ty for the tag @gunfucked !! music rambling below
i’m so uncomfortable tagging ppl because i don’t want to be annoying so... feel free to do this if you want to !!!
who was your first favorite artist?
my teenage years were spent thirsting for trent reznor and angsting to nine inch nails
who are your current favorites?
the weeknd, laurel, son lux, florence + the machine, hans zimmer, lord huron, mitski. idk this is hard for me bc it’s rare i end up liking everything an artist creates, and i tend to bounce around drastically.
are you into musicals? which ones/why not?
fun if they’re not cringe (see: hamilton). hope that helps!
ok but real talk: phantom of the opera is my undying love, fell in love with the objectively mediocre but subjectively fun and sexy gerard butler movie, then saw it live for my 13th birthday and again in new york. traumatized kids will really be like *relates to the phantom and cries every time*
also, phantom of the paradise... if you know you know, and if you don’t, please watch asap. les mis, chicago and wicked are all quite good too. overall musicals are not really my first choice bc i get second-hand embarrassment very easily but they’re ok once in awhile. my tolerance for cringefail is low and unfortunately a lot of musicals are very much cringefail.
are there songs you consider so special you only listen to them very rarely?
yea... third eye (florence + the machine)
what’s your preferred way of listening to music? (time of day, medium, situation)
i like to study or work on assignments with chillhop/jazzhop/instrumental playlists, typically with headphones on. i absolutely cannot think about anything else while playing songs with lyrics so i only play lyrical tunes when i’m doing non-brain tasks, drawing or making graphics. genre is whatever, if it slaps then it slaps
what would you say is the most niche music you listen to?
oldies, babey!
what’s your favourite music related movie/tv show that’s not a musical?
does the pianist count??? swing kids?? velvet goldmine????? idk
albums or playlists?
literally too many external and internal factors to give a straight answer. depends on the context and how i feel and the alignment of the planets on that particular day and
favourite albums?
how big, how blue, how beautiful (florence + the machine), high as hope (florence + the machine), diamond dogs (david bowie), rumours (fleetwood mac), dogviolet (laurel), the suburbs (arcade fire), after hours (the weeknd), my dear melancholy (the weeknd), animals (pink floyd), trouble will find me (the national), masse mensch material (rome), lanterns (son lux), the fragile (nine inch nails), shallow bed (dry the river), am (arctic monkeys), dragonslayer (sunset rubdown), wasteland, baby! (hozier), pure heroine (lorde), cannibals with cutlery (to kill a king) dune & blade runner 2049 (hans zimmer), so many video game and movie osts
is there an artist you’re trying to get into?
nah bro i’m just here to vibe
whose music do you find overhyped?
kpop, t-swift, most of the radio darlings even though i don’t mind their music - it’s all just very formulaic, empty in a late capitalist way. also fuck the beatles forever and for all time.
what’s an underrated song?
literally anything laurel does... life worth living changed my life
what’s a thing a bunch of songs do that you love every time?
whatever the weeknd has going on in my dear melancholy... yea. send tweet
what song is better acoustic?
i generally find acoustic covers really uncomfortable in a secondhand embarrassment kind of way but i can tolerate iron (woodkid)
what’s the worst song of all time?
idk about all time, but stressed out by twenty one pilots gives me homicidal urges. congrats you made the most annoying, soul sucking song of all time about our annoying, soul sucking reality.
do you put individual songs on repeat? if so, for how long and how often?
yes and until i physically cannot listen anymore w/o becoming ill. usually its because of ~character feelings~
do you make your own playlists? if so, what’s your most entertaining playlist title?
i have many playlists and none of them are for entertainment, they are all the auditory equivalent of self-flagellation over ocs or my favourite sad boys.
i think hypokeimenon is my all-time favourite but like... all of my daud playlists slap. the triumphant fall is next but only two people on my blog care about an obscure lore character from destiny 2 and i’m both of them
headphones or earbuds?
headphones at home, airpods at work
do you always sing the lead vocal or do you harmonize sometimes? if you harmonize, do you ever invent your own harmony?
oh girl i don’t understand anything about music. it’s like modern alchemy to me. harmonize deez nuts
a musical confession
people who only listen to one genre are freaks

wait I think I agree not today is really bad but now rank all their title tracks from best to worst pls
lmaoohdksjjdjf i love this question so much anon but due to the fact that i’m me this would get way WAY too long. so i’m doing the top 5 best title tracks and then top 5 worst ones okay? i’m looking at google and apparently they have 26 korean singles so yeah that’s too much.
to rank them as objectively as possible I'm gonna try to take into account gp impact (which is not the same as chart impact since the fandom inflates those numbers), production, creative value (how innovative/different from other pop songs was it?) and the concept of the music video/aesthetic in general.
BTS TITLE TRACKS: TOP 5
5. Black Swan (2020)
am I cheating by putting here a pre release single? maybe. but it would be a disservice to leave this one out so bear with me
⭐gp impact: this song made more noise as a pre release single than the title track. I saw it in at least 3 end of the year editorials for best kpop songs of 2020. and the thing is it could have been WAY bigger but a lot of stuff happened that sadly made it go away too soon. I don't think this one is as famous or recognizable as the others in this list which is why it's going last, but also I think this song is the most underrated gem in bts discography so it's still going here.
⭐production: this song beat out the front runners (I need u, save me, DNA) solely because of its production. there are not a lot of kpop songs out there that manage to pull off what this song does. it's powerful, it's nostalgic, it's a dark and sexy song without being too on the nose. the mixing is SUPERB I remember the first time I heard it I thought "this would blow the fuck up if it was a Travis Scott song" and I will DIE on that hill. this is an example of heavy autotune on a song done right, not like the rest of their super autotuned songs that sometimes come out unrecognizable and empty sounding.
⭐creative value: it's not truly a new concept in pop to make a song about the Death of the Artist. it’s also not something a rookie group can do, this song needed to be released at exactly the time in bts’ career that it was. there’s just no emotional impact if you just sing about how the music makes your hear beat and you’ve been in the industry for,,, 3 years. this is the type of Swan Song you release at the peak of your career, so that really contributes to the message. mixing a trap beat with a ballet motif is GALAXY BRAIN SHIT.
⭐️concept: the ballet influence is just beautifully executed, this song is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship on all fronts. i think they could literally build an entire ALBUM off this concept, so the fact that they jampacked it onto one single song is both amazing and a little sad for me. i wanna hear more of this. i want a literal Black Swan (the darren aranofsky movie) horror concept where the protagonist falls prey to his own madness because he strives for perfection. but yeah, the song itself and the orchestral version just make this a complete golden concept in my book.
4. IDOL (2018).
⭐️gp impact: i think a lot of people that didn’t know anything about kpop vaguely knew about this song when it was released. i know i wasn’t into kpop at all but in my pop culture circle there was a small bleep from this song bc of the concept and the dance. i think it’s a great “embassador of kpop” track, like if you wanna explain to someone with no previous knowledge what kpop is about you can show them a performance of this song.
⭐️production: the production is a little all over the place for me. the instrumentals are amazing and really creative tho, but like in terms of mixing vocals and the structure of it, it might be a little too grating. it’s not the best produced song in ly: answer by any means but it still makes it work
⭐️creative value: the whole hanbok thing is a 10/10. bts weren’t the first ones to do it, but they did it in such a tightly executed way that honestly that “classic korean roots meets the edgy western feel” concept belongs to them now. groups are still recreating it. it’s a really innovative concept in general.
⭐️concept: the music video is,,,, something. you might love it or hate it, but it’s memorable. i think the purposeful way in which they made it as loud and brilliant as possible can be taken either as a camp adjacent or just as the group going nuts with the budget, which props to them. the choreography is also a BIG plus. the south african influence is really well executed and they made sure to do it as cultural appreciation and not appropriation. definitely the most memorable thing from this song is the choreo
3. Run (2015).
⭐️gp impact: this was their second song to have a music show win. it was the lead single from hyyh pt2 and honestly it might be the best song off hyyh as a whole. it cemented bts as not just another kpop group, because it made non fans turn their heads too! from what i gather this really propelled them forward and made the fanbase grow a lot.
