For your consideration: some JatP Christmas fics
Summaries included below, check AO3 tags for more information
where the lovelight gleams by @bananakarenina
Julie Molina, one of the biggest popstars on the planet, is spending the month of December in New York City to promote her new Christmas album and a huge Christmas Eve concert at Madison Square Garden. Her team has hired her a personal driver for the whole month--Reggie Peters. Julie's struggling with losing her creativity and passion, while Reggie is struggling with just trying to make rent in the big city; he hasn't been really creative in years. Can the two of them find their way back to music before Christmas comes? What else will they find along the way? (Love. Obviously the answer is love.)

“Look, there's no way my parents are going to buy the fact that you’re my boyfriend.” Luke crosses his arms, brows furrowing, “What’s that supposed to mean?” in which luke goes home with alex for he holidays as a pretend boyfriend, and leaves with him as a real one.

“So, I bought a ring,” Luke says, casual in the way that usually Reggie would realize is nowhere near casual and much closer to freaking out, but he’s a little busy choking to death on his lunch.
not the last unknown by @bananakarenina
It's Christmas Eve, and the Molina family goes to church. This year they have a couple tagalongs.
Joy To The World by @wishfulstargazer
"Christmas in LA is free of snow, but not of spirit. In fact, between the lit up palm trees, the shop displays everywhere, Feliz Navidad playing on every radio station, and a host of Christmas music and decorations all over Los Feliz high school, Christmas is pretty much unavoidable. It all grates on her nerves. Christmas without Rose Molina is unthinkable. Almost as unthinkable as music without Rose Molina." Can a well meaning trio of ghost boys bring back Julie's Christmas spirit and help her reclaim her music?

Reggie gives Julie a gift, but she is not the only one to have some feelings about it.
Hallelujah, Everybody Say Cheese (Merry Christmas From The Family) by @a-tomb-with-a-view
Reggie sighs and turns in Luke’s arms to face him. Luke leans forward to kiss Reggie’s nose, his smile playful even if his eyes are huge and full of concern. God but Reggie loves him. “I’m not going home for Christmas,” he admits eventually. “I don’t know what I’m doing, but… but not that.” Luke frowns, and kisses Reggie’s forehead instead this time, having to lean up on tiptoes to do so. “Why don’t you come over to ours?”

“Woah, little dude,” Willie says as he lowers Carlos to his feet. “You gotta be careful up there. What were you even doing?” Carlos gives Willie a proud grin and thrusts something into their hands. “I’m hanging the missile toads!”
why do i care how much it may storm (i’ve got my love to keep me warm) by @tillstarscollided
There is something special about nighttime snowfall, how it’s quiet and almost eerie with only the lights from the porch to show it, but how that also means you can watch it collect and sparkle in a controlled section of light instead of being blinded by the sun reflecting off the entire landscape of white. There had been snow on the ground already, slowly melting, but this new batch was evening it out, covering up the mud and sludge with a new blank canvas that Reggie really wanted to just go and mess up with snowmen and snow angels, as the ones he had already made disappeared, but it was 1 am and he should be cuddling in bed with his partners, and he has bad impulse control but not that bad of impulse control. or: Reggie’s partners bring him to New York to see the snow, and he hasn’t stopped staring since.
a lonely boy on christmas by @nuandia
Alex doesn’t really think twice. He takes the tangerines and a wrapped sandwich and a bottle of water out of his shopping bag and offers them to him. The boy looks up, startled. His face guarded, his posture tense before he blinks at Alex and then relaxes. He smiles a tentative smile and slowly reaches for the offered groceries. But his eyes are sparkling, making the breath in Alex’s throat catch. Or, everybody's lonely on Christmas Eve. Or well, maybe not.
Of Hearts Borrowed And Blue by @daintyduck99
“Some vacation,” Julie mutters, shedding the duvet and reaching for the coffee maker. She still doesn’t know why everyone was so convinced that a change of scenery would do her good—it’s not like Julie can outrun Christmas. Caleb apparently also forgot to mention that everyone in this town is obsessed with the holiday, which isn’t all that different from the current atmosphere at Molina Family Photography. If anything, Julie’s even more of a grinch here that she would be back home, because she stuffed all of her grief into a battered suitcase, and she can’t just pull it out for every single stranger trying to get her into the Christmas spirit.

