boarding: the floor plans

so um... hi folks! if you're here, you've probably been reading my skz fanfic boarding over on ao3. some of y'all have been asking to see my floor plans that i've made for the story. this is me, obliging. hope you enjoy :)

introduction and vibes

i'm planning to upload some edits to the earlier chapters within the next month or so to give a bit more of an image of what i imagine the space to look like, now that i actually have it. in the beginning, i was really just putting scotch tape over the world-building in order to get to the character interactions. for now, here's the edited version of the initial description of the school:

"In the distance, the sparse forest through which they’re driving melts smoothly into a series of rolling hills. With how early it is, the hilltops still catch a hint of morning reds and pinks from the lazy sunrise. The car rounds one last bend in the road, and Felix’ breath catches in his throat. The ground slopes gently upwards for a few hundred yards, and at the peak of that hill stands an ancient estate, cloaked in brickwork and ivy, rising up out of the landscape with impossible grace. It is majestic, and dignified, and makes his heart sink in his chest with a pain like simmering water." (Intro Pt. I)

i can't actually draw, in fact i can barely sketch, so u will just have to use ur imagination on that. but keep it in mind for overall vibes.

the school grounds

this is the worst of these sketches, and i apologise, but this is generally how i imagine the layout of the school. that big thing in the front is the mains, then the courtyard, and the three houses: yang, park, lee. the line around it is a sort of brick-wall fence, old-looking and worn. it's all surrounded by forest that gets thicker the further u venture away from the school, but light enough to allow for hyunjin to catch glimpses of the sun reflecting off the lake on a good day. here is part of the updated description:

"Changbin directs them outside by way of the back door, which leads out to a large manicured courtyard bisected by cobbled walkways; it’s structured a little like a park, complete with benches clustered around trees and small sectioned-off parts clearly set up for games. It’s about a five-minute walk through the courtyard to the dorm buildings, though that’s with the added weight of the suitcase. Felix tries his hardest to memorise where he needs to go — the school grounds certainly seem large enough to get lost in at some point." (Intro Pt. I)

the distance between the houses and the football field is way larger than it appears here; unfortunately, i only had so much paper to work with, and i wasn't gonna start again at this point. it's definitely a five to ten minute walk from the field gate - u can see it in the gap in the fence - to the football field. the path to it slopes vaguely downward. the building next to the football field is the auditorium where choir practice happens, and sometimes assemblies. (we'll get to that in the story eventually, i promise.) also there's changing rooms for when there's football matches.

the mains

this is how i imagine the layout of the main building. the cellar is on a separate page because i make bad choices in life. "T.H." stands for teacher housing. anything with diagonal lines across it is storage of some sort. the grey-shaded thing on the second floor is a bit of roof - for architectural interest, u feel? i play a lot of sims.

the dorm houses

this is how i imagine the layout of the three houses - or, at least, park house. (btw has anyone figured out why i named the houses the way i did? it made me feel really smart when i came up with it.) more on the single dorms later. the stuff in dotted lines is, like, stuff that exists on one floor but not on others - like, the ground floor has those wing things to the sides, but there's no equivalent above or below, it's just roof. hope that makes sense.

the dorm rooms

and finally, this is the layout of the dorm in my head. yes, it's pretty small, but consider this: stuck-up private schools don't care about the rights of children. for this one, i actually tried to work with some realistic measurements, but like, take it with a grain of salt, y'all, i'm an english literature major. as to who's in which room, peek at the top of the page. updated description:

"(The door) opens into a small common room populated by an assortment of worn-looking furniture: a closed wooden storage cupboard in the corner, a mostly-empty bookshelf leaning against the wall, two sofas with a wild assortment of pillows on them placed haphazardly around a chipped coffee table." (Intro Pt. I)

so that's that! i've put a lot of thought into this space, and i think at this point i've got it down pretty well. of course, these are all just what i have in mind myself - if it doesn't fit with your vision of the story, that's cool! keep picturing that! we love anarchy here.

Pretty recently (as far as academics are concerned), there's been a pretty big discovery--that of Color Theory. Essentially what Color Theory is, is that the shades we see now are actually much brighter shades called Colors, and for some reason, our eyes or brains lost the ability to process them. For example, grass is "Grin" and the sky is "Blu".

What you saw was "Red", which reportedly appears when something is "breaking". There are a lot of reports from Central Vaugarde of people seeing it in the sky around the same time / just after the King's curse dissipated, leading many to believe that it's directly related. We won't know for sure until the saviors come forward with more information on how their quest went, but it does seem pretty likely.

TL;DR: You saw the fabric of reality breaking, probably as a result of something the saviors did when defeating the King. Isn't that fun!

i just think a lot about kate like. immediately after season one, and--we'll just. we'll ignore season 2 for now, let's set this in my current anomalous idea of them all in season one (which, rip wetherall farm, but is currently number two & rhonda off at the airshows with mr benedict, constance, milligan, and kate in the house) so like just.

you've been alone your entire life. you've been independent, and you've grown up thinking that the only person you ever had just left you one day for no reason, and in doing so broke a direct promise. and then now, you not only have friends who've you learned to rely on and not just try and do everything yourself, but suddenly you have reliable adults. and more importantly, more specifically, your dad, who never left you but had been taken. had been erased, and even brainswept had never truly stopped looking.

and kate isn't stupid. she heard his story. she knows he must have been through Some Shit. and that he'd have come back if he could. but there's still that pain, that ache, of how long he was missing, for like, more than three quarters of her life! he vanished when she was 3! but now it's like. oh. he did want me. he was taken. he was taken.

so that's an almost identity altering shift in her worldview. and on top of that, her current world is now so completely different: rather than independence and circus life, she's got friends her age who genuinely like her, who she's bonded with through major adversity, and she has adults who actually listen to her and like her. and she has her dad.