⭐️production: hyyh pt2 is super well produced. i feel like this song in particular makes a fine job of mixing the vocals but it’s not outstanding. the best part is the instrumentals. but overall it’s a really good song with amazing lyrics and a great melody.
⭐️creative value: this built off of what they did with pt1 so they were already in a comfortable place, when they found this sound they really explored it well and deep and it works! i’m glad they went this emo pop route because it was a good contrast to what was dominating the charts in kpop in 2015.
⭐️concept: the aesthetic is PERFECT. there’s not a single other thing that i could add or that i wanted gone. it’s the perfect mix of coming of age teen film and heartfelt, dreamy pop. the music video is by no surprises the favorite mv of a lot of the fandom. the cinematography is beautiful and the song and the video perfectly capture that fleeting moment in life when you’re in the brink of adulthood.
2. Mic Drop (2017).
⭐️gp impact: this song was the first bts song to chart on the billboard hot100. back when the fandom had no idea how to chart, mass buy etc. that’s enough said. (personally i think mic drop is the quintessential bts song and their best release so the fact that i’m not putting it first should count as something).
⭐️production: for the purposes of this ranking i’m using the original mic drop and not the steve aoki remix even tho it was the steve remix that was released as the single. the song has the BEST mastering i’ve heard in kpop. the transitions are flawless, the beat is pure fire, the entire first minute is literally the hardest hype rap i’ve heard in kpop. everything about it WORKS.
⭐️creative value: it’s kinda funny how this song got released the same year as kendrick lamar’s humble, because imho it’s the best hiphop song of that year after humble. 2017 was truly the year of the diss tracks. bonus points for including it right after the billboard acceptance speech skit in ly: answer. SUPER refreshing among the ed sheeran type of pop that dominated that year.
⭐️concept: it’s a great concept but not innovative by any means. still, it works and bts managed to exploit it to the max. the choreo, the mv, the styling, everything was amazing!
1. Blood, Sweat & Tears (2016).
⭐️gp impact: it's probably the first song to put bts on the map beyond the kpop sphere. it really set the tone for their 2017. it's one of their most famous and recognizable songs to date.
⭐️production: this song is STUNNINGLY arranged. the mix, the ambience, the progression,,, it's all brought together to make a very well crafted song. it has a distinctive electronic/pop sound to it that still manages to set itself apart from the trend that was going at the time. black swan is probably the closet single they have to this in terms of production.
⭐️creative value: the song itself is very in compliance with the 2015/2016 trend of hype songs with edm influence, (ie. closer, shape of you, cheap thrills, let me love you, something just like this, etc.) but it still packs that punch that makes it sound fresh even for 2021.
⭐️concept: it wasn't the first song to sound like this in kpop ofc but it was the first truly sexy concept for bts. the aesthetic is innovative and very well thought out, the mv is amazing and the choreography too. i read somewhere that j-hope had a lot of input for this choreo so that's amazing. also blond taehyung is literally the best thing to come out of big hit.
WORST BTS TITLE TRACKS
ok so here we go with the worst ones! this is in ascending order as i prepare myself to pick the worst of them all, but please remember this isn’t meant to be mean spirited, i am simply applying the same criteria to their most underwhelming songs but that doesn’t mean they don’t have their own merit! it’s just that out of 26 singles, SOME of them have got to come out at the bottom right?
5. Life Goes On (2020)
⭐gp impact: this song is not memorable with the general public, its #1 on the bb was the product of mass buying and even though it's a feel good song made to comfort fans in the times of pandemic it's still bland and boring. I think it had no music show appearances either, and as far as bts ballads go this is just bottom tier. it’s not that it’s terrible, it’s just very underwhelming
⭐production: the autotune in this song is very poorly executed, it doesn't add to the song the way black swan does for example. it's just off putting and the melody is really forgettable. it's funny bc the chorus is directly pulled from the 2018 reggaeton super hit "La Canción" by J Balvin and Bad bunny lmaooo 💀 so I can't get that out of my head either. the structure is just fine and has nothing of substance
⭐creative value: the song is attempts to be a heartfelt acoustic song but it really has nothing that sets it apart from other songs product of the pandemic like Justin and ariana's stuck with u. for a song in a self produced album it's the song with the least input from the group. the lyrics are good, but they're not as sincere or groundbreaking as for example Spring day.
⭐concept: as a ballad ofc I'm not expecting it to have a grand choreography, and the mv being filmed in their personal dorms to reflect the lockdown is actually a nice touch but besides that there is nothing exciting, innovative or even sincerely comforting about the song and the concept. the greatest thing abt it is the fact that jk directed the video, which is actually pretty good.
4. We are bulletproof pt 2 (2013)
⭐gp impact: this song made no noise back in the day and to this day its just beloved by the fandom due to a sense of nostalgia and "remembering bts' roots". don't get me wrong it's amazing that bts still perform it in the year of our lord 2020 because you can't forget where you came from, but it's not a good or memorable song by any means.
⭐production: I went back to listen to it for this and oh god. I can't remember the mixing being THIS bad. jimin, jin and taehyung sound exceptionally bad, they don't sound like themselves especially jin. it's just a really poorly mastered song, but then again the rest of their debut album isn't far better.
⭐creative value: this is straight up ripping off early 2000s black culture from the US. not only the music, the styling for this era in general is unfortunately really bad and culturally appropriating and overall it's a mess.
⭐concept: there is nothing of substance to be said about this song. it's just really a miss. the mv is terrible, the only thing that can be salvaged from this is the choreography, but besides that the whole thing feels sloppy, rushed and is also kinda cringey.
3. N.O. (2013)
⭐gp impact: no noise. this song was just a really weird pick for their first comeback when attack on bangtan or coffee was right there. not to be mean but no wonder they didn't have a music win this year.
⭐production: it's an objectively bad song. it's just really underwhelming, the whole mixing feels amateur. it's not a good hiphop song and it's not a good vocal arrangement and the chorus is also a rip off of a late 90s American song I can't find right now
⭐creative value: this song isn't innovative in any way, it's just..... there. very meh in general, I have nothing more to say about it
⭐concept: the storyline kinda wants to go somewhere with the music video but it doesn't manage to make a connection. the styling is plain, simple and not flattering at all. it tries to make a protest of the Korean school system but it doesn't say anything beyond "school bad" which we already knew
2. Not Today (2017)
⭐gp impact: its a very middle of the list song for a lot of the fandom. I literally know of no one that claims this as their favorite mv/era/song. when you ask people about their least favorite bts songs they won't mention this one either, you know why? because it's that irrelevant. it had no music show wins either. it's precisely because of this why I put it so high up on the list. there's nothing worse than an unmemorable song, if it was widely hated then at least that would be a response.
⭐production: it's a really mediocre song in terms of structure and melody. it tried to be hype but it falls short. the chorus feels half finished and the message of the song is just “the revolution has begun”? which okay? but it adds nothing to the You never walk alone album either.
⭐creative value: there is nothing exciting about this song, and the chorus is too grating. the rhythm is repetitive and nothing new either in kpop or pop in general.
⭐concept: sadly there's not a lot to be said for the song. it says nothing of value and what it says falls flat. there's no innovation. you can actually see a lot of idol in this song, and also ON. those two songs are what this one tried to be but failed.
1. War of Hormone (2014)
⭐gp impact: thankfully none. this song got the treatment it deserved, if they had won a music show for this one it would feel tainted lol. now it's just a meme in the fandom but overall it made zero noise and contributed nothing to bts' evolution
⭐production: the production is very lazy, which is odd because dark & wild has some pretty tight tracks. but this one is just meh, nothing outstanding and the melody is just annoying
⭐creative value: this is a song that was probably born out of the desperation to have a gp friendly hit. it tries really hard to replicate an outdated idea of what boy bands should be, and it does it badly. simply put this song is very mediocre and misogynistic and the fact that it's a running gag in the fandom that "feminism isn't important when war of hormone comes on" isn't funny and it's actually cringe. please stop
⭐concept: the styling is so ugly :( the mv is very low budget which isn't surprising but they managed to make more with less in past releases. it's just embarrassing and I wish this song didn't exist, there's a reason why they never play it anymore lol. overall a dark mistake in bts' career

Road to Kingdom Episode 4 Thoughts
Tumblr media
The third challenge was for each group to pick one of their own songs and perform it. I really wish RTK stuck with the “king” theme, but I guess there are only so many challenges they can create revolving that topic.
