If Punch line can trigger Jason easily what would happen is she ever met Harley?
Let's explore that!
Punchline: First Session
Masterlist is Here!
Tumblr media
"I need your help."
Harley perks up, gasping, and rushes over to hug Batman tightly.
"I never thought this day would come," she says, jumping up and down and clutching a gauntleted hand. "Yes!! Yes I would love to be your therapist! We have so much to work on, starting with your parents. I really think you never internalized the event and haven't given yourself any space to grieve after —"
Her hands get squeezed gently, recapturing her attention. Blue eyes meet white lenses, and she furrows her brow.
"Okay, that's fine!" She sighs. "Can't say I'm not disappointed, but if one of your kiddos is looking for help instead, I'm still more than hap—"
"Not one of mine," Batman gently interrupts. "This is a...very delicate case, Harley."
"What's delicate mean in this context, Batsy?" She asks. "Delicate like schizophrenic? Delicate like CPTSD? Delicate like one wrong word away from explodin' and killin' everybody in a mile radius?"
"Delicate," he says, "like...this might hit too close to home for you."
"Me?"
Batman nods. Harley hums, equal parts curious and cautious.
"Any good psychologist worth her salt won't let a personal connection get in the way of providin' aid," she tells him. "If the patient isn't somebody I can help myself, I'll help ya find someone who can. When can I meet 'em?"
--
Your file lies scattered across the floor of the cave. Harley stares wide-eyed at your picture while she trembles on her hands and knees. Bruce, having changed out of his suit, kneels beside her with a steadying hand on her back.
"Oh," she whispers, "Brucie, she's so small for her age. And her age!! Sh-she's..."
Harley shakes her head. Bruce continues rubbing small circles in her back. When she leans against him for support, he holds her upright.
"How'd he keep a kid hidden for eight years?" She whispers, voice thick. "I know I fucked off to go play Happy Family with Ivy, but..."
"Nobody knew," he says. "Harleen, don't play the blame game, not for this. He kept her a secret for a reason; no one was supposed to know."
Harley lifts her hands to her face, rubbing her eyes before any tears can well up and fall. She takes deep, calming breaths, gathering her focus, then carefully collects the papers and stands with his help. She draws a pad and pen out of her pocket.
"I ain't promising anything," she says, looking up at Bruce. "This is...this is a whole different ball game, 'specially with that chucklefuck as the daddy. But I'm gonna try, okay?"
He nods. "Take your time. You were the first person I thought of, but don't force this if it's too much."
Harley gently squeezes his hand in acknowledgement. She walks past him and down the hall towards the containment cells, heels clicking quietly against the floor. She dug out her old coat with the name tag pinned to it and even threw her hair back in a low braid to appear as non-threatening as possible. The closer she gets to your door, the more the wonders if you would've been more comfortable if she showed up in her combat getup and mallet.
"Miss Punchline?" She calls, stopping in front of your cell. A cursory glance of your environment tells her immediately that you're under-stimulated. She writes that down. "I'm Doctor Quinzel. Do ya mind if I come in and chat with you a while?"
You cease all movement. You'd been sitting with your back to the door, gently stroking the head of the teddy bear Alfred gave you while muttering Mistress Mary's nursery rhyme, but when you hear her, you practically turn into a statue. Unless she actively stares at your back, Harley can't even see you draw breath.
"Miss Punchline?" She repeats calmly. "I won't come in if you don't want, but I'd really like to talk to you."
"...Popsy talks about you, sometimes," you say. Harley can't decipher your tone, but the words make her feel cold all over. "Says he used to miss his favorite gal."
"I'm sure he's mentioned me once or twice," she says, clearing her throat. "But I'm old news. Why don't you tell me about yourself? I'm gonna punch in the door code now, okay?"
You don't move. Harley unlocks your cell and walks inside, getting a better look at how sparsely decorated it is. The bed is clearly unused and half of the activities left here would cause an ordinary child to lose interest in about an hour without company. Overall, Bruce and his family are keeping you in a dreary room. If she accomplishes nothing else today, it's a guarantee that she's gonna get you better accommodations.
Harley walks around the room until she can see you face-to-face. Once she's in your periphery, your eyes snap to her and follow her every movement like a predator. She lowers herself to the ground, taking a seat a few feet away from you.
"There you are," she says kindly. Your smile is just as placid as the one in your photo. "I like ya make-up. The swirly pattern on your cheeks is very cute."
You don't respond, though your smile widens briefly. Highly receptive to praise. Your eyes don't leave hers, scanning, assessing, calculating. Harley doesn't feel like you're about to attack her, but you're clearly juggling something around in your mind.
"Bet you're thinking about mine," she continues. "Normally I like puttin' on the face paint, but sometimes my pores gotta breathe, you know? Well — the pores I got left." She glances down at her hands, paper white like the rest of her body from her dip in a vat of acid. With relief, Harley notes that your unpainted skin is a healthy color. Even though the bar's lower than Hell, it's nice to know that at least the Joker didn't immediately treat you to a dunk of your own.
"Punchline, I'm gonna be frank with you," she says.
"Nice to meetcha, Frank," you chirp, grinning mischievously. Harley lifts a brow.
"That was funny," she praises. "I know your, eh, Popsy, he places a lot of value on bein' funny. Used to say nothin' was worth the effort if it didn't amuse him at the end of the day. I'm sure you know that already."
"A giggle a day keeps the boredom away!" You say, pitch and cadence matching that of your father's. Harley knows that the grip on her pen is too tight. She breathes deep and forces herself to relax. "Ohh, hit a nerve, Frank?"
"I'm doin' just fine," she says. "What's boredom look like for you and Popsy?"
You separate your hands, fingers splayed wide, and make explosion noises.
"Do you get caught up in that explosion?"
Your smile doesn't change but your eyes get sharp. Harley makes a note.
"It's hard keepin' him entertained all day, every day," she says. "I would know. But I'm gonna tell ya somethin' your popsy probably never has."
Harley scoots a tad closer to you, reaching her hand out and gently taking one of yours. She can feel every bone in your hand and has to utilize all of her training to school her expression.
"It's not your job to make yer popsy happy. In fact, it's not your job to make any adult happy. Grown-ups shouldn't rely on their children for emotional regulation."
"Couldn't rely on you, either, could be?" You snicker. "Since you ran away."
"I left him because he was treatin' me like dirt," Harley says, a little more firm than necessary. "He's real good at drawin' you in, Punchline. Shows you an ounce of praise that makes you feel invincible, makes you wanna do anything he asks to get more of it."
Harley lets go of your hand to tuck a lock of emerald green hair behind your right ear, brushing gently against the shell. The edges are distorted, flatter than your left.
"He's also real good at draggin' you through the mud, makin' you feel like everything's your fault. Like you got no choice but to make it up t'him. Ya never wanna get on his bad side cause he really makes you feel it."
You tilt your head away from her hand, eyes dropping back down to the teddy bear Alfred gave you. You resume petting it, slightly faster and rougher than before. Harley makes a note.
"His anger's always more powerful than his joy, Punchline," she says, "but both of them are destructive. I wanna help ya break away from his cycle."
"No thanks," you say, "if I wanted to be a washed-up, third-rate party clown, I would!"
Harley feels a wave of pity for you. It's obvious you're just regurgitating your father's words back at her, and she's not surprised. Change doesn't happen overnight, especially not for you.
There's so much work to do, but Harley's not afraid. You may look and behave similarly to the Joker, but you're young and still impressionable and already starting to pull away from him without even realizing it.
"I can tell yer getting upset, and that's the last thing I want," she says, climbing to her feet, "so I think this is a good stopping point for today. But I'd really like to see you again. Would you be alright with that?"
You blow a raspberry at her, then cackle. Harley exhales sharply through her nose, giving you a fond smile, and pats your head as she steps past you and opens the cell door.
She can do this. She will do this. For you.
But, first thing's first.
"Brucie, you're kidding me with the furnishings! How's the richest man on the planet gonna put a kid in such a shitty room!? Don't look at me like that, mister. You brought me in t'do a job and I'm gonna do it right!!"

timeless
Tumblr media
18+. mdni. smut. mentions of drugs. no use of y/n!
you find yourself back in hawkins, with nothing but your grandad’s old diner and a bunch of conflicted feelings about your old best friend, can you say goodbye to him all over again?
a/n: set in the 80s but also the 50s idk i just wanted that old timey feeling pretty long fic i was originally going to split up but decided against.. hope you read it and enjoy anyway:)
⋆ and you were headed off to fight in the war, you still would’ve been mine, we would’ve been timeless ⋆
⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆
hawkins was really the end of the road for you.
deserting the dreams of the big city to come right back to where it had all started.
it had been years since you’d stepped foot in this town, not much had changed since then, if you were completely honest.
still the same old shitty, rundown dump it always was.
eternally grateful that your grandad still owned the old diner at the other end of town, meaning you’d flounced right into a job and somewhere to stay once you’d packed your bags and left new york behind.
it’s nothing like the office used to be, barely seeing a dozen customers a day, only if you were lucky. but it was nice, a change in pace after the hustle and bustle of the city.
the radio hums on quietly in the background, a couple of regulars sit sipping their coffee at various tables. they did this day in, day out. drink coffee, complain about some mundane new issue they had with the town and then shuffle off back to their homes.
it didn’t exactly seem like your idea of fun.
there’s a bang from outside, metal hitting the ground and a chorus of laughter pulling all attention to the back of the kitchen.
you don’t hang around, barrelling through the kitchen to just about catch the gaggle of kids sprinting off down the road leaving behind their cans of spray paint and a delightful new mural on the back wall.
“what the fuck? screaming out after them though it’s really no use, they’d already gone.
exasperated that in the seven years you’d been gone, the kids hadn’t changed a bit.
you slink back inside, immediately reaching for the phone, hoping that maybe the police had gotten a little better since you’d left.
though you hold no hope, if they were anything like they were when you were a misfit teen, you’re screwed.
-
the sun had set, the regulars had scurried off home and now it was just you and the crude painting on the wall. hours and hours of waiting for someone to get out to you.
only for the patrol car to rattle up into the parking lot, just as you had given up all hope.
you storm out of the building, infuriated by the nonchalant attitude hawkins police still seemed to hold, “oh, how nice of you to come! i only called three-,” stopping dead in your tracks as the man exits his vehicle.
you still completely, frozen to your spot, blinking rapidly in disbelief.
eddie fucking munson stands, with his thumbs hooked into his belt, at the door of his patrol car. hawkins police department uniform to boot, a complete shell of the man you had known years ago.
“when’d you blow in?” he asks innocuously, slamming the door shut. a new found confidence, or maybe it was cockiness, in his stride.
“last week,” still coming to grips with the fact that the man stood before you was the same nerdy metal head you were once inseparable with, “when’d you become a cop?”
out of all the possible occupations you could’ve imagined eddie munson in, cop would’ve been dead last on that list. in fact, inmate was several dozens of spots higher.
he chuckles, realising how ridiculous it must look, “few years ago,” he’s close now, close enough that you can see his long black curls peeking out the back of his hat, “didn’t know you were coming back, i would’ve been quicker if i’d have known it was you.”
you scoff, very much doubting that, “you should’ve been here hours ago anyway,” beckoning him to the back of the building, no time for reunions while you had a diner plastered in lewd drawings.
“these fuckin’ kids,” you huff, shaking your head like a scolding old lady, “look at it,” motioning at the hideous spray painting they’d vandalised the entire back wall with, “if you were here on time, you might’ve been able to catch ‘em,” turning your displeased scowl to eddie.
the corner of his lips twitches, creeping into a full smile. only angering you further.
“what? d’you think this is funny?”
he shakes his head, cautiously meeting your eye, “no, it’s just.. pretty sure we got taken to the station for doin’ this behind melvalds,” his shoulders shaking as he chuckles.
you stand, straight faced, the irony wasn’t lost on you, it just didn’t feel like a laughing matter.
“are you joking? no, really? you’re serious?” rubbing your fingers viciously over the dried paint, “you can paint this shit since it’s so funny to you.”
“alright alright,” eddie soothes, “i’ll help you paint it,” eyeing the large canvas he’d now been tasked to paint.
“no,” you frown, “i said you can paint it, i’m not helping you.”
he smiles, teeth peeking out from his lips, “you get the paint and i’ll do it, deal?”
driving such a hard bargain, it’s almost impossible not to fall at his feet and sarcastically thank him for his help.
“fine, deal.”
“great,” he beams, “now how about some coffee?”
“we’re closed.”
he exhales, pursing his lips slightly, “please?”
-
eddie blabbers on about the vagrant youths in hawkins, how just yesterday he was dragging some boy by the scruff of his neck back to his parents.
it’s all great, exhilarating stuff really. except, you can’t help but let your mind wander, noting his lack of visible tattoos and a ripped up band tee.
and then further down onto his wedding ring.
wedding ring?
“you’re married?” you blurt out, staring at the plain band on his fourth finger. eddie munson, married. a feat you had never thought possible.
“huh?” following your gaze down to his hand, “oh, no,” sliding the silver band from his finger, “it’s the only one they’d let me wear.”
his fingers once adorned with various rings and shoddy stick and poke tattoos, now plain and simple with only the shadows of once black markings.
“oh,” looking back at his face, “i don’t like it,” shaking your head as if you had any real say on his jewellery, “doesn’t feel like you.”
eddie takes a sip of coffee, looking just through you, rather than at you, “maybe this is the new me.”
you ponder, wondering whether you should get as equally profound as he was, “maybe.. still don’t like it,” turning to slide the rest of the dirty plates through the hatch, “when’d you decide to become a traitor anyway?”
eddie chuckles loudly, the walkie on his shirt crackling incoherently, “a few years ago, it was either this or jail so..”
“how was it between this or jail? what the hell d’you do?” motioning to his iron pressed getup.
he sighs, looking down into his mug, “hopper caught me selling at the high school.. not just weed but,” he nods, making a circular gesture with his hand, “like, real hard shit..” sighing softly again as his eyes meet yours, “he told me that he could turn me in and i’d be lucky to get a couple years, or he could get me a job down the station and we could forget all about it.”
you can’t help the pang of guilt from seeping across your chest. you’d left pretty abruptly in ‘89, much to eddie’s defiance, leaving him to a  town full of people that either hated him or only acknowledged his existence when he was useful to them.
there’s no question as to whether your departure was anything to do with him peddling hard drugs, that was a given.
“well shit,” the frown between your brows deepening, “i’m sorry for opening my mouth,” brushing your hands down your apron, hoping that he would see the funny side.
eddie just shrugs, sliding the empty coffee mug back over the polished wood top, “it’s alright, i don’t mind it actually, not much happens in hawkins anyway.”
“i wouldn’t say that,” you frown, deciding that the mug would simply have to wait until tomorrow to clean, “there’s a bunch of ugly graffiti on the side of my diner,” quirking your brow, hoping it’ll serve as a reminder to why you’d even called him up here in the first place.
his eyes sparkle in the dim light, creasing with contained laughter, “i told you i’ll paint it,” his chair scrapes across the wooden floor, straightening his hat, “where’re you staying now anyway? need a ride?”
you shake your head, looking back at the clock, “i’m at my grandpa’s for the time being.. he should be here soon,” silently praying that he’d arrive so you weren’t forced to ride in the back seat of his patrol car.
certain people would have plenty to say about that for sure.
“alright well.. i’ll see you later,” saluting with his two fingers as he leaves.
an indescribable feeling settles in your stomach. somewhere between melancholy and regret.
maybe things would’ve been different if you’d stayed.
maybe not.
that’s what makes you the most unsettled, it’s a sick nostalgia for something that never even happened.
a question that had plagued you for the past seven years, one you’ll probably never know the answer to either.
you brush whatever wistful, reminiscent reflections out of your mind, turning the lights off to wait for your ride in the mellow july evening instead.
-
the coffee machine hums, the only thing in this place that seemed to be used consistently. forced to make hundreds of bland black coffees for crony old men day in, day out.
that’s how bored this place had you, pondering the feeling of the inanimate coffee machine. jesus christ.
time creaks on by, ticking slowly as the sun clears off and the night settles in. one more hour and you’d be on your way home, ready for another night of re-runs and a stale tv-dinner with your grandad.
you couldn’t complain really, he’d been extremely welcoming, sorting your own little bedroom out for you in his unused office.
tires screech into the parking lot, crunching on the gravel, alerting you to that damned patrol car pulling up again.
you watch as he does his little routine, strolling into the diner with a tiny smile, sidling up to the counter with such an air of self-importance, it actually makes you a little sick.
“you come to paint the wall?” you quip, offering nothing but a tight lipped smile back.
he clicks his tongue against the back of his teeth, “uh.. no, coffee actually,” pointing to the used and abused machine.
“hmph,” shaking your head, “you promised.”
“yeah and i’m gonna do it,” holding his hands up, admitting that this was a battle he had already lost, “tell you what, i’m free all day next saturday, you get the paint and i’ll be here.”
you don’t believe him, you have no reason to but alas, you nod anyway, “you better or you can kiss this friendship goodbye.”
eddie grins, splaying his palms out flat as he shrugs, “so how about that coffee?”
-
eddie makes sure to stop in every single day this week. and next. often for hours at a time until his walkie dragged him away and back to the work he’d been ignoring.
like clockwork, his car crunches over the gravel, swinging in to the same spot without fail.
nobody even looks twice as the bell rings, too invested in the financial times to spare a second of their attention.
“you’re here an awful lot,” raising your brows, sliding your notebook back into your apron.
eddie shrugs, placing his hat onto the counter, “what can i say? i like the coffee,” smiling innocently as he takes his seat.
“oh i’m sure,” rolling your eyes in return, grabbing a mug and pouring his coffee before gently sliding it over the bar.
he stays until close tonight, lingering behind as you lock up, no doubt pretending to offer some sort of protection though you’re absolutely sure that you’d be more capable of fighting off any potential threats than he’d ever be.
you look at your watch, knowing your grandad should’ve been here by now. it was a long, treacherous walk back to his place, not exactly something you wanted to tackle at ten pm either.
“you need a ride?” eddie asks, standing at his car with his keys in his hand.
you press your lips together, taking another look at the ticking clock face on your wrist, “if you’re going that way, that’d be great.”
his eyes roll back, knowing that even if he were driving to the other side of the country, he’d still take you home first, “c’mon,” opening the passenger door as you begrudgingly slink over.
he certainly keeps his car in better condition than he ever kept his beat up, old van. sometimes it felt like you’d die from dust inhalation than his shoddy driving.
“they give you this for free?” you ask, admiring the plush leather seats.
“yup,” tapping his fingers against the steering wheel, “pay for the gas too.”
“wowww,” feigning amazement, “you’ve got it good.”
he glances over, scowling just so, unappreciative of your sarcasm, “who’s the one with a driving license and a car here? because it’s not you.”
your mouth falls open, blinking rapidly at his terrible attempt at a joke, “ouch okay,” hoping he’d regret his callousness, though it wasn’t likely.
“i offered to teach you.. you could’ve been on the road by now,” his eyes leaving the road every other second, fingers itching to rest on your knee.
“pffft. driving lessons from you? i’d rather walk.”
you wish he’d just do it, his hands were twitchy, begging to make contact.
they don’t.
keeping on the steering wheel instead.
but he chuckles, low and grumbly, “dustin didn’t wanna learn with me either for some reason.”
“oh wow yeah, i wonder,” turning to stare blankly at the side of his head.
he glances over, shaking his head before turning back to the road, “you’re so mean,” throwing out a pathetic pout.
the car rolls onto the familiar street, an unwilling sinking in your gut that the journey was over too soon.
eddie taps the wheel, peering out of the window at the decaying row of houses, “jeez,” air blowing out of his lips, “hasn’t changed a bit.”
you shake your head, wanting to stay in the car just a bit longer, “nope..” emphasising the ‘p’ as you follow his eye to the splintering door.
he nods, still staring straight ahead rather than daring to meet your eye, “i’m really glad you’re back,” his fingers playing a repetitive tune on the leather, “i feel like i’ve been waiting for you to come home for so long now that i wasn’t sure if you ever would.”
you hadn’t ever planned on it.
dreams of new york had filled your mind for as long as you can remember.
that was supposed to be it.
and at the start it really did seem like you’d spend the rest of your life there. but a string of tumultuous relationships and an awful
boss had forced you back to hawkins.
“i didn’t think i was ever gonna,” sighing softly, “i’m sorry for just.. leavin’ you,” turning unexpectedly bashful, “i thought about you all the time you know? new york’s not really that great but i think you would’ve made it better,” feeling the heat soar to your cheeks.
it was true, at least, at the start. you’d often find yourself wondering about what eddie was up to or if he was thinking of you too.
“don’t apologise for that,” shaking his head, “i get it. if i coulda, i woulda done it too. you’ll have to show me around one day when i’m-,” clearing his throat, “when i’m not stuck at work.”
he sounds off, something hidden in his tone that you really don’t understand. the moment too tender to query it too much, apprehensive to change the subject just as things had started to feel normal again.
“i can do that,” turning to eddie to find him already gazing back. “you gotta give me a tour of the station first though, it’s only fair.”
“deal,” eddie nods, offering his hand out for you to shake.
you do it, not acknowledging his clammy palm or the way his fingers are shaking just so.
“alright,” you nod, breaking the tension, “i better go, you’ve gotta busy day tomorrow,” reminding him of your long-awaited agreement.
