wearing moulin rouge .. buxom spiced iris fruitchouli.. there definitely is some reminiscent flavor between this and westwood boudoir and eldo archives 69.. a clove like spice suspended in champagne.. here that’s paired with lots of plum and grandma’s beat up leather pocketbook with a cheap red lipstick she stocked up on 30 years ago.. but i don’t consider this HdP’s official lipstick in suede bag scent because tuberuese 1 capricieuse takes that idea and makes it dryer and mustier and waxier..moulin rouge is easier to wear for me and more sexy womanly and feels more familiar as it has definite commonalities w the 90s/2000s spicy floriental style ..whereas tuberuese capriciuese feels much more in the vein of what smaller niche brands are doing today. anyways need to wear moulin rouge more let me be your burlesque whore grinding my cooch on the hardwood floor

The way they almost dance! The expressions on Gaster's face! The arguing! This is anime right here! Great release for the anniversary. Happy 6 years Handplates!!

Papyrus has HAD IT with this!! Could this be an actual action scene??
On a side note, today is the SIXTH anniversary of Handplates! SIX!!! Which is a very Gaster number but six!!! wtf!! I don’t even believe it myself, frankly. There’ll be another bonus today, but I figured this could work as a nice landmark. My ideal one would have been a few comics ahead but I couldn’t make it in time… maybe if I hadn’t hurt my arm earlier this year. >:/ But Gaster finally letting Papyrus help him works well enough.

Request for @randomstuff7739
I wanted to make it look like mercyplates Papyrus because honestly, that shocked, slightly scared expression of confusion and maybe even disbelief instantly made me think of the yandere m!a over on the ask blogs. Trying to draw Paps' expression in the hdp style was not working out so I just did it my way. Not that I actually know what 'my way' is. It keeps changing.

Magnum PI - 2x10 - Blood Brothers Review!
The boys are back in town, the boys are back in town...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So as the title and promo suggested we got the SEALs In Action both in the flashbacks and the present day. Nuzo is back! And his brother in the present day. My favorite girl gets benched but I kind of get why the writers did that but I’m not salty about it! (But I mean when you have Perdita Weeks to round up a team why in the freaking world would you pick limpy-bald-fat guy? IDK maybe they just don’t like good ratings? #NotSalty...OrMaybeJustALittle)
It has also officially been proven that Rick is actually Shaggy from Scoobie-Doo.
Tumblr media
So the episode starts off with the guys in Afghanistan, sharing the wonders of car-beque (BBQ on a car’s engine) and tales of Ahmed (Amed?) the adorable with Higgy while waiting for Nuzo’s brother.
Tumblr media
(Seriously how cute is this kid?)
Turns out that Nuzo’s brother needs the gang’s help with smuggling/getting papers for said kid who is now all grown up. Which I get why the guys agree to because US immigration laws kind of suck at the moment and they all knew this kid.
I’m a little iffy on why they make Higgins be all "nope, no, no thanks” about breaking the law to save this kid (her excuse is “It’s not life or death” but it totally is, maybe more than some cases they’ve worked, as deportation for this kid would mean being sent to an unstable wartorn region). We already did Higgins not wanting to break the law a few episodes back and this felt like a weirdly stupid reason now. Especially since there is no “pay off” for the fact that Higgins is kind of right and they do in the end involve the HDP and immigration.
I mean I know why they did it. They wanted an all boys SealTeam all back together (with Nuzo’s brother in his place) episode. And I did enjoy that! BUT I think the better option here would have been to have it start out with Higgin’s getting her foot iced having twisted fighting a bad guy during a case or maybe have some work thing with Robin’s Nest. Or they could have already had a case and she’d said they couldn’t just abandon jobs in the middle and that she’d work it alone, At the end we could have had a similar little moment where she was all “sorry I couldn’t be more help but I did catch the cheating bastard. And I got paid, here is the check.” and Magnum could have gone good work, you keep it, you did all the work and she’d have been all. “we’re partners, aren’t we? even if we don’t work together on every case. so we split it.” Character development for everyone involved...just saying...(clearly I should so write the show.)
Any and all of these would let her sit out the case so it could be the all-boys without backtracking some of the character development Higgins has had this season. (I even feel like we get a moment where Perdita agrees with me on this)...
Tumblr media
(I mean just look at that eye roll.)
Then again, I did get some feels about the whole “You didn’t have a lot of friends growing up did you” (oouuch Magnum) - “You were right. I didn’t have many friends”. And how Magnum was all “we don’t have to agree on everything, friends have their ups and down but we’re still BFFs, right? right? right? Now let’s share some adorable smiles and put it behind us, because I can’t be happy when you’re not happy” which was nice.
Tumblr media
Little sad this was our only MIggy nugget but we’ve been getting so much other good Miggy content this season I feel like we’re just spoiled so I’m not going to complain.
Anyways, back to the episode.
Stylistically this episode was different due to the fact that a) there is no case-case b) the flashbacks. Oh yeah, the flashbacks. We need to talk about the flashbacks.
So let me first start by saying I generally don’t like flashbacks. I feel like they slow down a story and just, no, not a fan. Occasionally flashbacks to things that give insight or help the story can be okay but overall I just don’t like them.
Having put that out there, I’m actually going to say much to my surprise I liked the first ones. Starting the episode with one was fun, the baseball game = golden. But ones towards the end, IDK, felt like we’d already been told what was going to happen and we knew they all made it out so the stakes weren’t exactly high. And while the flashbacks tied better in then some sub-plots (if you’ve read some of my earlier reviews you know I’ve been a little bothered by how disconnected the subplots are from the main one /theme of the episodes. ) I think they overdid it.
Did enjoy the whole them being reprimanded and each one of the guys trying to take responsibility for the rest! That’s military comradery for you (or possibly how you act in middle school, can’t quite decide). And Jay killed it talking to the picture. But, I think we could have shorted the middle/end flashbacks or just not had them at all. But that might just me and my hate of flashbacks talking.
I mean if they’d been desperate to have flashbacks, I think they should have focused more on Ahmed than Nuzo’s brother, or we should have gotten a scene or two of Ahmed so we felt more connected to him. I did really like the reunion and how in true Magnum PI fashion there was a happy ending where Ahmed would get to start a new life with Nuzo’s brother in NYC (not nearly as great weather as Hawaii but I’m sure they can make it work...)
Anyways, looking forward to the next episode, the promo looks intense, but also not because once it airs we’ll officially on hiatus for a while right? That’s gonna suck!
Cheers!

