1. Our lovely Athlete with a nerd darling.

- This would be funny. It is giving black cat × golden retriever. So hard.

- Darling has anemia? She's used to sitting around and reading? Can't walk too long to save her life? He's fucking carrying her everywhere.

- Can you imagine darling bringing a book about his sport (I don't know if you've mentioned what he plays) to the game and reading as they watch him play cuz they don't know crap about sports? He'd be so, "But you're supposed to be watching me." :Insert puppy eyes:

- He's isolating darling? Eh, Darling needs a 4 hour nap after every social gathering anyway.

2. Him with a nerd darling who's a childhood best friend, where darling has a childhood filled with emotional and physical abuse. (I'm finna design a whole ass character to ship him with. If you don't mind, of course.)

LoveSick!Athlete can really mold and mend well with most personalities and darlings, this is due to his manipulative personality. A little off-topic, but he really has a hard time understanding who he is because he's always pretending to be what others deem "acceptable". This causes him to have a multitude of identity crises, but when his darling, you, comes into the picture, it makes it easier for him to find himself. He feels like he's the real him whenever he's with you. You just feel so natural, he feels natural, too. It's just right.

And for that reason, I think LoveSick!Athlete would go really well with a childhood!reader, seeing as she's been with him since they were young. And, I'm not too sure if you've read my Yan!Alphabet for him, but I mention LoveSick!Athlete's childhood; let's just say it wasn't the best situation for a kid.

LoveSick!Athlete would feel a special bond with his darling now, seeing as they've been together threw thick and thin. He's trama bounded to you, and you to him. We'll run off the assumption that reader has also had a bad childhood, whether it be an absent parent, abusive sibling/family member/or parent, whatever it is allows you to feel a connection to LoveSick!Athlete, seeing as you have a mutual situation. You both have something to bond over, something that locks you together.

He has a bad home environment, you have a bad home environment. He doesn't feel at home, so you become his home, and he to you.

And I like to run on the assumption that reader is all talk, no bite. And if you've read any of my writing where the reader talks, you'll see that I prefer to write reader as more "real" (to me anyway) because I'm personally not the hugest fan of the "helpless" reader. I like to write a darling who has a mouth, someone who's bratty (but that's 'cause I'm a brat lol).

Anyway, I'm getting off-topic, back to LoveSick!Athlete.

To your idea about a snarky reader, I totally agree. Honestly, LoveSick!Athlete would eat that shit up, no joke. He would love it, as he enjoys the back-and-forth between you two. He loves to press your buttons, wanting to see what sarcastic reply you have ready for him.

The thing is, he knows your just talking shit, never willing to actually do anything. You just run your mouth, and he lets you, but whenever you step outta line, sometimes, he's gotta put you back. Though, you'll never think of it like that. No, no, he's too sweet for that. He's gotta keep that golden retriever vibe going, y'know?

He just swat you on the ass, telling you that you got such a dirty mouth, mamas? I thought you were my little princess, no? Girls with a face like yours shouldn't be speakin' that like-

He'll just move on, as if he didn't just grope your butt, nope, not at all. And you'll be standing there awestruck, face red, and biting your tongue as you try to not overheat in embarrassment!!

It never ceases to entertain him, watching your face widen with surprise whenever he refers to you as his girl, his cute little girlfriend. The way your face heats up when he wraps his strong arm around your waist, putting his cap on your head (a silent sign of possession over you, trying to get the guy in the back to keep his eyes to himself, but you don't need to know that ;)).

In your little monologue, you go over some cheerleader girl (named Cindy??). Though I would agree that chicks (and some dudes) practically flock around LoveSick!Athlete, I would say that he doesn't even pay them any mind, not even entertaining the thought. Don't get me wrong, he'll talk to them, but make it painstakingly clear that he's only got one girl on his mind, you.

Most of the time, the girl will just find it endearing, slapping his shoulder, and telling him that he'd make a great husband or some shit like that. Of course, the chicks joking, making some nice comments to leave the, now awkward, conversation, but LoveSick!Athlete will take it to heart. Now, he's imagining a pretty ring on your finger, something he paid for, he got you. Because he'd be such a good provider for you, don't you know?

Another thought, 'cause I'm on a role, but I'm not sure if I've directly said this or not, but LoveSick!Athlete is a hockey player. I've tried putting strickly hockey photos on all my posts (you should see my Pinterest feed, it's filled with hot guys lolol).