and it grates sometimes--she's independent, she doesn't need to be treated like a baby! but also it's like. it's bizarre, because they care, but they don't condescend to her, they do understand she's intelligent and capable even if they want to protect her. and she's never really had adults like that before. not since she was three

so it's a weird mix of like being sort of happy/pleased, because they care, she can rely on them, and being kind of annoyed/frustrated because while she's learned she doesn't need to be entirely independent she still struggles with it. because she's kate wetherall, and she's always prepared, and she feels like she has to be prepared for what will happen if they leave if they're taken from her. she can't rely on them completely, can she? what happens when she loses them again?

and then the mix feelings of old long-buried resentment/anger under buried sadness/loneliness under a crisp crust of i'm perfectly fine, mixed with the new feelings of anger on his behalf, at curtain, sadness at the missing time, at how close he'd been for all these years without either of them knowing it, sadness for him, for herself. but like all of it is still like. under her trying to pretend like she's fine. (and her difficulty expressing emotions, even to herself, does Not Help.)

not to mention as much as genuinely loved the mission in some ways--her new friends (including martina), the adventure, helping people, her bucket coming crazy in handy, etc.--it wasn't exactly a cake walk.

she has nightmares, sometimes: about martina's face when she walked into the waiting room. about sticky's face when he walked out of it. about falling and falling and falling except there aren't warm, safe arms to catch her. about the nodes attached to her face and the long, metallic spires pointed at her, ready to wipe her like her father had been wiped. about her father leaving and never coming home, never being found. about being caught. about losing her friends. about curtain. about all of it.

but she doesn't want to share it because one, she doesn't want them to feel guilty: she did what she had to, and she doesn't regret it. two, and more importantly, she doesn't want them to not let her come on the next mission. (kate had already kind of had the idea that they would have another--they were a team! teams didn't just split up!--but now she's sure of it. curtain's still out there, after all, and he didn't seem the type to just give up.)

i think maybe constance might bully her into talking about it--we already know she can feel dreams (with her comment about sticky dreaming about steak and sticky asking her how she knew that) and as they're on a more even ground she'd be more likely to actually say something. but constance would poke at her about it and probably get her irritated in the process.

(also possible, she talks to mr benedict about this, bc again im a sucker for their dynamic + part of the problem is not wanting to hurt milligan's feelings, and one thing i like about this is i think mr benedict would be extremely kind and understanding about it, and really help like, gently guide her through it, and she'd be like wow adults have never actually helped me before, wild, and then the second she leaves he's like [collapsing into a mess] oh god. oh god. because on one hand he just desperately hopes that helped, and on the other hand, he's having a million crises. oh god. he put actual kids in danger. she's so small number two. number two she's so fucking small and she's having nightmares and it's my brother that took her dad and ohmygodohmygodohmygod. like literally it's like he goes from "kalm" to "PANIK" the second shes out of range. like the dissonance between mr benedict (around the kids, a calm and kindly mentor who seems to know what he's doing for the most part) and nicholas (0.0003 seconds from a panic attack rn, full to the brim with anxiety and guilt) is. hilarious, in a sad way. but i digress, mr benedict tangent over, sorry)

ANYWAY also kate and milligan. like. getting to know him again, and vice versa. this is personally painful for me. like so many years, this disconnect between them hurts, but like. it starts with that hug, with her letting herself lean into his side, letting him put an arm around her shoulders, and he's like. in tears a bit. and like. then over time just. trying to tell each other about their lives--particularly kate recounting her adventures--and marveling a bit at how similar they are in many ways. milligan slowly getting memories back and remembering her as a little girl and seeing her now, all grown up but so small and hurt still, and like. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

i also have so many thoughts head full on them & mr benedict, and also throwing in constance and everyone really, but that's too many and this is already long and i dont even know how to put it to words so i'll refrain for now. anyway my point is: kate wetherall. hug her please

So for starters my mom hates spn and I never watch it when I visit her. But completely unrelated, today she was complaining that my generation doesn’t read books and all we do is watch tv and listen to podcasts. I was in a contrarian mood, so I argued that I read books all the time actually! They’re just online. And she said Really? Like What? And I panicked and told her the first thing that came to mind, which was the aaaaaaahmazing masterpiece that is R.W.Y.L.M. I went on, telling her about how compelling and dramatic it was, I told her it was about “A guy who everyone thinks is dead for ten years, and when he comes back his family has moved on. !!! . She was SURPRISINGLY interested, and practically BEGGED me to tell her more. I changed some of the details, so she wouldn’t know it was a supernatural fanfic- For example, Dean was “Don” and Cas was “Clark” (except when he’s Steve), and instead of the Empty, “Clark” got kidnapped while trying to protect “Don” from loan sharks. Also Clark works at Wendy’s because I’m nearly sure my mother has no idea what a Johnny Rockets is. “Don” isn’t lying to Noah about his past as a hunter, He’s lying to Noah about his past as a gangster. I had to edit some details but the core of the story remained. When I explained that Clark wasn’t making a move on Don because Clark cares more about Don’s (seeming) happiness with Noah than about his own feelings for Don, my MOTHER said, “AWWWWW~~~~” so sadly and sorrowfully, I swear to god in the heavens above she had tears in her eyes. She reacted similarly when I dropped the “I’m not your mistress” on her, though she said she understood Don, told me “Well I would be going crazy too. You have your whole life, your marriage, how are you supposed to drop it?” … When I got to the point where Clark says (and I’m paraphrasing here, as I did to my mom), “Because I love you and that’s what I would do,” she gasped and physically had to walk out of the room to get herself a martini. She came back and I continued. I got to the mug and I did a Noah impression, hands on my hips and rolled my eyes, “I’m SoRrY, bUt I’tS jUsT a MuG. i DiDn’T mEaN tO…” She just firmly said in the most tired-of-bullshit-voice I’ve ever heard, “Get the fuck out of here.” After all that WHEN I FINALLY FINISHED. I asked her who was her favorite. She said Clark. I asked what else she thought. She said: A) Clark should’ve stayed dead he’d be better off than dealing with all this bullshit. B) “Is this a movie? Are they gonna make this a movie?” Anyways, Sorry about the long ask but I just wanted to thank you for giving me and my mom a good laugh.

