Steve as a late night radio DJ, with Robin as his producer (because my partner has made me watch so much Frasier lol). He's got the sexy voice and Eddie, frontman of successful metal band Corroded Coffin, still remembers him from Hawkins and, ugh.
But, well, his manager set up the interview and it would cause more of a stir to no-show than it would to turn up and bicker with some washed up former high school bully. It's a different city, a different decade; maybe King Steve won't even remember him.
So Eddie turns up, and he actually beats Steve there. To the point of the show starting and it's just him in the booth, chatting awkwardly with Robin to fill the air. It gets less awkward the more they talk, idly catching up on old small town bullshit and what it's like to go from isolated baby queers ("I thought I was totally alone!" "Really? You didn't clock the black bandana hanging out of my pocket for five of my six years in high school?" "Sorry old timer, I was still in middle school for part of that." "Oh fuck off, Ms. 'I went to Sarah Lawrence and all I got was this awesome girlfriend.'" "Sorry Eddie, we can't all be super late bloomers like you.") to Actually Successful And Functioning Adults. (She's kind enough not to mention his single but unfortunately well known brush with rehab, other than to congratulate him on his seven year chip.)
And then Steve bursts in, huffing and puffing and diving for the headphones and mic to apologize to both them and the audience for being late. He doesn't even try to offer an excuse until Robin asks, "Uh, Steve? Want to share with us why your arm's in a sling and one of your eyebrows looks like it got flambéd right off your face?"
Which turns into a very put-upon but entertaining retelling of Dustin Henderson ("Oh damn, Henderson! I fell outta touch with him ages ago. How is that little shit?" "Married. He didn't end up converting to Mormonism, but they still have enough kids to make up half a basketball team." "Is that... a lot?" "Six, Munson. They have six kids." "Which is funny, because he made soooo much fun of Steve for wanting that many back in the day." "Yeah. Showed him." "Fuck, my condolences to his wife if they all inherited his big head. You gotta give me his number after this. Or—DUSTIN, if you're listening to your babysitter's show, come to my next concert and there'll be two backstage passes with your name on it! Or, well, that embarrassing nickname your radio girlfriend used to call you, since I think I've blurted out your full government name by now." "That girlfriend is actually his wife now." "No shit?! Wow, I can't believe one of my little lost sheepies has managed to keep the same girl for over a decade. Is she really hotter than Phoebe Cates?" "Oh, she is smokin." "Robin, don't make it weird." "Oh it's okay, she already knows. I told her.") ... A very put-upon but entertaining retelling of Dustin Henderson coming over to discuss plans for Ma Henderson's birthday, and bringing a cherries jubilee that Suzie had made so he could literally demonstrate the flambé presentation ("Listeners, I swear I did not know, when I asked Steve about his flambéd eyebrow, that it was a literal flambé accident. Eddie, can you confirm?" "I can confirm, Robin. We received no heads-up calls or messages from Steve before or during the show. It was serendipitous irony, 100% pure.") but poured waaaaay too much brandy on, and then Steve tripped in his mad dash for the fire extinguisher ("He was no help at all, just stopped dropped and rolled right there in the middle of the damn kitchen." "How are his eyebrows?" "Ugh, I have more of them than he does right now but at least his match. Don't worry everyone, he's fine. No nerds were injured in the course of this improv slapstick comedy routine that is my life. I swear to god, I need a girlfriend or a boyfriend or someone reasonable to hang out with besides all you weirdos." "Aw, you love us." "Yeah Stevie, what would you do without your loving nerd squad?" "Yeah, yeah... But don't try to leave yourself out of this Munson, as far as I'm concerned you're still the king of all nerds. And if you're reconnecting with Dustin, you're stuck with us too.") and had to stop by urgent care on the way to work.
Throughout all of this, Eddie is not twirling a lock of hair around one finger... but only because it's tied haphazardly back to keep it out of his face for the day. Steve is different from the guy he remembers strutting the halls of Hawkins High. Still all freckles and hair and charismatic grin, but he carries himself differently. More solidly built in his mid-thirties than his late teens, with a layer of softness that suits him. Calmer and settled, with the kind of confidence that comes with growing up. And the girlfriend or boyfriend thing? Holy shit. Holy shit. King Steve? Who knew? But, well, it explains why Steve and Robin are so close, Eddie guesses.
The Steve Harrington that Eddie had known back in the day hadn't exactly been the worst of the bullies, but he'd been friends with them, and they had spouted plenty of homophobic shit. And Steve had been looking right at him as he'd said it, like he's aware that Eddie is terminally single and maybe, just maybe, there was a flicker of a question in his eyes.
Eddie has been publicly out for a while now, and the thing is... Steve is definitely his type. So he leans into it a little, testing the waters. And Steve responds to it like a sunflower greeting the sunrise.
By the end of the show Robin is slapping post-its on the glass partition that read "Get his number dingus" and "Get a room" and Don't make that face at me, yes I do know that he can see these too and I don't care, GET IT or I will recruit Dusty-dun to my cause" and "To clarify, the cause is getting you laid. Eddie, take note, he's allergic to latex."
Permanent tag list (ask to be added, but since I have gotten an influx of new followers lately just know that I write a lot of weight gain kink so like... just be aware): @hotluncheddie @lawrencebshoggoth @sofadofax @tangerinesteve

waking enhypen up by kissing them in the middle of the night
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
not the long ass title
pairing- enhypen ot7 (separate) x gf reader
warnings- kissing, cuddling, poor jungwon just wants to sleep, heeseung himself (fluffily [?] sitting on his lap). swearing lmk what i missed
really short because it was almost midnight where i live
︵‿︵‿୨♡ heeseung ♡୧‿︵‿︵
he rubs his eyes and just honestly stares at you while you do whatever you want.
''y/n~ why'd u wake me up"
"because i just wanted a kiss"
he sat up and checked his phone.
1:34 am
he gave you your kiss
he leaned back against the headboard and pulled you onto his lap to hold you and peck your scalp lightly
︵‿︵‿୨♡ jay ♡୧‿︵‿︵
"baby, are you okay"
he's genuinely worried about you because this wasn't normal
"yeah, i just wanted a kiss"
he pulls you to his chest and kisses you. he holds it there for a few seconds and then pulls away only to peck you lips again
its literally 12:30 am right now and hes legit shocked
like, why are you interrupting hid beauty sleep?
he holds you to his chest and keeps you in his warm strong arms all night
︵‿︵‿୨♡ jake ♡୧‿︵‿︵
god- dont get me started
it is 2 am and when e sees you kissing his face
hes blushing. like crazy. im serious. its adorable
hes just staring at you with his puppy eyes and just smiles uncontrollably.
"what are you doing to me"
"i'm just kissing you, but since you wanted to be a bitch, i'm going to sleep"
''no baby!! come back!!! i liked it!!''
yeah, he's not going to let you go back to sleep
︵‿︵‿୨♡ sunghoon ♡୧‿︵‿︵
dont do it in the first place
that honestly depends on his mood
its was only 11:30 so it wasn't that late. i mean, for a person who is an old soul living in a mans body that is way too late to be awake
if he was in a bad mood, he wouldn't get mad but he wouldn't be exactly happy
"y/n, it's eleven thirty, why are you still awake?"
"i just wanted to kiss you"
"kiss me tomorrow
if he were in a good mood, he'd let you do whatever you want
︵‿︵‿୨♡ sunoo ♡୧‿︵‿︵
don't try and convince me that this baby isn't going to kiss you back
like, he wakes up and sees your beautiful face at two in thr fucking morning, kissing him.
wow, what did he do to deserve you
"baby, i love you and all but, why are you awake? its 2 am"
"i just wanted to kiss you"
hes going to kiss you
let him, he will kiss you nose, cheeks, forehead, chin, lips, any exposed skin from your shoulders up he will at least peck
︵‿︵‿୨♡ jungwon ♡୧‿︵‿︵
#justice for jungwon
its 3 am
he'd just groan and once you got the hint that he was exhausted you'd stop
only for him to bring you to his chest and out his nose in the crook of your neck
obv he likes it but hes the leader. he has 6 kids to feed, send to school, put clothes on their back, he cleans their rooms, he pays for them, hes their dad
#justice for jungwon pt2
︵‿︵‿୨♡ niki ♡୧‿︵‿︵
ok, he'd do the exact same as heeseung.
change my mind. i dare you
"whats up with you? its 4 am"
"damn, okay, i was trying to show you my love and shower you with affection and show you how much i love you and-"
you were cut off by his beautiful pink plump lips on yours
he smiled mid kiss and forced you head onto his chest (nicely)
just lay on top of him and he's happy, sleep touching him, even holding hands while sleeping.
his fluffy hair occasionally tickling you neck because did i mention that he would kiss the part where your shoulder and neck connected?
i dont think so
kiss him

Lately, I've been thinking about the effect of real-world time on perception of media. Or, wait, let me start from the beginning.
When I was 11, I read the book Ender's Game for some school assignment or another. I don't remember ever considering Ender a relatable character, but certainly my understanding of the events was shaped by being of an age to see the protagonist not so much as a young child but as someone of my peer group, someone who could have been slotted amongst my classmates without anybody batting an eye.
Over a decade later, I read the sequel, Speaker for the Dead; it takes place many years later, when Ender is in his thirties, and my feelings about the in-universe time skip were undeniably shaped by the real life time gap between my reading of the novels. Reading the first book back then and then the second book now created a feeling where it's almost like, I'm browsing the facebook page of someone I had known in middle school but lost contact with, checking up on how they're doing today. The real-time factor caused me to perceive it less like a timeskip, and more like a reunion - the feelings were closer to "oh wow, that's my boy! I haven't seen him in years! Wonder what he's up to?" Which in turn gave me a better position to appreciate the parts of the narrative about him struggling to find a place in his adulthood than I would have been had I perceived it more strictly as a quick skip from 11 to 20 to 36.
While musing about this, I considered a VN I played a few years back, which took place over three in-game days - except at the end of one in-game day, the game would lock you out from progressing for 24 hours real time. So that as the in-game investigator protagonist was ruminating on the information that had been discovered that day, the player would be forced to do the same. In this example, by forcing the player to experience the same timeframe as the in-game characters, the sense of it being an in-depth and extensive investigation increases, even though without the forced pauses the game would be short enough to blow through in a handful of hours real-time.
Which brings to mind how time effects things in long-running serial works. It's well known that an audience which watches an episode or reads a chapter week by week has a very different experience than one binging through whole seasons or volumes at a time, but I wonder if the real time relative to the in-universe time makes that effect stand out more? Fight scenes, for instance, have been known to take up several chapters in certain manga or webnovels. What does it do to the reader's perception, if from their point a view a fight takes a whole month, while for the characters they read about it's only been a couple hours? Readers might feel that the situation is more stressful, since the pressure of the fight has been ongoing for a long time for them, while in-universe it was a rough afternoon but no more than that. Contrastingly, when a series skips ahead or otherwise has long periods of time for characters that feel short for readers, it can feel like no time has passed and everything is still the same, unless the author really stresses the differences in world-state that occurred offscreen. Because the reader hasn't changed at all.
No conclusion here exactly, I just think it's interesting how often an audience's response to a work, the emotions felt, are more closely tied to their real-life timescale, something almost completely out of the author's control, as opposed to in-universe time, which can be intentionally shifted or played with for the sake of the narrative.