You Saved Me - Derek Halex fem!reader part 14
-------------
For the first time in a while, I woke up happy. Sure, the situation we were all in was no reason to be happy, but I would take waking up next to Derek over anything. In this moment anyway.
Derek hummed in his sleep, nuzzling his face into my neck. I smiled, turning my head a little to press a kiss to his cheek. He opened his eyes that seemed to sparkle when he smiled.
“Good morning.” He mumbled, pulling his arms away and sitting up. I turned on my back and pouted up at him.
“Someone doesn’t like cuddling in the morning?”
He got out of bed, getting dressed, “Any other day, yes. But I have something to do this morning.” He threw a shirt in my direction. I caught it, got out of bed and dressed myself.
“I’ll remember that.” I took off my clothes that I had worn throughout the night and pulled on Derek’s shirt. It was soft cotton and it smelled like him. It was a little big so it would have to be tied with a ponytail holder. I looked over, seeing my jacket hanging up on the back of his door, “Mind tossing me my jacket?” He grabbed it off the door and tossed it my way. As it flew through the air, an envelope fell on the floor. Derek stared at the envelope and picked it up, looking it over.
“Oh my god, I completely forgot about that.” I took the envelope from his hands. It had some water damage but the words were still readable on the outside.
“The Lunar Circle?” His jaw clenched.
“Yeah, do you know anything about this?” I asked, opening it up.
“Your parents were a part of it.”
“Really?” I grinned, opening up the very official looking letter.
To (Y/N) (Y/M/N) (Y/L/N),
We send our condolences in the matter of your parents passing, all of us here at the Lunar Circle cherished your family and we think of them fondly.
As two of our founding members, your parents were meant to travel to our facility to discuss relations between them and the clan of hunters in your area, the Argents. Since they have passed, this duty falls to you - the sole survivor of your clan.
We will have a messenger arrive soon to bring you to Shetland, in the northern Isles of Scotland. Please pack warm.
We look forward to meeting you,
Sincerely,
Praetor Lachlan McLeod
I read the letter aloud, Derek was becoming more and more stern.
“I mean, it seems like they want me to go whether I like it or not. But I think they would be able to take the rest of the spell away so I could remember.” I smiled and looked up. The smile dropped, “But you don’t seem as enthusiastic as I do.”
“Only werewolves who get invited can go. I can’t go with you.”
"I mean, they probably wouldn't care. You're my partner."
“That’s not the point.” He walked back to his dresser, grabbing his leather jacket that he had draped there.
“Then what is the point, Derek?” He didn’t answer, walking out the door and into the hallway.
“Hey, I’m talking to you.” I called, storming after him.
He stopped abruptly in the hall and turned around, “The point is that I can’t be there with you. I can’t stop any of those people from taking you away from me.”
“Are you insinuating that I would cheat on you?” I glared.
“No.” His face softened, “But they could use the spell against you. A condition that they could have would be to break our bond so you can get your memories back.” He held my face in his hands, making me look up into his eyes, “I want you to remember, but I want to be there for it.”
“You said I’m stubborn. Maybe I could convince whoever is going to show up that I need you to come with me.” I smiled, “I’m gonna go home and look through some of the stuff from my house.”
“I’ll call you after I get done here.” He kissed my nose.
“And what are you doing?”
“Erica’s getting Jackson so we can test if he’s the kanima.” He started walking again.
“Uh and what if he is?” I asked nervously, “Listen, I am all for killing him on a good day but you can’t kill him. There has to be a cure.”
“And if there isn’t?”
Rubbing my temples, I thought for a moment. Pros: - No more kanima...No more Jackson... Con: Prison for Derek. Regardless of morals, the kanima was dangerous to everyone.
“Make it look like an accident.”
As I made my way out of the depot, Erica was walking in, dragging Jackson by his bicep.
“Erica.” I nodded, smiling brightly.
“(Y/N).” She smiled back. It seemed like after the kanima attack there was a silent understanding between the two of us.
“Wait!” Jackson called, trying to get out of her grasp, “Wait! (Y/N)!” There was a sick part of me that was going to think about his calling to me for help later and smile.
-
It was late morning when I got home. Stiles had given me hell through text but that was just how he showed his love. The next thing was to stop staring at the cardboard boxes that held the remaining pieces of my life that had been stashed in my closet. Out of sight, out of mind since I really wanted to distance myself from the memory of my parents death and all of the fact that my parents had unfairly taken memories of my life away. I understand that they did it to protect our family, but at the end of the day... that didn’t seem to make much of a difference.
Time to bite the bullet. I kneeled down in front of the closet and pulled out the box labeled: (Y/L/N) Evidence #24. I looked over my shoulder to make sure the door was closed, then grew a claw on my pointer finger to cut the tape on the box. Was that lazy? Of course, but I think anyone in my position would. I took a deep breath and opened the box. I wish that I was hit with a wave of nostalgia, the smells of home, but all I could smell was smoke.
I squeezed my eyes shut, gripping the sides of the box, “Come on, don’t cry.” I sniffled, trying to keep the tears at bay. Blowing out air, I opened my eyes again. Inside the box were photo albums. I took out the one I recognized most, it was a dark teal color with our last name in gold cursive font. I traced the letters fondly. Opening it up, I saw pictures with my parents from when they bought this house, bringing me home from the hospital, pictures of my parents and Stiles’ hanging out. They all looked so happy, they were laughing and having fun. I lightly touched Aunt Claudia’s smiling face. It was still hard to believe that she was gone, but she was sick... She couldn’t live like that any longer. I flipped through the book, watching Stiles and I grow up. Birthdays, slumber parties. Slowly Scott popped up in the pictures until we became a trio. But Stiles and I were always together. Which made me wonder how much of my life was missing if he was the only friend I could remember.
The rest of the box was documents that had been found in the safe in the basement. It was a miracle that had found the safe since it had been hidden in the wall. Deeds, marriage license, birth certificates, social security. In the next box, there were some of my baby things. But this box has become more interesting. Family heirlooms that I had only seen once when they were being cleaned. At the bottom of the box was a wooden box that I definitely didn’t remember.
“Jack pot.” I smiled and lifted it out of the box. It was a dark stained wooden box with intricate vines and flowers decorating the borders. There was a stamp burned into the top. My last initial in a full moon, stars randomly placed around it.
I opened the clasp, lifting the lid open carefully. There was a glass bottle, sealed with teal wax. The neck of the bottle was wrapped in twine with a bronze charm, on the charm was a wolf. It was filled with dried herbs and what looked to be a lock of hair, my hair. I set the bottle aside, wanting to bring it to Deaton to figure out what was inside. But I was fairly certain this was the spell jar that took my memories away. The next thing inside that I pulled out was a scroll, sealed with the same teal wax and this time the crest was more visible, it was the same crest as on the box.
I carefully removed the wax from the paper to not break the seal, unrolling the papers. The larger of the two was a family tree, more family that I could even imagine that I had, going back ten generations. But the tree got smaller and smaller until I was the last branch. I am the last member of my family. That made me feel more alone than before.
The next paper was more recent looking and it was addressed to me.
𝘛𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳, (𝘠/𝘕).
𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘰, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘶𝘱, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩.