I have this headcanon where you’re his betrothed.

Geo daddy who lives rent free in my head wants to experience a mortal life, and he has to go through a trial like other mortal beings where he will experience mortal love and go through the agony and suffering of losing a loved one 

This is where you come into the picture

You belong to an ancient sect called Emei who are tasked with protecting and taking care of you, dwelling in Mt Aozhang

Due to your status, no mortal is allowed to see you so you’re pretty much cooped up atop the mountain, spending most of the time gazing at the world below

It can get very lonely

Therefore when Mr Zhongli comes to visit you, you’re always so happy to see him and your helpers always ensure you are dressed well and looking your best whenever he arrives

You and Mr Zhongli have met occasionally, standing under the luscious shade of the trees or sitting by the pool to talk and spend time together. You’ve always enjoyed listening to him talking about Liyue’s history and culture. He will always bring you flowers too.

It went from simple chats whilst standing rather far apart, then eventually you were comfortable enough to sit quite closely together and have wine/tea, and finally, you went on walks whilst holding hands

Every time he leaves, you miss him very much

One day when he’s visiting, you think he feels the same because he gazes at you with such longing and you spend more time together than usual 

Before he returns to Liyue, he kisses your hand. He would normally leave after bidding a fond farewell and a ‘until next time’, but he holds your gaze longer and brushes some hair from your face, caressing your cheek before leaning forwards and pressing his lips gently over yours

Diluc

If Diluc liked someone, he’s calm and quiet about it 

No-one would even know he had a S/O or someone in mind

Lots of girls like him though he does not return the affection and they scream and cry, wishing he would look at them the way he looks at his falcon

And you actually had your first kiss with him 

It was at night, and you’re the accountant of Dawn Winery so you were working late, going through the invoices with Master Diluc sitting beside you. It was just a normal day at work but you wonder if the rumours were true - that Master Diluc liked you

And you don’t remember falling asleep, but Diluc looks away from his book and glances at your direction when he feels a weight pressing against the side of his arm

And there you are, having fallen asleep on his shoulder with pen in hand and he lets out a gentle sigh, puts down his paperwork

He murmurs your name and gives you a shake but you don’t wake up

It’s getting really late so he lifts you out of the chair and into his arms so he can carry you to the guest room, when your head lolls over and your lips smacks over his mouth

You would think he gets flustered, his cheeks matching the colour of his hair - but Diluc is still calm despite this and carefully peels you off and you flop against his chest, and you wake up.

“Huh? W-What happened? Why am I…?” You mutter groggily, before you realise you’re in his arms and your mouth feels a bit wet; you automatically trace your fingers over your lips. You can taste grape juice. Huh???

“We kissed.” He says bluntly.

Childe

You are an agent of Fatui and you’re sent to look after him on a regular basis which is pretty annoying because that means you’re basically his babysitter

And he’s always up to no good and he likes to purposely wind you up and you usually get into trouble for it but he actually really likes you so you have this kind of love/hate relationship with him

He looks easy-going on the outside but deep inside he’s thirsty for blood and lives for the thrill of da kill, and on this occasion you’re both going to train together and this will totally give you an opportunity to clap his cheeks but he gets super hyped from battle so you will have your first kiss in the most unlikely places

Essentially when you’re sparring together, Childe is fighting as if he wanna kill you and you’re doing your best to either defend or retaliate but oh my Archon, he’s a Harbinger for a reason - and the kiss happens very spontaneously but most likely when he’s swept you off your feet and you’re seeing things upside down but if you’re going down, you’re gonna bring him with you and you manage to hook your leg around his ankle and he goes tumbling

You land on your back with a loud, painful thud 

When you open your eyes, he’s lying on top of you

You’re not used to him being so close and on top of you as well, and it appears neither is he

In fact, he looks a little shocked for a brief moment (an expression you’ve never seen before) but he’s quick to react and he’s smirking. 

Panting heavily, he goes, “Hah...hah...what’s with that look on your face?”

You’re so stunned by this close proximity, you can’t even utter a single syllable and he’s not fooling anyone either with his act

And as you both continue to stare at each other, his grin slowly vanishes and suddenly he’s looking at you with half-lidded eyes before he slides his gaze to your mouth.

Before you can speak, he leans down and kisses you roughly

As quickly as he had kissed you, he is hasty to retreat and you’re left gawking. 

He gets up to stand, his hydro blades vanishing upon his will. He throws a quick glance at you from over his shoulder and tells you practise is over.

As he leaves, he licks his lips and traces his thumb over his bottom lip

Previously on BnHA: Shinomori, whose name took me an entire week to memorize, was all, “nice to meet you Deku, I’m ten feet tall, do you want to know how I died?” and without waiting for an answer explained that he kicked it from old age at forty thanks to good ol’ OFA. Deku was all “wait a minute, then how come All Might, who’s fifty-five and is definitely dyeing his gray hair, is still alive?” First and Shino were all, “we really have no fucking clue but we think it’s cuz he’s quirkless, JUST LIKE YOU!” So basically, since quirkless people don’t exactly grow on trees these days, Deku is probably going to be the last user of OFA. The chapter ended with Nana being all, “psst, Deku, about my grandson. Uh, can you kill him?” which is sure to lead to a very interesting conversation this week.

