Now, there's a massive lack of good entertainment in this place. You could only watch so many movies or participate in so many yoga sessions. Relaxing as they both are, they eventually become monotonous.

It didn't help that her shrink only allowed a minimal amount of stimulation— Miss Yates is highly reactive and sensitive to overstimulation, so her sanctioned activities must be heavily monitored— Viola could just scream.

Thankfully, someone decided to bring some culture to the ward. Those who were allowed a little more freedom were herded down to the main room, all excitedly waiting for the singer who volunteered their services.

And how good was she!? Viola can't help how her whole body swayed and bounced in her seat at the music— they had music here but nothing live. It's not Madison Square Garden.

There's a standing ovation, Viola even whistling (one of the orderlies had to remind her that she had to be calm and courteous to her fellow peers) before everyone goes back to their routines— routines were really important. Everyone's got their schedule to follow.

"You're, like, really, really good." Viola comments, having all her art supplies splayed on one of the worktables, beaming up at Reggie. "I can't sing. I sound like a llama with its throat cut." She hums and nods, confident in her description. "I'm an artist though," Her arm outstretches towards the various paintings and drawings she was working on all at one time.

"Abstract. Real deep stuff." To the naked eye, it looked like swirls and gestural lines on a page, sinewy, fleshy in nature despite the vibrant colors. Whatever it was, it seemed to be on Viola's mind because all the paintings were in that same style.

"Y'know, it's really nice that you did this, mhmm." She murmurs, tongue hanging out the side of her mouth as she puzzles over what color to use next— red. A fresh oil pastel is picked up and she gets going, vigorously scribbling. "People don't wanna be around us. Think we're bad or whatever. People don't come to sing to us...so thank you."

It's quiet for a few more seconds before Viola abruptly stops in her artistic expression to gingerly slide over a painting, all pink and yellow and peach. "For you. Hold on to it 'cause one day I'll be really famous and it'll be worth, like, a million dollars."

sorry, sorry, sorry, the tv show jeeves & wooster ends in bertie getting engaged to two women by accident (he asked neither) being forced into a wedding day due to manners, jeeves then rescues him via a "does anyone know why these two should not marry" themes scene in the church. also included wistfully looking out the window on the day of the wedding waiting for jeeves to return with the evidence needed to cancel the wedding and bertie having a look of absolute joy as he's standing by the alter and jeeves enters the church door to decalres he doesnt have to go ahead with the wedding. hello???????????????

Regulus knew he had a reputation.

He didn’t do “relationships”. He preferred casual. No attachments. 

This all changed when he started with James Potter though. 

Suddenly he found himself caring about the other man and wanting more than just a fling.

The look in James’ eyes had enough to make Regulus’ heart and knees go weak.

Regulus found himself even getting jealous when he spotted James chatting with other blokes. 

Finally, one day when Regulus had had enough, he grabbed James by his shirt and pulled him into a closet.

James had started to lean in but Regulus shook his head adamantly. 

“I want you,” Regulus demanded, “all to myself. I hate sharing.”

“So we’re dating now? What happened to ‘casual’?” James smirked down at him.

Regulus put a finger on James’ chest. “I told you, I hate sharing.”

James chuckled as he leaned over and locked the closet door.

James loved Regulus so much. Loved every part of him. But the part James loved the most was his eyes.

He loved the stormy grey depths and the just barely-there hints of blue mixed in. 

He loved Regulus’ thick, dark eyelashes that framed his eyes perfectly.

James adored the way Regulus’ eyes glowed after any time James said “I love you”. 

He especially loved the intensity in  Regulus’ gaze when they were tangled up in each other. 

But above it all, there was nothing in the world that could match the pure joy and love in those stormy eyes when James had knelt down on one knee.
