On this blog you will find sneezing and coughing wavs/audios, talk of sneezing and related things (both self obs & scenarios/fantasies), and some occasional off topic complaints about my personal life (mostly my chronic migraines)

I do have a few allergies, but they’re relatively mild (unless there’s a lot of an allergen around) and mostly just lead to false starts… HOWEVER, I am very easy to induce and I catch a lot of colds!👀😉 (I’m also very prone to fevers whenever I’m ill or stressed) Chhinkni and q-tips send me into harsh fits, so most of my wavs are made using those!

As for what I enjoy, I love sneezing, hitching, spray, snot, noses, allergies, colds, flus, coughing, wheezing, and fevers. Rapid, breathless, allergy fits are my favorite though!🥵 (I also have lots of other kinks, these are just the ones related to snz, illness, & allergies)

a confession?

OK so most of my recent sickfic/snz fantasies are about This One Guy who I doubt anyone else on here likes, and aspects of his character and the canon might be offputting to some people, but I'm going to take the risk and post about him and see if I can convert anyone who isn't too squicked.

I'm incapable of finding a bald guy sexually attractive (I say this but I know someone who used to say they liked him but found him completely unhot, and now they've been trying to convince me that he's hot after all, so it might only be a matter of time...I blame this person for getting me interested in the character AT ALL btw) but I still want snzfic of him. There's like one old one on the forum but it's incomplete and ancient and...well I'm going to have to do it myself. I know there's one fic on here for Frank and don't get me wrong that's hot but...sadly my fav is NOT the hot one in this fandom.

But at least hear me out here. He is smol and skinny and looks so ILL throughout the film. I know people see the like sunken eyes etc as sinister but I'm sorry (/not sorry) he just looks sick to me. Like he hasn't had a full meal or decent night's sleep in far too long. Which considering how Frank treats him is probably accurate.

(Speaking of which, he has lots of non-snz whump potential as well considering he gets whipped and kicked onscreen. But I'm less desperate for that content since it already exists, there's some very whumpy fic for him.)

He's an alien so I don't know if he even can catch human illnesses but even if he can't, maybe there's a Tr/nsylv/n/an illness with the same symptoms? I mean his immune system's gotta be shot at this point right. Look fuck the worldbuilding there's a grand total of 3 people in the world who bother with worldbuilding for this fandom and I am not one of them. I just want him to be even more miserable and for his long pointy nose to be all red and sniffly. His voice is so raspy already imagine how he'd sound. And he clearly doesn't own a shirt and is walking around on a cold wet night in November wearing a torn up, unfastened coat and nothing but a very thin torn and backless waistcoat under it. Half his chest is bare.

At the same time I totally understand if his canon relationship with M/genta squicks people out too much. It would completely put me off the characters if they were human but I think I've just kind of gone, they're aliens and it's normal for Tr/nsylv/n/ans so it doesn't bother me that much. My fics wouldn't be sexually explicit, I don't do that anyway, but like...I'm not going to pretend it's not a thing either, but I will TW for it... and just hope there's at least a few people in the community who don't run a mile from it and that no-one makes a callout post for me or something.

Anyway this feels like r/offmychest or something. At the same time I guess if there's any community to not be embarrassed about having weird taste in, it's this one? idk

13. what’s a niche/specific snz thing that rlly gets you going? (ex. snzing into tattooed hands)

hmm, there's probably a lot of them but the one that comes to mind is like. fake/fake-sounding/cartoonish (up to a point) sneezing. side effect of having the kink literally since before I can remember, I guess—my earliest experiences of it came from like, children's television. semi-relatedly, I think, just like... really basic spellings? for all that I literally have a post series where I just put way too much thought into spellings I will fuck an achoo. and I don't care who knows it

ok this has got to be like the third time I've linked to this fic now but. this fic. just like, all of the spellings in it. they're like, the quintessential snz. not overly complicated, but just complex enough to convey something specific. and, of course, caused by a terrible, sneezy, messy, congested head cold. 😍😅

okay so, i’m not too good at sneeze stuff but i tried my best 🥺 i didn’t really know how to do this, so i just wrote my opinions on how sensitive is their nose, what sets them off, and my favorite thing to see/my own favorite scenario idea for them. i hope this is okay! (i wrote for general sneeze/allergy situations but let me know if you want to see a cold/fever list!)

jungkook-

- jungkook has a overly sensitive nose, his rhinitis is literally canon. i see dust, certain scents, being in new places, and seasonal allergies causing a lot of trouble for him and his nose.

