simon is just quietly watching you from across the room, his gaze intense as you act indifferent, pretending the whole arrangement means nothing to you. maybe you roll your eyes when he insists on carrying your bags, or you shrug when he calls you "mrs. riley," even though you secretly feel a thrill each time he says it.

"i can carry my own bag, you know," you snap, yanking it from his grip. but he just stares back at you, a faint smirk tugging at his lips as if he's daring you to try and keep pushing him away.

the first night, you insist on taking the couch, crossing your arms and making it clear. “it’s better for both of us,” you say stubbornly. he doesn’t argue, but his look says he’s already decided how this arrangement will end, even if you can’t see it yet. every little display of disinterest only fuels him more, makes him even more set on making this temporary arrangement feel like something permanent.

when you pull away slightly in public, refusing to let him hold your hand, he just raises an eyebrow. “we’re married, love. act like it,” he mutters, grabbing your hand firmly, not giving you a chance to argue. you scoff, pulling away a little too quickly. “this isn’t real, simon. don’t take it too seriously.”

but he knows you’re testing him, and he’s more than willing to play along.

as days turn into weeks, he becomes almost relentless in his own quiet, possessive way. he lingers close whenever anyone else is around, slipping an arm around your waist, brushing a hand against your back, whispering a soft “mine” in your ear whenever he notices your resolve weakening, just to remind you. every time you scoff or roll your eyes, he fights back a smirk because he can see through your act.

“you don’t have to act so... territorial,” you say one day, crossing your arms as he pulls you a little closer than usual. he shrugs, unbothered, as if you hadn’t even spoken. “just keeping my wife close. got a problem with that?”

one night, when he catches you glancing at your ring a little too long, his patience snaps. he steps in close, cornering you with that piercing gaze of his. “why do you keep fighting it?” he murmurs, voice low, making your heart race. "we’re in this, whether you like it or not."

you open your mouth to argue, but before you can respond, he’s already leaning in, his lips brushing against yours, stealing the breath from your lungs. and as you melt into him, letting the walls you put up crumble, you realize he’s not giving you a choice—and maybe, just maybe, you’re done pretending you don’t want this too.

-ragatha said "I miss my horses"- I have no idea if this was just her talking nonsense but I still noticed it..!!!

-gangle getting hit by a truck might be a metaphor I think cuz it means "experiencing a sudden, overwhelming, and forceful impact" which can show how her emotions change?? I'm not really sure yet but I really like the metaphor theory thing lol

-jax immediately dropping his smile when he walked out might mean that he's just masking it

Anon, I too have all of the same questions, like so many of them, and I'm trying my best to answer them as we go along! Reader is definitely a little sassy and she absolutely knows what she wants, but I don't think that means she's playing Joel, or playing with his feelings - but you'll just have to stay tuned to find out what I mean in more depth 😏

as for idle, i rec'd them cuz like skz, they're also a self produced grp (SOYEONN (also minnie and yuqi)), and as far far as i know, self producing ggs are rare. So there are 5 members (originally 6 cuz of Soojin, who left due to a bullying scandal (sadly)), Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua

they are one of the most experimental and bold 4th gen grps tbh

The eldest is MIYEON, who is from the korean line, she is the vocalist of the grp. she was originally going to debut with blackpinkk (hopefully didnt), she is the "main dancer" and also known as the visual of the grp, she's verrrrry goofy and silly probs one of the most likeable kpop idols. her concept is udually: elegant

next is MINNIE, who is Thai, also the vocalist. her concept is usually: dreamy. she is known for being a great whistler.. she is also one of the songwriter and producer line (eg: lucid). she also does the most aegyo lol

then comes SOYEON (also korean), leader, main rapper, centre, main producer, main lyricist (with amazzzing vocals and she's also a great dancer). She's the one who comes up with the concepts with all the details and designs (costume, hair, nail, etc), (we stan a genius), also she pays great attention to all the details and writes her songs keeping in mind the skills of the members. She also won the songwriter of the year award. her concept is usually: charismatic

the second youngest is YUQI who's chinese, her concept: cute. shes the main dancerr, sub vocalist, sub rapper, face of the grp. DEEEEP voice, plays the guzheng, a part of the songwriter-producer line(eg: doll). if chaos was a person. also she's loud af

the maknae: SHUHUA who is from Taiwan, her concept: chic. she's the subvocalist and visual. she's the savage one, you come after her or any of the members, she comes after u, "lawyer of the grp" has 2 dogs: Haku and Mata.

(i left out Soojin cuz i left like if u could research that one our own u would get it better)

songs i'd rec: nxde, tomboy, uh-oh, lion, oh my god, allergy, super lady, revenge, hwaa, hann, vision ( for starters)

all in all, them with skz are my fav kpop grps of alllll time