DISCLAIMER: I am a lot harsher in this review than any of my other posts. Please know that I do not hate any of the 7 groups and I truly wish the best for all of them. This is just an analysis of the most recent performances.
Anyways onto my rankings!
Enjoyment ranking:
Pentagon (Wow! For once it’s not TBZ haha)
Verivery
The Boyz
Oneus
ONF
TOO
Golden Child
Objective Ranking:
Verivery
The Boyz
Pentagon
ONF
Oneus
Golden Child
TOO
Prediction rankings:
Pentagon
The Boyz
Verivery
ONF
Oneus
TOO
Golden Child
Put a prediction ranking bc the rankings haven’t been announced yet so we will see tomorrow!
For the first time in forever, TBZ is not first in my book. Shocker I know. That’s not to say that I didn’t like their performance or concept but rather the other groups (PTG and Verivery) did better in my eyes. Let’s talk about TBZ’s Reveal (Catching Fire) perf. I’ll call it RCF for short. TBZ was the only group to continue a story from the second challenge. This gains major points in my book as I love plot driven performances. Anything with a story or clear objective gains brownie points because it’s what makes performances an art. You can dance to a song but if there’s no emotion it stays as a sport rather than a form of artistic expression. TBZ have shown their artistry fully through RTK, something they haven’t really been able to do before. I’m amazed at how they are able to control shock factor so well. I was worried the stunts of Danger would outshine whatever they had to show in RCF but they proved me wrong. There were less stunts this time but they focused on a much larger picture (pun intended). They added backup dancers and allowed the camera to take wider shots to show their formations. I just felt like they lacked a spark this time. If you can’t already tell, I prefer their Danger performance much more. A large part of this is due to the arrangement of Danger. The RCF arrangement was interesting and refreshing but there wasn’t anything really new. Maybe I feel this way because I’ve listened to Reveal too many times who knows. Negatives aside, I have to say I really liked the choreography changes. The part where Haknyeon is center really blew my mind.
But here’s why I liked Verivery and Pentagon’s performance more: emotion. Pentagon’s is obvious, they used this stage to send off someone they really love. You can really see that the members love Jinho and that they have a deep bond. Pentagon was also the only group to mix two of their songs together, one being a title track and one being a side track (note: PTG and Verivery are the only groups who picked side b’s for their song). Pentagon’s arrangement was impeccable. For me, the new Shine sounded like a Jpop song (mostly because of the rock vibes; if you listen to Jpop you know what I mean), while still retaining the bright theme of Shine. A lot of people might say the performance was too emotional and not professional, but out of all 7 performances, Pentagon’s was the most meaningful and was delivered the best. The message and how they played with the stage was stunning and their little additions and references to other popular Kpop songs makes it so you will notice something new every time you rewatch it. Please watch this video where Hongseok goes into detail about the little easter eggs and the whole purpose behind their performance. I have so much respect for Pentagon and I could write so much more about this performance but I must talk about the other 5 haha (if you want to hear more feel free to ask!)
Verivery. VERIVERY. God DAMN did they really come back and hit hard. They definitely had the clearest and most well thought out performance of all. What differentiates them from TBZ’s story like performance is that TBZ had too much going on in my opinion. They tried to tell us a long story with not enough time. This is why so many fans have vastly different interpretations of their performance. While this can often be a good thing, I think you have to find a balance when doing a storytelling performance. Verivery cleanly executes their narrative of a nightmare and takes the cliche of “it was all a dream” to the max by going “SIKE” at the end. Their choreography was so well planned out and they were honestly very minimalistic about their stage, just like TBZ’s Danger stage. The shock factor is just right (my favorite part being when the backup dancers have the smoke come out of their mouth). Not only that but Photo is a SIDE TRACK. I cannot stress enough how brave of them that is. I legitimately thought it was a title track until I looked at their discography. They arranged their side b to sound like a title track, and not only that, they changed the overall feel of the song as well. If you listen to the original Photo, it sounds more like a bad boy song, but their RTK version is very much so horror/rock themed. I can’t STRESS how good this performance is. Especially because it’s such a contrast from their last performance. Photo is now in my spotify playlist and I have no regrets.
Now onto the last 4 performances. I hate to break it to you all but... I didn’t really like any of them. None of them made me think “wow I could rewatch this so many times.” Lets start with Oneus. LIT is my favorite Oneus song so I highly anticipated this performance. If you didn’t know Oneus before and only watch this stage you might think its a very good stage with a strong traditional theme. I totally agree, the traditional theme is unique to Oneus and I loved the instrumental changes they made so the song would cater more to their theme. The biggest issue I had with this stage was that It literally is just like their music video. If you have seen the LIT mv you will know what I mean. The dragon dance, traditional clothing, theme, sound, everything was too similar. The stage was grand but it just felt like a live version of their MV.
I know a lot of people liked ONF’s performance. Let me just say first that they killed it and YooA was *chefs kiss* The biggest issue I had with this stage was its message and theme. They seemed to have a conductor/medieval theme but also the masks?? Like what? It felt so out of place and random. I felt like a lot of their stage choices had little to no purpose. I honestly still don’t understand why YooA was there. The duet dance was nice but why? It seemed like they were trying to tell a story but it just wasn’t clear to me. It looked nice and everything but that was about it. In no way am I saying the performance was bad, it’s just there’s nothing that makes me want to go back and watch again. I think the fact that there was a plot but no plot at the same time really bothered me and that’s why I didn’t like it as much.
TOO has grown a lot since episode one. They are truly experimenting with the stage and I’m very happy to see that. I have the same issue with TOO as I did with ONF. There was a clear theme of “dark vs light” or “evil vs good” but why? What was the point? The theme may have seemed obvious but was it really? Were they trying to convey good vs bad, angel vs devil, justice vs injustice? I couldn’t tell throughout the entire performance. It’s okay to take cliche themes but with a show like RTK, there needs to be something more. I also hate to be harsh but some of their execution just wasn’t as clean. This doesn’t only apply to Chan (I think that’s his name), but the whole performance in general. The most obvious instance is the head twist part. But I applaud Chan for performing with 100% even after his mistake (which, by the way, he made look very natural. I was very sad when he kept beating himself up over the mistake 😞 you did great bb I hope you know that). Even if their age and lack of experience is shown in their performances, I must say they are really stepping out of their comfort zone and learning at a rapid pace. I have high hopes for them.
Now onto the last group. Golden Child. I was very impressed with GolChas first two performances but this one was a disappointment. I appreciate the use of strings and their classical arrangement (as I said in my previous episode thoughts post) but this performance was, well, dull to say the least. The only “shock factor” was the violin solo (which was very good btw), but I think it was too late into the performance. There wasn’t much that made me interested in the performance up to that point. I don’t know. There really just isn’t much for me to talk about because they didn’t really do much.(God that sounds so harsh;; I’m sorry 😭😭) I really think their second performance was highly underrated but all in all this third one was not it.
As you can see my critiques for this set of performances are, well, a lot harsher. I think it’s because the bar was raised so much higher after the first three episodes. Overall, if I had seen any of these performances outside of the RTK context I probably would have been a lot more impressed and shocked. I wish the best for all the groups and no matter who gets eliminated tomorrow I want all the groups to know that they all deserve a spot in the Kingdom. Mnet is just trash.

1. Your first BTS song
Dope.
It was way back in 2017 when I became a kpop fan for the first time. I was curious to see who BTS were so my sister showed me the music video of Dope in her phone and later did I realize that it was actually the first step of me becoming an ARMY for life.