Using ao3 tags to imagine a McDanno scenario I present you w this. Danny Has A Big Dick & Powerbottom Steve. The baddy they're after is gay & will be attending a male model thingy cos he's a creeper. Danny's this guy's type & has to go undercover. He doesn't want to. He's self-conscious about how big he is & those little shorts they want him to wear. Steve all tease until he sees why Danny should only wear those in front of him. Steve adds a sexual misconduct charge cos he touched his Danno
Dude!! Jesus! What a present! Wow, I love your Ao3 tags and the story that could rise from those awesome snippets and the hints hidden behind your words.
This is nsfw and includes smut that’s why I put it under the cut.
I have this weakness, this bone-deep crush on bottom!Steve who lusts secretly for Danny’s cock. Steve knows Danny is hung like a pony. His dress pants can’t hide the size although Steve’s convinced Danny wears snuggly fitting briefs to keep his prick in place. He just remembers those moments when Danny seemed to go commando, wearing fucking soft-cotton sports shorts, teasing Steve all day with the way his package bounced, leaving Steve to deal with boiling lust and serious hardness all they long. Jesus fuck! Steve had sore lips from all the licking and he almost ended cross-eyed from trying to look everywhere else but in Danny’s direction.
Tumblr media
And he couldn’t really explain Danny why he kept a distance all day. Danny seemed really upset and complained about unfairness and that not everyone could be a damn SEAL, being always the best at everything. Danny really was convinced Steve didn’t want him in his football team because he thought Danny sucked at being competitive. Steve stumbled over words and explanations but nothing really made Danny’s mood light up again. Steve hated to see Danny so churned up about the situation. Steve bit the inside of his cheek hard to keep his control. He knew he was seconds away to blurt the most stupid, desperate stuff, like Fuck, Danny, your cock...it’s, can I...shit! Fuck me, baby. Fuck me hard because I can’t think of anything else but your dick shoved up my ass, okay? Because that would only leave him with a bruised jaw when Danny would sucker punch him for a second time, snapping his head back in the blink of an eye.
Steve was a bit ashamed the next morning when he woke up and the first thing his eyes spotted was his sex toy. The one he bought, imagining Danny’s dick, measuring the girth and the length with his hands. He paid in a rush and almost fled the store. What was he doing? His ears were hot and the burning feeling on his cheeks didn’t wear off until late in the afternoon and he was tired of the teasing from his team. Danny only shot him strange looks and answered his questions all day with this snapping tone.
Steve really tried hard to ignore the slight soreness of his asshole. The dildo was huge, okay?  It felt too good though and in the safety of his own bedroom with the lights switched off Steve just gave up the fighting. That moment when he stopped playing with the bottle of lube, that moment when he flicked the cap and squirted the slick onto his dildo he knew he opened the gates of his inner dam.
Steve had no idea how desperate he could groan when he imagined the way Danny would make him feel in bed, owning him, taking care of him, whispering praises while Steve’s hole gets stretched wide, teetering on painful. But he wanted Danny so much. He gasped around choked words, while Steve’s hand shoved the lubed, black, huge dildo slowly up his ass. He whimpered when his cum made a mess of his sheets, his hole clenched and it felt as if he had a muscle spams with all the dilatation he forced his ass to deal with. Steve collapsed, falling to the side, skin covered in sweat, his breath labored.
Steve blinks, confused for a split second and turns to answer the question the HDP officers asks him. “Yeah, we’ve got that bastard. Cuff him and get him out of my sight. If I have to look at him for one more second he’s getting way more than just a sexual misconduct charge.”
Steve shoved the suspect rudely towards the police officer and grabbed a blanket on his way to where Danny stands, wearing this tiny, tight, nothing. Steve’s hot under the collar and sports a semi. Danny’s big cock is clearly visible through that ridiculous mini designer swim trunks. He glares at all the model guys surrounding Danny, asking him if he’s okay. This creeper groped him from behind, squeezed his dick and Steve has had to watch the whole goddamn situation until his team was ready to move in. Steve is furious! This asshole touched his Danno, much worse, he touched Danny’s cock. Steve sees red and he knows without his steely self-control he would have shot that asshole a hole through his kneecap.
“Hey, Danny. You okay?” Steve chokes his desire and forbids himself to lower his gaze. He only watches Danny’s face. He angrily shoos all the young models away from Danny. If anyone of these stupid good-looking guys touch his Danno Steve will throw all caution to the wind and go all berserk. His body is pumped with adrenaline and his cock pulsing. And Danny is still half naked. Bad combination.
Danny hugged his upper body, obviously feeling extremely uncomfortable, exposed like this, bulging his mini trunks in a way that hides nothing.
“Yeah, I’m good. This piece of filth cuffed and led away?” Danny asks gruffly.
“Yes, Danno, I would have punched him for you but there were too many policemen standing around. I’ll twist his arm and maybe break one finger in the interrogation room later this day. I hated that he touched you.” Steve bit out while he shakes out the blanket and wraps it around Danny’s hips. His hands are a bit shaky.
“Thanks,” Danny’s shoulders slump and he bunches the blanket around his waist. “I can’t wait to get out of this cruel shorts. I feel castrated. Shit, they’re tight.” He murmured. “Don’t make me ever again do such a stupid undercover job, Steven. I swear to god!”
Steve blows air through his nose. “I won’t Danno, I swear. C’mon, let’s get you out of here.” Steve bulk divided the crowd easily. He slings his arm protectively over Danny’s shoulder and if someone sees a possessive gesture in his behavior this person can go fuck themselves.
Nobody touches his Danno.
Steve’s vision goes all fuzzy at the edges when Danny steps closer with ever step until Steve pulls him tight to his side.
“Get me out of here, babe.” Danny asks simply.
And Steve would have used his grenade launcher if anyone tried to stop them.
“I’ve got you, Danno.” He murmured and tucks Danny closer to his side with his prick hard as rock.
(Thanks again for sexing up my morning, anon! I love your ask! Mahalo for sharing these hot Mcdanno images with me! Hugs!)

