Chapter 2: Cupcakes and Construction Sites Part two continuation
Part 1 ||| Part 2
The room was dark. There was a man standing in the corner with a whip in his hand. Wine bottles were laying on the dirty floor as a huge greenish black watch hund from the ceiling. There were four chairs and on them lay the dead bodies of your parents, Heeseung and Yuna. "Y/N!" The room spun around and around as your favourite song played from nowhere. There was a voice calling your name in a motherly tone. You were lured towards it. "Y/N. Please wake up!" You followed the voice and started falling and you wouldn't stop. Was this your fall from heaven? Or your descent to hell? You hadn't a single idea but you kept falling, accepting your fate. You were about to reach the ground when-
"She's awake! Heeseung she's awake! Darling oh my darling. We were so worried." You were in your bed and your mother was above you as your brother and Yuna lingered closed by. Your mother was in tears and you father was holding her by her shoulders. The family doctor, Seungkwan was also there. You got up slowly, still shaken by your dream. Dreams were something that was very important to your health. You had a mental condition to have very vivid dreams which you couldn't control. Usually these dreams occured when you were in intense pain, both physical and mental.
"Wha- what happened mum?" You said in such a weak voice that your mother burst into tears again. Yuna took your hand gently and explained "You fell into the big construction pile outside and hit your head Y/N. You got a concussion but thankfully you didn't have much blood loss. Seungkwan thinks that the fall must have triggered your dream thingy, cause you were shouting and shaking like crazy. Jay bought you up here. He was with you right?" Heeseung tightened his shoulders slightly and asked in a serious tone "What were you doing with Jay, Y/N?" You blinked twice and said "I was having a glass of wine with him by the sycamore tree. He invited me in the morning. I can show you the sticky note he put on my door with the message, Heeseung." Heeseung's eyes softened at that as he got up and went to Seungkwan who was standing awkwardly in the corner. After five minutes he came back and told your parents, "Mum, Dad. We should allow her to rest for a while. I think we should probably have dinner. Seungkwan told you to have dinner later Y/N." He shook his eyes towards you as you lay down again and let go of Yuna's hand. You were going to ask to meet Jay to thank him but you decided to thank him tomorrow. After all the fiasco that had happened to you was because you were too keen to stare into his eyes. Your mother kissed you on the forehead and your parents, Seungkwan, Heeseung and Yuna left you alone to sleep. As Yuna was about to exit, she doubled back to you, gave you a tiny pink box and said "Jay wanted me to give this to you. He said he was sorry to not have caught you in time." She smirked at her last sentence as she went on "By the way, we are going out tomorrow if you are feeling better. Heeseung wants to show the boys around your parents' part of town. Go to sleep now Y/N. Love ya." She got up and swiftly moved out your room, slamming the door behind her. Left alone, you slowly opened the pink box to find the remaining mint chocolate cupcake and a tiny handkerchief inside. You picked up the handkerchief and twirled it in your hands. It was silk and purple, embroidered with Hyacinths. As you were about to get up to keep the box in your mini fridge, a note fell out of the box. Picking it up, you opened it to find loopy handwriting and Jay's signature. The text of the note ran - 'I am sorry for not being able to save you in time. I give you this handkerchief as a sort of apology gift. I hope you like my embroidery.'
You sat on your bed again and kicked your feet in the air as you felt your head getting better by the second. Tomorrow was going to be a fun day. You would go on an excursion with Jay and you would get to stare at him again and you would be having fun with your family for once in a long time.
After a while, you felt good enough to go down for dinner. It was nine am but you didn't care. No one could stop your hungry monster of a stomach. You poked your head out the bedroom door to make sure everyone was in their rooms so that you avoided any sympathetic conversations. Taking note of the silence, you stepped out in your bath robe and your fluffy baby blue slippers and went straight down to the kitchens. You knew all the maids and chefs would have gone home by now so the kitchen would be empty, bar you and your ravenous stomach. The kitchen smelled like parsley, cumin and lemon and something else which. It was probably the head chef Felix, staying back late in order to experiment with the food. You sometimes helped him with his shenanigans and you always took full responsibility if you both were ever caught. His older brother Minho ran a bakery which was your favourite. Coincidentally it was where Jay had gotten the cupcakes from. You always joked that culinary skills probably ran in Felix's family.
The characters of Peter Pan were what your family used as code names. You were Wendy, Heeseung was Peter, your parents, Mr and Mrs Darling and Yuna got the honorable title of Tinker Bell. Why was Jay talking about killing your father? And why did he have no glint of emotion in his voice when he spoke that sentence about you? Your brain rushed into thoughts as you drifted off once again into troubled sleep.
Stepping into the main kitchen you opened the large fridge rather aggressively and found two big twin purple containers ok the second compartment which had the note 'I know you'll take this Y/N. I made your favourite' stuck to them. Felix probably found out about your little accident and made you something. He was a sunshine much like Sunoo and he and Sunoo usually spent time together whenever Jungwon and him would stay over. Inside the containers were your favourite Ramyeon and brownies, Felix's speciality. You sat on the clean blue, marble counter and ate the Ramyeon with your chopsticks straight from the container. You parents always encouraged you to do your own dishes, instead of asking the maids to so you did not want to be stuck cleaning both the container and a plate. You didn't take note of how late it was when you started the very short journey back to your room and mindlessly wandered onto one of the balconies of the mansion. The balconies always had the greatest view of the garden and the Seoul skyline. All the balconies I'm the mansion were next to each other so you could see anyone on the the balconies next to yours. You could hear some very interesting noises from Heeseung and Yuna's bedroom, but you abandoned it and turned, instead to look at a figure walking around on the third balcony to your right. You figured it must be Chan, who likes to walk around late and write poems in the moonlight. You decided to be a bit of a brat and scare Chan, so you descended downstairs and onto the stairs of the balcony he was on. On reaching the second last step, however you heard a voice which definetly did not belong to Chan. It didn't belong to any person you knew, who was currently staying in the house. It was of a cold tone which gave you chills, which wasn't from the cold wind blowing outside. However as the person moved towards the light of the lantern hanging outside, you recognised the familiar face. It was someone who looked and sounded like Jay, clad in the same outfit Jay was wearing when he was with you. He was talking to someone on the phone in a voice unlike the one he used when he talked with you. You could make out bits of the words he was saying. You heart, however, stopped when you heard his say a very peculiar sentence, "Mr. Darling will be killed in two days father. Although I do not want to upset Wendy." You stood in your tracks for five minutes and then ran out to your room as fast as you can before Jay could spot your hunched figure.

Chapter 11: Cal pt. 2
Meanwhile in an undisclosed location..
Valerie pressed the cold rag against Rhea’s burning forehead, her own hands trembling as she tried to keep her breathing steady. The fever had worsened over the past few hours, Rhea’s body convulsing in fits of shivering, her skin clammy and unnaturally pale. Valerie knew what was happening—toxic shock syndrome. The infection was taking hold, and if they didn’t act fast, Rhea wouldn’t make it through the night.
“Stay with me, Mamba,” Valerie murmured, brushing damp strands of hair away from Rhea’s face. “You gotta hold on.”
Rhea’s lips parted slightly, but no words came out. Her chest rose and fell in uneven breaths, her body trapped between fevered delirium and painful consciousness. She twitched, her fingers curling weakly against the sweat-soaked sheets beneath her.
Valerie bit her lip, her mind racing. They were running out of time. The man who took Rhea hadn’t exactly been kind—no proper medical treatment, barely enough water, and whatever wounds she’d sustained had clearly turned septic. Valerie had seen this before. She knew where it led.
The door creaked open, and Valerie tensed as a shadow entered the dimly lit room.
“What’s her condition?” The voice was deep, clipped, void of emotion.
Valerie didn’t bother looking up as she wrung out the rag and placed it back on Rhea’s forehead. “She’s dying.”
A pause. Then, a slow exhale. “Fix her.”
Valerie’s eyes snapped up, a glare cutting through the dim light. “She needs a hospital, antibiotics—actual medical care, not me dabbing her with a fucking wet cloth.”
The man—tall, broad, face obscured by the darkness—stepped closer. “That’s not an option.”
“She won’t last another twelve hours like this,” Valerie shot back. “You need her alive, don’t you? Then let me do my job.”
Silence stretched between them.
Then, the man sighed. “What do you need?”
Valerie clenched her jaw. “IV fluids, antibiotics, something to control the fever. And I need her moved somewhere cleaner—this place is a breeding ground for infection.”
The man was quiet for a moment before turning toward the door. “I’ll see what I can do.”
As he left, Valerie let out a slow breath, her hands trembling as she turned back to Rhea.
“Just hold on,” she whispered, gripping Rhea’s hand. “Dustin will be back with everything.”
After some time, Dustin stood in the doorway, his presence looming as he tossed the supplies onto the small table beside Valerie. IV bags, a vial of antibiotics, syringes—enough to keep Rhea from slipping further into the abyss. He watched as Valerie immediately got to work, her hands moving with practiced precision as she prepped an IV line.
“I should’ve let her die,” Dustin muttered under his breath, arms crossed.
Valerie’s hands paused for the briefest moment before she turned to face him. “This shit is getting—”
Before she could finish, Dustin moved. His hand shot out, gripping her hair and yanking her head back, forcing her to meet his eyes.
“Think long and hard about what you’re about to say,” he warned, voice dangerously low.
Valerie swallowed hard, but her gaze didn’t waver. Her scalp burned from his grip, but she refused to give him the satisfaction of reacting. Instead, she let out a slow breath and spoke evenly.
“Let me work on her.”
Dustin held her there for a second longer before releasing her, watching as she stumbled slightly before regaining her composure. She turned back to Rhea, rolling up the sleeves of her sweat-soaked shirt as she inserted the IV catheter into Rhea’s arm.
As the saline began to drip, Valerie murmured under her breath, more to herself than anyone else.
“You’re not dying today, Mamba.”
Dustin lingered for a moment before stepping back, his eyes flicking between Rhea’s pale face and Valerie’s determined one. Then, without another word, he exited the room, closing the door behind him.
After a few hours, Valerie exited the room after she managed to finally get Rhea’s fever down. She took one last look at Rhea, letting out a quiet sigh before stepping out and shutting the door behind her. She climbed the stairs with heavy steps, her mind racing, before finally reaching the surveillance room where Dustin sat, his eyes glued to the monitors.
“How long is your revenge going to take?” Valerie asked, arms crossed as she leaned against the doorframe.
Dustin didn’t look away from the screen, his expression indifferent. “Don’t tell me you’ve grown soft for The Black Mamba.”
Valerie’s jaw tightened. “I don’t want to do this anymore.”
Dustin let out a sharp chuckle, finally turning his head to look at her. “You should’ve thought of that before you approached me at Demetri’s funeral.”
At the mention of her ex-boyfriend’s name, Valerie flinched. Her eyes darkened, but she pushed forward. “There’s no use anymore! We could just put her in the van and drive back to Stamford.”
Dustin threw his head back in laughter. “That would be the day, huh?”
Valerie’s patience snapped. “We’ve done all we said we would do! For God’s sake, Dustin, her fingernails are gone! She’s bandaged up like a damn hospital patient! She is not The Black Mamba anymore!”
Dustin’s smirk wavered, but he stayed silent.
Valerie pointed at the screen, her voice rising. “That is not a trained assassin anymore! That’s a broken woman who probably doesn’t even have the strength to fight back. So tell me, Dustin, what more do you want?”
Dustin leaned back in his chair, his fingers tapping against the desk. “You don’t get it, do you?” He nodded toward the monitor. “She doesn’t have to look like The Black Mamba anymore. She just has to be her. And if you think that part of her is gone, you’re dead wrong.”
Valerie shook her head in frustration. “This isn’t revenge anymore, this is torture. And I won’t be a part of it.”
Dustin narrowed his eyes at her, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. “Then I suggest you tread carefully, Valerie. Because walking away? That’s not an option.”
June 14th, 2025
Rhea rubbed cocoa butter over her large tummy, her fingers gliding gently over the stretched skin. A small smile played on her lips as she felt a strong kick from inside.
“Jeyson, stop superkicking me,” she murmured, shaking her head as another nudge followed.
She washed her hands and exited the bathroom, stepping into the dimly lit bedroom. Jey was already in bed, leaning against the headboard, his muscular arms crossed over his chest as he watched her with an easy smirk.
He clapped his hands together. “Get your sexy self in this bed now.”
Rhea rolled her eyes but obeyed, making her way over with exaggerated slowness. As she climbed in, Jey reached out, running his fingers along the side of her belly before resting his palm against it.
“Did I ever tell you how complete you look?” he asked softly.
Rhea snorted. “Completely overweight?”
Jey made a tsk sound and shook his head. “Nah, Mami… completely beautiful.”
His voice was full of sincerity, and Rhea felt her chest tighten. Pregnancy had made her self-conscious, but with Jey, she never felt anything less than adored.
She sighed as he pressed a slow, lingering kiss to her stomach. “You always know what to say.”
Jey smirked, looking up at her. “That’s ‘cause I mean it.”
She ran her fingers through his short curls, relaxing into the warmth of his body beside her. The kicks inside her softened, as if Jeyson knew he was safe too.
“How about me and you tomorrow before the party, we go and pick out Jeyce’s birthday gift?” Jey suggested, his voice filled with that playful tone that always made Rhea smile.
Rhea frowned a bit. “Baby, I already picked it out for him,” she replied, her words slightly casual, as if she hadn’t even realized Jey was going to suggest going together.
Jey’s eyebrows shot up, surprised. “Baby!” he exclaimed. “You didn’t even give me a chance to be part of the fun!”
Rhea tossed him an apologetic smile, before kissing him softly on the forehead “Well, you didn’t answer the phone, and it was the last one. So, I went ahead and grabbed it.”
Jey pouted. “What did you get him then?”
Rhea smirked and proudly said, “I bought him an all-black record player with the vinyl Louder Than Bombs.” She added, “Don’t worry, I put ‘From Bonus Mommy and Daddy’ on the gift tag.”
Jey’s expression shifted from playful to confused. “Louder Than Bombs?” he echoed, raising an eyebrow. “What’s that vinyl?”
Rhea’s lips curled into a smile, “It’s an album by The Smiths.”
Jey’s confusion deepened. “The Smiths?” he repeated, sounding incredulous. “What’s so great about a band from the ‘80s? That’s way before Jeyce was even born!”
Rhea chuckled softly. “I know, it’s an old band. But the thing is, Jeyce has been spending a lot of time with Demi lately, and he’s gotten into them. There’s just something about the way their music resonates. It’s soft, melancholic, and honest—just like Jeyce in a lot of ways.”
Jey tilted his head slightly, trying to understand. “So you’re telling me you bought him a vinyl from a band that’s not even around anymore, and it’s because of Demi?”
Rhea nodded, her eyes gleaming with a mixture of affection and understanding. “Yeah. Jeyce has been going through a lot lately, and I think The Smiths speak to him in a way that most music doesn’t. It’s not about being modern; it’s about the depth in their lyrics, the way they capture the complexities of life.”
Jey’s gaze softened as he processed her words. “I guess I never really understood why people like The Smiths. I’ve heard their songs before, but I didn’t get it.”
Rhea reached for Jey’s hand, holding it gently in hers. “It’s not just about the music, Jey. It’s about connection. The way we connect with things that speak to us—whether it’s music, people, or something deeper. Jeyce sees something in their lyrics, something he can relate to. It’s not about the time or era; it’s about finding something that speaks to who you are in the moment.”
Jey stared at her for a long moment, the weight of her words sinking in. “So it’s more than just some vinyl. It’s about you understanding where Jeyce is at and showing him you get him, even if it’s through an old record.”
“Exactly,” Rhea replied softly, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.
Jey nodded slowly, finally understanding the thoughtfulness behind the gift. “You always know how to give gifts with meaning, don’t you?”
Rhea smiled, shrugging slightly. “I just want to make sure he knows we’re thinking about him, no matter how old he gets.”