Today on BnHA: Nana And The Gang are all “so, Deku, how can we put this delicately. The thing is, we’re pretty sure that AFO really fucked my grandson up, so on the off chance you can’t save him, how would you feel about, you know... [throat slitting gesture].” Deku is all “idk you guys, I kinda feel like he’s really just a traumatized child at heart and he’s in a lot of pain and stuff and so I should try to help him.” The Vestiges are all “BUT WHAT IF YOU CAN’T” and Deku is all “BUT I WANT TO TRY, DAMMIT” and the Vestiges are all “well when you put it that way, we, uh, were just testing you, so congrats, you passed!” The chapter ends with First being all, “ANYWAY SO WHY DON’T YOU TWO SHY BOYS STANDING OVER THERE IN THE SHADOWS COME SAY HELLO” before we CUT AWAY FOR ANOTHER WEEK, goddammit.

A/n: So sorry I haven't been writings much for the last little bit of summer my computer didn't work so I had to do most of the writing on my phone which kind of de-motivated me and now that my computer is working again I should be able to work on more of them. Also, I did start up school again so stress is high. Don’t mind the text but also it is true she is the world's cutest assassin. Gif not my own. Unedited as always.

It was late. It was nearing 1 in the morning. It was one of Tony’s famous after-parties. It was just you and the Avengers. No overbearing senators, no fans gushing over how Natasha is a poser. To be fair she is a poser but that didn’t bother you. While no one else might not be watching you were. Natasha was your best friend and long-time crush.

Before you had joined the Avengers you had a crush on Natasha. How could you not she was Natasha freaking Romanoff. Her hair was a beautiful shade of fiery red and her green eyes were so dazzling. She was gorgeous and her skills only made her even more attractive to you. When you did join the Avengers (due to be enhanced) you and her bonded immediately. She taught you the ropes. Helped you pull pranks on Steve every now and again you even help with trying to set him up. Safe to you fell hard and fast.

“Y/n you gonna answer? Clint asked you truth or dare,” Nat's voice pulled you out of the drunken dream state you were in.

“Right well I think I’m going to go with dare,” confidently you said. You had been picking dare all night because Steve and Clint liked to get invested in your love life a little too much and with the alcohol, you had ingested tonight you didn’t know if you could pull off a convincing enough lie.

“Right ok I dare you to let me text your crush,” Clint responded slurring his words a bit to indicate he was a bit tipsy but not full-blown drink yet.

This was gonna be ok you could just pull up any random number and have him text them. But you didn’t want to spring that on anyone. So reluctantly you handed over your phone. Not before opening it to Nat’s contact. Thank god you didn’t have her under her actual name or had a photo of her for her contact photo. “Right here you go.”

As you handed Clint the phone his face lit up like a Christmas tree. He quickly typed out a text and sent it before you could regret giving him your phone. God, you hoped this wasn’t the mistake of a lifetime. From beside you, Natasha’s phone buzzed. She of course just brushed it off thinking it was a coincidence.

You woke up at around 1 in the afternoon. The hangover you had was monstrous. Nothing last night was really clear just fuzzy images fading in out when you turned to look beside you. That’s when everything came rushing back at full force.

Clint had dared you to allow him to text your crush- the punishment for not completing a dare was a shot of Asgardian mead. Of course, the person you liked was sitting right beside you. Natasha was your best friend. Was it cliche to fall in love with your best friend? How could you not fall in love? She was gorgeous her slightly wavy red hair and green eyes complimented each other perfectly. She was smart, witty, courageous, sassy, and truly loyal just made you all the more attracted to her. So as Clint texted the woman beside you, you began fretting what she may think. After the text was sent and you could feel the vibration of her phone in her pocket you hoped she would just think it was a coincidence. To your great luck, she did, or at least that is how she played it. You allowed yourself to breathe believing you were in the clear.

But you were all but clear. Natasha hoped that the reason her phone had just buzzed was that it was you Clint texting her. Natasha wasn’t one to believe in a higher power but if she was praying to all of them that you liked her back. She was hopelessly in love with you. She had been since the first time she met you. The thought that you might like her back never crossed her mind. You were smart, kind, and fiercely loyal. Natasha needed someone like that in her life right now. She wanted someone to depend on and rely on. She knew you and she were close friends so in all reality she could rely on you but she wanted more. She was content with just being friends but she wanted more all those guys she took home would never compare to you.

It was your turn to ask someone. Naturally, you turn to Steve to see what truths you could get out of him. Or even better what sort of dates you could get him and his super-soldier serum in trouble with. “Stevie. Truth or dare?”

Natashas blood boiled. She hated that you called Steve that. She wanted to be the only one you called nicknames. She didn’t have that right. No, not yet.

“Not picking dare last time you almost got me arrested. So ask whatever burning questions you have because no way am I going to jail this time.”

"Oh come on Stevie you're no fun. Fine whatever. If you could kiss anyone in this room who would you kiss?" You questioned.

It took Steve a minute to answer. "I would have to say Bucky."

Bucky's face went bright red not use to being flustered he immediately hid his face in his hands. "Steve," he choked out from behind his hands you assumed it was meant to be strict and stern but it came out more like a whine.

Steve got up and walked over to Bucky kissing him (which Bucky reciprocated) then dragging him to his room, not before rushing quick goodbye leaving you to be in charge of asking someone once again.

"I guess it's my turn again because the capsicle left?" You scanned over the different members of the team left. Only Clint, Tony, Vision, Wanda, and Natasha remained. "Nattie truth or dare?"

Natasha heart sang at the nickname, immediately she answered "Dare." "I dare you to kiss the person you fancy." God out of anything you could've picked why this dare. Well, whatever she hadn't had time to check her phone to see if it was you who texted earlier so she took a leap.

She wasn't one to back down from a dare. She pulled you close to her and smash your lips together hoping this wouldn't ruin the perfectly good friendship you and she had. it took you a couple seconds to recognize what was happening but when you did you reciprocated the kiss. Teeth clashing tongues fought for dominance but in the end, you let her win. The kiss was messy but it was great soon the need for air became overwhelming so she pulled away first you chasing her lips.

"Wow," you mumbled under your breath.

