Everything hurts for Alpha!Bakugou when he goes into rut. And it hurts even more when your scent lingered around his room from when you guys hung out yesterday.
He’s gonna regret having his phone in his hand right now, he just knows it. Because he has your contact info opened and he’s contemplating ruining the friendship you two have carefully built.
You and him were not just friends but best-friends, since the second year of high school. And ever since then, he’s has a thing for you. His inner alpha goes crazy whenever you’re near, that or its contempt. You guys even happened to end up being neighbors.
And that was all gonna be ruined because he was ringing your phone right now. You answered after 3 rings.
“Whats up?”
He couldn’t help but to wrap his hand around his cock at the sound of your voice. He started a steady pace, trying to respond clear and hoping you couldn’t hear his cum soaked hand going back and forth for the… who knows how many times now.
“Where are you?”
Good. He managed to sound normal, but it came out quiet. It worried you.
“I’m at my place.”
“Come over.”
He said it before he could stop himself. This rut especially hurt and it was making him do things he might regret.
“Why? Are you okay? You sound… weird.”
He sounded weird? He thought he sounded normal. It didn’t matter, he was about to cum from listening to your voice.
“I’m fucking fine. Just… come over…”
“Well, can it wait? I have-“
“Tell me about your day.”
You had to notice he was acting weird now. This was so out of character for him. But he needed to hear your voice to finally get a fraction of his relief.
“Huh? Okay, well… I went-“
As you rambled he pulled on his dick to a picture of you he took one day at the beach of you in that bikini he liked (with your permission, he said it was for Mina).
He was getting close, having to bite his lip to conceal the groans and moans threatening to spill.
His tugging was getting faster and faster as you went on until finally he climbed he got to his high.
Before he could stop himself, he moaned loudly into the camera. He came in ropes all over himself. The other line was silent as he steadied his breath.
The clarity hit him like a bus as his high came down. And just as he began to panic and think up a worthy apology, you spoke.
“I’m coming over.”

Minnesota governor Tim Walz continues to make big moves towards improving lives of Minnesotans
Minnesota state jobs no longer require a college degree! Folks who couldn't afford to go to college have a whole new range of job opportunities.
Yeah, the weather sucks, but I love being a Minnesotan.

Fuck it Friday!
I was tagged by @wikiangela @giddyupbuck @daffi-990 thank you <3
Soooooooo, yesterday I remembered this random ass idea that was more of a concept than an idea, but like, you know how jeeps have the whole ducking thing where you leave ducks in jeeps? Well, I had the brilliant "Buck is sad he never got ducked, the whole firefam individually decides to do something and oh my god that's so many ducks" and this is two lines away from being a full-on crack fic where I try to figure out how many members of the firefam I can make Buck ran into in a day while ensuring he finds at least one duck after every interaction while never really thinking about how he said he never got a duck and now he has ten of them conveniently placed and themed after he saw member of his family. There are some minor buddie vibes because apparently, I am incapable of writing an Eddie that's not at least a little bit in love with Buck and I don't know where that's going but have a little bit of it anyway. (also please appreciate the fact that I'm doing something that's exclusively supposed to be funny it doesn't happen often soaksokasokaoksoaksas)
“Apparently people leave ducks for jeep owners?” The probie said, giving Buck a questioning look. “It’s called ducking. You just leave a duck for the person to find,” Buck shrugged, shifting around on the couch like he didn't like where the conversation was going. “But you don’t have any ducks?” Hen asked, making Buck sink further into his seat, pressing onto Eddie's side. “I've left a few but you’re not supposed to get them for yourself, and no ever left me one, so no, no ducks for Buck,” he said with a chuckle, but he was spared from dealing with the way the whole team was looking at him because the alarm went off before anyone could say anything else.  The call had ended up being a five-alarm fire so they didn't come back to the station until the shift was over and no one was really thinking about ducks by then.  Not that that stopped Eddie from sitting on his computer later that day with multiple rubber ducks in his Amazon cart after what honestly felt like hours because he kept finding one he thought Buck would like better than the one before.  So it was probie's fault.  Because he couldn't get over the disappointment on Buck's face even if he was trying to hide it. So he did what any reasonable person would do when their best friend gets upset about something easily fixable.  He decided to buy a damn rubber duck to leave in Buck's Jeep.