Jey leaned forward, pressing a kiss to her stomach. “Well, I might not have understood the whole thing at first, but I get it now. And I’m proud of you for thinking about him the way you do.”
Rhea laughed softly. “It’s not about being proud, babe. It’s about being there for him when he needs us the most. And for now, music is his way of expressing it all.”
Jey wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. “Well, we’ll make sure he knows how much we love him—through vinyl and everything else.”
The next day, Jey and Rhea arrived at Sabrina’s Sweet Tooth, a cozy little bakery known for its irresistible treats. Rhea couldn’t help but smile as she stepped inside, the sweet smell of freshly baked goods wrapping around her like a warm hug. She approached the counter, looking at the young cashier with a pleasant smile.
“I’m here for a birthday cake,” Rhea said. “Should be under Fatu.”
The cashier nodded, gesturing toward the back of the shop. “I’ll grab it for you right away.”
As Rhea waited, she glanced around the bakery. But when she turned to look at Jey, he wasn’t standing beside her. Instead, he was bent slightly forward, his face inches from the display case. His eyes were locked onto something inside with a look of sheer wonder.
Rhea raised an eyebrow, amused. “Baby… what are you doing?” she asked, her voice playful as she walked up to him.
Jey didn’t even glance over at her at first. “It looks so good,” he murmured, clearly mesmerized by what he was staring at.
Rhea followed his gaze and soon found herself looking at a towering mountain of Oreo and chocolate chip cookie brownies. The perfect marriage of two decadent treats—brownies and cookies, piled high into what could only be described as heaven on a platter. The Brookie, as some people called it, was impossible to resist.
Rhea chuckled softly. “Which one, babe?” she teased, already knowing the answer.
Jey’s eyes stayed glued to the dessert, and with a small grin, he pointed toward the platter. “That glorious thing right there.”
Rhea tilted her head slightly, intrigued. “That one?” she asked, still teasing.
Jey turned to her then, his expression breaking into a wide grin. “I want the whole platter.”
Rhea raised an eyebrow. “You’re serious?”
Jey didn’t flinch. “I’m serious.”
Rhea sighed in mock exasperation, shaking her head with a smile. “You really want that much?”
Jey’s grin only widened. “Why not? It’s a birthday celebration. We’re treating ourselves.”
Before Rhea could respond, the cashier returned with the cake, just as she ordered. Rhea took the cake with a smile, but she was still eyeing the Brookie as she set it on the counter.
The cashier, noticing their interest, said brightly, “The Brookies are buy one, get one free today!”
Jey’s eyes lit up. “I’ll take the whole platter, please,” he said eagerly.
The cashier smiled and moved quickly to grab the entire platter of the decadent brownies, carefully packaging them up and totaling everything. Rhea couldn’t help but laugh, watching Jey’s excitement as he stood there, practically bouncing with anticipation.
She paid for the cake and the Brookies, amused by how quickly Jey had decided to indulge in the sweet treat. As the cashier handed them the packaged desserts, Jey grabbed them with both hands, his eyes practically glowing with happiness.
As they made their way out of the bakery, Jey grinned, glancing over at Rhea. “I can’t believe you let me get the whole platter,” she said, still surprised at his bold choice.
Jey shrugged playfully, his voice full of contentment. “I am content with life right now, Mami,” he said, holding the large platter close. “What’s better than cake, cookies, and spending the day with you?”
Rhea laughed, shaking her head at him, but her heart swelled with affection. There was something about Jey’s unapologetic joy that always managed to make her feel lighthearted. “You’re impossible,” she teased.
They made their way to the car, and Jey placed the cake and Brookies carefully in the backseat. As Rhea began to open the passenger door of the Tahoe, she hesitated for a moment, feeling the strain of her late trimester taking a toll on her body. Jey immediately noticed, his eyes softening with concern.
He quickly moved to her side and gently helped her into the seat, supporting her with his steady hands. “Got you, Mami,” he murmured softly.
Rhea smiled gratefully, leaning into him as he closed the door behind her. “Thanks, babe,” she said, her voice full of warmth. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
Jey gave her a wink as he made his way to the driver’s side. “Well, I’ll always be here for you, no matter what.”
As he slid into the driver’s seat, he glanced over at Rhea, his gaze softening as he took in the sight of her, even more beautiful in her pregnant glow. He couldn’t wait to see the look on Jeyce’s face when he opened his presents later, but for now, he was content to just be with Rhea. The road ahead was full of surprises, but with her by his side, Jey felt like nothing could stop them.
Rhea leaned back in her seat, feeling the weight of the day’s sweetness, both from the desserts and from being with Jey. She closed her eyes for a moment, savoring the calm, knowing that, in this moment, everything was going great.
The song ‘I Love You For All The Seasons’ by The Fuzz played in the backyard as it remained alive with laughter, chaos, and the unmistakable aftermath of a sugar rush. Jeyce and Demi bounced around like wild animals, their energy seemingly endless as they ran circles around the patio furniture, the effects of the Brookies hitting them in full force. Their giggles filled the warm air, making it clear they had no plans of calming down anytime soon.
Meanwhile, Jaciyah and his girlfriend, Daya, sat comfortably on the couch inside, lazily stroking Rhea’s fluffy guinea pig, Bartholomew. The tiny creature twitched its nose as Jaciyah ran a finger over its soft fur, while Daya rested her chin on her hand, watching the interaction.
On the patio, Jey stood by the grill, flipping the burgers with practiced ease. The scent of sizzling meat filled the air, mingling with the faint traces of chlorine from the half-constructed pool in the backyard. The ground was still a mess, dirt and gravel scattered across the yard, but Jey hadn’t let that stop him from throwing a proper barbecue. His patio was untouched by the renovations, and that was all he needed.
Beside him, their dogs Barry and Bella stood alert, their eyes locked onto the grill, tails wagging in anticipation.
Inside, Rhea held the bowl of seasoned steaks, waiting for Jey to be ready for the next batch of meat. However, as she took a step forward, a sudden sharp kick from Jeyson made her freeze. The unexpected pressure knocked the wind out of her, forcing her to clutch the edge of the counter.
She set the bowl down quickly, sucking in a slow breath as another strong kick followed.
Daya, who had been casually watching her from the couch, straightened up, concern flashing across her face. “Mrs. Fatu, are you okay?” she asked, her voice edged with worry.
Rhea groaned quietly, one hand pressing against her belly as she tried to breathe through the discomfort. “I’m fine,” she reassured her, though her voice was strained. She exhaled slowly, shaking her head as she gently rubbed her stomach. “Just baby Jeyson thinking it’s okay to kick the hell out of me.”
Daya gave her a knowing smile. “Sounds like he’s already trying to be a little wrestler like his dad.”
Rhea huffed a small laugh, still massaging the spot where her son had just launched his assault. “Yeah, well, he better save those superkicks for when he’s actually out in the world.”
Jaciyah chuckled from the couch. “Better hope he doesn’t come out putting people in the Uso Splash straight out the womb.”
Rhea rolled her eyes but smiled, finally straightening up. “If he does, I’m sending him straight to his father.”
She grabbed the bowl again, heading toward the patio door where Jey was still focused on the grill. As she stepped outside, she caught him in the middle of a conversation with Barry and Bella, who were both staring at him like they were deeply invested in whatever he was saying.
“No, y’all ain’t gettin’ none,” Jey was saying, pointing the tongs at the dogs as if they could understand him. “Don’t even try it.”
Rhea smirked as she set the bowl down next to him. “Babe, you know they’re not gonna listen, right?”
Jey turned toward her, eyes scanning her face with slight concern. “You good, baby?” he asked, catching the way she was still lightly holding her stomach.
Rhea nodded. “Yeah, just your son reminding me he’s in there training for his first WrestleMania.”
Jey laughed, flipping another steak. “That’s my boy.”
Rhea shook her head, smiling as she leaned against the counter, watching as their family and friends enjoyed the day. Despite the chaos, the half-finished yard, and the sugar-fueled madness, everything was nice.
Jeyce and Demi came running up to them, practically vibrating with excitement. Their eyes were wide, their movements erratic—the clear signs of a sugar rush in full effect.
Jeyce grabbed onto Rhea’s arm, practically bouncing in place. “Rhea! Can I cut my cake?!” he asked, his voice an octave higher than usual.
Jey, standing beside the grill, gave his son a pointed look. “Don’t even try it, lil’ man,” he warned. “You haven’t even had your food yet.”
Jeyce groaned dramatically, throwing his hands in the air. “But you gave us the Brookies!”
Jey narrowed his eyes. “I gave you each one Brookie. Just one.”
Rhea, who had been watching the exchange with amusement, turned to her husband, her brow lifting slightly. “You gave them one?”
Jey looked at her suspiciously, picking up on the shift in her tone. “Yeah… one.” His gaze sharpened as he studied her face. “Don’t tell me you gave them more than one?”
Rhea pressed her lips together, her silence saying everything.
Jey’s jaw dropped. “Baby!”
Rhea shrugged, feigning innocence. “They looked so happy,” she defended. “And they asked so nicely.”
Jeyce and Demi took that as their cue to bolt, giggling as they ran into the house before Jey could lecture them further.
Jey sighed, rubbing his hand over his face. “See? This is why they’re bouncin’ off the damn walls!”
Rhea chuckled, wrapping an arm around his waist. “Relax, baby. It’s a party. Let them have fun.”
Jey exhaled, shaking his head. “Yeah, well, when they throw up from all the sugar, you clean it.”
Rhea smirked. “Deal.”
Jey shook his head again, but there was a smile tugging at his lips. This was his life, just like he wanted.
“UNCLE JON!”
Jey and Rhea turned their heads as Jeyce pulled his girlfriend, Demi, by the hand, both rushing toward the front door. Excitement radiated off Jeyce as he sprinted ahead, nearly knocking over a side table in his eagerness.
Inside, Jon and Trinity had just stepped in, pushing a sleek black double stroller where their twin baby boys, Jarrell and Judah, were comfortably nestled. The moment Jeyce spotted them, he wasted no time launching himself at Jon, wrapping his arms around his uncle in a tight hug.
“Hey, nephew!” Jon laughed, nearly stumbling back from the impact before returning the hug.
Rhea smiled at the sight and patted Jey’s arm. “I’ll go greet them, baby.”
Jey leaned down, pressing a lingering kiss to her lips. “Go ahead, mama.”
He watched her as she walked toward the family, her pregnancy giving her an even more radiant glow. Jey let out a small breath, shaking his head with a smirk before turning his focus back to the grill. He flipped the burgers, setting them aside on a tray, then reached for the seasoned steaks, carefully placing them over the open flame. The air filled with the mouthwatering aroma of sizzling meat.
Just as he settled into his rhythm, the patio door slid open, and Jey didn’t need to turn to know who it was.
“What up, Uce?” Jon’s familiar voice greeted him as he stepped outside.
Jey smirked, grabbing the tongs. “Ain’t nothin’ much, just tryin’ to keep the peace before these kids burn my damn house down.”
Jon let out a deep chuckle, glancing toward the house where Jeyce and Demi were now chatting with Trinity. “Yeah, I saw Jeyce runnin’ on a sugar rush. Y’all let them loose on the sweets?”
Jey sighed, shaking his head. “Man, I gave ‘em one Brookie. Just one.” He turned his head and shot Jon an exasperated look. “Rhea? She prolly’ gave them three each.”
Jon let out a loud laugh, clapping Jey on the back. “Damn, Uce. You losin’ control of your own house.”
Jey scoffed, flipping a steak. “Man, don’t remind me. She always settin’ me up, then lookin’ at me all innocent like she ain’t just turn these kids into straight-up maniacs.”
Jon grinned, cracking open a beer and leaning against the railing. “That’s what happens when you marry a mastermind.”
Jey smirked, shaking his head. “Yeah, well, that’s my mastermind.”
Jon took a sip of his beer, his expression shifting slightly. “How she doin’, though? For real.”
Jey’s movements slowed for a second before he sighed. “She good. Just tired. This pregnancy hittin’ her harder than she lets on.”
Jon nodded, watching the grill. “You makin’ sure she takin’ it easy?”
Jey let out a dry laugh. “Tryin’ to. But you know Rhea. Telling her to rest is like tellin’ the sun not to shine.”
Jon smirked. “Yeah, well, she’s definitely one of us.”
Jey chuckled, shaking his head. “No doubt.”
Jon took another sip, then nodded toward the driveway. “Ma and Pops land yet?”
Jey flipped the last steak, watching the juices sizzle. “Yeah, they should be pullin’ up soon in a few minutes.”
Jon let out a low whistle. “Damn. Whole squad in one place.”
Jey smirked, tapping the tongs against the grill. “Ain’t nothin’ more important than family, Uce.”
Jon clinked his beer against Jey’s tongs. “Ain’t that the truth.”
“UNCLE OOOH AHH!”
Jey and Jon turned toward the front door as Joe stepped inside, his booming presence filling the room. His wife, Galina, walked in beside him, her warm smile already set on Rhea.
“Look at you,” Galina said, pulling Rhea into a gentle embrace. “You are glowing.”
Rhea chuckled, rubbing her belly. “You’re like the third person to say that today.”
Joe, meanwhile, scooped Jeyce into a bear hug. “Damn, nephew! You gettin’ big on me.”
Jeyce grinned. “I been eatin’ good, Uncle Joe!”
Joe ruffled his hair. “I bet. With your pops on the grill, y’all probably eatin’ better than me.” Galina gave her husband of ten years a playful smack on the his arm.
After giving Rhea a quick hug, Joe crossed the living room, heading for the backyard where Jey and Jon were manning the grill. As soon as he stepped outside, he took a deep breath, nodding in approval at the scent of seared seasoned meat.
“Aight, who’s on the grill?”
Jey smirked. “Who you think?”
Joe let out a deep chuckle, pulling both of his cousins into a quick, brotherly hug. “Man, it’s good to see y’all.”
Jon clapped Joe on the back. “Same, Uce. You know it ain’t a real cookout ‘til you show up.”
Joe grabbed a beer from the cooler before leaning against the patio railing. His eyes drifted toward the house, where Rhea was now sitting on the couch, her hand resting on her belly as Galina and Trinity talked around her.
“Yo,” Joe said, nudging Jey. “Your woman looks like she’s about to pop.”
Jey let out a short laugh, flipping the steaks. “Due date’s mid-August.”
Joe took a sip of his beer. “Damn, you ready for that?”
Jey exhaled through his nose, glancing toward the house before turning back to the grill. “Yeah. But I ain’t gonna lie, this pregnancy been different.”
Joe smirked. “She hit the I hate you phase yet?”
Jon let out a loud laugh as Jey shook his head. “Bruh…” Jey ran a hand down his face. “I accidentally ate one of her ice cream sandwiches, and I swear to God, it was like I started World War III.”
Joe nearly spit out his drink. “Oh, hell no.”
Jon was still laughing. “She probably looked at you like you committed a crime.”
Jey gave him a deadpan look. “She did, Uce. I ain’t never seen her so mad in my life. Talkin’ ‘bout how could you do this to me? Like I just betrayed the whole family.”
Joe was doubled over laughing now. “Yo, you never mess with a pregnant woman’s cravings, man. That’s a death wish.”
Jey sighed, flipping the last steak. “Trust me, I learned my lesson.”
Joe took another sip of his beer, shaking his head. “Man… fatherhood looks real good on you.”
Jey looked at him for a moment before smirking. “Yeah… it feels real good too.”
Joe took another swig of his beer, glancing around at the massive pile of dirt and construction materials in the backyard. “So, I don’t mean to be curious, but why the hell is your backyard gone?”
Jey let out a laugh, shaking his head as he flipped the last steak. “Man, ever since Rhea got her little inheritance, all she wanna do is spend. This woman wants a pool now.”
Joe smirked. “Shit, at least she’s giving back.”
Jon nodded in agreement. “Hell yeah, man. ‘Cause I’m takin’ off all these days to be with the boys and Trin’, and she got me doing seminars and meet-and-greets for her charity foundation. If anything, Rhea is helping us stay afloat.”