Natasha mumbled something too but you could hear her too lost in the replay of that kiss.

You dragged Natasha away to talk not without some whoops and cheers from the rest of the group and Clint yelling "Finally."

You are pulled out of your thoughts by the redhead beside you. "Y/n. Y/n, do you regret last night?" insecurity seeping into her tone. The same tone that is usually filled with so much confidence.

"God no I love every second of it especially that part."

"Yeah, that part was really great."

"Listen Nat as fun as last night was I don't just want that. I want us."

"I want that too. I have wanted that since you first joined the team. You can just ask Clint I would just rant to him about you. How your hair was perfect of how your eyes always seemed to radiate happiness and calm even in the most stressful situations. God, you are just perfect for me Y/n."

Tears began welling in your eyes. Slowly they began to fall Nat kissed them away gently soothing you. You cuddled in closer to her. "I love you Nattie."

"I love you too любовь."

Your happily ever after was achieved at that moment. Finally being able to tell the former KGB assassin that you loved her. Even though some may say you were moving fast. If they knew how long you and she had been friends and said it platonically even though you wished you could say and have the other know what it meant it didn't matter. You love Natasha Romanoff and nothing could change that ever.

@justbeingedgy @weird-colombian-gurl You asked me to elaborate on the "Ches already has a kid" theory in the notes of that one mf analysis post (which I really liked, go check it out!!), so that's why I'm making this one, cuz notes are a bit too restricting for what I want to talk about!

Though next time think twice before asking me to talk about something I'm interested in, because you never know when you're gonna wake up lovecraftian horrors!! :DDD you'll see what i mean when you press read more :))

So, I'll say it right now - this post is largely inspired by the second story highlight of this Instagram user (sorry, I don't know their name, only that their Instagram handle is dee_girl_metalfamilyfan), it's in Russian though, so keep that in mind

Alright, so I'll break this theory into two parts: the first one will be all about Ches, and the second will be about his potential child (spoiler: you might've seen her!)

Without any further ado, let's get to the Ches part:

1. The creators said that they're gonna explore Ches' character in the second season. Obviously, it doesn't mean anything on it's own, but just wait.

Dima: Let's talk about the second season a little. Of course, the seconds season will show development of the old characters, as well as new ones. That's in short. As you see, Ches looks a bit different here.

Alina: Yeah, we'll show a bit more about Ches at the ages of 18 to 20. His past. We'll reveal a bit more about his complex character, as much as it's possible.

(The source of the translation) Also I think they also said at one point that adult Ches will get some character development too? But that's probably a given, considering that we wouldn't see his youth if it wouldn't have affected him in the present, flashbacks without any relevance to the overall story don't sound so good

2. Not sure about this one (we don't know how much in character it was) but I can't not mention it.

Alina: Actually there was this one fanfic that I really liked. I don’t remember what it was called, but it was about Ches having a daughter, which is a cool topic. It was relatively in character and truly interesting. It’s great when people focus not just on sexual relationships of the characters, but also try to look at their development. That was a really interesting one. That’s it.

3. This one's a pretty big one, in my opinion. So, this is what they said on ArtWave '19:

Dima: Ches also has flaws.

Alina: [to Dima] Don’t spoil stuff.

Dima: His flaw is that he's very... irresponsible, let’s say.

So, maybe, just maybe, Ches does have a child but he, you know... left them? As the Instagram highlight from the beginning say: "he might be irresponsible enough to leave his child, and he's probably irresponsible enough not to use any contraception" (rephrased, not the exact quote)

4. Alright, so, the only mention of this one I can think of right now is the aforementioned Instagram highlight. The Metalfamilyfan says:

I contacted Korg/Корж, (admin of @ metal_yama [and I believe one of the organizers of the Metal Family Meetup in Moscow]) and she asked Alina on one of the meetups: "if Ches were to be a father, what kind of father would he be?"

And she said: "The kind of that would say "kid, look at that birdie over there!" an then he would run away"

5. Ches has literally been through the same thing, and we know how important the theme of the cycle of abuse is in Metal Family (or, in this case, the cycle of neglect? Abandonment? Idk)

6. Here we can see Ches with a blonde girl. Nothing too special, probably just a one time hook up. He doesn't seem to be interested in her, and she seems to be annoyed with him.

But wait...

What is this?

Like, it doesn't even matter if there's actually a punk/rock/whatever band named MOM or not, I just think it's pretty weird to put it in this particular drawing of Ches and this random woman who is implied to have slept with him. It's not integral to Ches' character as, for example, Korol i Shut is. It's just... there. For some reason.

Alright, now, finally let's get to the second part of the theory: who is, exactly, his child?

The short answer is, according to this theory, her:

First, let me list every single instance of her appearing in canon (and by canon I mean everything made by the creators. Even with this definition of canon it's not much, I promise): The screenshot you can see above on the left (it's a screenshot from the second season and it appeared here), an instagram story posted by Alina (above, right), and two drawing with a lot of characters where you can spot the girl which I'm gonna call her PinkHair or PH for short, I'll mention them later I feel like I should mention this, comparing the sources of the images and the dates when they were posted, it's safe to assume that the screenshot in the classroom has the latest and final version of her design. The red hair most likely doesn't mean anything

1. Alright. So. we've seen Dee and PinkHair in a classroom together, so they're most likely related in some way, or at least they know each other. Their exact relationship doesn't matter here, because all that matters here is that they're related story-wise

Let's look at the first image. This is the banner of the main Metal Family channel. Ches is near Heavy (they get along quite well and I'm sure Heavy aspires to be like Ches in many ways), Dee (we can see his classmates/friends near him, they're all about his age), and we can see people related to Glam on the left side of the image (including Ches!), and Vicky's - on the right side (notice how the hell sign is also there)

Now, I'm not absolutely sure about this one, but it's still kind of weird - look at the image on the right (it's from ArtWave 2021 btw) - wouldn't it make more sense to put PinkHair near Dee? Also, Curiously enough, not only is she not close to Dee on this image, but she's also standing next to Ches.