2. Current favorite song
Euphoria by Jeon Jungkook.
I always love that song. Jungkook’s voice is the kind that makes you want to be dramatic over life, something that will make you remember some good important memories where you feel happy and at peace with yourself. It’s soft and melodic and I just love the first part of that song so much. I could even sing it perfectly. I also have different instrumental versions of that song because the beat is just so good. I have a guitar version and a piano version. I also have the version that Jungkook released this year’s FESTA, the piano version accompanied with his beautiful voice.
3. A song that everyone should listen to
Spring Day.
I just heard this song playing on the radio and after the song ends, the DJ made her comments about it telling everyone that while the song was playing she was also reading the English translations of the lyrics and how it almost made her cry. I was listening to her and got inspired at what she said. So I thought that if everyone would just listen to Spring Day, they would experience that feeling too. Even if they don’t understand the lyrics, the song itself is enough to touch hearts. Even more if they read the translations.
4. Favorite MV
Blood, Sweat, and Tears.
For me, it was the best comeback ever of BTS. They combined music with art, psychology, and symbolism and it turned out to be marvelously fantastic.
5. Favorite solo song
Euphoria by Jungkook.
I told you I love that song so much.
6. Favorite rap line song
Outro: Tear.
I swear, if you hear this song you will find yourself with mouth gaping wide in awe. Rap doesn’t always sound nice to someone who doesn’t fancy it too often but this one killed it. The best rap I ever heard and I ain’t even a fan of raps. I was really fascinated at how cool their voices are and how the whole song transformed into some kind of dark and wild and raging kind of genre. You can really feel the pain and all the torment of the person in that song. All the fears, the anger, miseries and breakdowns brought by a terrible heartbreak. The rap line raps it all well.
7. Favorite vocal line song
I’m not gonna say Euphoria again. So for this question, I’m going to pick Epiphany by Kim Seokjin. If you’ve been around enough or been an ARMY as long as the Love Yourself album series, you will get whole point of this song and understand that it’s the happy ending of the whole Love Yourself story. Apparently, the story speaks of someone in love but got broken and decided to finally love himself. The story was not that simple though. Along the way, it has become complicated and confusing as that someone questions himself, got mad, and do crazy stuffs (as told in the story of TEAR). Epiphany was the last intro song of the three albums and it’s apparently the answer to all that someone’s questions. It speaks of revival and opening the mind to fully understand the whole situation after the destructive storm that love has brought upon him. It’s a song of acceptance that everything has happened already and it’s now time to move on and love oneself even with all the flaws and broken pieces.  Why I love this song is because it speaks some things that I couldn’t speak myself. I’ve been around enough and the story of Love Yourself made such a great impact in my life. It has become my own story now. So the song Epiphany is also the answer I’ve been looking for and my own happy ending story.
8. Favorite collaboration
As a fan of both BTS and Ed Sheeran, there is nothing more exciting than a collab between the two. So I have Make It Right for this. Although Ed Sheeran didn’t sing a line of that song (though I would’ve love it even more if he does), the song itself shows a lot of his presence. The beat, the lyrics and the tone of the song are good combinations of BTS and Ed Sheeran. It’s like legends meet legends and together they combined superpowers and Make It Right is the end product.
9. Favorite live performance
I haven’t been a fan of live performances but there is actually one live performance of BTS that really captivates my eyes. Remember 2018’s Melon Music Awards? Yeah, that’s right. It was that time when BTS shone the most. The introduction of their performance was so lit I had no other words for that. They brought a lot of people on stage to perform Idol in a traditional way but what really had me amazed was when the dance line performed solo in the beginning. First, it was J-hope with the lady drummers. It was so colorful and aesthetic and Jhope's dance moves matched the beat of the drums very well. It was such a powerful performance. Then there was Jimin with the fan. He looked so sophisticated and classy in a traditional way. I love the way he danced while holding the fan in his hand. He even got a cultural award for that. Next, Jungkook with a handkerchief.  The way he looked at the camera while he did all those killing moves were marvellous. And then all the cultural dancers gathered together on stage and danced the instrumental version of Idol. I swear, that was the most beautiful live performance I ever saw.
10. A feminine empowering song
I have Epiphany for this again. I don’t know, I just kind of like the lyrics of that song so much. It kind of represents all the ladies out there who are miserable because of love. The song is so much powerful as long as you understand it. There’s even a line I love in it where I get inspiration from every time I feel insecure of myself. “ I may be a bit blunt, I may lack some things, I may not have that shy glow around me. But this is me. My arms, my legs, my heart, my soul. “
It’s girl power, you know.
11.A sad song
There’s no sadder song than The Truth Untold. I read the lyrics and it’s really sad. And the way the vocal lines sing it makes the song sad even more. The line, “But I still want you…” is the most heartbreaking thing ever. I don’t think there’s another that can compete with that. I don’t blame the song or the writer of that song. It’s just that it’s the song of the Tear album and the story of Tear is really heartbreaking since it’s where all the pain and misery happened. And where love failed and the person got crazy and wild.
12. A song that makes you dance
So What. It’s the song that tells you to do things you like and not minding what anyone has to say. So everytime I listen to that song, I was like, “So What” and dance and dance until my back hurts from dancing.
13. Favorite dance practice
There’s a lot of dance practices that I fancy a lot. But I love the ones that were done out of silliness and crazy stuffs.  Remember Baepse? They danced like silly little dorks but they danced so well. I’m amazed at their duality and the fact that they could pull something crazy and still be good at it. Dance Kings, indeed.
14. Favorite interview
I love that interview somewhere in the US where Seokjin kept saying “Yeah, I’m worldwide handsome, you know?” and J-hope saying “I love hamburger and sprite”. That will always be the most iconic interview ever.
15. Most underrated song
Spine Breaker.
Not all ARMYs know that song since it’s an old one and BTS don’t perform it too often these days. But if you could just hear it and read its lyrics, it speaks a lot to you. It’s such a powerful song and I hope more people would listen to it. Especially the youth of this generation. BTS, as youth themselves, really wrote a song for them indicating how they all feel living in this generation and this song really speaks a lot.
16. A song that deserves an MV
Mikrokosmos.
The song is beautiful. The lyrics are beautiful. It should have an mv. And in the mv, there should be lots and lots of stars. And sometimes the stars should shine in purple color so when armys zoom into it, they will see army bombs instead. And while this happens, the chorus of the song plays until it gets to the part where BTS sing “Shine, Dream, Smile. Oh let us light up the night….” It would be a beautiful mv.
17. Favorite song from Dark & Wild album
The lit rap, Cypher pt. 3.
It’s a song to roast haters. Suits Yoongi’s attitude sometimes, and always remind me of him.
18. Favorite intro
Boy Meets Evil.
It’s the first intro I ever encountered when I became an ARMY back in 2017. And one of the songs that got me into BTS. I saw J-hope’s performance with this one on MAMA 2016. My sister showed me the video and I was amazed. Back then, I didn’t know much about J-hope or his cheerful attitude. I thought he was all that dark and cool guy with a bad guy look and it’s all because of  this song. The J-hope in the mv of this song was so not like the J-hope I know now but it was my first impression of him.  So I assume he was like that until I get to know him better. It still surprises me everytime I watch the video of the song. The duality of J-hope is mesmerizing, indeed. That's why this song is so special to me.
19. Favorite cover
There are at least three covers I like. But I have to choose one. So for this, I’m gonna go with Hug Me by J-hope and V. I love V’s voice in this song. It’s so deep and cold but relaxing at the same time. I love the tone of the chorus and the beat of J-hope’s rap. Combined together, it makes the whole song worth to listen to.
20. Favorite outro
Answer: Love Myself
(or is it Outro: Answer: Love Myself?) Regardless, I love that song. I love the lyrics, especially where the writer of that song (RM?) described our scars as our own galaxies. It’s one of the three star songs by the way (Magic Shop and Mikrokosmos being the other two, and just so you know, I coined this term by myself) and always remember that star songs are always the best ones. ARMYS are so lucky to be gifted with such songs that inspire us in times of our dark moments.