Joe chuckled. “Yeah, man. Ever since I stepped back from wrestling for a bit, she got me doing the same thing in Florida. I’ve been workin’ with her on some shit down there, helping set up events. Rhea’s helping the family more than you think.”
Jey looked toward the house, his expression softening. Through the patio doors, he could see Rhea sitting on the couch, laughing as Jaciyah excitedly showed off the guinea pig to Galina and Trinity. The warmth in her face, the way her body instinctively cradled their unborn son—it filled his chest with something deeper than love.
Still watching her, Jey’s voice grew quiet. “Thank you for saving her that day.”
Jon glanced at his twin, reading the weight behind his words. He knew exactly what Jey was talking about—Orlando. The blood transfusion. The day everything nearly slipped away.
Jon exhaled, rubbing his chin before responding. “Anytime, Uce.” He patted Jey’s shoulder, his voice steady. “She family for real. Not just ‘cause she carryin’ our blood now, but… somethin’ deeper than that.”
Jey nodded, swallowing back the emotion creeping up his throat. “Yeah… deeper than that.”
Jey continued, “But shit y’all I don’t mean to brag but you know she about to be in Forbes?”
Joe nearly choked on his beer. “Get the fuck outta here.”
Jey smirked, flipping a steak and nodding. “Forreal. They called her this past week, they wanna do a special edition.”
Jon raised an eyebrow. “What they finna call that?”
Jey grinned, pride clear in his voice. “‘First & Only Female Billionaire of Sports Entertainment.’”
Joe let out a low whistle. “Damn. I thought she inherited nine-fifty?”
Jey nodded. “She flipped it. Now she got more than a billion, dude. I tell you, man… she is set.”
Joe leaned against the grill, smirking. “I like how you said she instead of we.”
Jey chuckled, shaking his head. “That’s her money. I like what she’s doin’ with it. Shit… to be honest, money never really changed her.”
Joe grinned. “That’s good! That means the man who gave her that money knew what he was doing.”
Jey’s jaw tightened at that. His hands clenched briefly on the tongs before he relaxed. “Yeah… that fucker.”
Jon glanced at him, sensing the shift in mood. “Aye, man. He made sure Rhea was good before he bit the dust. Be thankful for that.”
Jey exhaled slowly, nodding. He didn’t want to be thankful—not to Morris. The mere mention of him annoyed the hell out of Jey. But still… he had to admit, the man secured Rhea’s future.
Before he could dwell on it too much, Joe perked up, his ears catching a familiar sound. “I think I hear that laugh.”
Jey and Jon turned toward the house and saw their father, Solofa, standing in the doorway, his deep laughter echoing as he hugged Jeyce. Beside him, their mother, Talisua, held Jeyce’s face in her hands, planting a kiss on his forehead.
Then Jey watched as Solofa wrapped Rhea in a big hug, his strong arms pulling her in like she was his own daughter. Rhea melted into the embrace, and Jey couldn’t help but smile at the sight.
And just when he thought the house was already full, their younger brother Joseph strolled in, his arm wrapped around his wife Almia.
Jon grinned. “Shit, we got the whole damn family here now.”
Solofa opened the patio door, taking in the sight of his sons gathered around the grill. A warm smile stretched across his face. “Mālō le soifua, boys,” he greeted before pulling all four of them into a tight hug.
Joseph dapped up his two older brothers before turning to their cousin. “Joe, what’s good, Uce?”
Joe grinned, slapping Joseph’s back. “Man, just chillin’. You know how it is.”
Solofa, ever observant, glanced past them and raised an eyebrow. “Son… why the hell is there a big hole the size of my ass in the ground?”
Jey, Jon, and Joseph burst into laughter.
Jey wiped a tear from his eye. “Rhea wanted a pool, so… we’re getting a pool, Dad.”
Solofa shook his head, chuckling. “I might just have to sell my properties in Florida and move here.”
Jey scoffed, flipping a steak. “Dad, there is no way.”
Solofa crossed his arms, his smirk growing. “And why not? Me and your mother will have fresh Pani Popo ready for you and Rhea every week.”
Jon raised his hands. “Shit, Pops, come to our crib instead.”
Jey smirked, side-eyeing his brother. “Yeah, Dad, go to the oldest twin by nine minutes.”
Jon rolled his eyes. “Man, I knew you were gonna say that.”
Joe chuckled, shaking his head. “Y’all still arguing about nine damn minutes?”
Joseph laughed. “Man, you know they never let that shit go.”
Solofa just smiled, shaking his head as he watched his boys bicker like they were kids again. “Doesn’t matter where we go—y’all all gonna be eating at our table, anyway.”
After Jey finished grilling, the scent of seared steak and burgers lingered as everyone gathered around the dining table. Laughter and conversation flowed freely, the atmosphere thick with the kind of love and comfort that only family could bring. Plates clinked, utensils scraped against dishes, and voices overlapped in easy rhythm, filling the house with a joyful hum.
Jey leaned back in his chair, his arm draped over Rhea’s shoulders, watching the scene unfold with quiet pride. This was what he had always wanted—a full house, family surrounding them, happiness radiating from every corner.
Rhea, cradling her growing belly, let out a soft chuckle as she watched Jaciyah and Daya sneak extra fries from each other’s plates. Across from them, Jon was bouncing one of his twin boys on his knee while Trinity wiped drool off the other twin’s chubby cheek. Joe and Galina were deep in conversation with Solofa and Talisua, reminiscing about old stories from Solofa’s time in the business. Even Joseph and Almia, usually more reserved, were fully engaged, laughing as Jeyce sat next to Demi, he animatedly retold some wild tale from school.
Jey let the moment sink in before clapping his hands together. “Alright, y’all, time for the main event.”
Jeyce’s head snapped up, his eyes wide with anticipation. “The cake?!”
Jey smirked, standing up. “Of course, the cake. You think we’d forget?”
Jeyce practically vibrated with excitement as Jey disappeared into the kitchen. Moments later, he returned, carrying the cake carefully in both hands. Gasps and murmurs of appreciation spread around the room as everyone caught sight of it.
It was a masterpiece—a cake designed to look like a stack of vinyl records, each layer crafted with meticulous detail to resemble Jeyce’s favorite albums. At the very top, Chewbacca stood proudly, holding a miniature version of The Smiths’ album cover. It was the perfect blend of his two greatest loves, Star Wars and The Smiths, and Jeyce’s eyes shone with disbelief.
Tumblr media
“Yo, that’s so sick!” Jeyce gasped, practically bouncing on his feet.
Jey chuckled as he grabbed a candle, carefully pressing it into the cake before lighting it. The small flame flickered, casting a warm glow over his son’s beaming face.
Stepping back, Jey slid his arm around Rhea’s waist, pulling her close. She leaned into him, her own smile soft and full of love as she watched their son soak in the moment.
“Alright, everyone,” Jey said, his voice warm and full of pride. “Let’s do this.”
As the first notes of Happy Birthday rang out, voices filled the room, rising together in perfect harmony.
“Happy birthday to you…”
Present
Jey lunged forward, his entire body coiled with rage, ready to tear Brent apart. But Cal intercepted, gripping Jey’s arm with unyielding strength.
“Let me go!” Jey snarled, his chest rising and falling with heavy breaths.
Cal didn’t move. “He has information.”
Jey’s nostrils flared. His fists clenched so tight his knuckles cracked. “What fucking information?”
Cal turned to Brent, who refused to meet Jey’s eyes. Instead, Brent’s head hung low, shame carving deep lines into his face.
“Tell him,” Cal demanded.
Brent exhaled sharply, his shoulders sagging under the weight of what he was about to say. “They’re dead… the other two that helped me.”
Jey didn’t flinch. “I don’t give a fuck about them. Where is Rhea?”
Brent hesitated before shaking his head. “I—I don’t know. That wasn’t supposed to be part of the plan.”
Jey’s patience snapped. “What the fuck was the initial plan, then?”
Brent’s throat bobbed as he swallowed hard. “I don’t want to say this.”
Cal picked up the cattle rod from the nearby table, the metal humming as he clicked it on. “You’re going to tell him.”
Brent’s eyes widened, his body stiffening. He licked his lips nervously before blurting out, “It was just supposed to be revenge! That’s all!”
Jey’s jaw tightened. “Revenge? On who?”
Brent exhaled sharply. “Adam. He was supposed to get back at Matthew, but Adam disappeared. Went into hiding. So Matthew took it upon himself.”
Jey’s stomach twisted at the name. “Matt? Rhea’s ex-husband?”
Brent nodded, guilt etched deep into his expression. “Matthew befriended Rhea at the gym on purpose. He was under the illusion that she stole Adam’s share of the money from her sale, and he wanted it back. He was only supposed to get close to her until he found the money.”
Jey’s heart pounded against his ribcage. “But what happened?”
Brent hesitated before continuing. “Matthew fell in love with Rhea. He stopped answering our calls. We didn’t hear from him for a while, but then, in February 2023, he came back to me, Adam, and Thomas. He told us someone sent him a picture of Rhea coming out of some wrestler’s hotel room… and from then on, Matthew changed the plan.”
Jey’s blood ran cold. He knew exactly whose hotel room Rhea had been in. His.
Jey’s voice was low and dangerous. “What plan?”
Brent’s fingers twitched as he rubbed his palms together. “Matthew decided he would marry her. Wait until she confessed the affair. And then…”
Jey stepped closer, his body radiating fury. “Then what?”
Brent’s lips parted, but the words seemed to stick in his throat.
“Go on!” Jey barked.
Brent flinched. “Then… then he was going to end her life.”
The air in the room turned suffocating. Jey felt like the floor beneath him had given way, like the walls were closing in, but his rage anchored him. His fists trembled, his entire body vibrating with barely contained fury.
He forced himself to breathe through his nose, his mind racing.
“Just to be sure,” Jey said, his voice rough. “February 2023?”
Brent nodded. “Yeah… February 2023.”
Jey’s heart slammed against his ribs. That was the month their affair started. The month Rhea had chosen him over everything else.
His throat tightened, but he pushed forward. “So what was the end goal?”
Brent exhaled slowly, his face haunted. “We were going to eliminate Rhea and then go after Morris.”
Jey’s brow furrowed. “Morris? What the fuck does he have to do with this?”
Brent hesitated before speaking. “Well Matt knew of Morris and Morris knew of Matt.”
Jey’s head spun. Pieces of a puzzle he didn’t even know existed were falling into place. The inheritance. The power struggle. The threats that never made sense before.
His grip on his fury wavered as the realization hit him like a truck.
This wasn’t just about money. This wasn’t just about revenge.
This was about control. About legacy. About something much bigger than he’d ever imagined.
And Rhea… Rhea was at the center of it all.
Jey looked at Cal, “Just one more question.. who is this other man?”

So, since I cannot rant about this somewhere else, I'm gonna rant over here.
A few days ago, I've started reading another Merthur fic on AO3, I've noticed after a few chapters, that the write of this fic repeated some paragraphs by accident, so I've commented on it so that she'll know to edit it whenever she could, I asked her if it was on purporse, and she was like, 'oh s*it, I forgot to delete this, thank you'. We had a nice conversation, and I told her that if I'll see other errors like the one I found, then I'll comment to her about it again.
I did comment again a few times, and the author answered to me, and I thought that we were on good terms. After almost finishing rhe fic, I've commented about the action of one character, and pointed out to her another error, so that I could help her out when she'll edit her fic again.
Today I started reading the second part in the series of the fic, and it turns out that she bloody blocked me. I do not know why, I do not understand why she did it. I wanted to criticize sone stuff, but I asked for permission beforehand, and didn't write one, so I seriously do not understand why a writer would block soneone that helped her out for furure edits! I feel like I've watsed my bloody time, commenting, and pointing out stuff that she should've noticed before publishing a fic, for example, repeating the same sentences and paragraphs on the same chapter, and while I do not judge a writer who makes mistakes, it is not my job to edit those, I'm not a beta nor the writer, and I still helped her out. She even commented to me that she had seen my comments and that she'll edit the fic when she'll have the time, and I answered to her "hey, no pressure, if I'll see more errors like that, I'll comment again", and then she bloody blocks me!
I even told her that I get it that people do this kind of mistakes, and complimented her that I hadn't found any gramnatical errors, which is a hard thing to do!
And then she blocks me, and I cannot even ask her why, why did she block someone who just wanted to help her out, and had positive feedback on her fic.
And the thing is, that in her profike she writes that she's open to criticism, and I did not criticize her!
And also, has she asked ne, I would've stopped commenting about it, and only commented about the fic itself. Maybe it hurt her feelings, but honestly, I think that I've commented about the errirs 4 tines, and most of my conment were about the fic, and why I thought about the characters, but onstead of trying ti talk, she blicked me, and now I cannot comment about what I thought about the chapters I've read fron the second part of the fic...
I'm so annoyed and hurt right now. Maybe I shouldn't try to help writers again...

Do your best to wind down as your girlfriend takes the wheel in this latest chapter of my Rhea Ripley x lady!reader fic, Absolute Smokeshow.
Warnings for this section: Cannabis (weed), biting
-
Absolute Smokeshow (Part 66 of ?): Lightweight, Heavyweight, Women’s Champion
“Are you sure?” Dominik asks, cheeks still a bit pink.
You nod, dropping the hand that pointed to your smoke-filled mouth to lean in against the tug of your seatbelt and meet Dom halfway.
Today had been too stressful - you decided you needed to lose yourself in something that felt good.
Dom pulled back slightly from the shotgun you exhaled when your tongue flicked just inside his surprisingly soft lips - but you gently held him in place by the back of his neck. It was cute how shy he was with you.
Feeling him relax into the kiss, you smiled and gave his bottom lip a playful bite - which he gently returned.
When you finally pulled apart, he was blushing even harder than before.
Then you noticed a general lack of movement.
“Rhe?” you ask, looking over at your girlfriend.
Despite the fact that the car was on, it was still in park and hadn’t moved an inch. Rhea sat in the driver's seat, biting her lip as she continued to stare ravenously at the two of you.
“Mmhm?”
“Didn’t you say you were getting us to the hotel?” you finished your question, puffing at the joint between your fingers to make sure it was still lit.
“Well if the two of you stopped being so damn tempting, maybe I could actually start driving,” she replied with a smirk.
Flicking away a bit of ash, you stick your tongue out at Rhea before handing Dominik the joint.
“Good girl,” she praises you before turning back around and shifting into drive.
It wasn’t until about halfway through the joint that you actually started to calm down; you could tell because the checks you would do to see if you were being followed again were growing less and less frequent.
Dom, on the other hand, was currently laughing louder than the music Rhea had playing on the radio as you recounted hotboxing your car with Damian. He shook his head through tears when you offered him another hit, trying to quiet himself down to a violent giggle in order to hear the rest of your story.
“Then I saw that Rhea had sent me a text,” you felt a distracting warmth in your face as you recall the message, “I, uh, can’t remember exactly what she said, but... she was implying-“
“I was teasing her,” Rhea interrupted, eyes never leaving the road, “Damian was pining over Finn - I knew you weren’t fooling around with him.”
She paused for a second before adding:
“But I made you think about it, didn’t I?”
Remembering how flustered you'd been at the time, you take a long drag before responding.
"Like it would ever happen."
"Now that is the answer of a woman who has definitely thought about it," Rhea declares triumphantly.
Dominik giggles harder, barely managing to get out something that sounds like "we've all thought about it.”
“Here we are,” Rhea announced, pulling into the hotel parking lot a while later.
The remains of the first joint sat abandoned in one of your cup holders, its replacement currently sitting between your lips. Even though you were far less anxious, you still hesitated to make any sort of movement to get out of the car.
“Here you are, love,” your girlfriend said, having already parked and currently opening the door for you with a smile, “I can get your bags, you just follow me.”
Reluctantly, you take her outstretched hand and step out, inspecting your surroundings before putting out the joint on the bottom of your shoe.
“Careful,” you warn Dominik, pocketing the bud as he stumbles out of your car.
