Lancenstein - Halloween 2024

I'm hoping this is only the first of my Halloween pics this year, but at least I got one out, right? Generally speaking, I prefer to use a warmer skin tone for Lance, but... made of the stitched-together bodies of dead people, right? That's also why I didn't make his cheeks rosy at all. Also, he's meant to have neck bolts, but his chin rather hides his neck.

I think my favorite part might be that his eyes are two different shades of brown. 🥰 Runner up might be his electrode clamp earring.

Curtis and I went on a double-date with Keith and Lance to a giant arcade/activity/game center yesterday, and I'd just like to highlight some of my favorite parts.

>The trampoline park. I haven't been on a trampoline since I was maybe twelve. On the ride home, I shamelessly bought one online for Curtis and I. For some reason, it's incredibly easy for me to death drop on trampolines? Not sure why, but I was slaying in the live pic Keith took of me goofing off. We spent about an hour in there.

>Indoor go-karts! Keith lapped me (speed demon) and I (tw slur) called him a fag out of pure shock and betrayal. He laughed so hard he spun out right before pulling into the station.

>Outdoor go-karts! Lance was unfortunately struck with a badly timed anxiety spell, so he rode with Keith, and my god, that was so funny to see. Keith was pedal to the metal, foot to the floor the entire time, and he kept drifting around the turns in the track. Lance screamed like a little bitch about it, but he said he had a great time, and it helped snap him out of his head and back into the real world.

>Food! We all had ice cream and watched Toy Story 3 together. Keith and I shoved pizza down our gaping maws, whereas Curtis and Lance both had pasta. Carbs, either way.

We didn't actually go to the arcade, but when there's an entire trampoline park and TWO go-kart tracks, we really didn't give a shit. The trampoline I ordered should come in a few days :D I ❤️ vestibular stimming~~

Hongjoong - Dyna Blade

In Kirby Super Star Ultra, Dyna Blade is a huge colorful bird that will do anything to protect her children. You can fight her after fighting King Dedede in Spring Breeze. Hongjoong is similar to Dyna Blade since he'd do anything for his fellow bandmates kids. His hair has undergone so many color changes. I don't know how his scalp is holding up lol I'm surprised he hasn't pulled a Sehun yet. Only Yunho lol

Seonghwa - Dark Nebula

Originally, I had him for Dyna Blade since he was told he looked like an angry bird back in the days plus he's more motherly so it would make sense. However, I remember that his name roughly means to be a star and his name backwards means Mars. In relation to this galaxy themed thing we got going on here, I decided to choose Dark Nebula. Dark Nebula is the final boss in Kirby Squeak Squad. He's a huge black star with a single pink eye in the middle who gave Daroach ultimate power towards the end of the game. Seonghwa's long black hair is literally giving me life ever since I saw those Coachella pics and vids so I wouldn't be surprised if he put on pink eye contacts and cosplayed as his own version of Dark Nebula. Sometimes, even the brightest stars can suck you in.

Yunho - Void Termina

Void Termina is the final boss in Kirby Star Allies. I honestly had no context behind this other than the fact that Yunho is tall and big and scary only when he's mad though.

Yeosang - King Dedede

Yeosang literally looks like a fucking prince so it shouldn't be a suprise that he's King Dedede. I still remember that one video where he was able to hammer down a shit ton of nails in mere seconds. Homie is strong af so I'm sure he'll be able to swing around that huge hammer that Dedede has.

San - Marx/Marx Soul

Oof. I remember fighting Marx in Milky Way Wishes. He was this innocent little bean until he revealed his plans to control Pop Star and he turned demonic after that. This is literally San when you plant him on stage. Marx Soul is utterly fucking worse and I remember having major difficulty fighting him. I feel like demon mode San fits perfectly with Marx Soul. His stage presence is insane. Marx insane lol

Mingi - Galacta Knight

This motherfucker has had pink hair and now has white hair so I decided to put him as Galacta Knight. In addition, when I imagine Galacta Knight as a human, I envision a tall man with huge angel wings sticking out his back and the tips touching the floor, the white shield with the huge pink star in the middle roughly being the same size as Captain America's shield, the pink lance being larger than life, and the mask covering his entire face so you only see the sharp wolf eyes through that mask slit. Yeah I envision Mingi being the human version of Galacta Knight. Will he have his short pink hair or long white hair though? It's up to the imagination ig lol

Wooyoung - Kirby

You cannot fucking tell me that this man is the personification of Kirby. He's just a sweet boy with a huge damn mouth. He is softness and cuteness personified. The only difference is that he doesn't inhale everything in his path. He only screams. Maybe he can inhale San's di-