Secrets of Spring
Tumblr media
Summary: Studying is hard. Especially when your study buddy won't stop talking about Bucky Barnes.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x reader
college au | athlete bucky
_____
“-and then I was like ‘oh my god Bucky, you are like, so funny’ and then he was like-”
You sighed loudly as Kayla continued blabbing, hoping your study partner would get the hint and stop reiterating her 3-second-long interaction with James Buchanan Barnes, the school’s star quarterback and flirt.
“And then my friend Riya was like ‘oh my god Kay Kay, he’s literally flirting with you-”
“That’s great, Kayla, but could we back to the flashcards by any chance-”
“He’s just so goddamn hot!” She squealed as she brandished the stack of notecards around in the air, earning glares directed at both of you from a couple other studious students occupying the library’s tables.
You sunk down in your seat, pretending not to know the lululemon-clad girl in front of you who was basically buzzing with excitement. Of course, studying with Kayla would not have been your first choice, and you definitely weren’t her top pick either, but you two were each others’ only hope, considering the fact that the rest of the kids in your anatomy class were always either high, drunk, or both.
“It should be illegal to look that good,” she said as she looked off into the distance with glassy eyes and fanned herself. Her eyes lit up as she turned her eyes back to you and straightened up in her seat. “And guess what?”
You didn’t have time to guess before Kayla continued rambling on.
“My friend, Lynn, saw him at the gym shirtless the other day and took a picture,” She gushed as she pulled out her phone. “Wait, lemme show you. He looked so sweaty and delicious.”
You grimaced, reaching over to turn her phone off in the middle of her search. “I’m good, thanks.”
“Your loss.” Kayla snapped her gum obnoxiously before her eyes lit up again. “Oh, and guess what?”
You just grumbled in response.
“So you know how my friend’s brother is on the football team with Bucky, right?”
You had no idea who this friend was, much less who her brother was, but you nodded along with Kayla as you felt the headache creeping in.
“She told me that when he came over to her house during spring break to hang out with her brother, he snuck into her room and they both spent the entire night together.” Kayla’s eyes sparkled with a mix of envy and excitement. “In the room right next to her parents.”
You couldn’t stop the words that vomited from your mouth. “Bucky was at his parents’ house up in Brooklyn with Steve for the entirety of the break, Kayla.”
“Oh.” Kayla’s eyebrows furrowed, and you were glad she was more focused on the discrepancy in her friend’s story rather than your sudden burst of knowledge.
“Sorry,” you cleared your throat awkwardly. “I think your friend lied to you.”
“Don’t be sorry,” Kayla waved her hand with a blinding smile. “This is a good thing!”
You arched an eyebrow at her.
“I won’t be breaking girl code by dating Bucky now, since my friend never actually had anything with him!”
“Oh . . . okay?” Not like that would’ve stopped you anyways.
Her phone pinged, and she looked at it with a smile, standing up to collect her stuff (which was just her Starbucks drink and a singular highlighter). “Alright, I gotta head back to my apartment and get ready for my date tonight.”
“Oh?” Surely it couldn’t be with Bucky. Right?
"Wow, a date?" you replied, trying to sound nonchalant even as your curiosity piqued. "With who?"
Kayla grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "With this guy I met at the gym last week. He's super cute and really into fitness, just like me!"
That was exactly what you were expecting her to say, but a weight was lifted off of your shoulders anyways.
“Have fun.” You smiled in relief.
“Thanks, babes.” She blew you a kiss. “This study sesh was so great. I learned a ton.”
As she sashayed away, you decided not to bring up the fact that she got through a grand total of exactly three flashcards.
With the shake of your head, you gathered your own belongings and headed out the library as quietly as possible, almost as if you were trying to compensate for the ruckus that Kayla had left behind.
As the cool spring wind breezed through your hair and birds chirped in the cherry blossom trees above you, your phone vibrated continuously in your pocket.
You struggled as you fished out the phone, mentally cursing out all the textbooks you decided to checkout. However, the slight frown on your face was replaced with a grin pulling at the corner of your lips as you brought your phone to your ear.
“Hey, baby.” The familiar low of his voice brought a chill up your spine. And it wasn’t from the wind.
“What do you want, Barnes.” You were certain he could hear the goofy smile on your face.
“Aw, you sound congested, doll.” He coddled you through the phone as you rolled your eyes. “Are you sick? Allergies?”
“I’m sick of hearing about you all day.” You emphasized with a smirk, after taking a moment to genuinely sneeze. Damn pollen.
“Well, can you really blame ‘em for talking about the most charming guy in town?” He laughed on his end of the line.
“Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that, Barnes.”
“What was dear Kayla telling you this time?”
“Just the usual. Something about you being shirtless and glistening in sweat at the gym.”
“Damn. I should start charging her for all the conversation material she’s getting out of me.”
You snorted, but little vines of jealousy stretched around your heart. “You should run your own little side hustle. You’d make thousands.”
“I like the sound of that. Maybe I’ll throw in some autographed headshots as well.”
“I can already picture the line of people stretched around the block.”
Bucky chuckled on the other end of the line, his laughter warm. "Hey, I'll have you know, I've got quite the fan club," he teased, his voice playful.
You couldn't help but smile, despite yourself. "Yeah, well, they clearly don't know how insufferable you are," you replied, your tone teasing.
There was a brief pause before Bucky spoke again, his tone turning more serious. "Hey, I miss you," he confessed softly, and you could hear the sincerity in his voice.
His words tugged at your heartstring. “I miss you too, Buck.”
He seemed to immediately notice the softening of your voice. “You got anywhere to be tonight? I’ll come by later with some pizza.”
“What-” You almost tripped over a crack in the sidewalk. “Barnes, are you crazy?”
“What?” You could imagine his innocent expression through the phone. “Am I not allowed to visit my girlfriend?”
Bucky visiting you wasn’t the problem. The problem was that you lived right between Faith Robinson and McKenzie Gonzalez, the biggest gossipers on campus, not to mention the nosiest neighbors. When one of them would inevitably see Bucky strut down the hall to your door in his tight henley with a box of pizza, the whole student body would hear the news before you could even open the door and let him in.
And having the entire school know about your relationship was the exact opposite of what Bucky wanted.
Right?
“Don’t be a smartass. You know exactly who I live by.”
“I don’t give a damn about who sees us anymore, baby. I just need to see you.”
You took a moment to process his words. You could imagine him holding his breath on his end of the line. “Oh.”
Really? The moment you’ve been secretly hoping for is here, and all you can say is ‘oh’?
“‘Oh’ in a bad way or ‘oh’ in a good way?” Bucky chuckled nervously.
The vines turned into butterflies and fluttered in your chest as you giggled. “‘Oh’ in a . . . surprised way, I guess,” you replied finally. “Yes. Yes, I would love for you to come over.”
Bucky breathed out into a cheeky grin. “Okay.”
“Okay.”
Neither of you were good with words, but you didn’t need them. You understood each other perfectly.