Hockey is an aggressive sport, I would know. I used to ice skate every day for an hour or two. And, trust me, I got to see a lot of hot guys, though I was always too nervous to say anything, that's beside the point.

I can imagine that reader would be the same, intimidated by these testastrone-filled, young men who just wanna get all sweaty and gross. And I prefer to think that reader also doesn't know how to skate, much to LoveSick!Athlete's enjoyment.

Just to torture you, he'll take you to his ice rink, partly wanting to show you off, and also wanting you to rely on him to move around. He won't even let you hold onto the side, nope, all you got is him, babes.

And anyone who's been to a rink before knows that if you're not on the wall, or smack in the middle of the rink, you're in traffic, especially if it's busy. And this means that you gotta go fast, keeping pace with everyone else. And there's always a handful of assholes (usually hockey players) who will purposefully do a hockey stop, flinging a shit tone of ice at newbies.

I imagine that this shit would happen all the time and LoveSick!Athete is enjoying it sm. He gets a rush every time you flinch, clinging onto him tighter, especially when the really fast skaters zoom by you, scaring the crap outta you.

And he won't let you go at your own pace, forcing you to follow his lead. This means you're going far too fast for comfort, leaning on him for support. You're arms wrapped around his bicep, which isn't recommended btw. Your cheek pressed against his arm, holding on for dear life.

You'll snap at him, telling him to shut up and stop enjoying this, you dork. I'm only clinging to 'cause I gotta!

And he'll just take it, giving you a lopsided smirk.

YES protocol droids are from star wars! that is in fact what the gold guy (c-3po. my babygirl) is.

So in star wars sapient robots are called Droids, and the different types are often referred to by their jobs; Battle droids are the silly canon fodder who say roger roger, and Artoo (R2-D2, lil blue guy in the picutre, and YES <3 he does make noises good job <3) is an Astromech droid, meaning, well, he does mechanical jobs in space. he fixes spacecrafts, sometimes from the outside while they fly, and has various gadgets and technological skills.

The yellow one, C-3PO, or threepio for friends, is the main protocol droid we see in the series, though not the only one. Luckily, he is exactly the type of mess of a person that his resume is his catchphrase: "C-3PO, human-cyborg relations. programmed in over six million forms of communication". He also described himself, in the first movie, as "[...] not much more than an interpreter, and not very good at telling stories."

So theyre linguistic AI. Machine translators in a friendly humanoid box. Threepio also sometimes interperts Artoo's mechanical beeping speech for the other characters, so we have to assume that's what Human-cyborg relations is about, even though cyborgs and droids are not the same as all- early installment weirdness is the best assumption because. the "human cyborg relations" phrase or concept has never been menaingfully brought up in star wars for my knowledge. searching it on wookiepedia mostly leads to info about a few protocol droid models and the many times threepio has said it.

But so often in the throes of hyperfixation have i found myself looking at the ceiling going ok i mean i understand but. what IS a protocol droid truly, when u look at it?

A protocol droid was a droid whose job was to aid sentients with their etiquette and relations with each other in the galaxy. They often dealt with event planning, etiquette, translation, and problem solving.

Often threepio is written as more of a butler than anything to do with linguistics. (half the time its not even proper butlering its just written as a servant by a writer who thinks they know what being a butler means but- i digress). He himself is quick to offer himself into those jobs, as well as more mechanical labour-

but then again he also becomes a spymaster at some point (my so beloved poe dameron comics. great comics and great space for droid rights introspection in the new star wars era).

So they're not just translators and interpeters, not just containers of cultural and ritualistic etiquette knowledge, they're, secretary machines. they're robots designed to help humans by doing the most tedious parts of thinking-and-learning for people- being nervous about perfect manners 200% of the time to prevent and prepare u for youur faux-pas, and working out the little details and paperwork and errandrunnig so you can get your thing going.

They're tools designed to let you say what you need without hassle, which is what makes the fact that in a way, Threepio is the narrator of star wars, so fucking awesome and ogod and interesting. they shouldnt have their own thing to say, but look at him go. he'll try to convince you he doesn't but thats precisely why you need to look at him go.

No wonder he is practically the main chrarter of the first 25 minutes of the first movie- not only being a lowly robot secretary make him a good everyman, this is a machine designed to kind of get across where you are and what's happening, lol.