“I got it, I got it,” he insists, balancing out and chuckling, “Now which way to our room again?”
“Follow me, babes,” Rhea instructed, smiling at the two of you as she slung your bags over her shoulder and headed toward the hotel.
“The night has just begun.”

Gojo x Reader wip (The Marriage)
Tumblr media
Author's Note: Hey guys. I recently read the interview about Gojo that was translated. It made me think about this wip I've had in my drafts forever. It's from the last chapter of my Gojo x Reader fic (The Marriage). It's hasn't been edited but I want to share it with you beauties. If you haven't already you can check out the series. The interview has got me in my feels. I had an upcoming fic planned with Naoya but I'm thinking about switching it to our blue eyed king. Anyway, here is the wip. Enjoy!
Warnings: mentions of illness, super rough draft so read at your own risk!!!
The was a bounty on Satoru Gojo’s head.
He was just a child and already curse users across the country were plotting their strategies to obtain him dead or alive. A child in possession of the six eyes? The reward money for even one of his eyes would be enough to live five lifetimes in luxury.
The Gojo clan knew this and took preventative measures to ensure Satoru’s safety. However, all their efforts were put in jeopardy one afternoon when it was discovered by a maid that Satoru was not in his room, after an extensive sweep is was determined he had left the estate.
“Satoru Gojo,” his uncle hissed.
~
An eleven year old Satoru walked the streets of Tokyo by himself, he had occasionally snuck out of the estate before, but this time was different, people were actively looking for him, his family, and two curse users. Satoru had noticed them following him for awhile now, an old woman and a man with thick eyebrows had been observing him from a rooftop cafe while he played in the arcade in the building across the street. At first he hadn’t done anything, knowing they weren’t stupid enough to make a move in front of so many non sorcerers. So he just focused on Pac-Man for the time being.
Other kids his age stood in small groups around the other machines. As much as he pretended he not to care a small part of him, buried by years of strict upberinging, wished to join them. Spend the day with people his own age and not worry about the fate of society. Normalcy would have been true freedom.
~
When he had his fill he walked out of the arcade and glanced up at the curse users. Eyebrows, or Groucho as he had dubbed him, was still staring.
Get a life.
He was fed up with them so he returned rhe gaze, knowing it wouldn’t be long until they sensed it, his cursed energy. And surely enough, after a few seconds Groucho and Granny began to recoil. They knew what he was, how easy it would be for him to take both of them out. He broke eye contact and started walking down the busy street.
~
Satoru bought a box of nerds and a can of Fanta from the nearby 7- Eleven. He decided on taking his goods into a Best Buy nestled into a shopping mall, there he decided to barricade himself in the home theater display room in front of the flat screen tvs. Finally left in peace he chugged his soda and shoved handfuls of purple and pink nerds into his mouth. He loved stuff like this but at home he was regulated to a strict diet. No process, high calorie, and not an ounce of flavor. He hated it, he didn’t want to go back, maybe he should just run away. His family would definitely have noticed his absence by now. They would send someone shortly, he’d just have to enjoy what time he had left. Satoru leaned back in the recliner and watched the repeating trailers and music videos that were played to display the effectiveness of the flat screen. A security guard tapped the back of the chair he was in.
“Hey kid, this isn’t a lounge. You can’t take your crap in here.”
Satoru rolled his eyes and continued to watch the N’sync music videos.
The guard stood in front of him. “Where are your parents.”
Why was everyone over the age of twenty giving him a hard time today. He didn’t have to deal with it not now. So he warped out of the chair and discreetly landed in front of the store.
“Have a good day,” the cashier said as he walked out.
The security guard stood flabbergasted in front of the now empty seat, littered with an empty soda can and stray pieces of candy.
The music video ended and the trailer for Miss Congeniality started playing.
~
Satoru wandered around the mall for awhile after that eventually stopping at a small movie theater next to Sears.
The poster for X-Men caught his eye. He had wanted to see it for awhile know but had been denied by his uncle since it was dangerous.
“One ticket for X- Men please.”
~
Satoru was lucky enough to have the whole theater to himself. He settled in the the middle of the aisle in the back. Finally some peace and quiet. The trailers dragged on and finally the fx logo appeared accompanied by an orchestra to signify the arrival of Hugh Jackman and his claws. He got through the first twenty minutes of the film before a familiar voice spoke beside him.
“There you are,” his father softly spoke.
Satoru sighed. He had felt his father’s presence before he could see him and sure enough a guard from the Gojo estate stood expecactantly at the end of the aisle.
“How did you find me?” Satoru asked.
“There were reports of two curse users retreating from a white haired threat. You don’t exactly blend in Satoru,” the old man chuckled.
Satoru reluctantly stood up. “Are we going now?”
Much to his surprise his father sat down in the seat next to his. “What do you mean? The film just started.”
The security guard stepped forward. “Sir-”
He held up a hand to stop him. “Call my brother and tell him well be back at the estate later this evening. And have a few more guards on standby to patrol the mall. Can’t be too careful.”
The guard stepped out of the theater to make the call. Satoru’s father patted the seat next to him and Satoru hesitantly sat back down.”
“This is from that cartoon you used to like?” his father asked.
“Yeah and the comics, you remember that?”
“Of course I do.”
The two of them settled in for the rest of the movie.
~
“Well that was interesting. Did you enjoy the film?”
Satoru nodded as he walked alongside his father out of the theater.
“And the white haired character? What was her name?”
“Storm.”
“She’s you’re favorite?”
Satoru nodded in excitement. He rarely got the opportunity to talk about things like this with others, his mind wandered back to the groups of kids in the arcade.
“Storm’s the strongest.”
His father smiled. “Then it’s fitting that she’s your favorite character.”
Satoru looked up to him and smiled back wishing he could stay there forever.
~
Instead of going straight home Satoru’s father takes him to the mall food court. “If you were just eating candy you’ll give yourself a belly ache.”
So his father buys him a cheeseburger with fries and a cherry coke along with a small salad for himself.
Gojo notices how the security guard is eyeing the current head of the Gojo clan, it’s the same way everyone else has been looking at him, cautious of the possibility of him breaking. His father’s health hadn’t been doing so well, doctors and nurses were a frequent sighting around his room and it was clear how weak he really was. Over the last year he’d grown thin, his cheeks were so hollow. The salad in front of him was just for show, he’d only be able to get a few bites down before heaving it back up. At night he’d hear his Uncle and the rest of the men talking about how preparations needed to be made, how Satoru’s training needed to be accelerated so he’d be ready to assume the role of clan head. But he dind’t want to be the head, he wanted his father. His mother had passed when he was a baby, leaving her husband and son in the snake pit. And if his father left…
“Satoru? You’re crying.”
He hadn’t noticed. But sure enough salty tears ran down his face, staining his cheeks.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“Son,” he murmured, extending his arms out.
It was rare, growing up in such a tradition family, to show emotions and be vulnerable. But Satoru rushed to his arms and let his father hold him. He knew if he didn’t he’d regret it.
“Dad,” he muttered in his chest, cherishing the sound of his beating heart.
“I know you’re sorry. And I’m sorry to. You’re so young but the weight of the world is on your shoulders.”
He pulled away and looked at his son in the eyes, those infinite blue eyes that connected the sea and the sky in harmony.
“I know it seems lonely now. But someday you’ll be surrounded by people who love you. No one should be alone. Don’t worry. Let’s just go home.”

Till they reached New Grumpson, the colorful sky had turned into a gloomy winter morning sky. It made everyone more tired than normal.
"Well, the hometown theory's busted, because there are no Grossmans listed here," Five said, coming out of the telephone booth. Everyone was standing outside, stretching their muscles and feeling much better than the previous day.
"Yeah, well, we'll just have a look around," Allison said plainly. "If he's here, we'll find him."
"I'm sorry, who made you the spokesperson around here?" Luther asked, the frostiness in his voice sending shivers through everyone.
Allison stared at him and blinked twice at the tone, showing her hands up in surrender before shoving one into her pocket to take her phone out to call Raymond.
"Yeah, this is why you do recon, assholes," Ben pointed out.
Viktor turned to him with a bemused look on his face. "Recon? Why are you saying 'recon'? We're not the A-Team."
"Oh, really?" Ben asked, sarcasm dripping from his voice. "Shit. You fooled me."
"Benerino," Klaus called out soothingly, tapping on his shoulder once. "Shh. It's okay. We'll figure it out. No assholery, alright? Remember what we talked about back then."
"All that was bullshit," was his lying reply which only made Klaus smile knowingly as he ruffled Ben's hair.
"At least we still have a team, man," Diego asserted.
Clementine, who had her head inside the window, ruffling through her handbag, finally got out. "Hey guys, which one looks better on me?" she asked, holding blue plastic framed glasses one one hand and a silver metal framed one on the other.
"The silver one," Lila immediately answered.
"Yeah, definitely the silver," Viktor agreed, making Clementine nod her head as she wore the silver glasses and put the blue ones back in.
"Wait, why weren't you wearing them all this time?" Five asked.
"I had contacts on," she said and cringed. "Unfortunately, I forgot to take them out and slept with them."
"You hate contacts," Five stated. Clementine blinked, stunned for a second before she gulped.
"Maybe I did, then. But, y'know, I kinda realized that glasses make me look like shit, so."
"You know what? Screw this," Ben announced. "But all of you together? You're just a bunch of drooling stunted toddlers. I'm going back to my penthouse downtown."
"Doesn't that penthouse belong to the federal government now?" Luther asked.
"Shut the hell up, Luther," was the reply he got, as he walked. A tentacle fell out of his shirt, making everyone chuckle and guffaw.
"I'll catch up to you!" Klaus yelled out to him in a sing-songy voice.
"Don't you fucking dare!" Ben responded in the same tone.
"Must've been an ex," Lila whispered to Diego, as he readied up his gear, as they both stood beneath the door of the trunk.
"What?" Diego whispered back, as he started to wear it.
Lila tipped her chin to Clementine, who was currently bickering with Five over her prior hatred of contacts.
"Y'know, sometimes, people like someone so much that they change their ways and not in a good way," Lila speculated. "Must've been something like that with her. Man tells her she looks ugly in glasses, she changes to contacts, man accepts her..." she sighed as she trailed off. "That kind of thing sticks, y'know. Even after a break-up?"
Diego paused in his process of strapping on his gear, his eyes catching on to the faraway look in hers. He'd always cared about his fitness, which is why he went to the gym every evening.
"Yeah?" he asked. "Anyone ever made you feel that way?"
"Hmm, once," she replied absentmindedly. "It was during a mission, I think. A woman had commented on how bad I looked that night. I was wearing a shimmery black short sequin, I think. She said that my legs looked ugly in them. Haven't really liked to show my legs since."
His eyebrows furrowed in anger as he thought about a younger Lila hiding her legs because she felt embarrassed. He tipped her chin up with a finger her pupils dilating a bit as they looked into his. "Have I ever made you feel that way?"
Her breath caught in her throat as he waited for her answer. "What? No. Of course not, Diego. Why would you think that?"
"Just wanted to make sure," he said, flashing her a relieved grin as he continued with his gear. "Wouldn't be a good husband if I made my wife feel ugly, now, would I?"
With that, he fully turned to face her, arms wide open to show her his outfit. Lila gave him a proud smile, looping her arms around his neck.
"Handsome as ever," she said, making him glow as he swept her up into a sweet, passionate kiss.
"Hey, lovebirds!" Five called out in a disgusted voice. "Have your makeout session later. We gotta plan how to look for this guy."
As soon as they rejoined the group. Luther started reciting the plan.
"All right. Let's split up and look for this man. Let's be discreet. If you find him, don't do anything on your own. Let's just wait for the team."
They all walked past the town board, not really knowing what to expect.
New Grumpson was a quaint town, currently having a Christmas-themed fair. It was nice, to say the least, with everyone having a jolly good time.
Ben walked briskly down the road, Klaus soon running to catch up with him. Ben sighed in forced exasperation but made no move to drive him away. There were choirs cheerfully singing Christmas carols, almost making him nostalgic of the time he used to go to church just to listen to them when he was small.
He stopped and Klaus stopped just before bumping into him and followed his gaze to a diner named the Cosy Corner Diner. When they entered, their moods were immediately brightened up, for there was Christmas lightings put up and the song Jingle Bell Rock was playing inside.
Klaus immediately went to the seats, but Ben sat at the counter. Klaus's hands were uncovered, but he didn't seem to mind, deciding to try to get over the fear of dying rather than keep living like that. He didn't want to be a human sippy cup like Five had said.
"First time at New Grumpson?" a man sitting beside him asked.
Not having the strength to speak, Ben just scratched the back of his head and nodded. The man smiled, and tipped his head in welcome.
"Welcome to town, then," he said, making Ben nod thankfully to that as well.
He tipped his head down, feeling his upper back throb in pain. He pressed his lips together, tears welling in his eyes as he tried not to scream in pain.
"Hey. What would you like to eat today?" a nice voice asked, a hand sliding a menu under him. He lifted his head up and paused, his heart starting to pound loudly in his ears.
Jennifer, his mind immediately registered a name, even though the name tag on the woman's right shoulder said the name 'Rosie'. This was the girl who'd started to plague his dreams ever since he'd turned seventeen. There was no reason for the dream, just the girl, a name, her captivating smile, and a pretty face. He'd gotten into drawing because of her. He'd drawn endlessly, trying to get her smile, her hair, and her face just right. He'd never succeeded, though.
"He would like a grilled sandwich and a cappuccino," Klaus said, settling down beside him. "And I would like a grilled sandwich with a hot cocoa."
"All right," she said, taking the menu back and going to the kitchen window.
"Y'know, Ben, I get that it's been four years since you've seen a woman, but you can't just gawk at the first one you see," Klaus said, setting his elbows down on the counter, and chin on his hands.
Ben, turned to him, leaning close and whispering, "That's Jennifer."
Klaus's quirky face changed into a confused one. "Who's Jennifer?"
Ben turned fully to face him, knowing that he was pretty much the only one who'd listen to him. "When I turned seventeen, I started dreaming of this girl. She was the same age as I was. I saw her grow up, in my dreams. But then, she used to die because someone shot her in the head."
"Hmm. The only Jennifer I know is from the Jennifer Incident."
"What's the Jennifer Incident?" Ben asked, not getting how it ties up to this.
"Well, it was a tragic accident," Klaus said, almost like reciting words on paper. "Ben, our Ben, I mean, died because we failed as a team. Nobody was responsible, yet we were all responsible. Ben Hargreeves represented the best of us. Ben was the Umbrella Academy."
Ben just stared at him with a bewildered expression. He caught on to the way it turned almost monotonous in the second sentence. It was like he was speaking, but also like someone else was at the same time.
"Why'd you say it like that?"
"Like what?"
"Like you had to memorize it in school, and now, you can't forget it."
Klaus just blinked at him once and said, "Y'know, Ben, there are times when the words coming out of your mouth make no sense. This," he paused, pointing vaguely at his face. "Is one of those times."
Ben groaned through his teeth in irritation, turning back to face the counter, looking at the girl talking to one of the customers with the same smile, contours that were still ingrained in the muscles of his fingers and arm.
Some distance away, Luther stood outside Dottie's Antique shop, staring at some of the stuff kept outside. "Sloane would've loved it here," he mumbled absentmindedly, tracing the craftsmanship in one of the candlesticks.
Viktor and Allison looked at him with some concern and a tinge of pity in his eyes, before turning away.
"You know, it's, um... It's good to see you," Allison told Viktor awkwardly. "I'm happy that you're doing well."
Viktor shrugged, the action just as awkward. "Thanks."
Allison's expression turned regretful and serious, kicking a stone on the road. "Viktor. I don't know if I have the right to say this, honestly. And I'm not even expecting anything from you, but... I'm sorry."
Viktor looked up at her with surprise, not expecting that.
"I know that Harlan was important to you, and I was hurting, but that doesn't justify what I did, or how I treated you," she said softly. "I regret everything I said and did.