Jongho - Meta Knight

Ngl, I originally thought of Mingi being Meta Knight since he's my ult and Meta Knight is my favorite Kirby character of all time. However, I remember playing Meta Knightmare Ultra and this one scene popped up. Galacta Nova asked Meta Knight what his one wish was and of course, in true lone swordsman fashion, Meta Knight answered that he only wishes to grow stronger. In that Vanity Fair video, Jongho revealed that he was born with power and as he talked, he exuded that damn power. That's when I knew that he was more fit for Meta Knight rather than Mingi. Also, now I'm imagining Jongho as the human version of Meta Knight with his lilac hair and hands gripping Galaxia (the name of Meta Knight's gold sword) with that 49.1 kg strength, and piercing yellow eyes through the mask. In addition, I now want Jongho to dye his hair an indigo color since technically, Meta Knight's Kirby form is indigo colored in the DS version of the Kirby games.

has anyone asked you about favorite (underrated?) helmets yet? ive been drooling over lance's am helmets lately i feel like no one ever talks about them -fujispeedway

oh yes @fujispeedway we can 1000000% talk about underrated helmets!!!

I also absolutely LOVE Lance's Aston Martin helmets, the 2021-2023 designs are my personal favourites both for the all over British Racing Green and the big Aston Martin wings on either side. It's such a sleek design that's executed brilliantly. (Pics below are Lance's helmets from 2021, 2022 and 2023 - all a 10/10 for me).

Of the three the 2023 design is my favourite, but I love the creativity of the 2022 helmet in creating the Aston wings out of matte paint and neon lime accents. It's super clever!

I have an unbelievably silly amount of helmets in my helmet tag so I just know I'm going to forget some (and it's almost after half past 11 at night for me so my brain will not be braining as much - I will probably end up doing a part 2 for this).

Gonna put this under a read more to avoid dash clogging.

Lewis Hamilton - 2020 pre-season testing

Do I think Lewis was absolutely spot on in switching his helmet design to purple and black for the 2020 season? Yes. Do I miss what we could have had in this beautiful white and purple variant? Also yes. (Deep deep down, I do hope this is the route he goes for his first Ferrari helmet next year).

Purple just is Lewis' helmet colour to me, and the big splashes of white with hints of baby pink is just soooooooooo pretty. This helmet looked stunning with the silver W11 Mercedes livery and I think it would have looked gorgeous with the black livery too.

10/10 no notes.

Sebastian Vettel - Singapore 2017

Seb's Singapore helmet designs literally. never. missed. Sadly I think his 2017 design gets forgotten about because of... well... the events of the race start. But to move on very swiftly, I think this design does not get talked about enough. The reflective detailing is really fun and looks just as gorgeous as all the sparkly helmets under the circuit floodlights, and it gets a bonus point for the yellow to red to pink shift matching perfectly with both the German flag on Seb's helmet and the 2017 Ferrari livery.

Again, 10/10 no notes.

Michael Schumacher - Belgium 2011

A lot of F1 drivers do have very iconic helmet designs. But will they ever be Michael Schumacher wearing a helmet decorated with actual 21 carat gold levels of iconic? No.

(I do want to include a video about how this helmet was made bc it's just so mesmerising to watch.)

This design was created and ran in honour of Michael's 20th anniversary in F1, which he celebrated at Spa - the scene of his first ever F1 race and maiden victory.

And it's sexy as hell. 10/10.

Jenson Button - Great Britain 2014

In honour of his father Johnathan, who traditionally always wore a pink button up shirt on race days when supporting Jenson and passed away at the start of 2014, Jenson ran his helmet design in a bright pink colourway for the British GP - which also featured a pink shirt wearing Papa Smurf (a frequently used nickname for Jenson's Dad).

I was super lucky to be at Silverstone for the race weekend in 2014, and you could always know when Jenson was on track because the super bright shade of pink was impossible to miss. And it also looked gorgeous with McLaren's chrome silver and black livery that year.

As a tribute, it's very beautiful. And a helmet I always remember fondly.

Zhou Guanyu - Abu Dhabi 2022

I'm not kidding when I say that I think about this helmet design at least once a week. It's probably every two days at the very least.

So, I have the heart of a marshmallow. I am incredibly mushy and sentimental, therefore anything slightly mushy and sentimental makes me go all gooey and weepy.

Esteban's helmet for Silverstone not only featured the names of every single employee at both the Alpine factory in Enstone and and the Renault Powertrains factory in Viry-Châtillon - but the top of the helmet also included the co-ordinates of both factories. Very mushy, very sentimental. It's just lovely.

The blue gradient is also very pretty. 10/10.

I always love writing him and writing him and Lando whether it's Unexpected au, Hangover au, Pro Dom, Tattoo Artist Lando. I just love writing their dynamic and haven't really written much for them in the last while.