I wiped my eyes with my sleeve, making sure my tears didn’t smug the ink on the page. They acknowledged that they did wrong and they were planning on reversing the spell. And seeing my mother’s handwriting again? The best.
In the bottom of the wooden box was a white package that had been faded yellow. The package was labeled with the name of the local pharmacy where you could also get photos developed. I took out the thick stack of photos and gasped. Christmas morning when I was twelve, I was looking up into the camera but my face was hidden by the glare coming from my eyes. Another picture had me with a wrist brace on, a thumbs up and a smile. Then the next pictures lifted my spirits. It was pictures of Derek and I. From the time we were toddlers until six years ago. Smiling, laughing. Some where he was in his basketball uniform, others when I was in my lacrosse gear. It seemed like Derek was just as much a part of my life as Stiles was. There were pictures of me with Laura Hale, we were on the floor cross legged while she sat behind me, braiding my hair. There was another where I was holding a little toddler on my lap, who I could only assume was Cora. There were even baby pictures of me with this woman I couldn’t recognize...but something told me that it was Derek’s mother Talia. Wait, Talia Hale. I never knew that name before. I was starting to remember. But it wasn’t enough. I needed to remember more.
But these pictures were important to what I needed. I slipped them back into the package and grabbed the vial, putting them in my bag.
I started walking down the stairs, feeling happier than this morning, but it all went away when Stiles’ text message. The first was a picture of Lydia at the front of Finstock’s class with someone help me written on the board from an hour ago. The next was a message that had come over that minute.
Stiles:
Isaac and Erica are testing Lydia to see if she’s the kanima... And I think she failed.
I got downstairs and was stopped by Uncle Noah in the kitchen, his arms were crossed over his chest. I was definitely in trouble.
“Hi, Uncle Noah-”
“Where have you been?” Straight to the point.
“Busy. With work and stuff.” My lying was not getting better. I tried to walk past him but he called my name.
“(Y/N)” I stopped, slowly turning around, “I know you’re an adult, but I promised your mom and dad that if anything happened to them that I would protect you. I mean, you’re gone all day and all night. I get vague text messages after hours.”
“I’ve just been busy with work, that’s all. Believe it or not, Coach puts in long hours-”
“Now, why am I having trouble believing you?” He looked up at the ceiling as if the answer was written there.
Probably because I’m lying, I’m actually a werewolf, one of many in this town and we’re fighting a teenage mutant murder lizard that may or may not be Lydia, you know Lydia, the girl Stiles was in love with?
“I don’t know. Maybe because you’ve been working long hours on four murder cases and overworking your brain.”
“Is this about that Lunar Circle thing you got in the mail? What is that thing anyway?”
I sighed, “It’s nothing.”
“It’s not nothing. If it were nothing, you would say that it’s junk.”
I sighed, “It’s a group my parents were a part of and they want me to go there.”
“To Scotland? No way.” He shook his head.
“What? You can’t tell me what I can and can’t do. I’m an adult.”
“You are apart of an open murder investigation where the murderer is still at large. I can’t in good conscience let you leave the state, let alone the country.”
“That’s not your decision to make.” I glared, “I am a legal adult, I am not a suspect, I can leave whenever I want.”
“Not true. As a part of the agreement with your parents, if they were to be killed, I am to be your guardian for six months, no matter how old you are.”
I pulled at my hair in frustration, “That’s ridiculous!”
“Call it what it may, but that’s what your parents wanted.”
“Screw what they wanted!” I snapped, “They took everything from me!”
“And what is that supposed to mean?” He barked back. I sighed in frustration, grabbing my keys off the counter and storming towards the door.
“Hey! We’re not done talking!” I kept going, “(Y/F/N) (Y/M/N) (Y/L/N), you get back here!”
I opened the door and looked back, “YOU’RE NOT MY DAD! STOP ACTING LIKE IT!” I slammed the door shut and hurriedly got into my car. I gripped the steering wheel hard, the plastic cracking against my palms. I shouted into the wheel, breathing hard to make sure I didn’t turn in the car. After a few minutes and a lot of breathing, the anger turned to guilt. Uncle Noah was just trying to make sure I was safe and what I said wasn’t fair. He treated me like his own and I should appreciate that more. I’m just relieved I didn’t see the look on his face when I shouted at him, I’m sure I would never be able to get his face out of my head.
My cell phone ringing brought me out of my thoughts, I pressed answer and held the phone to my ear.
“What do you want?” I snapped.
“(Y/N)?”
“Jackson?” My eyebrows scrunched together in confusion.
“Duh.” He said in his usual douchey way. Just my luck, the last person I wanted to talk to was calling me.
“What do you want, trust fund?” I put the phone on speaker and started driving.
“Look, we need your help. We need you to distract Derek.”
“No problem.” I hung up the phone, driving the short drive it took to get to the depot.
-
I leaned against the doorway leading into the depot, grabbing Derek’s jacket as he walked out.
“Where ya goin’, Der?” He looked back at me, backing up.
“I was on my way to see you.”
I smiled, “How coinvent. I just got into a huge fight with my Uncle which I’m sure you felt and I found pictures of us together that I wanted to show you.” I held up the package of photos.
We had gone back inside the depot, sitting on his mattress. Derek turned the bottle in his hands to get a look at all the herbs inside, “I can see monkshood, mistletoe, salt. Not sure what the rest is.” He handed the bottle back to me. I filled his empty hand with the package of pictures. He took out the stack. He stared at the pictures for a long time, almost like he was memorizing them.
“I lost all my copies of these photos in the fire.” He smiled as he looked through them, “Did you remember anything?”
“Just one thing.” I handed him the photo and his mother holding me, “I remembered her name, Talia.” He stared at the photo, his face changing.
“She’s so young here.” He whispered. I rested my head on his shoulder, looking at the photo. She was smiling at me in an exaggerated way, her dark hair tucked behind her ear. She was so beautiful. Derek looked over at me, then out the window. He set the photos down slowly and stood up. Shit.
“You were sent here to distract me, weren’t you?” He stared down accusingly. He felt betrayed, a feeling I didn’t like giving him.
“I came here to show you the pictures.” I stood up to face him.
“That may have been what you wanted to do originally, but on your way here they told you to distract me so I couldn’t kill that monster.” He gritted his teeth, moving towards the door at a determined pace. I caught up to him and grabbed his arm.
“Derek, it’s not Lydia!”
“How do you know that?” He spun around, his gaze was menacing, but he didn’t scare me anymore, “She failed the test, the kanima venom didn’t affect her. It has to be her.” He slammed the door of the depot open, walking out into the night with me hot on his heels.
“And what if it’s something else? You told Scott to trust his instincts and I trust mine, it’s not Lydia.”
“I’m doing this to keep you safe, keep them all safe. Isn’t that what you want?” There was a growl in his voice. I stopped following him, opting to get into my car and speed to Scott’s house.
-
I pounded on the front door when I got there, praying that they hadn’t completely padlocked the door yet. Stiles opened the door and pulled me inside, slamming the door shut behind me.
“I thought you were distracting Derek.” He whispered.
“I was. He saw through it.” I whispered back. Stiles looked out the window, a grim look on his face. I looked out the opposite window and saw Derek standing outside, with Boyd, Erica and Isaac behind him. I looked back and saw Allison standing in the hall.
“You need to tell Scott to get here right now.” I looked back on the window, reaching over and touching Stiles’ shoulder.
“It’s me. You need to get here right now.”
-
Allison was staring down at her phone, her other hand occupied with a small crossbow.
“What are you doing?” Stiles asked.
“I think...” She paused, “I think I have to call my dad.”
“Are you nuts?” I asked. I mean, what could the pack outside do without drawing the attention of the police, not much. Derek wouldn’t go that far... Or at least I hoped he wouldn’t.
“But if he finds you here, you and Scott-”
“I know.” She cut Stiles off, clearly frustrated, “But what are we supposed to do? They’re not here to scare us, they’re here to kill Lydia.” She said the last part a little quieter. Jackson and Lydia were upstairs doing... whatever it is exs did. I wouldn’t know, my ex was dead haha.... I wish there was therapy for people like me. Were there werewolf therapists?
After staring at the pack for a while, Stiles spoke up.
“I have an idea. Shoot one of ‘em.” Allison and I looked at him.
“Are you serious?” She asked.
“Stiles, if they get in, I’ll handle it.” I said, not really believing myself.
“You can’t take a whole pack by yourself. That’s literally impossible. I think.” He said, “We told Scott we could protect ourselves, so let's do it! Or at least give it a shot, right?”
“Okay.” She sighed.
“No, not okay, have you ever heard about how you’re not supposed to poke the sleeping bear. Shooting one of them would be like-like whacking a sleeping bear with a baseball bat.” I said, very not okay with the plan.
"They don't think we're gonna fight, one of them gets hit, guarantee you they'll take off. So just shoot one of them." Stiles said. In theory, yes. In practice, probably not.
She peeked out the window, "Which one?"
"Ummm...Derek. Yeah, shoot him. Preferably in the head."
“Stiles, are you trying to kill me?” I shoved him, having to pull my arm so I didn’t use my full strength. He yelped, holding his arm.
"If Scott's able to catch an arrow, Derek definitely can." Allison said, looking out the window.
"Okay, um, just shoot one of the other three then."
"You mean two." Stiles and I stared at her like she had three heads.
"I mean three." Stiles said. We smushed our cheeks together to look out the window at the same time. Isaac was missing.
“...Where the Hell is Isaac?" Stiles asked, looking around. Isaac had left his position besides Derek, probably when we were trying to figure out a plan.
“I’m gonna go protect Lydia.” I backed away from the door and ran upstairs, I got into the room right as I heard the crashing downstairs. Isaac had gotten in.
“Why are you here?” Lydia said, she breathing was quick and she was on the verge of a panic attack.
“Me?” I looked around, “Where the hell is Jackson?” I saw Scott’s open window. That slim ball ran at the first sign of danger. I grabbed her hand, pulling her into the bathroom. I closed the door quickly and locked it.
“What’s going on?” She whispered, tears falling down her face.
“Someone’s breaking in.” I lied, “Just stay quiet.” I put a finger to my lips. I could hear growling and shouting, a body being slamming into the door hard. I pressed my body against the door, hoping my body could keep it there.
“Hi-hi- I need the police.” I looked down, seeing Lydia on the phone with the cops. I groaned under my breath, blocking out her phone call to try and listen to what was going on outside.
“Stiles! It’s here!” I heard Allison shout. My eyes widened. The kanima. It was here, it wasn’t Lydia. I backed away from the door and started to unlock it.
“What are you doing?!” She shouted. I held out my hand.
“I’m gonna keep you safe. You have to trust me.” She stared at my hand, “Look, Stiles trusts me. And I know somewhere inside of your cold exterior you know Stiles would never let you get hurt. So if you don’t trust me, trust Stiles.” She stared a moment longer before taking my hand and pulling herself up.
“You will not mention this to him.” She huffed.
“Wouldn’t dream of it.” I opened the door, leading Lydia through the house and out the front door. And when we got outside, I stared at all of them in confusion.
Isaac and Erica were both on the ground, Derek, Boyd, Scott, Allison, and Stiles were staring at the roof as police sirens were getting closer.
“Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on?!” Lydia shouted.
"It's Jackson." Scott whispered. I stepped off the porch and looked at the roof, the kanima was on the roof, slithering just out of sight.