“wait-,” grabbing ahold of your fingers before you’re able to climb fully out of the car.
you turn, eyebrow raised, “what?”
he’s been so strange all night, like he’s edging to say something
“uhm.. what time did you say again?”
you blink, baffled by his outburst, “uh.. anytime in the afternoon, i’ll close up early and come and help.”
“o-okay yeah perfect,” letting go of your fingers.
your face contorts but you keep your thoughts to yourself, he was pretty peculiar at the best of times, this was no exception.
“goodnight eds,” finally closing the door, leaving him to his confusing little stupor.
-
eddie’s there right on time, with a paint bucket in hand and the brush tucked into the pocket of his ratty, paint spattered shirt.
he looks a picture, resembling more wayne than the eddie munson you knew.
“what?” he questions your marvelling expression.
“you look ridiculous,” tucking the cloth back into your apron to get a further look at his get up. his jeans closely resemble the ones he wore as a teen, tattered and torn with spatters of paint adorning the denim. it’s no wonder who he’d stolen his clothes from.
“ouch,” clutching his heart, “i can just go home if you want? leave that graffiti on your wall?”
“i didn’t say that,” tutting your tongue against your teeth, “go on out, i’m just gonna finish up in here and i’ll join ya,” ushering him back out the door.
closing takes longer than you’d expect. mr. casey wasn’t best pleased to hear he had to finish his coffee and go, grumbling all the way out of the door and into his car.
you make it outside just as eddie spreads the last lick of paint onto the wood, “nice of you to join me!”
you stare up at the freshly painted wall, grateful to never have to look at the god awful eyesore every again, “doesn’t look like you needed my help anyway,” feet crunching against the stones as you make your way over to him.
“what d’you think?” proudly showing off his work.
your eyes scan the wall for anything you can make a quick quip about, only to find that he’d really done a great job.
“yeah..” frowning slightly as you peer at the wall, “you just missed a tiny little spot,” gesturing for him to come closer.
“what? where?” stomping over, displeased with your criticisms of his hard work.
“right here,” grabbing the brush from his hand, smearing a streak of dusty grey across his cheek before immediately jumping back to admire your handiwork.
eddie stands in shock, hands in the air while the cogs in his brain tick away slowly, figuring out how to get you back.
he goes for the can, picking up the full metal bucket and angling it in your direction, a maniacal, nay, evil grin on his face.
“don’t even fucking think about it eddie, i’m serious!” dropping the paintbrush in defeat, surrendering your hands in the air.
he cackles, thunderous laughter that makes you shriek in response, hands flying over your face to protect yourself for the onslaught.
eddie bounds over, the paint spilling over onto the floor as he goes, forcing you to brace yourself.
except the paint doesn’t come, daring enough to open your eyes to find him a few steps in front.
“come on,” he complains, “you didn’t really think i was gonna do it, did you?”
“yes! i did!”
he collapses into a fit of laughter, placing the can safely back on the ground, “i would never,” inching closer to prove his innocence.
only, he isn’t at all.
his fingers swipe the paint from his cheek to wipe the dusky colour onto yours instead, a perfect hand print encapsulated on your face.
“you’re an asshole,” grabbing his wrist to redirect his paint covered palm back to his own face.
eddie is, no doubt, stronger than you are. twisting your arm until it’s tangled around your own body. encasing you within your own limbs, held tight by his own unfaltering grip and his chest pressed against your back.
“what was that?”
“you’re an asshole and i’m going to scream if you don’t let me go,” an empty threat really, considering the dreary regulars had all shuffled off home and the nearest neighbourhood was a good mile east.
“i mean, you can if you want to but i don’t think anyone’ll hear you,” snickering into your ear.
you hadn’t anticipated that he’d now had years of experience with apprehending criminals, you were never a worthy opponent nowadays.
you lurch forward, taking both of your bodies over to the wall, eddie’s clumsy clown feet knocking over the tin of paint on his way. splashing the bottoms of your legs and shoes with the ghastly stuff.
you go stumbling into the still-wet wall, eddie following closely behind, pressing your back into the sticky paint. his chest heaves, still holding onto your arm though you’d come to face him now. his fingers twitch against your skin, slotting his between yours, holding your hand against the wall after the most painful few weeks of almosts.
quickly, his other hand comes to cup your chin, tilting it up to meet his. in a split second he goes from staring at your lips to crashing his into them.
knocking your head back against the wall with such ferocity, years of tension and unanswered pining leading to this moment.
“jesus christ,” he mutters through rushed kisses, “i’ve been waiting to do this for so long,” combing his dirtied fingers through your wild hair.
your arms snake around his neck, surely spreading white finger prints across his clothes and into his hair, “you should’ve.”
the sun beats down on your skin, painting his face a glorious orange hue, wanting nothing more than to bask in this view for the rest of your life.
eddie pulls away, pressing his forehead to yours, “you okay?”
you’re breathless, chest heaving against his, “yeah,” falling into a fit of giggles, “yeah.. are you?”
he nods, fingertips gently tucking strands of messy hair behind your ear, “yeah.. well, i’m better now,” ducking his head to lean in and meet your lips again.
you’d read about sparks flying and all sorts of other romanticisms in books for years, brushing them off as exaggerated works of fiction, only now, the very happenings you’d denied were happening to you.
to feel that someone’s lips were made so perfectly just for you seemed absurd, but truly, it was possible.
eddie’s words rumble against your lips, incomprehensible as your brain is preoccupied with processing what was happening.
“hey.. hey,” only really hearing him once he’d pulled away and was staring into your eyes with his deep, brown ones. “anyone home?” laughing at your vacant smile, as if he weren’t the culprit behind it.
“just shut up and kiss me again.”
-
the evening winds down rather quickly, now covered in peeling eggshell paint, your uniform half-off, half-dirtied.
you didn’t mind one bit, slowly making your way inside the diner to attempt to clean yourself up before heading home.
“since we’re in here..” eddie starts, leaving you wondering what was going to come out of his mouth next, “coffee?” eyeing the machine you’d already polished and turned off.
“seriously?” dead-eyed as you turn to face him.
“i wasn’t lyin’ about coming for the coffee,” smiling from across the bar, “i just didn’t mention that i was also coming to see you.”
your eyes roll back instinctively, however sweet he was being.
eddie offers to take you home, a gesture of goodwill after you clean him up and fill him with free coffee. both of you skirting around the fact he had you pinned up against the wall just mere hours ago.
if he’s not going to, you have to.
there was no going to back to normal, not after that, not after he had proclaimed that he had been waiting for that.
“pull over,” you blurt out. too loudly, too rushed that eddie can’t help but panic, questioning your urgency and most likely, safety.
but he follows your orders, pulling into the nearest clearing, all the while looking completely panicked and a little unsettled.
the engine is barely off before you’re sliding over onto the drivers seat, thighs resting either side of his as you skilfully lean down to push his chair back all at once. refusing to give him the chance to jabber his way out of this one.
“hey.. woah, what the fuck?” chuckling softly though his hands reluctantly come to rest on your hips, eyes darting around the dark outside of the window, “i’m in my patrol car.. what if someone sees?”
“who d’you think’s gonna see?”
“i-i dunno,” allowing himself to get comfortable, “but i’ll get fired,” reluctance in his throat.
“you can come work at the diner, you’re there all the time anyway,” interrupting his worrisome whining with a kiss to the side of his lips, taking his bottom lip between your teeth.
he indulges for a moment, sighing softly into your parted lips before hastily pulling away, “i mean it, i can’t,” gazing up to you with his doe-like eyes.
“fine,” you grumble, sliding back into the passenger seat, “d’you wanna come over? grandad’ll be asleep by now,” picking at your fingernails like some teenager talking to her crush.
that’s sort of what he was, an eternal crush that you’d never really get over.
“you sure? we could.. i mean, wayne still lives with me but i’m sure he wouldn’t mind,” eddie offers, though the thought of doing anything in that trailer made you recoil and shudder.
it was cozy and served you well during your adolescence but privacy was nonexistent, every breath or movement was projected very clearly into the next room.
you shake your head, “i’m closer anyway, i’m sure it’ll be fine,” after years of living on your own, debating where the safest place to have sex was seemed like a hundred steps back.
eddie can hardly focus, hand squeezing your knee the entire drive over. any longer and he’d have broken skin, that’s certain.
but now it’s your turn, you can’t keep your paint tarnished hands off of him, the second eddie steps over the threshold and into the corridor, you pounce. wrapping your arms tight around his neck, pressing your lips together with such ferocity that he falls back into the wall.
but he catches up quick, finding your waist as he walks the both of you up the hall, hungrily grabbing at the sliver of flesh peeking from underneath your shirt.
a light at the top of the staircase flicks on, forcing your lips apart.
“hi sweetie,” your grandad calls from upstairs, “good day?”
eddie’s fingers squeeze your waist, sharing a panicked look before you clear your throat, “hey grandpa.. it was good,” knowing full well that he wouldn’t venture out of his room at this time to catch you, “i’ll see you in the morning, alright?” ushering eddie through the kitchen door.
“okay, goodnight dear,” he calls, the light finally flickering off allowing you to release the breath you weren’t aware you were holding.
silently pulling him down the tiny hall and into your converted bedroom, holding in a devious cackle.
it really wouldn’t matter if he had caught you, grandad had always been a huge fan of eddie’s, cooking him dinner and offering him unsolicited dating advice during your teens. if anything, he’d be championing the ship.
“oh my god,” you mouth, closing the door, your room was the tiny office space right at the back of the house, which in hindsight, seemed like the best option now.
eddie’s hands find you again, resting on your hips with a sickening smile, “thought he was asleep?”
your eyes roll back on their own, hooking your arms around his neck once again, “so did i,” guiding him towards the bed, “just be quiet and we’ll be okay,” rushing to unbutton his shirt.
fifteen years of friendship boiling down to this very moment, a litany of teenage tension and hidden feelings bubbling to the surface all at once.
eddie moves your bodies as one, lowering your back onto the bed with tepid hands, coming down on top of you, “i don’t know if i can do quiet.”
“well try,” you hush, connecting your lips in a haste, rushing to unbutton the rest of his messy shirt.
grandad was partially deaf, the likelihood of him hearing anything was minuscule, but you weren’t willing to take that risk.
his tongue swipes across your bottom lip, no longer the novice he once was apparently. groaning softly into your mouth with every slight move of his hips.
you struggle with his shirt, his now-defined arms hold himself above you, leaving the fabric draped around his shoulders. you can’t complain, fingertips tracing over the solid muscle, a stark contrast to the spindly biceps you once clung to.
he taps your hip, signalling for them to move, allowing him to slide your pants down your thighs.
eddie had seen you naked a handful of times, mostly followed by you screaming at him to get or close his eyes. it was different then, when being naked in front of someone was the most personal thing you could ever do.
now it feels natural, his hands roaming your body as if they’ve always belonged there.
tossing his shirt to the ground before working on removing yours, all the while pressing hungry kisses to your lips, jaw and neck. chest heaving with the palpable tension.
it’s mostly silent bar your concealed sighs and the sound of his lips smacking against the crook of your neck.
he’s so hard, nudging against your aching core, you can feel it with every tilt of his hips, painstaking in the way he comes so close just to pull back again.
your panties end up on the heap of clothes last, eddie’s teeth gnaw at his bottom lip, watching the lacy fabric slide over your supple thighs.
“fuck,” gasping under his breath, marvelling your bare body.
his boxers go next, your eyes trailing down to his slick cock, far different to how you’d ever imagined.
there’s a slight jolt in your stomach, wondering why you’d ever waited so long for this to happen.
you’d have to make up for lost time, secret pining and infantile crushes all gone to waste.
two fingers tease your hole, shining in your release as they draw in and out. stifling the squeaks of pleasure into your palm, thighs closing around his arm.
you could truly cum from this alone, so pent up, so turned on that just his thumb tapping at your clit had you clenching around his digits.
“need.. more,” holding onto his bicep, refusing to let him prolong this any further.
“yeah?” eddie nods, “i can do more,” positioning himself at your sopping entrance, waiting for your go ahead to slide in.
“yes.. yes.”
he slips inside with a groan, only, the groan doesn’t come from his lips, but instead the creaky old mattress holding you both up.
eddie freezes, wide-eyed as his hips still. there was no way you could have sex on this old thing, at least not indiscreetly.
your lips twitch, laughing at the sheer insanity of this entire encounter, the world was clearly against the idea of you two having sex.
he falls into a quiet chuckle, still halfway inside of you at this point, “what should i do?” unwilling to disrespect your grandad while also being unwilling to give this up.
you felt like a teenager again, sneaking around with boys you shouldn’t, except, this time you’re twenty five and far too old to be worrying about being caught in the act.
“just- just fuck me,” you order, sick of the karmic interventions. there was only so much you could tolerate before things became too ridiculous.
eddie’s eyelashes flutter, letting his hips move as your cunt envelopes him.
“god- fu-uck,” fingers gripping at the sheets besides your head. beginning to lose his sanity already.
your pants fill the room, closely followed by the sound of his skin colliding with yours. moving in perfect harmony around one another in a bid to keep this as quiet as possible.
“eddie,” you sigh, loosening your grip on his neck only to cradle his cheek, meeting his eye in what was possibly the closest he had ever felt to anyone in his life.
there’s no hope in this lasting much longer, not with the way he was fumbling his words, certainly not with his cock twitching as he reached new, otherworldly heights. though his strokes are slow, they make your legs tremble, his tip nudging softly against your sweet spot.
your chin tilts, pressing clumsy kisses to the side of his mouth, panting in tandem with one another.
there’s something skilful about the way he angles himself, sliding in and out of your glistening pussy, pulling almost all the way back out just to end up filling you to the hilt again.
refusing to think about the implications of that.
“sweetheart i can’t- won’t last much longer,” whining against your cheek, carelessly pecking the soft skin.
“nearly.. nearly there,” you breathe, letting your eyes roll back, focusing on the way his core meets your clit and his soft cries that fill your ears.
this gives him the much needed determination to not let himself topple over before you had. coming even closer as he lowers himself, using one hand to glide down to your throbbing clit, two fingers rubbing lazy circles in time with his messy thrusts.
your stomach flips without warning, falling to pieces underneath his body as your thighs tighten around his hips. cumming around his cock, accompanied by incoherent mewls, an attempt to keep quiet though it fails miserable.
eddie’s hips sputter, grunting with each feeble, final thrust. barely pulling out before he cums, thick ropes of his release paint your cunt and stomach.
“ohh shit,” he curses, sitting back on his knees to assess his mess.
heaving for breath as he searches frantically for something to clean you up, a reformed gentleman. there’s no way eddie of the past would ever think to do something so thoughtful.
“there’s a towel.. somewhere,” gesturing vaguely to the floor, though your legs are intertwined with his, making it a much harder ordeal.
he scrambles off anyway, sweaty skin on skin causing him to fumble, almost tripping over completely just to save himself seconds before disaster.
your cackle erupts, watching him stumble around like a mad man. this had been anything but the quiet endeavour it should’ve been, and yet you can’t bring yourself to care.
after years of waiting for things to fall into place, they finally felt like they had. like something had clicked and you were right where you were supposed to be. what you had been missing was eddie, a best friend before he was ever a lover. someone that knew you and not just the version of you the city brought out.
“jesus christ,” he huffs, wiping his release from your stomach, “i tried,” tossing the towel back onto the floor, coming to collapse beside you.
immediately nestling into his side, still giggling over his pathetic tumble, “you’re ‘bout as grateful as a baby deer,” placing a hand on his chest, much leaner than his teenage years.
“be grateful i’m too tired to fight back,” sliding his arm under your resting body, bringing you in close. “god i missed you so much,” he sighs, melancholy out of nowhere, “i uh.. i..” trailing off into silence, while his fingers find their way onto your shoulder, drawing lines on the goosebumped skin.
you’re too weary to pay too much attention to his muttering, dozing off to sleep with the help of his chest. there’s something about his thumping heartbeat that soothes your messy head, he could tell you in the morning if it were truly that important.
-
a late august morning blooms outside the window, peeking through the curtains to pull you from your slumber.
only to find an empty bed and the scent of bacon wafting into your bedroom.
that can only mean one thing, and that petrifies you.
there’s no saying what your grandad would divulge about you over morning coffee, he was terrible at secrets at the best of times.
“..what’s going on?” rounding the corner with apprehension in your face, not wanting to disrupt whatever conversation they were having.
you meet eddie’s eye first, his lopsided grin and messy hair making your own smile emerge, grateful that he hadn’t ran off during the night.
“breakfast,” your grandad replies, sharp and snappy but soft as always, “we normal folks tend to eat it in the morning,” a dig at your late awakening, despite the clock only reading 9:30.
“has anyone ever told you how funny you are?” pulling a face behind his back, purely for eddie’s benefit.
your grandad hums, “i found eddie here, rather underdressed, coming out of your bedroom this morning,” transferring the greasy bacon onto a plate, thankfully avoiding all eye contact, though you can spot his cheeky smirk a mile away.
“oh.. right,” catching eddie’s eye just to widen your own, terrified for what else he may come out with.
there’s a silence between the three of you, only the sounds of cutlery clinking against the plates and your feet shuffling awkwardly around the kitchen.
“i don’t care,” he announces, breaking the uncomfortably long quiet, “i think you deserve this more than anything,” finding your gaze, a gentle, sincere smile plastered over his face.
“thank you grandad,” ignoring eddie for a second, you’d shared tidbits of your time in the city, but nothing compared to what your grandad had heard for years.
“i mean it,” he starts, including eddie in the conversation finally, “you’ve both grown into remarkable young people and you..” pointing his fork at eddie’s smiling face, “you, i would’ve never guessed you’d grow up,” eddie doesn’t wince, taking his jabs on the chin, “but look at you.”
eddie nods, grinning sincerely, “thank you sir, i appreciate it,” a tender moment that makes your heart swell.
you don’t want to call it what it so obviously is, not yet. but watching him grin at your grandad, completely domesticated and tender, you can’t help but think about it.
your grandad smiles, sliding plates of food in front of you both, “now get and eat this before it goes cold.”
-
the diner had apparently become a circus of sorts, only you seemed to be the main attraction.
now that things were partially out there and eddie didn’t feel so scared to let you ride him in his patrol car, people, namely his colleagues had become regulars at the diner.
you wouldn’t have ever cared, really. it was bound to get out at some point and if this was going to be a permanent, serious thing, you’d have to meet them all eventually.
what you aren’t fond of, is their incessant staring, the gawping and tittering about your endeavours.
eddie hadn’t believed you, always arriving just after they’d left, leaving you feeling crazed all alone.
except for today, too busy refilling coffee to notice his car pull up, his lackeys too busy watching you refill coffees to notice either.
the bell rings above the door, your eyes flitting up to find him staring at the table.
they notice one by one, quickly looking down into the mugs and unfinished eggs, embarrassed and rosy-cheeked.
vindicated in your madness at last.
“afternoon,” eddie nods, strolling over to the counter, looking more amused than the angry, stern eddie you’d hoped for.
“hmph,” awaiting his reaction,
“you weren’t joking, huh?” eyeing the rambunctious table, his chest puffed out to showcase his seniority.
you scoff, rolling your eyes, “no,” making your way around the bar to grab his arm, “what’ve you told them? i thought we weren’t going to make this a big thing,” shoving the mug of coffee into his chest, though he didn’t deserve your hospitality.
eddie holds his hands up high, a plea for his innocence, or forgiveness, “i just.. i told a few people about you. i’m happy, im sorry,” opting for puppy dog eyes. “i didn’t think they’d come up here to antagonise you, honest,” stroking your arm, a gesture of peace you can’t help but resist.
your eyes narrow, slipping away from his grasp to get back to your job, “you’re so lucky i like you.”
-
eddie had stayed until close again, mumbling something about vacation and helping out. but you’re ravenous the second the door locks, a one track mind to get into his pants and out of yours.
tugging him by the collar into the kitchen, throwing yourself on him with such ferocity his body almost sends the cutlery to the floor as he holds the counter for stability.
“okay.. okay,” he laughs, breaking away from your lips to hoist you atop of the cold, steel counter, “rough day, huh?”
you nod, wasting no time in getting your legs wrapped around his midriff, arms draped over his shoulders. now that having this was a real thing, you didn’t want to ever stop.
your lips find solace in the crook of his neck, working your way up to his ear, your teeth nibbling at the sensitive skin.
“huh- fuck okay,” eddie’s hands clamp down on the surface top, enveloping you perfectly within his grasp. his uniform hangs off of his frame, disheveled by your wandering hands.
eyes scanning the clearly empty restaurant for what feels like the thousandth time already, as if even he believed that someone would sneak in just to catch you two out.
“eds please,” huffing frustratedly into his ear, “i practically own this place.. no one’s gonna find us,” snapping his distracted gaze back to your pouty lips, his hands settling on your hips almost immediately.
“i know i know,” nodding along, “okay, shit,” further diving into the space between your legs, his cock teasing as it nudges your clothed entrance.
“need you so bad,” jutting your bottom lip out further, fingers dipping below the messy collar of his button up, in dire need of something a little more substantial to satiated the ache between your legs.
his twitchy fingers struggle with the button of your jeans, failing him in his time of need.
“ah fuck,” eddie gives up completely. head dipping into the small space between you, forehead resting on your chest.