Hazel Callahan x reader
Tumblr media
You stare across the field, looking up into the bleachers where Hazel sat, legs sprawled out. She was in the middle of a conversation with Pj and Josie, and even though she wasn’t doing anything particularly special, you couldn’t help but gush at how endearing she looked.
You were so in love with her, it was nauseating.
You’re brought back to focus, when you suddenly feel eyes on you, realizing you’ve been staring at Hazel this whole time. She’s staring right back at you now, and you can’t help but smile. A blush coats your cheeks, as you raise a hand up and send her a small wave.
“Who are you looking at?” Pj asks Hazel, before turning to the field, where she sees you with the rest of the cheerleaders. “Yeah, that’s never gonna happen Hazel.”
“Just like you and Brittany are never gonna happen?” Hazel retorts back while rolling her pretty blue eyes.
Hazel already thought you were way out of her league, no matter how confident she was with herself, she still didn’t believe she was good enough for you. You were the sun in her sky and you didn’t even know it.
“Holy shit! Wait- you have to talk to her.” Pj exclaims to Hazel, waving her hands frantically. “I talk to her all the time, Pj. We’re friends.”
“No, talk to her about joining the fight club. Then we can convince her to bring Brittany and Isabel, teach them to defend themselves, and next thing you know we’re making out with cheerleaders.” She pauses looking between Hazel and Josie for any sign of support.
“Have you ever thought that, i don’t know, maybe some people want more than sex? I actually have feelings for Isabel, and whether Hazel wants to admit it, she has actual feelings for Y/n.” Hazel looks over at Josie with a glare, knowing she was right about not wanting to admit her feelings. Because she knew if she did, there was a big chance of being rejected.
“Blah blah blah, you’re in love. Whatever. Come on Hazel, we’re like kind of your only friends. Do this for us?”
Hazel sat in silence for a moment, looking between you and Pj. She knew there was a big chance of this plan failing, and she would end up looking like an even bigger loser than she already was. But she also just really wanted any excuse to be close to you.
“Fine. I’ll do it!”
——
“Y/n, hey! Wait up.” When you hear your name being called from down the hallway, you immediately turn, meeting eyes with Hazel. “Hi Hazel.” You can feel the blush creep up onto your cheeks, as you send her a shy smile. For a moment, all Hazel can do is stare with her mouth slightly agape. Oh wow, she is too cute. Hazel thought to herself, before clearing her throat.
“So, uh, me, Pj, and Josie were talking and have decided to start a fight club.” Her words were a bit rushed and she could tell by the slight tilt of your head and arched brow, you were completely confused. “It’s really more of a way to help with the lack of female solidarity here at school. Teach girls how to defend themselves better.”
“Oh! That sounds really cool Hazel.” “Would you wanna maybe join? Maybe you could get some of your friends to join too!” You smile at that and nod your head yes. “I’d love to! I’ll bring Britt and Isabel too, they’d totally be into it.”
“Cool, so if you want, I could meet you at your locker and we could walk to the gym together?”
“Yeah, that would be really nice.” You back away slowly, before turning to head to your next class. If you would have looked back, you would have seen the lovesick smile Hazel wore.
——
Since then, you and Hazel have grown a lot closer. Not really sure what to call your situation though. Neither of you have made the move and asked the other out officially, but you definitely weren’t just friends. I mean, you don’t sit on the laps of your other friends any time you’re together. Or find yourself making out with them, when alone.
Point is, you were definitely in love with each other, just too scared to admit it.
And now, as you sit beside Hazel, her hand placed on your thigh, surrounded by the other girls. You can’t help but be even more scared that, with the news of the club ending, so would the relationship you’ve built with Hazel.
“Why do you look so sad, sweetheart?” You look up at Hazel when she breaks you from your worrying thoughts.
“I just don’t want this to end.”
“I’m sure everyone will still hangout. Just because the club is ending doesn’t mean we have to ignore each other.” Hazels words don’t do much reassuring for you.
“Haze, that’s not what I meant. I don’t want to lose y-“ You were so close to admitting it, but Pj as usual had to ruin it.
“Guys! Stop jumping to conclusions with the goodbyes.” You couldn’t help but to roll your eyes at her. “Pj, don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened.” Annie tries to be optimistic, but Pj isn’t having it. “Alright, can we just all calm the fuck down, please? The club isn’t even over yet.”
“No matter what this club has brought me so much. I feel so much more powerful, and, um, protected.” “Me too.” Josie agrees with Isabel, sending her a reassuring smile.
“Great.” Pj huffs out, and you watch Hazel stand up, not really sure what’s happening. “Oh my god, Pj! I’m sorry you didn’t really get what you wanted out of this club, but I think most of us did.” Your eyes slightly widen at the raise of Hazels voice, never hearing her this upset.
“Good for fucking you Hazel. I’m glad you finally wrote one fucking email. Accomplished a lot.” “I did, actually. I practically ran this club for you and Josie.” And that was true.
Hazel dedicated almost all of her free time to this club. A club that meant more to her than it did to Pj. “Okay, let’s calm down, maybe.”
“You really think that you’re the reason we have this club?”
“The reason? No, but I can tell everyone that if you want.” Hazel looks around at everyone, then back to Pj.
What exactly did she mean by that?
“You’re so ungrateful, Hazel. You’re lucky we even let you be a part of this club.” “Pj, you’re a liar.” At that you stand up and grab Hazels hand. “Hey, why don’t you take a walk? Try to calm down a little, clear your head.”
“Yeah well, you can’t even get the girl you’ve been dreaming of fucking to actually fuck you, so.” You immediately look up at Hazel, hearing the harsh admittance. “Leave her out of this Pj.”
“Why? Don’t want her realizing how much of a loser you truly are? You don’t even have any friends.” And that just made your blood boil, Hazel had so many friends.
You watch as Hazel grabs her bag and storms down the stairs and then out the gym. “She’s so fucking drama-“ Pjs words are cut off by your fist connecting to her nose. Sending the girl to her back on the floor. “Talk to her like that again, and it’s gonna be a lot worse next time.” You turn on your heel after that and march out in search of Hazel.
You soon find her looking out at the football field from the top of the bleachers, tears slowly streaming down her face. “Hey, want some company?” You ask softly. She sadly smiles at you and reaches out for your hand, before pulling you down into her lap. Her chin rests on your shoulder, and you can feel her relax a little.
It’s quiet for a little bit. Sounds of the wind blowing breaking it every now and then, but for the most part quiet. Until Hazel breaks it.
“I love you.” It was so softly spoken, you almost missed it. Almost.
“I love you too, Hazel.” You kiss her cheek and watch as she looks at you with confusion on her pretty face. “Wait, what?”
And you laugh. You laugh because how could she not know you felt the same way. She was the moon in your night, always shining bright no matter how dark it was outside.
“Is it so hard to believe that I love you back?”
“Kinda.” She shrugs her shoulders, a shy smile on her face.
“Hazel, I’ve liked you for the longest time. Way before the club started. I thought I was so obvious.”
“I just thought you were super nice all the time.” You both laugh at this. You were two idiots in love with each other and didn’t even know it. “So, does this mean I can call you my girlfriend?” She asks you hopefully. “Only if I can call you mine.” Hazel looks at you for a few seconds before taking your chin and pulling you closer.
“Deal.” She mumbles against your lips.
When you pull away, you sit in silence just trying to catch your breath. Finally at peace with your worried thoughts from earlier in the gym.
“Oh shit!” Your sudden outburst scares Hazel. “What baby?”
“I totally broke Pjs nose before chasing after you.” Your now girlfriend stares at you with wide eyes, before bursting into a fit of giggles, causing you to start laughing too.
“She deserved it.”

Hello! Sorry I just had a random idea that I wanted to request before I forget. I was wondering if you could maybe do a Dogday x wolf reader maybe? Sorry if my request is confusing cause I don't request things often and don't want to bother you! But what if wolf reader was like just add or new so the smiling critters hadn't met them yet but heard of them. I was thinking kinda if Dogday was taking care of the kids but realized two or one of them was missing from the group and went to go find them only to find them playing with wolf reader which is how Dogday meets wolf read? Idk you can do what you want, I'm very sorry that my request is probably confusing :')
“wow, what were you?”
Relationship(s): Dogday x wolf!reader
Warning(s): fluff
Dogday was absolutely losing his shit. three of the kids were missing. how did they manage to wander off between the playground and the school? he looked everywhere! he even retraced his steps, which he didn’t do often since he was already such a good tracker.
Dogday was breathing heavily before one of the kids pulled on his shirt and gave him a piece of the missing kids shirt. Dogday smiled at the child and sniffed the shirt, following the scent all the way to the back of the new critter’s house. he looked in her backyard questioningly, before his eyes widened.
“wow.. what were you?”
there, sitting in the grass, was you and the three other kids, having a picnic. he watched for a moment, looking over your sharp canines , your tail, your really really soft looking fur. he soon came to his senses and came over to you all. the kids ran and gave him a big hug as you sat still, a small smile on your face - even though you were nervous.
Dogday smiles and rushed them back to picky before he turned to you. “so you must be Y/N? it’s so great to finally meet you.” you nodded, anxiously and smiled. “y-yeah, that would be me! your Dogday, yes?” he nodded and took your hand in his, bringing to the rest of the crew.
that was 7 months ago. you had just been informed about the Hour Of Joy. you had so many questions but you decided to keep it to yourself. besides it’s called “The Hour Of Joy” can’t be that bad right? and at that, it’s still light years away. you and Dogday had gotten closer but you weren’t making any real progress with the others.
you’d come to Dogdays home in the middle of the night and he’d already be up and waiting for you because you both could smell one another before you even saw eachother. he’d let you in and you guys would lay in the bed and watch a movie together, hinmfalling asleep, snoring on your head and you, sitting there, being lucky you guys even met.
oh, how you loved him.
A/N: not a lot of inspo hit me for this one, mybad 😭