21. Favorite song from solo projects (outside the group)
Seoul by RM from his own solo album Mono.
I want you to know that every song that RM writes is my favorite. RM is my inspiration and he’s the second best composer I ever knew (next to Ed Sheeran). I love how open minded he is and how he sees the world and writes how he feels about it. In Seoul, he expressed his deep feelings  about his homeland, including all the ups and downs he had as he lives there and how he cherishes and loves it wholeheartedly even after seeing all its dark sides. It’s one of the best songs I ever knew.
22. Favorite cypher
Cypher pt. 4.
For me it’s the deepest among the 4 cyphers in terms of its meaning. It’s currently the last cypher for now (though I’m still hoping for another more) and Namjoon did put a good effort in writing his parts there. I love how he literally raps his mockery against the prejudice of Kpop idols in the Kpop industry. That line “Oh face, not an idol” is really a good hint in telling people out there how sick Kpop is as an industry who only invests in people with good appearances and not in talents. Namjoon wrote down this line “sorry bae” to roast down people who think of idols that way. “Sorry Bae” because I’m talented. “sorry bae” because I’m breathing. “sorry bae” because I’m healthy. “sorry bae” because I’m still shining despite your negative comments about how I don’t fit in your qualifications.
It’s not just the industry though. It’s people’s perception on Kpop and how they look kpop as one of those things that shine like stars and idols with faces as bright as diamonds and all that jolly dolly kind of music. They hate what they don’t like and it doesn’t end in just hating but all the way to giving their unpopular opinions to the public with lots of bashing and roasting and outrageous participations in fandom wars. Not to mention the antis and haters who have absolutely no knowledge about kpop and still getting busy out there trying to bring it down.
“sorry bae” because you know my name even though I don’t know yours. Haters roast BTS through hate comments. BTS roast them back through their beautiful songs. And we, ARMYs, are loving this war.
23. A song with beautiful lyrics
My favorite star song, Magic Shop. The first song that I coined as a star song. Also the first song that I really admired in terms of its meaning ever since I became an ARMY. It’s ARMY’s song. Our Song. My Song. Namjoon wrote it for us, describing that there is a door in our subconscious mind that leads to a world (or more likely a shop) where everything is good and happy and that all you have to do is to open it and exchange all your fears, miseries, pain and negativities with happiness and all the good stuffs.
24. Favorite Japanese song
Crystal Snow.
I love that song because Seokjin hit 3 high notes in it. I love Seokjin’s vocals when he tries harder to make it better. The beat of the song and its rhythm are great as well. Plus the background music is something that you really want to listen to if you want to feel something.
25. A song that you haven’t heard for a long time
There were many but let’s choose Tomorrow for now. The feels that this song give is so cool and will make you want to say that this is really how raps should be. Lol I don’t really know anything about raps but this one just defines it for me. The lyrics were deep since its one of the songs when Hip Hop BTS are still promoting and during those times BTS like to appeal as tough and rebellious teenagers who are sick of the society they’re living in. So the lyrics of most of the songs they wrote during those times, including this one, are kind of reflecting the lives of teenagers and youth and how they overcome everyday’s struggles in order to accomplish their dreams and live a better tomorrow.
26. A song without choreography
Butterfly. It’s that song that I love. It doesn’t have to have a choreography . I love it anyway.
27. A song that feels different when you hear it live
House of cards.
It sounds raw and original when the vocal line sing it live. You can literally hear Jimin’s high notes transforming into a girly-kind-of scream, Jin’s vocals being forced out of his lungs, and V trying to raise his deep voice. All of this while Jungkook sings so well, not minding any mishaps that his friends are making. But then, I love it anyway. It’s the truest vocals that Bangtan ever has and it’s perfect no matter what.
28. A song that helped  you the most
Magic Shop.
I always come back over and over again to this song. It was that one song that stayed with me when I was struggling during my last year in college, the one that got me through all the breakdown moments and painful times. The one song that I called a friend when everyone in my circle became dramatic and overreacting jerks who just have so much to say and didn’t even listen to me. The song that symbolizes hope that made me believe that a better tomorrow will come. I owe everything to this song. It has always been there for me.
29. A song about politics and society
There were many of those songs but I choose No More Dream. Before BTS were famous with all their deep and meaningful songs about loving oneself, there was this song. The beginning of everything.  As Suga once said, “It isn’t a BTS album if there isn’t a track criticizing society.” It all started with No More Dream. All the dissing and roasting and revealing what society is like for young people like BTS started with the story of No More Dream where youth were deprived of their own dreams because “parents-know-best” kind of stuff exists.
Sorry I had to search it out. (You can check all the songs here under that category: https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/k-town/7966116/bts-socially-conscious-woke-songs-go-go-list  it’s really cool to get to know those songs)
30. A new song
There’s this other version of Make It Right where Lauv sings the first part in English. I love it because it looks like the kind of songs a lot of people would want to listen to. Especially non-kpopper people. Or people who love Lauv but not BTS. To me, this song is like an instrument to change their minds about kpop. This will prove that, even though Kpop is not English, it’s music. And music creates good vibes and relaxing sensations no matter what country it belongs. And with Lauv singing in English and BTS singing in their own language, it breaks the standards that some western-stereotyped people put into music. Music should be boundless and BTS proved that right.

K-POP Tag
ALRIGHT I was tagged by @tae-party and I’m finally going to do one of these!
What was the first song you heard by your bias group?: Probably something from GOT7 first. I think it may have been Confession Song or Just Right
δ(´д`; )δ(´д`; )δ(´д`; )
List your 5 favorite kpop groups: I have too many favorite KPOP groups to list (said every multifandom-er ever). I’m forever in love, though, with GOT7, BTS, Red Velvet, all dem N C Ts, BLACKPINK, Seventeen, TWICE, and many more 8^)
Who is your ultimate bias and why?: God dang, this question always GETS me, ya feel? You can’t just pick one. UGGGGHHH, but right now my ultimate bias will have to be Jimin. I just don’t know what it is. His sincerity and care towards his members, his goofy laugh and bright smile, as well as his bright and soft personality draws me in. It used to be one of the members from GOT7, but I... I’VE CHANGED.
Has a kpop song or music video ever made you cry?: I’ve actually cried so many times for different songs, whether it be a happy, joyful song or even a sad one. I find a way to cry because seeing my boys and girls on stage like that, performing their heart out, even through their hard schedules and restless nights, make me feel so happy that they’ve come so far and are appreciated so well by the general public. (✿ ♥‿♥)
Name your top 10 favorite kpop albums: I don’t really rate albums, usually songs, but alright HERE WE GO. i’M about that LOVE YOURSELF: HER life. BLESS I love every single song on this album. Period. I really enjoyed GOT7′s Flight Log: Departure, J-Hope’s Hope World, GOT7′s Flight Log: Turbulence, JONGHYUN’s latest album,  IU’s Palette, and G-Dragon’s KWON JI YONG.
Who is the funniest idol in your opinion? EVERY IDOL IS FUNNY. Every single idol is funny in their own way and I appreciate that. The funniest idols to me are within BTS and GOT7 (probably biased, but com’on just look at those nerds).  ꒰˘̩̩̩⌣˘̩̩̩๑꒱♡
What’s your favorite kpop choreo? Spring Day by BTS because of all the symbolism in it and it’s just nice to look at you know what I mean? But also Don’t Wanna Cry by Seventeen they’re so synchronized and again its very nice to watch.
Put your playlist on shuffle and list the first five songs that play:
Moving On (BTS)
Laugh Laugh Laugh (GOT7)
Power (EXO)
Tell Me What To Do (SHINee)
Ice Cream Cake (Red Velvet)
What is your favorite kdrama that any kpop idol has played a part in? Love Rain ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)
What is your favorite OST by a kpop idol? Stay With Me by Chanyeol and Punch
List your top 10 bias wreckers: BTS--> Jungkook, V, Jin, J-hope, Rap Mon, SUga (literally all of them i cant), GOT7--> JAEEEBUUUMMM, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, NCT’s Taeyong, Jaehyun, Jisung
What is the oldest group you stan? Super JuNiOr
What is the youngest group you stan? Probably NCT Dream or BLACKPINK. I haven’t been able to get into the newer groups lately. So I think one of these.
