Genuinely confused

I'm really confused about the people who draw/reblog art for this game but have "proship dni" in their bio, like what does that even mean exactly? Cause DOL has everything, from vore, to pseudo-incest, bestiality, and unavoidable non-con/dub-con. Like who is supposed to interact with your content then?

some Shark guys biology musings from the span of the past year or so. Don't ask me what their hands are shaped like I'm basically re-inventing it every time I draw it right now

The gills have closed up forming a buccal pouch filled with blood vessels, now used for thermoregulation rather than gas exchange. They might pant out of their mouth when particularly hot/out of breath, but because sharks will also gape their mouth to communicate stress/aggression they tend to avoid it whenever possible. Their faces don't have a lot of muscles to form detailed expressions; the extent of facial expressions for sharks tend to be seen through the openness of the eyes and mouth.

Here's a rough thing of the evolution of terrestrial sharks:

The bulk of modern terrestrial sharks can be found on the eastern half of the Big Continent (I'm not naming it bc what if SQL names their landmasses officially), where crocodilians have gone extinct. The other lineages of salamander sharks can also be found along the many islands stretching across the ocean off to the southeast of the continent as well. None of them are in traditional cephaling territory but lmao

Crocodile sharks are. Well. They're a group of larger freshwater sharks that frequently occupy a crocodile-like niche. Smaller species can be confused with salamander sharks, but they're much more resistant to desiccation and can wander away from water to look for food and new territory. This is where true endothermy begins cropping up in terrestrial sharks; the largest extant species don't bother with it, but several smaller guys seem to have developed it independently of each other.

The Haye are an iconic megafaunal predator of the so-called Mollusk Era. Lots of mythologies around them I'm sure. It used to be believed that they were the Shark folks' closest living relative, but modern research has found that to be untrue. They're endothermic and can be found even in fairly cold regions, but usually don't stick around for the winter in polar regions.

Mud Hounds are a diverse group of mid-sized, endothermic terrestrial sharks. Pictured is a beloved little digging guy usually known as dorghai. Many species rely on their keen sense of smell and electroreception to track their prey; they get their name from the common behavior of sticking their nose into wet mud to feel for the electric signatures of smaller burrowing prey. Even species that don't make active use of their electroreception often retain the ability. Seems they just haven't gotten around to losing it quite yet, even though electroreception isn't very effective in air. The Shark folk are no exception; some people report being able to "feel" active thunderstorms or faulty electronics. With practice they can actually do fuck all with it, but for most people it's just an occasional vague annoyance.

I didn't draw other examples of the group Shark folk are in, dubbed the walking hounds, because they're the only living member of the group. The reason for the group developing bipedalism isn't known right now. Also, I tend to draw Sharks standing fairly upright, but the most natural standing posture for them is more raptorial. Upright postures are associated with alertness/nervousness, or temporarily trying to take up less space in crowded areas. It becoming a default/preferred posture is seen commonly in "city" sharks used to living in high density areas with smaller species.

Apologies if this is a bit too off-topic, but with iterator puppets being biological like such, how would things like trans surgeries work? Would they be like normal surgeries, how would scars look like, such and such.

idk, the fact that iterators would likely not experience gender dysphoria the same way or even view it the same aside- I think the puppets are flexible enough to really just do whatever you want. It's not like there's a TON of important organs in there, mostly just a lot of neurons, fatty tissue, skin, and vessels. I know I've messed with this topic in the past before with some of my iterator OCs having changed their puppets, and usually they need the help of the benefactors. Otherwise idk

Like, the puppets ARE incredibly customizable, its just not in the minds of 99% of iterators to change from the default they were given. Also scarring is unlikely, the puppets heal themselves way more efficiently.

Jessie “Stormy” Black

So far, they were mostly created for my VBros AU that I'm making, and they are meant to be a polar opposite to Pete White and he met them after all the events in VBros Season 7 and the movie and they have a positive relationship. Jessie is a petty hacker and has a history of tampering with technology and computers but works at a Best Buy and is a skilled coder.

Jessie likes old games from the 70s-90s, Sci-Fi media, and has a bad sweet tooth, and loves a lot of candies or anything sugary. (Especially energy drinks!) And they attended Stuyvesant University around the same time Pete and Rusty attended State University during the events of the flashbacks of ‘Past Tense’. They mostly lived in Brooklyn, NY for most of their life. LOL

At some point had started as a “hero” who was heavily villains for their morals where they were and at some attempted to arch Captain Sunshine (they didn’t see eye to eye with morality) at some point and later on “retired” and decided to become a full villain.

And they happen to have some Guild connections but wasn’t registered because they wanted to “fly solo”. But in the very late 90s and early 2000s they kinda rebranded their moniker, “CIPHER” with themselves being an online blogger where they have conspiracy theories and had dirt on “protagonists” and lots of lore related crap. So far throughout Cipher’s villain career, they were most anonymous and hidden underground in obscurity.

Meanwhile Stormy just became their own character while developing them. And them being an anti-villain is a lot of fun writing too. LOL

They do have a history with hijacking and tampering computers media stations, and tech, but they aren’t associated with the Guild. This character also has massive Screenslaver vibes (and Riddler) but just commits petty vandalism and just likes to troll people. Their arc is them having a balance with their double life and touch fucking grass for once.

After giving the area a quick glance, though, Sakura feels more bemused than annoyed. This village is very small, not even marked on most maps. She planned to only stop here to rest for a few hours before continuing the trip home, but to find a former Sound shinobi here? Odd. Suspicious, even. If this meeting of theirs happened before the war ended, Sakura would've suspected some sort of foul play, perhaps an ambush——but the war is over now. This makes Sakura's ire dissipate a little, just enough to be civil. No point in stirring drama in such a peaceful place anyway, and to be fair, Tayuya didn't attack her yet. Sakura imagines they'd already be exchanging blows otherwise. ❛  And why are you here anyway? Traveling too?  ❜ A careful inquiry, polite enough to not 'sass' her.