“what’s wrong? what’s.. what’s the matter?” you tug at his hair in an attempt to bring him back upright.
he sighs, the warm air splaying across your exposed skin, “i gotta tell you something,” finally reemerging to meet your eyes, “you’re gonna be mad but.. i just need you to listen, okay?”
your brows furrow, features crumpling in sheer confusion. he was terrifying like this, cryptic and coy. what could he possibly have to say that couldn’t wait until after you’d fucked?
“what is it?” your voice trembling, still cradling his face, terrified for whatever he might blurt out.
he sighs again. deep and guttural as his gaze flickers, “i’m.. sorry, first of all. for not telling you about this.”
your anger and worry both grow increasingly stronger, “sorry for what? eddie, i don’t understand what’s going on.”
eddie pauses, brushing his thumb over your hot cheek, “i’m being shipped out on monday,” chewing down on his lip nervously. rightly so too.
dropping the bombshell of the century at five in the afternoon as you sat pathetically, covered in grease and coffee stains all the while ridiculously turned on.
“what?”
his mouth opens but nothing comes out, he’d run out of things to say already. he’d had weeks and weeks to tell you, to at least prepare himself for what to say and this was the best he could come up with?
“why didn’t you tell me?” dropping your hand, positively raging with the stupid boy, “how long have you known?”
you can almost hear the gulp, regret and guilt seeping through his face immediately, “the day after you got back,” sounding utterly pathetic.
your hands push him back instinctively, anger pulsing through your veins, “and you didn’t tell me?” you slide off of the counter, shoving him backward.
“i didn’t know how..” scrambling now, refusing to allow his cowardice ruin this, “i wasn’t expecting to fall in love with you again-“
“-don’t! don’t do that!” jabbing your finger harshly into his chest, “why didn’t you fucking tell me!”
“because i was scared,” eddie somehow remains level-headed despite your lack of control, “i didn’t know that i was gonna feel this way or that you were gonna stick around again,” sighing frustratedly, “i never wanted to hurt you,” a complete and utter dejection in his voice.
your lip trembles, tears threatening to spill over, “and you thought that not telling me would be any better?”
“no! i didn’t..” shaking his head, hands reaching out one more time, “i wasn’t thinking at all,” you don’t push him away this time, too encompassed by your devastation to notice his hands grab yours.
“you’re unbelievable eddie,” scolding him for his ignorance, but he can feel you relax into his touch, “three days… three days is all i’ve got to say goodbye again,” forlorn, already wishing away the year.
what if he never come back?
he could meet someone else, decide that hawkins was a dead end and stay the rest of his life with someone other than you.
it’s unfathomable, the last time you said goodbye, you didn’t see him again for years.
eddie’s eyes are wet,
“wait for me,” he nods assuredly, “a year and i’ll be back,” trembling as he speaks, desperate to not lose you again, “please.”
“a year?” you fret, angry all over again, “i’ve just.. i’ve just got you back! you can’t-” struggling to breathe through your sobs, “what if you don’t come back? and then i’m stuck here for the rest of my life waiting for you!”
“that’s not gonna happen,” pressing the rough pads of his thumbs into your wrists, keeping you in his hold, “i’m coming back for you,” wrapping your arms around his waist, pulling you into his chest where your cries become muffled wails. “i want to be with you forever. you don’t have to worry about that,” resting his chin atop of your head, drawing soothing patterns into your back.
“promise me,” you blubber, pulling back just enough to catch his eye, “promise me that you’ll come back,” sniffling through your words, a mess that would scare any man from coming back.
“i promise you, i’m coming back.”

Yandere Alphabet | The Salesman Version
Tumblr media
Warnings: Obsessive!Salesman - Possessive!Salesman - Mention of his past - NSFW - Violent parts -
Notes: Can be read as reader being his wife already. - I can finally use that gif!! -
Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?
Oh its really intense. The Salesman has no shame on showing you how much he loves you. He will get you lots of gifts. Will be over you all the time when he is at his home with you.
He likes to leave marks on you that last for days. And when these starts to fade he gives you new ones. He just loves knowing that he owns you.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?
VERY MUCH. He is a jealous Man and a controling one.He has no problem on punish the ones who threat your relationship. He has a special place that you dont know about where he play games with these people. He does not mind the blood on himself but does not want you to see him like that. So he cleans himself after it.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?
The Salesman does not abduct you. He prepares a way that makes you think you two were mean to be from the start. He Plays the perfect boyfriend role and gets everybody to like him.
Only if you start to get distant or he feels like you are having second thoughts on your relationship with him its when he becomes violent. He will ruin your life and yourself till you have no options but him.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?
Unless you are being difficult...he wont ever try anything against your will. He wants you to love him and to depend on him.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?
He is a complicated Man when it comes to feelings. Most times he only shows that he loves you and that he would die if you ever left him. But its not vulnerability what it comes from it but rather a feeling of control and dread.
He loves you, he wants you on his life forever. He gets sad when you ignore him, but he never lets you see how real and deep hurt would he be if you were not part of his life.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?
Oh...Well he can get creative. He does not want to hit you. Unless it comes to sex. He would use other methods, that would make you fear him. Maybe he would say he will go after your family or after something/someone you care for.
He likes games. So he may prepare one for you. So you will end scared for days killing your will to fight him back.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?
No. He loves you. A lot. Its not a game. He may have his share of flints but no one of them ever sparked this...obesession he has.
Would hate to see you trying to escape or leave him. Thats why he makes sure you are enamored by the time you two start to live together. He cant go back to an empy house after having you with him.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?
First, you will have to do something really bad that ends with his patience and makes him see over his obsession. He loves you and would move heaven for you. But does not mean he cant be cruel as well. The worse experience he would put you throw would probably make you face your worse fear in a twisted way that ends leaving him as a hero.
Do you hate talking in public and feel like your chest its closing on itself ? He would be the one who did put you on that position and would be the one who is there to encourage you. To tell you can do it.
Fear of the dark ? A classic. He will mess up the lights of the house and come home late to find you crying on the bed. Will tell you his phone died and he had to work late. Then will pull you on his lap to whisper calming things to you.
Something more extreme ? We know he is a sadistic at heart. But he does not want you to see that part of him. BUT lets say you fuck up bad. And he loses it. He is going to make you play a game of live and death (of course he will let you live but you dont know that) maybe he will blind you and tell you to walk around a room that has lots of sharp objects. Maybe he will make you play russian roulette with him (there is no Rea bullet but you dont know that). Its going to be something that lets you with nightmares for days but also with the lesson that you cant escape him and that you must obey him.
Ideals: What kind of future does they want with their darling?
MARRIAGE.
The Salesman has lived a lonely life and he was fine with it till he met you. Now all he wants its to see you in a beautiful dress and call you his wife. Even better when others know about it since part of him feels like he won a price with you.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?
He is quiet the cold head. He will get jealous yes but first will try to calm himself down. Does not mean he is not imagining killing the person who is taking much of your time.
Maybe a friend of yours has been getting close and close to you the last days and keeps sending you messages. That friend ends dead or so scared of him that they never approach you again and never talk about what he did to them.
When it comes to strangers he is more wild. If its someone flirting with you, that person is dead. Being bad with you ? Dead too. He feels like you deserve so much respect that the minum thing someone does that he feels like its not worth of you, yeah he wants them dead.
Does not mean he goes killing half Seoul. Will only target the ones that either have made you feel so uncomfortable that you told him about them or the ones who are really mean to you.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?
LOVESICK PUPPY !!
No really!! This Man does a change in personality that is hella scary. With you he is not cold or calculated. But rather soft, he still holds that playful look in his eyes but these are less...well violent. His smile is sincere and he loves to have you by his side all the time.
Pouts when you tell him that you need to finish some work and cant be with him (once he finally gets a free day). Its going to make you sit you on his lap so you can work and he can hold you.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?
REALLY WELL PLANNED.
He sees you for the first time and the game starts. He will stalk you, know your schendelure, Friends, family, even the school that you went (and if someone bullied you during that time well that person is going to have a very very bad time). He learns the things you like and dislike.
The first time you two actually do talk its a situation he made. You two just happen to go for the same drink and your hands touched themselfs. He is going to give you that charming smile of his and tell you to go ahead. He will also make a comment about something you are passionate about so you two engage in a conversation.
Will "casually" keep meeting you and talking to you till you two finally exchange numbers (not like he did not have it already).
His text are so planned too. Wishes you good morning and good night. Asks if you have ate today and drink enough water. He wants you to see that he cares for your well being.
If by any chance (most likely made by him) you tell him you forgot something for work/or that you must stay till too late and you are scared then he is going to be a gentlemen and offer to go and pick you up. Or help you with whatever you forgot.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?
HELL YES.
With others he is emotionless, cold, sharp. All of him its a fake image to trick people into the games and to keep his bosses happy with his performance at work. Hell sometimes he forgets who he is after so many times living like that.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling?
He hates punish you. If he has to it depends on what you did. Some may be really agressive if you crossed the line. And others well...are a mix of fear and arousment.
He does not like to make you suffer, he actually hates seeing you in pain but he wants you to understand that you cant just not obey him.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?
Honestly? Almost nothing. He will ask you to left your work, but under the idea that he can provied for you. Really ? He wants you to be at his house 24/7. He will allow you to go out to take air and do whatever you want (with limits of course). You want to meet up with a friend ? Oh he is there because he was passing by. He has a tracker on your phone and knows where you are all the time. If he feels like something is odd then he will go where you are.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling?
VERY
This Man has made a perfect image of you, and its ready to shape you like it. He knows its a slow process and that he cant Force you (too much) into what he wants.
Its going to be a slow process full of Manipulation under the disguise of love and affection.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?
NO.
First if you die for whatever reason he will go into a down spiral of rage and sadness. If he knows someone was responsible behind your death then you can trust that person (or persons) will suffer a cruel end. A slow death with lots lots of physocological torment.
If you escape him (congrats!!) He wont give up. He will go after you, threath your family and Friends. In fact you may never really escape him. If you went off from him then you better start to hide very well becuase once he catches you back there is not limit on how he would act.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?
No and no.
He does not abduct you but makes the idea that you two were mean to be. In his head it makes perfect sense. Or course he wont ever let you go, he wants you by his side for the rest of his life.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?
He has been a twisted one since he was a young one. Working at the island did not help at all. He thought he got detached from feelings but when it comes to you he loves you and cant avoid the idea of you with him.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?
Unless its under the act of sex he hates seeing you sad. Its a hit of reality that he is not doing his work well. Like he cant provide you with the happiness he promised he would give you. He wants you to be happy with him not sad or see that you insolate yourself.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?
Mhm I would say he is a classic one when it comes to manipulation and obsession but he is not that out from the classic Yandere.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?
Oh lovely you....while you are his weak point im afraid there is nothing you can do to make him lose control and let you go or give you a free lose.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling?
Yes. If he feels like you did something very bad then he will do it. Not something that will leave marks on you at least not physically ones but mental ones ? Its another story, he will leave you marks on your mind that will make you think twice over trying something.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?
He would kiss the floor where you just walked. This Man is smitten with you. He is obsess truly, all he wants its you and only you.
He would worship you so much. With endearing words and actions. He loves kissing your hand, these kisses helps him ground himself. He is always telling you how beautiful you look, how stunning you are. If you have a hobbie like music or art he is your first fan. And he also likes to get the best quality food for you, not only remind you of eating but it to be delicious and help your health.
He would go as far as necesary. Does not know limits when it comes to it.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?
If this means for how long would he stalks you and then goes to you like "snaps" well its a lot of time. He may get different twisted ideas when he is alone but he shows them only once he believes you are ready for them. If you mean it like when does he shows himself as obsessive well he never really shows himself as that. He crafted your relationship with him to make you think you two are mean to be so most likely you wont ever know how truly obsess he is.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?
Only mentally and only if you do something to piss him off really bad. He will make you depend on him so much...you wont be able to even think for yourself or take the minum decision without him.

-> Notes: you guys deliver quick I’m so happy to write requests 🤩🤩🤩 disclaimer tho this is my first 3some fic so please bear with me. also since this is a very broad ask please let me know if anything in this fic bothered you or wasn’t what you were expecting, I’m simply writing based on what I was given~ (not proofread)
༄ ༄ ༄
okay so im imagining a roommate type situation.
like Jungwon is your roomate who has his friend Jay over a lot so you slowly start getting acquainted to him too. you had advertised needing a roommate to help pay for rent. you weren't expecting a response so quick but jungwon jumped at the oppertunity and you didn't mind as long as he was clean and not a freak (at least one of those things is true.)
so there is born a new friendship, and roommate-ship between you and jungwon. you guys would hang out sometimes, often eating dinner together and watching a movie since you both got home from work or school around the same time. you kept to yourself a lot, not that he minded since he did too. but one day he asked if it was okay for him to bring friends over, which you happily allowed. that was the day you met Jay and a couple of his other friends. while he hung out with all of them, he hung out with Jay the most.
usually when he had his friends over, you stayed in your room, not wanting to bother them. sometimes they'd bring food back for you to which you were very thankful and you would eat with them. then you'd retreat back to your room for the rest of the night. you didn't know that you had caught Jay's eye. one time after eating dinner with them, you went back to your room like normal, thanking them for the food.
"yo, you ever hit that?"
cue jungwon almost choking on his food.
"what??? thats my roommate Jay, no."
"what? she's hot. can I have her if you won't?"
"I guess? i don't think she wants you though. she would've mentioned to me if she did."
jungwon had never seen you in that way before, but after seeing how Jay was talking about getting with you, he'd start to notice you a bit more. how smooth your legs always looked. how full your chest looked in your shirt. how nice your thighs and ass looked in those leggings. how it was so hard for him to control his boner around you. he wanted to curse Jay for bringing your sexiness to his attention. he never acted on it though. he didn’t want to make you uncomfortable, or worse, be kicked out of the apartment. that didn’t stop Jay from making comments about you to him every so often.
༄ ༄ ༄
there’s one weekend where Jungwon was going to go on a trip with his friends. they were only going to be a couple hours away and they even invited you out as well, but you declined, preferring a relaxing weekend alone instead. of course they respected your wishes and left soon after. a little bit into their drive away, Jay realizes that he has left his wallet in Jungwon’s room and needed to go back to get it. they all head back and wait in the car while Jungwon and Jay go back inside.
you, having been home alone for about 30 minutes by now, didn’t know that they would be coming back. you wasted no time taking off your pants, finally being able to touch yourself without needing to hold back your moans. naturally due to your little whines and grunts, you don’t hear the front door open.
your noises alert the two males, going to check on you to make sure you’re fine before finally heading out. since you were home alone you felt no need to close your bedroom door, which just so happened to be down the hall from Jungwon’s. one peek inside your room was all it took for them to realize what was going on, you frozen in place like a deer in headlights.
they look at each other, Jungwon holding a shocked expression while Jay’s is the opposite, a crooked smirk appearing on his face.
“my, my, look what we have here.”
shocked and embarrassed can’t even begin to describe your emotions right now. your whole face is flushed red, body limp yet frozen, too shocked to even try to cover yourself up.
“w-what are you guys doing here?”
finally coming to, you grab the blanket closest to you, throwing it over your lower half to cover yourself. Jay’s smirk doesn’t fade as he walks up to you.
“no need to cover yourself up darling, we’ve already seen the goods.”
you didn’t want to admit how extremely hot you found Jay. despite the embarrassment you were currently feeling, a new wave of need was hitting you with every step closer he took. he would trace his fingers over your arm, which was still under the blanket as you were using it to get off. he would look back over to Jungwon whose sporting a painfully obvious boner.
“look at Jungwon, he’s hard from just seeing you like this. maybe you could help us out?”
you look between the two men, confused and turned on beyond belief. Jay helps your nerves, beckoning Jungwon over before placing a hand under your chin, tilting your head to the side so he has better access to you neck. once you feel his lips on your neck, you throw your head back, gasps leaving you mouth the closer her gets to your sweet spot.
Jungwon is on the other side of you, nervous as he reaches his hands around your waist, feeling up your curves and chest. you relax into their touch, getting off on the attention they're giving you as your hand resumes its previous task, 2 fingers delving in and out of your hole.
"such a dirty girl, getting off to the two of us touching you"
Jay tsks, replacing your hand with his own, using two of his fingers to help you out. Jungwon, pent up already, pulls his pants down to reveal his raging boner, tip red and angry. you waste no time wrapping your wet fingers around his length, slowly pumping as he sighs out of relief. Jungwon entangles his hands in your hair, leaning down to capture your lips as Jay continues his movements, following your neck as you kiss Jungwon.
you moan as Jay hits a particular spot your short fingers normally have trouble reaching, gasping into Jungwon's mouth as you pump him faster. Jay's nibbling at your neck, increasing his speed as he feels your walls clench around his fingers. you can't help the gush of liquid that comes out of you, soaking the blanket and Jay's hand.
"fuck, you're so hot"
you pull away from Jungwon to kiss Jay, hand pumping faster on Jungwon as he bucks his hips into your hand, pinching and playing with your nipples under your shirt. your moans don't stop, and that keeps them both going as Jay whips the blanket off of you. both men climb into the bed with you. you pull away from Jay as Jungwon helps you take your shirt off, placing your hand back on his length as soon as you're free from the material. Jay takes his pants off in the meantime, watching your tits bounce freely out of the shirt.
"mind if I have her first Won? I've been waiting for this,"
you look up at him, eyes pleading with him to just be in you already. Jungwon nods his head at the older, biting back moans as he tries not to cum just yet. Jay repositions himself to be in between your legs, lifting one of them up onto his shoulder as he rubs his tip against your folds, lubing himself up with your slick.
"ready baby girl?"
you nod like a madman, ready to have him fully inside you. you turn your head to jungwon, seeing his eyes screw shut as he's on the brink of release, and you pull your hand away. the loud whine from his throat is proabably the hottest thing you've ever heard.
"mouth..."
is all you can muster before Jungwon gets the memo, kneeling before you, inching his cock into your open mouth as Jay finally pushes in. the simultaneous moans from the 3 of you are loud, echoing throughout the house. you're trying your best to suck him off at this angle, drool spilling past your lips and down your chin, making its way down the rest of his length. Jay's pounding into you, soft at first but gradually getting more rough as you adjust to his size. the added finger rubbing your clit has you bucking your hips into his thrusts, and your mouth taking Jungwon in deeper.
your orgasms are all quickly approaching, not really trying to hold back as the pleasure grows too much for the 3 of you. Jungwon cums first and harder than you had expected, having denied his orgasm once before. you almost choke trying to swallow his load, scooping up any of his cum that slipped past your lips back into your mouth, savoring every last drop.
you cum next, moaning loud as your hips push into Jay's thrusts, walls fluttering around his length, causing him to release inside of you. you struggle to catch your breath as Jungwon pulls you into another kiss, relaxing a bit as Jay helps you ride out your orgasm. they both pull away from your spent body, exchanging looks before switching spots.
"w-what are you guys doing?'
you're half delirious, confused as to whats going on.
"I had my turn, now it's Jungwon's turn to be in you."
he turns to Jungwon,
"she's so tight, its the best feeling ever."
Jungwon smirks, confidence coursing through his body as he sees how exhausted you look.
"I can't wait,"
he positions himself between your legs, already hard again at the thought of being in you finally. he winces as he brings his tip up to your wet slit that's leaking both yours and Jay's cum, still a little sensitive from his prior release.
"please, it's too much... s-sensitive..."
your broken words only fuel him more.
"you can take a little more for us can't you?"
Jay says, smiling up at Jungwon, who finally pushes himself into your walls. Jungwon runs his hands up and down your body, soothing you of your overstimulation, Jay reaching his hand down to toy with your clit yet again. you buck your hips into them, so fucked out that you fail to produce a moan, mouth hanging open. Jay looks at you, taking his finger that were previously on your clit and bringing them up to your mouth.
"suck."
he commands. your eyes are rolled back into your head as you close your mouth on his fingers, coating his fingers with your saliva as he brings his free hand down to pump his length. your orgasm is approaching quickly as Jungwon continues to bully your hole. he can tell by the way you're frantically bucking your hips to meet his thrusts, losing your pace as spill all over him.
Jay's hands are moving quick on himself, cumming all over your pelvis and stomach as he empties himself. Jungwon takes the chance to bring both of your legs over his shoulders, pounding relentlessly as he's on the verge of cumming. the pleasure is slowly being replaced by pain, the overstimulation becoming too much. Jay can see the way your face contorts, releasing his fingers from your mouth and placing soft kisses on your neck.
"just a little more baby, hang on a little longer."
you nod, too fucked out to properly comprehend what his words mean. its at that point when Jungwon's hips finally stall, ropes of cum painting your walls as he empties every last drop in you. he pulls out slowly, and you whine, half at the loss of feeling full and half out of relief. he watches as the cum from all 3 of you slowly spills out, taking his finger and pushing it back into you. you arch your back and moan and the boys look at each other, smiling and laughing at your spent state.
they both lay on either side of you, silent and breath ragged as you all try to calm down. the air is heavy with the smell of sex but comforting nonetheless. once you've come back to your senses, you look at the 2 boys, remembering the trip they were supposed to go on.
"what are you guys doing here? i thought you were supposed to be on your trip?"
they look at each other, first looking scared realizing that they left their friends waiting outside for them, but then laughing.
