We first met when he was 17 and he performed at one of my shows and I was blown away by his talent.

It was recorded while in the hospital. Last year, while crossing the street he was unfortunately hit by a car and has been enduring a long recovery as a result of the accident. I just saw him post that he is walking with a cane now which brings much joy to my heart, as he has been in a wheelchair for almost a year.

this one starts off as human!alastor/lucifer but by the middle(?) its just regular radioapple. basically al is encountered by luci while finishing off a job who agrees to keep quiet. luci just keeps on showing up, reveals hes the devil to which al us just like "lol ok" and eventually they get in a relationship (ooh lala 👀) but they break up after saying some hurtful things to each other (oh nono 👀) with luci promising al they will never cross paths again. if you watched the show then well. you know that doesnt happen 😂 most human!al radioapple have al summon him (no hate to them) so this was an interesting change of pace

cannot stress it enough but this is a WORKING list i WILL be coming back to it bc these are purely the fics i could think if off the top of my head. IN FACT, if any of you have radioapple fics you love, SEND THEM THE FUCK IN! i am one person whos only been in this fandom for 4 months, and reading fics/shipping radioapple even less, theres bound to be some ones i missed that you think are Worthy™️! and if theyre nsfw then at the very least it shouldnt be the main focus

Don't think words can convey how delighted I am whoever styled Nagumo for the festa merch made his outfit atrocious. Do you GET how amazing and in-character that is? It's like a dog doing whatever he wants bc he knows you'll love him for it anyway. The 2 clashing patterns on the shirt and the pants, the walmart bargain bin shoes, and the goodwill trench in mold green? Even his body language acting on hesitant and shy is more than I could dream of. (don't get me started on how he's drawing attention to the rings on his hands with his fingers). All that mess and people are still going to find him attractive. Teary eyed from just how *perfect* it all is. He has pretty privilege and everyone knows it (himself most of all).

Of course the kiddos and Pops look great, but it's the Order trio that drove home for me the fact the artist/stylist has to have red the source manga. The way they picked something formal for Osa that makes her chest look massive shows just enough skin for her to be slightly uncomfortable yet rock it (think JAA corporate gala). The way they even coordinated the silver in her hairclips and purse hardware with her partner's necklace. Shishiba's lax suaveness in his gangster-adjacent open collar shirt and black suit coat... the hairtie on his wrist... Never been so chuffed about a set of alternate styled outfits in my life. You can just tell when a stylist UNDERSTANDS a character's personality and vibe based on the outfit they put together, and here that understanding even extends to body language. Massive kudos to the brain behind it. They deserve a great packet of freshly steamed meat buns ˗ˋˏ ♡ ˎˊ˗

Lol your defending for GabiYui is really on point. I remember some watchers even said 'too bad Gabimaru's heart is stick on his wife, Sagiri is much prettier or hotter' or 'go for it Gabimaru, it's okay to have multiple wives'. Come on, are we now living in an era where a husband being loyal to his wife is something really weird? I need Gabimaru to show his ninjutsu to these people lol.

awww thank you! ofc I will defend GabiYui no matter what since this pair is so close to my heart and has actually inspired me to write better at romance (aside from the other characters from different fandoms I am in) and do my best in life (Nishinoya from Haikyuu is still my main drive but still)

re: "Sagiri is prettier than Yui" issue

these two are absolute sisters your honor

I won't deny that sagiri is beautiful like I swear have you seen her and the way she fights back despite men looking down on her and how she swings her sword? plus episode 6 highlighted her being able to balance her emotions, making her gently kill rokurota. ugh perfection. chef's kiss. 1000/10 rating.

but ya know I don't get why people have to be like "Sagiri is way prettier and hotter but too bad Gabi is not in love with her" like what do you mean too bad? like ???? idk if it's just me but does gabimaru have to appreciate her being hot or what? plus ya know gabi is not into the appearance anyways. he even said in the latest episode (which is episode 7 as of this writing) that appearances really don't matter.

