Oh dear.  

I casual ship a LOT, so I don’t think I have like 5 ships where I invest a lot of thought (if not actual work like writing), but ok, top of mind, sorta.  As for kinks, lol ok, I will TRY. (I’m very boring. But you already know this.)

- Dean/Cas : Ok, one (1) FAVE, nobody else will make me go batshit insane like these two. Kink for this ship, hmm, SEVERAL, like, y’know TALKING ABOUT THEIR FEELINGS (imagine!!!), NOT DYING (wow, a girl can dream!)....but ok, fine, seriously,  probably anything that has TrueForm!Cas and a very mortal Dean, not necessarily a sexual situation, but lbr, terrified AND horny is very much fun times.

Ning Yi/ Xin Zi Yan  (The Rise of Phoenixes) : This is my die-on-a-lonely-hill ship since I am literally the only person who has written any fic for it IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE maybe,  and like spent 2 years doing it, and like 5 other people have read it?  This one leans heavily into my two ruthless murder puppies who are so bad for each other they might be good kink, and also ENDLESS IDIOTIC PINING and flirting with fans kink. 

Jo Yeong/Kang Sin-jae: Well, you know. :D I will take any and every kink for them, but most especially cuddling under quilts and being SOFT. 

-Batman/Superman: Rain, I’m SORRY, but I’m quite looking forward to the Snyder cut ok, and um, yes, I did have a Batfleck phase, it was MORTIFYING, but also GREAT. Anyways, I have literally never read a batman or superman comic, but I very much enjoy the Snyder-verse version of these two, and there were some amazing writers in the BvS ‘verse fandom who basically did all the hard work of rescuing the frankly terrible movies. Kink? Alien Sunshine Boy charms Broody McBrooder into Letting Himself Be Loved is a kink all by itself, but I also l love things like Clark taking Bruce on dates that only he can, like in this amazing fic! Yeah basically, leaning into the other-wordliness of Cas Superman and what that means for Bruce Wayne/Batman is my faaave.

Draco/Hermione : GASP. Yes. But only in very specific ways, which is post school, post war, when they’re both above 35 thing, and it’s sigh, yes, it’s very much the let’s Redeem the Terrible White Boy via Love thing but I think you can make it work in interesting ways and not uh, whitewashing his actions and choices. I may have written a few fics THAT WILL NEVER BE POSTED. 

Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)

I think the biggest are probably Star Wars and MCU. I have definitely read more MCU fics than Star Wars (zero), but I’m reasonably familiar with the Goings On thanks to tumblr.

ISEUL is a god with a god complex? he wants everyone to worship him at all times ... his power is also Dangerous,,, based off of killgrave from jessica jones,,, but for the most part he's benevolent and kind. he wants to be good, he doesn't always find it easy, but he really is trying <3

JAVI has been through so much, after a very traumatic childhood he put his parents in prison and ended up in witness protection to avoid their friends finding him. despite all of that darkness in their past they are very loving and bright, they love art and want to be a fashion designer

CHARLIE is another muse with a tragic backstory!! they have some really rough family stuff that basically gave them awful trust issues and means they keep everyone at an arms length. they're hot and rich though, kind of mean? not really super mean but takes absolutely zero shit from anyone.

EUNJAE is my fucking BABY. they are in an alice in borderland type of verse but they manage to keep things funny and entertaining, she has a lighthearted spirit however she's VERY vengeful. her little brother was killed before her eyes and now she's on a fucking rampage to destroy everyone responsible for his death. i love them...

VISHVA i have a lot of feelings about him... he loves PEOPLE he's a helper and a carer to his core, he loves to make sure everyone feels heard and keep the team together. the only thing he loves more than the team is their fearless leader although in their life or death situation they're in right now... how can he afford the time for love? so he keeps it to himself...

ZACK idek how zack became one of my fave muses ever he's just so much fun to play because he's so cocky and unserious that it makes me giggle. such a himbo demon. i love him

CORVINA (VIN) they are my faaave god i have so many emotions about them... they have just been surrounded by death and monsters and nightmares and darkness their whole life, always the weird emo kid on the outskirts that nobody wants to let eat lunch with them because she creeps them out. underneath it all she is such a sweetie, a real genuine sunshine person who wouldn't hurt anyone or anything despite the darkness of their parental god.

