I was unsure whether I'd share this online but I had made it specifically to get signed by Neil Newbon this last weekend!

I was so nervous since the last time I ever went to get an autograph at an expo was over 10 years ago and it was NOT a positive experience :'0 - Even though, before then, I had two good experiences with actors, it takes one burn to keep you away forever.

BUT as it turns out, the rumours are true, Neil is super sweet and kind (AND TALL OML (or i'm just rly short)) - I'm glad I did it! If you get the chance and want to meet him, do it, he's swell.

Also, I told him how when I went to pick up my prints, the girl working the desk had asked me "is this goosetarion?.." and his response was "That's FUCKED" HAh

OH and shoutout to the pair cosplaying as Astarion and Gale we met standing in line who noticed my print - They were so sweet!

This was definitely a trust the process project (especially the wig oml) but I’m so proud of how it turned out 😭

The wig is made out of yarn and it’s the first yarn wig I’ve ever made, and I’ll probably never do it again lmao. I couldn’t figure out how to do the side shave/braids she has which was annoying, but I think it looks good for what it is. It took me three days to make 😭

This dweeb would for sure be the one to bring all the ideas to you. I could see him running up to you, practically shaking from excitement as he takes a deep breath then tells you his thoughts.

“Link and Zelda, hm? That sounds fun but Link is canonically shorter than Zelda sooo…”

If you’re shorter than him, he’s immediately like “HELL YEAH!!! ILL BE THE PRINCESS. IM GONNA WEAR A DRESS!”

If you’re taller than him, he immediately gets flirty. “Oooh~ I can’t wait to see you dressed up like a princess. You’re gonna be so freaking adorbs.”

Honestly he gives zero fucks about gender roles and stuff like that. If he wants to dress as a female character, he will. And he won’t do some gender bent version of it, he’s going full out girly girl.

But he likes dressing as male and other gendered characters too. He just likes to cosplay his fav characters and sometimes his favs are girls. 🤷🏻 whatevs

Will absolutely take you to comicon or any other fun convention. He’d be running around like a kid in a candy store with $100.

Might even get too excited. Like running into people, tripping and falling type excited. You may have to hold his hand or put him on one of those money backpack leash things for kids lmao

Will also beg you like a million times to take pics of him with any cosplayers that he thinks are really cool and well done.

Probably messes up your hair, wig, makeup. Maybe all three. You might have to tell him to chill out cuz he’ll totally try to take you back home for some quality time together right now.

If yall are more into the ‘cosplay for a video and post it online but don’t leave the house’ thing, he’s totally fine with that too.

He wouldn’t care if no one even saw your cosplays but each other bc either way, it’s a lot of fun and he loves the quality time spent with you.

Always asks you to help with the makeup part of any cosplay. I couldn’t see him being very good with makeup so he’s gonna rely on you.

Also he sucks bc you’ll take hours to get into your cosplay, trying to perfect your look and Matt will ruin it all with his big, grabby hands and his soft, slobbery lips within minutes.

But god forbid you wreck his cosplay from being all handsy and kissy, he’ll pout about it for the rest of the day.

Back to the ‘fuck gender roles’ thing…Matt would find you so fucking hot cute in any cosplay, regardless of your gender or the characters’ gender.

If you’re anything in between or non binary or whatever, he doesn’t care. He vibes with you soooo heavy so your looks or your sexuality or your gender identity don’t bother him. If anything, your unique sense of yourself makes him adore you even more.

ALSO ALSO same goes with height, weight, skin color. If you wanna cosplay a character that actually looks nothing like you, is way taller than you or way thinner than you, he’s there to help you get it as accurate as you can

ive never been one to watch or read anime/manga but whats your favorite?

I finally got around to Gurren Lagann, and you have to see this. It's so good, oml. I love Yoko so much, and Simon is such a good character. He has such a good arc. Kamina's also super great and sweet and badass, and as far as guys go he's pretty hot. The Taking of Teppelin also kicked so much ass.

FLCL is also really good!!!!!

...I am constantly on a pendulum that swings between loving movie Adrien's design and absolutely despising it. This cute style with the chubby cheeks works so well for Marinette, but Adrien is not reaping the same benefits. Idk, something about his face when it stays still for too long is very unappealing. I much prefer it when it's exaggeratedly animated.