Do you have a favorite music video of all time? All music videos are so good... I can’t pick.
What is the most underrated group you stan? I think the most underrated would actually be ASTRO. Like not many talk about them and I want these little boys (although older than me) to be popular and talked about and be known for their talents.
Do you have a favorite kpop blog? I don’t really have a favorite KPOP blog. I like all my kpop blogs that I follow because they give good content.
Do you own any kpop albums? I actually own both versions of GOT7′s Flight Log: Departure, TWICE’s Cheer Up album, BTS’ Love Yourself: Her, and BTS’ Young Forever Album. I preordered GOT7′s EYES ON YOU album, so that’s gonna be added to my collection!!
Name the top 5 groups you would like to see live: GOT7, BTS, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, BLACKPINK
Who is your favorite soloist? IU & K.will
Are there any kpop songs you can sing or dance to? I guess I can dance to BTS’ Go Go... not really well and not really on beat.. but yano it’s all bout the FEEL.
Is there any idol you would like to hug? I would love to hug Jimin. Not only because he’s my ultimate bias, but because I want him to know that he’s perfect the way he is. He doesn’t have to do anything-- he doesn’t have to go through excessive weight loss or alter anything about himself because there will always be someone out there to love him for who he is. I would like to give all the kpop idols a hug tbh. They all deserve recognition for their talents.
What groups do you like that have either disbanded or disappeared? 2NE1 and MBLAQ.
What idol do you think you have the most in common with?: I don’t really know to be honest. I think I might have the most in common with Mark (GOT7)
If you could hang out with any of your biases, who would you pick and why?: I would want to hang out with all of GOT7 and BTS #gotbangtan i’d be the happiest girl alive to have both them of them together because they’re all my biases. If it had to be one, I would want to hang out with Bambam for the dank memes and fun times. I think he’d be a nice friend even with his strange behaviors he portrays all the time on screen.

~URL & Questions Tag~
I was tagged by the lovely @strawberrymochu for both of these~
ˏˋ url tag ˊˎ˗
rules: spell out your url using only k-pop songs and tag (ten) people.
z - Zutter - GD & T.O.P
o - Outro: Wings - BTS
r - Run - BTS
v - Very Nice - Seventeen
a - A - Got7
y - You Were Beautiful - Day6
u - U - KNK
˗ˏˋ 11 questions tag ˊˎ˗
1. Post the rules. 2. Answer the questions given to you by the tagger. 3. Write 11 questions of your own. 4. Tag 11 people
1) if you weren’t in [insert kpop fandom] what would you be doing/interested in instead?
If I wasn’t into BTS, I’d probably be into art and photography, I don’t really see myself being too into fashion or my appearance as much as I’ve become over the years, but it would probably happen as well. I think I would also be doing more with digital art as well, not focusing so much on watercolors. (my art IG: [Link])
2) if you could swap clothing styles with anyone for the day, who would it be and why?
I’d probably swap clothing styles with @beeleaf bc she always wears really cute aesthetic outfits, or @tadashiz because idk how to put together comfy clothes that end up looking cute and trendy yet she does it???
3) which fictional character can you relate to (or resemble) most?
Well my friends used to always tell me I looked a lot like Ymir from Attack on Titan (which was strangely accurate), but as for fictional characters I relate to, I don’t think I can come up with one off the top of my head, however, if I were to be like a real person, my friends tell me I’m a lot like Yoongi (I sleep a lot in the day time and tend to keep to myself) with a slight mix of Hoseok or Tae (I tend to be more open around friends and family), and my sister tells me I’m very similar to her bias, Leo, from her bias group, VIXX.
4) which zodiac sign do you think you should have been born with? if you think your current zodiac is accurate, what other zodiac sign would suit you well?
Uhhh, I actually don’t know zodiac signs well enough to answer, I’m a scorpio however, and the zodiac posts have never really matched up with me completely, so I guess which ever sign is more quiet and introverted, but can get to be louder and more open with friends or family? Sorry I should know more about this ^^’
5) name your guilty pleasure a) song, b) movie, and c) hobby.
a) oooh, probably No More Dream by BTS (I dont listen to it often but the song itself is good okay)
b) How To Train Your Dragon (idek if I’m guilty about it, its just a childhood favorite that I’ll watch anytime)
c) learning kpop dances (I do hip hop but I still like to use free time to learn kpop dances, I actually wanna start a dance cover group or join one but don’t know where to go or start)
6) what is a tasty food (in your opinion) you absolutely cannot live without?
Probably strawberries, spicy dak (chicken) bulgogi, or grapes (honestly just fruits in general)
7) what’s the best piece of advice you would give to someone based on your experiences?
If you feel pulled to someone, whether it’s a love interest or a possible friend, don’t be afraid to go to them, everyone around you is in your life for a reason, and sometimes those toxic people in your life are there for you to learn something valuable. Always remember that this too shall pass and to try not to ever fake yourself for someone, if they truly like you, they’ll like your true personality.
8) what never fails to cheer you up?
Any compilation video of my love Jung Hoseok, or just a hug.
9) are you the friend who advises against/laughs at embarrassing things your friends do, or are you the friend doing something asinine?
Now that I think about it, both honestly lmao
10) which two artists (groups or solo artists) do you wish would collab?
This is tricky, but I’d love to see a collab of Hoseok and a female singer, maybe IU or someone else with a light voice like that, in a soft romance song? Idk but I’d love to hear more of my boy singing! Other than that, I’ve always thought that Ravi (VIXX) should collab with someone from BTS, it would be really cool no matter which member he collabed with.
11) in your opinion, what is the most underrated song of your bias group?
Out of all of BTS’ songs, I feel like Epilogue: Young Forever is a bit too underrated, its such a good song but it gets forgotten about a lot :(
(For the bonus question: If that’s pineapple, I don’t really like pineapple on pizza, but I love pineapple itself! Too bad I’ve recently become allergic to it)
Questions for the ones Tagged
1) Who was your first ever bias?
2) What kpop star (or group) do you think doesn’t get enough attention?
3) What kind of fashion style do you have?
4) If 《Insert Bias Group》 never formed, what jobs/careers do you think each member would have?
5) What season is your favorite?
6) How many k-pop albums do you have?
7) If you had to speak another language (and be fluent), what language would you choose?
8) What is one thing you wish for or are looking forward to in 2018?
9) Favorite song from 2017?
10) What was your favorite part of 2017?
11) How may pets do you have?/What pet(s) would you want if you had pets?
If you’re tagged you don’t have to do this, and if you do, you can do one or both of these
Tags (dont know enough people so Ima tag as many as I can): @tadashiz @beeleaf @rapmonsama @btees @crownmystars @kthyvngs @keefy-teefy @cristalsnows @sehtyle

RFA reaction to discover that MC composes songs and some of them have even been sung by kpop groups (like EXO, BTS, Girls Generation)
sure thing, anon! Hope you like it 💛
I gave one kpop group to everyone! they’re,,,what I know ^^;;
zen
zen actually knew that mc wrote songs!
it’s part of how he got mc to be his manager
however! he didn’t know that one of their songs was sung by BTS??
they decided to clean one day because all these papers from both of them were getting out of hand
and of course, they had to look through them to see if they were worth keeping
then zen stumbled about what looked like a song rough draft
and it was? for ‘Just One Day’??
he knew that song…
he whips around to mc and gives them the weirdest look
“…yes?” “is this that BTS song????”
mc looks at the paper. “Oh, yeah!! I totally forgot I gave that to them!”
“babe, you know that’s my favorite song from them. and you wrote it?!”
zen is totally a bts fan listen,,,his bias is jin,,,or v,,
he asks mc about it for a solid 15 minutes, they stopped cleaning
zen is so proud of them!!! and so hyped!!!