Viktor gave her a small smile. "Yeah. I know you do. It'll just take time for me to get there, y'know."
"That's alright," Allison said, returning the smile. "Anything to get one of my favorite brothers."
Meanwhile, Diego was winning toys to take back for the kids in the fair while the choir sang Deck The Halls. He smiled at Lila as he threw a second axe, and she only smiled knowingly. And after a third axe, he won a third reindeer stuffed toy.
"All right," Diego said, tenderly holding the toys in his arm. "I got the kids covered. You want one?"
She just shook her head with a smile, squeezing his shoulder softly before walking off, sipping on a coffee as she discreetly looked around. Diego looked at the shop, finding a pretty teddy bear with a bead bracelet on one of its paws. He was reminded of their time in Texas, and fished out more money to pay for another round.
Back in the diner, Ben knocked on the table where Rosie was sitting.
"Can I sit here?" he asked.
She gave him a bemused look. "I thought you didn't really want company."
He put his hands in his pockets and shrugged as she nodded and tipped her chin toward the seat across from her, gesturing him to sit. He sat down and she set her chin on her hand.
"I feel like I've seen you somewhere," she said thoughtfully.
"Yeah, I got caught up in this international wire fraud thing," he said. "Well, not directly, but, well. It's been a rough couple years."
"Wait, you're the SparrowBit guy?" She asked, surprise lacing her voice.
"I was a partner in it, yeah," Ben said with a sigh. "But, I swear, I didn't even know that my partner was upto all that shit. I actually wanted to help people."
"Huh. Then, why didn't you plead innocent?" She asked curiously.
"It would've involved a look into my past. And my past is... complicated, to say the least."
"So what? You just spent your time in jail because you didn't want them to look into your past? That's kinda stupid, if you ask me."
"Yeah, well. I wanted to mogul up, and this is what I get for it, I guess."
They both shared a chuckle. "What about you?" He asked. "Is your plan to just stay in town? I mean you look smart, you could probably make something out of yourself out there."
"There was a time I wanted to leave town. See what's out there," she said ruefully. "But, well, that ship has sailed. I bought this place, rent is cheap. Uncle Gary's weird, but he's family."
Ben smiled at the sentence, looking at Klaus chowing down his sandwich and guzzling down his coffee. "Yeah, I get that."
Clementine was also standing in the fair, eyes subtly scanning every face she could see. Suddenly, a woman ran into her, making her power act up again, as she saw the woman fastening a gun in the holster in the back of pants.
Clementine's breath hitched as she smiled and apologized to the woman. She needed to find the others. Something wasn't right here.
Elsewhere, Five was trying his best to blink, trying to summon his powers. "Blink. Dammit, just... blink."
Lila, who was approaching him, sipped on her coffee and asked, "Doing your Kegels in public now, are we?"
He turned with a start of surprise before composing himself. "Y'know, just trying to stay limber. Not give myself deep vein thrombosis."
She hummed sarcastically in response. "At your age, you gotta look out for that."
"How worried do you think we have to be about this Cleanse thing?" He asked her after a beat of silence.
"Hard to say," Lila said speculatively, coming closer a bit and lowering her voice. "You know, I used to think the Keepers were 90% batshit, but since I've been roofied with the marigold, and I'm shooting laser beams out of my eyeballs, I'll give 'em 50/50."
"Right. Well, after this, I'll go back, find Jean and Gene."
"I'll come with you," she said and he shook his head in response.
"You either tell Diego, or keep out of this," he hissed.
"What're you two talking about?" Diego asked.
"Trying to decide which festive drink to partake in," Lila replied.
"And?"
"Well, mulled wine for myself, cocoa for the lady."
He looked around once more catching an eye of an elf staring at them, no, watching them.
"That elf," he said suspiciously, making the couple turn. "He's staring right at us."
His phone vibrated in his pocket and he ignored it. He could feel someone's burning gaze on the side of his neck and turned to see Clementine, holding her phone in her hands her thumbs hovering over the screen.
He whipped his phone out, looking at the text she sent him.
I've bumped into about five people in this fair yet and they all have guns. something's going on.
He looked back at her in question, to which he only got a confused shrug.
She purposefully bumped into another stranger, closing her eyes before anyone could spot them going black. When they opened a second later, she tapped furiously on her screen, causing his phone to vibrate again.
We have to get outta here. Now. They have big guns.
Five's face twisted in confusion as he looked at her, but she was focussed elsewhere, mostly at the people starting to surround her.
Outside Dottie's Antiques, there was a crowd starting to gather. Allison was the first to notice as she called out for the attention of Luther and Viktor.
Five's phone pinged again, this time, message in caps.
FIVE WE HAVE TO GET THE FUCK OUT THIS IS A MILITARY TOWN.
Tumblr media
Another A/N: Helloooo, so just an announcement here. So I'm changing up some of the things about what happened to Allison in s3 because idk first of all it doesn't make sense and second it's not sitting right when it comes to the fic.
So in s3, in my head the assault scene doesn't happen, she just doesn't like him going for Sloane. Plus idk man they did her dirty last season. Like ok, she was hurting and grieving, but i feel like she wouldn't assault Luther like that. Just doesn't sit right w me yk? Sorry if this goes against any hcs.
Anyway thanks @auxiliarydetective for letting me borrow your concept with the music haha. I hope you're liking the foc so far. Go read her tua fic too guys, it's basically a rewrite from s1, but it's rly good.
Likes, reblogs and comments are highly appreciated 💖💙💜

Different kind of a killing game
[parts said by others start with their names, also this one is incredibly long and goes into post-game saiou angst]
Hina: Okay so moving from gore-discussions because this wasn’t exactly gore: Ideas for alternative motives for V3. The one that I’m thinking about very much right now is the idea of a prisoners dilemma type motive The general idea of the prisoners dilemma is: any number of prisoners in a group have an option of giving information to authorities in order to lessen their sentence. If one person gives information, they will be let off with a much shorter sentence, at the consequence of the other prisoners getting a heavier one, but if they all stay quiet, they keep the same regular length sentence. If they all expose each other, they all get the heavier sentence The idea hinges around what humans do in a situation where trust like this is involved. The best outcome for all parties is if everyone stays quiet, but if one person decides to sell them out, they’re at risk of a larger sentence So yeah, that and put it in V3
Oliver: What information would they have that monokuma would want??
Hina: It doesn’t necessarily have to be information It’s mainly the choice of whether to do what the authority figure wants at the cost of selling out the group I’d imagine it like this. Monokuma gives them a period of time to investigate and then tells them theyll be given a vote on who the mastermind is If you correctly vote the mastermind, you get to leave no consequences. If you vote incorrectly, however. The person that you voted for will die and you’re labeled their blackened. If nobody votes, you all get to continue the game without any risks So here’s the dilemma. Even if they all know with 100% certainty who the mastermind is, the mastermind can still vote wrong and kill a person, even if the rest get out And the other option is they have to trust the idea that nobody votes and they all love
Checkers: can they see who votes first?
Hina: No, They don't know who, Unless they're watching each other That's another fun part, Watching their behavior as they vote Cause I'm assuming they're voting at rhe trial podiums So they can all see each other too
[some time was spent talking about which chapter this motive should be introduced in & speculating about what would happen in the suggested scenarios, but that won't be relevant bc of a later decision]
Hina: I just xame to a beautiful discovery This would be the perfect motive for a Mastermind Shuichi AU Like it's right up his alley eith the detective thing
Oliver: IMAGINE IF IT WAS A REPEATING MOTIVE…….. you could actually make a whole death game out of that
Hina: No but did you know that's actually a second part to the prisoners dillema There's a second aspect to the prisoners dillema related to: What would happen the more times the situation was repeated Would they start working together over time realizing it's bad for them Would they use exposing each other as bargaining chips. Like. "If you let me lessen my sentence today I'll let you lessen yours tomorrow"
Oliver: I was thinking if it were a repeating motive, it could practically be the whole gimmick of the killing game. Like imagine two people die from being voted for. One blackened, and one person who gets away scot-free but killed the other person with their vote. The blackened gets caught, because Shuichi, but maybe someone else finds out who the other voter was, and kills them because the other person who died was close to them. Another trial, and then another Prisoner's Dilemma Vote
Hina: You want to know another fun idea If this is a simulation in which Shuichi doesn't care because he knows he's gonna live and is playing observer In a scenario where they've voted out blackened to die They're given the option of thus "If everyone says yes, I'll bring back half the dead participants at random. If any specific people are voted for, they will be brought back and the rest stay dead" So now it's a choice of bringing back the most people, or trying to guarantee that the person you care for most comes vack It's the reverse dilemma And there's probably people you don't want to come back so Do you really want to risk your best friend not coming back, in favor of someone you hate Mastermind can vote someone they don't want back into the ftay Imagine Kokichi gets voted out on pretenses of people suspecting him Nobody wanted to bring him back, so Shuichi used his vote to guarantee he was brought back Now there's dealing with the fact of. Hey, I'm alive again At the cost of someone who goes against mg moral code in every way being the person to do ir
I am imagining them doing the dillema as a bonus after getting the normal trial vote right so right after 4th trial would be good
this also made me think of a killing game on fully different rules, where if they fail to get away as a blackened they're not executed since the only goal is finding the mastermind. they would be doing only the mastermind vote after trials, with the option to skip, but generally, they get two chances to eliminate mastermind per chapter, first by setting up the murder, and then second if the group figured out the murder and get to vote, if somebody gets away with murder, they leave on their own, the group will be allowed to leave if mastermind is eliminated, and that's with keeping in mind that voting for someone means killing them, but they don't have to worry about being executed for getting it wrong, it's just about their morals.
Checkers: what if the mastermind is killed?
the game ends
there should be a hard limit of how many people can be voted out per trial too, so it doesn't end too fast, like "only first three votes will count, so decide quickly" or even less. I think, with the presence of mastermind being known and everyone working against them rules would be way stricter in general, mass murder wasn't allowed to begin with, here it's "you've only got one shot", it only gets reset if everyone still alive has blood on their hands (either by murder or vote) or, my first idea, was it being reset every chapter after vote, aka the killer couldn't vote in the same chapter, but the idea of everybody having blood on their hands come final chapter is spicier,
Checkers: if you vote correctly you leave and if majority votes correctly the mastermind dies?
not in my version, it's enough for one correct vote to kill the mastermind, only the first three who vote register, even if they're all skips, people who voted for someone or killed directly would break a rule and therefore be punished for getting another person killed before it's reset because of a lack of spotless
Checkers: if only the first three register then there might be a lot more panic over voting maybe they rush to vote without thinking as much so. I propose. monokuma changes the voting layout midgame, they were ready to vote and clicked really fast but didn't realize they voted wrong until it was too late
yeah, that panic is what's I was going for, they gotta be locked in and ready to get someone killed the moment voting pulls up Kokichi is a big fan of getting in a "skip" as one of those 3 but not everybody thinks like that the first time, he's just like, "oh, then we can all press skip, nice, easy." and then there's a bang.
they could [reveal who they voted for], but they're not obligated to,
Checkers: I think they would, or others might force them to say it. it prevents a lot of wasted votes/kills
they don't even know if their votes are the ones that registered until the voting is done and acted on, the votes that registered get revealed but without information who put them in, so if somebody voted the same as you just faster you wouldn't know and just think that's probably your vote, some might try to get others to vote the same as them if they're convinced somebody's the mastermind, but if they got other motives for trying to eliminate someone, they'd rather stay quiet,
I think since it's more of a cat & mouse game between mm and others, there would be messages from them included in the rewards they get, one a real hint and one misleading, they just have to decide which is which, those would replace the flashback lights I guess,
mm Shuichi would listen to what others are suggesting to him, making Kaito think that he is relying on him, but actually he's only okay with voting on Kokichi because he's planning to bring him back later, great for the plot, but not mm Shuichi would mostly just skip until he had solid evidence someone is the mastermind
Sini: The thing is, I can see some people not even voting the mastermind here. Like, someone could vote for the killer as revenge or for the safety of the group. Or, someone might vote cause they know they themselves are likely to be voted as the mastermind and they want to take the chance of being the first vote that can take the person who will vote them out as a means of saving their own skin. Like, Himiko could vote Korekiyo off for example. And the last scenario could absolutely fit Kokichi, though the question is, would he actually do that? Given how he is in game, I think he would as it is just one of the sacrifices he'd have to make in order to end the game himself
yes, you get my vision 100% what I meant by "other motives" he could still make Gonta do it, he'd tell him it's to raise their chances, but it'd be actually because he knows he himself would hesitate but also consider: he doesn't make it far enough this time too sus for his own good
Sini: Little guy dies before he can even think to do that or pull it off…
he'd get voted out as soon as the second trial, then mastermind would bring him back after the 4th, the group dynamic would be a lot different, some would probably be more willing to trust him now, knowing he's not the mm, but that too depends on how well he copes with that
somebody voted him out, in fact, most likely multiple people voted for him, and now that he's back… they expect cooperation? he teams up with Shuichi because he's the one that voted him back in, or so he says, can't fully trust that, but hopefully? more than others
I think this one vote would become public because they'd have an argument after seeing Ouma brought back and make each other admit to their votes, there was some suspicion and talking behind backs and asking each other one on one before, but this is the one where it would become a whole ordeal of peer pressure, so the brought back peeps would know who claims them (and why would anyone risk lying about that? they didn't, right? that's the last person who'll want to hurt me, right?)
if saiouma had rights I could say that Shuichi brought him back because he wanted to get to know him better, continued to wonder about the mysterious boy, it would be a second chance for them, but. Mastermind Saihara is the better explanation
I don't know, can they still have something complicated going on post-game if Saihara is the mastermind? What it would take for Kokichi to be conflicted and don't straight up hate him after they leave vr? cause being brought back wouldn't be enough and actually only make the betrayal worse
Sini: I think the only thing that could make Kokichi not fully hate Shuichi is if Shuichi had his personality and memories screwed up Like, he was made to be the mm
I dunno, I don't want it to be that, if he's altered it's a little bit, like, everyone got Enhanced to be Ultimates, but then that means they did sign up, and he volunteered to be the mastermind and he's himself with new cool knowledge and skills, but that's about it. I want Kokichi to be forced to think about his morals, to have to notice good things in Saihara who is the ringleader, made those motives, and unfortunately proven to him that none of them are better than him (remember the counter being reset by the final chapter, that's important, even though that means this one would have more chapters than canon)
he's going to have to think about how Saihara was doing a silly little social experiment knowing it's not real, while the lot of them was killing for real, thinking it'll be permanent, and how Saihara never was the blackened, and kept the game fair with the hints and lead it to the conclusion since his goal never were to keep them trapped in the hell loop, and how he cared & patched him up when he got injured
he wants to believe Saihara was just being manipulative, but it doesn't add up
Sini: I meant more like he was forced to be the mm but I see what you're saying. Maybe Kokichi doesn't hate him as much cause he sees himself to be just as awful as him? Or maybe there are aspects to Shuichi that have him feel bad for him. And yeah! He sees how he was at least fair about everything. But I'm gonna be real, I don't think Kokichi could ever forgive him or even see him in a good light. He might not fully hate him, he could give him some props for certain things, but he is still the one that made everyone do all that horrible shit. Even if it wasn't real, it felt real. It was real to them. It doesn't matter if Shuichi does actually care for him, he still manipulated him and everyone else. He would want to see the good in him, but all the stuff I mentioned could never be enough and what he's done could never just be ignored. Just because Kokichi might see himself in a similar awful light doesn't mean he's going to give Shuichi that much charity. How I see it, it could never work
I love pg Shuichi who's been neglected and clung to the comfort show, so I imagine him going far past interacting enough not to be suspicious, he's thrilled to make friends, loves having a talent and therefore finally being special enough to hold people's attention, have something to connect with them instead of just offputing people with his fannish rambles about executions and from ch5 on to the end he would be the closest to Kokichi, so he would be trying to get that back, he's attached
I am just trying to paint the picture of, memory manipulation is barely still on the table, no flashback lights, no identity changing stuff or big gaps in memory, a lot more defined rules, cards on the table about how things work, the choice being fully theirs: stay or try to leave, I'll even give you a hint. He was mostly an observer in the whole thing
Ves: much harder in on them being his friends than tsumugi is. he's actually MORE like junko in that way, huh
bro's not even giving them motives, he's getting so much blackmail material just from being able to check who voted what and he's not using it, he's just there to hang out with his friends, and maybe study their behaviour under immense stress hahaha
Hina: I like the idea of Mastermind Shuichis game being a character study
Ves: were they friends pregame [my reply] no, he had no friends, this is his idea of an ice-breaker, he's just getting to know them better this is the best way to really get to know who people are at their core, trust him, he learned a lot on the internet
Sini: So they're all the same in that they gave themselves up to DR and while responsible for their own actions, were taken advantage of by Team DR? [my reply] I guess, yeah?