Just. When I started being insane tm about this language generating software ("AI", salami, whatever u wanna call a neural network doing that stuff) was not even close to as big a thing as it is today. so that has definitely changed some stuff. but thats the thing- threepio is not using likelihood based processing he is An Actual Knowledge man. he loves boring u with facts. So he actually knows things, and- he's such an old machine. Anakin built him as a child, that was from old parts. yet he keeps kind of, growing as a character with his own personality (droidds developing unique thoughts and personalities by gaining experience is called Metaprogramming in star wars fiction), he also adapts to culture. he's always a wimp but hes much more subserviant when owned by fasicist imperials than he was when working with his good friend and master's secret wife padme, and he's a bit more confident in the sequels, in his own pathetic way.

So he reflects culture. he participates in society despite being designed to be a passive tool of it, and despite standing on the outsides of it due to. being treated as such, as A Droid, A Thing, or at best, even amongst friends, an annyoing old queen.

I simply think if the writers of star wars were as fascinated as I am by the technological implications of naming robot diplomats after the real life technological concept of protocols and exploring what does it mean to do thoughts and works and what is The Grave Omportance And Role Paper Work Can Play In This Space Opera Adventure, things would be great. because i love space bearucracy forever and the robots that do it re cool especially the homosexual mentally ill ones

Since we never really knew very much about the History of the Octarian Rulers, I decided to put up and design my own interpertation of Octavio's Family starting with his own Parents who I imagine them be. In my headcanon, Royal Octarians have Different Colors of their own besides than having some Pink/Purple/Red colors that most of the Octarian citizens have just like how Inklings and Octolings have their own Different Colors of Ink. Emperor Susanoo Takowsa and Empress Kushinadahime Shogun, the Former King and Queen of the Octarians in a Generation of the Royal Octarian Family until their own Son took over the Throne. Susanoo was the Son of The Great Octarian King Tsukuyomi and the Octarian Queen Amaterasu. As an Octarian Ruler to the Royal Bloodline, he was rather Ruthless, Cold, and Serious for he never saw Inklings as Friends but rather enemies who would destory their own turf lands, though he often did treated most of the Octarian residents like his own People for Good (which was the only thing that he did care about but he didn't care about other Marine Species besides than the Inklings who he hates). As Octarian Ruler, he used to have some Salmonids as Slaves who most of the Octarians have captured until when one Salmonid escape and became King who was somehow responsible for ending the Salmonid slavery from the Octarians. Much to Susanno's display, he was much of a tyrant (which makes you wonder why Octavio is like that). He even recieved his own Scar on his Right Eye in one of his Last Wars. Kushinadahime on the Other Hand was not so much of a Tyrant nor was she a Cruel Ruler like her Husband but was rather Gentle and was the More Calm one compare to her Husband's Attitude. As a Different Ruler she was, she was more faithful than any other Spouse as she often did treated people with respect by her own wisdom and kindness since she often look more down to earth, she was indeed incredibly often tired of how her Husband was towards Others (which makes you question on why she was married to a Racist Scumbag of an Old King) but despite their own disagreements on things, they still loved and cared for each other regardless. Like her Son, she was fond in the Art of Music (though it wasn't really Funky Beats or Anything that is Pop Music, but was rather into the Ancient Writings of Old Timed-Music something like from the Ancient Times or the Medieval Era). As their own relationship with their Son, Susanoo wanted Octavio to learn the Path and Righteousness of Being a Future King while Kushinadahime bonded their Son with Patience and Good Care as she did taught their one and only child about the Balance between War and Peace but still treated her child with pure love. In case if you didn't get the reference to those names, they're named after actual Japanese Deities from Shinto Religions (Susanoo, God of Storms and Waters & Kushinadahime, Goddess of Rice and Agriculture). Most of the breaths are canon breaths however theres also some fan-made breaths that derive from canon breaths.

Here’s a few possible FAQs that I’ll answer before they are asked

Q1: Why do Brave AND Mala have Dance of the Fire God?

A1: I felt it was best for both of them to know. Gingerbrave because he’s filling a Tanjiro role and Mala because of her Tribe

Q2: What’s with Adventurer’s Estate? Why are some helpers listed as “Part-time?”

A2: Adventurer’s Estate is like KNY’s Butterfly Estate, by being used as an infirmary for injured demon slayers. While there are members of the corps other than Kakushis that help around the estate, some of these members only help during off time, and at other times are out on missions or training newer members, such as Blackberry

Q3: Why is Sugar Swan the leader of the Corps? Wouldn’t Millenial Tree be a better fit, or even the two leading together?