Chatting with Austin’s Shitbag
~Doomed & Stoned Interviews~
By Shawn Gibson
In his never ending quest to find the filthiest bands from around the world, Shawn Gibson brings us face-to-face, virtually speaking, with frontman Keith Young from Austin, Texas trio SHITBAG. The band dishes out a harsh blend of crust, grindcore, hardcore, and sludge, a sound you may already be acquanted with if you've heard their new EP Burden on Transylvanian Recordings. (Editor)
SHITBAG - BURDEN by SHITBAG
So why are you a Shitbag? What's the name all about?
I guess when I came up with the name, the thought was that Shitbag was a person I didn't want to be and I lived in fear of becoming. It's a catchy two syllable band name. (laughs)
Oh very catchy!
Half of it's just taking the piss right?
Oh yeah.
People think it's great or they think it's really fucking stupid.
I love the name Shitbag. It grabs your attention. It is so fitting for your style of music, the sludge-grind duo.
Definitely. The idea was to get a very dirty sound from the start. The name stuck with me. You can tell from some of our earlier releases to hone the sound but you can see that it's falling into place. I think we were zeroing in on the sound on the album we put out last year.
Which was 'Furnace,' right?
Correct.
Your latest release 'Burden' is out now.
Yes, that's now through Transylvanian Records.
Awesome, they are a good label! I have definitely heard of them and have some of their artists' music. So is 'Burden' your third release?
I guess it's our fourth, if you count the first EP. We don't really push that one out anymore.
Furnace by Shitbag
'Furnace' is a really good album! I think I bought all your digital albums on Bandcamp.
Oh, thank you.
I definitely fell in love with the sound! "Emasculator" is a great sludge song from the record Can you tell me a little about that one?
It is about castration. The riff was a fun thing I kind of threw out there. I told Eli our drummer this is in 4/4 and he said" it is absolutely not, I can try to play along to it anyways." As usual, he did. the different pieces kind of fell into place. The bass guitar always stuck out to me on that one. The speed of the song and the mix we got on those recordings allows the bass to shine through I think. Also, I think that might be one of my favorite vocal performances off of Furnace as well.
Who all is in the band and what roles do they have?
So I play guitar and vocals. Eli Deitz plays drums and Eric Prescott plays bass.
I would say 'Burden' sounds heavier than 'Furnace.' Can you tell me about your guitars and the set up you use for writing and recording?
Oh, sure!
What are you using to get that Shitbag sound?
So first off I think it's worth noting that we recorded Burden at a different location and we had more power at our fingertips. The guitars definitely did get beefed up. For the first two releases I had been playing a Randall RH 150 with a Randall 150 amp head. It gets this really nasty distortion right out of the box, you don't need a distortion pedal, which is pretty convenient. It wasn't reliable at high volumes. That was becoming a problem more and more playing alongside Eric, as he was playing an "O-R something" Orange head and also running that through an HM2 and some fuzz stuff in front of it, as well. He gets a very loud, snarling bass tone.
He's covering the low end, but there's an intersection where the guitars and bass compete when we are playing live. So I needed something that I could crank up just to keep up. The Randall wasn't cutting it. May of last year I purchased a Sunn Coliseum 880. That was great but I needed to beef up my cabinet setup. Before I had been playing out of a Laney 4x12 with two different Celestion speakers and an old Marshall 2x15. The Celestion speakers are just not cut out for running something like a Coliseum880. At 4 ohms I think it's already at 230 watts.
Oh, wow!
That is when I moved up to a Worshipper 4x12. It's an Intown establishment, and some good friends of mine run it. They got me a new cabinet in 8 to 12 weeks. Kinda crazy to think about from what I heard from Dillon at Worshipper they had good business during the pandemic.
That is great! I love to hear that everyone's keeping up the practicing at home.
Yeah, It definitely has a silver lining. I got a 4x 12 and I'm trying to remember what speakers are in it. My technical knowledge of that stuff is a little limited, I'll be honest. I went with Dillon's recommendation. I told him what I was using currently, this is what I want out of it. I already have a 2x15 cabinet so I don't need a whole shit ton of low end power coming out of the 4x12. He kind of went with something that had the right profile and could handle 320 watts. After that was the matter of finding a distortion pedal, because Sunn Coliseums don't really have a built in distortion the way a Randall does. For a while I was a really great distortion pedal that does all kinds of great stuff the Earthquaker device's grey channel.
It has six different clipping presets, clipping diodes, and you can do just about everything from straight up gain to kind of a fuzzy effect to full-on Moss clipping diode, which does the whole balls to the wall heavy metal thing. Great diversity on that pedal but it wasn't quite hitting the right spots. I went to a Boss HM2 and was very reluctant to do so because I know everyone does those. I ran that with a Graph equalizer like I would any distortion pedal. I made it not sound like I'm playing in tuned riffs. That's my equipment set up and how it evolved from Furnace to Burden.
Awesome, thank you. Something that attracted me to Shitbag's music is the sludge is the jelly and the grind is the peanut butter that makes this great Shitbag sandwich. There are moments in your music that it is as thick as swamp mud, then the next it's firing out like bullets out of an AR-15!
Hell, yeah!
Cordycep by Shitbag
With that being said you have a song like "New Day" that's grind as fuck, clocking in at a minute long, just blasting through! Then you have songs like "Rogue Furnace" that's right up the sludge/doom alley clocking in at 15-minutes, 20-seconds. Shitbag has a really great balance between different styles in your music.
Well, thank you!
What bands influenced Shitbag's music?
Yeah, so I think the time I was getting into sludge and doom in my college days and I came across Primitive Man.
Oh, yeah!
I grew up listening to death metal and shit like that.
Me too!
The way they threw that together with just oppressive doom sound. It was something I had never heard before. I instantly heard that and said"this is the future." I don't want to shit on anything but Black Sabbath has been around 50 years and that sound has been around 50 years.
Newer and current bands are still using that sound, yeah.
Maybe I shouldn't disparage it, right? Even the stuff I'm drawing influence from is 30 years old now. Maybe I shouldn't say it that way. I think it's a matter of pervasiveness rather than how old something is. There are a lot of bands in the sludge/doom canon that are like, "Black Sabbath, hell yeah!"
You can find lots of music that was coming out of the death and grindcore scene in the '80s, '90s, and 2000s that had very slow, lurching oppressive moods. To me, it's not so much a matter of the notes that are being played or the rhythms, it's the atmosphere. So yes Primitive Man, God Flesh, they are a big one. I'm a big fan of Assuck, Dystopia, and Grief. Then a lot of older death metal shit, too. Napalm Death, Eric and Eli loved Entombed. Full Of Hell is tight as shit, too!
Yes they are! By chance have you heard of Clinging To The Trees Of A Forest Fire?
Oh yeah, yeah.
I thought you might, being they were before Primitive Man. Great shit, as well!
Every band of theirs that the members of Primitive Man have been in that I have checked out, I have been very much into.
Vermin Womb, Many Blessings...
John put out an album with a death metal band called Black Curse last year that I thought was fucking phenominal!
I'll have to check that out! I like just about everything across the board, personally.
You are mentioning that we're striking this blend, we are not even playing the same genre through the whole EP. It's kind of like there's moments where it's one thing then there's moments where it's another. I think the more important thing is that it sounds like a cohesive thing. I hope we manage to do that.
You do! Shitbag has it's own sound that is unique to you guys!
Well, thank you!
I stumbled upon Shitbag's music on Bandcamp on Fathers Day. I saw the song title "Fathers and Sons" off of Burden and thought, "That's no coincidence -- I need to check this band out!" I was wondering if you can tell me a little about that track?
The song is about grappling with father and son relationships that are, I don't want to say estranged but you know trying at times. That was something that was a really big deal for me over the past year and a half, cause my mother passed away at the end of 2019.
I am sorry to hear that!
Thank you. When you have a death in the family like that, there is a lot of time for reflection that comes about. That's where the concept came about. I would not say that it's entirely autobiographical, there is definitely some exaggeration in there. We had the music for the song written and we couldn't figure what to write the lyrics about. I was just spitballing ideas and concepts to Eli. That was the one he said, "Yeah, I'm not really a fan of this draught but this is the concept to go with. Keep going with this."
Historically, I think I have been a weak lyricist. I would not call myself good by any means. We definitely made that part of the writing more collaborative process. Like the music has always been with us. We ironed out the words with each other so it felt a lot better. We came out with something more polished.
I understand completely.
A little graciousness opens yourself up. I think it's true with lyrics, as well. You probably don't have people say that to you very often, I imagine. I think it's especially true with lyrics when you're trying to make something that's personal and vulnerable. Having someone say, "Hey I would word that differently!" YOU MOTHERFUCKER!
Exactly. (laughs)
Take a step back from the initial knee-jerk response and just let it sit. You can really go places with that. I think lyrics are different just because people are not accustomed to making themselves vulnerable in that way.
What bands from Austin and surrounding areas that are heavy and you love to see them play or play with?
Let's see... Zyclops, really fucking great! There's bands like Glassing, Inhalants, Portrayal Of Guilt.
Yep, familiar with them.
There's a band called Godshell, they are new. I saw them play at a house show in North Austin in a living room full of people younger than myself. A crowd that was young enough to make me feel old. They played an outstanding fucking show! Those guys are rad live! There's also Metal Abortion, who is a pretty fun noise core band that Shitbag has played with a couple times. They put on a hell of a show and they have some crazy fucking records, too!
We have had the pleasure of playing many great shows with Desist on account of Shitbag and Desist being the two "Austin sludge" bands. Lucas is an outstanding vocalist and an even better human being. I don't know if Desist has been active through the pandemic but word is they have shit in the works. Another band forming a major constellation in the Austin shit-verse is the crusty blackened thrash outfit Vacha. Every show we've played with them was a fucking barn buner. I have nothing but love for all those dudes! Special shout out to Carlos for his God-like endurance behind the kit.
What makes Shitbag laugh? What's funny to you guys?
Oh, man. Eli and I have decided that a good way to get around when I bring a riff and don't know the time signature, is that we count everything in one. There 's no more time signature. That's a fairly recent joke. There are times at practice instead of playing a Shitbag riff with the distortion and everything balls out, I will go to the clean channel and push on the wah pedal and play with a funky staccato thing.
Hell yeah!
I think everyone else finds it annoying.
I have always enjoyed when the one guy in the band during practice either gets funky or jazzy, one of the two.
There is also something that Eli does that is fucking histarical. He never warns me he's going to do it. We will be in the middle of a song in the intense parts of the song he slips in the ba-dum tiss like a joke was told. When he nails it it's really a special thing.
Well, Keith that is all I have for you. Thank you again for your time!
Thank you very much, Shawn! The cassettes are available through Transylvania Recordings and Bandcamp. They are up for pre-order. I am not sure when those pre-orders will be in. There are some delays.
Several bands and labels having a tough time with vinyl getting pressed and shipping, too.
If you order the cassette you will get it eventually. I hope there is new music to announce in the near future.
We hope so, too!