2. Courage
(on ao3 here)
"Aunt Kara! I forgot, I have something to give you!" Esme is a blur as she races to her bedroom, curls streaming behind her. She returns with a piece of paper held in her hand. Kara pulls the girl into her lap as she sits on the floor and arranges the paper in her hands in front of them.
Kara has the absolute pleasure of watching Esme while her moms take a much-needed long weekend away together. ("I can't remember the last time I had sex with my wife," Alex had said when she asked Kara if she could stay with Esme for the weekend. "ALEX! I did not need to know that," Kara exclaimed, her head buried in her hands.) She had plenty of plans laid out for the weekend with her adorable niece, including Disney movie marathons in the blanket fort they had built. Currently, they're waiting for Aunt Lena to arrive from work before diving into Lilo and Stitch with lots of popcorn and chocolate.
"Wow, thanks Esme! Can you tell me about it?" Kara regards the drawing. In the middle of the page, in broad, thick crayon strokes, is obviously Kara, but she's not quite sure what's going on in the rest of the illustration.
Esme grabs Kara's hand with her smaller one. "The word of the week at school was 'courage.' I drew you for it!" Kara smiles and places a kiss on her niece's cheek.
"Aw, that's really sweet of you, bug!" Kara scans the illustration again, trying to piece together the scene, but she's still stumped. She sees herself in the center of the page, a stick figure with blonde hair in a green dress. To the left is a gray blob she's not really sure about, and to the right are three more stick people. "You didn't draw me in my supersuit, though."
"You don't have it yet, silly," Esme states as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. "You're not old enough to be a superhero yet." That's the excuse Alex had been giving to Esme for the past few months when she insisted she was ready to join the ranks of the family business. Apparently, according to Alex, the proper age to join the rest of the superhero family was 35. Kara wasn't even technically that old yet, but it would probably take Esme another couple of years to figure that out.
Kara takes another critical look at the illustration, realization dawning on her. Softly, she asks, "Esme, is that my pod?" Esme nods her head vigorously, curls bobbing.
"Yeah, the day you landed on Earth. And there's Grandma, Grandpa, and Mama!" Kara traces the three stick figures representing Eliza, Jeremiah, and Alex with her fingertips, feeling the waxy crayon strokes and swallowing the lump in her throat she hadn't realized had formed.
"What made you decide to draw this?" Kara manages to choke out. It had only been recently that Kara had shared her past with Esme, leaving certain parts out that were perhaps too heavy for a six-year-old. But Esme understood most of it, maybe better than most young children would.
"You left your home and came to Earth to take care of Kal. It was very brave of you," Esme says matter-of-factly, squirming to spin around in Kara's lap and wrap her arms around Kara's neck.
It always surprises Kara how insightful Esme could be, even though she hasn't been on Earth for that long and has known all of them for even less time. Perhaps it was just the way that Esme was, or perhaps it was because she was always observing every new thing, trying to soak in as much of her new life as possible.
Her heart contracts painfully with the implication of Esme's words. The pain of Kara losing her planet and everything she knew may have faded over time, but it still left scars. Scars, she knew, that Esme shared with her, at a much younger age than even Kara experienced.
Kara brings her hands up to Esme's back, giving her a quick squeeze before letting go. "Do you feel brave that you came to Earth, too?" Kara asks, looking into her niece's warm hazel eyes.
Esme sighs. "I guess. I don't remember much from before." Kara nods, rubbing Esme's back comfortingly.
"That's understandable, honey." Kara softly grabs Esme's chin and lifts it, so Esme is looking right at Kara. "If you ever want to talk about it, I'm here to listen, okay? I understand."
Esme gives her a small, shy half smile, but the moment is interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Aunt Lena!" Esme scrambles from Kara's lap under the blanket fort and runs to the door to let her other beloved aunt in.
Later that night, Esme is asleep on the floor in the blanket fort, cuddled in her favorite blanket with her Lovey clasped tightly in her arms. Meet the Robinsons plays softly in the background, the light from the TV flickering across the girl's face as her eyelids flutter.
Kara is deep in thought, watching her niece take slow, steady breaths in and out. Sometimes, even Kara forgets the trauma the young girl must have gone through in her short life. Leaving her home, losing her family, getting put in a system that wasn't designed to help human children let alone alien ones. Esme wears it well — always enthusiastic and bright and precocious.
But Kara knows better, should know better. She does the same thing: putting up an exterior of cheer and warmth to hide the shadowy depths beneath. Just like Kara, Esme had found a wonderful family, and she knows that Esme knows how much she is loved. For Kara, that still doesn't change the pain of all that she experienced before, and it was likely the same for Esme. Kara knows that Esme has her moms to talk to, but she's also glad that if Esme did have to go through everything she had gone through, that Kara could be there for her, could understand in a way that Alex and Kelly might not be able to.
Kara feels a hand grab hers. "Hey," Lena whispers. "You seem lost in thought."
Kara tears her eyes away from Esme's sleeping form and looks at Lena. Her brows are furrowed, gazing concernedly at Kara as she softly rubs Kara's hand with her thumb.
"Just thinking about Esme, about her past." Kara whispers back with a sigh. She rummages around in the blankets until she unearths the drawing Esme had shown her earlier. "Esme drew this for me. It's the day I landed on Earth."
Lena scoots closer to Kara and wraps an arm around her, placing her chin on Kara's shoulder to look at the drawing. She studies it as she strokes Kara's arm. "You told Esme about that recently, right?" Lena asks.
"Yeah. Parts of it, at least." Kara cuddles into Lena's warm embrace. "It just reminded me of everything Esme's been through, too. That it's important to recognize and leave space for her past, too."
Lena nods. In the months since their reconciliation, Kara and Lena had many late night talks about both of their pasts and the trauma they still brought to daily life. Though Lena hadn't come from a dying planet, she could relate to the loss and isolation at a young age, and they both found that sharing their pasts with each other brought them to a better understanding of each other.
"I know it must have been hard for you, Kara, to come to Earth. You didn't have anyone to look up to who understood what you were going through." Kara's heart squeezes painfully again, thinking about the loneliness she felt when she first arrived in Midvale. No one knew from the outside what she had gone through on Krypton, what she went throughon Earth as she struggled to adjust to new customs and norms. No one who truly understood the loss and the isolation. "But Esme does have that. She has you. And she knows you're there for her."
Kara's lip quivers slightly, a tear rolling down her cheek. She and Lena had been through a lot, too, but after everything, Kara is so relieved and thankful that Lena is able to see her whole self — the good, the bad, and the messy — and still wants to sit beside her.
Kara closes her eyes and exhales. "Ah. Sorry. I didn't mean to bring the mood down during our super awesome aunties' weekend with Esme. She just…surprised me."
Lena places a soft kiss on Kara's cheek, wiping away the tear streak. "Hey, don't apologize. You said it's important to recognize and leave space for Esme's feelings. You deserve the same space, too." Lena wraps her arms around Kara tighter. "I'm here for you."
Kara grabs Lena's hand and squeezes. "Thank you, Lena. I'm glad we both have you."