Though this whole thing could be explained by art theory (too many small things in one corner of your drawing isn't great composition wise lol sorry PH) but I still can't quite skip this point

2. Remember the "MOM" lady? Fun fact, she has the exact same pearl earring that PinkHair has on the screenshot.

3. I'll put all similarities with her supposed parents in this point: Mother: * She's also pretty uh.. glam? for the lack of a better word? Or feminine in a traditional sense, yeah I think that's a better way to put it. Like colors they prefer to wear for example, and jewelry. Characters like that aren't common in Metal Family * She's gotta be a blonde. I can't imagine her being anything but blonde. If she manages to maintain that hair color as a brunette I'm just straight up assuming her character arc is gonna be killing God because these kind of people are capable of anything. I fear them with every fiber of my being. * I can't say for sure because of the shading, but it seems like they both have gray eyes, and she also has darker skin compared to most MF characters. Though, it's likely that Mom just applied a lot of fake tan Ches: * We know that Ches for sure has darker skin * AND grey eyes * There's also some possible personality similarities but I'm not sure if you can compare a child to a parent they've never really known in this way

QUEEN OF THE SOUTH FINALE 5x10 POST-EP REACTION

holy fucking shit!! it’s over!!!! wow wow.

get ready for some ramble-y ass, v unorganized, first reactions to the finale, because i am wine drunk and emotional and still trying to get my heart down to a resting pulse and i have so many thoughts

- okay that was a damn gripping episode, i was on the edge of my damn seat the whole time. i went in with like 99% faith that teresa and james were gonna come out alive but they still had me STRESSED the whole damn time!!!! like even tho i was seeing the little signs throughout the episode that it was all a plan my heart was pounding like crazy!!

- i went into today thinking as long as teresa and james were alive in the end i would be happy but then rewatched a bunch of old episodes right before the finale and remembered that i did indeed care about pote and kellyanne and really actually would be upset if they had died, so i was quite stressed, especially for pote at the end!! when he’s fighting boaz!! which also! was super badass btw. all the sicarios backing off at the end!! lol at the random dude who save pote’s life by making boaz take the “sicario’s challenge” tho (which like? lol what?) like okay haha

- everyone loves chicho so much haha him and pote are so cute!!! i love how much chicho gave his all for pote and KA this episode, i’m sad he couldn’t come w them but it was SO CUTE to see chicho with marcel at the end!!! building a bunch of legit businesses and growing the PCCC!!! i love that journey for them.

- i really didn’t think pote was in on it because honestly i didn’t think he would be able to be that good of an actor (the character, not the actual actor, hemky is amazing lol) but i mean pote really pulled thru. he let all his damn emotions out for that performance cuz i was fully convinced he didn’t know until the end when it shows them telling him. actually i got an inkling when he was saying goodbye to marcel and chicho and gave marcel the ~gift~ from teresa lol.

- i do wish we had gotten more flashbacks because like when exactly did james figure out that devon was gonna order him to kill teresa? when did he tell her? did they figure it out together? teresa said she had a boat on standby for TWO YEARS does this mean the plan had been in place that long??? like before james left phoenix??????? or was the boat just always there and the plan came later??? idk tho. i watched 3.05 today and the “if they come for me, i’ll be ready” “if they come for you, I’LL be ready” REALLY HITS A LIL DIFFERENT NOW TBH what if james already had an inkling and when devon showed up that night it confirmed his suspicions.. and they started planning like. that night after they fucked. dude. idk the wheels are turning too fast in my brain rn. ik they probably just planned it this season after james was “let go” by devon and they knew it was too easy, and maybe just in the past couple weeks’ episodes. but who the fuck knows!!!

- i still wanna know how exactly they faked her death. no confirmation on the powder/ coke theory.. and no discussion of the coke habit if it was one. but if this was the long game situation and they’ve been planning all along.. maybe that theory still holds water.. idk y’all that’s the explanation i’m going w because i can’t think of anything else lol

- okay THE ENDING OMG!!!!! was it a bit cheesy and predictable and entirely too short? yes. did i LOVE IT ANYWAYS OMG LOOK AT THEM THEY’RE ALIVE AND HAPPY!!!!???? YESS BITCH okay by the end i was just so damn relieved that they were alive i honestly didn’t care that the teresa’s-alive-reveal happened like 4mins30secs before the end lmao because they were a beautiful almost five mins. i may get saltier about it but LOOK how happy she is!!! look how happy james is!!! and pote and kellyanne have a sweet lil child that teresa and james can be auntie and uncle to and it’s SO CUTE I NEED ALL THE FANART SINCE TERESA AND JAMES DIDN’T ACTUALLY GET A SCENE W THEIR HONORARY NIECE😭😭😭 FEN?? -also i LOVED the appearance and disappearance of The Queen there at the end!! her little approving nod and willing departure!! and that james was the one to notice her floating off and bring her back to earth from her final vision or hallucination of her queenpin self!! and then he makes a toast to their new life!! the one that she risked it all to build with him!! ahhhh i’m emo y’all!

- i am also still a little confused about some things tho, namely, why exactly did devon suddenly order boaz to back down and send pote to solitary confinement for protection?? was it really just because he believed he was being the “good guy” and that pote was doing his “deserved” time (even tho it wasn’t even for cartel stuff but ok) and he didn’t like the way boaz did business? cuz i feel like he wouldn’t care that much about pote’s safety even if that were the case i mean.. he wanted them all dead like two seconds before that.. i really don’t get that so if anyone has insight please lemme know!!!

He hadn’t really planned to stay the night. Really he hadn’t. That was the first thought that finally processed through his brain as he woke up. Now he sits up in a bed that isn’t his, yawn echoing in a room that also isn’t his, blinking sleep out of his eyes.

