the Simon baby-trapping fic is finally finished but where Price was the fluffy, 80s sitcom (but one filled with gone girl-esque mutual manip, morally ambiguous shenanigans), Simon is what happens when you try to tame a rabid dog.

his idea of want in this is like a child trapping a firefly inside a pretty glass jar filled with shredded grass, leaves, broken sticks, dirt, and crushed flowers. everything is perfect; cosy. comfortable—

but he forgot to poke holes in the lid.

nostalgia is a fucking PLAGUE in the doll community because tell me why so many people are just dead set on arguing that the signature outfits for monster high g1 are better. I had/have all these dolls in the peak of my childhood, I loved them sooo much, and I can still admit that 99% of them were just dressed in hideoussss peak 2010s fashion - which is not their fault, it's just that up until like 2014/2015 everybody was wearing the most horrible things you could think of and we all thought it was the cutest thing ever. Those outfits are really fun character design for the time, there's a reason they were so popular - and a great representation of 2010s fashion! But it's all so butt ugly like literally everything everybody was wearing back then - the fashion just sucked and that's okay. G3 signature fashions (and honestly everything else down to face sculpts and bodies) are all such a major improvement and it's insane that people can't see it just because it's not the monster high they're used to. It's time to put the nostalgia colored glasses DOWN

#but also i'm specifically saying signature outfits because later they got better at making outfits that aren't absolutely insane #i really love later clawdeen and draculaura outfits and designs but the signature ones were crazyyyy tacky and it's okay to admit that #the same is true for barbie fashion btw #90% of 2010s fashionistas were awfulllll because they were trying to copy what the it girls at the time were wearing and like i said #the early 2010s was just a time of hideous fashion trends overall #it's okay that we all found it cute back then but let's be for real here #barbie extras are just better because they literally have a better essence and design structure #monster high #monster high g3

I PASSED FINAL!!! AND MY CLASSSSSS WITH A 75.... BUT THATS STILL PASSING

Are my dreams of going to medical school after this shattered because I need like a 3.8 gpa to even apply? Yes.

BUT!!!

Do I have to pay 2k to retake this class and meet with the program director to beg to not be removed from the program? No!!! YIPPIEEEEE!!!!

Granted this is kinda my fault for going to this school because they have an awful reputation for being the hardest school in the country for my specific thing... why did I think doing pre med there was a good idea? Idk. But whateverrrr! A win is a win.
