    dazed and confused , the room seems to spin , shapes and colors blurring into an intelligible mess. hand pressed to her head , marya struggles to find the face attached to the voice. spotting the blurry figure , apuzzled look passes over her features , which quickly morphs into one of horror and deep sorrow.    ❛   oksana , is that you?    ❜    tears spring to her eyes , overjoyed and terrified at the possibility that her dearest sister was once again returned to her. terrified , that the sight of such a familiar face meant she had passed on as well.

          oh. she holds her breath, her gaze dropping down to stare at her hands. this is — this is not good, not at all. hesitantly, sonya takes a step forward, lifting her gaze to marya, worriedly biting the inside of her cheek.  ❛ i’m — no, i’m not oksana. ❜ her voice is soft in an attempt to calm the older woman, and she wrings her hands nervously.  ❛ my name is sonya. do you remember me at all? ❜ she’s not exactly expecting her to ( sonya is often overlooked and forgotten by people with all their memories ), but she figured it necessary to ask regardless.