Before he takes in his surroundings, he mentally prepares himself for whatever disappointment may come as he scans the room. But there’s nothing immediate. No note telling him to be out by a certain time. No one’s disgruntled ex walking in on him laying there. It’s a nice change of pace. But still, he really didn’t meant to stay.

He shifts in bed, back cracking a bit in protest, begging him not to move just yet. So he lays back against the sheets (there’s a sweet, balmy vanilla scent from them. one that warms him up in a way that he likes) and closes his eyes for just a few moments more. But a few moments only lasts about a minute or so until theres a vibration on the nightstand next to him. At least his phone was close by. He extends an arm to pick it up, checking who it is.

Mina.

She’s not prying. She never does, since she’s used to this by now. She just asks if he’s ok, if he’s awake even. And he has no problem texting back a simple “im fine. be back later” and “good morning btw” before setting his phone aside again.

9 am. That wasn’t too late. He still had time to get in a morning jog before class.

If he gets up now, that is.

With a sigh, he actually rises, stretching again before he searches for his discarded clothes on the floor. He gets dressed in his usual order (trying his best to ignore how bad the feel of day old clothes are to him) and goes to the bedroom door.

Before he leaves, he figures he should at least check and see if this apartment is empty, to at least see if there’s anyone anywhere else in the apartment. A few more stretches, just to get the blood flowing, and he leaves the room. He looks at the few pictures on the walls framing the door, and smiles at what he sees. He can tell these two friends must be important, seeing as they show up in almost all of the photos. But he doesn’t look into them too much, even though he wants to. He shouldn’t pry. So he continues his little search.

But he doesn’t need to look far when he turns the corner. Because he finds Sana right there in the hallway, a plate in one hand and a glass of water in the other. And she flushes an even deeper shade than she had when she was under him last night.

“Well um... I wasn’t sure when you’d wake up before I left or not, but I made breakfast? I was gonna leave it on the nightstand but I should’ve known you’d wake up. You seem like the type to not sleep in. But I’m sorry I really should’ve known. Let me just-“

Momo steps forward and takes the plate from her hands. “Did you eat already?”

Sana blinks once. Twice. “Yeah I did.”

“Ok that’s good. How about I sit back in bed and eat this and we can talk? At least until you have to go.”

“Um, sure.”

They walked back into the room in silence. Sana sat the edge of the bed, watching him as he ate diligently. He thinks about teasing her for being so trusting of him, being willing to let someone she’s known for only a few days oversleep at her apartment, and even be willing to leave said person alone. But he doesn’t, and they stay silent. It went on like that for a while, until Momo got to the last of the three pancakes Sana made for him.

“This one is shaped a little weird,” Momo laughs, “ran out of batter?”

Sana shakes herself from her staring, getting a little flustered again. But inly slightly so. “Well it was supposed to be a dog... I figured since you talked about how much you thought of getting one it would be nice.”

“Oh... I see,” he smiles to himself. And now that he looks at it, he supposes he can see it. If he closes one eye. And maybe tilts his head. He goes back to eating, but the next question makes him nearly choke on the food in his mouth.

“Did you want this to be a one time thing?”

He takes a swig from the glass to ease his choking. Then looks to Sana.

“What made you ask that?”

Sana twirls a few strands of hair around her finger. “Well you were dressed and all. I thought maybe you wanted to leave and have that be it.”

That confuses Momo more than anything. “I thought you were gone so I had planned on leaving. I left the room to check actually.”

Sana nods like she doesn’t quite believe him. Not that he can blame her really. He doesn’t necessarily have the best track record.

And Sana asks again, “So, did you want this to be a one time thing?”

He looks back down at the plate. If he were being honest, he doesn’t know. He really doesn’t. He had fun with Sana last night. That was sure. But he didn’t know Sana too well. All the more chance to learn about her, yes, but what if something went wrong? What if he got invested just for her to get tired of him? It’d happened before. So who was to say it wouldn’t happen again?

His hand clenches and unclenches nervously at his side. Sana must notice, he thinks. But he doesn’t really know what to say when he’s put on the spot like that.

Thankfully, Sana speaks up for him. “Hey,” she calls, voice soft, “I can tell you’re overthinking something. Not sure what, but I do the same.” She scoots a little closer, testing the waters. He’s not going to push her away. Not when she managed to have such a soothing presence despite her being the focus of his dilemma. “How about you finish eating and I’ll head out?” There’s a certain sadness clinging to her words, one that he doesn’t like. He wishes clearing up her worries was simple.

...But maybe it doesn’t have to be so hard.

“We have each others’ numbers,” he states.

Sana looks just as confused as he had before. “We do...” she trails off, waiting for him to elaborate.

Instead, he takes the chance to take in all her features. The way her eyebrows are currently quirked up, the roundness of her cheeks that he knows only get fuller when she laughs or smiles, the slope of her nose, the softness of her lips. He doesn’t look into her eyes, but for the brief time he had last night, he remembers how warm they were.

And then he continues, “You have my number. You can text me whenever. I’ll respond.”

Sana doesn’t say anything for a bit, and he worries that isn’t enough of an answer. But then a light, airy giggle graces his ears, and he lets out a little breath he didn’t realize he’d been holding. “Ok,” she sighs.

“Ok?” he asks back.

Sana makes a little hum of approval. “Yep that’s ok.” She leans over and presses a kiss to his cheek. It feels nice, makes his heart flutter a bit. “You can text me too though, you know,” she teases as she gets up from the bed. “Maybe today even.”

Mom watches her as she grabs her things before heading back to the door. “Maybe,” he smiles. And with a think thrown his way, Sana walks out of the room. And it’s only another second that passes before he hears the front door slam closed.

It was strange how much could be said between them with only a few words.

Once again, you spend most of your class time with color pencils, coloring the edges of the paper you wrote on that morning. You shade in hearts, lollipops, and cute things of the sorts.