this might be kind of an odd question, but based on your Charlotte Gainsbourg/Balenciaga post: do you know of any other good violet perfumes available right now? I find that scent rather difficult to find, and you always seem up on good perfumes!
Oooh i love  perfume ask, let’s see what i got:
Balenciaga / Balenciaga Paris: the flagship Balenciaga perfume, commissioned when their creative director was still Nicolas Ghesquière, and so slightly more off-centre than what they’ve done after NG left the brand. I feel like it’s the high point of a modern violet perfume: unsweet, but not unsoft. Emphasis on woods. Could be worn when projecting either a masculine or a feminine vibe. Slightly metallic, softens in time to the cool floral. Like a bitter Versper martini. Hitchcock blondes and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Elizabeth and James / Nirvana Black: ok hear me out, i know E&J are technically a celebrity scent, but don’t expect a sugarbomb at all, the Olsens know what they’re about when hiring perfumers. Also woodsy, but sandalwood, so several degrees warmer/softer than Balenciaga. Still a clean violent, but warm where the former is cool. No powder, but dries to a deep matte sensation, if scent could be tactile. (Also benefits from being available in rollerball.)
L’Artisan Parfumeur / Drole de Rose: this is where the more old-school violet personality comes out: that classic comforting delicate ‘make up/ powder’ vibe. The smell of a late 40′s powder puff vanity dresser, of a handbag holding delicately scented handkerchiefs and makeup compacts. Dry, but sweet. Petal-pink face powder applied with a pouffe. Juuuuuust a touch of softest leather, probably from the soft wallet next to your blush compact. Delightful.
Frederic Malle / Lipstick Rose: the bombshell - where DdR is delicate, LR is unashamed and out there in fire engine ref lipstain and a mink coat. It’s the make-up vibe turned up to 11, and worn by Monica Belluci. The violet and rose of a classic lipstick or compact, but with less powder, more rose, more fruit, and more oomph. MAC’s Russian Red, in perfume form. Proceed with caution, but like if you have any interest in caution LR is probably not for you. Amazing, but caveat emptor: not cheap.
Lolita Lempicka / Lolita Lempicka: if you like your violets gourmand, and or generally prefer a sweeter edible vibe. A strange syrup of liquorice, anise, and violet, with cherry/almond undertones, it can be love/hate for some people. I love it, and I don’t even generally like gourmands. The anise makes it sweet without being heavy, and a do like a good maraschino cherry. The violet note is clear and floral, but there’s a lot else going on here so it’s not the focus.
Apart from that, violet is used in very few old school/barbershop mens perfumes, but it’s been out of fashion as a scent for men for about 100 years now, so it can be hard to find in a spicy, overtly dry and/or cologne form.
Others I know of worth a mention is Lush’s Kerbside Violet, which is another more metallic/modern violet, and still powdery, but Lush have weird releasing schedules so it can be hard to find. I either own or am familiar with all of the above, but i might feel confident recommending 2 more unsniffed out of interest:
Santa Maria Novella / Violetta, as their quality is generally good and they lean extremely traditional, all killer no filler, classic european perfumery, if that’s your jam. Smell like a man whose shirts are monogrammed, and who has sunday lunch with nonna.
Histoires de Parfum / Blanc Violette, which i have yet to try, but honestly i’ve yet to have a bad HdP experience. I’m intrigued by the rice powder note, and HdP generally produce well-thought-out scents with good development/layers.

1. Favourite servant?
4. Which command seal design do you like the most?
5. Which game/light novel/manga is your favourite in the series?
Strange Fake
6. Favourite anime adaptation?
Me debato Zero o UBW.
7. Favourite opening?
Oath Sign - LiSA
8. Do you have a fate/oc? Describe them!
12. Name your notp.
13. Name a part of fate/ that makes you salty.
14. If you could change something from the canon, what would you?
15. Least favourite manga/game/light novel from fate?
16. Name a servant you want to beat up.