Arajin Tomoshibi/f!Reader/Marito Jin
Summary: A misunderstanding leads Arajin to realizing he's not quite over his crush on you; it's even harder ignoring his own feelings when you also manage to peak his volatile boyfriend's interest. A/N: This takes place in a AU without magic and honki people. Suggestive language, but no smut: part 2 coming soon! Enjoy! wc: 2.3k
“Let Arajin go!”
Marito felt something smack the back of his head, right dead center of his bun; he slowly turns enough to see you holding a ladle high above your head. You flinched, but held the utensil higher. Arajin shrugged off Marito’s arm; his soul might have ascended from his body, seeing you standing in the middle of the street.
“What are you doing?!”
“It’s okay; you start running, I’ll hold this jerk off!” Your knees shake, threatening to buckle under you at the glare Marito is casting your way. “Run!”
“Wa-wait! It’s not what you think!” Arajin sputters, hands raised as he gets between you and Marito. “What are you even doing here? Mom said you were on serving duty today; just go back to the restaurant-”
“Ara-teen, do you know this little beast?” Marito’s lips form a slow, cold smile. “That must be it; otherwise, I sure hope she has a good reason for attacking me so rudely on our date.”
“Date?” You blink, lowering the ladle to your chest. “Arajin, you…know this guy? So, he’s not bullying you?”
About ten minutes prior, you, a server at the Chu Chu Chinese Restaurant, had been tossing a couple of trash bags out in the dumpster when your eyes spied Arajin walking past with someone you didn’t know. The taller boy’s arm was slung over Arajin’s shoulders and he was talking animatedly, but your immediate assumption was that this stranger was shaking down Arajin for money or favors. You didn’t know at the time Marito Jin was in fact a gang leader, but currently you’re apologizing profusely for your “attack”; Arajin and Marito sat across from each other at an empty table as you explained to them what was going through your mind.
“I feel so dumb.” You bow your head in Marito’s direction specifically. “I really am sorry, I jumped to conclusions; I’ve been worried about Arajin having a tough time at school and I guess…I assumed the worst. I’m so sorry, Jin-san.”
“I’ll let it go this time.” Marito says coolly, barely glancing your way. “I wouldn’t normally let you live after such an offense, but for Ara-teen’s sake, I’ll excuse your rudeness.”
Arajin gulped: there’s no way he can tell you Marito is actually not only a juvenile delinquent but a dangerous psycho. No, it’s better you don’t get involved in any of this; Arajin’s known you most of his life. His mother and yours had been friends forever and when your mother passed, you had been all but adopted. You made ends meet working at Chu Chu; you were earnest and hard working but something of a worry wart, at least when it came to Arajin.
“You really don’t have to worry about me,” Arajin tries to sound casual and breezy as you set down two cups of hot tea. “Marito might seem scary but he is a…well, he’s very…he would never, uh…”
Okay, maybe it’s dishonest to try and tell you Marito is a “good” person but Arajin really doesn’t want you to be concerned; if anything, he knows Marito is going to be the first person to throw down on his behalf should anyone even try to hurt him. Now, whether or not Marito will be inflicting any of that pain himself, that’s something Arajin can’t quite say for sure.
“Is your head okay?” You look around Marito’s head; you lightly touch the spot you made contact with. “I can get you some ice.”
“Wow, you are wound up tight.” Marito slaps your hand away, but it’s more of a light swat than anything. “Ara-teen, tell her to calm down and bring us food; it’s bad enough our date got interrupted, I’m starving.” he whined as you left to fetch them some appetizers. “Also, you didn’t ask how my head was…”
“You said it didn’t hurt though,” Arajin grumbles under his breath, blowing on his tea. “I can’t believe this. What on earth was she thinking?”
“Is she your guard dog? A little beast like her couldn’t hurt a fly.” Marito snickers, teeth baring wolfishly. “Don’t tell me she thinks you need her to protect you.”
“It’s more like…she’d step in to help anyone.” Arajin smiles a little himself; he remembers how hard you were shaking, the real fear behind your bold glare. “She’s crazy, that girl.”
“Hey, who are we talking about here?” You come back to their table with two plates loaded up with food. “Arajin, so mean.”
“No, I didn’t mean it how it sounded!” Arajin scrambles to explain himself. “You were really cool back there actually.”
“Aw, come on, you and I both know I’m useless in a fight; that was all a bluff.” You address Marito. “Besides, he’s the one who looks cool. I really like your hair and piercings.”
“Flattery won’t get you on my good side.”
“No, I’m serious.” You tell him with some surprise. “I’m sure you get this a lot, but you could be a model or something; of course, Arajin’s still the cutest. He’s off the charts when it comes to being a cutie pie.”
“Ugh, don’t make fun of me.”
“Come on, no need to be modest in front of your date.” You tease. “He knows what I’m talking about, right Jin-san?”
“I’m an expert.” Marito agrees, fixing Arajin with a knowing look. “You should see how cute he looks when-”
“KNOCK IT OFF!”
“Soooo scary!” Marito cackles. “Is your face red from anger? Or something else?”
“You’re both awful.”
Arajin scoffs but inwardly he’s getting…tingly. It’s almost like both you and Marito are flirting with him, giving him all this attention. He has to remind himself you’re just being nice.
Marito takes a chicken skewer and tears a bite of juicy meat off with a satisfied hum. “Hm, these are different.”
“Oh that one is my recipe.” You grin. “Arajin, do you like it?”
“It’s delicious.”
“Yay!”
Arajin feels his chest swell at the look of pride on your face; honestly he would happily swallow unseasoned glass shards by the spoonful if you asked him to. You were wrong: if anyone’s cute it’s you. God, he’s only been back for a few months; Arajin thought by now you wouldn’t have the same effect on him, especially now he’s seeing someone. To be fair, with Marito he wasn’t exactly given a choice, but still.
“Feed me, Ara-teen!” Marito leans over the table and points to his open mouth. “I want a dumpling.”
“You have hands!”
Arajin’s cheeks flush and he hopes you don’t notice. He uses his chopsticks to take a dumpling and pops it into his mouth, ignoring Marito’s whimper, but hunger wins out and he takes a dumpling for himself.
“Here, don’t forget the sauce.” Arajin slides the bottle over to Marito. “You always eat too fast and forget to use it.”
“Aw, thanks honey~”
“Don’t. Call. Me. That.”
“Yum!” Marito licks his lips eagerly. “These really hit the spot.”
“I hope you like them; I still feel bad about earlier, so I doubled the portion.” You smile sweetly, hands clasped to your chest. “I made them with lots and lots of love, just for you two!”
Arajin almost chokes when your hands form a heart shape; Marito pauses mid bite as you shoot them with a “love beam” and giggle childishly.
“Chu!” You blow them a kiss. “Please let me know if you want anything else; have fun on your date, Arajin-it was nice to meet you, Jin-san.”
Arajin can barely stop himself from staring as the skirt of your uniform flounces around your thighs and your hips sway with every step.
“I see how it is.” Marito leans over the table with a sly smile. “Ara-teen, bad boy. You’re practically family, aren’t ya? Does she know about your little crush? Or were you childhood sweethearts? Don’t say it’s so, I’ll be jealous.”
“No, no, no! We’re barely friends, my mom knew her mom, she’s just…”
But Arajin can tell Marito isn’t buying his excuses; of course he’s thought about you that way.
“I liked her.” Arajin confesses quietly. “She’s cute and she's a good person: I admire her, that's all."
Cute, brave, sweet, and only the most perfect girl and Arajin knows he doesn’t have a chance in hell. Besides, you don’t see him that way; he might as well be your kid brother, the way you fuss and act so protectively.
“I can see it now: two love birds who grew up together, getting married and running this place, a few kids maybe, real domestic. Blegh.” Marito rolls his eyes. “I bet your mom would be thrilled; is she planning the wedding? You're not just playing with me to pass the time, are ya?”
“You know mom likes you; you shocked her maybe, but she thinks you're funny and cool.” Arajin replies with a small smile. "Not that she wouldn't be happy with anyone as long as they treat me well. The only thing that would make the old hag happier is maybe if you and I and-”
“We all got together? You, me, and that little beast?” Marito picks up a dumpling, almost gingerly with his chopsticks, inspecting it with an odd half smile. “Nah, more like…a nervous little kitten who doesn’t know how to use her claws yet. She needs training.”
Arajin watches Marito carefully; he’s been acting off all afternoon. More so, at least.
"You heard what she said: besides, she hates fighting." Arajin remarks, passing Marito the whole plate of skewers. "Go on, these are your favorite right?"
"They're best when you make 'em though." Marito winks, basically salivating as he picks up another stick. "I bet you've had a lot of her cooking, huh?"
"Why do you keep bringing the conversation back to her?" Arajin sighs; his teas gone cold but he's too anxious to call you back over to bring more. "My mom teaches her and she has me for a guinea pig. Actually when she started cooking it was awful."
"Oh?"
"Yeah, always over salted or undercooked or burned, you name it." Arajin recalls various failed dishes he had been assigned to taste test. "She'd do it over and over again though. It was important to her. Mom would tell her food can be an expression of personality; I guess that's why she put so much effort into doing better."
Every time, you would go to him with a hopeful spark in your eyes; even now you're self conscious about how your food tastes. Arajin would say the practice paid off, but considering he would consume poison made with your painstaking care, maybe he's not the one you should've been going to for critiques.
"Her food tastes like her." Marito smacks his lips in satisfaction. "I taste it."
"The saying isn't really literal." Arajin smiles in exasperation. "What are you even tasting?"
Marito leans his chin on his hand; he has a much more subdued expression and the abrupt change on his demeanor isn't lost on Arajin. Marito is being serious.
"Filling warmth."
"Filling...warmth?"
"It's kinda like," Marito drawls. "There's heat in my belly; I already ate so much, I know I shouldn't eat more, but I can't get enough. Don't ya taste it?"
"Yeah, well," Arajin scratches his cheek. "I'd say it's comforting? Something like that."
“So, you do have a crush."
"Marito, lower your voice please!"
"Says the one squealing like a little girl; gotta say, I’m a bit disappointed in you, Ara-teen. All this time and you never tried to claim her? Normally you woulda been kissin' her ass and the ground she walks on, but you're holding back?” Marito asks, almost as if he’s genuinely curious. “You’re so odd: fiery and bold one minute and all shy and timid the next.”
“I mean, we’re…together now, so what does it matter? Come on, it's not funny, Marito. We're on a date but you keep trying to-to goad me into flirting or something.” Arajin glances around, but no one seems to be paying them any mind. “You act like you want me to make a move on her.”
“Maybe I do.”
Arajin watches, gaping as Marito sinks his teeth into the last dumpling; he’s staring towards where you’re speaking with his mother behind the bar counter. You’re nodding, looking fairly serious now, at the ready and eager to help. Arajin can feel his heart fluttering again and he jumps when Marito’s foot slides to tap his own under the table; Arajin looks up but Marito’s eyes are still on you, a strained smile playing on his lips, as if he's trying to not laugh.
Although everything on the table has been devoured already, Arajin wouldn't know it from the hungry way Marito scans your face, the way his tongue darts out as if to savor any trace left of the meal you had brought them. He looks ready to lick the empty plate clean: except, his eyes are still on you.
Arajin squirms in his seat and at the same moment, you seem to have noticed them staring. You wave sweetly, smiling at them; Arajin could dissolve into a puddle as Marito reaches under the table to grasp at his knee.
"Hey, ya know what we oughta do? Let's adopt a kitten."
"What?!" Arajin gasps, words cut off as Marito slides his wandering hand further to his thigh. "Stop teasing, this really, really, isn't funny..."
“I thought you liked when I teased you?" Marito giggles maniacally. "Anyway, she did say with lots and lots of love for us. Or are you so worked up you can't remember?"
"I don't think she meant..I-I couldn't-"
"Please, Ara-teen? Pretty, pretty please?" Marito coos and simpers; there's a hint of pink rising in his pale cheeks. “I wanna play with that kitten.”

Hey, been loving the Nayuta Makima posts! Could I request one of reader and Makima taking Nayuta to the fair or a theme park for the first time?
You and makima taking nayuta to a theme park
A/n:we're back again with my favorite au. Thanks for the request
(Here are Part 1 and 2)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Recently, nayuta had been constantly asking you and her mom to bring her to a theme park after hearing from some of her friends at school how cool it was. So when your day off arrived, you knew exactly how to spend it.
"*gasp* it's so huge, mommy, daddy look, everything looks so cool, it's gonna be so fun"
"*giggle* I'm sure it will, sweetie, so what would you like to do first?"
"Look! There's cotton candy, I wanna eat all of it"
"I'll get you one but you can't eat all of it yuty"
"Eh? But it's so good"
"I know, but then you're gonna get sick, and you don't want that again don't you?"
".......no"
"Good girl, don't worry though, I'll make sure to buy you the biggest one there is"
"Really? Thanks daddy, you're the best"
You indeed brought nayuta cotton candy and helped her eat it since it was a bit too big even for her. You continued to walk around the park until your daughter gasped again and pointed to a booth
"Oh do you want a prize from that nayuta?"
"Yes, please, pretty please, that puppy plushie is adooooorable, I want it, pretty please"
"Well how could I say no to such a polite little girl? I'll win it for you right now"
"Yay! Thanks, Mommy. I love you"
"I love you too, sweetie, now let's see, what do I have to do?"
"I'm sure you can do it love, you just have to hit the target with gun"
"Oh, I don't need a plastic gun for that"
"Uh?"
"There's no one around, so I think it's OK if I show off a bit, I'm sure nayuta would love that"
"*giggle* alright, I wouldn't mind seeing that either"
Makima smiled at you and got a few feet in front of the booth while you took nayuta's hand and led her away from her. Your wife got into position and raised her hand in a finger gun position
"Bang"
An invincible force hit the target right in the middle, piercing it directly
"Oh, lucky me, I got the highest score"
You could practically see stars in nayuta's eyes as she started up at her mom in awe
"That was awesome! You're so cool mommy"
"Please, it's nothing, I'd do anything for you, sweetheart. Take this, it's yours now"
The half devil immediately hugged the plushie while giggling a lot as you pressed a kiss to makima's cheek. She then grabbed yours and nayuta's hands and continued walking
"What? That's no fair, I can't go?"
You reached a roller coaster that nayuta wanted to ride, but unfortunately, you found a sign with a height requirement needed to enter, one that nayuta didn't pass.
"Sorry, but it seems you're too short"
"B-but I'm tall, I........ah! yes, i can get on daddy's shoulders and then I'll be tall enough"
"I don't think that counts, if you get on that, yo could get hurt yuta"
"But-but-"
"I promise we'll find another attraction. In the meantime, I'll get you some ice cream to make it up to you, ok?"
"Cotton candy"
"But....you already had one"
"I want more!"
"*sighs* All right, I guess I can get you another because of this, but no more"
Nayuta nodded rapidly, and you hugged her to cheer her up. You then brought her another cotton candy that she ate while on a safer ride. After she had more fun and was happier, you decided to end the day by going to a ferris wheel
"Wow! I can see everything from here"
"Yeah, it is really pretty isn't it?"
"Oh! Oh! Look! That's my friend, hiiiiiii"
You giggled at how adorable she looked, waving while she was in your arms
"I don't think he can hear you yuta, you can talk to him when we get down"
"OK daddy"
You pulled her away from the window, and in your lap where she started to play with the plushie you brought her, you turned around to see makima holding her phone to take a picture of the scenery
"The view from here is beautiful"
"Not as beautiful as you"
"Hehe, such a charmer, you don't need to compliment me anymore, we're married now"
"Well, I'm just telling the truth"
"Oh really? Then I suppose there's nothing wrong with me calling you the most beautiful and handsome person on this world"
"I think you're kinda exaggerating now"
"Oh I'm most certainly not, and I'll prove it to you"
She leaned closer to you and kissed your lips passionately. You got lost in the moment until you heard nayuta make a disgusted sound from under you
"Yeeeew, that's so yucky"
"It's not, we were just kissing"
"It's still yucky"
"Whatever you say"
You rolled your eyes and looked back at makima, who was now giggling, she pet your head for reassurance and whispered in your ear
"Don't worry, your kisses aren't yucky. She's just still young"
"Yes I know, you're the best kisser I know"
"The same goes for you"