Ves: he made fifteen friendship bracelets in preparation
he thought it's going to be like solving a locked room together, a nice bonding activity, it's basically the same thing if you're as desenitized to death as he was! He was helping through leaving hints! It wouldn't be fun if he made it too easy, but he did a good job adjusting the difficulty level for the group, he's a good game master he gave them a good journey on the way to the victory that was always eventual, he cheered them on
Ves: im gonna cry he's sweet in the worst possible way v3's world rlly fucks up everybody who lives in it huh everyone who 'died' is just backstage with juiceboxes he does not see the problem
Sini: Man, I feel like that would make Kokichi hate him more, if that makes any sense. At least at first, anyway. Cause he's so sad and sweet yet did the most horrible things. He doesn't see anything wrong with what he did.
"I was worried I am going to fumble and get caught early, but I am glad I was able to give everyone a good season despite my anxiousness" gives that small smile
Sini: I feel like when they get mad at him, he cries jwjhhwef He only wanted to have fun : (
Ves: kokichi how could you POSSIBLY be mad at this guy. the murder does not count as a reason
Sini: His heart definitely doesn't hurt when he makes him cry. Definitely not
Ouma lashes out at him (post game, because in game he was in too much shock to bring up personal feelings about how it affects him as an individual, instead of talking about The Whole Thing) and he's like" "but I thought- I thought that we, that you… nevermind" hides the notebook full of ideas for what they might do together now that they're out and runs away, crying
Ves: he deserves it but like that's my son my beloved son who has committed war crimes
He was SO going to ask him out if Kokichi didn't bring him back down to earth
Ves: he's borderline delusional abt all this and when he gets a healthier mindset the self hatred is gonna hit harder than even canon shuuichi
Checkers: he specifically asked the backstage ppl to give Kokichi the nice juicebox brand. That’s rly romantic right
Sini: Knowing this now, I think when Kokichi finally accepts that he made the choice to join danganronpa and that they were all in the worst mindsets when getting into the recent season will he, not forgive Shuichi, but not be so mad at him anymore. He's more angry at DR than anything. He's still uncomfortable around him, his trust issues really keep him still feeling strong about what Shuichi did to him, but he holds no real strong feelings against him. He just feels bad for him
Ves: oh is this official danganronpa? somehow i got the impression that it was a fan project like in a warehouse somewhere
it's official they all audition and get on location, their memory of getting there it's closer to thh, "I came in here, lost consciousness and then suddenly it was Like That" Shuichi didn't do anything illegal, he just hosted a season of a popular tv show and they all got juiceboxes!
Ves: they WANTED to do this fun and normal team building exercise why are they so MAD at him!!! completely unfair i think he'd get really offended if they imply he was like. faking his grief at the deaths. because he DID grieve! his tears were genuine!! just…in a nice, comfortable, cathartic sort of way. he always knew he'd be going home he cried like you cry at a sad tv show the others cried like it was real
Sini: Like that's what really pisses them off. He saw it all as a show when they saw it as reality
the disconnect is more at a level as if they were playing D&D, of course he's invested and he's sad if someone has to leave the game he's going to miss them, but they'll see each other later, it's fine. And, well, he's not happy to see his dear friends fighting or upset, obviously, but those things happen and in the end it'll all be resolved, in the matter of a few weeks at most
Ves: it's just LARPing at the end of the day. them not KNOWING that doesn't count because they asked for it to be that way. he's helping!! he's facilitating what they wanted!! he brought juiceboxes!!!!!!! tsumugi we bonded over being DMs how are you mad at me now
What if. What if they're siblings. What if one of their parents is a Team DR executive/ some higher up. What if they both auditioned for the mastermind. Pitched in their ideas. What if angry pg Tsumugi left a letter for her future self talking about her bitch ass brother stealing her chance to finally get their attention. What if post game Tsumugi lived to see said parent never visit either of them despite working in the same building. What if she saw her old self in Shuichi, nearly mirror like. What if it terrified her
Sini: Not getting the role was the best thing to happen to her…

Chapter 3.2 " The stone egg" Part 2/3 " WHAT THE F...!!"
Ao Yan came out from his egg, none know how and why now but he did, and almost give to Ao Jia and his wife Cuifen an heart attack.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A little bit of contexts, after Qiaofen left her husband palace she couldn't bring with her a lot of staff, just some rhe majority of what she brought in to the marriage from her original palace, and unfortunately the egg wasn't part of it. All children are of their father property, and even it was a egg, Ao Yan was included, so Qiaofen use the excuse to keep safe Ao Guang staff, after his palace was destroyed, for taking the egg and swoop them with a fake so he would get suspicious. But to be honest Ao Guang didn't even notece then the egg was between the staff Qiaofen took, he remembered about the egg after he got back the fake one.
I also love the fact the Ao Yan came out from his egg upside down, with his tiny leg on top.
A note also for the relationship between Ao Yan and his older brother Ao Jia, Ao Yan for the first year if his life thought the Ao Jia was his dad, first because they look similar, both had took more form thier mother (they got lucky), with small differences loke the eyes color, Ao Yan are green like Ao Guang and Ao Jia blue like Qiaofen; second Ao Jia was the Ao Yan first male model figure, and from all this siblings he is the one with the closest relationship, also because Ao Yi and Longnü are elsewhere doing thier own staff, and he is going to meet Ao Bing ghost later and he is an as$hole. And other interesting relationship is between Ao Yan and Cuifen, they are technical sister and brother in law, but it's more like a mother son dynamic between them, Cuifen has huge represent maternal instinct, so she was a giant supporter for Qiaofen during the raising process of Ao Yan, helping with child care and all, making the relationship between mother and daughter in law more closer, unfortunately for Ao Jia.

so baaically Lily's Garden:
The afformentioned Lily inherits the estate from her Aunt Mary who is disgustingly talented in multiple ways
Her mom is a straight up cougar. The game makes no attempts to hide this and in fact celebrates the fact.
Lily's Ex, who is used heavily in the promotional material, is mostly seen in the First Mansion Arc of the game (yes really first mansion) and then turns over a new leaf, becoming a spiritualist and childrens' hospital entertainer.
While Lily herself is probs comp het with her neighbor luke, her besties Regina (her go to builder lass) and Whitney, the tech nerd they meet in the Second Mansion arc, end up getting together.
A big plot point is Regina, who is a down to earth sort of woman, coming to terms with how much she adores whitney and how shes gay as fuck. Also coming to terms with her gf's nerdy interests and how to indulge in them. Even if she doesnt get it.
Whitney is 100% autistic. Its never said but the signs are there.
The First Mansion arc: Lily has to rebuild the mansion + the ground theyre on within a month or the entire plot will go to the state of california. This is eventually moot as the whole thing was just a means to get Lily to actually give a shit about the land, and the whole plot was never going to happen.
Second Mansion Arc: a second mansion is discovered north of the other mansion, belonging to aunt mary's family. A ghost cat is involved in uncovering rhe mystery behind it. One of her relatives ran afoul with a mafia boss who is trying to snatch the mansion out from under them. Somehow the biggest surprise here is that aunt mary was imvolved with a spy network and has a series of tunnels under the estate only accessible via obelisk door.
This is all within a handful of chapters.
There is a whole island section where they have to refurb a whole island. As well as a national park where Lily learns that you should stay out of politics if youre also on social media.
As of where I left off, Whitney is off training to be part of the FBI and while she is great at hacking, she is not great at the physicap stuff.
Hey tell me more about Starbrew cafe. In exchange Ill tell u how batshit Lily's garden is. In a way that most youtubers dont cover
the info in the google playstore:
Tumblr media
but what they dont say is tht pretty much everyones some flavor of lgbtq+ INCLUDING the protag Starla, n theyre all lowkey Messy n im not afraid to admit im playing more for the story than the merging bc I LOVE IT
PLUS: cute artstyle tht doesnt make it feel like all the other copy/edit/paste merge games n cute character designs
i also feel like they dont bombard u w a million in-game popups/notifications/ads before u can do anything in the game... they have a few but it DEF seems like less than some other merge games out there but i also have adaway for my phone so it COULD be tht, take w a grain of salt
idk i have a good time playing 🤷🏽‍♀️
would LOVE to hear about Lily's Garden 👀

TBHK theory: Yashiro’s already a supernatural.
This may be considered a crack theory, but I’m going to ask that you hear me out.
Teru says you can eat a supernatural to become one. He thinks eating even just a tiny piece of one (such as one pinky finger sprinkled over a pizza shared by four people) would have that effect. Given their survival and arrival into the boundaries, he wasn’t wrong.
My theory hinges on this, and on an open-ended definition of ‘eating’.
See...I think Yashiro isn’t just a kannagi. I think she’s a living supernatural kannagi.
Okay, you clicked the link, so you’re willing to hear me out. Great. Let’s go on this crazy dive where I explain where I got to this point.
* Point the first. It is important, as we go through this, to remember that humans have physical bodies and supernaturals have powers, but both have spirits or souls.  A ghost is a human that’s left their physical body behind – what we’d generally consider death, but in the TBHK universe it’s a bit more flexible. There’s a window where a ghost can get their body back (we found this out in the Misaki Stairs arc) but it’s finite. (How finite, we don’t yet know, since Aoi’s final fate is still in doubt.) Likewise, spirits can manifest in the mortal world, but since they don’t have bodies, they have to have a certain power level to do so. (This came up with the second Mitsuba in the Hell of Mirrors.)
And then there’s combining the two; becoming a living supernatural. Natsuhiko and Teru both showed it’s possible. Any downsides to this apparent ‘best of both worlds’ meshing haven’t yet been addressed, but while Natsuhiko said this was the ‘secret to a long life’ it’s probable that there’s more to it than just ‘eating a supernatural’. Natsuhiko is, canonically, a liar and deceiver and at the time he wanted Kou’s assistance. But it’s at least certain that it’s not one or the other. The story’s borne that out in the latest chapter.
* Point the second. If a supernatural doesn’t have a physical body – which is true for nearly all of them – then you have to consider that ‘eating them’ means devouring some part of their spirit. A heart would not so much be ‘an organ that pumps blood’ as a symbolic ‘seat of power’ - but as Teru demonstrated, pretty much any part of them will do.
* Point the third. If eating spirits makes you a stronger supernatural, they don’t necessarily have to be other supernatural spirits. They can be animal spirits, or even human souls. The Red House Entity (RHE) got a little stronger with every sacrifice Tsukasa gave it – even frogs and kittens. The willing sacrifice of Tsukasa himself gave it quite a big boost. It’s entirely possible that the ‘family murder-suicide’ that happened the night Tsukasa, Amane, and their parents died was even bigger, since after that nearly every human that set foot on the grounds of the RHE wound up dead. It is not unreasonable to assume the RHE devoured those souls as well, since baby!Tsukasa mentions that ‘they’re all still here’ in the Red House, even after their deaths.
Okay. That’s the general framework. Now. Let’s consider the whole ‘kannagi’ deal.
* First, let’s look at Aoi. She displayed no powers prior to her capture by Six, but is of a bloodline of kannagis and was identified as one by Six and his agents. From this we can conclude that ‘kannagi’ does not necessarily come with a power level. We can also see that after she’s made aware of the supernatural world, she picks things up pretty quickly. (There’s a lovely montage near the end of the grim reaper arc of Aoi making full use of the little amulet Teru gave her to repel spirits.) Aoi had potential that at first was untapped; that potential was great enough that Six chose her as sacrifice over Yashiro (although there may be other reasons he did that; I’ll get to those).
Now, let’s talk Yashiro’s journey.
* Yashiro was technically a half-supernatural from the moment she swallowed that mermaid scale. Just because it’s a curse doesn’t mean she’s not part-supernatural; no one in the mortal realm grows scales and fins because someone dumped water on them.  (That said, I cannot say whether she would be considered supernatural enough, based on this alone, to have gone down the well on her own without eating the finger pizza. Teru says no, but Teru also has solid reason to lie about it.)
* From the moment she became Hanako’s assistant, I honestly think her ‘fated death’ kept getting pushed ahead. Hanako saved her over and over from dangers that COULD have killed her, but didn’t because he was there/able to get to her.  Hanako, and everyone else actually, never seem able to pinpoint how much time she has, and ‘less than a year’ actually covered most of the series’ run to date. I therefore think it is a mistake to assume (as Hanako and everyone else seem to have assumed) that she was ‘fated’ to be Six’s sacrifice. She was right there, she answered the flute call, Hanako – importantly – wasn’t there to save her...and Six chose Aoi. Yashiro was even dropped down the pit first – but it’s Aoi that Six considered the sacrifice. (I think Hanako is a fatalist. I think he has great reasons to be one, but I also think he’s not the final authority on the flexibility of Fate.) That Aoi’s lifespan got transferred to Yashiro could well just be the Wish’s opportunism. “Here’s a bunch of years this girl Aoi isn’t using and Nene’s asked for – okay, transfer them.” That kind of thing. (I have so much more to say about this but it’ll have to be a different post.)
* It’s worth noting, too, that on at least three occasions Yashiro suffered an event that SHOULD HAVE killed her, and WOULD have killed her had she not already swalled the mermaid scale. The waters under the Misaki Stairs, the flooding of the Tea Party, and the cave of the sacrificed kannagi are all places where, if Yashiro didn’t automatically turn into a fish when wet enough, WOULD have killed her. So...it’s one hell of a handy ‘curse’, sometimes.
* Now. The crux of this. Yashiro experiences the memories of another supernatural when she destroys a yorishiro. From everything I’ve said above, you’ll see that I consider this equivalent to ‘eating a part of’ another supernatural – a spirit’s memories are integral to a spirit, as Mitsuba 2.0 demonstrated. She doesn’t devour the entire spirit, but I think she does get a boost from each yorishiro she receives memories from...and, as an additional point, all those memory boosts have come from the very strongest supernaturals – the Wonders. She’s absorbed memories/power from 2, 4, 5 and 6 so far.
* She’s strong enough now that she can cleanse a whole class of supernatural zombie virus using a container of salt and a swimming pool, which Teru acknowledges ‘shouldn’t have worked’ but that Yashiro is a special case. Using a protective charm lets her repel Hanako, and even on her own she’s proving increasingly resistant to having a supernatural’s powers used on her. (Such as waking up way before Hanako wanted her to in the PP arc, when during the Hell of Mirrors she was out like a light no matter how he tried to wake her.)
So, basically, though Yashiro hasn’t tested this (and I rather doubt most of the people with her would want to help her experiment) I do think Yashiro is already a living supernatural – and a moderately powerful one, at that. I don’t know when she’ll work it out, or if she’ll have to be told, but I do think it’s part of why her lifespan seems so flexible.

You had plans to send Levi to his grave. How dare he wake you up at like four in the morning only to start your makeup and hair an hour later? The makeup and hair team were completely respectful towards you and respected your space, considering today was going to be full of emotions.
As your face was getting beat, there was a knock at the door. The makeup artist working on your face stopped so that you could address the person at the door. "If your name is Levi, don't bother coming in," you say. The door opens and your heart jumps because
Her Royal Highness Princess Historia and her girlfriend, Ymir, were in YOUR room.