"Jay left his wallet here so we came back to get it. they probably drove off without us already because we were taking too long."
Jungwon shrugs, getting up to grab his phone to check the many messages from their group chat confirming exactly what he said.
"whatever. we can go on another trip whenever we want. but this is more fun, right Y/N?"
you look at Jay, laughing at his implications, not yet worrying about what all this between the 3 of you could mean. they both look at you, smiling fondly at your next words.
"round 2?"

Ok hear me out the grammys r today & I am a swiftie
(PSA not Nancy Wheeler friendly & Billy Hargrove pops in like a jump scare but he's somehow better than Nancy??)
O!Steve loves his career, he gets to make music with his favorite producer & best friend ever B!Robin Buckley, he gets to tour his music around the world, his fans made it possible for him to pivot his career, & now he is free from the overbearing thumb of his previous record label. He's on top of the world, prepping to embark on his most ambitious & physically demanding tour of his career with a partner working on her own growing career in journalism
Then, Jonathan Byers messages him. He's a beta who works w A!Nancy Wheeler at her news network job where she's rising in the ranks as an investigative reporter. He confesses to Steve with evidence tht Nancy has been cheating on Steve w Jonathan for going on 3 months. Jonathan is ending things w Nancy & he felt Steve should know what Nancy has done & Jonathan emphasizes he feels terrible. Steve doesn't blame Jonathan necessarily, Steve is more upset w Nancy. So Steve breaks things off, gets professional movers to take all of her things out of his various apartments & homes & mail them all to her New York address all at once, gets her to give back every key she has, and Nancy doesn't even have the decency to pretend at remorse for how she's shattered him, just sneers & makes a remark abt him writing a song abt her as if the 5 years they were together meant nothing
Steve rebounds HARD
His begins his tour & decides to indulge in a relationship w blue eyed bad boy British actor Billy Hargrove, he's crass & abrasive & it ends like a car crash behind the closed doors of Steve's beloved Nashville apartment, but at least Billy parts w a statement tht shows the asshole is even more understanding than Nancy abt how Steve will write a song or 2 abt this
The show must go on & it does. It's during a break btwn cities tht his little step-brother Dustin sends him the link to a clip of a podcast
It's a group of 4 friends, two of them alphas, 1 a beta & 1 an omega man. 2 of them are involved in professional hockey. The podcast involves them playing d&d but they also chat for abt an hour at the start of every episode. The alpha Eddie Munson plays as star goalie of The Detroit Red Wings (a team his grandpa Otis cheers for) & the beta Felix calls plays from the box. While A!Jeff & O!Gareth both have lucrative careers in computer science & robotics. Gareth works w NASA & the Mars Rovers, no wonder Dustin likes the podcast his twerp of a brother is coworkers w Gareth
This particular clip is from the first hour of a recent episode & is abt how Eddie has been a not at all secret fan of Steve since his debut & how he got to see the tour when it stopped in Detroit & how it was the best show Eddie's ever seen. Eddie confesses he was a little sad to learn Steve isn't meeting anyone backstage during this tour as he puts himself on vocal rest as often as possible to maintain the ability to sing for 3 hours straight, because Eddie had a friendship bracelet he made with his number on it & he happily implies it was his phone number & the alpha graciously responds to the teasing abt having a long time celebrity crush on Steve
Steve is charmed
He only needs to send 2 messages to Dustin before he's sending a text to Eddie's personal number. They hit it off, they're both goofy in the same ways, Eddie is theatrical in a different but complimentary way, soon they're meeting up privately btwn stops on his tour & Eddie's prep for hockey season & then Steve is very publicly at a Red Wings game & soon after Eddie is in the very visible VIP tent at the New York show trading his own handmade bracelets w fans
& Steve ends the night w a lyric change he only told Robin about bc she's 50% of his impulse control just like he's 50% of her impulse control & they secretly recorded a remix of the encore song because they liked it so much. The lyric tht used to reference Nancy with "karma is the girl on the screen" is changed to "karma is the guy on the wings" which makes the crowd explode with noise
When the show is done Steve knows fans r waiting to see him exit the stadium waving one last goodbye for the night & he knows they see Eddie clearly waiting for Steve & tht they're all recording so he does something he's never done for a beau: he runs ahead of his security right into Eddie's arms & is swept into a kiss tht makes him feel like they're the only ppl in the world
The multiple videos from multiple angles go viral within minutes of posting & the internet descends into madness when the remix is dropped w the lyric change just 3 hours later, but Steve & Eddie r too busy cuddling in Steves nest in his NYC penthouse the both of them laughing at the ketchup blood in a bad slasher movie to care abt tht
biting both of them from happiness🥰

House Call
I got hit in the head the other day, so this fic is inspired by my injury and wishing I had a Dr. Zayne in my life. I also wrote an Xavier version.
Warnings: None, SWF
Zayne had accepted you coming home each day with minor scrapes and bruises as part of your job of being a hunter. It was normal. You fought wanderers each day and were bound to experience minor bruising on your extremities during battle. What the doctor could not stand was when those injuries, no matter how minor, appeared on your head or chest, near your vital organs. The idea of your heart, lungs, and brain being the slightest bit vulnerable to danger was enough to send chills down Zayne’s spine. That is why his knees nearly give out when you appear at his house after work with a swollen bump on your head.
“Do you take house calls?” you ask half-jokingly the moment he opens the door.
You would never forget the way Zayne’s face pales as he pulls you through the door and immediately seats you on the living room couch for a personal examination. An awning had collapsed as you were chasing a wanderer, and a metal bar landed on your head. You really weren’t hurt that bad. Except for a faint bruise where the bar made contact with your skin and a barely visible bump, no one would even notice you were injured. No one but Dr. Zayne that is. You continue to insist to Zayne that you are fine, but a lump grows in your throat as you watch his hands tremble, gently caressing your cheeks as he examines the bump, checking himself for signs of a concussion.
“I’m really okay,” you say for the umpteenth time. “But because it’s a head injury - a minor head injury - Jenna gave me the week off. Sooo… I thought I would spend it with you. I can receive personal treatment from my Dr. Zayne.” Zayne sighs, relieved that the Hunter’s Association has such a reasonable policy for injuries. He is more than happy to treat you at home during your time off. You are always welcome, encouraged even, to stay with him at his house.
“That’s for the best. I’ll keep a close eye on you during your recovery.” Satisfied with the results of his examination, Zayne’s thumb gently brushes across the bump, which causes you to wince. His brows furrow. “You are in pain.”
“Only because you touched it! I’m okay. I just need to rest, and I can only do that with you.” You pull Zayne onto the couch with you and rest your head against his chest. As you wrap your arms around his torso, you whisper, “This is exactly what I need to feel better.”
“While I’m happy you’re finally choosing to rely on me when you’re in pain, you need ice. If we apply some ice to your forehead, it will help the swelling go down.” Zayne’s voice is soft as his breath gently tickles your ear. “I’ll get you some.”
“Why get up when my snowman has ice right here?” You move Zayne’s hand to your head, completely covering your bump. Zayne chuckles.
“Very well. I’ll give you the full treatment while you’re in my care.” A cooling sensation spreads across your forehead from Zayne’s evol, soothing the pain away. You relax onto Zayne’s chest as he holds you rubbing his other hand in small circles on your arm. It isn’t long before his “treatment” lulls you to sleep. Zayne kisses the top of your head and decides then to take some days off from the hospital. A special VIP patient needs his full attention for a week.

soldier boy can throw me around like a rag doll ‼️
very valid. i too would like to be treated like a blow up sex doll 🤭. for your troubles, i present something very special for you.
Dirty
Tumblr media
pairing: soldier boy x latina!reader
synopsis: soldier boy is america’s sweetheart, so its no excuse he wants things done a certain way.
word count: 852
warnings: NO PLOT, smut, sexism, slight racist behavior and vocabulary from soldier boy, degration, no protection, talk of pregnancy, roughness from soldier boy. he’s not the one you wanna take home to your mother.
yazzy's comments: honestly hear me OUT! it is my belief that soldier boy would 100% act this way and i’m entitled to my opinion. if you don’t like, scroll away !!
“¿esto es lo que te gusta? what a fucking freak.” his hot breath fans over your pulse, thrusts hitting you deeply and practically unforgiving with every slap of skin. though the language isn’t his own, he tries and that you can appreciate. the american accent still peaks through with every syllable, which makes it strangely hotter to hear.
your nails dig into his broad shoulders, trying your best to not make so much noise. after all, you were supposed to hate this man. america’s sweetheart was quite the asshole, even borderline sexist. “see? all you’re good for his to take my fucking dick and make me dinner.” no take that back, he was hella sexist.
as you bounce on his cock, your breasts provide a wonderful show for soldier boy. earlier he had taken the time to mark them up so that when you wore those low cut tops, people could see you were accounted for. though now that ben thinks about it, no bitch of his is gonna go out looking like some prostitute on the corner. you’ll be dressed properly, with no part of your chest showing. that’s for his eyes only.
his digits tug and pinch at your swollen buds, smirking as you whimper with every touch. “fucking slut, you really gonna let an american soil that exotic pussy?” ben knew that if this had been just talk, you’d slap him. argue how his perspective was outdated and unacceptable now, yet feeling how hard your walls squeeze him after using such vocabulary was hard to ignore. “hmm, maybe that’s what you need. just pure american made meat.”
you hold onto him for dear life at this point, smothering his face into your bosom. his words should put you in a fit of rage but your damn body betrays you. “solo estás demostrando mi punto.” he can feel your walls tighten again and that only feeds into his already big ego. “so that’s what you want? pathetic.”
the chair creaks under the weight of you both, close to breaking and though ben didn’t care much, he rather not deal with butcher’s bitching about breaking motel furniture. so with one arm, he keeps you steady on his cock while making his way to the bed. sitting down right at the edge so you remain in the same position. cause there were various positions soldier boy could do but cowgirl had to be in his top five. plus who is he to turn down being suffocated by your gorgeous tits?
you have yet to say any coherent words or much of anything aside from the sinful noises. he wonders what’s going on in that pretty little mind of yours. his fingers grab a fistful of hair, forcefully tugging your head back as your eyes meet. “don’t make me speak that dirty language again, this is america.” a harsh slap meets your cheek, making you wince. “we speak english here and if i’m gonna fuck you, i’ll make sure you don’t forget that.”
his piercing gaze makes you squeeze around his shaft again, feeling your orgasm approach closer with each touch from him. “por f-favor,” you manage to choke out, whining when soldier boy stops his thrusts.
“what i fucking say huh?” you groan when he pulls you off his cock, pushing you onto the mattress on all fours. your ass lifted high into the air as he delivers the first slap. “speak english.” his dick is aching to be inside you but he had to hold back for now, you needed to know your place.
your face buried itself into the motel pillows, scratchy fabric brushing against your skin. butcher would be back soon and you knew soldier boy was nowhere near done with you. though you didn’t want him to stop entirely. “no no, who said you could hide that pretty face of yours?” once again, soldier boy grabs a fistful of your hair, looking down at your features. “don’t tell me we need to start with the basics.” you tried shaking your head but that only made his grip on your hair hurt more. “you got a mouth, speak, bitch.”
swallowing the lump in your throat, your eyes meet his, despite your vision blurring a bit. “i’ll speak e-english, promise!” it’s not a real promise, for you couldn’t get rid of a language you loved so much.
soldier boy chuckles, letting go of your hair and shifting down to the globes of your ass. spreading the cheeks apart to see how swollen your pussy was, hole gaping as it was already molded to his shape and size. “hmm, you’ll say anything just to feel me again huh? Qué chica tan sucia.”
he watches as you look back, pushing your ass against him in hopes the teasing might end. you needed him, craved to feel him every second you both were apart. “fine, guess i’ll give you what i want. i was always curious,” without warning, he slides right back in and smirks when you whimper. “if i get you pregnant, is our kid gonna look more like me or you?”

You’re a Guest in Alpine’s Home
Words: 600?? A/N: idk what you want to call this, there isn't really a plot and i haven't edited it but i was struggling to write my other fic/blurb because the english student in me was overthinking every word and grammatical choice and i just needed to write something to get going really
Tumblr media
You've been dating Bucky for a while, and he finally invites you back to his apartment for a drink after a dinner date. He had mentioned he had a cat he loved very much, and you were excited to meet her but nothing could have prepared you for what you were about to witness.
As you walk into this apartment she immediately races up to Bucky and claws at his leg. Without a second thought, he drops your hand to pick her up and give her little face a whole bunch of kisses. You barely recognise the way the man in the leather jacket has softened his voice so much as he murmurs to his cat about how much he missed her and how much her loves her. Oddly, you were almost jealous that the furthest you had got with him was a respectful kiss goodnight.
A minute or two pass as he greets his kitten lovingly before remembering you were stood at his side and turning to you.
"This is Alpine," he finally formally introduces the two of you. She was adorable and fluffy and all you wanted to do was scoop her up in your arms too but the way she glared at you made you hesitate. Instead, you reach out and stroke her carefully murmuring a soft hi in an attempt to let her familiarise herself with you.
As soon as Bucky placed her down, she wandered off without a second glance at you. You watched at her as she wandered down the hall and into a room with the door open as Bucky ushered you into the kitchen in the opposite direction. "Don't mind her, she'll be back soon. She just takes a while to warm up to new people," he explains sheepishly as he invites you to sit down whilst he makes you a drink. You nod understandingly accepting the drink and sipping it as you engage in easy conversation with Bucky.
After a while Alpine makes her way into the kitchen and hops into Bucky's lap. You watch as he instinctively pets her soft fur as he continues his conversation with you. However, Alpine appears unsatisfied at the lack of attention, the way Bucky was too invested in you currently to even glance down at her and crawls up on the counter. You were a little surprised but didn't think much of it as she wandered around but she was a smart cat, and she waited for your eyes to leave her and return to Bucky before she pushed the bottle of wine you and bucky were sharing onto the floor.
It hit the floor with a loud crash and Bucky immediately jumped up and scooped her into his arms apologising to you briefly before fussing over his cat and ensuring she didn't hurt herself. You knew she loved the attention and couldn't blame her honestly. Once Bucky had properly ensured his precious kitten was not injured he stood up with her carefully and walked back down the hall. You followed behind him curiously as he entered the room you’d seen Alpine walk into earlier, you had assumed it was Bucky’s room and couldn’t help the small huff of laughter that left your lips as you realised that you were wrong.
It was Alpine’s room.
Of course she had her own room. She had a bed in every room in the apartment and toys all over the place, Bucky had sent you countless photos of the two in bed together but here was a fully furnished cat bedroom Bucky had set up for her. He had her so spoilt it was no wonder she was so possessive of him. You watched silently amused as he dropped her off and closed the door before heading back to the kitchen to clean up with you.

— SUPERNATURAL SCENARIOS ( romance w/ Dean, sibling bond w/ Sam vers. )
Tumblr media
˚   ✦   .  .   ˚ .      . ✦      ˚     . ★ ⋆. ࿐࿔
MOTEL RITUALS
there's truly nothing like the mundane but essential routines of the hunter lifestyle—checking into yet another sketchy motel, dumping weapons onto the bed, flipping through a dusty lore book under flickering yellow light
you and Sam bicker over who gets the room with the least stains, while Dean throws himself onto a bed with a sigh, boots still on ( you give him a rancid look for that. ) maybe you all order greasy takeout, end up patching each other’s wounds in the bathroom, or perhaps you sit in silence, loading bullets and preparing for the next day
YOU'RE BAIT
during a hunt, you’re chosen to play the bait ( yay? )—maybe for a vampire nest, a shapeshifter, or a demon deal gone wrong. Sam’s reading over the plan, looking skeptical, while Dean's smirks at you mockingly, saying, “You sure you can pull off the helpless act, sweetheart?”
of course, when the moment comes, you hold your own way better than expected—Sam's grinning and clapping you on the shoulder triumphantly, and even Dean has to gruffly admit that he underestimated you
ROAD TRIP ROMANCE
you, Dean, and Sam are on a long-haul road trip between cases, taking turns driving the Impala down empty highways at night and napping in the passenger side or the backseat
Dean teaches you how to drive Baby ( very reluctantly at first, because no one touches Baby, but eventually he enjoys watching you take the wheel. ) his hand guides yours and he directs you with an unusual calmness, the kind he really only reserves for you ( he's never been that nice to Sam when he makes a mistake driving )
you and Dean share quiet, stolen moments at roadside diners, and he always insists on ordering for you, claiming he “just knows what you’ll like.” you roll your eyes, but when he keeps ordering things that you actually like, you slowly realize he's been paying a lot more attention to you than you realized
A HUNT THAT HITS TOO CLOSE TO HOME
one of the cases you go on mirrors something from your past a little too closely—a town you once lived in, a victim who reminds you of someone you lost, a creature linked to an old trauma. you try to play it cool, but Sam notices, Dean notices, and by the time the hunt is over, you’re staring at the motel ceiling, totally unable to sleep
Dean tosses a beer at you from across the room, the cure-all that he thinks can dull the pain of anything ( works for him ) muttering something about, “you’re thinkin’ too much. can't do that with this job.” though you see the way he looks at you out of the corner of his eye, the sympathy
A CLOSE CALL
after a hunt goes sideways, the three of you barely escape. no one talks as Dean drives off into the night afterwards, the Impala cutting through the darkness and providing the only bright spot you've had this whole job. from the passenger seat, Sam’s staring out the window, lost in thought. you’re in the backseat, watching the reflection of neon lights flicker across the windshield
while Sam isn't paying attention, Dean takes the moment to reach back and rest a hand on your arm, providing some wordless reassurance after the tough few days you've had
HIGH TENSIONS
you and Dean end up in an unusually high-stakes situation—maybe a cursed object binds you two together, or a witch’s hex forces you into an emotionally charged confrontation. the point is, the tension is thick. your faces are inches apart, the heat of the moment demands something break it. Dean smirks, “you gonna stab me, sweetheart, or finally admit you wanna kiss me?”
( i'm not coming up with what happens after that girl that's all you. go get your man. or stab him. up to you no judgement here !! )
CLASSIC "HUNTER'S FIRST TIME" CHALLENGE
early on in your time hunting with them ( regardless of whether they're teaching you to hunt from scratch, or you have experience ) Dean and Sam decide to test you ( it's Dean's idea )—maybe it’s your first time handling a shotgun, setting up salt lines, or exorcising a demon. Dean's making jokes the whole time, Sam is decent enough to try to explain things scientifically and guide you
it's up to you whether you completely botch it and end up having to scramble to fix it, or get saved after your mess-up, or if you totally blow it out of the water and shock both of them with your competence
INTEL GATHERING AT A SMALL-TOWN BAR
you guys have to pull a classic hunter move—blending into a small-town bar to gather information
Dean is flirting with the bartender for leads ( and you're giving him the nastiest look out of the corner of your eye, though you're trying to act like you don't care. Dean brings you one of the free drinks she gave him as an almost-apology, though it's up to you whether you forgive him or not )
Sam is trying to stay on track ( while failing to keep Dean in check ), and you’re somewhere between the two—maybe charming a witness, maybe listening in on a suspicious conversation, maybe getting dragged into a bar fight that you absolutely didn’t start, but that Dean definitely finishes for you before you all head back to the motel
MIDDLE-OF-NOWHERE EMERGENCY
one random night, the Impala breaks down on some forgotten road, no cell service, no town for miles. Sam’s got the map out, trying to figure out where the hell you even are, while Dean is cursing under his breath as he's halfway under Baby’s hood, lamenting how this could've happened when he takes such good care of her
the forest around you is too quiet, shadows stretching unnaturally long. maybe it’s just a busted radiator. maybe someone did it, and now something is watching
DANGEROUS JOB
on a particularly dangerous hunt, you get injured—nothing fatal, but more than enough to scare the shit out of Dean. whe you wake up, you're in a motel room, bandaged up and with a dull ache emanating through your body, though it's bearable
Dean sits at the edge of the bed, jaw tight, refusing to leave your side. he’s pissed, but not at you—at the world, and this stupid job, and himself for putting you in danger. the air is thick with unspoken feelings, and when you try to joke about it, he just mutters, “you scared the hell outta me, sweetheart.”
NO ONE TOLD ME IT WAS THIS MESSY
there's a moment for you where you realize hunting isn’t just cool lore and cool weapons—it can truly be brutal
maybe this moment happens when you’re stitching up a deep wound in a gas station bathroom ( yours or one the boys' ), or dragging a body to salt-and-burn it while trying not to gag. Dean slaps you on the back like it’s nothing, Sam gives you an approving nod, and you stare down at your hands, wondering what you’ve gotten yourself into
DEAN ( JEALOUS MESS )
you run into another hunter ( maybe an ex, maybe just someone overly flirty ) who’s a little too friendly with you. Dean acts like he doesn’t care, of course, but his entire demeanor shifts—his jaw clenches, he gets snarkier, and suddenly he’s pulling you closer, his arm resting on the back of your chair like it’s the most natural thing in the world ( you know he's never done that before )
later, when you call him out on it jokingly, he doesn't laugh—he grumbles, “I just don’t like people touching what’s mine, alright?” or some variation of that
SAM ( RELUCTANT WINGMAN )
Sam catches onto your and Dean’s growing romance before either of you even admit it. he's constantly giving you knowing looks, poking fun at Dean relentlessly, and occasionally drops casual remarks like “would you two go somewhere else to do that?” while you and Dean are going back and forth, making you both glare at him
he also becomes your confidant in the whole thing—originally, he gets grossed out when you talk about his brother with him—he ends up being someone who genuinely listens when you need to talk about Dean’s walls and your own feelings
GOING IT ALONE
in a reckless moment, you decide to try to take a case on solo, perhaps in an attempt to prove something ( to yourself or to them )
Dean and Sam find out too late, and they have to race to get to you before things go south. maybe you handle things yourself perfectly fine, or maybe you don’t and they have to save you. either way, after they show up and it's all said and done, you see the fear in both of their eyes at the realization that they could've lost you, though Dean's is quickly masked with anger. “you ever do that again, I’m handcuffing you to the goddamn Impala.”