plus I don't get why people love comparing yui and sagiri's physical appearance against each other and saying "this girl is prettier" yada yada when they are both best girls with distinct beauty. in fact, there is an interview with Chainsaw Man author Tatsuki Fujimoto about Hell's Paradise author Yuji Kaku where he discussed about drawing female characters. according to Fujimoto-sensei, Kaku-sensei always drew his female characters beautifully in an aesthethic manner and his reason behind this is bcos "all girls are cute regardless so we must always draw them as cute girls" (not exact quote but you get what I mean) that's why Fujimoto-sensei added he has been trying to draw his female characters as cute as possible. so yeah both sagiri and yui are cute and pretty or whatnot. they just exhibit different vibes like sagiri has major main female chara vibes while yui is def softcore cottagecore vibes 🥰🥰🥰

besides, no matter what people say, yui will still be the most beautiful person in gabimaru's eyes. he even said so in both manga and episode 7.

note: he used the word "utsukushii" for the term "beautiful" and in Japanese, using this term means you really find a person so beautiful inside and out that it moves you emotionally so the mere fact gabimaru described yui in this manner despite her telling him that she's ugly is something else 😭🥺💖

re: "it's okay for Gabimaru to take on multiple wives" issue

(THIS ONE WILL CONTAIN MAJOR MANGA SPOILERS AND OTHER CANON EVIDENCES THAT HAVEN'T BEEN TRANSLATED OR MOST PEOPLE HAVE NO HANDS ON DUE TO LIMITED SOURCES)

here's MY NOT SO CONTROVERSIAL TAKE on this one bcos you all know my answer.

it is no doubt that gabimaru can take on multiple wives. after all, gantetsusai mentioned he has multiple wives across japan. plus their time period allows men to marry multiple women so people making this statement knows what they are saying.

HOWEVER!

I actually don't think gabimaru will engage in this sort of thing (see, I told you my opinion on this is not controversial hehe) and here's why.

we all know that osa (aka iwagakure village chief) killed gabimaru's parents and took gabimaru in, even to a point where gabimaru literally lives in the village chief's home like some sort of special treatment.

however, I think one reason gabimaru got special treatment is bcos both of his parents are high-class shinobis (like jonin level) and ofc osa saw his potential that maybe "ah this kid might inherit his parents' ninja skills or something"

plus, osa doesn't have any sons to begin with bcos surprise surprise YUI HAS NEARLY 20 HALF SISTERS with her being the eighth daughter. and accdg to Kaku-sensei, there is a major possibility of yui and gabimaru meeting as children (but alas it is hard to tell since yui has so many sisters). and yes this is all mentioned in Jigokuraku Kaitai Shinsho (pls someone translate this huhu)

so when tsuki (the toasted marshmallow gabimaru that we know) became the 58th gabimaru by killing the 57th gabimaru, he was rewarded for his skills and intellect by marrying yui. but the thing is, it's a common talk among iwagakure ninjas that osa has been looking for a successor and bcos he doesn't have a son, the only choice is to have gabimaru marry into his family (which is common in Japan)

fun fact: gabimaru actually doesn't know why he was married to yui though. he even thought maybe yui has some kind of secret ninjutsu or something. he tried to find out but this boy went home and when yui greeted him with a beaming smile, he was immediately overwhelmed with feelings that he forgot his own agenda 😭😭😭

so what's the point of all this? you see gabimaru has never realized why yui was so adamant abt this sense of normalcy and all that stuff until he finally learned the meaning behind her dream. after all, in iwagakure, when a man is born, he automatically has to be a ninja and a woman has to get pregnant and bear more children that will become ninjas. and if they die during training, then they'll be replaced by another batch of offsprings that will be ninjas or vessels for children.

in short: women in iwagakure are not only beaten, but also treated as baby-making factories (ofc some of them become kunoichis but most of them just become a housewife that takes care of dozen babies). doesn't matter how young or old. as long as you can get pregnant, then you go do your duty for iwagakure. hence why yui loathed this kind of set up and when she voiced out her want for normalcy, she paid the price by having her face scarred.