HANEUL is such a problem but i love him, all he wants is to be absolutely adored. he wants to be on stage and feel all eyes on him, sure, but he wants more than anything to be good enough to be someone's special person. he had a lonely childhood and has never been loved or held enough so he often ends up feeling like he's not good enough to be cared for.

PittCon Saturday

Part One: 

No Rob Benedict. Rich makes promises of him later.

ROB BENEDICT!!! He walked out with Briana and she claims she planned the whole thing.

Briana, Kim, and Gil didn’t have anyone lined up for questions. Briana threatened period talk. Gil blushed. 

Questions for Briana today instead of Kim. Briana does a little victory thing every time someone says, “My question is for Bri.” Kim mocks her from yesterday and says, “I’m gonna answer it anyway.”

Gil is third-wheelin’ it, hard. 

Gil addresses the whole thing that happened with the butt grabbing. He wanted to “nip it in the bud because it was weighing very heavily” on him. Apparently I missed that last night because I had no idea what he was even talking about when he said it. He’s a great guy. Try not to fault him for one little slip, yeah? He’s human. Cut the man some slack. 

Part Two: 

Rob scolds Rich for not telling us about the “I <3 KoC” shirts. Debates about whether it’s pronounced like Coke or like cock. “Wear that to Grandma’s house.” “One of those things will kill you!” 

Matt, Rob, and Rich bounce off of one another unbelievably well.

Questions about other projects and hobbies come up. Matt says he wants to get into racing again. Racing is in his future. Richard says he’s a lot like his father. His father was a lawyer. Rob used to have his own baseball league. With himself. He made up teams like “The Colors” and “Other Things.”

Rob and Rich are besties and it makes my life. 

The pilot for Skyward is streaming now on Amazon. Rich said there’s a part already sketched out for Rob if the show continues. It wasn’t his idea to include Rob, but he wanted to eventually anyway. 

Part Three:

Mark Sheppard is either consistently grouchy or was very tired/cranky today.

Almost all of his answers boiled down to one word, so that was the one word he used, and then moved on. He probably answered more questions on his own than Misha and Jake did combines just because of how fast he was moving. 

He said fuck Creation’s rules and walked around the crowd most of the time. Also joked about how when he was more powerful (and important), they never would’ve allowed that. (sad face on my part)

A fan asks how he feels about Fergus’s deal and how he lost his soul, what he sold it for. He doesn’t laugh. Just says, “If you want to ask about my penis, there are other ways to do it. I can’t relate to Fergus, if that’s what you’re asking.”

His favorite line is “Where’s your moose?” 

“You’re good, but I’m Crowley,” was improv. 

Talking about his wife and daughter made him light up like a Christmas tree. It was adorable. 

Everyone thinks he hates cats. He got very snarky about it. “Did I say I hate cats? No. I don’t hate anything. I hate Misha. Oops.”

He thinks Crowley came full circle. There wasn’t much else for him to do in the series, he thinks. 

He doesn’t understand the logic behind Rowena being Crowley’s mother.When Rowena dies at the hands of Lucifer (the first time), Mark said the line, “Always thought I’d be the one to do it,” felt very right in that moment.

Part Four: 

Jake Abel has the bubbliest butt in the entire cast. To quote myself from earlier today, “You could bounce a fuckin nickel off of that thing.”

He’s been creating plotlines and ways to bring Adam back. New plans are made every time he comes to a convention. Currently, we’re looking at an Adam spinoff in which he and his mother are resurrected (him from Hell, her from Heaven) and become hunters. They have “opposing forces!” as Jake said, and the story would follow the way they got the opposing forces to work together for the same common purpose.

This man is insane. 

He kept reminding us that he was in a weird mood because his flight didn’t get in until 4am.

Sleepy Jake is the cutest. 

