Feminists are not responsible for the discussion of consent becoming a thing, and there have always been people who recognized that a woman forcing herself on a man is rape. Fact is, the modern idea (as in, the modern version of the idea, because it originated before feminism) that women cannot rape is actively reinforced by a LOT of feminists (making it irrelevant that it came before them), who actively fight against allowing rape crisis centers to help men (even fighting against allowing there to be male-only rape crisis centers to be made separately). Feminists in India even fought against making rape gender neutral by law, and I had one of you idiots justify that to me by saying "oh, it was to avoid men falsely accusing women of rape for abuse purposes," which is the stupidest fucking excuse I've ever heard.

You genuinely think harassment wasn't recognized until feminism? Seriously?

You're an idiot. There has been a long-established culture practically across all societies that men are supposed to protect women, due to men being physically stronger. There has always been a MASSIVE stigma against raping women, to the point that up until modern society, women could literally get any man they want murdered (barring the rich and powerful) just by accusing them of rape. This has been carried into modern society to a thankfully lesser extent than before. This idea that men are physically stronger has led to a culture of viewing rape through the lense of the typical media "victim is overpowered, held down and raped," and this view of rape has existed for a LONG fucking time. That in mind, you would have to be an idiot to not understand that men being raped not being a "societal concern" is born from this idea that men are stronger, and this could just "force her off" so he must want it if a woman forces herself on him.

The idea that if it happened more than once in a blue moon, men would have "done something to cover their ass" is the most sociopathic bullshit I've ever heard in regards to this topic.
