.

"Is he?" Yunho asks.

Hongjoong's kneeling next to the body and he checks for a pulse.

"No pulse." Hongjoong says with a flat voice. "Call the crime scene unit."

"Got it." Jongho nods and leaves the frame.

Hongjoong pulls out his phone and Director Kim's phone rings.

"We got him, sir." Hongjoong stares into the camera. "It's done."

Director Kim nods. "When the crime scene unit arrives, come home. You guys did well."

"Yes, sir." Hongjoong nods and Director Kim tells Seonghwa to cut the video feed.

The screens blink back to their abstracted background and I finally release the breath I hadn't realized I was holding.

Director Kim taps the reassignment orders in front of me before standing and buttoning his suit jacket, "We got him, (y/n). Think about it."

I nod in thanks and Seonghwa follows as Director Kim walks out of the office.

Once he's out of the office, Seonghwa envelopes me in a bear hug.

"Is there a reason getting this guy seems sweeter than the others?" He wonders as I wrap my arms around him, welcoming the comfort he always provided.

"It's a more personal case." I reason.

Seonghwa pulls back and holds me at arms length, "Are you going to accept that?" He asks, nodding towards the paper still on the table.

I look down towards it and pick it up, holding it gingerly in my hands as if it could disappear at any moment. "I guess I'll have to think about it." I respond, fold the paper, and tuck it into my back pocket.

The night air sits cooly around me. A breeze passes by and the sounds of the traffic below echos up between the buildings.

I have been thinking about the reassignment order for two days and I want to take the assignment but am teetering on the fence.

The roof access door creaks open and slams shut a few seconds later.

A peek over my shoulder confirms my suspicions of who appeared on the roof.

"The door gave me away, didn't it?" Mingi chuckles, leaning against the rail.

"Indeed it did." I laugh.

"Damn door, hated it since I first got here. Too loud." Mingi explains, "It would ruin my train of thought whenever someone tried to find me."

"Don't they know it's better to call you?" I ask.

"They know now." He states. "They don't learn as quick as I do."

I laugh with my entire chest, "Nobody can learn as quick as you, Mingi. It's what makes you good."

I pull out the folded reassignment order from my pocket and hand it over to him.

"What's this?" Mingi asks.

"Reassignment orders." I explain while he opens the paper and scans over it. "If I accept, I'll be apart of this team. For good."

"Why haven't you signed it?" Mingi wonders turning towards me.

"Waiting for the right person to encourage me." I nudge his shoulder.

Mingi smiles widely and pulls out a pen, "Better late than never, partner."

I take the pen with a smile, "Better late than never, partner."

Mingi puts an arm around my shoulders and brings me closer to him.

“We have more to talk about, don’t we?” He asks.

I sigh, “Oh Mingi, we have much much more to talk about.”

Mingi presses a kiss to the top of my head, "Well then, let's get going, partner."