HanniHolidays #25
okay, finally I have some time. shitload of fanfics ahead. sorry for the late posting, truly. it’s a prequel to #18 mistletoe, no pairings this time (but a litle hint on a rarepair)
Holiday Party
It wouldn’t be Christmas if neither of the Quantico base employees organised a party.
Everyone could safely tell who gladly took up on the job in one guess – Beverly Katz and her lab team.
She decided it was taking place in her house, as it was almost as large as Hannibal’s place and he would never host such event on his own accord. He was more the type for the fancy dinner parties, on which he served gourmet specialties and vintage wine. No one could imagine seeing the psychiatrist wearing an ugly jumper, singing along to awful Christmas songs, and drinking lots of cheap cocktails, nor did they want to try to.
However, she has assigned him the task of bringing the food. It was too famous and delicious to omit. They couldn’t have called it a party without a specially designed holiday version of his hors-d’oeuvres.
Jack was the one to arrange alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (for Abigail and one of Bev’s pregnant colleagues). Brian and Jimmy helped with decorating the flat with tinsels, festoons, balloons, and hundreds of other ornaments that she did not set out while embellishing the Christmas tree.
They hung mistletoe on the living room chandelier. It played a part in their elaborate plan of how to get Will Graham and Dr Lecter to kiss and snog and finally go at it, for God’s sake.
When the first guests arrived, Bev, the ten-year-old child in a body of an adult woman that she was, forced them to put on a pointy paper hat made of cardboard and wrapping paper one would definitely call childish, and some of the unfortunate persons even had to take a selfie with her and the boys, which required attempts to appear excited, which could only happen after a shot of something strong.
She led them to the sofa, and told them to have fun, even though there was nothing to do quite as yet, have they not wanted to turn on the TV in order to kill the horrendous songs coming from the CD player. Right now, it was Last Christmas.
Fortunately for the holiday spirit, Jack and Bella were the next ones to come, carrying a whole bag of bottles of God-knows-what. Alana Bloom arrived a minute after the couple, bringing two bottles of wine as well. As a gift for the host, she said.
“Thank you, Alana, go put them on the table,” replied Beverly, and pointed on the large, glass dining table Jack was just decorating with his drinks.
He has brought vodka, Jack Daniels, other spirits of unrecognisable brands similar to it, even the deplored sweet liqueurs for the ladies (Bella’s doing), and two 2l bottles of coke. Beverly noted she had beer, too. To be honest, it looked like they were all going to end up with a strong headache and a ban on drinking from the boss till the end of the year.
But. Where. On. Earth. Was. Hannibal. With the food? she thought. It was high time to commence the celebrations, and she was in fact starving!
Bev went to the living room to at least pour herself a glass, when the doorbell rang. She turned round, ready to go open the door, when Alana called, “I’ve got it!” and walked there herself. Coming to a halt, Beverly bumped into Brian who held a full glass of coke mixed with whisky (at least she thought so, because who would drink coke when there was alcohol) by accident, and almost caused him to spill the drink. It was by a hair’s length.
However, the spot they stood on happened to be right under the mistletoe bundle, as she saw when she checked why he has rolled his eyes up to look at the ceiling with an intense gaze sensing he knew in them. Awkward.
Jimmy walked to the kitchen, and when he passed them, he grinned, and whispered, “Looks like you have to kiss now.”
They could all hear Will Graham apologise for the late arrival apparently caused by inconvenient traffic in the distance and Abigail exchange few words with Alana. Hannibal was there as well, his unmistakable accent outstanding among all the people. Good.
Even better, the trio have arrived together like a proper family everyone saw them as.
The song switched to Jingle Bells, which was probably worse than the previous one.
Brian looked flushed at the thought of kissing one of his best friends – because he actually liked her for years but never told her –, but Beverly took initiative, and said, “Come here, you big man.”
She closed the distance between them, and gave Brian a friendly, smacking kiss with a loud mwah! She laughed, and so did he, but there was something else in his eyes. They moved on.
Bev rushed to the front door downstairs. Since she still hasn’t forgotten good manners, “Good evening, Dr Lecter, Will, Abigail!” And since she couldn’t wait for the finger foods, “I hope you’ve brought lots of snacks.”
Hannibal gave her a stern look but shook her hand and answered in affirmative. “Indeed I have, Ms Katz, don’t you worry.”
With a half-smile, he uncovered one of three platters he and his little ‘family’ brought with them as a small demonstration. It was filled with small truly mouth-watering hors-d’oeuvres made of prosciutto and mature cheese and nuts and vegetables and even fruits.
She offered to take the tray from him and carry it to the living room. “You’re a god, Dr Lecter. You deserve the best bottle of wine we have and the right to pick music we play for an entire hour; and even that would be insufficient thanks.”
“Then you’re lucky we’ve also taken few CDs,” Will responded by pulling three or four of his bag and waving them in the air. It was all the good old classic, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd.
“Hey, that’s not fair!” said Jimmy emerging from somewhere behind them.
To whom it wasn’t fair, exactly?
“If you could cook as Hannibal, you could have control over the music too,” Bev riposted as she walked away, towards the table. She noticed some of the spirits bottles were already started on.
The doorbell rang for the last time as the last latecomers arrived. By the time, the speakers already blasted the first song of the Nevermind album, and they have opened and drunk more beverages.
“Put your Secret Santa presents under the tree to the others,” Bev told the group of agents upon sighting they have entered the room. Now, when everyone was present, the party could finally begin in the true sense of word – they could start eating and drinking properly and dancing and unwrapping their presents and realising their mistletoe plan.
That involved isolating Will and Hannibal from the crowd and getting them both under the plant sans their notice. Uh. Easy.
“Hey, Will, Dr Lecter,” she called so loud everyone would become aware she has initiated their plan, “I need to have a word with you!”