Behind the school, Kitty and Johnny are snarling at each other.
“I swear, I wasn’t checking out the other ladies!”
“I saw you looking, Johnny! I have eyes of my own!”
“Babe, you’re the only one for me!”
Kitty slaps him. “Well, I don’t want you anymore!” Then she catches sight of Danny hovering above. “Come to gawk at this loser?”
He holds up his hands, ignoring the fact that they shake slightly. “No, I don’t want to get in the middle of your fight.”
Johnny revs his bike and Shadow spreads like a cape behind him. “You’re asking for a beating, punk! No one wants you here; this is between us!”
“There is no us!” Kitty looks ready to start slapping again. “Why can’t you get it through your thick, greasy head?”
Danny has far too much experience with fights to get in the middle of a lover's quarrel—again. Unfortunately, Johnny isn’t going to let him slide away.
Leaving Kitty, still yelling, he spins his bike and accelerates at Danny.
The half-ghost, still weak from little food, doesn’t move. One second Johnny is on the ground, and the next he’s slamming into Danny. Did he teleport? Or is Danny’s reaction time just that slow?
Either way, the contact throws him against the brick wall of the school before he can go intangible. Something in his back cracks with the impact, sending a bolt of pain through him. Automatically, he sends a thread of ectoplasm to stabilize whatever was injured until his healing kicks in.
Even this takes longer than it should. By the time Danny is back in the air, too many seconds have passed. Johnny has plenty of time to punch him or set Shadow on him. He does neither.
“Ghost kid?” Johnny sits on his bike, frowning at him. “You’re moving pretty slow, there.”
Danny glares, drawing ecto-energy to his fists in preparation for an attack. For a second there’s two Johnny’s before he blinks and they snap back together. Squinting slightly, Danny throws a blast.
It fizzles out halfway there and they both watch the spark disappear.
“Wow. That was pathetic.” Despite the insult, there’s something in Johnny’s eyes that puts Danny on edge. Not like he’ll attack, but like he’s seeing more than Danny wants him to. “You look like crap. Go take a nap, kid.”
“Can’t,” he grumbles, floating slowly to the ground. If Johnny isn’t attacking, he’ll save his energy from levitating. “Got school. Any chance you two can finish your argument somewhere else?”
Kitty’s face twists like she’s bitten into a lemon, but she climbs stiffly on the bike behind Johnny when he brings it down. “This dump sucks anyway. Let’s go.”
Danny lets the transformation drop as they leave but doesn’t go back into the school. Instead, he slumps against the rough brick and lets his head fall back. That’s the second ghost who’s given up without a fight and left. Is he really so pathetic-looking that he’s not worth the fight? Or are the ghosts planning something worse?

Note
you're saying that Daniel didn't deserve this, but you're still hating on him for that shit he said back in february
make up your mind for fuck's sake
wow okay appreciate you being so civil and nice lmao
just so we’re clear, i’m upset about the principle of this situation cause i hate teams dropping drivers mid-season without warning and treating them like garbage, because they’re all human beings at the end of the day. ultimately they’re all risking their lives weekend after weekend and the teams not having the decency to at least give them a proper goodbye is mad disrespectful.
now that we got this out of the way, the truth is i couldn’t care less about Daniel leaving. it is what it is. i’m not a fan, i never have been and never will be. "that shit" he said back in february was him defending a sexual abuser and i don't know about you, but that's just not something i can easily forget. but what was i expecting from the same man who said that it's "not in his nature" to understand human rights issues and he doesn't watch the news because it's too much drama and negativity and it makes him feel shitty? his next adventure should be teaching weaponized incompetence to beginners.
i can feel bad for him, cause i (unlike him) possess empathy and compassion, along with critical thinking skills. i really tried to refrain from haterism, but i'm honestly so tired of trying to be the bigger person. fans like you (from this visceral reaction, i assume you're a fan) are part of the reason why DR is insufferable and trying to have a nuanced conversation is a lost cause. there is a middle ground between hatred and unquestionable support, i hope you know that.
i don't think he deserved that seat to begin with and i think deep down all of you know that, cause the only thing y'all could come up with to defend him was that he smiled a lot and had a great personality (which is honestly baffling to me, cause his personality is that of a high school bully's, but to each their own, i guess). but y'all are the same people who then turn around and call Checo racial slurs, say that he's washed and call him a pay driver. talk about your driver's skills, let's hear it.
and to make it clear i am over the moon happy for Liam Lawson, cause i think he actually deserves to be in the sport and i am happy that he was the one who replaced him. hating on him also says more about y'all, than him, cause that won't actually bring back your mediocre driver. log off, go out and touch some grass, cause it is never that serious. harassing a young driver who's just trying to do his job and achieve his life long dream over a poorly managed situation he had absolutely no control over is honestly crazy behaviour.
i hope all this is enough for you to know where i stand on this whole thing. if you would've been nice, you would've gotten a nice answer, but since you chose to be an asshole on my own blog, anonymously at that, you get what you came for.
have the day you deserve.

“oh cmon, you’re telling me you haven’t thought about dating me at least once?”
not again. “no atsumu, you dont think i have known you too long to not have realised how you act? i hate to say it but you just aren’t my type.” you’re lying. you have had a crush on him since your last year of middle school, however, miya atsumu may possibly have one of the most annoying personalities you have ever had the misfortune of coming across. for the past month he has taken pleasure in flirting with you to elicit a reaction and so far it hasn’t worked.
so far.
today you decided it was the perfect time to fluster him, i mean it would only be fair to flirt back with him after he has been trying to get your attention for so long, right?
“wow yn you’re going to break my heart, i get i can be a bit much but you don’t find me handsome at all?” the shit eating grin on his face somehow makes him look even more attractive, it highlights the warmth in his cheeks and brings out very faint crow’s feet that just look gorgeous on him. he’s making it way to hard now, you have to flirt with him.
“i mean you are very attractive atsumu, only an idiot would be dumb enough to lie about that.” you’re strategic with your moves, you have seen the way he reacts with his fans so you know the best ways to make him blush. simply placing your hand flat on his chest and staring at his lips for a few seconds is enough to give him a rosy complexion.
“you have such a pretty face, especially when you’re blushing, god i could look at your for hours,” oh he is red now, the plan is working. you start to run your hands down his abs very faintly, he can barely feel the touch of your fingers but he knows its there, he so badly wants to see where his stomach connects with you, but he cant seem to pull his eyes away from yours. “and don’t get me started on your voice, or that amazing body of yours.”
if he were to actually listen to what you are saying he would hear the very obvious sarcasm placed right in front of him, but right now he’s too busy trying to restrain himself from grabbing both sides of your face and kissing you in front of all his teammates. he feels your feather light touches start to ghost up to his head where your fingers make home in his yellow blonde hair, slightly scratching at his scalp in a way you know has him itching for more.
“yn…” he breathes out, he doesn’t really know what he would even say to you, but before he can even think of a sentence you’re starting again.
“and your hair, i love it, the way it compliments your eyes so perfectly, and how soft it is. i think—” your words are cut off by the ringing of the msby jackals gym bell, telling the team its time for a break from practice.
“oh, sorry tsumu,” removing your hand from his hair, he looks sort of disappointed, its cute to say the least. “i have to go help coach foster get the next activity ready.”
and so atsumu is left there completely stunned, a little sweaty and very red, although he claims its just from the intense practice. the only thing he can think to do is grab his phone and open the team groupchat to confess his dying love for their manager.
miya atsumu
holy shit guys
you’ll never guess what just happened

This is just Alcale and single parents Deruth and Zedd
In this world, Zedd is the kind of father who brings random women home and has a collection of side chicks while Deruth is the single dad who tried to spend time with his kid but is too busy
Both Zedd and Deruth are neighbours. They graduated from the same school and uni and became somewhat close. After the accident of the careless nanny, Deruth couldn't trust anyone taking care of his baby boy. Fortunately Zedd is a working from home kinda Ceo
Deruth: Hey remember that one favour you owned me?
Zedd: No, absolutely not. I will not. Please get off my property
Deruth: Please hyung
Zedd: No
Deruth: :3
Zedd:
10 years old Cale: I'm hungry
Zedd: Ok, she can take care of you
Zedd's mistress: Um..
15 years old Alver: Who is that
Cale on the couch watching cartoon snacking on grapes:
Zedd: Another burden
Anyway this is the same au with tiny Cale crushing on Alver and thus why he always comes over almost everyday
It's to the point where if Alver came back home late from an extra curriculum or extra classes, Cale would just fall asleep in his bed and make Alver bedroom his living space
Deruth calling at midnight: Hey so I just came back home and Cale isn't here. Is he with you?
Zedd with his side chick outside at a bar: Uh idk
Deruth: ???? You dk???
Meanwhile Cale is sleeping quietly in Alver bed while Alver is studying
Help Im laughing so hard Zedd is such a manwhore and the worse dad ever
Anyway Cale obvi makes himself at home in Zedd's place. From the very first day he steps in, he was shameless and acting like he's at his own home
Fortunately Cale doesn't make a lot of mess. Unfortunately however he's always snacking on Zedd's snacks
Zedd: The pantry is empty
Cale:
Zedd:
Cale:
Zedd: Do you have anything to say, kid?
Cale: My dog ate your snacks. Not me
Zedd: Wow. You're really Deruth's kid huh
One day when Zedd is sleeping, he wakes up suddenly in the middle of the night, feeling thirsty. When he walks into the kitchen, he finds himself with two kids baking silently in the dark
Zedd turning on the lights: What are you two doing???
Alver: Good morning, dad
Cale: We're baking, sir
Zedd: At one o'clock???? A.m????
Alver: Is there a problem
Zedd: If my house burn down, I'm selling you both
Cale: You can't do that !!
Idk lmao

