It's part 2 of my series It's not like I've got something grand to say to you & I wrote it in one go within a few hours but I'm rather proud of it, especially Levi's characterisation. A word about this series: it will be a bunch of "chapters" requested for a drabble challenge that I decided to write as parts of the same story.

I love Terra's (@dont-f-with-moogles ) story Never Enough & I wrote this drabble inspired by the series as a gift for her birthday. Once again, Levi's turmoil inspired me.

This one was requested by anon & it's a Pikuhan fic (with a side of Levihan, I can't help it!). Actor AU is really a good setting for stories, I love to see them all being alive & well! For Levihan, I think neither of them generally began sleeping in proper beds until after the return to Shiganshina, when maybe, they shared a room sometimes, if not a bed itself. Considering their characters— Levi's lack of self preservation, Hange's tendency to escape when troubled, or tendency to desire to escape when troubled— then this could have happened on some late night, when Hange finds Levi knocked out cold, asleep with his head on a table in some space that isn't his quarters. He's too selfless to go to them directly for help sleeping when he knows nightmares have worsened, and Hange's been trying to deal with their own mental health proceeding the slaughter, but this moment in time was their moment of, "Enough is enough." From then on, they swapped between each other's rooms and did their best to sleep as well as they could.

🏜️ What's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

Well, I'm a fairly unpopular author, so theoretically, I'd love one that shares the reader's thoughts on what happens next, one that says how it has emotionally impacted the reader, or one that analyzes my [attempted] usage of literary elements (so by a conclusion based on the trend... One that shows I've left you thinking). Oh, or one that curses me or threatens me as the author. That'd be the dream.

🍦 Name three good things about a character you hate.

You are the embodiment of evil for this one. Okay, well, Floch Forster. He made the correct decision in changing his hairstyle in Season 4, he must have impeccable grip strength if he was able to hang onto the boat at Odiha for so long (unless it was via ODM gear? Can't recall), and he appears to be a well written character. That's all I'm willing to grant him.

26 - If you had to choose one, what was THE most satisfying writing moment of your year?

I think this happened in early 2023, I finally figured out Levi and Hange's personal conflicts for the next part of BMO. I have all the beats down for the plot, the skeleton drafts, but it isn't fleshed out. I went for a walk and stewed it over and it all finally clicked into place :) (Does this even count if it's not technically writing lol. all part of the process though)

29 - If this were an awards show, who would you thank?

I started to write this fic as part of the Levihan Kinktober from last year (1 work per day for a week, each inspired by one of the seven deadly sins).

Day 1 - Lust is set during A Choice With No Regrets, after Levi is introduced to the scouts (and Hange gets very excited seeing his moves). That same night, alone in the lab, Hange decides to blow of some steam thinking about the new recruit...

I wrote about one page, but got really intimidated, it being my first time writing smut, so I ended up losing confidence and setting this project aside.

I never deleted it, though 👀 uahauahaha