#Abandoned #Pools #anastasiabeverlyhills #beach #cream #fashiondiaries #makeuplover #musicproducer #outfit #sexygirls #style #swag
Abandoned Pools may well be the ideal way to describe Tommy Walter’s escape from a seemingly idyllic upbringing in the affluent L.A. community of Westlake Village. He might have “ruined his life,” to paraphrase one of his song titles, but Walter has most definitely spurned a predestined future of the perfect family, a manicured backyard, a two-car garage and the pacifying comforts of the TV in the living room for something far much less certain.
On his Extasy Records International debut, Humanistic, Walter takes matters into his own hands, casting a knowing eye on society’s hypocrisies and deceits with a musical palette that combines some of his own unique influences. His first musical obsession was the “Star Wars” soundtrack (his publishing company is Boba Fettish Music). He also had a childhood fascination with Prince, and later on, an admiration for ’80s U.K. new wave bands, indie-guitar rock and cutting-edge, sample-based electronic music.
“I requireed the listener not to know what’s coming next,” he says. “So that just when you think it’s going in one direction, it goes in another.”
Produced by the Boston-based team of Paul Q. Kolderie and Sean Slade (the duo behind both Hole’s Live Through This and Radiohead’s Pablo Honey), and mixed by Chris Lord -Alge (Green Day, Replacements), Humanistic is Walter’s first work since leaving the influential band eels, with whom he listinged the acclaimed Beautiful Freak, the first record ever released by DreamWorks. The new album, coincidentally, the first for impressive start-up Extasy Records International, incorporates both the sturm und grind of the first single, “Mercy Kiss,” which revisits adolescent humiliation with the hindsight of experience and the feverish rush of the Psychedelic Furs’ “Love My Way,” and the wall of sound surrounding “The Remedy, ” a song which tweaks his former band’s alternative radio hit with its playful refrain, “I could use a shot/ your Novocain.”
There’s also a kinder, gentler side to Walter, as shown on the acoustic guitar and single piano notes of “Never,” from the very first demo he recorded, with the original straightforward tracks and vocal remaining intact. “My producers told me I wasn’t naĂŻve enough to sing it that way anymuch more,” he laughs. The multi-talented musician co-developed the album and played the majority of instruments. Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, The Vandals) played drums while an assortment of instruments bits including bass clarinet, piano, clavinet and guitar were added by both Slade and Kolderie.
Walter uses the industrial metal blasts of “Monster” and “Seed” to cast a jaundiced eye on the world of rock stardom, while the sweetly nostalgic “Suburban Muse” and the sprightly, tongue-in-cheek “Sunny Day” perfectly express Walter’s ambivalence about his upbringing. The sampled drum loops of “Start Over” and the soulful, Prince-like falsetto vocals in “Ruin Your Life” (courtesy of Walter and Frente’s Angie Hart, who sings back-up on three other tracks) are the silver linings to what he views as the dark cloud of conforming to others’ expectations. It is something Walter has tried to avoid his whole life.
He grew up the son of a former World War II bomber pilot for the Canadian Air Force (who was 50 years of age when Tommy was born) and a mother who was a stewardess 20 years his father’s junior. The sinister “Blood” describes his ambivalent feelings about growing up inside this “happy” family: “I see the happy family tree/It sways so easily/We’re smiling all the time/This world just isn’t mine.”
Tommy learned to play electric bass in grade school, and then was classically trained on the French horn (shades of the Who’s John Entwhistle) soon after high school. He majored in the instrument at USC before switching to composition after learning the hard way the role of departmental politics. You can hear him play French horn on “Ruin Your Life” as well as eels’ “Beautiful Freak.”
While at Southern Cal, he played “Tusk” one too many times on the mellophone as a member of the university’s famed marching band. After graduation, he enrolled at University of Pacific in Stockton, CA, where he studied and taught a class in musical theory-hence his eels nickname “The Professor.” While there, he specialized in early 20th century, 12-tone and modal composers like Schoenberg, Bartok and Stravinsky, traces of which can be heard in the “discordant, non-tonal” musique concrete of tracks like “Blood,” “The Remedy” and the “I Am The Walrus”-taste pastiche of “Fluorescein.”
Disillusioned with academia, Walter tried to find like-minded collaborators in the local L.A. pop-rock community.
“At this point, I’d played in more symphonic orchestras than garage bands,” he admitted, developing a melodic style of bass-playing and back-up singing in one local group, Mrs. God. At an open mic night at L.A. club The Mint, he met singer/songwriter E, who was impressed enough to invite Walter, along with drummer Butch Norton, to join the original trio which would eventually form eels. The group briefly attracted the interest of DreamWorks Records.
And while the group quickly attracted the interest of fans and critical praise, Walter’s goals were not your usual rock dreams.
“I’m not the type of musician who started out playing guitar just to get laid,” he says ruefully, though he was exposed to all manner of abusive behavior (“including my own”) as a member of the group, touring around the world to fantastic acclaim. As he complains in “Sunny Day”: “All this talk of rock stars really makes me sick.”
He left the band after one album, citing as a reason his desire, once again, not to lock himself into an inevitable future. “Everyone’s a genius/Brushing up on irony,” he sings in “Monster,” putting down the prevailing attitude of the cooler-than-thou music snob circles he ultimately fled from.
“At first, it was a band,” he says, “but when the ink dried, it was a different story. But that’s just my naivet? It was a good lesson. I learned to trust my own instincts. I thought the three of us were great live and worked well together. We had some fun times. But once you get a fancy tour bus and the crowds get bigger, everything goes to hell.”
Wood-shedding in his South Pasadena apartment, Walter set out to “reinvent himself,” writing and recording on his home eight-track system with a goal. “I tried to balance two things-what made me happy as a songwriter and what could speak to fans,” he says. “It’s a good challenge. I want people to hear my music.”
Transferring the songs from eight-track to Pro Tools, he took the demos up to Boston’s Q Division studio, where he finished up the album with Kolderie and Slade.
“The songs are about what it’s like to be human,” he says. “Everything doesn’t have to be so bottom-line, profit-based, black and white. You can do things for the right reasons.”
The final track of the album, “Fluorescein,” revisits Walter’s relationship with his father, who died last year. If you listen carefully, after the final note, his father can be heard describing matter-of-factly how he jumped out of a plane moments before it blew up as a 21-year-old fighter pilot. It is a chilling conclusion, symbolizing his son’s own tendency to shift gears just before the proverbial shit hits the fan. “It was hard for me to express who I was or what I was all about.” he says before admitting he’s finally coming to terms with the relationship.
As for his own ambitions, Walter insists: “I wouldn’t say I don’t want to be a rock star. I just want to make records that mean something to people, that have an impact on them Of course, I say now I won’t get caught up in the trappings, but I know I will.”
He laughs. After all, Tommy Walter, the man behind Abandoned Pools, is only human.

