Having an addict get a divorce and hook up with his coworker before during afterwards is not a "weird situation" by any means.

If you don't like the ship, block it. You are old enough to complaining about ship preferences on the Internet, you should be old enough to figure out how to do that.

We’ve covered headcanons for Grace and Pete (albeit through Bible Study), so what are your headcanons for Steph (and her ships)?

OKAY I LOVE STEPH LAUTER SHES MY FAVOURITE

Solo headcanons (a short list because this is all off the top of my head)

She's mixed and in my mind she's more dark skinned and has textured hair (I try describe her as such in my fics)

She's also chubby. Thick thighs, great tits, tummy.

I'm one of the many believers of the "Stephs mum was Honey Queen" and I think she's friends with Max because his mum was also honey queen

Steph has horrible coordination. She was going to go to try outs for the cheer team as a freshman. Brenda and Stacy had to sit her down and tell her she looks like a fish out of water.

She's a good cook because she was alone a lot growing up, however she burns stuff like toast regularly so Miss Tessburger and her dad don't know. Cooking is her thing and she's actively gatekeeping it.

She can sew

Stephs spotify wrapped is atrocious because she has like 500,000 minutes and her most listened to artist is always the Rio movie soundtrack. Second is Fleetwood Mac

She needs some sort of noise to sleep (hence the Rio movie soundtrack being her top artist)

The only reason she struggles at school is because she struggles with the basic concepts. Once she has the fundamentals of her work, she's really good at it (without help, English was the only class she could pass but she got solid Bs)

She's agnostic because her dad would always talk about higher powers when she was younger

She has an ao3 account. She's chronically online and pansexual, she reads fanfic

Steph swaps clothes with Pete whenever she can. He never knows when she'll do this until he finds her shirt in his bedroom.

All Pete's sweaters fit her really well but all Stephs flannels are huge on him

Pete tried to help her with her English work once and got stuck into a conversation about like, the forced feminization of Victor Frankenstein in the book Frankenstein

Steph loves PDA while Pete hates it, so to avoid pushing boundaries, Steph blows him kisses in public. He always catches them.

In private, Steph's always touching him somehow (normally trying ti find an excuse to hold his bicep)

Pete has tried to teach Steph to dance exactly one time. She stood on his feet like 20 times before that decided it was a horrible idea

Grace has been crushing on Steph for years (my source is abstinence camp because you can't tell me Grace doesn't have a crush on her)

Grace loves hugs but isn't super comfortable with kissing, so Steph always has an arm around her if she's nearby.

They have such different tastes in music, like if they're together they can only really listen to podcasts or Christian rock (think monster by skillet because it's Stephs taste in music but Christian)

Stephs a good two inches taller than Grace and keeps trying to get Grace in her clothes (or at least her shirts)

Stephs cropped shirts are nearly normal length on Grace

Their first date was to a museum

Steph collects shiny things for Grace like a crow. It's mostly the hairclips she's stolen from Grace and then found a month later

If they have a movie night, they all end up falling asleep on the floor in front of the couch in a little huddle

Steph was both of their first kisses and had to hype her partners up so they could kiss eachother

They tutor Steph and call it a date (because she keeps flirting to distract them from the homework)

Steph orders for the whole table if they're out to eat anywhere.

They have a PowerPoint night once a month to try explain some of their interests to their partners. Stephs is normally internet drama, Pete's working through doing a plot analysis for every starwars movie, Grace discovered Jesus Christ Superstar and has opinions on it

When they move out of Hatchetfield, they flat together and Steph does the cooking most nights while watching movies she knows her partners wouldn't like. She needs 'zone out online' time and tends to get it while she's cooking so she doesn't ignore her partners later

This is a really short list of my headcanons for Steph and her ships. I'm a huge multishipper so I'm happy to see her with anyone, those three ships are just the ones I actively seek out fics for

I'm not really a believer in "OOC".

Rather, it's a challenge to persuade me to your idea of a character/relationship. Some ideas only take a short-form post for me to be like "yeah they'd do that!". Others require a 3,000+ word fic. Others still require a solid 100,000+ words, but those are usually the ones that change my entire brain chemistry along with it.

i really wanna write dinluke i just have no idea how to broach the fandom (i mean i probably should read some fanfiction to start) and also i am so scared to be wrong but

imagine they get super close and fall in love (duh) and din finally feels safe enough to show his face to luke, the only person he trusts only slightly less than grogu, but he’s too scared to lift his own mask. not like Fear, just. unfamiliarity. but he wants to prove to luke that he trusts him. so he allows luke to lift his helmet for him. and luke of course does it carefully, going slowly in case din decides he wants to take it back, just in case he isn’t ready. but din doesn’t take it back, so luke removes his helmet and sees the worry in din’s eyes drain into a smile. and they don’t even kiss right away, luke just takes in the man’s face. the slight stubble on his chin. dark eyebrows framing deep brown eyes. his hair??? luke wasn’t sure what he expected din’s hair to look like but a full head of bushy brown hair wasn’t on the list.