but what if a girl doesn't get pregnant? ahh then the guy will take another wife, get her pregnant, then process repeat and repeat. it's a cruel cycle that never ends.

in osa's case, it took him like so long before finally accepting his wives cannot give him a son. and in my own opinion, these things can influence gabimaru into not having a harem marriage in the first place. like imagine marrying multiple women just for the sake of a duty.

besides, given how bad he's down for yui, I don't think he would want another woman other than her. like srsly gabimaru has so much respect for her and having a harem marriage would defeat every single thing he and yui are fighting for.

after all, gabimaru hates the idea of women being treated as broodmares. remember, his wife has been "marked" for the same reason. like he really abhors the idea and there are theories of yui being possibly pressured into having children with gabimaru and tbh it all boils down into this canon evidence from the manga.

plus I hate it when people normalize cheating like "gabi might cheat with sagiri" or something like srsly? I thought we were all past NTR and all that stuff? if you are into NTR kinks, there are various media forms that can cater to that and sadly, Hell's Paradise is not the medium for NTR as much as these people want it to be.

Howdy hey! Today is my day, so I bring to the table a transfem!IQ & Osa ficlet for @dualrainbow 's Suns Out Guns Out (SOGO) event!

I have a few trans* headcanons for the R6 operators (being transmasc myself), and thought it would be fun to kind of explore one of those headcanons with a canonically trans* operator as well. As such, this ficlet is inspired by the fresher, Nighthaven arc (post 2022 Six Invitational).

Left this vaguely open in terms of whether it's ship or not, but I like to imagine this as a sort of "first step" for the two 💕

This is also loosely inspired by a few coming out experiences of my own, as well as similar conversations in general about gender. Because let's be real, that shit can be awkward sometimes-

Translations are at the bottom of the ficlet, but please forgive if these aren't 1:1 or perfect uses! I researched them but you can only find so much on forum sites and Reddit. German was easier for me to verify as I'd studied it, but there weren't a lot of resources on Croatian that I could find so I do apologize.

I've jokingly dubbed this "Transfems in STEM", but there isn't an official title or anything. Purely vibes!

Rambling aside, I hope y'all enjoy! Here's a brief summary:

They had met here and there through their service with Rainbow. Mostly through the guidance of others—and most notably when paired together under the command of Kali—but their natural interests in technology had meant one would always seek the other out when hearing of interesting new news. Of course, and perhaps humorously, the other person in the pair had already heard the news as well… But it was still nice to chat back and forth about their thoughts. It was refreshing.

It was something that became a routine habit between the two, and that led to them breaking out of their shells with one another.

Monika was hardly a social type, even within her own team. She cared deeply for them, and genuinely did see them as her friends. Stated time and time again that they were, even if her actions weren't always indicative of such. There was still this lingering distance. A subtle discomfort that stemmed from somewhere deeper within. A lingering insecurity that she may say too much, or that she wouldn't 'meet the mark' and humiliate herself in doing such.

Likewise, Anja was cordial with most (if a bit colder). Quicker; to the point. Her care for others, more often than not, showed through her work. Hours spent tinkering away in research and development labs to present a personalized gadget. Ngũgĩ's Mag-Net, Håvard's Aqua Breacher, and specialized prosthetics for Apha. Yet even then, there was a less-than-subtle difference. One that she deliberately placed there; talking with her, especially on a personal level, was a professional courtesy. Something the may help the team, but that took away from her work. Placed her in a spotlight that—depending on the day—she'd rather avoid.

Yet there was this magnetic pull between the two.

An odd chemistry that led to after-hours chats amongst the strewn about circuitry of the labs. Dimmed lights shone over the dark epoxy resin surfaces and the two women sat upon stools, idly picking away at whatever takeout they'd managed to get sneak back into the base through the clever use of the German's hoodie. Equally idle chatter filled the still air, conversations waxing and waning through topics and padded by light laughter as they'd recalled whatever wild stories that came to mind. Those from their former teams, from their lives before involvement with Rainbow…

"You know," Anja began, "You seem like the sci-fi type. Have you ever seen Empress of the Plutomatons?"