#Teradata studio not detecting java 8 mac mac#
It's a full-featured graphical database shell, like Toad, or RazorSQL, or other similar tools. There's an icon for the Teradata Studio Express on the desktop.
#Teradata studio not detecting java 8 mac password#
The database also comes configured with a user named "dbc" with password "dbc". If you manage to stop it, there's an icon on the desktop to restart it. Poking around, there appear to be other logins too, but I haven't tried any of them. It boots up to a super primitive-looking X login, but after you log in, the desktop appears to be Gnome 2 with a few SuSE customizations. The OS is apparently SuSE Enterprise 11, and VMware tools is already installed.
#Teradata studio not detecting java 8 mac mac#
"I Copied It" will just assign the NIC a new virtual MAC address. In this case, it's safe to click either "I Moved It" or "I Copied It". When you start it up, VMware will ask you if you moved or copied the VM.
#Teradata studio not detecting java 8 mac free#
It requires 4G of memory to run though, so make sure to shut down or suspend whatever else you might have to to free that up before you actually click Start or your system will be paging for the next 10 minutes. Running it is as simple as aiming VMware Player or Workstation at the vmx and clicking Start. It expands into a directory named TDE16.20.12.01 which contains a vmx file and a couple of vmdk files.
#Teradata studio not detecting java 8 mac download#
You have to create an account to download it, but once you do, you're presented with a 7z file that you can extract on linux as follows:ħza x TDExpress16.20.12.01_Sles11_20180620112938.7z Teradata Express is available as a VMware image. It turned out to be reasonably straightforward, but I did hit a few snags worth mentioning to anyone else pursuing the same goal.
#Teradata studio not detecting java 8 mac drivers#
A quick search revealed an Express version and ODBC drivers for every conceivable platform, so I figured it would be straightforward. I recently needed to get SQL Relay talking to a Teradata database. In the early 90's, I'm sure the term "terabyte" technically existed, but I doubt many people had actually spoken the word. Turns out, that was a Teradata database, and it had apparently been running for years (since 1992) when I finally heard about it. I couldn't even imagine the storage array. At the time, I couldn't even get my mind around how much data that was. In the late 90's I remember reading that Wal-Mart was data-mining more than a terabyte database of customer info. I always love when something has been around longer than the word for what the thing is. That's years before "data-warehouse" was even a term. Their EDW-focused database has been around since the mid-80's. When I try the connectivity from Teradata Studio Express GUI, it gives the following error: : Could not establish connection to jdbc:hive2://xx.xx.xxx.xxx:10000/default?=http .path=cliservice: .HttpHostConnectException: Connection to refusedĪt .(HiveConnection.java:286)Īt .(HiveConnection.java:199)Īt .DriverConnectionBase.internalCreateConnection(DriverConnectionBase.java:105)Īt .DriverConnectionBase.open(DriverConnectionBase.java:54)Īt .(HiveConnection.java:144)Īt .(HivePingFactory.java:44)Īt .(PingJdbcJob.java:30)Īt .(PingJob.java:42)Īt .(Worker.java:54)Īnybody got any idea on what's happening here? Any pointers would be appreciated.Teradata, the company, has been around, in one form or another, since 1979. The custom webhcat-site.xml properties "" & "" won't help me out here. Not sure what's the default one for HDP or how a new one could be defined. However I don't find my conviction on WebHCat username it's asking of. Transaction isolation: TRANSACTION_REPEATABLE_READ The JDBC connection is working perfectly if I test it from the beeline shell. All the configurations namely the JDBC hostname, port, user/password, WebHCat host, port I'm providing as correct. I've been trying to connect my HDP cluster(2.1) from Teradata Studio Express 15.10 via Knox but couldn't succeed.

Mobster videos renew scrutiny on Turkey’s wealth amnesty law | Business and Economy News

Mobster videos renew scrutiny on Turkey’s wealth amnesty law | Business and Economy News
Tumblr media
Istanbul, Turkey – YouTube videos of convicted Turkish mob boss Sedat Peker accusing government officials of corruption and more have captivated millions in recent weeks and are renewing scrutiny on a Turkish law critics say provides a convenient loophole for money laundering and criminal activity to thrive.
A “wealth amnesty” law that took effect in November allows individuals and companies to repatriate previously undisclosed cash, gold, foreign currency, securities, and other assets held abroad, or declare assets held in Turkey, without incurring a tax penalty.
The amnesty, championed by the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), ostensibly aims to boost Turkey’s pandemic-hit economy.
Former economy minister and serving AK Party MP Mustafa Elitas told Al Jazeera the government did not forecast in advance how much wealth would come to light as a result of the amnesty, which is due to expire on at the end of this month. But, he said, the law is still beneficial.
“It is important because it brings in additional hidden sources [of wealth] into our economy,” he said, calling on Turks to take advantage of the amnesty.
In March, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged Turkish citizens to seize the opportunity to bring “our national wealth” out of the shadows and invest it to help the economy.
Tumblr media

But financial crimes experts and members of Turkey’s opposition say the law is riddled with loopholes criminals can use to wash clean ill-gotten gains.
Under the amnesty, assets can be repatriated from abroad with no questions asked. It also allows third parties, including legal representatives, shareholders of companies, or proxy representatives, to declare assets.
That means assets held abroad in tax havens through shell companies can find their way into Turkey with little to no scrutiny as to how they were acquired or by whom. Assets can even be carried into the country in a suitcase and declared with no further inquiries about their origins.
Critics say this creates an opening for foreign criminals to use Turks to launder so-called “black” money.
“The wealth amnesty can create a risk of introducing black money or income obtained through unregistered ways into the system if it is done in a way that does not take adequate precautions, question the source of the money or ignores thereof,” Transparency International Turkey Chair Oya Ozarslan told Al Jazeera.
“Considering that money laundering requires committing other crimes such as drugs, terrorism, etc and waiting for an opportunity to enter the system to be cleared, this risk is important,” she added.
But supporters of the law say such criticisms are unfounded.
“This is completely false,” former Deputy Prime Minister Cevdet Yilmaz told Al Jazeera. “All of these issues were taken into account when drafting this regulation. We concentrated on issues such as terrorism financing and illicit money. We ruled out such scenarios when drafting the regulation. As a result, they have no right to make these claims.”
Last fall, as the law was being drafted, Deputy Finance Minister Osman Dincbas, who was removed from his post in January, pushed back on those opposed to the amnesty, noting that there were already systems in place to safeguard against money laundering, including MASAK – the country’s Financial Crimes Investigation Board – and global watchdog the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
How much money, gold, jewellery, and other valuables were brought into the country?
Erdogan Toprak, MP with the Republican People’s Party
Loosening regulations to attract assets
The wealth amnesty, which took effect in November, is the latest iteration of similar laws passed in 2008, 2013, 2016 and 2018. But previous versions imposed a small tax penalty on disclosed assets while the current law imposes zero levies.
Critics say AK Party lawmakers have repeatedly loosened the regulations not only to attract assets hidden abroad but to allow wealthy local supporters to repatriate undeclared wealth and disclose assets held inside the country without facing much scrutiny.
“Today, if someone comes to the border and claims to have brought 30 million euros, all they have to do is fill out a form for the public prosecutor and the Financial Crimes Investigation Board,” said Professor Nedim Turkmen, an expert on international financial transactions and Turkish tax law at Galatasaray University.
Turkmen noted that under the current law, a person can deposit money in a Turkish bank one day and withdraw it the next to cleanse it of any criminal affiliations.
“What bothers me most is that this regulation is not only aimed at bringing in assets from abroad but also allows unregistered assets already in Turkey which might be obtained illegally, especially via graft, tender rigging, etc by bureaucrats and government officials to be whitewashed,” he said.
During the first amnesty in 2008, more than 47 billion lira ($5.4bn at current exchange rates) of assets were registered, generating in excess of 1.5 billion lira ($173m) in tax revenue. In a further blow to transparency, the amount of wealth declared under the current amnesty is not made public.
“We don’t know how much wealth was legalised as a result of the recent amnesties and regulations,” said Erdogan Toprak, an opposition MP with the Republican People’s Party (CHP).
“How much money, gold, jewellery, and other valuables were brought into the country? The total value of the assets is no longer available to the public,” he told Al Jazeera.
A fragile economy
Erdogan’s government does face a pressing need for foreign exchange and other hard assets.
Like the rest of the world, Turkey’s economy was battered by COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions. But it entered the pandemic on relatively fragile footing, thanks to debt-fuelled growth policies that have made Turkey heavily dependent on external financing and vulnerable whenever investor sentiment turns against its currency, the lira.