Data is the collection of memories and beliefs in your mind, your databank of your views of life. The thing is, some of your data is keeping you separate from The Divine. So, you need a way to clean it.
Well, how do you clean it???
Let me start with an age-old question: If a tree falls in a forest and nobody is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
Answer: I don’t know.
What I do know, is that if it does make a sound, I would wish that it sounded as incredible as the music that I’m presenting here to you now.
There is a sample video on this page that you can listen to, but to truly experience its greatness and encounter the majestic excellence, you need to listen to it in its entirety.
The more you listen, the deeper your cleaning experience will be. Our data is constantly changing, and because of this we must continually clean in faith that we are doing our part as a connection to the “I”, to the ONE SOURCE.
There are millions of songs and endless albums in our collections but only some of them stand out. You know the ones I’m talking about. I’m guessing that something jumped into your mind right now.
Let me tell you why…
Because sound is energy.
It’s a frequency that sometimes resonates with us and other times doesn’t. What I’m sharing with you here right now is an energy that defies the laws of conscious reality.
You’re probably asking yourself, Mathew what does that mean?
What I mean is this music is not created by me necessarily, but channeled from a greater source, a higher power, the Divine.
Guidance comes to us in our lives continually. Often, we dismiss it and move on, but the Divine keeps sending the same message back with great patience again, again, and again.
As you read this maybe you’re excited for the possibilities awaiting you, or maybe you may have doubts.
The Divine has helped you find this music but can’t force you on to a better path. You are the captain of your own ship. You must take action.
Right now that action is to snap up this uplifting tool that’s staring you in the face. You need this!
It was meant for you.
Hi I’m Guitar Monk Mathew Dixon,
I have had the great fortune of learning ho’oponopono from great teachers like Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, Dr. Joe Vitale, and Mabel Katz.
For over a decade I have been creating music, books, certification programs, and meditations that have helped thousands understand and practice ho’oponopono.
Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len recommended to me long ago to begin to infuse my music and meditations with the ho’oponopono mantra recorded subliminally (below conscious awareness) with the music.
After seeing the results that people were experiencing from this technique Dr. Joe Vitale and I began creating a large collection of instrumental albums specifically designed for cleaning.
Now with the help of some musically gifted friends, I’ve composed for the first time music with not only the subliminal mantra (please forgive me, I’m sorry, thank you, I love you,) but also with lyrics written to target specific data, and clean it in a nonconfrontational way.
This music has a peaceful relaxing yet enthusiastic vibration you will feel resonating in your heart chakra.
Ho’oponopono Roots can be listened to anywhere, at home in private, in social settings, or at work, only you will be aware of its ability to pinpoint and clean data/memory.
The specific data that will be purified and cleaned to align you to the Zero Point:
Lack of Abundance
Anxiety
Mental Illness
Physical Illness
Broken relationships, family and friends
Financial hardship
Addiction
Employment challenges
Global threats
Soulmate dis-connection
Disharmony with business partners
Discord with Family members
Threats to pets’ well-being and behavior
Grief
Past life trauma
Ancestral trauma
Dear Guitar Monk, I just finished listening to your masterpiece, and my heart chakra is so open and glowing. I’m a yogini and yoga teacher, and this music was like doing a hundred sun salutations! Thank you. You have profoundly touched me! Namaste, Leah Byrd
Dear Mathew, thank you so much for the ever so beautiful Zero Limits recording. Ever so beautiful! I am deeply enjoying it.