Talk of Percy Jackson. 

Lots of talk about bringing Adam back. 

Part Five: 

MISHA. FREAKIN. COLLINS.

Guys. I’ve never been more amazed by one person’s smile and overall attitude. He’s so cheery and bright and uugghhh Misha.

He tells a story about his dad, and then says that he had to tell his children about his parents’ (brief, I think?) split, but he doesn’t want it to sound like that’s the only way marriages can end. The next day, his son went to school and told the teacher, “I want my parents to get a divorce.” I literally have no idea if this is true, but it’s what Misha told us.

Fake spoilers for Season 13, but he told us that he was filming it last night. Jared and Jensen still fuck with him to no end. 

“We were filming. Jared was on the bed, and we were doing something we don’t usually do on Supernatural.” *cue roars from the audience*

I think he tried to fight someone in the crowd. I have photos of his bulgy eyes and sassy jawline. Yeah, it’s a thing. 

MY PHOTO OP WITH HIM !!!!!!!!!

I was going to show him the photo of himself standing in front of the whiteboard with his drawing of Maison and the dandelion. Creation doesn’t allow phones in the photo op rooms so I had to put it in my pocket, which was fine.

I walked up and asked the woman if I could show him something. She said, “Sure, just make it quick!” Again, I get it. Not a problem. 

I’m standing there waiting with my arm pulled out of my sleeve to show him my tattoo. I walk up and I’m greeted with the most amazing smile and such a soft “hi.” 

I blurt out, “I NEED TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING!” *shoves my arm towards him* *silence from Misha as he stares*

His mouth kind of popped open when he realized what it was. His eyes are so freakin’ blue and I know because he looked me directly in them and told me, “That’s amazing.” 

My heart is racing, but I lean and and we hug and Chris snaps the photo. I step to walk away and Misha grabs my hands (!!!!!!!!!) I turn and look up at him (because damn he’s tall! He’s right, he’s just surrounded by giants.) and he squeezes my hands. “That’s amazing.” It’s so quiet and I blink for a second. “Thank you.” I get another tight hand squeeze and thank him before running into the hallway and crying. (*inhale* I’m okay, really.)

HUGE HUGE HUGE FUCKIN’ THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED MONEY TO GET ME THAT OP. I LOVE YOU ALL AND IF/WHEN I MEET YOU GUYS, HUGS ALL AROUND.

On to the auto. I showed him the tattoo again, quickly spat out, ”I know I showed it to you at the photo ops but...!”  and he drew a heart next to his name when he signed it. I got another “That’s amazing. Thank you so much.” and that friggin smile

I still don’t know if he knows the tattoo is his handwriting. I assume he could tell when he looked at it, especially for how long he looked at it. But *shrugs* maybe one day I’ll tell him.

While waiting for Misha’s op, I MET @HIGHONPASTRIES (whose tumblr is literally not working this weekend, just FYI)!!! There’s a selfie to prove it. Will be posted later.

Part Six:

Jake introduces the band. First starts by demanding that we chant, “Bring Adam back,” over and over again. Chant quickly turns into, “Lou-den Swain.”

I didn’t know I needed a fuckin’ KAZOO. *cough cough* @torn-and-frayed @nichelle-my-belle-spn-con-blog (still waiting for the kazoo tip to make an appearance)

Rob Benedict sang half a song without a microphone. Don’t know why. It just wasn’t working. 

MATT COHEN WINKED AS HE RAN PAST ME Y’ALL. Camera was too slow to capture it but if anyone has that wink, good God send it this way, please.

Sam Smith popped out! Just to introduce Kim though - no singing. 

Kim Rhodes was so nervous and I just want to hug her and tell her she’s amazing.

Kazoo song. Also known as Medicated. Someone had an amplifier for their kazoo. Rob was very impressed. Cast members are getting better at the kazoo solo. Rob isn’t happy about it. “This isn’t as fun when you guys are gooood.”

