tizanidine as a drug is bonkers because the fact that "horrifying nightmares/night terrors" is just, like, a thing that can even be accepted as a common & normal medication side effect in the world is very wild

but it feels all the more nuts because it's a muscle relaxant, like, oh, you're in pain, or having spasms, or muscles/connective tissue are too tight & knotted up, maybe even FROM stress? we can fix that + make you very sleepy haha. but WATCH OUT

Proud of this boy! He walked around the block for the first time in probably a month!!!!!

I bought some new treats to lure him with, lol. I used Zuke's salmon training treats, he must really like them! This little magnetic closure pouch from Swaggly is so nice, had it for a few months now. I wish I'd had it full when we started off today, it was touch and go in several spots on the walk, I used all my treats including the Charlie Bear treats I still had in there. We got to the end of the block with the house where the Three Tiny Terrors live, (Boston Terriers), he hesitated, I used my last treat. It was sink or swim, he swam! I was so proud of him!!! He seemed very happy! I think he realizes that he's missing out on sights and smells that he used to enjoy, maybe he just go so frustrated that he decided to push his anxieties aside a bit. He did initiate the longer walk actually, but if it weren't for the treats he would have stopped and gone back at the first house just around the corner. Tomorrow remains to be seen.