Though Turkey was one of the few countries to actually register positive growth last year, the International Monetary Fund recently noted, “the same policies that buoyed growth also exacerbated pre-existing vulnerabilities”.
Turkey’s foreign exchange reserves have been gutted, and annual inflation is running north of 16.5 percent.  The lira has lost nearly 20 percent of its value since March when Erdogan shocked investors by sacking a market-friendly central bank governor – the third chief he’d shown the door in two years.
Questions over the rule of law and Erdogan’s spats with NATO allies, most notably the United States, have also heaped pressure on the lira.
Corruption and gangsters
While the wealth amnesty is framed by its supporters as a way to prop up Turkey’s economy, some critics contend that it exacerbates the country’s financial woes by facilitating corruption by those with close ties to the government.
“These are actually assets stolen from the country and its people by government-allied companies and individuals who transferred their billion dollars’ wealth into tax havens,” Garo Paylan, an MP from the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) told Al Jazeera.
“Corruption, nepotism, graft, and tender rigging were used to obtain them. The AK Party is attempting to whitewash those illicit assets because it knows it will be voted out soon,” he said.
The latest amnesty also comes amid growing concern that foreign gangsters are increasingly basing themselves in Turkey.
Headlines of murders and armed clashes between foreign mafia groups, particularly in Istanbul, are routinely splashed across newspapers in the country.
But the problem is not necessarily restricted to foreign criminal elements. According to former Istanbul Police Chief Adil Serdar Sacan, international mobsters are gaining a foothold in Turkey with the help of local gangsters.
“A foreign mafia member would never come to Turkey without the knowledge, guarantee, and support of his local partners,” he told Al Jazeera.
“What we see today tells us that certain circles within the existing government work together with the mafia. Even mafia leaders openly say that,” he added.

Those accused of crimes by Peker denied any wrongdoing. But the videos further tarnished Turkey’s already battered image [File: Umit Bektas/Reuters]
Sedat Peker, the Turkish former gangland boss, began posting videos in May, making uncorroborated charges of corruption and other criminal acts against government officials, including Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.
All those accused by Peker have denied any wrongdoing. But the videos have further tarnished Turkey’s already battered image when it comes to illicit activity.
Turkey has long seen heroin trafficked across its borders from Afghanistan to Europe, as well as people and arms. Billions of dollars from these illegal enterprises often end up in offshore accounts and critics suspect some of it is finding its way to Turkey via the country’s wealth amnesties.
Turkey has faced pressure from FATF to combat the washing of black money more effectively. FATF did not respond to Al Jazeera’s request for an interview.
But some would like to see global sheriffs bring more pressure to bear on Ankara.
“Independent international institutions should be more vocal about these issues,” a senior official in Turkey’s finance ministry, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Al Jazeera.
“I really stopped counting the number of these amnesties. Enough is enough,” he added.
Former economy minister Ufuk Soylemez said the amnesty is also viewed poorly by everyday, law-abiding Turks.
“People who make an honest living and pay their taxes feel offended by these amnesties,” he told Al Jazeera.
And some say the law’s benefits pale in comparison to the damage it is inflicting on Turkey’s long-term economic health.
“Because of a lack of transparency, a democratic deficit, and other negative factors, Turkey is no longer a country in which to invest,” said Toprak. “This further harms the already damaged image of our country and scares off foreign investors.”