Monika's eyes lit up, hand briefly sitting over her mouth as she'd forced herself to finish the mouthful of food she'd just taken in. All the while, she nodded excitedly.

"Have I ever—Of course I have!" Another fit of laughter from the two at the enthusiastic outburst. "You know, I always wanted to base my whole look off of the Empress. The long, wavy hair. The fierce make-up. Weißte? Everything about her was just so…"

"Perfect?"

A dreamy sigh. "Sehr perfekt."

"What stopped you?" A genuine curiosity lingered in the Croatian's tone, eyes studying the other as she mulled the thought over. "You would pull it off well."

A warmth began to spread over the apples of Monika's cheeks. A subtle skip in her pulse that, while undetectable to the other occupant in the room, felt deafening. Then a subtle chill down her spine. What had stopped her was fear. The idea of being a caricature, that is more so than people around her life at the time had believed her to be. She stood out enough as she grew into her femininity. Hated every scrutinizing second that'd pass while she simply existed within the public eye. Glossed lips parted to release a soft sigh.

"It's… a long story."

"And not one you feel like sharing?" Anja piqued a brow, tilting her head slightly as she sipped at her drink.

The slow shake of the head. A nauseating bubble as her mind wandered to potential reactions to the explanation. A lingering wanting that brought Monika's mouth to move before her mind could stop it.

"Well. It's just—it felt… wrong. Like it wouldn't have really been who I am. That doesn't make sense, I know—"

"It does. Trust me." Anja smiled, a hint of sadness in her eyes. She was thankful the reflections on the glasses hid it. "I am sure you've probably heard all about me from the others. You know, even under Kali's command, not many of them wanted to work with 'someone like me' at first. I was used to it, it was no different in Zagreb—the same old discussions that you learn to tune out for something better."

Monika's interest was piqued. What did she mean by that? She had heard gossip of her direct approach to things. Her passions for the job. How she was had her soft spots, as much as she denied them. But…

"Heard about what?"

There was a long pause upon hearing the question. A near-uncomfortable silence that filled the room. Then boisterous laughter as the operator keeled over at the table.

"Molim—You can't be serious. Everyone finally shuts up about it, and I'm the last to find out?" She wiped at her eyes, briefly lifting her glasses from her features before settling back into her resting position. "I'm transgender, Monika."

Another long pause, though much less uncomfortable than the first. Rather, it was like someone had popped a bubble encasing the room and released all the tension built up within it. Unconsciously wound muscles found themselves relaxing at the statement, and lips curled upward in a comfortable smile.

"That makes two of us, then." Another sigh from Monika, though now it stemmed from a place of relief. Even with the intrigued look that crossed the other's expression.

"Really? I would have never guessed. Not because of your appearance, but—" That wasn't quite what she'd wanted to say, nor how. Shit. Her excitement got the better of her. "It was never mentioned by anybody."

Thankfully, Monika didn't seem to take offense to any potential—and notably accidental—insinuations. In fact, she laughed softly.

"Not many people know; I prefer it that way, personally. Of course, my old team knew. Medical staff. I think besides them, the only person I ever felt comfortable to tell was Doctor Pandey." A pause. "Until now, of course."

"That is… a lot of trust to put in a person." There was a shift in the operator's tone. A genuine surprise that broke through that cold, confident demeanor. Anja didn't think they were that close.

"I know. I trust you, that is why."

But she wasn't complaining. In fact, quite the opposite: She reveled in the fact. It meant that while Monika had broken through her walls, that she had also broken through Monika's. She still succeeded. They both did. And that brought a smile to her face. One that mirrored the one on her counterpart's.

"Is that so?" A genuine inquiry; an attempt to dissect how far that trust ran.

And Monika leaned into the attempt. Sat forward to sit her elbows on the table between them and rest her chin atop her palm as a blanket of comfort draped over her shoulders; caused her muscles to unwind and her posture to slump. All the while, that smile lingered on her lips.

"It is."