HIGHWAY CHASE
a run-of-the-mill case takes a turn for the adrenaline-fueled and cinematic—you’re flying down an empty highway in the Impala, Sam loading a shotgun in the backseat while Dean grips the wheel, radio blaring classic rock. maybe you’re being chased, or maybe you’re doing the chasing. either way, the energy is sky-high and the air crackles with the electricity of a thrilling hunt
DOMESTIC MORNINGS AT THE BUNKER
imagine a slow morning at the bunker where you're not being chased by a demon or the gods: Sam reading at the table with a cup of tea, you curled up on the sofa with your coffee
Dean walks in, his spiky hair sticking up in all different directions, grumbling about how you and Sam wake up way too early
you tease him for being lazy, he steals a sip of your coffee in retribution ( even though he has his own and he doesn't even like yours. ) Sam rolls his eyes at your playful back-and-forth. it’s rare, these quiet moments, but you cherish all of them
HEART-TO-HEARTS IN THE IMPALA
hunts are tiring—physically and emotionally—and after one particularly taxing one, you and Dean drive alone in Baby, silence filling the space between songs on the radio. Sam is asleep in the backseat with his face mushed against the window, and the road stretches endlessly ahead
you both talk about the things you’d normally never say in the daylight. he tells you about his fears, his regrets, things you've never heard him say out loud, especially not with Sam around. maybe it ends in a kiss, maybe just a promise, or maybe it dissolves into silence as the two of you mull over all the things you said. either way, it’s a turning point
A HUNT GONE WRONG
a simple salt-and-burn ghost hunt turns into something much worse. the spirit isn’t what you expected—maybe it ends up being a vengeful god, an ancient curse, or something that shouldn’t even exist. point is, it's unbelievably far off from what you were expecting
the three of you barely make it out, retreating to the Impala, covered in dirt, breathing hard, the realization settling in: “we weren’t prepared for that.” it’s a humbling moment for you guys, a reminder that even experienced hunters don’t always have the upper hand
QUESTIONING EVERYTHING
during one of your run-of-the-mill hunts, you find out that the creature isn’t evil—or maybe the real monster is human. you’re forced to make a choice, one that goes against everything hunters are supposed to do, everything you've learned so far. maybe you keep it a secret to protect the object of your hunt, or perhaps Sam and Dean find out. either way, you’ll never look at hunting the same way again
DIVE BAR CONFESSIONS
you, Dean, and Sam hit up a dingy dive bar after a hunt. Sam’s rolling his eyes at you and Dean trading flirtatious jabs at eachother, but when Dean gets up to grab another drink, Sam leans over to you and gives you that classic protective brother talk ( you're shocked, Sam's never like that )
he gives you the whole "Dean’s been hurt before" rundown ( as if you didn’t know that, come on ) and that if you’re in this, you’d better be "all in." you're wide-eyed and nodding
later, Dean finds you outside the bar under the neon glow of the overhead lights, asking what Sam said. you can feel the weight of his past in his eyes, and it's up to you whether you tell him or not
SOMETHING IS FOLLOWING US
this is a long-term arc, something has latched onto the three of you—maybe a ghost that won’t move on, a demon keeping tabs, or an entity drawn to your energy. no matter what town you’re in, it’s there. watching. waiting
you're more perceptive than the boys, and you notice that something is up. the hairs on the back of your neck stand up sometimes, you're whipping around in an empty room to check behind you, eyes flicking to the empty window, just because you feel eyes on you. the boys don’t fully believe you at first, they think you're just paranoid from hunting, but the signs are undeniable
you eventually get your big fat "I told you so," moment, and it's one of the most satisfying things in the world

Letting go
Poly! Lost Boys x GN! Reader
A/n: I'll be honest. With angst, I'm always afraid that it somehow turns out more melodramatic than serious. So writing this was a bit of a rollercoaster. It has been sitting in my drafts for a while, and every time I came back to it, I was feeling different about it. At first I liked it, then not so much, then even less, at some point having no idea if it will even turn into something that makes sense. In the end, somehow it still turned into a fic I actually like. That's just what the writing process is all about I guess.
Word count: 3k
Warning: angst, bittersweet (hopeful?) ending
Prompt: “I’ll survive. Somehow I always do.”
The sudden appearance of a threat from your past forces you to make a hard decision.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was by pure chance that you caught his scent. He probably thought that the crowds and myriad smells of the boardwalk – the buttery aroma of popcorn, the sweetness of cotton candy, the salty ocean air and the sourness of human sweat – would mask his natural odor. And with good reason. It was the slightest change in wind direction that alerted you to his presence, a lucky coincidence that he couldn’t have anticipated. Had it not been for that, you probably wouldn’t have noticed him at all, not before it was too late. And there were too many instances of it almost being too late. He was a pro after all, he had surprised you before, and each time someone else paid the price. You wouldn’t let that happen this time.
“We need to leave.”
The casual chatter immediately died down around you, four pairs of eyes searching your face curiously. All they could find was grave seriousness with a hint of panic as you anxiously searched the crowd, looking for even just a glimpse of that familiar and dreaded figure.
“What’s the matter, sweetheart? Are you alright?” Dwayne’s gentle voice brought your attention back to them, their faces full of concern now as they noticed your quick and shallow breathing and shaking hands.
“No, I’m not. We need to go back to the cave. Right now.” Punctuating the last two words, you wasted no time, and headed for the bikes, quickly hopping onto David’s. Your urgent tone did the job as the boys followed close behind. David got on in front of you, your arms quickly wrapping themselves around him, seeking comfort and stability. But you knew you were rapidly losing both.
“We’ll talk about this when we get back.” His tone equaled yours in seriousness, and you felt your skin crawl with the uncomfortable anticipation of what was to come. But that was a matter for later, right now you just wanted to get as far away from here as possible. You couldn’t leave the boardwalk fast enough.
The ride back was tense. No cheers, no laughter this time, no enjoying the speed. They knew something was very wrong, your fear making them unnerved as well. You were stiff as a board behind David, always anticipating something to happen, your head whipping around in a blind search for some unseen danger. On one hand, you couldn’t wait to reach the safety of the cave, your home that you shared with your lovers for almost a decade. It has been so long. You genuinely thought you were finally safe, that you didn’t have to run anymore. And even though you wanted to get back as quickly as you could, the ride home also couldn’t be long enough. Because you knew what you had to do when you arrived. You tried to get yourself ready mentally, but felt like your world was falling apart around you too quickly. Before you knew it, you were slowing down.
After parking the bikes, you made your way down to the cave. Going at the front, you could feel their eyes on your back, you could feel the tension radiating off of David, the anxious energy coming from Paul.
As soon as your feet hit the cave floor, you headed for your nest, the place you shared with your boys. You tried not to think too much about how you have to rip yourself out of that intimate little safe haven as you started packing your stuff together.
“Whoa, whoa, slow down, sugar!” Marko’s sound of alarm alerted the others, and the next second a hand grabbed your arm, stopping your movements.
“What do you think you’re doing?” David’s eyes were swimming in emotions as you turned to look into them, confusion chased by a protective urge to eliminate the threat that had you so freaked out. And behind it all, even though he tried to hide it, you could see fear. He was scared that whatever was happening, it would change everything.
“Please let me go.” Your voice shook as you struggled to keep your composure. You didn’t want to break down, not if you really planned to go through with this.
“…are you leaving us? You’re not, right? Right?” There was hesitation in Paul’s voice and silent hoping on his face as he tried to cling to the smallest of chances that they were interpreting the situation wrong. But the moment you met his eyes, he saw the answer in them clear as day, and his expression crumbled, beautiful blue eyes already filling with tears as reality started to register to him. You knew then that your composure was out the window. Your lower lip began to tremble and you averted your gaze, not being able to look at him anymore.
“Why?” Marko’s fists were shaking as he spoke, not knowing what to do with the anger that was slowly boiling up inside him. He was angry at you, but more so at the nameless, faceless entity that caused your distress, forcing your hand to make this decision in the first place. In the back of his mind however, a small and ugly voice reared its head. His voice was a low rumble, thick with emotion as he asked, “Why are you doing this? You don’t love us anymore?”
You couldn’t hold yourself back. You dropped your bag on the floor and rushed over to him, enveloping him in a hug and cradling his head, burying your face in his neck as he desperately clung to you.
“Of course I still love you. I love all of you so much. Don’t you ever doubt that. That’s why I don’t have a choice.” Tears were stinging your eyes, but your voice was strong as you tried to reassure him with all your power, even though you knew you were breaking his heart. Even if it was the last thing you did for them, you had to make sure he understood how much they meant to you.
A hand landed on your shoulder, Dwayne’s voice resonating in your ear. “Please, talk to us. What’s wrong?”
You entangled yourself from Marko, but he was gripping your hand tightly as you turned around, fearing that you would disappear if he let go. You looked up at Dwayne, his eyes pleading with you to explain. He wanted to know the problem, so he can help you solve it, like he always did. Your gaze found Paul, then David, all of them waiting for an explanation. You knew you owed them that much.
Letting out a shaky breath, you began to talk. “There’s a hunter after me.” The declaration made all of them tense up. “He’s been following me for decades, chasing me all across the country. After coming to Santa Carla, I’ve been on edge for months, waiting for him to show up, but he never did.” You breathed out a pathetic little laugh. ”Then I met you guys, and I finally let myself feel at ease. I really thought I managed to lose him this time. That’s why I freaked out when I caught his scent at the boardwalk earlier.” Your voice strengthened with newfound resolve, steeling yourself for what you have to do. ”I can’t stay here anymore. I can’t let you all get caught up in this mess.”
David was listening to you in silence, his face growing more serious with each word. You could feel him slowly closing in on himself.
“But we could help you. There’s five of us and just one of him. With all of us together we can kill the bastard,” Marko argued, ready to go and jump into battle at you’re slightest sign of approval. Paul was nodding vehemently in agreement.
“I’ve heard that before and it never ended well.”
“You don’t even want to try? Are you willing to just throw this away so easily?” Marko was getting agitated, basically yelling at this point.
“Don’t you understand? I can’t afford to try! You don’t think I had tried to fight before? Of course I did!” Your voice was also rising in volume, desperation filling your lungs. “I fought so hard, tried to save every other vampire who gave me shelter before. The only reason they got exposed was because I was there. If I wasn’t, they wouldn’t have gotten caught up in this, and then maybe they wouldn’t have-“
A sob escaped your throat, unable to finish the sentence. You felt two strong arms wrap themselves around you as you started to shake, guiding you to the couch before all strength left your legs. You curled in on yourself as you cried against Dwayne’s chest. Gentle hands were rubbing your shoulders, wiping the tears from your face, running through your hair in soothing caresses, and through the haze of your grief and overwhelming guilt you faintly registered Paul and Marko’ presence next to you.
“I can’t lose you too, I couldn’t live with myself,” you cried in their embrace, their tender attention only making the ache in your chest ten times worse. They were so good to you, even though you were causing them so much pain.
They sat with you, whispering words of reassurance, all the while battling with their own thoughts. They didn’t want to accept this outcome where you had to leave them, even if you did it to protect them. Your presence took up too much of their lives and their hearts to just let this go.
After your sobs quietened to sniffles and shaky breaths, David finally spoke up.
“We can’t change your mind, can we?” He sounded resigned. He already knew there was no turning back to the way things were, even if the others still tried to fight it.
“You can’t be serious!” Marko turned to him vehemently.
“Marko, stand down,” David barked, the frustration evident in his voice. “Our love has clearly made a decision. We can’t force them to stay if they want to leave so bad.”
Even though this was exactly what you wanted, you couldn’t help but flinch a bit at the edge in his voice. So this was it, you thought, he was shutting you out, closing his walls around himself. You tried to ignore the little sting you felt somewhere deep inside you when he didn’t even look at you as he said it.
Marko looked lost as he turned from David to Dwayne to you, searching for any small reason he can still cling to, but found none. And he finally deflated when Dwayne added, “It’s what’s best for them.”
The silence that followed felt heavy with grief and heartbreak, and although you knew it was the best thing you could do, you couldn’t stop the constant fall of tears silently rolling down your cheeks. You heard Paul sniffle behind you where he was resting his forehead against your shoulder, breathing in your scent for as long as he could. Marko was holding onto your hand again, his thumb rubbing your knuckles in a soothing motion. You weren’t sure if it was meant for you or for himself. Dwayne pressed a kiss against the crown of your head where it was still buried in his chest. You all needed a few moments to take in each other’s presence and just exist, allowing yourselves a fleeting semblance of peace before it all fell apart.
“However.” Your gaze wandered back to David, and the look in his eyes struck something deep within you. “We let you go on one condition,” he held up a finger, and you stiffened, sitting up straighter. “You have to promise to come back.”
There was no hesitation in his voice as he said it, his gaze holding onto yours the whole time. You felt the need to blink a few times.
“I can’t promise that,” you looked at him confused. “As long as he lives I can’t come back here. I can’t risk that.”
“Promise that you will come back,” he continued, unwavering. “Do what you have to do, find a way to kill him, then come back to us.”
The way his eyes softened at that last part made your stomach flip. At the small tug on your finger you turned to Marko, his gaze full of emotion.
“Promise?”
“I can’t,” you answered, your voice nothing more than a hoarse whisper. “There’s no guarantee I would even come back. I can’t make you wait for me for eternity in the hopes that nothing bad happened to me.”
“You won’t make us do anything,” Dwayne took over, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “You made a choice to leave, so we made a choice to wait for your return.”
You were stunned. You tried to argue with him, but in the end you just closed your mouth. They were ready to let you go, even though you might never come back, even though it was breaking their own hearts. They loved you with all they had and were still willing to let you go so you could protect them. Not just that, they were willing to wait for you.
At that moment you realized you couldn’t run anymore. You can’t just leave, find a new place for a few years to hide then go on when he inevitably showed up again. You couldn’t let this go, couldn’t let them go. You had to fight him. You had to fight him and you had to kill him. It was the only way to come back to your boys, to live in peace without fear. Because even though the souls of the dead had been eating you from guilt, these boys were still alive. And as long as they are, they will be ready to welcome you back with open arms.
You pulled together the crumbs of your hope and determination, and decided to try once again, just one last time. You nodded slowly, the whispered “I promise” hung heavy in the silence of the cave.
It didn’t take long to pack your belongings. You didn’t have much, and what you did have was mostly stuff they gifted to you: a stuffed bear Dwayne won you at a game stall on the boardwalk, a bracelet Marko stole for you off of a tourist’s wrist after you commented on how much you liked it, a mixtape made by Paul of both of your favourite artists, a necklace David gave you when you joined the pack. Your bag was filled with trinkets and memories of your shared life. It gave you something to cling onto even though the future was full of uncertainty.
You desperately wanted more time, just one more day to spend with them, but you knew you needed to move fast. The hunter was already in Santa Carla, he probably already knew you were here. You didn’t dare risk him finding out about the boys too.
They accompanied you to the mouth of the cave. Looking out over the ocean, you took a big gulp of the fresh air and let it out in a shaky breath. You didn’t dare think about how you will accomplish what you had to do, the reality of that weighing heavy in the back of your mind.
Turning around, you let your eyes wander over you lovers once more, knowing that it might be the last time you ever see them. David looked back at you with a serious, determined expression, and you decided to ignore how the shadows seemed deeper on his face than you’ve ever seen before. He knew he had to be strong right now for all of you, and you were forever grateful for it. If he had shown even an ounce of doubt, you were sure you would have crumbled, giving access to the fear gnawing at your mind.
You stepped up to him first to say goodbye. His gloved hand came to rest against your cheek, and you leaned into his touch.
“When you’re done-“
“If.”
“When you’re done,” David continued undeterred, “with what you have to do, we’ll be right here, waiting for your return.”
Tears stung your eyes, but all you felt was overwhelming love for him.
“I will come back,” you whispered against his lips as you leaned in for one last kiss.
Next was Dwayne, eyes full of sorrow. You cradled his face in your hands, pulling him down, so you can press a kiss to the frown between his brows. He let out a deep sigh as you did, and you rested your forehead against his, both of you drinking in each other’s presence before you inevitably had to pull away.
Paul, always smiling, always laughing Paul was quiet. You gently ran your fingers through the messy hair on the side of his head, prompting him to look up at you. The second your eyes met, his lip began to tremble, and you leaned in to pepper soft kisses against it. His hands fisted your jacket as he pulled you closer, his mouth desperate against yours. Your heart broke a little when you pulled back, pressing one last peck on his cheek.
Lastly, you turned to Marko, who was so ready to jump into a fight for you head first, and now looked like he had no idea what to do. Before you could make a move, he threw himself at you, squeezing you against him with all his might. You hugged him back, burying your face into his shoulder, and you felt him do the same, inhaling your scent, committing it to his memory. You ignored the slight shake of his hands when he eventually let you go, instead pressing a gentle kiss against his forehead.
“What are you going to do? All alone against him,” he asked, needing some kind of reassurance that you will be alright.
You looked back at him with sad eyes.
“I’ll survive. Somehow, I always do.” It was all you could answer. But for the first time in a long while, the thought didn’t fill you with dread. Instead, something akin to hope was starting to sprout in the back of your mind. It was still a dainty little thing, but you were determined to let it blossom.
Still, as you stepped out into the night, you felt your heart break a little.

Rest now, my dear (Rest your weary head on my chest)—A short Shepnax fic
[Cos finale spoilers]
You should not be doing this. The cruel voice that sounded eerily like is Elders chastised. You are destined to die. You should not let yourself have this.
Why not? Why couldn’t he let himself have this, if he was going to lose it in a matter of days anyway? Why not let himself enjoy this while it lasts?
Sarnax usually was a light sleeper. He usually slept late in the night and rose with the sun—if not sooner. Shepherd did too, most nights. On the nights he slept, anyway. Today in particular took a lot out of the poor tiefling, to the point where he was out like a light the moment his head had hit the pillow. Sarnax, like usual, had stayed up an additional hour or so, praying to Gherix.
It was such a simple question. “I-I can’t sleep. N-not alone, anyway. Is it alright if we share a bed tonight?” Sarnax almost wanted to deny him. To send him right back to bed with a simple Calm Emotions spell, all alone.
Almost.
That led him to now, in Shepherd’s bed, struggling to sleep as he listened to the rhythmic snoring of his companion, their tails entwined with their arms around each other. They were clothed, though Shepherd wore very little—just a sweat-stained tank top that Sarnax was certain was his usual undershirt, and what Sarnax assumed to be his undershorts. Not that Sarnax could say anything, since he himself was wearing his underclothes (mostly to keep Shepherd comfortable).
Shepherd was so warm. And he smelled so nice.
Gherix truly must be cruel, to send Shepherd into his life, and force himself to let him go.
You must not think like that. Thoughts like that are blasphemous.
Right. His apologies.
Sarnax inhaled deeply, before sighing through his nose. No, he really should not let himself have this. Must not embrace his warmth. Must not surround himself in the natural musk mixed with bourbon and dust from the crypt.
Sarnax started to move, to wiggle his way out of Shepherd’s grasp, but all that did was stop the snoring.
Shit.
“Mm—Sarnax…?” Shepherd mumbled sleepily, one onyx eye peering open. “‘s it mornin’ already?”
“No, Shepherd, go back to sleep.” Sarnax whispered, petting Shepherd’s hair in an attempt to soothe him. It was long and greasy, and he couldn’t help but stare as it curled around his claw.
“Then where’re ya goin’?” Shepherd mumbled, closing his eyes and humming. “That feels nice…”
Sarnax smiled softly. “I am returning to my own bed.”
Shepherd’s eyes opened as he sat up, suddenly looking awake. “What? Why? Is my bed too uncomfortable for you? Is it…is it me?”
Oh, Gherix, the way Sarnax’s heart broke in twain in the way Shepherd sounded so small—so broken—with that last question.
You will do that to him. Such a cruel monster, indeed.
“It is nothing of the sort.” Sarnax eased. “I just…cannot let myself have something that I will lose in a mere matter of days.”
Shepherd’s brow furrowed. “The fuck’re ya talkin’ ‘bout, Sarnax? I ain’t gonna leave ya behind once we get outta here. Hells, you can…ya can come with me to Yona, if ya want.”
And my, wasn’t that a beautiful dream? To stay by his side in Yona, until their fires snuff out on their own? To wake beside him, to learn where he came from, to live in a home that is undeniably Shepherd.
“…Tell me about Yona.” Sarnax said softly, laying back down, with Shepherd following suit.
“Will it get ya to stay in bed with me?” Shepherd asked, a small smile on his lips.