rosekiller microfic
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL ACE DAY YAYAYAY
here enjoy a rosekiller microfic [1066 words so idk how micro it really is but shhhh] with ace Evan and Barty ‘no homo but I think I love you’ Crouch Jr [I love them so much]
“Truth or dare?”
“Aw come on you guys know me, dare obviously.”
Barty grinned at the circle of his friends sat cross legged all around him.
“Mmm I’ve got one.”
Regulus raised an eyebrow challengingly, everyone knew Regulus gave out the most brutal dares. Barty wasn’t phased though, it was almost impossible to make Barty embarrassed honestly, outwardly at least. Last time he’d taken a dare from Regulus he’d gone around school in bright pink robes for the next week.
“Bring it on Reggie.”
“I dare you to make out with Evan till I stop you.”
Barty scrunched his nose.
“Oh is that it?”
“Uh rude.”
Evan said.
Barty turned to him quickly, placing a hand on his best friend’s cheek.
“Don’t be like that Goldilocks you know I’m hopelessly in love with you. I just meant Reg usually gives…more dramatic dares.”
“Yeah whatever prick. And who says I wanna make out with this dickhead anyway. It’s Bee’s dare not mine.”
“Aw come on Rosie don’t you think I’m pretty.”
Barty batted his eyes and pretended to fan himself, Evan shoved him to the ground with a laugh. Evan had one of the prettiest laughs Barty had ever seen. He wasn’t gay or anything but the way Evan’s halo of blonde curls bounced up and down gently made his stomach flip. Barty sort of wanted to reach out and run a hand through those curls actually, they looked soft. Evan looked soft, in a big purple hoodie and smooth warm skin and red lips currently stretched out in a big smile that just made his whole face light up. Barty found himself joining in. Evan pulled him up off the wooden floor and ran a hand through Barty’s hair, messing it up affectionately.
“Fine, I guess I’ll do it.”
Barty turned, facing Evan properly and lifting a hand to his cheek as Evan pulled him in by the collar. They were so close now, hesitating just before their lips pressed and all Barty could think was EvanEvanEvan.
He could smell him, the conditioner he used softly scented of toffee and pears.
He could feel his breath warm and tickling against his skin.
“Come on get on with it.
Regulus huffed. And suddenly they were meeting in the middle and Evan’s lips were pressed against him and he tasted better than Barty could ever have imagined and and-wow. This was nice. This was lovely. Barty’s hands wandered to Evan’s hair, fingers running through it like he’d imagined only moments ago. But it was so much better than he’d imagined. Evan was so. And it was wonderful. And the way Evan had his arms wrapped around Barty’s waist, pulling him closer made the butterflies in his stomach just soar. He wanted to stay like this forever, just utterly surrounded by Evan. He loved this. He loved- Oh. Oh.
Oh that’s what this was.
And it all made sense suddenly.
Evan pulled back panting for a moment and Barty tried to bite back the smile he could feel forming on his face as he saw Evan’s kiss bitten lips.
He leaned back in again to keep going but Evan glanced his eyes around and sighed.
“Barty.”
He motioned his hand out and Barty glanced around. The room was empty, the others must have snuck out while he and Evan were- he tried to stifle his smile again as he thought about it. He clearly didn’t manage very well because Evan flicked his arm angrily.
“It’s not funny.”
“No, no I wasn’t laughing I just…had fun.”
Evan glanced up at him eyes wide and pupils dilated.
“Y-you did?”
“Yeah. We could…keep going. Only if you wanted obviously.” Barty mumbled.
Evan opened his mouth and then shut it again.
“I- I don’t know if that’s such a good idea Barty.”
Barty felt his world crash down around him. Or it felt something like that at least.
“Yeah. Yeah it was stupid I shouldn’t have- I uh-“
His words felt like lead in his mouth. He was so stupid. So fucking dumb. He-
“Barty.”
Evan’s voice was soft and grounding. Evan’s hand on his shoulder was even more grounding. He looked up at his best friend.
“You good?” Evan asked.
“Yeah. Thanks. I just shouldn’t have said that.”
“Barty…do you like me?”
“I- yeah. A lot actually.”
It felt somehow wonderful and horrifyingly disarming to admit. He squirmed under Evan’s gaze. Vulnerable, as a rule, was not a thing Barty Crouch Jr strived to achieve.
Evan’s eyebrows shot up.
“Oh. Oh same. I really…”
Barty’s breath hitched.
“Be my boyfriend, please.”
He asked voice scratchy and quiet.
Evan paused. He seemed to be having a conversation in his mind, eyebrows furrowing. Barty reached up and pressed a thumb between his two brows.
“Talk to me.”
Evan sighed softly.
“I can’t give you the things you want in a relationship.”
“Evan the thing I want is you.”
“I know. But I don’t, I hate sex, it just grosses me out and I don’t think I’ll ever want to do it and I know you like it and- and I don’t want you getting bored of just me.”
“How could I ever get bored of just you?” Barty murmured, eyes searching Evan’s face for some kind of plausible answer. Impossible. Because I could never be bored of him.
“Barty there’s no going back if this all blows up in our faces.”
Evan warned but Barty could feel the way his face had edged closer.
“Evan there already is no going back. Besides I never want to. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
And with that they kissed again. And when they broke apart again it was because Barty couldn’t stop grinning. Foreheads pressed together they breathed gently.
“So will you be my boyfriend?”
Barty asked with a chuckle.
Evan mussed up his hair again.
“What do you think you cunt?”
“Mmm I think your insults won’t work anymore now that I know how irresistible you find me.”
Evan groaned as Barty tugged him up to standing.
“I take it all back, I hate you.”
Barty laughed, pulling Evan to his bed.
They fell asleep there, cuddling and whispering soft words and gentle laughter till Regulus found them in the morning, curled up against each other with soft smiles.
“Fucking FINALLY!”
Barty and Evan just laughed.

Humans Solve Problems With Explosions
Frank and Mel'iarr are sitting together in the common area of the Starbase, chatting. They have been fast friends ever since they were paired together on the Starbase Fire Brigade. Mel was fascinated about humans, and Frank was willing to indulge him when he asked questions... most of the time.
Mel'iarr puts down his tea. "Frank, the Humans have been in space a long time right?"
Frank nods and sips his cocoa. "That's what they tell us in school."
"So that means you've probably tried just about every method of propulsion in space, yeah?"
"Actually, yes! This was one of my favorite topics as a kid. I must have absorbed everything I could find about it."
"Oh, so you could talk to me about your historical propulsion systems! Do you mind if we talk about them?"
Frank looks at his friend, surprised. "I'd love to, but why?"
"To settle a bet." Mel'iarr picks up his chamomile tea and glances at it. With a flick of his ears - like a shrug - he tosses his tea back, finishing it. "You didn't jump to thrusters immediately and I know humans can be really inventive, so I assume you had some unusual ideas you tried out."
"Hmm. Okay, how about the Nuclear Salt Water Rocket?"
Mel'iarr chokes on his tea. Frank jumps up and pats his back. Mel holds up a hand and sputters. "The what?"
"Oh yeah, it's a great one! Take nuclear fuel, dissolve it in water, and then concentrate it to just under criticality - that's the point where fission takes place - and then squirt it into a chamber where it can achieve criticality and bam! Fission. Now, shoot that now superheated steam and heat from the reaction out the back, and you're making thrust."
Unconsciously, Mel'iarr leans back in his chair. "But, that's just sounds like a nuclear bomb that-"
"-That's going off all the time out the back yeah. Worked really well." As he talks, Frank becomes more animated. He's gesturing and his eyes are shining. Mel'iarr's tail flicks worriedly. "It was tough to get the pipes lined up correctly to not cause an early criticality incident, but we figured that out - mostly - before we started using them. Only a few blew up, but when they did, hoo boy. You could see it practically everywhere in the system."
Mel'iarr ears flatten. "Wow. Um, okay. That was a bit more... intense than I figured. Do you have another one that's less..." He thought for a moment. "Insane?"
Frank looks off into the middle distance. "Oh! I know one! It's an old one, but I always liked imaging using it. It's so old that it predates us leaving Earth entirely. An Orion Engine."
Mel'iarr relaxes. "That doesn't sound so-"
Franks gesturing nearly knocks over his cocoa. "I love this one, it's so simple and elegant. You just make hundreds and hundreds of small nuclear bombs, shoot them out the back one at a time, detonate them, and ride the pressure wave forward and repeat!"
Mel'iarr's fur poofs out angrily and his ears flick forward. "No. You're lying. You're just making that up."
"I'm not! Look!" Frank takes a moment to search on his pad, and brings up an archive video to show Mel.
While they're talking, Mel'iarr's other human friend, James walks by. James and Mel'iarr work together in Environmental Processing. With the Starbase's low population, Frank knows him too, but they're not especially good friends. Mel'iarr gestures to the human. "James! You have to help me!"
James looks down and the small, worried K'laxi. "Of course Mel, what is it? What's wrong?"
"Pen'men said that I couldn't find a problem that humans don't solve with explosions. I was speaking with Frank - from the Fire Brigade - and he started describing old human space propulsion systems that make me think that humans solve every problem with explosions."
James raised an eyebrow. "I mean space propulsion is by definition explosion based. That's a wild place to start, Mel. But okay, we can think of something." As they're thinking, Kerry walks by. She works in the infirmary and plays pickleball with James. "Kerry! Give me a problem that we don't solve with an explosion."
"Uh, a fire." Kerry offers.
Mel'iarr shakes his head sadly. "No, you've used explosions to blast oxidizer away from a fire, putting it out."
Kerry blinks, impressed. "Woah, neat! Hmm. cooking?"
Mel'iarr's ears droop. "There's a ancestors cursed grain that explodes when you cook it!"
"Oh popcorn, right." James sits down next to Frank and Mel and gestures for Kerry to join them.
"Oh! I've got one. Negotiation! Frank crosses his arms and looks satisfied.
Mel'iarr gives him a look. "I thought of that. What about intimidating the other side with an explosive based show of force?"
"Damn! I thought I had it there. Okay okay...." Frank picks up his cocoa, long gone cold, and takes a sip.
James casts his head around the room. "What about welding?"
"Welding?"
"Yeah, that's done with heat and electricity, but not explosions."
"I'm sorry James, I couldn't help overhearing." The Starbase AI cuts in "But humans have welded with explosions. It's a known method in welding two dissimilar metals in extreme environments."
Frank sits up and looks over at the Starbase interface screen. "Woah, really? That's so cool!"
"Frank, focus please." Mel'iarr says. "We're looking for non-explosive solutions."
"What about medical issues?" Kerry says. "There can't be a lot of call for explosions there."
Frank nods. "Hmm, now we might be onto something. What do you think Starbase?"
"Searching."
A moment goes by and Mel'iarr allows himself a moment's hope that he has finally found a solution that doesn't involve explosions.
"Results found. Mel'iarr, the humans use Nitroglycerin - an explosive - to treat heart disease."
All of Mel'iarr's fur poofs out in surprise. "THEY DO WHAT?"
"It helps prevent chest pains as a result of heart disease according to my records."
Kerry holds up her hands. "Wait. Wait wait wait. If we're counting nitroglycerins then we have to count electricity which can be generated by explosions."
"How in the name of my Ancestors do you generate electricity from explosions? Mel'iarr slumps back into his chair, defeated.
"We don't as much now, but electricity is generated from spinning a magnetic field, right? We had reciprocating engines that worked off of the explosion of refined hydrocarbons for hundreds of years."
James looks at Mel and narrows his eyes. "How did you do it at first Mel? You can't tell me you never developed reciprocating engines."
Mel'iarr Looks up at James. "No, we did, but they're different, they use temperature differential. Starbase, what's the human word for them?"
"Stirling engines, Mel'iarr. Humans did develop them, but they decided that the exploding way was preferable."
Mel'iarr puts his head in his hands. "I don't know what's worse! That you have an exploding solution to every problem or that you both think they're all really neat!
"I can't help it Mel'iarr, explosions are cool." James looks kindly at his friend.
Kerry agrees. "It's probably why it's used as a solution so often."
After the evening meal on that same day, Mel'iarr walks over to Pen'men while she's on her shift in Traffic Control, and silently hands her some currency.
Pen'men looks up from her console and stares at Mel'iarr.
Mel'iarr shakes his head. "You were right. They solve every problem with explosions."
"Told you."