A3: I went off LINE canon of Sugar Swan basically being a creature of life and peace, they’re so passive that they barely move and every move they make is graceful. At least in this AU, Millennial Tree and Sugar Swan are in a relationship, but Millennial Tree decided to be a pillar on his own terms. Also Sugar Swan isn’t a swan in this au so calm down.

Q4: Wow Moonlight how come you get TWO tsugukos?

A4: Lesbianism. Actually on a serious note it’s because I didn’t want to make Wizard or Cream Puff above each other in any way. In canon works they’re both connected to Moonlight Cookie and I’d like it to stay that way.

Q5: Will you make AU designs for all the characters?

A5: Not sure yet, but probably a hard no. I’m a busy ass person and that’s easily over 100 cookies to design. Unless I find a group of people who would want to work and develop the AU with me, I’ll probably go here and there with designs and work on who I want to most likely. Design interpertations are always allowed and welcomed though

(i dont have any big changes in mind for opals gym it was pretty perfect, if it was Real Life bede would not be in the running cause id smash that whole thing up, opal would NOT be able to resist my level of pink, if anything its  just a little plot changes, stuff i was already uuugh about)

(long before her mom retired, opal was a Scientist, but before that she had tried to break into acting ; despite at the time being just a young teenager she was turned away from auditions and even guilds for looking too old, defeated she gave into her mother's pressure and attended a college, she ended up being at the forefront of the verging bio-technology field)

(ability: insomnia, moves: Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Dazzling Gleam, Synchronoise)

(she took over the gym when her mother retired as per tradition but didnt really put much interest in it beyond the barest minimum, between the gym and her work she didnt have much room for a social life, and not to use the word interest again, but she wasnt particularly interested in settling down with a family, she had one of Those moms who are like oooh i had to give up a careeer to haaave you, despite like, having a whole entire gym, after some horrible science gone wrong tho opal was happy to retire from all that nasty business,she taught for a while and for a short time bellonlea was a bustling college town)

( i think ill have the gym challenge be in parts like a sit down before hand before the practical, i had gotten really excited about the build up thinking we were going to see a gameified bubble test ffggfd,,,,wow,,,anyway, if you get one wrong youll get shocked! one of your pkmn have a 50/50 chance of getting paralyzed, you can cheat with your rotom phone? if it was a game and not a comic there’d be a mechanic for that, if you get caught you get kicked out but opal will let you try again, cause cheating is pink but its not pink that you got caught but it IS pink that youd come back like nothing happened, like, super pink)

(ability: healer, moves: heal pulse, aromatherapy, draining kiss, toxic)

(another shiny! also,  a note, this was another design i didnt appreciate at first but now i really do, i was hoping like many others that it was going to get creepy but theres a really like mature restrain in this design, still conveying a plague doctor while also being french aura’d really a 10/10 design)

(on stage hot air is in effect! i think you should have to dress up before hand like from opals costume room? you get stat boosts when she likes your clothes pick and stat lowering when she doesnt, youre getting points based on the move like a beauty contest and not a battle so you cant just attack mash your way through)

(ability: cute charm, moves: sing, perish song, wake-up slap, disarming voice)

(once youre done with that, its gym battle time! the astroturf is like grandma carpetting but like, extra plush, theres glowing mushrooms and moss and a Strange Fragrance in the air, this is a kind of fairy terrain!)

(ability: rattled, moves: ice fang, outrage, crunch, lick)

(this is one of my fave pkmn and i think its silly that its not fairy fighting! i could just chance it in the emulator, live my dreams,,)

(all fairy types have a less likely chance of taking status effects and have a chance of recovering from them without the aid of an item, or waiting multiple turns, all pkmn sp attk or sp def might be raised or lowered at random, theres a chance non-fairy type pkmn might not want to battle at all similar to the effects attract has so youll miss a turn (certain abilities make a pkmn immune to this probs stuff like pkmn with intimidate, pressure, ect) 

(ability: normalize, moves: sleep talk, copycat, assist, foresight)

(the fragrant air has a 30% chance of putting non-fairy type pkmn to sleep, for normal and dragon pkmn its a 50% chance! its like at the start of your turn thing, poison type attacks can do less damage, but enough poison can turn the air noxious! like in any battles, and that deals poison damage, ill figure all the air stuff out later, i think adding another way the field can be effected would be fun :> )

(using her considerable resources, she launched a luxury fashion and beauty brand using her past research to develop make ups, lotions, textiles and the like, so when she finally fully retired from academia she had a Nice nest egg to sit on while putting her focus fully on her gym)

 (call her professor poplar and she will ignore you)

(already in her 70s when the chairman was elected to the position by the league's board, she was v set in her ways and didnt adapt to dynamaxing right away, she eventually gave in tho, her gym and the city is far less razzle dazzle than you'd expect from someone like opal, in part because she refuses outside sponsorship and "makes due" with simply being a modest millionaire)

(ability: aroma veil, moves: acid armor,topsy-turvy ,me first, stored power)

A vent, a true vent. Don't be rude. Respect.