I've don some digging, and I found this from Unexpected au from the Wedding fic I was writing but has been left in my WIP pile!

Overwhelmed by affection, Lance left the food be once more and made his way back to Lando. He cupped his cheeks in his hands gently and kissed him once more. Sighing softly as Lando’s fingers hooked into his belt loops and pulled him closer, mouth opening under Lance’s as they kissed. “You’re going to be my husband”, Lance breathed against his lips, smiling as Lando nipped at his bottom lip. “And you’re going to be mine”, Lando grinned, pulling back to press a series of kisses across his cheek and jaw. “Even if you have to google what peonies are and deal with Chloe steamrolling our wedding?”, Lance teased, thumbs brushing Lando’s cheekbones and laughing when the other’s breath tickled his palm as he turned his head to press a kiss there. “Even then. Perhaps the MOST surprising pick for me. Is Lando hot??????????? I've been asking myself this for months......he also seems to be entering his fashion girl era. (FINALLY!!!) He was pictured in an Aimé sweatshirt (A JUMPA for ur english and former english colony folk) so i have high hopes. Maybe I'm just seduced by his Dutch battle scars but he really came thru today. at first i thought he was in miyake and i was literally going to go BALD. but its not :( the brand is basically an even more expensive Zara lmao but...baby steps lol

When Kevin Jz Prodigy chants 'eating the old way! serving the old way! serving the old way!', they meant that about grandpa stunting in head to toe WAG white. he's got the youthful shoes, casual polo with the dad fit, linen trousers for the swap weather. its classic. reminding all the wags who the real bad bitch is.

The media is doing him sooo dirty by not showing the back of his jersey!! its not my favorite look he's ever done but it's only media day. i think he looks great in red and i love the blackletter font on the back. I do wish the front was a little cuter but his pants are really cool (sorry theyre cropped out lol) and he's still giving personality and taste!

P6: OSCAR PIASTRI

ok yes he does have the 6th grade boy who's still close with his mother fit on under the jersey but he's always stayed true to who he is. i like that he's worn jerseys to races/race locations he seems excited about like he wore one in Melbourne for his home race. AND this one is signed?! he came with a goal in mind and it was to GAG the fellow jocks at the paddock. jock4jock if you will. gotta respect it.

P7: YUKI TSUNODA

it's a basic serve but a serve nonetheless. he's comfy, he's casual and looks good. i like this color on him a lot and the contrast between the pink and red is fun. hair is looking super good too!!! this is gonna be a good weekend for him, i'm demanding it from the universe!!

P8: VALTERRI BOTTAS & LANCE STROLL

A tie because they're both just on the diva in a tee vibe. You can't blame a comfort queen for being one! The color is nice on Lance and Val is sporting that farm's tan well.

I don't think anyone is surprised he's wearing his own merch. It would be better for me if it was a little more interesting than his last few releases of just his brand's logo but I like the color and detailing. He's, of course, wearing the wrong size. Personally, if i were trying to promote my own brand, I would perfect tailor the shirt to fit my body so it looked like the best shirt i've ever worn. The Purse by Dre is probably the best part if only because its so stupid and useless. The cargo pants....look, as a former fan, I know that he prefers to dress in baggier clothes. I'm not knocking him for that--who doesn't love a billowing tee to hide the body tea but when you're a 35 year old millionaire...why do your pants not fit you. This is saggy crotch and diaper butt territory. From a styling perspective, sometimes wearing oversized clothes only makes you look smaller. Like you're drowning in your own clothes. That's what it always looks like to me with DR. I know he's interested in fashion and yeah maybe he is still on my shit list but for someone of his status and with the level of resources he has at his disposal...like this man went to the MET GALA with an actually good nEW YORK BASED DESIGNER. what is this...CHOPPPPP

Pidge!! Going to be real i have a lot of mixed feelings about her. Like when i started watching vld she was my favourite but over time she started to bore me, and now i barely think about her

I personally dont think Keith and Pidge would have get along. And the reason is that they are too similar. Like i said Pidge has canon foot-in-mouth disease, and Keith can be extremely sensitive especially about certain topics. Keith was also hypocritical in how he yelled at Pidge for wanting to leave the team to save her family, only to ditch team later on repeatedly to the point they almost got killed. Plus neither of them are emotionally mature enough to understand they are similar and the other person is going through the same things they are. Sometimes same people repel each other

Frederick's hair is such ridiculous kind of style but he's the embodiment of Plaid 'Princes' hair joined to be one... And not only from the hair color from his father. I just realize recently!