Today I was thinking about a villainous costume for Dean, but I didn't come up with anything sensible.

and I also thought it was funny that Dean's main color is red, and Hank is blue, like the guild and OSA

at first I thought he could be a chemist, you know, poisons, chemicals and stuff like that. Therefore, all the skin should be closed, something dense. Kind of like a wetsuit. But I thought that Dean would not walk in something so tight, and put on something over it. And also I wanted to combine the image of a mad scientist and elements of the classic suit that he usually wears. But this doesn’t out to be Dean’s vibe at all.

I think he is more suited to work within the guild, and not as an acting villain. Maybe even as Sheila's assistant, they have a sweet mentor-learner dynamic.

but then I thought he didn't have to be a scientist at all, right? He can also wear just a good suit like Blue Morpho or Widevale, Dean often wears suits in everyday life. And he could refer to Jonas Sr., but not be blue but red with stripes.

Sledge- Bi/Pan.

Thatcher- Omni? I mean, Thermtcher, but i feel like otherwise he's straight.

Ash- Aromantic lesbian. Didn't get into the Lesbian post bc I hate (most) Ash mains.

Thermite- Gay/Bi. I definitely ship Thermtcher, more because I find it funny than anything else.

Montange- Straight.

Twitch- Not sure? Like, I don't get Aro or Ace vibes from her, I'm not sure she'd be a lesbian, and I'm not sure she'd be straight, either. Maybe Demi...

Blitz- Heteroromantic Asexual. Sex-repulsed btw. Has a wifey who's the same :]

IQ- Lesbian, possibly aromantic.

Fuze- Omni, preferring women.

My controversial stance is that I see where lesbians are coming from when they say that only gold star lesbians are lesbians.

While I don’t think it’s THAT black and white, the more I think about it, the more I agree that you need to be attracted to somebody on some level to be able to have sex with them. The only exception I can think of is prostitution, but that isn’t sex, it’s rape.

I have a hard time imagining a woman who lacks attraction to men being able to pick a man to have sex with, go through with it, then do that multiple times. If attraction was lacking but she had internalised homophobia, wouldn’t she be coming up with every excuse in the book for why she’s saying no? Like “his vibes were just off, but surely I’ll find a man who’s right because I can’t be gay”.

Then I’ll see arguments about female socialisation, and how women are socialised to please men no matter what, and to believe that sex isn’t supposed to be pleasurable to us. And I agree with that…but I think we need to really question if socialisation can truly make a lesbian go against her natural sexuality, or if it would just make her feel more shame for finding herself incapable of living up to what a woman “should be”.

I also don’t like how demonised lesbians who believe only gold stars are lesbians are. People treat them like they’re evil exclusionary monsters…but I’ve heard that before in respect to lesbians saying that lesbians don’t like dick. When you look at the state of the lesbian community and how we have so many non-lesbians claiming to be us, and damaging our community…can you really blame some lesbians for being incredibly guarded? Is it really that evil for lesbians to feel they need a strict criteria for who’s gay and who isn’t (doesn’t matter if they’re right or wrong), after watching their community be completely infiltrated and heavily damaged by OSA people? I just find it interesting that people have all of the empathy in the world for women who say “I’ve had ten boyfriends who I really loved, but I’m a lesbian now!”…but absolutely no empathy for lesbians who are clearly responding to rising homophobia.

I think that the misuse of the term lesbian and the gender ideology infringement has increased the scrutiny we give to women who call themselves lesbian. It's not really a secret and I intend to put it in the video anyway, so-

I lost my virginity when I was 16 to a man who had groomed me since I was 12. My dad is a Catholic and when I came out to him, he said that I was going to hell and that if my brother turned out gay, that he would have to impregnate another woman because my mom was defective. I didn't want to come out. My mom said that either I told him or she would.

As I result, I did try dating men. I wanted so much to not be gay. I 'consented' a few times, but that was a desperate desire for my parents, my family to accept me.

I think that self harm in that manner is a big difference from other circumstances; the pressure of religion and culture to conform can't be overstated. But then where do you draw the line? How do you measure harm to prove sexuality? It's all an interesting conversation to me.