The writing, in perfect pen, just compliments him on the kind things about him. His beautiful smile, his joyful laugh... oh, just everything you love about him!

Even thinking about him makes your chest all fuzzy, plus a little twing of anxiety.

You have started putting love letters on his shoes in the getabako, which is a fine venting system to get your feelings out directly but anonymously, but when will you get tired of it? 

Putting your love letters in such a dirty area is disgusting on your behalf, too, but it’s better than risking it to try and put them on his desk.

It’s not going to satisfy your need for communication for much longer.

He’s also obsessed with Sonia, which isn’t a plus on your behalf. Just thinking about it gives you a headache. 

Souda, make it make sense!

You sigh through your nose once the bell rings. Pack up the color pencils and wait for him to put on his shoes and leave. That’s easy. 

Just like every other day.

He talks with Tanaka when he walks, passing your classroom. You distinguish his voice immediately.

It’s interesting, actually. The two of you have almost never talked. Well, maybe a bit.

You’re a nice friend of one of his classmates, so when you often get free time after school, you can sneak your way into the bunch.

Every conversation with him is ingrained into your memory. You couldn’t stop being amazed by him! His hair, his smile, his eyes. You complimented it all!

Now, you follow their voices down the hall, waving bye to your peers while slipping the note in your book bag.

Thoughts start to slip into your mind. What if he is going to start waiting by his getabako? Has he planted one of his friends to try and spy you out?

Maybe places them there isn’t safe anymore.

Or you’re just being overly suspicious. Jeez, this is all too overwhelming!

After putting on your shoes, you look over. His locker is void of people after all. 

Again, you put the note on his slippers before walking away.

How embarrassing.

The next morning, you wake up early to get ready for school. 

And then, you take time to start writing your love letter of the day.

Your mind seems to be occupied recently with Souda Kazuichi. Is that really healthy? 

Maybe you should start focusing on other things.

You should paint your nails. Yes, that’ll help!

What color does Souda like? He does like pink, doesn’t he? Pink will do then.

Sitting, with music playing softly in your house, you paint your nails a vibrant shade of pink while the sun begins to open up in the morning sky.

Being slow isn’t exactly your whole deal. So you were cautious enough to paint your nails after getting all ready. And with wet nails, you pack your halfway written letter and head out the door.

You blow on your nails the entire time there, whining once you notice the smudges on some of your fingers. Embarrassing! You should have spent more time to wait for them to dry. 

It doesn’t matter all that much anyways. Not like anyone will notice your nails.

Souda is putting on his shoes by the time you get there. Around the same time, how romantic.

You smile a bit.

“Hey, Y/N!” He greets. You take a short time to scan his person for the note. It’s tucked into his pocket, you can vaguely see. At least he has it.

“Good morning, Souda!” You wave to him.

He pauses for a moment. It draws you back a few steps. Is it not morning? Is that not his name? What did you say wrong?

“Did you paint your nails pink?” He asks, eyes wide with amusement.

That’s a relief. But also not. He wasn’t supposed to notice.

“Oh, yes I did, but I smudged them though so I’m not too happy about how they turned out.” Stepping close to him, you display your nails out.

“You did them this morning?”

Every part of you is nervous. What should you say? What can you even respond with? Will he think it’s weird?

“I had the time.” You just say before turning to but on your slippers. He smiles from behind your back.

In class, as usual, you spend your time decorating the card. And since you didn’t finish it in the morning, you even wrote some of the words in different colors! It looks cute, and it’s definitely a way to waste your time. Nothing really goes on in Hope’s Peak Academy. Who knew.

But eventually, after the school day, you put the letter on his shoes. Hopefully he isn’t cheating by waiting.

That always plagues your mind. But he wouldn’t do that.

The walk home is peaceful. The sky is cloudy again, and if you look up, it’s cellphone wires and a blueish grey hue. Not gloomy as always.

Maybe you’re just happy.

Happiness. It’s such a positive thing. A boy - that doesn’t even belong to you - is making you happy? It seems like such a timeless, fleeting thing.

Hopefully it can be permanent.

The morning comes again, where you eat breakfast and prepare for your day at the academy.

You stare at yourself a little longer in the mirror today. Would Souda like you? 

Your hands run down your shirt. Of course he would! You shouldn’t be so silly.

Packing up the daily note, you make your way to school again.

The sun peers down at you. That’s sweet. Brightening up your day.

It makes you laugh a little.

When you get to school, you don’t see him. He’s probably already in class.

You slip on your shoes before calmly walking towards your class.

Oh?

Souda stands, his arms crossed, looking anxious. 

You almost turn around.

Bye.

But he notices you quickly, his eyes lightening a bit. The deep fear in your gut doesn’t go away, only worsening as he steps closer to you. You’re frozen in place. Your feet have melted to the ground.

“H-Hey-”

“It’s you, isn’t it?” He almost looks excited.

“What?” Unbelievable.

“The notes... it’s you, right?”

Your cheeks start to heat. “Just tell me if you planted someone to wait for me to put them down. Is that how you figure it out? Jeez, I assumed you weren’t going to cheat like that!”

Every possible emotion swirls through his eyes for a second before settling on a soft smugness. He pulls out a letter from your pocket, and twisting it to show the back. “You smeared that pink nail polish on it.”

Honestly, you had assumed that had happened. It wasn’t a big deal until he noticed your nails that morning.

He continues, “But yes! I love the notes you give me, I was looking forward to them every day! I really think you’re cute, S/O... so do you want to go on a date with me... sometime maybe?” 

His confidence drizzles the more he went on.

Your heart levitates. It is like your entire body is surrounded by hearts.

“Oh, of course! That would be lovely!”

The two of you stand there, bewildered by each other. It’s quiet for a second.

“I - uhm... see you after school, then?” He suggests.

“That would be lovely, Souda.”

A blush forms on his face. “You can call me Kazuichi.”