- we don’t see enough of this, jungkook’s 👏 stuck 👏 sneezes 👏 also the little head tilt thing he does. him doing it when he’s teetering on the edge of a sneeze, please. i’m weak.

taehyung-

- i don’t see him too have many sensitivities, but the clip of him sniffling because of the powder the makeup artist was applying to his nose makes me think, maybe he has sensitivities to powders and maybe dust bothers him more than the average person.

- it’s a popular headcanon that tae has quieter sneezes when he’s sick. i 100% agree and i love to see this detail in fics. since i hc he is a drowsy sickie, i’d say he’d be simply too exhausted to be overly-dramatic when he sneezes. this also happens if he sneezes multiple times in a row, it really takes a lot out of him and after the third or fourth sneeze, he’s worn out.

jimin-

- from what i’ve seen, jimin sneezes the most out of the boys. there is no way he doesn’t have an overly sensitive nose. i’d say he probably has seasonal allergies, allergies to pollen, and animal related allergies.

- i’m such a sucker for jimin getting all flustered about his sneezes. i’ve said this before, but stifled sneezes and trying to hold back blowing his nose because he doesn’t want the people around him to be grossed out by the sound. i live for shy jimin.

namjoon-

- okay, i’m convinced the man never sneezes 💀 definitely not a sensitive nose, and only gets sneezy when he is sick. i sort of see him getting seasonal allergies, but he probably gets congestion and a sore throat instead of sneezes. although, it’s hard to say. we lack joon content in the sneeze area, he’s a mysterious sneezer.

- for joon, when his occasional allergies are bothering him, instead of him getting sneezy he is plagued with that tickling, annoying feeling in his sinuses. so he probably rubs at his nose and sniffles a lot. my favorite idea for joon probably is one of the boys catch him sniffling and rubbing his nose, and they’re all like “if you need to sneeze don’t hold back, it will make you feel better” and then joon says ���i’m trying, you don’t understand. i can’t sneeze.”

hoseok-

- hoseok has a slightly over sensitive nose. he doesn’t sneeze too often, but based on a clip where hoseok smells some pepper thats too strong for his nose, it makes me think he may be a bit more sensitive than what is average. i think for hoseok, seasonal allergies and certain strong scents (they have to be pretty strong) get him.

- his allergies probably leave him feeling run down, and that makes him quieter than usual. a scenario that’s interesting to me is the group thinking hobi is coming down with something so they baby him like it’s a cold, but it turns out he just has allergies. it would make for a cute and a bit humorous fic 🥺 as i’m thinking about it now, this is very similar to an amazing fic by @snifflyjoonie called “Americano/Macchiato” (it’s linked for those who are interested!).

yoongi-

- i’d say yoongi has an average nose. he doesn’t have many sensitivities and he doesn’t sneeze that often. but i like to think he is allergic to cats and dust. i really like the hc (not sure who started it!) where yoongi gets a bit congested after being in a dusty place (like hotels while traveling). also, @snifflyjoonie (sorry you’re getting tagged a lot in this post haha) hc about yoongi being slightly photic which triggers sneezing when he steps into sunlight. i loveeee it. (linked here is @snifflyjoonie’s yoongi headcanons! they are *chefs kiss* i highly suggest reading over them).

- yoongi rubs his nose so often. like all the time. so my favorite detail to see in a fic is him wiping at his runny nose specifically when he’s wearing a long sleeves and uses the fabric of his little sweater paws (because i’m so fucking soft for yoongi, he’s just too cute). i’ve shown this idea here in this little drabble thing.

seokjin

- i don’t think seokjin has a sensitive nose in general, but i do see him being the type to have seasonal allergies (especially spring time allergies. when all the flowers are blooming is when he’s suffering the most).

- i can’t find the post, but someone said that seokjin probably apologizes after his sneezes and i absolutely love that idea. imagine a situation where he is sneezing relentlessly because of his allergies (in public, during a fansign, during a song/mv recording, during an interview, etc.) and he keeps rushing out apologies in between. i’m 🥺🥺🥺,,,

which reminds me, i had a whole scenario planned out for a fic around that idea, where jin has an allergy attack during an outside photoshoot in the spring time and he gets all embarrassed and apologizes a lot. *sigh*...i wish i could write well lol.

god fuck idk like. I have fuckall idea what counts as a trope vs what's just a Thing but there is one thing that is definitely a trope that I am a huge slut for and it is catching colds from the weather. yes I know it's not a thing in real life. that's what fic is for let me live. let me assign all my faves "so delicate they will catch a bad cold if they have to walk anywhere in the rain". let me dream of sweet things who sneeze if a snowflake looks at them wrong. fuck.