“If you can calm my racing mind, and allow me to rest.” Sarnax replied.
Shepherd rolled his eyes, through the smile remained. “Fuckin’ poet.”
And so, Shepherd did. He described his childhood home in great detail, and their journey to Stryga in even greater detail. Soon enough, he started recounting stories of his childhood, fondness lacing his tone. All the while, Sarnax found his eyes closing, and soon enough, he drifted off to sleep, Shepherd not too far behind.

Transformers Outsiders Cast
Tumblr media
Im not like- the most happy with how Optimus turned out, but other than that im pretty happy with everything. Ill also write down some Bios for characters rq and add some other info
Optimus Prime
Formerly known as Orion Pax, Optimus Prime was once a lowly cargo runner between Cybertron's colonies with his best friend Dion. Though he wouldn't acquire the Matrix of leadership until much later in life, the moment he truly became Optimus was on the day his best friend died, having thrown himself between Orion and an enraged Senate Functionary, taking a shot to the chest meant for Orion. Orion didn't make it out easy however, as the shot managed to pierce Dion's back and hit him anyway, damaging his Transformation cog and leaving him prone to walking with a limp. Having made it out with his life, Orion was able to get reassigned to Archival work following the aid of Senator Crosscut. Years later Orion would find himself becoming close friends with another senator by the name of Megatron, only for Megatron to turn on him when Orion refused to overlook Megatron's plot to seize control of Cybertron through violence. Orion would "die" during the Siege of the grand Imperium, only to be rebuilt by a lowly street medic named Ratchet after being carried out of the building by Crosscut and Trailbreaker. Rebuilt and reborn, Optimus Prime would awaken months later and proceeded to lead the rebellion against Megatron's newly formed government.
Trailbreaker
More special than he knows, Trailbreaker acts as Optimus Prime's loyal second in command, having been one of the founding members of the Autobots. Trailbreaker is a former member of the Elite Guard who tends to struggle finding his place in any room, be it due to his formidable size, or just his overwhelming doubt in his own abilities. Before the war, Trailbreaker lost his left hand to a trophy hunter by the name of Lockdown, and with it, one of his many Force-field emitters. Though he mourns the loss of his hand, his focus has become more on finding Lockdown and bringing him down.
Sideswipe
A former streetrat, and the single best pilot to ever walk Cybertron, Sideswipe has a history of neglecting orders. Keen when it comes to individuality, Sideswipe holds a rather rocky relationship with his Sister Sunstreaker, worsened still by Sunstreaker's decision to join the Decepticons. Though he lacks any formal training, his combat style has proven highly effective in keeping himself and others alive. He might be rough around the edges, but Optimus knows he wants whats best for everyone.
Bluestreak
The single greatest shot Cybertron has ever seen, Bluestreak's body is nearly 60% integrated firearms. Were Trailbreaker to ever step down as Optimus Prime's second in command, Bluestreak would be the next in line to take up the role, having served loyally beside Optimus since the very beginning. Among Optimus's inner circle, she is by far the most lethal, a fact that even he can recognize is difficult for her to come to terms with. Before the war, Bluestreak was a member of the Helix Garden staff in her home city of Praxus, where she tended to their vast plant array stemming all the way back to planets that have long since dwindled into entropy. It was before the war however that her city was wiped out in an act known as "Declaration Day." She was the only survivor. The Autobot Insignia itself was based on her head design, intended to act as a symbol of resistance.
Ratchet
Ratchet is still young, and as such, she has high expectations placed upon her. Between her role as Optimus Prime's medic, and her mentor Medix's placement in stasis following the ark crashing on earth, she tends to doubt how qualified she actually is for her position. even so, she has showcased time and again that she is destined for greatness. She is, afterall, the one to have saved Optimus Prime's life all those years ago. Thankfully she doesn't have to face it all alone, as she has the Ark's medical VI, CatSCAN there to help her.
Cliffjumper
The youngest of Optimus Prime's crew, Cliffjumper was forged during the war, and as such never knew what Cybertron was like before it. its perhaps for this reason that Earth has become more of a home for him than Cybertron ever was. He might be impulsive and hardheaded at times, but Optimus knows he's a reliable scout who's more than capable of standing his own. He's also quite close friends with the earthling named Spike, as well as his friends Chip and Carly.
Moonracer
The smallest of Prime's crew, Moonracer's height is that of a human making it sometimes difficult for her to stand out. Though once she acted as a mail delivery girl on Cybertron, she now serves as spy and scout for the Autobots. She has showcased a great deal of promise regarding firearms, and as such has been taken under Bluestreak's wing as something of a mentorship, though lacking in formality. She also tends to struggle to make herself heard.

I Didn’t Mean to Say I Do, but I Do. I Do. 44
Chapter 44 out of 50
Secret marriage of convenience buddie slow burn AU, where Buck and Eddie have been married for years so Buck could adopt Chris and no one at the 118 knows.
In this chapter, Eddie doesn’t believe in signs, he is just working on saving people hit by the tsunami. However, a natural disaster forcing you back towards your family is as close to a sign as you can get.
On AO3.
Ships: Buddie
Warnings: injury, minor character death mention
~~~
Chapter 44: Looking for a Sign
A tsunami. Eddie honestly isn’t sure why he didn’t expect that when he came into work today with the craziness that is LA, but then again, no one expects a natural disaster a year after the last one. If he has to guess, the only person that expected this is his mom, who expects LA to be the most dangerous place on earth every day of the week.
Eddie is so glad they managed to mollify her with a promise of a few weeks stay in El Paso by Chris over the break, because he doesn’t think he would have survived this last period if she’d been berating him every second.
He’s only just finding his footing again, becoming more confident. He’s not out, far from it, but he’s gotten comfortable thinking of himself as gay.
Work has helped – as has Bosko of course, but work is different – because it’s the same. Neither he nor Buck mentioned their troubles at home, well, Eddie’s troubles, so the others don’t ask questions or send him worried looks. They just treat him like Eddie, like he’s still the same. He needs that.
Right now, though, work is not like usual. A natural disaster is always an all hands on deck situation and this is no different.
It’s unreal to look over the carnage and Eddie is starting to be real glad they live on the other side of town. Chris was a little bummed out in the car on Friday when he brought him home, because they were going to stay in this weekend. Then Eddie felt slightly bad, almost traded his shift to be free today too, but now he’s only relieved that the two of them are far away from here.
They’re in the boats and all they’re passing are dead bodies to tag, which is always unpleasant work. However, the living ones they’re going to encounter are bound to be worse. Disasters like these always leave gruesome wounds.
Indeed, the first call they answer is pretty bad with soon to be official step-father and son stuck together by a pole through the both of them. They get the son out, but the husband to be is a harder call.
Tensions are high as Bobby dives into the water while the rest of them work to keep Chuck alive as a second surge hits the boat and water starts to come in. Underwater CPR is not an experience Eddie would like to relive.
However, they get him alive into transport, which is more than Eddie thought they’d get when they first came upon the scene. Hen and Chim go with him, so it’s out of his hands, because he follows Bobby to the pier to serve as back up.
The back up in question, is necessary at a Ferris wheel with a bunch of people stuck on it without enough transport and hands to get them away, before it comes down.
“Hey, we could use a hand up here,” a very familiar voice suddenly calls down.
Eddie’s head snaps up and he exclaims: “Bosko?”
Indeed, it is Bosko, who looks surprised for a second. She’s completely soaked and not in natural disaster gear, but she grins down at Eddie. “Diaz, hey! You’re late.”
“Oh fuck off,” he calls back, scanning for injuries. She looks okay and she’s not completely devastated or whatever. However, she is definitely putting on a professional front and Eddie can’t spot any more firefighter blue anywhere.
“You know her?” Bobby asks.
“Yeah, that’s Bosko. She works at the 136, she was my partner while I was there,” Eddie says, already getting ready to climb out of the boat and onto the Ferris wheel. “We work well together, should I go help her?” he asks, though he’s not really asking for permission.
“Alright,” Bobby gives it anyway, “grab an extra harness, rope, pulleys, figure eight plates. I’ll coordinate evac and transport some down here.”
“Sounds like a plan, Cap,” Eddie grins, before doing what he was already going to do and climbing up to where Bosko is.
When he gets there, the man in the cart with Bosko seems to be okay, albeit terrified out of his mind, and the Ferris wheel is shaking. Trying to lighten the air a little, he comments: “That’s not part of the ride,” asking for more information at the same time.
“No, the spokes are coming off the hub. This thing’s been trashed,” Bosko says, focusing on the patient and not looking at Eddie. Her face is scratched up.
“What about you?” he asks. “Are you hurt?”
“No,” she answers curtly, before nodding at the man. “And neither is he.”
“I’m not going anywhere, not until the water is gone,” the man insists.
“Sir, if you don’t come with us, this whole thing will be gone,” Bosko says rather harshly.
Eddie has never seen her mad like that and the weird reality that he’s going to have to be the calm one between them settles in. He also turns to the man and says: “Don’t worry, buddy. I’m gonna get you down safely. I’m just gonna put this harness around you, okay?”
“Okay, okay,” the man nods, still terrified.
“Alright,” Eddie nods, going to help the man while questioning Bosko. “You guys were on the pier when it hit? Where is everyone?”
“Robin’s out sick today and Daisy was man behind. The others… we got separated to all spin cycle. I haven’t seen any of them. Station’s probably hit too,” she replies, mouth pursed as if angry, though Eddie can see it’s just her brave face.
“We’ll run into them at some point,” Eddie assures her. “Cap will let you join our rescue team, we can search for them while we help others.”
The line on her face turns into a small smile and she thanks him, before the two of them lower the terrified man down. With him safely down, they turn to the next cart. Bosko now manages to joke more, saying: “You didn’t want to go climbing with me tomorrow, let’s see how you do now, huh.”
“I didn’t turn you down because I can’t climb. I was half thinking to surprise Chris then, since he was kind of down yesterday, but that clearly isn’t going to happen,” he says, nodding at the carnage around them. “Besides, you’re friends with way too many of your exes, it’s weird.”
“It’s lesbian culture,” she corrects.
“Still weird,” Eddie complains, before showing her that he can climb just fine.
Their next patient is more what you expect when you hear natural disaster. The man’s a possible spinal and if they don’t get a hail Mary, he has a small chance or recovery, if not survival. It isn’t looking great for Max.
However, just because it’s not looking great, doesn’t mean they’re going to give up on him. So, they all work together to get a headboard and neck brace up there, so they can stabilize his neck, while they keep the two occupants distracted by asking what they’d been doing at the pier. Your divorce papers getting interrupted by a tsunami is certainly a story to tell.
It seems the guy was looking for a sign, a sign to try and save their marriage. Buck believes in signs like this. Eddie wonders if he’d see being on this call as a sign, then wonders if he should see it as a sign too.
He shakes off the thought, he doesn’t want to think about it. He doesn’t believe in signs and he’s not going to start now. It can work out between him and Buck, they can still be friends, maybe even stay married. This doesn’t need to be the end, Eddie just has to figure out how to make it right between them. With slight amusement he makes a mental note not to take Buck to the pier when he finally figures it out.
Still, despite not believing in signs, he is relieved when the chopper comes and Max moves his fingers.
It’s just because he’s glad the guy has a better chance to live, he tells himself, trying to ignore the bit of devastation he feels in his chest when Max signs the divorce papers anyway. He called them a beautiful disaster.
Eddie can’t help but apply it to himself. His years with Buck have been the best of his life by far, but, as they said when explaining why they didn’t divorce, things just kept happening. Maybe they are a disaster too?
He likes to think he’s wrong about that, but the thought haunts him as they watch the chopper take Max away.
They lower the woman down, then he and Bosko start to get ready for their climb down. Before they start, they hear Bobby call out: “Incoming! Debris!”
Both their heads snap out towards the water, indeed seeing a slew of debris coming their way, carried by the receding tide. Eddie looks at Bosko and quirks a brow: “Okay, so maybe you climb better, but how’s your diving?”
“What? You suddenly an artistic diver?” Bosko retorts with amusement, as she also stops getting ready to climb down.
“Nah,” he laughs, before jumping.
Bosko is right behind him, the two of them getting pulled onto the ship by Bobby before the debris hits. Behind them, the Ferris wheel that they were just on collapses and Eddie tries to take that as a sign that whatever happened on there doesn’t matter.
When they get back, the receded water means that they can now wade through the water on foot, which is good news, since the trucks are still stuck on the other side of town, unable to get through to them, and boats are in short supply.
“Hen and Chimney are readying some turnout backpacks until we’re mobile again,” Bobby explains to the both of them, seamlessly incorporating Bosko into their team like Eddie predicted. Then he stops and turns to her. “Bosko, your crew from your house are all alive and accounted for, except for Captain Cooper. He’s still MIA. I’m sorry.”
Eddie knows how much Ronnie means to her and he can see it in her eyes that the relief immediately gets overshadowed by grief. MIA in a situation like this is never good. Still, Bosko tries to swallow down the pain, masking with professionalism. “Well, if it’s all the same to you, Captain, I’m gonna stick around and look for him.”
However, Bobby is annoyingly perceptive sometimes, so he doesn’t agree to that immediately, instead asking: “Why are you holding yourself like that?”
“It’s nothing, bruised rib,” Bosko says, playing it off, but Eddie knows her better than that. He’s seen her get punched in the face and react the exact same way.
“Let me take a look at that,” he says, stepping closer.
“I said it’s nothing,” Bosko insists with a foul look send his way.
He sticks his chin out challengingly. She called him out on his bullshit, he’s allowed, if not required, to return the favor. “Then there’s no harm in letting me take a look at it. The sooner you let me, the sooner you can go look for Ronnie. Unless it’s more than a bruised rib?”
“You’re an asshole,” she hisses.
“So, I’m right and it is more than a bruised rib.”
“I liked you better when your head was still so stuck in your own ass that didn’t even know you were a dick, you know that, Diaz?”
“Hey, no need to get aggressive,” Bobby steps between the perceived start of their fight.
“It’s alright, Cap,” Eddie assures him, as Bobby sends him a weird look. It’s not necessarily the kind of friendship the 118 has with each other and he knows it. He just sends a smile back, before turning to Bosko and says: “I had to be honest with you, now it’s your turn.”
She looks away for a second with her jaw squared stubbornly. For a moment, Eddie thinks she isn’t going to answer, then she grits out: “Fine, it’s broken. But I’m fine. I can go on.”
“You sure?” Eddie pulls a disbelieving face. “Must be hurting like a bitch.”
“Yeah, well, breathing isn't super fun,” Bosko says annoyed. “But I’m fine. You know I can take a punch.” “Well, it’s not up to him,” Bobby interrupts them again. “It’s up to me and I’m calling it. You’re out the field. USAR Command is setting up the VA hospital on Sawtelle.” He turns to Eddie. “I want you to stick with her just in case her desire to track down her Captain causes her to lose her way. I’m going to-”
“This is bullshit,” Bosko cuts him off. “You’re not my Captain. My Captain is out there somewhere and I’m not abandoning him to this disaster.”
Eddie winces at that. He knows Bobby isn’t too strict when it comes to decorum, but if she goes on like that, he’s going to have to discipline her. He’s been through that once, would not recommend it in the slightest.
However, before he can say something to soften her words for Bobby, they hear screaming coming from down the street. It’s people calling out for help.
Their little crew is the only ones in the vicinity, so Bobby lets out the big breath he’d just taken and holds up a finger to Bosko. “You’re coming with us on this, only because I don’t trust you enough to let you go by yourself and I might need Eddie’s extra set of hands. You’re going to stand there, help with the light stuff maybe, then you’re going directly to the VA hospital. Am I clear?”
He is most definitely not clear and Bosko would totally argue if there weren’t people screaming for help, but for now she just grits: “Crystal, sir.”
“Good,” Bobby nods after one intense look in her eyes, then he turns on his heel and marches to the people calling out, Bosko and Eddie right behind him.
While they walk behind him, Eddie hisses: “What the hell was that? Do you want to get suspended for insubordination?”
“Of course not, but he can’t stop me,” Bosko frowns back. “You know Ronnie is my friend, you wouldn’t let your friends be alone out here, would you?”
Eddie makes a complicated face, because he knows she’s right, but he also knows Bobby is right. It isn’t that easy. “You’re hurt,” he ends up saying. “Ronnie wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself to look for him.”
“Good thing he’s not here to say that then, so I guess we won’t know for sure, and I say he’d want me to look for him,” Bosko retorts. “What if it were Buck out there?”
“That’s a low blow,” Eddie says, not able to deny it, but still not liking it, sending a glance over to Bobby to make sure he hasn’t heard.
“But it’s true,” Bosko says. “Where is he today? He okay?”
“He’s home with Chris. Lazy day in probably and far away from all this,” Eddie says.
“Did you call them to tell them you’re okay?” Bosko asks and that’s a good point. He hasn’t spoken to Buck yet, not really, but a natural disaster is a good reason to break the habit. It could even be a first step towards coming home. Maybe this is his sign.
“I’ll call when I’m bringing you to the VA hospital.”
“Yeah, like I’m going to let you take me there,” Bosko mutters darkly.
Before Eddie can reply to that, they’ve made their way to a group of people. They’re all standing next to a fire engine or helping people down from it. Upon closer inspection, Eddie realizes it’s the fire engine of the 136. These people must have sheltered on it while the water raged around them.
Once they’re close enough, Bobby calls out: “LAFD, we’re here to help. What’s the problem? Is anyone hurt or stuck?”
“Plenty of people are hurt, but no one serious,” a woman says. “We need you to help us find this man. He saved us all. Pulled us up onto this truck when we drifted by, but he got swept away. He could be hurt.”
“Eddie here can check all of you over,” Bobby tells her gently. “What’s your name?”
“Marissa,” she answers.
“Well, Marissa, we can’t make any promises about finding your rescuer, but if you give us a description, we’ll make sure to keep an eye out for him,” Bobby says
“He’s tall, very tall, and white,” Marissa says. “Some of the debris must have hit him in the face, because he has a bruise on his eye. He’s blond.”
“No, you’re saying it all wrong,” another woman says. “He’s a redhead.”
“No, he’s not,” Marissa insists. “He pulled me out early, I had a good look at him.”
“Well, then you’re blind,” a man is now interjecting himself into the conversation as well. “He is definitely Hispanic.”
Marissa pulls a face. “He’s so not Hispanic.”
“Yes, he is,” the man insists.
The other woman is now picking his side as well, saying: “Yeah, you don’t have to be dark skinned to be Hispanic. You should check your stereotypes.” She turns to Bobby and says: “He’s Hispanic, his kid called him papi. He’s a tall, light skinned, redhead.”
“His hair is more a dirty blond, brownish color,” someone else says.
“No, his hair clashed with his shirt, which was red, so he’s a redhead,” the other woman says as if it is fact.
The three firefighters watch them squabbling about the rescuer’s appearance for a few seconds with confused blinks. It’s truly fascinating how normal people can act even in the face of horrifying events. They see it every day, people who are stabbed and bleeding out, but talking about the weather or complaining that the neck brace is itchy while they might be paralyzed.
Bobby, however, doesn’t have time for it, silencing the crowd as he raises his voice: “Can anyone here give us one description? Or a name? You mentioned a kid, do you still have the kid?”
“I don’t know,” the woman who first mentioned the kid says. “He fell off the truck. It’s why he dove off it again. Didn’t hesitate for a second. It was when the tide receded.” She calls out. “Did anyone see his kid?”
“Yeah, we got him here,” a voice from the back of the crowd calls back. “He managed to grab onto a windowsill a street down.”
“Bring him here,” Bobby calls back.
Eddie is focusing on wrapping the man’s hand, since he still has a job to do. They can’t look for every person, but it’s good to have descriptions of people who are out here so they can get an overview of the total victim count. Maybe give some family out there some closure.
However, he looks up when he hears a sharp intake from Bobby. That’s never a good sound and it seems even worse when he sees Bobby. He’s become white and looks sickened at what is coming towards them through the parting crowd.
He looks to what Bobby might be seeing that is horrifying him this much. It’s a short woman carrying a kid, looking to be between seven or nine. Probably eight. The kid is wearing a yellow striped shirt and brown pants, on his head is a mop full of curls and a strap to hold his glasses in place…
Horror overtakes him too as the kid starts to look more and more familiar. Thoughtlessly he abandons the man’s wound as he gets up from his squat, ignoring the “Hey!” the man lets out.
He feels like he can’t breathe as the woman softly says: “He’s looking for his papi,” before she turns the kid towards them, indeed revealing a face Eddie would usually love to see, but not in these circumstances. Never in these circumstances.
“Christopher?”
Indeed it’s Chris, who blinks more water out of his eyes, before his eyes focus on Eddie. The moment he recognizes him, his face crumbles and he cries out: “Daddy!”
People all but jump out of his way as he rushes towards the woman, realization dawning on their faces of what that must mean for the relationship between him and their rescuer. Eddie’s mind isn’t even there yet, too focused on Chris.
Eddie snatches Chris out of the woman’s arms, hugging him close to his chest as he chokes: “Oh my god, Chris.”
“Daddy,” Chris cries, clutching Eddie as tightly as he can, sobbing into his shoulder much like he’d done in the hospital, now already about four months ago.