What do service members with combat roles do when they're stationed somewhere that isn't a war zone? (And is there a particular difference in duties for them between being stationed in the States versus a safe overseas base like Germany or South Korea?)
That basically sums up my entire military service: 14J is a combat arms MOS, but we don’t typically see ground combat and we aren’t really in war zones. We only get to do something if someone starts shooting missiles around.A thought: I personally consider South Korea to be a Not Safe deployment given North Korea’s vicinity. I mean, we get hazard duty pay there like we do when deployed to a combat zone. Like I don’t even think I got HDP when I was in the Middle East because it wasn’t a combat zone. I was there when Kim Jong Un took over and we were basically on hard lock down for two months because we were so concerned over what he’d do once he found everything at his disposal. We’re a combat arms MOS, and we’re doing our job real time when in Korea, but just because nothing is happening...does that really mean we’re not doing anything? Does it really mean we’re safe? Just a thought.
Beyond that we spend most of our time maintaining our equipment and training and most of all, waiting. We go to work around 6am, do PT for an hour or so, then get released to eat and shower and come back around 9am and do whatever is assigned for us that day.
We take inventory and do PMCS (preventative maintenance checks and services) on our vehicles and equipment. We might get classes or lectures or study for upcoming examinations. We sometimes have appointments during the work day as well. We clean, we volunteer for details, we do busywork. Basically we’re dependent on our command to give us instructions on what to do and we’re just bodies to do whatever task is asked of us.
Every other month or so (or sometimes every month if your unit is bored) we have a field exercise, which can last from a few days to a month. Field exercises are basically just war games: we pretend we’re at war and we go through all the steps that entails. We form our crews/teams and we get our assignments and go to a war time schedule, sending faux reports and engaging simulated enemies.
It might not be so bad if at least our field exercises were fun, but our war games aren’t very realistic, at least they weren’t in Air Defense. They have to simulate several months of war time in an hour, so we wind up getting a ton of random nonsense thrown at us just to see how we react. They shoot twenty pretend missiles at us with two minutes warning to simulate several months worth of attacks and then judge our actual war-time competency on how fast we take out a threat that has a 0.00000000001% chance of actually happening, and then because those “battles” are over so fast they wind up having us run these high-stress low-realism exercises over and over and over again for hours to eat up time. Of course the systems aren’t meant to engage in such incredibly bizarre and unrealistic battles so they wind up glitching and going down which means we get to waste time troubleshooting while being yelled at for breaking our equipment. Honestly I don’t even know how much tax payer money is wasted on fixing equipment that got broke during an unnecessary time-wasting exercise. I don’t think you want to know either.I experienced the same thing while on RSOP. We’d run the same drills over and over until even our NCOs were sick of it. We’d waste time pounding old ground rods with a sledgehammer, made a game of it: the one who got it in in one hit won. It gets boring after a few hours but when it’s your only method of entertainment...
Sometimes we wind up with nothing to do at all and our leadership has us spend the whole day cleaning the same room over and over again, buffing and waxing the same floors again and again, or reorganizing storage containers we reorganized a few weeks ago, or god forbid a few days ago. Some people specifically sought out even mundane duties like shredding documents. Everyone begged to be put on arms room or commo room duty because then at least we could go in there and actually do something. My unit was very reluctant to admit that it had nothing for us to do. It wasn’t entirely uncommon for us to show up for work at 9am and sit there on stand by waiting for orders that are supposedly coming until 5pm. I’m not kidding we’d show up they’d say “hang out here until you get orders” and then they’d leave and they’d poke their heads in every now and then to make sure we were still there and then they’d just leave us there for hours instead of like. idk...releasing us until we were needed?? But that suggestion is blasphemous. It teaches us patience to wait, you know, teaches us character. Sitting for hours with little to no mental stimulation, enjoyment, or comfort. It’s good for us. And after all, they remind us, we’re getting paid a salary to just sit there and do nothing, aren’t we?This is often why soldiers will prefer to be deployed and will waive their dwell time after deployment so they can get back over there. You’d be surprised how many soldiers would rather be deployed than be in the position I just described to you. You get paid better when deployed and you usually aren’t expected to do as much time-wasting bullshit, and note that I say “not as much,” not “none.” I can’t say specifically but I can say vaguely that we did have a very moderate concern during deployment that we handled just fine, and I can say with complete confidence that our numerous, numerous, numerous exercises had not helped prepare us for it in any way.I can’t say this is the same across the whole army of course. Our reclasses -- soldiers who used to do other jobs before they took up their current one -- would tell us all the time that their old units never wasted as much time as Air Defense does. I think it’s the fact that there are so few missiles for us to actually shoot, making so few chances for us to actually do our job; it makes the higher ups stir crazy, makes them want to keep us working hard on nothing so at least they feel productive.
As always I encourage those with differing experiences to share and for those interested to check the notes of this post just in case!

*Yui wakes up*
Yui: Kanato-kun...? I'm sorry, I'll move right away... Kanato: More important than that ...are you an idiot? Yui: Eh...? Kanato: In your back you have a paper, witch says with a terrible writing ''She's mine''. Yui: Ehhh!? Yui: (Subaru-kun...! Ahh!)
~The end~ @totallydiabolik
ESPAÑOL~
Lugar: Living Sakamaki.
Subaru: Oi
*Le toca la espalda*
Yui: Q-qué? Yui: (De repente, Subaru-kun golpeó mi espalda...)
*Subaru se aleja*
Subaru: Nada. Yui: (De verdad...?)
Yui: Ah... Subaru: Nn... esta desbordando... Mm... Yui: ...Oye, ya... Subaru: Quédate quieta. La sangre sigue saliendo... Subaru: Si no te quedas quieta entonces... HA... MmMM... Yui: Ouch...! Yui: (Lo hizo a propósito...!) Yui: Ya basta... Subaru: *Besos* Mm... Nn... Subaru: Ahora chuparé del otro lado... Haa... Yui: *Sonrojada* No... Mm... Yui: Mm... Yui: (Subaru-kun esta celoso. Me pone un poco feliz...) (HDP xDDD) Subaru: Nn... Subaru: No te daré a nadie...
Subaru: Hehe... eres linda, Yui.
*Funde*
Yui: Ehhh!? Yui: (Subaru-kun...! Ahh!)