Clarisse x FemReader
Summary: you were close as two peas in a pod until you weren't, what happenes when you find an interesting way fo reconnect and apologize for what happened.
Warning: language, nudity fingering, oral.
Pt1?
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
You and Clarisse had been best friends since forever your moms were friends before you were born so you automatically binded together. The camp had started back again and you've never needed to miss Clarisse, she was your neighbor out of camp and in camp. You stayed in the Aphrodite cabin which was right next to the Ares Cabin. People knew you as the unbeatable duo. Being popular at the camp known for doing everything together pranks, dares. But mostly being known for spin the bottle.
4 years ago when they were 14 the last day of camp the older kids played spin the bottle on the beach away from the younger campers who were sleeping peacefully in their cabins. You guys laughed and played spin the bottle as clarisses spin landed on some councilor she then made out with him in front of everyone. They cheered as I raised my eyebrow and studied her face to see if she was even into it. They pull apart and laugh. “You’re a very good kisser,” Clarisse said winking at the flustered boy. “Bullshit,” I said under my breath at her reaction
Odessa looked at her and knit her eyebrows, “my turn.” Odessa announces grabbing the bottle as she spun it. Everyone watched intently as it landed on the same guy clarisse just kissed. I smiled at him as we crawled across the sand to the Middle of the circle and grabbed his face kissing him passionately after about 2 minutes I pull away going back to my spot feeling eyes on me. The guy sat there dazed “Wow” he said as he went back to his spot dumbfounded. Clarisse looked at the girl with her eyebrows furrowed, but being ignored by her. The night went on until they all had packed to go home. Clarisses mom had picked them up and bring them home.
Clarisse stormed inside her house as if she was mad. Odessa was confused and guessed it might've been about spin the bottle “I guess she liked him.” Odessa goes into the neighboring house and shuts the door. School started the same week so they both had stuff to do the whole week having time for each other then school did start and they didn't have time for each other because of school work and then the weekends came around and they hung out with different people or stayed inside. Their windows faced each other's rooms so you could see each other getting ready for different hangouts or studying.
Tumblr media
It was one week until they were going back to camp, school had ended and Clarisse was lying in her bed bored. It was a Friday night She had an idea to check on her old friend Odessa. She got up and looked through the window. She of course wasn't going to walk over there like a normal person. They weren't really speaking terms, but the Windies helped with that since they were across the road from each other on the second floor. She looked around their Emory street it was pretty late meaning kids were most likely partying like there was no tomorrow.
Looking through her window to see if she saw her but her room was empty she watched for a bit until she got bored of looking at the girl's room then Odessa walked into her room her hair was damp as if she just washed it and a towel around her body. Clarisse wanted to obey her privacy but her eyes were glued out her window unable to move.
Pick a song.
Tumblr media
Freshly bathed Odessa confidently enters her bedroom in just her towel. It's obvious she was just in the shower. discarding her damp towel, her skin still glistening from the moisture. She reached for her hair diffuser, her fingers dancing over the buttons with practiced ease. As she moved around her room, she was a picture of carefree joy, her laughter filling the air like a melodious song. She was acutely aware of Clarisse's presence, her gaze from the window lending an added thrill to the moment. That's why Odessa made no attempt to cover herself, her skin bared to the world as she applied lotion with a generous hand, mixing in an extra amount of oil for good measure. She made sure to stay within full view of her window, her actions a silent performance for her lone audience member.
Clarisse, for her part, found herself entranced by the scene unfolding before her eyes. Then, her phone buzzed with a new message. A quick photo from Odessa accompanied a playful text that read, "I see you, stalker." A mischievous invitation was extended, and after a moment's hesitation, Clarisse abandoned her post at the window and hurried over to Odessa's house.
Upon arriving, she was warmly welcomed by Odessa's mother. The woman was always friendly and hospitable, her delight at Clarisse's unexpected visit evident in her glowing smile and welcoming words. It had been several months since their last encounter, and the reunion was a pleasant surprise. However, Clarisse, citing the need to work on a school project, cut the conversation short and requested to see Odessa. With a nod of approval, she was allowed to proceed upstairs.
There, she found Odessa lounging nonchalantly, a book in her hand. She was casually dressed in a white crop top and a thong, her earlier display of uninhibited freedom seemingly forgotten. Odessa greeted her with a casual, "Hey, long time no see?" Clarisse, her resolve firm, shut the window and joined Odessa on the bed. She found herself captivated by the girl before her, the one who had teased and tantalized her with such confidence. "Are we ever going to talk about us not being friends anymore?" Clarisse asked. Odessa, after a moment's pondering, simply responded, "Later," Odessa says as she pulls the girls hand and drags her into her bed. She looks into Clarisses eyes as she moves her hands to her face brushing hwr fingers against the girls skin as she moves in closer so the girl is aware what is happening. She makes sure she's going slow.
their lips meeting in a dance of desire. Their breaths intertwined, the space between them filled with shared panting as their hands explored each other's bodies, their touches filled with a sense of familiarity and a hint of curiosity. Odessa bit Clarisse's bottom lip, deepening the kiss and heightening the passion between them. Clarisse responded with her own movements, grinding her core against Odessa's leg in a rhythmic dance of desire.
Their shared passion continued to escalate, their movements growing more desperate as their breaths turned ragged and uneven. They only pulled apart when the need for oxygen overpowered them, their foreheads resting together in an intimate embrace as they fought to regain their breaths. Their connection, however, remained unbroken, a testament to the intensity of their shared desire.
Clarisse's hands confidently slide down to Odessa's thong, pulling it down. Odessa reacts with a whimper at the unexpected chill that greets her wetness as she detaches her lips from Odessa to hear her voice.
Odessa, with an assurance in her movements, wraps her arms around Clarisse's waist. As Odessa begins to nuzzle her head into the other girl's neck, she leaves a trail of wet kisses along her neck. The realization of the moment settles between them, understanding the need for silence due to Odessa's mother being downstairs.
Clarisse moans into Odessa's ear, her hands making their way down to her clit, rubbing it in slow, deliberate circles. Odessa's breath hitches as she arches, her hands gripping Clarisse tightly. Clarisse releases a groan at the reaction, letting a finger slip into you without warning. "ᴄʟᴀʀɪꜱꜱᴇ!!" Odessa's voice chokes out as Clarisse deftly takes the thong Odessa was wearing and places it into her mouth to muffle her sounds.
As another finger enters Odessa, her eyes roll back in her head as she battles the overwhelming sensations brought on by her ex-best friend. A few minutes later, Odessa is melting into her touch, her eyes watering and on the brink of release. Clarisse stops as she senses Odessa's body beginning to spasm.
Odessa lets out a muffled whine through the cloth in her mouth. Clarisse expertly positions the girl on the bed and dives between her legs, her tongue working its magic. Odessa gasps as she arches, muffling her sounds as Clarisse works her over.
“ʏᴏᴜ ᴛᴀꜱᴛᴇ ꜱᴏ ɢᴏᴏᴅ.”
Overwhelmed by the statement, Odessa climaxes, her body sweaty and shaking from the intense experience. Clarisse gently removes the cloth from the girl's mouth and kisses her with a lust-filled intensity.
Odessa rides out her high on Clarisse's thigh, catching her breath. "Wanna do something fun?" Odessa asks, her eyes drifting towards her Polaroid camera with a playful smile. Catching on, Clarisse returns the grin.
With a nod of agreement, they position themselves on the bed, their bodies intertwined in a sensual pose. Odessa captures the moment with a click of the camera, their shared intimacy immortalized in the resulting Polaroid photograph. They do more poses and use the polaroid to take the photos.
Hours later and Clarisse leaves to go home as she goes downstairs she greets your mom saying bye and that she'll catch with uo with her later. Running across the street Clarisse eneters hwe house in a daze her back is against the door as she breaths heavily. She lets out a light laugh as she enters her room closing hwe window. She looks down at her hand and sees a polaroid Odessa gave her as a gift. It was Odessa in red-laced underwear.
