Scara doesn't go full yan on others because he respects Kazuha a lot. The reader and Kazu are his friends after all (and they joke that he's their son, that's their dynamic). That's why the first line in Scara's end says something about how he has to break that promise he made years ago because he can't hold back anymore.

And as for Childe:

He did die fighting. He fought Albedo AND Amber.

It's basically Albedo and Amber teaming up to duel Ajax and the incentive was "Trinkets From Outside" so people can get clothes, items, or body parts from someone out there. This was supposed to be the murder case if Tighnari won the poll.

Amber gets Eula's gloves. Albedo receives a tiny finger and the shogun refuses to confirm if it's Klee's or not. Tighnari gets Collei's hair, so he was the one most suspect because Collei's hair was in the crime scene.

Ajax gets not one but a crap ton of "trinkets", all whom he knows are parts of his siblings.

It's super fun!! But ultimately irrelevant from the main fic.

We know how Merlin stabbed her before he even told her he was using a dragonsbreath-forged sword, right? But then after he revealed the make of the sword, He plunged Excalibur even deeper and held her closer to him!

Throughout the process, she just holds on tightly to his shoulder.

He made sure the sword went all the way in! Then Morgana just loses strength and slides down.

This whole thing is so cruel and brutal but also skdjsjhahsjajskdfl. I always thought those tumblr posts about the eroticism of penetration by knifepoint were ironic and funny. But after I rewatched this scene I was like "I get it, I get it now."

Congrats for colin and katie for making this gruesome scene way hotter than it should be.

It’s not uncommon for me to get excited or giddy while reading fanfics but very rarely do they make me giggle like a school girl like yours did >.>

I was sort of on edge as I was reading cause I didn’t read the synopsis so it came as a shock to me that y/n made out with Albedo 😳

Anyways, sorry for rambling aaa just wanted to say that that fic was very nice and I look forward to more of your works !!!

I admit, Albedo isn't one of my most fave characters either because I equally love both Dainsleif and Ayato so so much (though not a lot of people would believe the former because I made too many Ayato fics AND ZERO DAINSLEIF lololol). I had to check the wiki multiple times and watched some event scences just to get a grasp on what he's like... and I believe in Smugbedo supremacy--.

I'm super relieved to hear that there's a shock factor in the fic! I was scared the story would be super obvious since dorian/rubedo is there as his brother and people would immediately sus what was going on hehe. It's always nice to receive messages like this!