“are you doing any more? Do you talk to them??? can I meet them?????”
mc puts one of the members on the phone and he almost dies
yoosung
he found out because he just figured out about the band tbh
when mc came home, he had on ‘The Beat’ by Topp Dogg
literally blasting around the house just like me right now lololol
mc was actually so surprised. “I haven’t heard this song in forever-”
yoosung turned to them, stars practically in his eyes.
“honeybun~ I just found this kpop group! They’re so underrated!! I mean, listen to this song!”
listen i speak truths. listen to topp dogg.
mc laughs lightly, “I knew about them!”
yoosung is half betrayed, “And you didn’t tell me???”
“Sorry, I was so busy, I forgot to tell you” “it’s alright. but how’d you know about them?”
“uh…I wrote this song” they smile a bit
yoosung’s mouth drops
“nO WAY!! MC!! THIS SONG IS SO GOOOOOD”“
he’s so excited, bless him
they have a dance party to that song for the rest of the day
and mc shows him all their other songs
look who stans topp dogg now
jaehee
she’s heard some of mc’s work before
but jaehee had no idea that mc’s work reached such heights
that is, until she decided to have a kpop marathon
a change from zen’s musicals. also to broaden her music horizons
what did she miss out on or what did she forget she liked
for example: ‘I Got A Boy’ by Girls Generation
which was the song playing right when mc walked in
“Oh, mc! Do you remember this song?It’s kind of old, but it’s really good!”
mc walks over with a smile and kisses jaehee’s head
“I do! I remember when I first started writing it too”
wait what
“When you what?”
“Oh…I helped write that song” now there’s a bit of a shy smile on mc’s face
jaehee literally stares at them for a little bit
“really?” “..yes..”
“mc!! That’s amazing!!!! It’s so good!”
honestly, she felt like she should’ve recognized earlier. It was very mc’s style
but stil!!!
“do you still compose songs for other kpop groups?”
its Fangirl Night
jumin
so, him and mc share a youtube account
and a recommended video was ‘Black or White’ by Cross Gene
it caught Jumin’s eye and he figured he could spare one music video
the video itself was,,,,,interesting
why was this recommended for them? it’s a pretty gorey music video..
seriously if you’re thinking of looking it up, I suggest just putting it on and listening to the song;;
oh yeah, all the movies and tv shows they watch
but still
anyways, this song was pretty nice
….he dug it
there was a bit of toe tapping in the office
so he had to tell mc about it when he got home
“my love, there was this..strange music video recommended on our youtube. this group called Cross Gene. Do you know about them?”
“I do! What video was it?” “It was for this song called ‘Black or White’.”
“oh! that’s the song I wrote for them!”
..excuse me?
“my love..you what?” “oh, I wrote it before we met, sorry. I forgot about it, love.”
he’s impressed, tbh. it’s a really good song.
but he makes them watch the video and come up with theories for them
707 / luciel / saeyoung
mc had to sit his ass down to get him to have a kpop marathon with them
he’s listened to a few kpop groups, but didn’t have a real favorite, you know?
but then mc showed him Got7
he absolutely loved ‘Just Right’ tbh
like, the music video was amazing, the song itself was oddly his vibe
and he would love to sing it to mc anytime
tbh sometimes, he felt like he needed it himself.
listen, he loved it
mc was grinning on their side of the couch
“you found your favoriteee~” they tease
“listen. this song is really good!”
“you really think so?” “yes?????”
mc smirks. “I helped write it.”
seven really felt like he should’ve known that
“oh..my god.”
literally gets off the couch and bows to them
“master song-writer!! this is an amazing song! thank you for showing it to me!!”
he’s half-joking and mc knows it but it’s fine
they spent the rest of the day learning the dance

TAGGY GAMES #2
TAGGED BY @s-lay-ing thank you so much!! I had fun doing this <3 <3 Will tag... @healinghoshi (vicky pls dont tell me youre stressing too much TT-TT) @wonuthewhale (i will still tag you in these even though you dont do them >:D) @jisoosmeoli (CARMENNN) @vitaminniedk (vivienne!!) @jisoominghao JELLY WHERE ARE YOU TT-TT PLEASE TELL ME YOURE DOING OKAY <3
Alright then, here we go:
8 questions tag 😈
So you have to answer the questions that the person who tagged you made & then you have to come up with your own questions, as simple as that 😁
I ACTUALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHICH QUESTIONS I’M MEANT TO DO AND WHAT I’M NOT MEANT TO SO… YOLO (I’m so cringey I apologise)
1. what’s your favorite bridge in a song? (i know this is so difficult but i thought narrowing it to the bridge might help?? but back 2 u’s is honestly so good)
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT A BRIDGE IS EDUCATE ME
2. how many spoons can you balance on your face? (photo evidence is optional)
Nothing is tearing me away from the computer and this music that is coming from my headphones which is connected to my computer.
3. the ingredients you would put in your ideal smoothie are….
…the basics? Strawberry, milk, honey and such?
4. what was the defining moment that made your ult bias your bias?
Jihoon? It just kind of happened. It felt like he kind of just biased wrecked me way too much… I still have bias wreckers, definitely, but at the end of the day its always Jihoon that I love the most, and I think that’s the defining moment.
5. would you change your eye color if you could? if so what color? (it can be natural or not have fun w it lol)
…tbh I think I’m fine with this, I can’t imagine myself with anything else.
6. what are your favorite physical and personality traits of your top bias(es)? (alternatively just your fave picture of our bias if you can’t pick actually just include your fave picture bc why not)
JIHOON
Physical? His arms? Like what? No? What? Happened? Why? Is he suddenly?
Personality? He is kinda like tsundere but you can really tell he loves his members. He’s always so humble, despite being so amazing and I just love him. A tough exterior covering a soft and caring Jihoon <3
Choi Seungcheol
Physical: …his body in general? I mean like if you watch him dance in Mansae, his legs move in a really satisfying way (why do I feel like I’m saying something wrong) but like his arms are really nice too?
Personality: I just. This boy. He’s so incredibly hardworking and he clearly loves his members and takes care of them like he’s their father, he’s always so humble and selfless. Always thinks of others before himself <3
7. do you have a go-to video to make you laugh/cheer you up?
Honestly, just SVT in general. Their videos always make me feel better <3
8. end w your favorite quote/emoji/emoticon(ノ´ヮ`)ノ*: ・゚
Loving you is a blessing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AGAIN, DO I DO THESE? I’m sorry if I’m not meant to but here goes nothing:
1. If you could have any idols hairstyle past or present whose would you choose?
…isn’t it like a no brainer? YoON JEONGHAN’S LONG HAIR.
2. If you could take your bias group or just your bias and put them into another universe i.e. wizarding world or similar what world would you but them in? And why?
………………………………………………………………………………………?
3. Fave idol outfit? doesn’t have to be your bias just any outfit you’ve liked! Provide pictures if you want!
The time SEVENTEEN WAS AT SBS GAYO DAEJUKCHAE? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS CALLED BUT THE PRINCE OUTFITS WERE SO DAMN NICE OH MY GOD
4. Favorite fancam? Im a fancam ho I need recs plx.
Oooooh, I had a whole google document of this and now I have no idea where it went…uhhh… there are definitely some that I love….. . . … … . .THE FANCAM OF CHEOL AND HOSH TALKING TO THE KID I AM D E A D
5. What are your favorite girl group non title songs, if you don’t have any what are your favorite gg mvs?
I don’t listen to girl groups that much? Please don’t take offense, I promise I have nothing against girl groups, but when I do listen to them they’re mostly title tracks.
Favorite video: … no idea
6. If you could create your own group drawing from all other groups regardless of companies who would you choose and what would there concept be?
…the disadvantages of being only SVT biased, you have no idea how to answer this question XD
7. so you are going to a music festival and in this dream world you get to decide all the ppl/groups that are going to be there, who would you choose? It doesn’t just have to be Kpop!