LS-Powered Pro Touring 1966 Chevelle
As someone who sacrificed to do so, I always figured that keeping your first car is the ultimate measure of an enthusiast’s resolve. I mean, yeah, there are a handful of us who can brag of keeping their first car that they bought new. But I always felt like it couldn’t get much better than that.
Then I met Doug Vanderschuere. Whatever bragging rights I felt I had suddenly felt pretty weak; more than his first, this car has been in his family since new. And his parents didn’t just buy it new; they ordered it. But not even that compares to this next part: a month after they took delivery of it, they took delivery of their son, Doug. Yeah, this Doug. I mean, the thing could be a clapped-out Celebrity sedan and I’d still get warm and fuzzy about it just for that story. (I’m sentimental that way.)
As luck would have it, Mr. and Mrs. Vanderschuere bought the right car. And it was the perfect car for a newly minted gearhead in the early ’80s. “I drove friends around town and on road trips for years,” he recalls, relating a story about how he, one of those friends, and the friend’s father rebuilt the engine over the summer after high school. “I continued to drive it occasionally after I was married and even brought our first born home from the hospital with this Chevelle.” The arrival of a second kid kind of put the Malibu on the back burner, specifically his dad’s machine shed. “I knew someday I would restore it.”
But unlike most who aspire to restore, Doug actually followed through. “When we started the project the car had been covered in a shed for about 14 years,” he reveals. “We noticed the rust spots had gotten worse, the interior was ruined by rodents, and a few new dents and scrapes were on the body.” Rather than get it running again, Doug and his dad, Dick, began disassembling the car and labeling the pieces.
Doug had a good idea of how the car would go back together. “Over the years, I followed trends in car magazines and went to an occasional car show, but when I first saw Pro Touring cars I knew that was the direction I wanted to go,” he says. “The idea of re-engineering some of the systems while keeping the car clean, simple, and elegant captivated me.”
Naturally, the path wasn’t quite as straightforward as Doug anticipated. “The most challenging part of this project was adapting to the expanding scope and level of detail that we ended up with,” he admits. “I initially thought it would take three years to complete, but once I decided to do the LS swap and raise the level of finish I wanted, I had to reset the timeline several times.”
Doug relinquished the advanced tasks to the pros at A&M Deluxe Customs. “They were a very big part in bringing this car from concept to its final state,” he insists. The A&M crew did all the metal restoration; a lot of fabrication, including the dash, firewall, and air intake; and even much of the closeout work like plumbing, assembly, and fit-and-finish. So pleased is Doug that he said he’d change only one thing: he’d install electric cutouts in the exhaust system to make two modes, “one for nice enjoyable cruising and another loud enough for my father.”
It’s safe to say that Doug Vanderschuere has a lifetime of stories. Even the reconstruction part is woven into the family lore. “Over the six years of the re-engineering project, I truly enjoyed spending evenings and weekends with my father in his shop wrenching on it and just talking about things,” he says. Which really gets to the heart of what actually matters: the people. The cars merely bring us together.
And for a car to actually bring a family together, well that’s probably more romantic than any of that other stuff about owning a car for a long time. CHP

