Happy Fifth Anniversary to Clone Force 99 !!!! ❤️🖤🩶🖤❤️

it was exactly five (5) years ago on this date (Feb 21st) that Hunter, Crosshair, Tech, and Wrecker made their onscreen debut in The Clone Wars Season 7 !

it feels like this time with our boys has been forever and a blur at the same time. i wish we could have had more seasons with them; but with the release of their 4-issue comic miniseries and full-length novel this year, it looks like CF99 will be sticking around one way or another for the next five years :)

mere words cannot express what this show and these characters have meant to me these past five years. there have been tears of joy, tears of happiness, and a neverending abundance of admiration and love. i know they're just pixelated people on a screen, but they mean the world to me and have changed my life for the better.

my deepest thanks go out to all those involved in creating and bringing The Bad Batch and their story to life, and for keeping it going for three wonderful seasons.

and my thanks go out to you, tumblr community! it has been an absolute joy getting to laugh, cry, scream, and fangirl together with you these past five years. your discussions, memes, artwork, gifs, photosets, fanfics, merch, and zines have made this show even more enjoyable and memorable. thank you!!!!!! and here's to the next five! 🫡💖

He helps where he can #Sometimes all we need is a parent figure giving you a hug and saying ''You know what? You're right - this sucks. But I see you''#Fionna's quite interesting 'cause like - she's meant to be a Finn but there are a lot of differences between her and quite a few Finns!#A lot of that is Because she lived in Simon's head for so long but I wonder - most Finns have decent support systems and she seems a little #Well not lacking Exactly but her fallbacks aren't as numerous - and she's not able to fulfill her life's purpose so she's just kinda wayward #Seeing that kind of Finn finally able to spread their wings but still have a lot of Finn trappings like naivety and impulsivity ♪#She's interesting! I quite like her :D Plus it's cool to see her natural EQ when she calls out Simon later in this episode unknowingly haha #I stopped at episode eight for a while but year her line about ''Then you got on the bus right? :D'' and him refuting it #Hmmm ♪ It was certainly interesting - I'm glad they addressed it :)#Plus she's fun to draw haha ♫ Her bunny ears! me and my dad are like abed and jeff in the way that jeff always gets abeds references, theyre two characters that mirror eachother, they understand and relate to eachother in a way thats different from other characters relationships, but also in the way jeff fantasises about strangling abed, "you try to get him to do something normal without abusing him!", "youre a robot, abed". and still jeff goes in for two hugs before abed leaves.

I'm currently rewatching FMAB and I can't stop thinking about the similarities between the Elric brothers and Idia and Ortho...especially that one scene where Edward is screaming "give him back! he's my only brother!" as he binds Al's soul to the armour...pain

#FMAB is such a great anime #my favourite part of rewatching shows is discovering all the foreshadowing the creators since the beginning...#like episode 1 alone establishes so much of the plot...truly a great example of how to begin your story #also I only noticed *now* that the person in the first OP is not Ed but his dad...like right at the beginning #it's literally young Hohenheim -> Trisha -> Ed and Al #'I still have too long a life ahead to get rid of these feelings right?'#'I want to try doing over the things I've left undone' <- THOSE LYRICS ARE FOR HOHENHEIM #I could write essays about all the themes in FMA #something something indomitable human spirit #kay shouts into the void