anyway finally they kiss and luke runs his hand(s) through those locks of chocolate. din removes his gloves so he can return the favor and finally they’re removing armor and clothing and shoes and i think it takes a while for them to get used to each others’ bodies like it isn’t rough or fast or hurried at all, it’s just exploring new skin and lips and feelings. and in the morning i think they wake up together in the sheets and cuddle and start saying dumb stuff like “well that was unexpected” or “so what now?” and as they’re being cute and gross grogu force opens the door and they’re like “it’s not what it looks like” and grogu is like “wah?”

idk the end i’ll probably write this in the future once i get the characterizations down more

Duncan tried to tell her before they showed up that this would be different. She should give it a try. It’d been years since the last party she went to with him (she’d been dating Trent at the time to, something Duncan further blamed for her bad time). Maybe she’d like it now. And Duncan wouldn’t leave her alone, he swore. No awkward hanging out by herself and the dog should they have one. And if Trent was there, Duncan would punch him just for her. Blah blah. All sorts of promises. Well. She wasn’t into it. Like she said she wouldn’t be. Duncan fucked off somewhere else. Like she thought he would. And she saw her ex Trent floating around and she was doing everything in her power to avoid any awkward small talk that would ensue the second he saw her again. Like she feared.  Of course the party was going to be that predictable. She should have put money on it. And there wasn't even a dog. Around midnight she’d gotten sick of the whole thing. But Duncan was off doing something (hopefully not someone) and Geoff found her. They talked. She mentioned maybe looking for DJ and leaving. But Geoff lit up like she’d just told him he won a prize and her night got a little weird. Instead of just saying bye or helping her find DJ or literally anything else, Geoff was instantly offering to talk her back to her dorm. So that got her where she was now, walking with Geoff away from his party.  What the fuck.

Summery: A classic 'Geoff walks Gwen home' story set in the year of 2013/2014, in which Gwen has decided to leave a party early and Geoff has decided he'll walk her home. (College AU, no camp.)

Going Crazy over Vania/Harumi again. Especially Harumi's-redemtpion-arc Vania/Harumi.

Harumi who spent most of her life either acting or being driven by her hatered and anger alone. Who reached a point in her (second) life where she doesn't need to act because there is no one to decieve and where her anger has no clear target. Where she doesn't have anyone to devote herself to, to base her entire being on. A ruler of nothing but herself, with more strength than she can handle.

Vania who spent so much of her life being true to herself and acting with love and care towards everyone who came her way and didn't strike first. Who looked on as her only remaining family tried to kill her heroes, terrorized two whole nations and then tried to take over the world. Who was cast into a life where she has no one to fall back on by her side and a kingdom with twice as many people as it did during her father's rule and twice as many problems, too. A ruler of so many with so few rescources and even less experience.

Harumi who lost her family to an evil beyond the control of the ninja and who chose to pin the blame on humans and not destiny -- on beings that she knew that she could hurt if she only tried hard enough.

Vania who lost what little she had left of her family to an evil beyond the control of the ninja and who chose to pin the blame on evil itself, her father, destiny -- anything and everything, just so that she wouldn't end up hurting anyone who didn't deserve it at all.

Harumi who spent so much of her life actively choosing to hate.

Vania who spent so much of her life actively trying to love.

And then they meet. Both princesses. Both sure that they should despise each other, because they stand (or stood) for opposite things.

But then Vania's reluctant attempts at only partially judging Harumi for what she did, at being polite but not mean, turn into being kind and a bit smitten. Harumi's determination to become a good person (or someone who does some good, at least) drives her into appreaciating Vania, slowly but surely placing her on the same pedestal that she devoted to the Overlord and Garmadon before him.

Vania, raised by a single father, lonely upon an ivory throne of problems, starts to fall for the girl who gives her advice on managing a population. Who reminds her that she needs to rest in order to be as strong as she possibly can. Who teaches her to have a steady hand, somehting that she might need help with sometimes.

Harumi, someone who's never let herself be properly liked by someone so real, a love so true as Vania's, begins to adore the girl that teaches her how to be a teenager even despite their postions -- even despite the fact that one of them is a queen and the other is the ex-right hand of two evil overlords. The girl that doesn't hesitate to communicate how she feels. That offers Harumi a shoulder to lean on.