Lance: base of the hair around the skull line, and near the ear

Leland: that 'upwoosh thing' that make his hair permanently cowlicked - come from the Plaid King but for Frederick he only has a part of hair that raise unlike all of the hair

🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction?

I started reading fanfics in middle school during the initial Twilight Craze (I was a MASSIVE Twi-hard). I would talk out ideas for twilight fanfics, but I never wrote them down. Fast forward to 2022, and I started beta reading for A Court of Scars and Shadows and it inspired me to write my own. I started with a headcanon that was stuck in my head FOREVER (one of Tamlin hearing that Feyre almost dies during childbirth and he rushes to Velaris to see her, only to see her alive and happy and genuinely fulfilled with life. It was a story of closure for him). Then I had an idea for FM2M, and the rest was history <3

🍇How many fandoms have you written in?

Just the SJM fandom for now. I might write some Blue/lance stuff if I am so inclined, but I have my hands full with FM2M and the subsequent spin off fics for now.

🍎Do you read or write more fanfiction?

It depends. I have a few fics that I keep up with religiously, and there are some that I will just sit and read. I have times where I am in the mode and I write. Sometimes I will read some of my inspo fics again (Mostly ACoFD by @the-lonelybarricade and There You are by SweetVillianDarlingGod). It just depends lol

🍌What is one way you've improved as a writer?

I feel like I am learning how to express my characters emotions better. I recently re-read my first fic I wrote and then read FM2M, and I saw a big difference in the sentence structures and how I worded things. I wanted to write FM2M because I wanted to hash out my writing style before setting out on writing my original WIP.

🍑Do you have any bad habits as a writer?

I have WEEKS where I do not open a doc and barely think of writing.

🍉What's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

I love them all, but honestly the super long and detailed ones of people seeing the metaphors that I put in and they put in quotes in the comments. They are my absolute favorite and it makes my day to see them.

🍋What is something you've been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?

ooooh. ummmmmm, I am nervous to write LGBTQ+ couples, however that is just because of my lack of personal experience and I don't want to portray the dynamics wrong. I am excited to write Mor and Emerie to help me ease into writing more LGBTQ charaters :)

After I finished ACOSF, I read the bonus chapter and was HOOKED on Az and Gwyn. I started looking up pics of them and immediately became obsessed. I read a few fanfics and that was it, they were the love of my life. I toyed with a few different usernames, but i thought this would be a fun and cute one :)

🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction?

As a teen I was a voracious reader and tried to write my own stuff based on other books I'd read. I also loved ST:TNG and wanted dearly to be in an episode and had lots of the books. I wrote my own ST stories with OC's (gratuitous self inserts), but they never went anywhere. In my late teens I read some Xena fanfic on the internet. But that was it for a great number of years.

At the beginning of 2021 I sat and watched the entirety of the MCU films in chronological order (I'd seen most of them before and was mainly a Thor gal.) I fell down the Stucky rabbithole. Deep. I decided to look up fanfic. AO3 was now a thing! I wrote (a very poor) Stucky fic and here we are, almost 3 years later

🍇How many fandoms have you written in?

As my ST stuff never made it further than my parent's old PC in the days of dial-up, I won't count it.

I've written for MCU, various Chris Evans and Seb Stan Characters and one fic for RWRB. I've been toying with writing a one-off Criminal Minds fic as a gift for a friend.

🍈How many years have you been writing fanfiction?

Three in July since I first published anything on AO3.

🍎Do you read or write more fanfiction?

I try to balance it out. If I have a period of hyperfocus writing I try to then go through a period of reading. I read on both Tumblr and AO3, so try to keep that even as well.

🍌What is one way you've improved as a writer?

Getting betas to pick me up on tense changes, overuse of words and rogue commas. Reading more. Practising. Writing outlines for longer stories so I don't go off-piste.

🍑Do you have any bad habits as a writer?

Getting bored half-way through a long fic, especially if the first few parts haven't had a lot of interaction. Which is why I try to write the whole thing before I start posting.

🍍 What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?

Engineering courses at MIT and, for a separate fic, Violet wands, including the ways to use them and the differnt types of accessories you can use with them. I even watched a Youtube video.

Any comment! Anything that gives me the validation I need!

��What's the most fringe trope/topic you write about?

I wrote a transformation into Tsum-tsum fic that was both cracky and smutty. That's pretty niche.

Action scenes. I loathe them. I'm constantly wondering if they are long enough, and make sense.

Short things that are either PWP or fluffy slices of life.

🍑Where do you do your writing? What platform? When?

Mainly on my elderly laptop on G-Docs, and in every moment I can - normally afterwork before dinner and on Mondays when I don't have work.

There are a few characters and ships I haven't written that I'd like to. And I suppose I'd like to write a proper long, over 100k fic at some point.