LOL I CAN’T ANSWER THIS EITHER I’M NOT MULTIFANDOM XDD
8. If you could have any talent in the world what would you want it to be? I would want to be in anyway musically inclined rip me tbh.
The talent to be good at everything :DDDD
———————————–
Now, my questions:
1_ Thoughts on paying for a hitouch?
I’m not that sure tbh, what exactly is a hitouch? Do I get to talk to them?
2_ Now, if your favorite group/artist (kpop or not) chooses you to go on stage to perform with them…do you think you could do a great job?
Hell no. I have no performing skills whatsoever.
3_ (CHOREOGRAPHY WISE) Adore u or Shining Diamond? Mansae or Rock? Pretty u or Chuck? Boom Boom or Smile Flower doesn’t have a choreo so Highlight? Don’t wanna cry or Crazy In Love?
Adore U, Mansae, Pretty U, Smile Flower, Don’t Wanna Cry.
4_ Is there a song you absolutely adore from an artist/group you don’t really stan/like?
EXO CBX’S HEY MAMA OH MY GODDDD I’M STILL ADDICTED
5_ Name your Top 10 non title kpop songs 🎶 (songs that aren’t the main single nor the second song they tend to promote along the main one)
I have no idea.
6_ if you’ve had your first job already: what’s the very first thing you bought with your first paycheck? If you haven’t had a job yet, what’s the most meaningful item you own?
I can’t exactly say I own my family and friends, but that’s what I’m saying.
7_ Have you ever tried to do something you’ve seen on social media? (Recipes, make up tutorials, a viral challenge, a DIY etc) if so, what have you attempted to do?
No XD
8_ Right now at this very exact moment the three leaders of Seventeen go to wherever you are w/ a camera crew and all that jazz to say you were chosen to participate with them and one friend of your choice in a new edition of OFD (in your country obvi). Now: where did they find you? Which friend would you pick (can be from anywhere)? and if you had to pick between the three units, which one would you join? (😜😜😜)
Where did they find me? …at my house? Is that strange? I would pick my best friend probably, she loves Seventeen too. What IS THAT LAST QUESTION OH MY GODDDD ……………………………………… .       . . . bu-buT TT-TT vocal unit it is~
Bonus question bc ¯\_(ツ)_/¯: is there a movie you consider is beyond underrated? I need movie recommendations 😁
I don’t watch movies a lot XD but I personally think Pitch Perfect 1 didn’t really meet my expectations.
11 questions! 😊
I was tagged by @s-lay-ing to do this tag which is very similar to one ive done before but its one of those cool ones thats different everytime you do it! So basically you answer 11 questions then give 11 to be answered! Thanks so much for tagging me Claudia, you the realest like wow. 🙃💜
Tagging some lovely binches: @min-yoongini, @maybehao @bubkwan @insecure-trash-bag @kae-popx @yeol-mints and whoever else wants to do it! No pressure, just do it if you feel like it! 💜
1. Would you travel alone around your country?
I think I would, I think I would enjoy myself. Having time to myself like that is one of my favorite things. I love getting lost in my own thoughts, traveling alone seems like it would be a good opportunity to do so. On the other hand maybe its not the best idea to get lost in your thoughts while traveling alone cause you know stranger danger and all 😅
2. You save the enough money to buy sth you’ve really really wanted for a long time (something small) but just when you were about to spend it you found out your fave group set a date to perform in your country and the ticket costs the same as that thing you wanted to buy…which one would you choose to buy?(Asking 'cause a couple of years ago I was TWO SECONDS away from buying a black widow costume until a band confirmed they were coming so yeah…I bought the concert ticket 😂💔)
Without a doubt I would buy the ticket, bands I like don't come to Minnesota very often. For example I recently bought tickets to see my favorite band in May, I saw they were coming here and without any hesitation I was like yep I gotta go! You can always save up money for material things but life experiences are harder to come by!
3. Are you a good at cooking?
Yes, thats what I do for a living! Ive pretty much been cooking since I could walk! 👩🏻‍🍳
4. In a zombie apocalypse, would you be a) someone who follows the rest b) someone who takes the lead c) a mix of both?
To be honest Im the type who likes to think/act like they are a leader but really my leadership skills are severely lacking hahaha. So when things would get tough Id just be like nah you guys got this Ill be over here lmk if y'all need anything ty ty. 🤣
5. If shit blew on earth which one of the following would you chose to save yourself? A ship/submarine like the one from the movie 2012 or the space ship from wall-e?
The space ship for sure. Deep sea is actually the scariest thing to me, just thinking about whats down in the ocean gives me the shivers. 🤢
6. Is there an online shop you would absolutely recommend?
I recently bought a kpop phone case from this lovely Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/shopTwazy.  She does the most beautiful custom and pre-made phone cases and key chains! she's also so kind and helpful! Check her out!
7. Name an underrated song you could swear it’s so good yet it’s highly ignored
As for a kpop song not sure if its really that underrated but Shinees 1of1 the mv doesn't even have 10 mil views why y'all sleeping on shinee these days? That song is the literal best bop also taemins dancing 🙌🏼
As far as just music in general ANYTHING BY THE SHINS (the group I’m seeing in may) They had like one popularish song in the early 2000s but they are so under appreciated these days its not even funny, I get it though they aren't everyones cup of tea but James Mercers voice is like pure molten honey. (September - The Shins)
8. You’re invited to three different parties made by the top 3 entertainment companies (sm, yg and jyp) where the only songs you’ll hear during the whole night are the songs made by their own artists, which party would you attend?
That is actually so difficult for me. First of jyp is automatically out of the picture, I really only listen to got7 as far as their groups go. But like Big Bang is one of my faves, but then there is Shinee which hurts me physically, and like winner is one of my favorite groups musically, but like Exo. GIRL GROUPS don't make me chose between Blackpink and Red Velvet MY QUEENS! If the groups are performing at said party that changes everything, if that was the case hands down SM. I love Big Bang/winner but the don't have the moves like Shinee/exo.
9. Your bias pulls a performance like this one and he brings you on stage…what would your reaction be?
First of all no, don't link me to shit like this. Its 4:30 in the morning here I don't need this!! Why?? Who do you think you are?? Kibum does things to me!!!! jk tysm ily 💜 Tbh I probably be a bit like wtf 🙃 then Id be like “ GET YOUR ISHH BOO BOOO” “DO YOUR THANG HUNNY!” Also Id dance along because Im never one to turn down a chance to look like a dumbass.
10. Do you have a pic with someone famous?
Not that I can think of! I've got plenty of pictures with my sister @min-yoongini tho, she's pretty cool! (gofollowher!)
11. If you were granted the possibility to take one group on a seven day vacation/break/time off schedule with the condition that it has to be broadcasted as a variety show later on…would you accept? If the answer is yess: which group would you take and what would you do w/ them? (Travel overseas, a city tour, a ski resort, a car trip, stay in the city etc)
I feel like my obvious answer here is seventeen, but Im gonna go with blackpink because they all seem so chill and nice! I dunno where we would go but some where with lots of history or something! Also no language barrier, so thats nice! Also girls are awesome so yeah all girl trip hell yeah!
My questions
1. If you had to choose between listening to music or watching any kind of video (tv, movie,mv) which would you choose if you had to give one up? (the most evil question 😈)
2. Do have any favorite sayings/lines/lyrics and why are they your favorites?
3. Do you collect any kpop related stuff? Merch/Photocards/Albums/ect? and what groups?
4. What are your top 3 favorite and least favorite food?
5. If you were given 1000 dollars to spend on whatever you like no catches what would you spend it on?
6. What hobbies do you have outside of kpop?
7. Do you have any piercings or tattoos? if so where and of what?
8.  What is your favorite beverage beside water/coffee/tea/pop?
9. Where is the coolest places you ever been? Tell me about it!
10. What group/s is/are your bias group/s? Why?
11. Name a less popular group that you like that you think doesn't get the recognition they deserve! hype them up!! (coughcoughmonstaxcoughcough)