If you are a sensitive person, don't read. This is a warning. Don't judge by my fandoms either, I may know what you think when you see my url. My fandoms does not have anything to do with this post.

Listen up, I am not a westerner or an old blog. But I don't feel like I have to be an old blog to understand how terrible it is to be in western side of fandom. Sorry if my wordings can be too harsh or rude for others.

(Beware : This post does not have any intention to discriminate or comparing fandom base on their nationalities. Please respect my intention, I have no ill will here. Read all of post content, don't judge by the early part only)

The main problem with common typical western fandom is they push their standard on show contents and I started thinking it is beyond tolerable limits. Remember this : As long you don't get involved with show making especially character design and plot (which common a huge deal concerning character design), you technically speaking does not have any right to shame the character because it does not meet your standard. You can always give your frustated opinion by reshaping it to softer way and send it to author's twitter or any social media account. That way no one have to read your vents about series and indirectly called you out right? Also it is a make sense solution with lesser damage.

Other problem that I want to point out is lack sense of respect of diverse opinion. How can you talk about diverse issue if you can't handle different opinions? How can you talk about love but still spread and show hate? It is acts contradict words.

Please learn to calm your head, it does not have to end up with public shaming through call out or reblogs, anon hate messages is not it? Learn to discuss things in private message, learn to disagree without fight, just learn to speak soft and direct. You definetly find friends that way, loneliness and hatred can be avoided as well. You reap what you sow.

World is bigger than internet arguments about who is win or who is losing. If talking about diverse is your favourite then just do it, talking to locals and try to understand how their works and encourage them to talk on their own. Cheerish their spirit and give harmless suggestions to show themselves. Winning is less important if it cost losing friends.

Learn to appreciate and love original contents as well, the team is all working hard for making , atleast that I personally believe like yeah different team different result.

I suggest for making fanarts based on original contents to avoid intensing frequency of far from canon type of headcanon (shortly : OOC and off genre*) that affect other's impression towards the series and characters. (I have a personal belief that frequencies of an image of something whether bad or good will affect the real fact we are dealing or facing.). Oh anyway off genre is just a word I make that means 'fanarts about that is not even the story is about' (except it is about uh...sensitive issues, depends on each countries for that) but hey remember where the show origins as well, learn to adapt, not to force your idea. Oh well different circumstance call for different responds, altho I personally think it is better if I can understand cultural reasons, humor style, plot reasons like yeah for lessening 'cultural shock(or something like it) (yeah that is me who want to, not you. Unless you want to).

Anyway if you interpert all of these as showin' dislikeness about how fandom works. You are wrong, this is not about that. I make suggestions for improving how fandom and typical tumblr works, i have belief that things can be improvised.

Down with ego, open ears for listen, learn to disagree without fight.

SUNMOON POKEDDEX DAY 4 - Favourite Water Type: Primarina

There were quite a few interesting water types in gen 7 but I chose Primarina because not only it surpassed my expectations it only has a lovely concept. I do have some personal issues with it though, mostly regarding the design and its functionality and also the fact that it’s a tad too much “ocean primadonna princess” and a bit too little “slightly menacing siren” though there is something slightly unsettling about it. In a good way.

Anyway, since like 50% of the design seems to be some kind of accessory I chose to interpert the mane and some of the frills as seaweed because I just couldn’t bring myself to make it actual hair. I thought that being such divas Primarina most likely like to accessorize themselves with things they find in the sea. Trainer owned Primarina probably have better accessories but the wild ones will need to settle with things like seaweed and garbage that is thrown into the ocean. I would probably choose to do things differently later on, with more time and effort, but this is what I got for now. Still, it’s a very nice Pokemon.

Studio II- Interperting the brief

“Design and make a deck of cards that encourage, frame and/or facilitate play”

We have been told to interpret what this means on our own. I have re read the brief over and over and the words that stand out the most to me are play, facilitate and encourage. From these words I have started to build my idea for my prototype. 