"Oh sh*t, Your Royal Highness," you let out. Members of your team start to curtsy and bow to Historia. Ymir stands awkwardly behind her. She must have been getting used to the royal bs around her.
You stand to curtsy as well but Historia raises a hand to stop you. "Today is all about you. Ymir and I are going to be your bridesmaids today! Levi called us and we decided we would support you today!" she says cheerfully.
So, Levi probably wasn't going to die today. Now, you couldn't bring yourself to be mad at him but you still side eyes him. He was a powerful guy- you were still under the impression that he said something to Mikasa during the show and caused her unusual behavior.
"O-Oh?"
"Yeah! Ymir and I will get changed but we'll see you in your dress."
And with that, the princess and her girl left your room. It was like a dream.
Tumblr media
5:30 am
Weeks before the wedding came, you went dress shopping. However, it didn't go how you wanted it to go. Ideally, you would be dress shopping with Sasha, Mikasa, and Connie. There was no way in hell you would call Sasha and ask her to go with you. You called Connie, who refused to pick up. You thought about calling Mikasa but you felt uneasy about it. So, Levi and his husband, Erwin, went with you.
Erwin was a complete angel. He asked you respectful questions about your life and even made you laugh. Spending time with Erwin made you realized how...dark Levi was and even made you question why they were even together. But your thoughts couldn't stop you from seeing how Levi melted under Erwin's touch. They loved each other. You hoped that You and Jean would be like that.
With their help, you managed to pick the perfect dress.
Slipping it on for the second time was just as magical as it was the first. Your team awed and cooed over how beautiful you looked. Historia and Ymir entered in matching pink outfits and immediately started fawning over how good you looked.
You felt your face redden up and you couldn't help but smile. But all of that went away when a familiar face entered.
"You...you look good, y/n."
"Mikasa...what are you doing here?"
Mikasa was standing in front of you in the same pink color that Ymir and Historia were in but her outfit was a sleeveless wide-legged jumpsuit. Her bangs were brushed away from her face and the rest of her hair sat behind her ears- well, mostly.
"Levi called me. He apologized for everything and told me to come over to apologize to you too. And then he forced me to be your maid of honor," Mikasa explained.
Levi forcing her to come over sounded like him but apologizing? He must have realized he went too far, especially since Mikasa was his niece. Levi was too caught up in creating and entertaining drama that he probably forgot Mikasa's relation to him.
So, you decided to let everything go.
You walk towards Mikasa with arms open and she's shocked but she doesn't hesitate to envelop you in her arms are well.
"I'm so sorry, y/n. I know was so out of line. I'll never let any man get in the way of our friendship again," Mikasa said as she squeezed you harder.
"Same here. If things don't work out with Jean, I'll marry you instead," you joke. You can feel Mikasa's laughter vibrate against your neck. She pulls away first and you proceed to ask another question. "Have you been in touch with Sasha?"
Mikasa purses her lips and shakes her head. "She's been radio silent. I can't tell if she got more backlash than me. She's off social media and just unwilling to speak with anyone. The hate probably got to her and she's just hiding for now."
You weren't too surprised. Mikasa was doing a job- a terrible one- but Sasha went out of her way to sleep with one of your guys...but she was drunk. You could imagine Sasha being the most discussed and debated online. Without speaking to her, you wouldn't know what was really going on in her mind.
"Oh! You never said hi to Princess Historia or Ymir. They're my bridesmaids for the day," you point out. The color leaves Mikasa's face when she realizes who's in the room with her. "Sh*t. Your Royal Highness," Mikasa curtsies. Historia lets out one of her signature giggles and begins to introduce herself and Ymir to Mikasa. As that goes on, your team starts helping you with your dress again.
You were slightly glad Mikasa was by your side today. The situation between the both of you was awkward but you were willing to give her another chance.
Tumblr media
7:30 am
In the last two hours, you've done photoshoots and chat with everyone around you. Now it was time for Jean to be yours and for you to be his. You did question the early wedding time that Levi gave you but this would probably be the last time you saw that man so let's just let him do what he wants.
You were visibly nervous. You were gripping onto Mikasa's hand like it would be your last time doing so. "Hey, just remember, he's not your real husband. At least for now. This is all show," Mikasa reminds you. She was right. Jean may have been romantic with you but also he got his hour of fame, he could possibly leave you. Maybe he would get married to Connie.
You started to take a few deep breaths as you pulled up in front of the venue. Levi had rented a beach (not the one you and Connie were on) for your wedding.
From what you could see in the car, there were multiple seats and people were filling them up. You hoped that Connie's family had no ill-feeling toward you and decided to show up. It would be a shame since you were caught on television talking about how you would love for them to be there.
Your car came to a slow end. "y/n, do not worry. Remember, THIS is all fake. Only you decide if it's real," Mikasa reminds you. Levi opens your door and offers his hand to you. "It's go time." Mikasa helped you with your veil making sure that it wouldn't hit the ground.
"y/n, I know I may have been a menace but I'm happy for you. You might have had the most popular season yet," he says. Him bringing up ratings was no shock to you. You don't reply and Levi have his moment.
You like to think that Jean would like to spend the rest of his life with you. You knew that wasn't the case with many Bachelorettes and Bachelors but you look at Levi and Erwin...ah well, that wasn't a good example, considering that Erwin wasn't a contestant. He was the previous host. 'CALM DOWN,' you tell yourself, 'YOU AND JEAN WILL BE GOOD. AND IF HE DOESN'T LIKE YOU, ITS WHATEVER BECAUSE I'M THE BEST THING EVER.'
Minutes later, you're at the end of the aisle. Jean has his back turned and he's pacing back and forth slightly. Next to him is Connie. You know this because you recognize his big egg head. You're happy he put everything aside to support the both of you.
Mikasa takes her place in front of you and the music starts. Levi offers you his arm and you take it.
This was really happening.
You looked into the audience with a smile on your face but everything was moving so fast, you couldn't recognize their faces.
Before you knew it, you were by Jean. He still couldn't look at you- not until Levi gave you away. The marriage officiant clears his throat and begins to talk.
"We are gathered here today to witness the union of Jean and y/n. Welcome friends and family! We're glad to have you with us.
Today is the beginning of a remarkable journey for this couple. Drawing on their mutual admiration, respect, and trust, they are ready to embark on the next chapter in their lives. We celebrate the love and light evident in their relationship and wish them well on this joyous occasion.
Who gives this woman away?"
"I do," Levi answers. He takes Jean's hand and places it on top of yours. Jean then moves his under yours so that he could hold it. He looks down at Levi and mouths 'Thank you'. The shorter male nods and takes a seat.
The officiant gives you and Jean a moment to face each other. Jean had the biggest smile on his face when his eyes landed on you. "You look gorgeous," he whispers. "You're not so bad yourself," you reply.
The officiant continues. "If anyone has cause to object to the forming of this union, speak now or forever hold your peace." You look over Jean's shoulder to see Connie. You couldn't see his whole face, thanks to Jean's height, but you could see his eyes. They were narrowed and looking straight at you.
You wanted to feel bad, but you couldn't. YOU decided that Connie would not be your spouse, and that was final.
No one responded to the officiant's request, so he continued.
"Marriage is an integral part of the human tradition. Let us remember, as we stand here before the Universe, that the vows taken today hold great importance, just as they did to our ancestors. As individuals, we choose to enter the union of marriage to share all aspects of ourselves with our soulmate. Today, this is true for Jean and y/n."
Soulmate. You hoped that was true for you and Jean. You did meet him on a tv show.
"There are few greater joys in life than finding someone with whom we truly "click." In that spirit, I will now share a short reading on soulmates from author Richard Bach:
"A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not for who we're pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we're safe in our own paradise. Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we're two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we've found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life."
Under the eyes of Ymir, together we take a moment to acknowledge the seriousness of the commitment being entered into today. With great joy, we also recognize the special bond shared by Jean and y/n.."
This...this was a special bond indeed. Not only that, it was completely random. The next part of the wedding was your vows. The next part of solidifying your relationship.
"I will now invite the couple to share their vows. Jean and y/n, the promises you make today are sacred; they are the groundwork from which your marriage will grow and blossom over time.
Jean, would you like to begin first?"
Jean nods and squeezes your hands. "y/n, hopefully by the end of this ceremony, you will be my wife. I know there's a lot that you're worried about but I'll do everything to make you happy. I'll always protect you and keep you satisfied."
"y/n, your turn."
"Jean. I'm not too sure what to say...you've out-speeched me," you joke. Jean chuckled. "But...I too promise to love and protect you. I'll also make sure we're on the same page because that's very important for our relationship. I'm willing to fight for us."
You look at the officiant, letting him know that you were done.
"Let us proceed. Jean, before your family and friends, do you take y/n as your beloved Wife, to have and to hold, through laughter and in sadness, through challenges and successes, so long as you both shall live?"
Jean is silent for a moment. He's rubbing the back of your right hand and staring straight into your eyes- almost as if he was reevaluating everything. This made you nervous. Jean was a smart guy. You know you couldn't hold him down and force him to do anything he didn't want.
"I...I do," he finally answers. The weight on your chest dissolves.
"y/n, before your family and friends, do you take Jean as your beloved Husband, to have and to hold, through laughter and in sadness, through challenges and successes, so long as you both shall live?"
"Yes, I do," you answer quickly. You hear small laughs coming from the audience.
The officiant gives you a small smile before continuing. "Wedding rings are a traditional symbol of the strength of the bond between two soulmates."  Connie comes from behind Jean with the wedding bands and gave you both one.
"This bond is never broken, and continues in a perpetual circle, glowing with the warmth and eternal light of two souls in a perfect union. By wearing these rings, you will be always reminded of the connection you share and the vows you have made today. Jean, please, repeat after me;
I, Jean..."
"I, Jean..."
"present you, y/n, with this ring..."
"present you, y/n, with this ring..."
"as a symbol of our everlasting love."
"as a symbol of our everlasting love."
"Let it never lose its luster..."
"Let it never lose its luster..."
"just as my love for you will never fade."
"just as my love for you will never fade."
Jean, still gently holding your hand, slips the ring on (whatever finger your culture uses for weddings!). He can't help but admire it for a moment. He looks back up at you with the biggest grin. All you had to do was place the ring on his finger and your marriage would be "official".
"y/n, repeat after me. I, y/n..."
"I, y/n..."
"present you, Jean, with this ring..."
"present you, Jean, with this ring..."
"as a symbol of our everlasting love..."
"as a symbol of our everlasting love..."
"let it never lose its luster..."
"let it never lose its luster..."
"just as my love for you will never fade."
"just as my love for you will never fade."
You slip the ring onto Jean's left finger.
"By the power vested in me by the Ymir Life Church and Paradis, under the eyes of the Ymir, I happily pronounce you Husband and Wife! Jean, kiss your bride."
At that moment, everyone disappeared. It was just you and Jean. Jean places a hand on your waist and pulls you in. You find your hands riding up his chest and resting on his shoulder as you get closer. You and Jean connect and all of sudden, you're not in that bubble anymore.
"Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time, I give you Mr. Kirstein and Mrs. l/n!!."
Tumblr media
You and Jean left together as "spouses". The first thing you did was official wedding photoshoots that were to be spread all over Paradis and all over the world- thanks to social media. Y'all kinda look like Meghan and Harry tbh.
Anyway.
You both got an opportunity to change in your reception outfits. After that, it was another car ride to the reception venue. Jean held your hand and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful you looked. You were so flustered, you couldn't get a response out. When you reached the venue, the driver helped out first and Jean slipped out of the car after you. He took your hand and entered the reception venue with you.
When you entered the dining hall, you were welcomed by cheers and claps. It was extremely overwhelming- not in a bad sense, however. You looked around the room and caught some familiar faces. You saw Bertholdt and Reiner sitting at a table with another unfamiliar girl. Across the room, Mikasa is seated with Connie, Historia, and Ymir. Everyone else is family that Levi most likely reached out to.
You and Jean take a seat and the cheering calms down. You lean on Jean's shoulder and sigh. The day wasn't over yet, but you were already so tired. Jean places his head on top of yours. "I can't wait to just be with you. I don't know what you had planned tonight but to be honest, I just want to sleep. I haven't realized how tired I was until now," Jean says quietly. "I have to agree. Let's just take a shower, cuddle and just pass out."
Jean brings his head up and smirks at you. "A shower? Together?" You only roll your eyes jokingly. "Oh, look, I think Levi is gonna call us up to have our first dance." "Don't worry, I'll get my answer sooner or later, y/n. You can't run from me." Jean pokes your arm teasingly, which causes you to squirm a little bit. Levi calls you up and Jeans takes your hand to lead you to the dance floor.
(Song of your choice) starts playing and you're not even sure where to start. Jean has a hand on your waist and is holding your free hand. You have a hand on his shoulders. "I'm not even sure where to start, we never practiced," you whisper. Jean smiles softly. "Don't worry about it. We're in this together aren't we?" He begins to move, taking full control. You stumble a bit but your reception dress hides your clumsiness. After a bit, you weren't stumbling anymore. You rest your head on Jean's shoulder and he pulls you even closer. Your movements get even slower. The music slowly disappeared and so did everyone else. It was just you and Jean.
When the music actually came to an end, you pulled away slowly. "You did great," Jean says softly. "So did you." You both go back to your seats. Waiters started to come out and take everyone's orders for dinners and started to pour drinks- meaning a toast would be coming up.
Mikasa comes up to the dance floor and awkwardly clanks her glass, trying to get everyone's attention. Everyone turned their heads and it wasn't because of the awkward clanking of the glass. There were some 'What the hell is she doing here?'s and 'Eren's b*tch?'s. You could visibly see Mikasa's nervousness so you attempted to lock eyes with her. It took her a while but she could finally look you in the eye. Mikasa clears her throat. "Um, hi. You're probably wondering why I'm here but today is not about me. It's about y/n and Jean. I was once y/n's closets friends until I was pressured to do something that I wouldn't normally do." Mikasa gives Levi a side-eye. The shrimp man crosses his arms and rolls his eyes.
"y/n is absolutely amazing...I can't really put it into words but there's something about her that just make people want to be around her. I can see why Jean fought so hard to be with her."
Jean squeezes your hand when she makes that comment.
"I often think to myself about how y/n could have easily met Jean at a café or a movie theatre or something rather than on TV show. But at the same time, this was good for her...and all of us. Here we discovered the lengths of our friendship and who we really were as people. I believe these ups and downs helped y/n find Jean- her true love. Honestly, I wish you both a happy future. Make it worth it."
Mikasa raises her glass and everyone clinks their glass with their neighbors. Connie begins to walk up to the dance floor as soon as Mikasa leaves.
"I'm going to be really honest with you. This is was unexpected. I honestly thought that today was going to be about me." Connie raises his eyebrows at Jean, who furrows them.
"But I guess it's a good thing I didn't marry y/n. I wouldn't have been enough to handle. So, congrats to you, Jean. You're tolerable."
Connie gets off the dance floor without giving you or Jean a look. You look at Jean and he's hurt. "H-hey...maybe he's drunk or something. In his feelings, you know? Don't let him make you feel bad," you say. Jean gives you a small smile before sipping down his drink.
Moments later, it was time for parent dances. Jean got up to dance with his mom. It was a little bit uncoordinated than yours but they looked like they were having a lot of fun.
Next was the bouquet and garter toss. You started with the garter first. You sat in a chair with your legs cross. You knew this was going to happen but it wasn't rehearsed. Jean could see your uneasiness, so he started doing a silly sensual dance. It made you laugh and your laughter got louder once he started shimming down to the floor. He got closer to your thigh and you felt your face heating up. You slapped your hand over your mouth once he starting biting the garter and pulling it off. As he continued, you cupped your face. When Jean was finally day, cheers erupted and you uncovered your hot face. Jean closes his eyes and throws the garter into the crowd and it lands in the hands of Reiner. The guys cheer even louder for him as he awkwardly glances over at Bertholdt, who is a few people away from him.