Also why isn't his suit shiny anymore :((( it's on the guardians watching if they think his cosplaying as a leather touting cat boy is too sensual or something smh ruining it for the rest of us

I did not give a flying fuck about Skull Kid until this moment. I’ve been thoroughly taught the error of my ways. He’s so cute and basically the only mage-ish character I actually like playing. His combos are so GOOD

The goddamn one note ocarina noise every time he attacks is a bit much but I’ve actually found it helps me time my button presses to get combos I want more often (it’s a problem I have a lot with Volga actually, I keep doing the dragon dive bomb when I don’t want to which wastes like ten seconds)

And young link is the cutest little gremlin oml HIS FACE HES SO TINY AND SWEET AND I JUST WANT TO BITE HIM

Also I keep saying “if you keep blocking my attacks I’m gonna tell my dad” and then using the A attack that—you guessed it—summons Dad™️

This mode also makes me use more characters and while I’m always a little miffed that I don’t get to just use sheik and spam Harp Blast™️ at everything, I like a few characters a LOT more than I was expecting to.

Like King Daphnes, man took the phrase “force of nature” to a whole other level. Every time I see “recommended: water” I just giggle to myself knowing I’m gonna rock up with Daphnes and Tetra and just wreck house. Father daughter bonding, murder!

Also I accidentally started vocal stimming “get triforce’d, idiot” after playing too many rounds as Zelda and Tetra

And I rescind my prior designation of Impa as being awful, it’s just that weapon. Her secondary weapon is INCREDIBLE and the special animation is LITERALLY MY FAVORITE IN THE GAME (though Ghirahim’s Elevator of Death is a close second and of course “I’m a boat and now you’re dead” is good too)

Darunia continues to be a little bitch and always lets me down, as do Wizzro and Cia. It’s like their attacks just, do nothing???? I hate it.

Fi is also not my favorite :/ why do her attacks keep sending me AWAY from the enemy I’m trying to hit, I feel like I’m playing on an ice rink

Well that FNAF movie was, um.. not very good. Idk what I was expecting, but I was expecting a little more.

The production value was good overall, the music ruled and the animatronics were really well done. But Vanessa's dialogue and constant 'i am mysterious lady character, dun dun dun' deflections every other sentence made me wanna pull my hair out. Even though there was a reason behind her not intervening/warning Mike and his daughter about the springs, it really didn't come off like that, it just came off like she was an inept cop, like some random lady cosplaying as a cop instead. The movie was total garbage at showing any kind of genuine subtlety or ulterior motives, so everything just came off as the writers not being good at their jobs. The way the camera moved to Afton when he was a career counsellor also screamed 'i'm a villain twirling my moustache' and it was super corny.

And tbh, Josh Hutcherson wasn't on his a-game here lmao. There were scenes where we should have seen some kinda surprise or emotion, but legit ALL he could do was stare like a dead-eyed bass, and I was like cmon man.

Also, still super pissed that they totally RUINED the big payoff with the kids being the ghosts in the trailer, and the movie wasn't any better with revealing it, there was no real surprise or anything. And I'm just thinking, if someone didn't know the franchise, they would've just groaned like, 'i can see this coming a mile away'. Detective Pikachu wasn't that amazing either, but at least people who weren't into Pokemon didn't feel supremely ripped off like they saw the entire movie in the trailer. A lot of people I know didn't see the 'twist' in that movie coming. This one, it basically smacks you over the head with it and says 'enjoy, fool'.

Also, I can't remember which animatronic it was, but the person getting bitten in half was kinda unrealistic. It was way too fluid and smooth! Bitch be trying to get through bones and shit, human bodies come with a lot of resistance. There would be at least a lil bit of that, even for an animatronic with decent bite pressure.

The animatronic eyes didn't bother me as much as I expected them to, which I guess is another plus, but I'm still wondering if it would've been better with the creepy eyes. And some of the shots were good (Afton being dragged back into the closet oml?!), but it doesn't make up for the rest of the movie unfortunately. Except maybe the poor lawyer guy, he was amazing lol.

TLDR, it wasn't good. Probably worth a watch if you can see it for free.

I also love how they tied everything together like how rukkhadevata left the last remaining consciousness of the lord of Amrita in sumeru in a hydro tree that cleans sins and breaking the law counts as a sin and the hydro nation arrests anyone who breaks the law and Amrita was the old archon and like Mondstadt??? also I love how all the allogenes (vision holders) have something in common like how all the anemo vision users have lost someone and the geo users always have a goal to improve themselves and the pyro have a passion and electro have something to protect and etc. etc like oml so well written I swear also like I love how they involve the abyss or fatui in everything like saying how the abyss are the hilichurls and monsters and the fatui are pulling the strings in the background like how they manipulated raiden to start the vision hunt decree I love that also how they have ulterior motives and yk how the gnoses are shaped as chess pieces and in winter nights lazzo they added a chessboard with the chess pieces being replaced by gnosis like woahhhh that’s an amazing concept also LIYUE??