My idea is to create a children’s game which can also benefit blind or partially  sighted people with cards that are multi sensory. One card will consist of a 1/3 of an animals body. It will also include what animal it is (eg. Cat) and will also include the braille version of the word. The animal on the cards will include textiles so that the player’s are able to gain a visual understanding of what that animal may look like originally and how it feels. 

I really want to be able to create something for the blind as sight is one of the most crucial senses to have and without it people can continue to live but they lose the connections they have to their visual parts of the brain. With being able to touch it, children and people will be able to develop a sensory perception and allow their visual parts of their brains to be exercised. I also developed on the idea of imagination in play through splitting up the animals across different cards. This can allow children to create their own creatures from two or three different animals.  

This is just a very quick prototype of what it could look like:

I first came across my idea but further deepening my knowledge on the idea of play. Play is the engagement in an activity for enjoyment ad recreation, rather than for a serious or practical purpose. Play is also mainly shown through children's activities whereas play between adults usually have an alternative motive. I found a resource which helped me to understand the value of play for games and how I can turn this into something useful for my deck of cards. 

REFERENCE 1: People before me who have studied and written about play have, among them, described quite a few such characteristics; but they can all be boiled down, I think, to the following five: (1) Play is self-chosen and self-directed; (2) Play is activity in which means are more valued than ends; (3) Play has structure, or rules, which are not dictated by physical necessity but emanate from the minds of the players; (4) Play is imaginative, non-literal, mentally removed in some way from “real” or “serious” life; and (5) Play involves an active, alert, but non-stressed frame of mind.

I really would like to go through with this idea and be able to create a game that isn’t just enjoyable and educational for kids, but can also help them visualise what they couldn’t before and allow their imagination to create new and exciting creatures. I want my cards to be contain sensation and fantasy, linking to the characteristics of play shown above.

Since there have been Two of My Favorite Cartoons involving around Sea Cultures around my Life, I felt like wanting to draw Two Fictional Mermaid Characters (One, a Canon One, and the Other, an Fan Interpertation/OC) as their own Main Inspirations that are indeed both based upon one of the Greatest FairyTales ever written by one of the Famous Fairyteller themselves (Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid").

From Left to Right we have is Marina from "Zig and Sharko" as Ariel (Disney's version) and Salacia (My Version) as Marina (Toei's version). I wanted to draw these two together while being dressed as a mashup to their FairyTale Adaptation Counterparts since it felt very inspiring that not only did I base Salacia off the Goddess of the Same Name, but also to an Anime Character from one of the Obscured Adaptations out there, which tend to remind Me so much of Another Mermaid character who was also inspired by the Pop Culture version of the Said Fairy Tale.

For those who are curious to know what "Zig and Sharko" is (or at least have never really had watched it before), it's basically a French Slapstick Cartoon about a Hungry Hyena who wants to eat a Mermaid, only the problem is, the Hyena can't have the Mermaid as his lunch, so the Mermaid's Boyfriend (who is a Great White Shark) protects his Mermaid Girlfriend from the Hyena predator who wants to Eat Her. It's made by the Same Company that did "Oggy and the Cockroaches" and "Space Goofs" (Xilam).

As someone who loves watching Foreign Animated Films, I also have a soft spot for Foreign Animated Shows besides than Anime. Not that any other obscure cartoon also had slapstick, but also perhaps Story-Driven like the Ginga anime series. I'm sure there are people out there who have seen Other Adaptations of The Little Mermaid like Me but whenever people tend to hear, "The Little Mermaid", you can only think of the Disney version since the Other Adaptations are just hardly-known (which is sad, to say the least). 

So a little fun-fact about my version of Salacia of what you folks didn't know, my own interpertation of Her in the World of the Wacky Adventures of the Silly Sponge is losely inspired by the Character, Marina from The Anime Adaptation of "The Little Mermaid" (which came out around in the 70s long before Disney's take in the 80s). Funny enough, not only did I based my own design on Salacia off Toei's version of one of Hans' lead characters but I also borrowed the Personality in terms of Character Potrayal Similarites. So much like Z&S's Marina being a Parody Character of one of the Famous Disney Princesses, My Salacia is also a Parody of a Non-Disney Princess (who is Another Adaptation of the Same Story). Quite satisfying fact, hence, why I drew Salacia with that Other Mermaid Character.