Enigma
God dammit my lecturer is a savage!
Lol mcm mana menjengkelkan pun dia, I can’t help but to find him kinda,, umm..unique??
I mean he’s an artist so there’s a huge reason that probably influence him like that
Or maybe sbb I have a little background, pernah experience a glimpse of artist life that’s why cara dia tu still aku boleh accept
Ofc he’s not the best or friendliest artist I’ve known
But AT LEAST DIA PUNYA PERANGAI TU STILL BOLEH TAHAN drpd coach teater lol
Cara dia ckp(baca: membebel) pasal student bising, cara dia ckp pasal asyik diaaa je kena suruh buat design n the way he ignores people makes me curious tho
Like he’s presumably org yg xbnyk ckp or prefer to be pendiam
But that’s absolutely a different case bila dia dh mula critic HAHAHA DIA PUNYA ROAST TU SAKAI BHAI LASER GILLER
So this is what happened today
Peraturan yg tak disepakati dlm kelas beliau:
Jgn kasi chance utk dia membebel kalau tak..hohohoho!!!! xD
Dia laser lagi lancau drpd Ustaz Rizwan fst dulu hahaha
Dahla td kelas habis awal
Dia kasi brief pasal nk buat propa poster MH370(sial ah why ada isu baru timbul kalau x dia terus lupa nk assign tugas tu huhuhu)
Tapi entah cemana dia boring sgt tetiba lanjut cerita pasal logo ftmk haritu
Eh kejap mula2 dia masuk cerita pasal sketch haritu
Oh igt dah, mula2 td dia suruh class cari mentor2 yg tersembunyi dlm class ni
Means, siapa yg ada basic psv n those design kids yg tool pros
“Berkawan, jgn jdkan keldai..^^”
Mohon terasa
But im still baik let u blanje sbb i tahu i am an amateur n u guys pun i tahu xnk bljr melukis sbb xminat
Kau pun luangkanlah masa ajar sikit2 apa yg kau reti kt aku yg xreti, i know mostly semuanya autodidact+time+will but still, baru lah namanya win2 situation ^^
lol DO MY STATISTICS pls
Yg plg buat aku fluster is..
Ok it will be funny kalau Sir actually would allocate one lab session utk aku jd instructor melukis korg HAHAHA AKU PANGGIL RIFQAH JE BOLEH DIA TU BUDAK GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR REAL BRUHH
Apa ehh aku nk ajar kt korg kalau gitu? Nk buat bulat pastu bahagi 4 mcm kelas lukisan animation? Lol aku pun xbuat mcm tu unless terpaksa
15 tahun lukis baru la kau perasan berapa bnyk kau improve n terus evolve. Situ kau tahu kau slow learner ke fast learner. Budak2 skrg umur 14, lukis guna Wacom dh mcm pro giller. Aku umur 14 proportion mmg astaghfirullah..!
And then this thing..
The second time dia offer aku
Nk psycho aku lg skali lh tu
Tournament. Start bulan 4.
Ceyy nk nmpk cool sikit aku hesitate
But lemme tell u this
I kasi excuse yg plg jujur buat pembaca kt sini
SUMPAH AKU TAKUT WEH
MMG LA BLANJA SEMUA SPONSOR TANGGUNG TAPI SAPE JE MAU KENE GASAK DLM CUBIC BUAT KEJE SORG2 PRESSURE SORG2 ASYIK HADAP PAKAR NEGARA YG KEJAM
Keje design aje mmg dh xtido
dasar hati tisu
Hdp ni je dh cukup tabah. Elok lg la drpd haritu lari dari stpm.
Dulu aku masih boleh survive dgn adanya kwn2 yg actually nk amik seni n supportive..n u know what?
I admire their determination n never give up
Hati kental muka tembok telinga kebal
That’s what tru budak seni bagi aku
And they finally deserve their place after their outstanding effort
Unlike me yg so much dependant. Still kene psycho oleh ayah aku utk buat kereta. Sobs sobs. No worries daddy ur still a man of inspiration
I wanna be looked for who I am and what I can actually do. Bukannya sbb terpalit dgn segala kelebihan. Those are not me.
And if I bnyk kekurangan, I am willing to be taught because I wanted to. It’s my choice.
Pastu kalau kau duduk dlm kls design, pakar design akn cakap design, kalau kau dlm kelas network, pkr network akan ckp network. Paham kan?
Lepas tu…let the critic session begin!
Hyperbola utk situation ni mcm ko kene soal, libas dgn malaikat penjaga kubur tp dlm time frame Mizan slps Mahsyar nuh
Pergh, punyala nk kasi hyperbola mcm pernah lalu
Memalu-nakutkan bukan? Hahahaha
Sepatutnya kalau tak perlu bukak satu persatu kan best
Papar je semua dlm satu screen n then shortlist yg terbaik
Mcm paper spm..lol (aku tahu la sbb ni ayah aku punya keje..mmg rare ah nk dpt score elok)
Boleh thn jugak budak design lelaki class kita. Perempuan yg bagus setakat aku nmpk td pun Amel. Yep. Yg tu aku caye, sbb dia boleh buat video n menang first prize.
Lol ni semua pun sbb bermula drpd dr randomly complain kenapa batch yg dia ajar kalini suka 'berjalan'
I was like, huh? What's wrong with that? Dlm lab biasa pun diorg(bukan aku lah) jln rata2 sembang blablabla
Katanya senior sbelum ni bising still ya ampun tp bila suruh buat kerja, statik kerja(buat sungguh2)..ini tidak..berjln rata cerak tgk kwn, kerja sendiri xbuat pun
Ok maybe salah kami jugak sbb mengabaikan dia kt dpn- yg semestinya khusyuk memerhati, pastu sempat lg main face time lol..(tp aku waktu tu dh siap kerja)
Kira ok la tu drpd sedap2 gi seret bean bag pastu tido kt tgh karpet tu mntg2 ptg kan hahahahaha
So yeah..sapa nama tgh2 terlepas kena critic tu huntunglahhh
Aku pun kena critic gak
So apapun, i try to maintain rupa as professional as possible bcs i really wanna learn, kan?
Nasib baik juga sesi critic ni xberlarutan..haduh..*nervous laughter*
Tp hadiahnya…hari khamis xde lab!
HORAAYYY
..tp ada labtest >:)
Fuh selamat jadual balik aku
So kesimpulannya,
Nk taknak ko hdp je la
I believe ini semua plan admin faculty semacam mana subjek programming
You know..letak tenaga pakar sbg pengajar diploma sbb nk cari org utk that tournament
Seems legit, kan?

Ps3 Media Server.
Faz aparecer Stuntplane: bola, cima, L1, L2, baixo, R1, L1, L1, esquerda, esquerda, X, Triangulo. Myth, Assassins Creed, GTA and Borderlands appear rather popular games for ladies! Money earned from these tasks as well as side missions can be made use of to upgrade and buy equipment, providing the game some RPG-depth in advance of just what the GTA collection has actually generally offered. Ps3 which is among the preferred gaming console allows you access games, video clips, music and also images any time and also share them with your family and friends. Before the similarity Skyrim, The Witcher and also GTA V Red Dead Redemption was the king of the genre. Experience just what it is like to be a true superhero in this preferred PS3 unique game. The gameplay in Bully is both complete and unique of flexibility, interesting any kind of GTA fan. Followers of the GTA series will really feel right at home with the design of gameplay supplied by the Saints Row collection. Sleeping Pets does not feature multiplayer yet does permit close friends to compare a variety of stats via online leader boards. The gameplay of the Mafia collection is really similar to GTA yet instead focuses on the early- to mid-1900s. The basic version of IMVU is complimentary to play but customers can gain added benefits by paying actual money to get credit scores. Additionally, Remote Play allows the PS3 to be switched on as well as off from another location and permits the PSP to regulate audio playback from the PS3 to a house cinema system without needing to make use of a television. Please share it in the remark section if you recognize of one more video game like GTA that isn't on this page. With current mod tools making setup really easy there is currently little obstacle to modding your preferred GTA video game. A cost-free social-focused video game, Club Cooee is an online globe concentrated on fashion, purchasing, as well as customising your character. Gameplay is generally focused on the driving aspect, which attracts heavily from the GTA franchise business. The updates could be downloaded straight from the Internet making use of the Network Update feature. Most women will enjoy a video game of Uno, Peggle, Plants versus Zombies, and also Geometry Battles. I believe that I have almost invested just as much time playing mods of GTA as playing the real video games themselves, simply due to the fact that the possibility of mods is restricted only to the minds of their creators (which is limitless). A complimentary video game where The Sims meets MMO, Secondly Life is integrates deep character customisation and also limitless creation in an enormously multiplayer online video game that you could check out free of cost. A free online social ready older gamers, IMVU is a website where members make use of 3D characters to chat, meet people, as well as play games. While mods for the earlier video games are rather unusual the surge of mod tools and mod communities has actually made modifying your favorite game an usual past time. The Simpsons Struck & Run is an unique alternative on this page and attract people that are more thinking about the driving components of the GTA series.