Next was the bouquet throwing. You closed your eyes and the guest counted you off. Once you heard the number three, you threw the bouquet. You open your eyes and turn around to see that Bertholdt had gotten the flowers. His face is so red...he look like a tomato.
After your guest settled down, it was time to cut your cake, meaning that your wedding day was almost over. You picked a (cake of your choice) for tonight. "It looks delicious. I can't wait to try it," Jean whispers in your ear. "It is. You'll love it," you respond. You pick up a knife. Jean wraps his hands around yours. You both gently place the knife on the cake and pushed it down. You lean back to give Jean a kiss and he gives you one. Jean grabs two forks by the cake and hands one over to you.
Jean scoops a piece of the cake first. He places a hand on your chin and you open your mouth. "Ladies first," he says as he places the cake in your mouth. You take a minute to savor the taste before swallowing. You also take a piece of the cake and get on your toes to feed Jean. He chuckles softly at your struggle before taking the fork from you and feeding himself. "You're right, it's good," he says after swallowing. He bends down slightly to give you another kiss.
Tumblr media
The night was slowly coming to an end. There was no sight of Connie after his stupid speech and Levi and Erwin were getting ready to get home. Historia and Ymir had left right after the cake cutting ceremony but had promised to call you once everything had settled down. You and Jean formally greeted your guest and started your goodbyes.
Mikasa had gone up to you with a slightly awkward face. "Today wasn't so bad, huh?" she starts. You give her a kind smile. "It wasn't. Did you enjoy yourself?" Mikasa pauses to answer. "Your wedding was beautiful...however, I can't get upset over the reaction about me being here. y/n, I have to apologize again. What I did was completely wrong. I shouldn't even be blaming Levi for everything. I could have told you at first and-"
You pull Mikasa into a hug to shut her up. "Mikasa, move on. Come on, we're adults! At least you're apologizing and trying- unlike someone we know," you joke. You pull away. "Hopefully, if Jean and I have a real wedding, it won't be as awkward for you." Mikasa nods. "I'll see you around. Congrats." As Mikasa walks off, Reiner, Bert, and this mystery blonde come up to you. Inside Reiner's pocket is your garter sticking out and Bertholdt is clenching your bouquet.
"Hey," you start," Thank you for coming. Who's your friend?"
Bertholdt looks over at the blonde. "Thank you for inviting us...um...this is Annie. My dad thought you were her."
Now, why did Bertie's dad think you was this yt girl?😟
LMAO. "Nice to keep you, Annie. You Bertie's girl?" you ask.
Annie shakes her head no frantically. "OH, NO. Never in a million years, no. Yuck!" she answers dramatically. Reiner throws an arm over Bert's shoulder. "He's actually my boy now," he says proudly. "OH-! Congrats! So we're having a wedding for you soon, yes?" You tease. Reiner nods and Bertie tries to hide his face in Reiner's hair. "When did this all happen...? I just eliminated you like...two weeks ago?"
"Well...Reiner and I were still in contact and when I left, he reached out to me. We met up a few times and we hit it off," Bertie explains. "Congrats. I'm really happy to hear that," you answer. You turn around to look for Jean. He's talking to his mom. He gives you a small glance before continuing his conversation with her. "I better go catch up with Jean. It was nice to see you...and finally meeting you, Annie." The trio say their goodbyes before leaving.
You make your way over to Jean but you're stopped by the human fit of annoyance- Levi. You were so tired of him but you threw on a smile since Erwin was walking over as well. "Yes, Levi? I thought we were done here," you say in a singsong voice. "Aw, you're ready to go?" Levi says sarcastically. You open your mouth to answer but he cuts you off. "For starters, thank you for adding on to mine and Erwin's paychecks. We really appreciate it. Arrangements for your hotel and honeymoon have been put together. You're tired of me, but don't hesitate to call me if something goes wrong. Besides that, I wish you luck. Make everything worth it."
Levi walks past you and Erwin stops to hug you before following his husband.
Jean makes his way up to you, his mom following behind. "Everything good? I saw shrimp talking to you." You take Jean's hand. "Everything's good." Jean pulls you into a side hug. "Aw, you guys are so cute. I really do hope you last," Jean's mom comments, "I've always wanted a daughter."
"Mom, nothing's official yet-"
"I'm glad you think of me as your daughter, June."
"Well, I'll see you later. Jean, take care of her tonight. Be good to her and listen to her. Don't be rough, she's not a rag doll," June warned her son. She had a finger up in his face and everything. Seeing their relationship on the regular was going going to be hilarious.
Jean swats his mom's finger out of his face before waving her goodbye. He then fully wraps his arms around you. "No offense. But I'm glad this is over. We'll get to know each other one on one now," he says. You can't help but agree.
Tumblr media
ITS FINALLY OVER. well not exactly. i have one more chapter to write and y’all will never hear about levi, 12 guys, and dates ever again😭 but since this series has reached its goal (you getting married) please do me a favor and rate my series, it would be appreciated!

Twisted Wonderland Dorm Leaders -- Seven Social Sins
⚠️Contains Chapter 5 Spoilers⚠️
Villains in Disney classics are known to possess questionable morals, and because of that, they are deemed evil. In twisted wonderland, the characters are inspired by these villains. Although it doesn't mean that they are entirely evil, there is no doubt that the shady octopus man does shady business, and there is no doubt that our favorite snake boy spits venom (he doesn't but still).
Anyways, villains are known to be quirky, in a bad way. As the title suggests, they are the people that society has taught us to stay away from. In the school of villainous kids, the dorm leaders play most of the important toles in the story. Each one represent a spectrum of social nuh uhs.
Riddle Rosehearts: Politics without Principle (Sorry, honey for the uncool picture but he do go UGIII)
Tumblr media
I mean. "In this dormitory, I am rule. The answer should always be "Yes dorm head!"".  Normally, politics without principle involves common folk like us picking a representative to stand for us, but we still call the politicians corrupt. In the heart dorm, everyone is part of a system that involves weird rules and an angry goldfish for a leader. They all complain about Riddle's behaviour, but none of them really do anything about it until the loud and obnoxious hurricane of a boy came party crashing.
Leona Kingscholar: Wealth Without Work.
Tumblr media
As it suggests, this implies getting something by doing absolutely nothing. Wants to beat Malleus by cheating? Yessir. Creates a dirty plan involving dirty work? Yessir. Doesn't even do the dirty work himself? YESSIR. This is because of the despair that stems from his position as second son. Once there is an opportunity, he sure as heck will take the opportunity.
Azul Ashengrotto: Commerce Without Morality
Tumblr media
Kontrak go brrr. Azul is as shady as he is hardworking. And resourceful too! Lack of employees? ANEMONIES, JADE, ANEMONIES! Lack of funds? THERE IS NO SUCH LACK OF FUNDS NOW BUY ME THE MR.S DRINK BRAND, FLOYD. Sells funny gadgets in beans day? Yup. Uses Floyd juice to make poor Vil's toner? (I'll sell my soul to you though 👀.. or not).
Kalim Al-Asim: Pleasure Without Conscience
Tumblr media
Our sweet baby boy is born into a rich family already. With that amount of gold coins, he can pay all the students' college debt. Of course there would be nothing worrying that crosses his pure mind. Which is exactly why he fails to realize that Jamil is suffering. His everyday happiness and easily earned success costs Jamil his freedom and potential. He doesn't mean to though poor boy is a little dense s'all. 😔
⚠️Chapter 5 Spoilers⚠️
Vil Shoenheit: Knowledge Without Character (Yes Queen eat that cake you deserve it)
Tumblr media
Vil defintely focuses a lot on his presentation, how others perceive him. He deems beauty to be power, and works hard to hone it to perfection. However, he is frustrated at the fact that Neige has more time in the spotlight. It's not your fault Vil. We all agree that he is gorgeous, but the media of twisted wonderland only sees what he shows and compares the final product with that of Neige's, disregarding the effort he has put into his craft.
Idia Shroud: Science Without Humanity
Tumblr media
Well we haven't seen Chapter 6 yet, but the fire man is known to be really good at engineering. Perhaps it is this talent that has caused Ortho to be what he is. We shall see.
Malleus Draconia: Religion Without Sacrifice.
Tumblr media
You can't tell me that horny boy ain't got a cult. He doesn't, but the DiaCast do be giving out cult vibes, especially Sebek. Like Idia, we do not know exactly what role Diasomnia will be playing in the storyline, but rather than religion, I think that the correct term for thus would be "faith". Faith in their Prince, or Faith in humanity. I also think that it would involve Sebek and a turmoil between his fey and human side, which requires him to either betray his master, or side with him.
Yes, the boys each have their own problems, but it does not mean that they are evil. Twisted Wonderland is a game full of juxtaposition between light and dark, hard work and talent, and many more. As the opening said, "being a little bad could not hurt". Perhaps the story would focus on the idea that there is no one who is completely black or white. Rather, we, lile the characters are all different shades of grey,  and should learn to accept it instead of succumbing to a "bad ending".  We as the director are have probably been given the task of preventing rhe boys from falling into complete darkeness (blot)  so that they will all succeed and become great mages one day.

here's the third part of my deltarune meta/theory thingy..sorry its a little late, im kinda unwell lol
here's the first and second post to get you up to speed.
now that ive explained why i think jevil and spamton know that they're all in a video game, i wanna talk about why that's important and how it might manifest in future chapters.
disclaimer: This one is especially...all over the place and unintelligible...as i said im unwell and my heads not all that clear. i might come back to this a day or two later and rewrite it to make more sense when i feel better though.
i wanna talk about undertale first.
imo, a big part of why undertale became so fucking popular and significant is because it challenged a core mechanism of video games that we've all just accepted without questioning: defeating enemies.
even though not all video games feature it, you gotta admit its become an integral part of gaming as a whole. it's a norm we don't really question--we see an enemy and we just go, oh. gotta defeat em. this is just one of many traditions in video games that's just gone unquestioned and is understood to be the status quo: control the player character, defeat enemies, get loot/experience, defeat the final boss, etc, to name a few
it's just ingrained in our brains that that's how we play video games, that's just how it is.
but undertale came along and challenged that perception big time, made us think about it and, most importantly, question the consequences of that action.
toby fox is doing this yet again in deltarune: making us question something that we've just accepted as the norm. that norm being: the very act of playing video games. and maybe even the act of telling and reading/watching/playing a story as a whole!
the first thing that comes to mind wrt this topic is, of course, kris. throughout deltarune chapter 1 and 2 we've been made to really think about what it means to control a video game character-- to control kris, and how it's actually... really horrifying. waking up one day with all sense of agency taken away from you, unable to do what YOU want to do, being controlled by someone else.
but its not just control that we're being told to rethink, its.... everything.
making us think about how, in the eyes of a video game character, playing a game is inherently cruel. player characters stripped of agency, made to just become a medium by which you control and affect their world. even characters who we can't control will be affected by us through our ability to interact with the world. noelle in the snowgrave route comes to mind.
the fate of everything is determined by you, the player, everyone else has lost the right to determine their own lives. you control what happens to them. you choose to play the snowgrave route. and you choose to make characters suffer by not only playing this route but playing it more than onceonce if you so wish.
maybe the characters do not know that rhe horrible events happening now have happened before but its still cruel. you've seen this horrible story once before and you are making it happen again. but you also have the power to help them, too.
i remember when undertale first came out, i read something. (not sure where. on Tumblr? on youtube? some other site?) I read about a particular player who got so attached to the world and characters that they played the pacifist route, gave the characters the best ending, and, in an attempt to give that world and its characters their happily ever after, put the executive for the game in a ZIP file and locked it with a password too complicated to remember.
all to make sure theyd never reset the game, even if they wanted to.
deltarune makes me think of that. a lot. and i think that's where the plot is going.
Okay this is the part of the post that actually examines the game and collects evidence for my point instead of just rambling. oops
i ended my last post on a bit of a "cliffhanger", when i was talking about how spamton's "heaven" is our world, and how it connects to the "angel's heaven" in the prophecy, but never elaborated on that last part.
i'm pretty sure that angel's heaven is the same as spamtons heaven, with us players being the angels in question. we and our world are given this heavenly theme for two reasons, i think:
heaven, angels, god etc i think are all related to the concept of creation and power and therefore, control. heaven and angels are immense beings of incredible power with the ability to do anything they want--in this case, controlling people, determining the fate of hometown, saving and resetting and deleting saves etc.
a heavenly theme contrasts well with the more....satanic themes you see with the characters of deltarune. if we are angels, then of course those who oppose as are going to be demons
and yes. i also believe that the angel in the deltarune logo is us, the players, while the three runes are kris, susie and ralsei.
so... now we know that the prophecy of the angels heaven is the same heaven as spamtons heaven, what does that prophecy even mean?
well, given how ive discussed that the very act of playing deltarune is cruel, i think the prophecy fortells kris & co getting rid of us, the player. how that happens gameplay wise i have no idea but it makes me think back to that thing i read about years ago-- people putting undertale in a ZIP file after acheiving the true pacifist ending, and locking it with a password never meant to be remembered, so they can never ruin that happy ending even if they wanted to.
also.... idk how to even connect this to my point but i just wanna mention it somehow so uhh.
fun (insane) fact: did you know that deltarune had its own website all the way back in fucking 2016???? that's like, ONE year after undertales release.
and the entire website was pitch black.
but it had an image in it, called him.png, which was also pitch black and thus blended with the rest of the website.
when you brightened the image, it had a message in wingdings
Tumblr media
when translated, it reads:
THREE HEROES APPEARED TO BANISH THE ANGEL'S HEAVEN
gaster knows all about it and i have a feeling that spamtons knowledge of heaven, angels, souls and so on and so forth come from gaster.
i wonder if gaster is the person responsible for the prophecy in the first place-- after being shatteree across time and space he learns of the existence of our real world and decides to put an end to us meddling with these worlds inside these games.
although.... he might want to ro something else entirely. if he really wanted to stop us, then why would he invite us to play deltarune? because the cryptic tweets sent by gaster at the time of deltarune's release all sound... inviting. he wants us to help him out somehow.
Tumblr media
he's so polite! it does not seem like someone who wants us gone.
unless it's a trap, or trick... that he's using us to learn how to get rid of us from meddling with the world of deltarune.
or maybe he wants something else... he wants to meld our worlds together.
man idk. that's it im out of ideas *_* if you read all the way here and also read my first two posts, first of all thank you and second of all im so sorry its so anticlimactic and all over the place. as i said im a bit unwell so my heads a bit hazy too. i might come back to this post and re-do it and clean it up more when i feel better!

I was unsatisfied that this is where the book ended. So I’m taking on the task of adding a 3rd book to the series,
Tumblr media
and I’ve already added the summaries to my masterlist, though I’m not expecting to post anything until towrds the end of this year. I’m currently focusing on my Open Heart AU, Exiled Problems to start posting it April 1st, and Fixing A Broken Heart, Part Two to give you on my birthday.
After those two, I have my Vampire Ball AU and another Open Heart AU to focus on. But this Open Heart AU is a collaboration with a friend I’ve made here who I hold close to me. I have many Ethan mutuals but this girl is by far one of the craziest, though. I love it as much as I love the energy she brings.
The series this post is about, is called Just Roommates. I will summarise what the series is about in general, in a note at rhe start of chapter one. Though I am working on a name for this other than “Just Roommates 3.” bc I feel like it’s wrong.
I also have a Rafael Aveiro, Open Heart AU I’m still planning and ideas for smaller fanfictions that keep popping into my mind. Trying to keep up with them is so hard, especially when you have a mother that doesn’t allow you two seconds to breath and be an actual adult. She moans about you not having a job, but then wants you to have her house reflection worthy everyday so you have no time for job searching or resume writing.
I have no idea how I mange to produce the content that I do, but I’m grateful that I’m able too because it’s given me amazing mutuals and amazing friends!
And even though these days I may be distant and post way less, reblogging way more. I will spoil you all soon with some more original content ❤️✨