Mathew, your song is incredible. Took a while to look you up and find your CD, Changes. I will order it after I send this to you. So glad I found you. You definitely found that place where magic lives.
God bless you and yours and God bless Texas!
Thank you, Mathew, for your music. Just wonderful!!! I met Dr. Hew Len in Paris last year and since then ho’oponopono is a part of my life. Unfortunately, Dr. Len doesn’t travel anymore. We miss him, but on the other hand he is present.

Hi Mathew, just wanted to let you know that I love your song Zero Limits! From the first time I listened to it I felt a definite vibrational shift. It’s become one of the tracks I play constantly now – I play it when starting my day, while writing in my journal, while working, and even when drifting off to sleep. I find that it helps me concentrate when that’s what I need yet helps me relax when that’s what I need. I have added it to my ‘vibration lifting’ playlist. Thank you very much for this awesome gift!

Hello Mathew
I really love this song,
When I was little my father put me to sleep with his singing and his Spanish guitar almost every night.
I just separated from my boyfriend of 4 years 5 days ago, and it has hit like crazy, but I have a pain in my heart. He hardly ever said Good Morning or even answered me, for almost all the time we were together. I had lots of arguments about it at the beginning, which later became more like educating a little boy, but it still hurts?
So, this is my way of healing it. Plase excuse the translation from Spanish. Thank you.
Blessing to you
Keep it up the great songs!!
Buenos Dias Senor.
Hi, wanted to take a minute to thank you for the Zero Limits music. I absolutely love it! I put it on my ipod and play it over and over and over.
Thanks again, Terri
Thank you very much! I love the music a lot!!!
In LOVE and GRATITUDE,
Andrea
I am a widower living in an apartment building and find it necessary to have a “clean-up” lady come twice a week to straighten up my mess.
Generally, she finds me working away on my computer, and she asks if I can make it play some music. She knows that the computer is hooked up to some really great Bose speakers, and that I have, on occasion, played some really nice selections. I generally say that I have some favorites lying around on a Flash Drive, but I don’t know where they are.
But the other day, I downloaded Mathew’s fantastic new track; which I’ve now listened to several dozen times — always with a soaring mood. Today, when the cleaning lady showed up, I quietly started it playing with no comment, and set it for “continuous play.”
My visitor whirled around. “What’s that?” she asked. “I LOVE that sound!” Well, I knew I was going to have an extra clean apartment today, and I got it! After a very long clean-up time, my visitor had to leave, even though she obviously didn’t want to — but it was only after I promised to save the gorgeous music for her next visit.
A final note to Mathew — I don’t know how many times, when driving South from Dallas to visit my family, I’ve driven by New Braunfels, with no idea of how much talent resides there.

Take a moment to watch this short cleaning video and hear samples of the ho’oponopono roots music.
All 12 songs are performed as a trio – vocals, two acoustic guitars, and light percussion.
Listen to how the guitars intertwine creating a harmonious resonance. The vocals paint pictures that should be interpreted by you, bringing forth specific data that lies within you… to clean.
Sit back and listen, and enjoy the moment…

The most important thing to me is that you experience this cleaning miracle. THE SECOND most important thing to me is that you are completely satisfied and have zero risk for trying this amazing new way of cleaning with ho’oponopono roots.
That’s why… I am offering you a 60-Day no questions asked money back guarantee!
Even though my digital distributor will charge me a penalty for every return I am so confident that you are going to love and experience the incredible results from this new one-of-a-kind music, that I am willing to risk being charged if you are not satisfied for any reason.
All I ask is that you approach this music with an open mind and heart, give it a real chance and find out how beneficial it is.
If for any reason you don’t find that this music resonates with your heart and your soul, I will gladly refund you.
That is my guarantee to you.
Corporations often start with a high price and lower it after the first initial customers purchase their product.
I pride myself on being a one-man shop. I do everything from creating this webpage to taking out the trash at the end of the day 🙂
Because of that I have a lot of freedoms, so I’m using the reverse approach.
I don’t think you should be punished with a high price because you’re the first to know about this program. Instead I’m going to reward you with a low introductory price for 30 days of only $11.95.
That is less than 1 dollar per cleaning track.
After 30 days I will start to raise the price to help cover expenses and overhead, so I urge you to act now!
The price will be going up and I WANT YOU… to be one of the first people to enjoy this new cleaning music.
It’s easy, and almost instantaneous.
Click on the order now button below, fill in your information and you will receive an email that will give you a link to the download page.
On this page you will find instructions for your download of all 12 tracks.
You will also find my personal email address on the download page. If you have any difficulty at all, simply email me directly and I will walk you through the download even if that means sending you a personal link to my Dropbox account.
Usually downloads are very simple, but we’ve all used the Internet and sometimes things don’t work as smoothly as we hope. I’m here to do everything possible to make sure that you will be listening to your new cleaning music instantly.
My good friend Dr. Joe Vitale wrote a song called “Everybody’s Goin Thru Somethin. “ This is absolutely true! We have no idea what each of us is experiencing at any given time, and every one of us is going through something.
That is why cleaning is so important. Give yourself the opportunity to heal and clean on the data that is confronting you.
The purpose of this cleaning is to dig deep into the “root”of your data and purify it back to a state of Zero.
Only you have the power to make this happen.
Only you can make the choice to listen.
Only you can make the difference for you…
Peace, love and music, Guitar Monk Mathew Dixon

The peace of I

Hi Mathew, just wanted to let you know that I love your song Zero Limits! From the first time I listened to it I felt a definite vibrational shift. It’s become one of the tracks I play constantly now – I play it when starting my day, while writing in my journal, while working, and even when drifting off to sleep. I find that it helps me concentrate when that’s what I need yet helps me relax when that’s what I need. I have added it to my ‘vibration lifting’ playlist. Thank you very much for this awesome gift!
Your friend,
Lisa

Sit back and listen, and enjoy the moment…
youtube
