Last night at family curry night, we were all telling my sister's fella about Kiss Me Kate, the basic plot of it, how it's one of our favourite musicals, and how we're planning to go see it before the run at the Barbican is over, really, this time we're going to book the tickets! We asked him if he'd like to join us, and he made an ambivalent noise, which is absolutely fair enough.

Just now the sister messaged to ask if I'd booked the tickets yet, because her fella would like to come as well.

We got 'im.

BREAKING NEWS: MARKER IS WRITING ANOTHER FUCKING MULTI-CHAPTER FIC FOR YOU ALL TO WAIT ON

Okay, I know I shouldn’t. In fact, the next time I get an idea like this I’m probably just gonna write a synopsis on Tumblr, tag all of my writer friends so it can gain some traction, and beg whoever will listen to write it.

But I’m the only person I know who is in both of these fandoms, and thus the only person I know who can write this.

So, it’s a crossover. It’s a Project: Eden’s Garden and Hazbin Hotel crossover, specifically. And I haven’t come up with a title yet, but the current working one is The Pact of the Peacock.

So basically, after Adam’s death, he reappears in some dark void or throne room or office or whatever, and God’s like “Hey, you fucked up good by starting those exterminations, but luckily you’re one of my favourite creations so I’m willing to give you a second chance. Go check out this weird fucking thing that’s happening in the mortal realm right now, and if you make the right decision as to what you should do about it, I’ll regenerate you.”

Meanwhile, in the mortal realm, Tozu and Mara (or rather, just Tozu) decided to summon a guardian angel to help with the Killing Game (which WOULD be a guardian demon but two killing game hosts like them would never do something so evil), and then next thing they know, oh shit, it’s Adam.

Tozu, obviously, goes crazy after finding out the angel he summoned is one of the people who came from the garden the academy was named after (probably asks for an autograph too) while Adam’s more intrigued by the scary panther woman who reminds him of Lute.

Then once he gets the rundown on things (“okay so kids today are all selfish assholes who are too talented for their own good so we’re making them duke it out Danganronpa-style as cosmic punishment for being dickheads”), he’s… actually surprisingly willing to go along with it, figuring it’s not too different to his Exterminations.

Though of course, once he actually sees what’s going on here, he’s confronted with a strange moral dilemma that breaks apart all that he believed about himself, Sinners, and his Exterminations, and wether he lives past the game or not depends entirely on wether he can bring himself to make the right decision: just like those trapped in the academy.

Meanwhile, Tozu and Mara have already clocked who Adam really is: an Ultimate. Not by name, but by nature. He’s vain, arrogant, insecure, afraid of being inferior. He thinks he’s owed the world simply because he exists. He thinks he deserved Eden’s Garden. And justly so, because ignorance often aspires to be seen as wisdom.

They won’t betray him: not yet. Not while he’s still oblivious to the true terror of their situation: and not while he’s still useful to them.

Hiiiiiiiii I know I'm months late but in one of those tag games you mentioned you were working on a strangler fic cover? Or thingy? Anyways just intensely fascinated in that project because I love strangler fig (it might be my second fav from fool in her wedding gown). Just curious, are you still working on that?

omgg you remembered!! i halfway gave up on that because June was super stressful and crazy and i had to write sheet music for another thing on an actual deadline, but things have calmed down a lot now so! Your ask reminded me that I should pick that back up! Actually I'm so excited to work on this bc those harmonies are so. afsggjghdh !!

(hopefully if i can convince enough ppl i can make a cover of it! right now i'm just transcribing sheet music, but i would absolutely LOVE to get enough of my musician friends together to do a cover of it)