He runs his fingers all over Chris’s body, feeling for injuries, relieved when he doesn’t find any broken ribs or other broken bones. He forces Chris’s face away from his shoulder, cupping his cheek as he feels his skull and checks his pupils. “What were you doing out here, mijo?”
“We were going to the pier to celebrate my good grade. I was sad because you weren’t going to be here and papi wanted to cheer me up,” Chris sniffles. “Then the water was gone.”
Suddenly his brain comes back online from where it had dropped off this plane of existence in the face of worrying about Chris. About his son. The description Marissa gave them of their rescuer comes back to him…
‘He’s tall, very tall, and white. Some of the debris must have hit him in the face, because he has a bruise on his eye. He’s blond.’
Buck.
Oh god, Buck.
Eddie maneuvers Chris onto his hip with practiced ease, numb hands fumbling for his phone as he unlocks it and goes to his gallery. Without Buck there, he takes even less photos than he normally would, so his recent pictures all still have Buck in them.
He clicks one blindly and turns the screen back to the other woman – he still hasn’t heard her name and he doesn’t care much either – as he desperately asks: “Is this- Is this him? Is this the man that pulled you out?”
“Y- Yeah, yeah, that’s him,” she stammers, slightly overwhelmed by his intensity.
No.
Just no.
A minute ago, Buck was far from this and at home. He was safe. Now he’s somewhere out here in this hellhole, probably alone, maybe even injured and definitely not back to full strength yet, no matter how far he’s come with his PT.
Buck was out here to cheer Chris up, because Eddie hasn’t been home. If he’d only gone home, then they would be there now. Safe. Now, he has a scared Chris in his arms and Buck is missing. He is missing. And Eddie might never get to see him again.
It’s suddenly a lot harder to breathe and his whole world falls apart around him. He is supposed to find a way to come home. He’s supposed to come home to Buck, he can’t be out here. He can’t be injured or worse. He hoped this disaster was a sign to come home, not a sign that he’s losing it all before he can even try to fix it.
Eddie has to find him. He has to find him right now. Bosko’s hypothetical from earlier is reality and Eddie knows now better than before that she was right. He will do anything to make sure Buck is okay. That he is found.
A hand on his shoulder startles him and he spins around to the source. It’s Bobby, giving him a concerned and sympathetic look, his own heartbreak and fear mirrored on the Captain’s face.
“It’s Buck,” he finally manages. “Buck is out there.”
“And we’ll find him,” Bobby assures him. “But you’re too close to this now, Eddie. We both know that. You’re compromised. Take Bosko to the VA hospital and help out there. You can’t be out on the field anymore either.”
A/N:
TSUNAMI ARC! TSUNAMI ARC! I am so fucking thrilled to be here, I’ve been wanting to write an AU of that arc for so long now, so I’m gonna go hog wild! (Also place your bets now people, is Eddie gonna listen to Bobby)
January 1984*
It’s cute, really. Whenever one of you slip and you feel a clatter of your two front teeth hit his, Gareth muffles out ‘sorry,’ but you couldn’t care less. You slot your lips against his over and over again, while melting deeper into his touch.
The taste of his breath. The tenderness of his hands gracing your thighs. Teasing and testing the waters of too far or just far enough. Your heart beats bounce against one another.
Somewhere in the background, film credits bounce across a black screen. You’ve lost the plot a while ago, and you don’t really care to find out what you’ve missed.
Gareth has snuck you into his home, while his mom is at work. It’s a perfectly snowy afternoon that should have kept her longer than it usually does to drive back home. Since the weather was worsening, Sarah worried for her son. She’s come home early.
Footsteps nearing separate you in a flash. Too little too late. She stands with a hand on her hip, and a folded lip that tells him exactly how much trouble he’s gotten himself into.
“It’s late,” you purposefully skip kissing Gareth ‘goodbye’ due to sheer embarrassment. Waving a short hand at Miss Jones, you scamper out of there faster than a rabbit being chased by a hunter.
Gareth wants to shrink into the couch, but offers an ice breaking smile.
“Dining room,” his mom instructs.
This is where all serious conversations happen. Whenever Gareth is flunking out of a class, he gets a lecture in the dining room. Or, when he scratched paint off of his mom’s car because he rode his bike too close. Dining room lecture.
Now, what?
As most of the lectures go, Gareth is sat across from his mom. She lays her hands on the table flat, as though she’s counting the knuckles in each hand. This is a common technique to calm her from her frustrations, or too think properly over what she’s about to say.
“Gareth,” she begins. “I’m very happy you’re in a relationship with someone you really like. It’s not appropriate to have her here when I’m not here. Especially, like that.”
“Mom,” Gareth squirms.
“Don’t slouch.”
He rolls his shoulders back.
“Are you-,” she wants to be there less than he does. But, the least she can do is make sure that he’s respecting you. “Are you safe?”
Completely red in the face, Gareth digs his nails into the wood of the chair he sits in. You’re not even there yet in your relationship. How could she ruin something good, before it even happens?
“Because you know- you can buy condoms at the store. I- I could pick you up a box.”
Gareth puts his head down.
“Sit up,” she taps the table. “This is important.”
“Mom,” he groans, “you cannot buy me condoms.”
“I could- just this once. It’s not just for you, you know.”
“I’m going to bed,” Gareth pushes out his chair.
“There are diseases!” She warns all but too late. Her son has scampered away to his room upstairs. The door shuts quietly.
It’s later in the evening when Gareth rises from his nap. At the time, he’s forgotten the earlier conversation with his mom. He assumes it’s safe to come downstairs.
While he rummaged through the fridge for a snack, he overhears his mom on the phone. Judging by her pitch, the call is important.
“Gareth,” she urges from the dining room.
With few words, she hands the telephone over to Gareth. Trading him the phone for his snack, she dives out of view into the living room. There’s only one person that could be on the other line that she so willingly gave up the phone for.
“Dad?” Gareth speaks into the telephone.
“Hey, kiddo,” he bellows, “your mom wants me to talk to you about some things.”
“Oh my god,” Gareth covers the phone with his left hand. Shouting to his mother, he says, “You called, dad?!”
What are your thoughts on Lily Evans? For being the whole reason the books happen, she gets surprisingly little insight into her.
And I do think that's the point. For Harry, she is more of a cosmic force than a person. She's like gravity. Her sacrifice is this single huge thing that will always protect him and connect him to her, even though he never really learns everything about her. This lets Lily be the perfect, tragic everywoman, and lets Harry explore the tragedy of never really being able to know a parent.
(Like - I think it's very interesting that the *films* give us a lot more specific details about her than the books do. Slughorn's whole "Francis the Fish" anecdote, Lupin reminiscing about her, the detail that she was close with Lupin. Movie specific. The way the books treat Lily as this ever-present benevolent force is honestly pretty literary.)
But that means. That because Lily is purposefully vaguely written, she gets defined by her place in the narrative and her relationship with the people in her life. So Petunia, Severus, James. Which MEANS that people with strong opinions about those characters are going to characterize Lily to *fit.* Severus was a sad, manipulated woobie? Well, then Lily was too harsh to him and never should have married his bully. Severus is a obsessive stalkery incel? Lily is a girlboss who kicked him to the curb. James is a trashfire who you ship with Sirius or Regulus? Lily is a goddess who is too good for him. James is cute and snarky and Harry 2.0? Lily is... probably an author/reader insert. Hermione got hit (gets hit) with MAJOR reader insert syndrome, which I completely understand. She's the only central girl and a relatable conduit who can date... whoever you're into. Harry, Ron, Draco, Severus. I imagine that Lily gets that times a million, being the *only* central girl in the Marauder era. So you get Jilly, Lillypad, Jillypad. Do people ship her with Regulus?
If I were to write her... I think "model minority" vibes makes sense. She's a muggleborn, from a poor background (which is something we know her sister struggles with.) Slughorn (with his pro-pureblood prejudice) thinks she was fantastic. I think Lily probably felt the pressure to be EXTRA good, in a Hermione kind of way. She's also the "special one" in her family, which Petunia resents her for. So I'm thinking at home she's the Golden Child? Which is a ego-boosting, but also stressful place to be, because failure isn't really an option.
I don't think I'm meant to pair the Petunia/Vernon "marrying up" vibes with Lily/James, but if I'm getting all psychological about Lily, I probably would. James DOES represent wealth and security, after going from one situation where she's got shaky societal footing... to ANOTHER situation where she's got shaky societal footing. Only now she can make potions. Severus ingratiated himself with the Slytherin purebloods as a survival tactic, and Lily probably did the same thing with the Gryffindor purebloods. The difference is she's not willing to put up with as much bad behavior as Severus is (but like... she's willing to put up with *some.* The Marauders canonically got pretty brutal.)
Also, Severus is kinda a snarky bastard, and so was Sirius. James was a bit more jock flavored, but she got along well with all of them. She herself probably has a bit of a wicked streak, I don't think any of those people would have hung out with someone who was just sweetness and light all the time. Also, we know how important it is to JKR to be "not like other girls" and like... Lily is her ideal girl, so...
I also 100% get sports couple vibes from Lily and James. I mean, baby Harry is flying around on a baby broomstick. Lily's 100% got a sports jersey that she wears around the house, and she and James make a big deal about Game Day. But really, there's not much specific about her I can extrapolate from the books.
(This meta also does a really nice job of going into how ultimately Lily is a mirror, in a fascinating kind of way.)
“Surely you must be lying.”
Cregan, who was already overwhelmed and upset with you, sighed in defeat. “I cannot explain to you how truly I wish I was.”
“I’m going to kill him,” you said, storming off past your brother with an intensity that only the culprit of your anger could match.
It was much too early in the morn for you to be dealing with such a strife, but it could not wait. He would not ever expect to, anyway.
You pushed open the Great Hall doors so forcefully that they slammed back against the wall, violently alerting the room’s occupant of your presence. You stopped just after the doors, refusing to grant him the kindness of moving any closer.
“I cannot fathom one singular acceptable reason for your being here,” you spat.
Aemond smirked, still nonchalantly hunched over in a grand chair. “Trust me, I did not wish this so.”
“Oh, you mean to tell me the great one-eyed prince had his hand forced? Not likely.”
“I’ve never seen you quite this angry,” Aemond taunted, “I rather enjoy it.”
Aemond tried to stand, but you quickly warned, “move and I’ll kill you.”
“Doubtful,” he said, still nonchalant as he stood and straightened out his back.
“Aemond, I swear to the sep-“
“I’m here for my brother.”
Despite your anger, you were taken aback by Aemond’s words. Aegon had left days ago.
“Sore luck checking here.”
“I know he came here. Give him back and I’ll depart.”
You scoffed. “You make the mistake of assuming your brother is a piece of property, much like how you treated me.”
“Give him back and I’ll depart,” he repeated.
“I already told you, he’s not here.”
“You think I cannot tell when you lie?” Aemond contested, stepping forward.
“Do not take another step,” you warned.
“What reason do you have to guard him, hm? You truly fancy him so much? Clearly you must if you bed him,” Aemond said, stepping even closer.
“I do not enjoy repeating myself,” you said.
Aemond was now even closer to you, his body mere inches from your own. “Give me Aegon.”
You spoke through gritted teeth, pausing between your words for emphasis, “he. Is. Not. Here.”
Aemond stepped closer, and you took a step backward to avoid your bodies touching. He did not stop, however, and continued to encroach upon your personal space until your back hit the wall of the dining hall.
Aemond slammed his hands against the wall on either side of your head, trapping you in the cage of his presence.
“You think I wanted to come here? Do you think I would have truly done so if not necessary?”
You were taken aback by Aemond’s sudden candor. “If you wish to see your brother, you should look no further than your own home. He left Winterfell as quickly as he came.”
“Then explain to me why his bed has remained unoccupied.”
“What makes you think I would know? Perhaps he frequents the very brothel he, like yourself, found me in.”
Aemond’s face was intimately close to your own, but you tried your hardest to focus your gaze toward his eye. You remained in a stalemate for several moments, exchanging a weighted stare.
“Okay,” Aemond said, backing away and holding his arms behind his back in a proper stance, “did he say where he was headed?”
“I suppose he returned home, Aemond, I do not keep track of your king.”
Aemond remained silent.
You both stared expectantly at one another, yet the room filled with silence.
“I am to wed Jacaerys in the morn,” you said, calculated but somewhat blurt out.
“I am aware.”
“Do you not, perhaps, think it nice to attend?”
Aemond stared at you for a moment. “You wish for me to attend your wedding?”
“You are already here.”
Aemond nearly scoffed. “You have not hidden your disdain for me, Stark. Extending the courtesy of an invitation does not mask such things.”
“Contrary to what you may believe, I do not enjoy hating you,” you said.
“I very hesitantly decline.”
You furrowed your brow. “You decline?”
You had extended the invitation, perhaps for selfish reasoning, but outwardly to show Aemond a kindness. After all he had put you through, the very least he could do was attend your wedding. After all, it has been his own actions that were responsible for its delay.
“Accept my gratitude for the invitation-“
“After all you have done-“
“After all I have done?” Aemond’s voice suddenly raised, but you stopped him before he could continue.
“I thought you and I had an understanding, yet you told of my doings in King’s Landing in a heinous letter to my brother. I did not think you so spiteful. You- you-“
“You- you have been the very bane of my existence,” he took over, “You have contradicted my every action, my every word, my every thought, and held yourself in rather high regard in doing so. You spoilt an alliance with the North for my house-“
“You petulant child!” you cut him off, your voice overtaking his, “is all you care about your honor? Your duty? Is kindness for naught? You dare take anger with me and speak that I spoilt an alliance for your house? Do you forget what you’ve done? How you threatened to burn my home? Abducted me from it? Kept me prisoner in hopes I would bend to your will?”
“I did what I had to do!” Aemond screamed, “while you spent the time you could have been comfortable in a castle slumming it as a whore-“
“Are you truly so bothered that you could not bend me to your will? All you want is to feel like you have the power, like you’re a man more so than your brother. You never cared about a marriage, you never thought of even attempting to gain my affections, yet you storm around this room, in my home, like a toddler whose toy has been taken away-“
“I AM BOTHERED BECAUSE I COULD NOT GAIN YOUR AFFECTIONS!”
It was not often you were rendered speechless. It was not in your nature. However, upon hearing Aemond’s rather bellowing confession, all time stood still.
He suddenly became brutally aware of his words, and quieted his voice, fighting to calm down his angered breaths as he looked to you for a retort.
“Excuse me?” you spoke, your voice low.
You looked to Aemond, but he could not speak. He had stunned himself into silence.
You swallowed hard as the air thickened. You initiated a break in eye contact and attempted to collect your thoughts quicker than usual. You had to speak first, and you had to have the last word.
“I will ask the handmaidens to prepare a bed chamber in the Guest House near the Godswood,” you said, your tone forcefully monotonous, “I shall see you in the morn.”
You, without looking up at Aemond, turned on your heel and exited the Great Hall.
────── ☾ ──────
The thrashing of your body against the mattress abruptly pulled you from slumber, your handmaidens frantic as they shook you awake.
No one was more excited for your wedding day, perhaps, than your handmaidens. As women you considered friends, they had all seen the sparks fly between you and Jacaerys, and had all looked forward to this day for as long as you were old enough for men to propose marriage to their son for a trade of goods.
You reminded yourself of all that was at stake; you wanted this marriage, you wanted Jacaerys, but that did not mean there was no turmoil ahead. Jacaerys’s family would, as tradition tells, be in attendance. You had never been granted the privilege of meeting the Queen.
You contemplated that it was a rather crass and impulsive decision to ask Aemond to attend, given that he was perhaps Rhaenyra’s biggest foe. Yes, Aegon had her throne, but Aemond was more of a threat to Rhaenyra and her cause, and all of the realm knew it.
You allowed yourself a moment of calm as you remembered Aemond’s decline of your invitation and your subsequent argument.
The argument.
Had Aemond truly spoken the words you believed to have heard? Had he truly said he was bothered by his inability to gain your affections? Had he wanted to gain your affections?
As you stated into the mirror, your handmaidens tending to your hair, you wondered if you had possibly forsaken the depth of Aemond’s character. Had you been so headstrong as to miss a whole other person behind the eye? You had experienced the same with Aegon.
It was the day you were to wed Jacaerys, and you could not forget the two silver-haired brothers who had plagued your past several weeks.
“It’s time!” your handmaidens exclaimed.
You glanced in the mirror one final time to ensure all the minute details of your appearance were up to your standards before you were whisked away to marry Jacaerys.
You were grateful that he had agreed to host the wedding in Winterfell. Winterfell was, while devoted to the Blacks, a more neutral space than Dragonstone. Had Aemond or Aegon agreed to attend, a wedding elsewhere would not likely ever take place.
The wedding was beautiful.
Your handmaidens has spearheaded a majority of the work, being that the work had begun, then you were kidnapped and the work was halted, and then a while later you returned and agreed to wed Jacaerys rather soon after.
You had made it to your reception, a rather lavish affair considering it was the wedding of the Prince of the Seven Kingdoms. You understood that this wedding was special. Jacaerys was to be King someday, and therefore you were to be Queen.
Jacaerys seemed elated the entire time. You were able to grasp a quick moment of solitude in a whisper between chairs.
“Jace?”
“Yes?”
“Is everything alright? I know it’s been a rather tumultuous week and-“
Jacaerys sighed. “My love, I’ve already told you I am not angry about what transpired with Aegon. Even if I had been, this is our wedding. And our wedding day means a rather fun wedding night, wouldn’t you agree?”
He was evidently feeling the effects of the many cups he has drank thus far.
You smiled at your now-husband. “Jacaerys Velaryon, are you flirting with me? But won’t your wife see?”
Jacaerys leaned over to whisper in your ear, “I’ve heard you could probably fuck better anyway.”
You leaned away and caught his gaze to gage whether or not he meant it as spite toward you, but the look on his face immediately explained that he meant it positively. Being experienced acted as a rather unexpected turn on for your husband.
────── ☾ ──────
“Are you still drunk?”
Jacaerys smiled. “I appreciate your concern, but no,” he insisted, “I’m well sobered up for this.”
You sat on your bed, still fully clothed, in anticipation of the bedding ceremony. Jacaerys extended his hand to you, and you placed yours in his, allowing him to guide you to a stand.
“Can I take this dress off of you?” he asked.
You smiled at his sweetness. “Yes.”
Jacaerys undid all the small buttons aligned down your back and slipped top of the dress down your shoulders, allowing you to shimmy out of the remainder of the rather lavish gown.
You were so focused on disrobing that you had not noticed Jacaerys’s momentary absence until he returned in front of you, holding out a black cloak.
You looked up at him with a questioning expression.
“I am in this for every part of you, Stark,” he explained, “a bedding ceremony in this castle just simply will not do. It is not fit for you.”
“Jacaerys-“
He held up a hand to signal that he intended to continue. “We do not have to. However, please understand that I want to know. I want to experience. I want to feel the freedom you feel in those places. Teach me, Y/N. Please.”
You searched Jacaerys’s eyes for any hint of hesitation or untruthfulness, but to no avail. The prospect of brothels excited him, but he was not one to attend. He craved connection, and he craved intimacy with a name, a personality, a partner. The dichotomy had lived within him, and your secret profession was finally an outlet.
“We must be extremely discreet.”
────── ☾ ──────
You took Jacaerys to the brothel you worked at, perhaps no longer. You had advised him to still maintain anonymity via his cloak, for regardless of the higher safety of your concealed identity at this particular brothel, you were still in Winterfell, and you were still a Stark.
At the allowance of the Madam, you began to pull Jacaerys toward an unoccupied room. Once inside, you removed the hood of your cloak. Jacaerys followed suit.
“‘Tis loud in here,” Jacaerys said, in reference to the moaning and bellowing laughter of collective drunken men.
You nodded. Jacaerys wasted no time.
He pulled your waist into his body, crashing his lips against yours as if he had been waiting to reunite with them for ages.
Your hands instinctively found their way through the curly black strands of his hair, keeping him close to you as the kiss remained hungry and needy.
You managed to escape for a breath just long enough to say, “wait.”
Jacaerys pulled away with a pout on his lips.
“Patience, Jace, allow me to get some cups in here.”
“But-“
“I will not be but two minutes.”
Jacaerys pouted as you began to exit the room, flipping your hood upward.
Jacaerys reached out for your arm to pull you back. “Baby, please.”
The pet name almost stopped you, but you persevered. When you still left, he plopped down on the bed like a toddler in want throwing a tantrum.
You kept your head down as you navigated through the brothel. You saw approaching footsteps as a guide to where you could step, and you had managed to memorize the layout of the brothel by heart. You made it to the bar without having to look at any of your immediate surroundings.
It was not until the Madam approached you that you halfway lifted your head and requested two cups of water and two cups of wine.
“You’re fucking kidding me.”
The voice to your right was all too familiar.
You were taken aback by the sight of him. He would appear drunk to the naked eye, but you knew him. The look in his eyes communicated that he had drank to the point of intolerance, no longer drunk, but drinking nonetheless.
Aemond was right. He had not returned home. He had never even left Winterfell.
“What are you doing here?”
“Could ask you the same,” he said, taking a large gulp from his cup, “or is it not your wedding night?”
He refused to look you in the eye. In fact, he had not looked toward you at all. He was able to identify your voice, even with the cloaked barrier between the two of you.
“Aegon, you told me you would leave the morn after whence you came.”