Cyn I am thinking about your store au i am shaking you do you have ideas
YES IN FACT I DO
ok so since i haven’t actually talked about it before in depth: let’s talk about Bad and Skeppy, cause why not?
In this au, as discussed in this story, Sapnap found out about storage instinct through an incident with Bad being in danger and Sapnap storing him. What I haven’t discussed was what happened after that. In the story I just said he “took Quackity and Karl and never went back.”
So, after the incident, Sapnap very literally did just that. Him and his boyfriends had been talking about finding somewhere else to live, so after Sapnap let Bad out (Bad had passed out cause of fear and exhaustion and at that point it was pretty much the middle of the night, so Sapnap was able to sneak him into his house without waking Skeppy), he went to his house with Quackity and Karl and asked them to move out asap.
Quackity went to talk to Sam (his dad) and his sister (Tina), who said it was ok, and Karl didnt have a family (he was taken in by Bad, Skeppy, and Sam during his early teens when his colony had been raided) so he was down with it, too. Sapnap told them that Bad and Skeppy were good with it and that he’d already said his goodbyes and grabbed his stuff, so after Quackity and Karl said their goodbyes (to everyone except happy duo, Sapnap begged them not to talk to them [they found this odd but did as Sapnap asked]), they made their way out of the forest, never to return.
Meanwhile, Bad had woken up and was immediately on edge and panicking over what had happened the night before. Eventually Skeppy woke up and tried to calm him down, but nothing worked. Worse yet, Bad wouldn’t say a word about it. Not about how he was feeling, not about why he was panicking, only asking where his son was. Skeppy obviously didn’t know, and Bad wasn’t exactly about to go and look for him. He spent all day in his bedroom crying and trying to figure out what had happened, Skeppy staying by his side all day to comfort him without fully understanding why, but it wasn’t helping. Bad wouldn’t spill. After all, how was he supposed to tell his husband that his son almost ate him, killed him? He couldn’t. Even if Skeppy and Bad were both well aware that Sapnap was a shifter (something that all three of them [and no one else: they’d vowed to keep it a secret] had learned a few weeks prior in a horrifying way), this was something completely different. So he sobbed in silence.
The first day Sapnap didn’t come to their home (what he usually did on a daily basis), it was a relief. Bad refused to leave for fear of seeing his son, and Skeppy refused to let Bad be alone. The second day was the same. The third day, Skeppy became concerned, but still wouldn’t leave Bad. After all, Sapnap was pretty much a grown man, he could handle himself.
After a week and a half, Skeppy left the house to find his stepson. At that point, even Bad had become concerned. Even if he still didn’t want to see him, he didn’t want anything bad to have happened to him, despite everything. He was still his son.
But, after Skeppy approached Sam, he learned that Sapnap had left for good. Sam had seemed confused, saying that Sapnap had claimed he’d said his goodbyes, but Skeppy was shocked. Why would he have moved out without telling his dads? Did this have something to do with what was going on with Bad? Sam also mentioned that Sapnap had seemed very on edge the day he’d left, did that have to do with it?
Skeppy went home and immediately told Bad, who felt a mixture of relief and horror. Relief that nothing like what had happened to him could happen to anyone else he loved, and horror that he’d ever think something like that about his own child. He didn’t want their time together to end like this. They’d had an amazing relationship for their entire lives up until the past month, but now Sapnap was gone and no one had any way of knowing where he went off to.
Flash Forward a few years to the time of the present story-
Sam, Bad, Skeppy, and a few other friends they’ve managed to collect all live in pretty much the same area that they always did, growing it from just a couple families (like it had been when the fiancés were there) to a full on borrower colony. It’s been years and for the three dads, there’s still been pretty much no sign of their boys. For Sam, even Tina moved to a new colony, though she still sometimes comes to visit. For Bad and Skeppy, they’ve kept Sapnap being a shifter a secret, not that it matters much anymore. There’s been no contact, nothing to show them that their son and his fiancés are ok, nothing to even show they’re still alive, for all they know. Skeppy’s still hurt that Sapnap left with no warning and not even a note, and Bad just wishes something could have been different. He still hasn’t told anyone, not even Skeppy, what happened all those years ago; he can still barely stand to think of it himself. But that’s their past, and in their present, there’s not much food left in the area to scavenge. So, the three older members of their newfound colony go out in search of easy to reach food.
Wouldn’t luck have it that there was a whole human convenience store nearby?

Tina Fey, my beloved...
Lisa has always been in the top Ghibli crushes for me, along with Lin, Ursula, Osono; even direct antagonists like Dola, Lady Eboshi, and Kushana (among others) make this list in their own way (hoo boy competence is uber attractive); and obviously main characters like Sophie and Howl do too.
Of course I was crushing on all the teen characters at appropriate ages (Lettie, Ashitaka, San, and Nausicaä lasted the longest I think, all being around 16 or 17) but now they seem more like adorable (traumatized) little cousins. I'll watch Castle in the Sky and be like "...Dola and Muska could kinda get it though," since I'm too old now for the boyish charms of James Van Der Beek's Pazu to seem like anything grander than a 13-year-old trying to just stay alive and flirt with another 13-year-old along the way.
The more low-stakes, slice of life movies have fewer companions along the lines of Lin or Ursula and that breaks my nblw heart but it makes sense for those stories so I won't complain.
Ponyo knocked it out of the park with an insanely competent 25-year-old mom who is nurturing like Osono (no canon age given, some speculate she's supposed to be almost 30) and in that middle ground of youthfulness and maturity like Lin and Ursula (who are both supposed to be like 19 but sometimes give off vibes of approaching their 30s because of how knowledgeable and independent they have to be in their stories) who Sōsuke is able to trust whole heartedly to support him and look after him through every challenge because they're a team and they have to stick together, especially when Sōsuke's dad is out at sea. She's actually so great and I will die on this hill (or on the cliff since this is Gake no Ue no Ponyo/Ponyo on the Cliff we're talking about).
i’m obsessed with the mum from ponyo. driving single lane on a cliff edge? drift those turns in your nissan cube. husband has to work an extra shift? tell him to fuck off in morse code. pet fish turned into a child on your driveway? adopt her. town drowned in a tsunami? leave your 5 year old in charge, he’s the man of the house now

Cyn. Cyn I have a question for the Epic AU.
Kristen is a human and Phil is Tommy's dad and doesn't like humans (right?) so she can't be his mom. What happened to Tommy's biological mom? Doesn't really matter who she is but is that why Phil is so aggressive? Or do leaf men reproduce using flowers or some shit? Like dandelion opens and Phil goes "ah fuck I'm a dad now"
You’re exactly right!! Kristin is not Phil’s wife nor Tommy’s mom, but Tommy did have a mom at one point. And her not being around anymore is definitely a major reason why Phil is as cold and distant as he is now.
She died when Tommy was young, so he never really got to know the Phil that was a caring, kind king. He was taught some magic abilities by Phil since only leafmen who are biologically in the royal family have magic, and was taught how to read and write by Techno mainly (despite it being other people’s jobs; they just didn’t do it so Techno stepped in against Phil’s wishes), but Tommy mostly raised himself.
As for how Tommy’s mom died, no spoilers just yet >:)
