Once news of the triad comes out, and people realize that Henry cheated on Thomas with Jane just as he cheated on Anne with her, there’s a strain of thought where people think that because Gregory Cromwell married Bess Seymour, he had some resentment against his father and married the affair partner’s sister as revenge.

actually I think the triad letters that are discovered by Maya Aburbeh (?) are in Gregory Cromwell’s possession? So maybe not, but there’s a Philippa Gregory-esque novel or two out there with that subplot

I had totally never thought of that my friend! (I know it’s a strong subplot that Gregory resents Henry but I could absolutely see like, either a homophobia plot line or a resentment for being ‘replaced’ plot line in an historical drama/fiction)*

*this is fundamentally in universe absolutely bullshit because there is ample documentation/letters/records of Gregory and his father being incredibly close all their lives and Gregory loving his half siblings (I think one thing I, Doylistically at least was always clear on was that the kids were the thing that everyone agreed on, even if they agreed on literally nothing else but in universe I could see some people turning Gregory into A Hater). Which is also funny because while he did worry about Unconventional New Family it was kind of directed at feeling like Henry and Anne maybe resented him (that’s a plot thread…)

(I only read the first Wolf Hall book and my memory is fuzzy but hmmm I wonder what Wolf Hall looks like in the OT3 verse)

okay i've been seeing more and more people, especially fic writers and fan artists, leaving social media because of the way they're being treated and it's becoming worrying.

fandom creators are not celebrities (not that you should treat celebrities horribly either but y'know what i mean.) most of the time they're teenagers or young adults just making some art in their room at 3am about a thing they like.

you have no right to make demands or offer unsolicited criticism. no right. it's the equivalent of banging on your neighbor's door to let them know you don't like how they've decorated their garden. it's their garden. you can look at it. you can like or dislike it. and then you move along. you're not allowed to demand that they change it.

and when people share things about their personal life online that is not an invitation for you to invade their privacy or converse with complete strangers like they're your childhood besties.

respect people's boundaries. ask for permission before offering your opinion. just be fucking nice to people please.

Evelyn's gaze is as sharp as a hawk's as she observes the suspicious man before her. But as sharp as it is, it's also equally as subtle - to the point where an ordinary person might not be able to tell she was studying them at all. Of course, Evelyn gets the impression that this man is far from ordinary...

"Don't you think that outfit you're wearing is taking things a little too far?" She greets him with a somewhat-sarcastic question - the bandages aren't exactly subtle. Still, there's a tension in the room that she's sure both parties are aware of... which is to be expected, when Evelyn still doesn't remember how she ended up in this manor at all.

Is he the culprit, or is he another victim? That's the first thing this "Faro Lady" needs to figure out.

At actual trial he's quick to find and investigate the generators and put his Marine make-do training to get them running— at least until the first screams ring out. If he can get the killer's attention on himself he will, putting himself in their path, trying to get them to drop whoever they've snatched up, taking them for a good run in the hopes that it keeps them from spotting anyone else. If someone gets hooked he tries to be the first on the scene to get them down and give them first aid if he can. Ideally, he tries to get everyone back through the gates and to the campfire again without leaving anyone behind, but luck isn't always on their side. Every loss just inspires him to take another slice out of the sadistic killers on the other side when the buzzer rings again. KILLER: When the whispers in the dark speak to him of a place where he can hunt his targets without interruption, without interference, without danger to himself. . . well it sounds to the formerly Catholic Punisher like the closest to Heaven that he'll ever get. It's a dream— so he thinks, so he lets himself sink into it. Suited up in his kevlar and skull, Frank isn't surprised that his best knife has made the trip with him. It's grip is well-worn and familiar, an extension of his arm that flips and lands in his hand with just the right weight to it. Within the confines of the trial gates Frank is a stalker-killer, he uses the shadows to his advantage, creeping up on the fiends desperately trying to fix generators and avoid his knife. Well worn boots make his steps near silent, and there's only a last second chill for a warning before his hands are reaching out to cover nose and mouth, muffling the sounds his victims make as he drags them into the shadows or the nearest shack to torment. Memento Mori: Escape his hook enough times to make him mad and when he catches you he'll make a brutal show of jamming his ka-bar in your kidneys before flipping you around face to face and following you down to the ground where he'll bury his knife in a dozen different places in quick succession until there's no hope of recovery. Not until the Entity brings you back for another round.