“Evidently I did not.”
The Madam placed the drinks in front of you, and you smiled as a thank you, waiting until she left your space to continue speaking to Aegon.
“Why?”
Aegon simply let out a laughable scoff and continued to drink.
“Aegon.”
“Y/N.”
“What are you doing in Winterfell, Aegon.” It was phrased more as an exhausted sentence, rather than a genuine question.
Aegon sighed. “You mustn’t pretend as if you are unaware of my plights.”
You were not unaware. You had thought of him many a time since your intimacy together, and you knew he had done the same. You also knew that you and Aegon were far past the point of disguising vulnerabilities.
“Is Jace around? Or are you a lone wolf on your wedding night? My little nephew can’t handle you?”
“Do not bait me, Aegon, you know it will not work,” you said.
“No, no, where is he? Is he here?” Aegon stood abruptly, swinging wine out of his cup as he began to spin around.
“Aegon-“
“Is he in here?” Aegon approached an occupied room, swinging back the fabric to see a worker and her customer.
“Nope,” Aegon said, moving on to another room, “maybe he’s hiding in here!”
Aegon swung the fabric open to find his own flesh and blood curled into a ball on the mattress, two workers surrounding him as he lay with his head in one of their laps.
He shot upward the moment he spotted Aegon, and his body stilled when he noticed you.
Aegon erupted into cacophonous laughter, a wide grin appearing on his features for perhaps the first time tonight.
Aemond stood and began to tie a robe around his lean, tall frame, pretending as if Aegon’s interruption and subsequent laughter did not bother him.
“Oh, what a sight! We shall never need comfort of our mother if we find solace here! How sweet of you. Tell me, do you even fuck them, or do you-“
Aemond pushed past both of you, but you gripped his wrist before he could make it fully past you.
He looked to where you had caught him, then up to your face.
“What are you doing here?” Aegon squealed.
Aemond stayed silent.
“I cannot stand you two. Come with me,” you said.
You pulled Aemond along, and he only obliged so as not to cause a scene and draw attention to himself or his brother. Aegon followed you out of pure amusement.
When you entered the room with Jacaerys, he was already shirtless, adjusting his posture on the bed to try to look proper for your return. When he spotted his uncles, he reacted the same as Aemond had, shooting upward to a stand.
You dropped Aemond’s hand and stood across from the three Targaryen-blooded men. Dropping your cloak off of your body, you took a large breath.
“Well, get on with it, then,” Aegon prompted.
“You,” you started, pressing a pointer finger into Aegon and Aemond’s chests, “you two have been sulking and stalking around Winterfell without a word. What am I, your mother? A king and a soldier should be able to overcome their own woes.”
“So you admit I am king?” Aegon smiled.
“Never.”
“Why have you lingered in the North so long?” Aemond cut you off, turning to his brother, “I am only here because your incompetent council sent me to retrieve you.”
“I do not need retrieving, thank you, brother,” Aegon responded.
“I opt to disagree, for it appears that you’ve spent the last several days drowning your sorrows in snowy brothels in hopes you’ll find yourself another pet wolf, or am I mistaken?”
“Mind your tongue and remember your place,” Aegon spit.
“This is-“
Jacaerys attempted to interject, but his two uncles were too far invested in their own bickering.
“Just as well for you to remember yours. What King discards their duty for the loss of a woman that was not theirs to lose? You are but a placeholder, you evidently do not deserve-“
“You speak so confidently for a man in my same position when it comes to wolves.”
Jacaerys began to understand. He knew you had shared intimacies with Aegon, and he had yet to question you on the dynamics present during your time with his other uncle. He had fallen for you rather easily, and would never admit it aloud, but could understand how his uncles could do just the same. Though it left a bitter taste in his mouth, he knew you were much too special to win the heart of only one man.
The realization caused Jacaerys to become somewhat competitive and possessive. “You are both aware we wed today,” he said.
Aemond and Aegon turned toward him.
“Despite my best efforts,” Aegon mumbled.
“Oh shut it, Aegon, you have already had her,” Jacaerys snapped back, “what sorrows do you possibly have to drown?”
“You married her.”
“And I have been cast as the villain, yet you two continue to be the ones to bicker,” Aemond spoke, level-headed.
“Perhaps you were cast as the villain because you acted as such,” Jacaerys shrugged.
“Say that again,” Aemond challenged, stepping closer to Jacaerys and towering over him. Had he possessed his sword, he would have drawn it.
“You kidnapped her, and now you stand here and complain that you-“
“I took her with me upon Aegon’s command,” Aemond cut off.
“Do not transfer the blame, brother. I thought I was too incompetent to be king?” Aegon tested.
“You are, that is why I am to be king,” Jacaerys said.
“Oh, but who sits on the throne, little boy?” Aegon spat, “because it certainly is not some-“
“Do not presume to-“
“You could not handle a woman like this if you tried,” Aegon continued.
All three men huffed in a stalemate, angered as they exchanged glances, all unsure of how to retort.
“Are you lot done then?” you questioned, seated on the bed nonchalantly.
“So what?” Aegon threw his hands up, “you dragged us in here so that we can all bicker? Is Jacaerys truly so boring that you cannot be alone with him, even on your wedding night?”
“Aegon, if you do not shut-“
“Innocent little Jacey, do you even know how to bed a woman?” Aegon tested.
Aemond scoffed in laughter, a smirk painting his otherwise stoic features.
“I must know something, if she chose me in the end,” Jacaerys replied.
“She’ll get bored,” Aemond began, speaking calm and collected, “and she will seek a challenge. Neither of you can provide the level of wit or intellect that I have.”
You remained silent, enjoying the entertainment from the men arguing. You hoped you were right about where this would all lead, you just needed to exercise patience.
Aegon, as he usually did, chose to ignore his brother, and continue chastising Jacaerys. “Do you need help, nephew? I can teach you, if you need, as I know you most definitely do not know-“
“And you do? You do not respect women the way one must in order to-“
“One man forever will never be enough for her,” Aemond interjected.
Jacaerys knew Aemond only said it to get it under his skin, however, despite his better judgement and knowledge, it was working. Jacaerys felt the pang of doubt in the back of his mind that this woman, this free, sexual woman who had bed multiple men, would not be fulfilled by just him.
Aemond could see his words sinking in. Aemond, the most calculated and logical of them all, knew there would only be one way to get you. “Allow us to aid you, Jacaerys.”
Aegon looked at his brother. “Excuse me?”
Aemond turned toward you. He had thought many times what he remembered now: you were the only one on his level. With you, he met his match.
He allowed Aegon and Jacaerys to bicker like children while he studied your expressions. He could tell exactly what game you were playing. You were stuck between three Targaryens, and while you wed one, Aemond believed that it did not mean you intended to tether yourself. He felt as if he knew you too well for that.
“She is my wife now, Aemond,” Jacaerys warned.
“And I will ensure she feels as such.”
The energy in the room began to shift. Despite the years of hatred, argument, and war, you wanted them all, and the one thing they had in common is that they all wanted you. They all had to internally admit the violent truth that the only way to have you wholly would be to share you.
You stood and approached your husband. “I promise to save the sanctity of our marriage for you, and you alone.” You assured him that he would be the only one to risk pregnancy tonight.
You maintained eye contact with Jacaerys as you removed your clothing until you were fully naked.
Jacaerys, despite the dread of critique from his uncles, could not wait any longer. He captured your lips in a heated kiss, refusing to worry about the other men in the room and focus on what he wanted.
You stepped backward until you felt the bed behind your legs. You swiftly turned Jacaerys around, pushing his back toward the mattress until he was horizontal.
He shifted his weight backwards so that his legs were no longer dangling off the mattress, but he was horizontal across the midsection of the foam.
You straddled his waist, tangling your fingers through the curly black strands of his hair as you resumed your kiss.
You grinded against his clothed length, eliciting a slight whimper from Jace in the kiss. Your felt yourself wetten at from the noise; you had been waiting what felt like a millennium to finally have him.
“Okay, okay, I’m going,” you heard Aegon say as Aemond positioned him behind you.
Aegon gently brushed his fingertips across the skin of your lower back, signaling his presence so as not to startle you.
You leaned back down to kiss Jacaerys again, and his hands found their way to your waist. He instinctively thrust his hips upward, desperate for friction.
You felt Aegon’s fingertips leave your skin, and in their place, two large hands grasped your waist and yanked your body backward so that your waist no longer hovered over Jacaerys’s, and your knees nearly slipped off the mattress.
In this new position, your face was mere inches away from where Jacaerys wanted you most.
“Off,” you said, tugging at the waistband of his breeches. Jacaerys shyly removed them, his cheeks flush when his cock sprung free in front of everyone.
You gazed up at Jace through hooded lids, licking a stripe from the base of his cock to the tip, before sinking down onto as much of his length as you could.
Jacaerys threw his head back, a gasp escaping his lips at the sensation of your lips around him. His curls were splayed out on the mattress surrounding his head. He looked so handsome; the way his features contorted as he whined and moaned were reminiscent of a sculpture, an artist chipping away at beautiful marble and stone until the features were defined, each chip shifting the features, however they never lost beauty.
You began to bob your head up and down, and you admired the way Jacaerys’s stomach tightened with each stretch of his back or sharp inhalation.
You could hear when Jacaerys inadvertently let himself get lost in the pleasure, because his heavenly sounds were growing rapidly in volume and length.
One of his hands found the back of your head, and he did not apply pressure, but simple kept his hand there for the comfort that it meant you would not pull away.
You felt a tap on the inside of your left thigh. “Wider,” Aemond commanded.
You lifted off of Jacaerys’s cock with a pop, turning your head around to look at Aemond. “Or what?”
Aemond nearly growled, knowing you were too stubborn to not get your way. He swallowed his pride, and through gritted teeth, said, “please.”
You smirked at your success and widened your legs. It forced your backside higher, leaving you on display for Aemond and Aegon, who resided next to his brother in anticipation.
Your mouth resumed its attention toward Jace, and he let out a rather filthy moan of your name.
Aemond ran a slender finger through your folds, drawing more wetness from you. He knelt to the ground, still almost taller than you on his knees from his extravagant height.
His hands wrapped around your thighs as he delved into your cunt, his tongue dancing through your folds.
You remained attached to Jace, but that did not stop whimpers and moans. The vibrations around Jace’s cock send shivers up his spine.
“Can’t,” was all Jacaerys could say to signal that you had to cease your actions, or else he would come.
You pulled off of him and immediately let out a strangled moan. Aemond moved his tongue faster and faster monitoring your facial expressions the best he could from behind you.
You dropped your head onto Jacaerys’s thigh, one cheek pressed against his skin and the other toward the sky, allowing him to watch your face as Aemond ate you out.
Jacaerys could not help but stroke your hair, pushing the sweat-soaked strands out of your face as he watched your brows furrow and lips part in pleasure.
Your back arched and straightened slightly every few seconds as you moved against Aemond’s tongue. He was as skilled as you had expected. His nose hit against you every few movements he made, adding to your arousal.
His grip on your hips was becoming tighter and tighter. He felt a certain possessiveness take over as his brother, who typically got everything while Aemond got nothing, and Jacaerys, the one who actually got you, watched him pleasure you so good you nearly fell apart.
He licked and sucked at your cunt, his grasp on your legs definitively hard enough to bruise as your whines became higher and higher in pitch.
It was not until you began to grind yourself against his tongue that he stilled, allowing you to use his tongue for your own pleasure.
Your ever so slightly bounced your hips upward and downward against Aemond’s face, and the sight just about killed Aegon.
Jacaerys continued to stroke your hair as a reminder that he was there, and he was your husband.
Aemond pulled away without warning, leaving your core exposed and cold. He circled the bed until he was in front of you, but he was still fully clothed. He was playing a calculated game, and you caught on. Knowing Aemond, he would only take his turn when it was the least convenient for you.
You knee-crawled back to Jacaerys’s hips, looking down at his face as you searched for any signal that he was not ready for you.
You took Jacaerys’s cock in your hand, and after a few short strokes, you lined it up with your entrance, slowly sinking down until he was entirely inside of you.
You placed your hands on either side of his head, your back slightly arched as you searched for his reaction.
“Holy- oh my- fuck,” Jacaerys moaned. You had yet to move.
Aegon stood behind you, simply enjoying the sight of you as his cock throbbed with desire.
“Let me know when I can move, Jace,” you spoke softly.
“Oh my gods please move,” he nearly begged.
You appeased him but lifting your hips a small amount before dropping them back again, and Jacaerys lost all control. His body writhed beneath you, and you had to place a hand onto his cheek to draw him back to earth.
“Relax, Jacey.”
Jacaerys took a deep breath. “No.”
Jace wrapped a strong arm around your waist and pulled you into his body, causing your head to fall into the crook of his neck as your body pressed against his chest.
He began to thrust his hips upward, pumping in and out of you at a steady pace. The arm around your waist held you in place, allowing Jacaerys control as he used you.
“Shit- you feel b- better than I imagined,” he sighed out.
You moaned in response, unable to make much noise since one hand was against the back of your neck, holding you in place against him, and your voice fell straight into the mattress.
Despite his own selfish desires, Aegon allowed Jacaerys quality time to feel and connect with you. He could wait another few minutes if it meant he didn’t have to give you up.
Jacaerys pressed down on your lower back, pushing you back against his thrusts, causing his cock to hit even deeper within you. You arched your back and moaned in his ear at the sensation.
You whisper-whined so only he could hear, “doing so good, Jacey.”
The praise only egged him on more, and he began to thrust inside of you as quickly as he possibly could.
He tired quickly, resetting a steady pace.
Aegon took it as an opportunity to touch you again, this time by tapping his hardened cock against one of your ass cheeks.
“Jace, baby, wait a second,” you said.
“I don’t think I can- shit, can ever stop fucking you,” he moaned.
“One minute, my love, just still for one minute,” you pleaded, and Jacaerys forced himself to stop moving.
He gave Aegon a dirty look, so as to say ‘how dare you interrupt my fun.’
Aegon used his fingers to circle your folds for a moment, causing your core to clench around Jacaerys.
He used your wetness to lubricate his cock as best as he could before he lined it up with your backside.
You inhaled a sharp breath when his tip prodded past your ass. He stopped in fear that he had hurt you, and you noticed. “I’m okay,” you assured him, looking back at him.
“Just take it slow,” Jacaerys said, “if you hurt her, I swear to the sept-“
You leaned down and kissed Jacaerys to quiet him down as Aegon pushed further and further into you, slowly, almost excruciatingly so, until he was bottomed out inside of you.
Jacaerys was careful not to move until you had adjusted to Aegon as well.
When the burning sensation of pain subsided, you caught your breathing and told Aegon to be gentle and move.
Aegon did just that, fighting with every cell of his being to treat you kindly, when all he truly desired was to take you as he had in King’s Landing. He moved only halfway in and out, scared that any more intensity or movement would be too overstimulating.
Aegon set a slow rhythm, and Jacaerys gripped your hips to still them as he himself began to move.
You inhaled a sharp breath at the sudden stimulation. You had been in a room with two men before, but had never taken them at the same time.
“Are you alright?” Jacaerys half-whispered through shuddered breath, evidently struggling to speak and keep his composure.
You kissed him to ease his worries. He reciprocated instantly, and became greedy. He cherished that intimate moments like this could be his and his alone, despite what his two uncles may attempt.
You whined and whimpered as the two men fucked you in tandem. The pressure was enough to break you, but you refused to focus on anything apart from the intense pleasure of it all.
Just as it became pure ecstasy, you felt Aemond’s slender fingers stroke your hair. You lifted your gaze to meet his eye, then dropped your head slightly to see his hardened cock patiently waiting for your attention.
You began to shake your head. “No. Not unless the- fuck, shit, Aeg- take it easy- not unless, fuck! Eye patch. Off.”
Aemond stared down at your frame, gazing up at him expectantly, waiting for him to remove his eye patch while your body jolted forward and backward every few seconds or so.
Aegon’s presence was the reason Aemond was hesitant, and you knew it. Aegon had spend his entire life relentlessly teasing his brother for his handicap, but as Aemond looked to Aegon, he realized that Aegon did not even have the capacity to pay attention to his actions. Aegon was blissed out, a way Aemond had never seen when he had interrupted his brother with previous suitors and whores.
Aemond suddenly became violently aware that all three men currently occupying you were in the same boat; Jacaerys and Aegon were no strangers to Aemond’s feelings toward you. Though your relationship to Aemond was different, and his feelings were of different reason, they were present in all of them nonetheless.
Aemond almost felt bad for you, worried that the sheer amount of men surrounding you was much too overstimulating for you, but you hoisted your upper half upward, no longer laying on Jacaerys’s chest, but arms propped up on either side of his head as you looked to Aemond.
You reached up as far as you could, but could not stretch yourself high enough to capture Aemond’s eye patch in your hand. The new angle proved positive for Jacaerys, who threw his head back against the mattress and he rutted his hips even faster within you.
Aegon, ever competitive, felt the change in pace, and met it, fucking you faster and faster.
Jacaerys and Aegon entered a silent battle, each trying to fuck you faster and harder than the other, all the while still consumed in their own pleasure, and never looking at one another.
Your body subsequently collapsed onto Jacaerys. You allowed your body to adjust to the new brutal pacing, and when you looked back up to Aemond, his eye patch was gone.
“Beautiful,” you mouthed to Aemond, and you could have sworn you noticed a faint blush creep up to the apples of his cheeks.
Without breaking your eye contact, you opened your mouth and stick out your tongue, inviting Aemond to take the lead, as you couldn’t hold yourself up without falling straight back down onto your husband.
Aemond took his length in one hand and gripped your jaw in the other. His gaze was harsh as he pressed the head of his cock against your tongue. You closed your mouth around the muscle and he pushed in slowly, bottomed out, and immediately pulled out.
“You will not break me, Aemond, take me how you wish.”
Aemond did not need to be told twice.
He shoved his cock past your lips and began to fuck your mouth in a steady pace, not nearly close to the vigor Jacaerys and Aegon had, but steady nonetheless.
You moaned around Aemond’s cock as you squeezed around Jacaerys’s, and both men groaned in tandem.
“Fuck,” Jacaerys whined.
You could have waged that Jacaerys would be the first to come. He was the least experienced and the most pent up. You guessed that he would have come even earlier had he not pushed himself through a few near-orgasms to save himself from the teasing of his uncles.
Jacaerys grunted as he pistoned his hips against yours. He had no space to pull out of you to come, and he did not want to anyhow. His breathing quickened as the coil snapped in his lower abdomen.
Your head was still as Aemond fucked your mouth, and you squeaked around his cock when you felt Jacaerys’s seed paint your walls.
Jacaerys hit your hips with a few harsh thrusts, using you to milk his cock dry, and the thrusts pushed you further into Aemond’s cock. You fought back a gag as his tip brutally hit the back of your throat.
Clearly it was proper pleasure for Aemond, since he snaked one hand through the hair on the back of your head as he held you in place, and continued to hit the same sweet spot at the back of your throat.
“Aemond, fuck- can you, can you just come already? I’m dying here,” Aegon snapped through labored breaths.
Aemond, completely composed as if he wasn’t currently shoving his cock down your throat, spoke without stopping, “who said you had to wait for me, brother?”
Aegon groaned as his grip on your hips tightened. Jacaerys lay beneath you, still inside of you, simply enjoying the sight of you wrecked.
“I’m not going to finish before you, she finishes with me,” Aegon said.
Jacaerys placed his arms behind his head and watched in amusement as a small bulge appeared where your chin met your throat with every thrust from Aemond.
You forced yourself off of Aemond’s cock with a pop to say, “are you two seriously arguing right now?”
Aemond just shrugged. You turned back to look at Aegon, and his resolve broke. Seeing the look in your eyes as you gazed back to him, his cock in your ass, was enough for him to quickly unsheath his cock and release all over your back.
The moment Aegon pulled out of you, Aemond grabbed your arms and pulled you closer, which pulled you off of Jacaerys’s cock. He wanted you to kneel, but he did not want to hurt you by having you sit.
You remained bent over as you began to suck his cock again, this time bobbing your head and assisting in the work. Aemond threw his head back, and you admired the way his toned stomach flexed when his hips jutted forward.
You ran your tongue along the underside of his cock, swirling it around his tip as his thrusts continued. You looked up at him, teary-eyed and fucked out, and the sight was prettier than he could imagine.
“Don’t look up at me,” Aemond said, “or else I’m going to come down your throat.”
If your lips weren’t around him, you would have grinned. You didn’t break eye contact as you moved your head faster, and Aemond gripped your hair.
“I said don’t look up at me.”
You released from his cock, only momentarily, to say, “after all this time, you’d think you’d know that I don’t take orders from you.”
You went back to sucking and licking at his cock, staring into his eye as his cock twitched and swelled until he released into your mouth.
You remained in place until you were confident that he was completely finished. You pulled off of him and showed him your clean tongue.
He could not help it- he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your lips. “You’re my only equal, you know.”
“How sentimental,” you teased.
You rolled over and laid down on your back. The sheets felt soothing and comfortable beneath your aching, naked form.
“You alright?” Jacaerys checked in.
You simply smiled, looked to the ceiling, and began to uncontrollably giggle.
“Y/N?”
“Mhm?” you stopped laughing to hum.
“What now?” Aegon asked.
You shrugged and continued to smile as you caught your breath.