Vegan Breakfast Taquitos

It’s every students FAAAV time of year… back to school season! I’m no longer a pupil myself, but hearing someone say that back in the day would have made me gag. Back to school season ain’t the greatest, so I’m not gonna pretend it is. What I AM gonna do, though, is give you scrumptious back to school recipes to make September a lil’ more bearable! Last week I shared the first recipe in this series: vegan pumpernickel bagel bombs! And today, I’m bringing you another freezable + reheat-able way to start your day… BREAKFAST TAQUITOS!

I love a good taquito, and got inspired by my spicy black bean taquito recipe from the hot for food cookbook. But what on earth goes in a breakfast version, you ask? Typically this kind of thing would be filled with eggs, cheese, sausage and veggies – similar to what you’d find on a classic breakfast sandwich. But alas, Lauren the kitchen wizard did it again! I checked all those boxes AND managed to make it 100% easy vegan recipes vegan.

The recipe below calls for tofu scramble, which is super tasty and definitely hits the spot. But you can also sub that out for JUST Egg, AKA an amazing product that’ll make all your vegan egg dreams come true. Check out my Instagram @hotforfood to see how to use it! I also stuck to the good stuff with vegan cheddar, some spicy Beyond Meat sausages, and kale. Pop ’em in the freezer, then reheat (via oven or microwave) for breakfast in minutes! Get ready for these breakfast taquitos to make your work or school day a whoooole lot better.

Make early mornings a little easier with these breakfast taquitos! Tofu scramble, vegan cheddar, vegan sausage, and kale are a totally A+ combo.

ingredients

TOFU SCRAMBLE

1 (14 oz/450 g) brick of firm tofu (packed in water)

1/2 a large shallot, minced (about 2 tbsp) *used the other half for sausage mixture below

1 tsp vegetable oil

2 tbsp nutritional yeast

1/2 tsp ground tumeric

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 to 1/2 tsp sea salt, to taste

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1/4 C unsweetened nondairy milk

BREAKFAST TAQUITO

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 a large shallot, minced (about 2 tbsp)

2 spicy vegan sausages, thawed if from frozen (we used Beyond Meat hot italian sausages)

1 C tightly packed baby kale

1/2 tsp whole fennel seeds

1/4 tsp sea salt

1 x (7 oz/200 g) bag vegan cheddar shreds (about 2 cups)

12 x 6-inch vegan flour tortillas

1/2 C tomato salsa or salsa verde (for dipping)

1/4 C tightly packed, finely chopped cilantro or green onion, as garnish

instructions

Use a paper towel to pat the tofu dry. To make the scramble, in a medium nonstick pan over medium high heat, fry the shallot in vegetable oil for 1 minute until soft.

Crumble the tofu into the pan with your hands. Fry it for 2 to 3 minutes. Then stir in nutritional yeast, turmeric, smoked paprika, sea salt, and ground pepper. Fry for 4 more minutes until the liquid evaporates and the tofu begins to brown slightly.

Add the nondairy milk, combine well, cook for another 2 minutes. Separate half the tofu mixture into a large bowl and set aside. Reserve the other half of the mixture for another use. Wipe out the pan.

To make the sausage mixture, remove the outer sausage casing (if applicable). Heat the nonstick pan over medium heat with vegetable oil and crumble the sausage into small bite size pieces into the pan. Add shallot, fennel seeds and sea salt. Sauté until soft and the sausage is browned, about 8 to 10 minutes. Add baby kale and sauté until wilted. Add the sausage mixture into the tofu scramble and fold it in until combined. Set aside and wipe out the pan which you’ll use again to fry the taquitos.

To assemble your taquitos, add a pinch of vegan cheese shreds to a tortilla, then 2 tablespoons of the tofu and sausage mixture and top with another pinch of cheese. Roll up the taquitos tightly and place them seam side down onto a platter or baking sheet.

Heat up your nonstick pan over low to medium heat. Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil in an even layer. Depending on the size of your nonstick pan, fry 3 or 4 taquitos at a time seam side down, for about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and lightly fry the other side, about another minute. Serve with your favorite salsa.

To freeze your taquitos, individually wrap your cooled taquitos in parchment paper and twist the ends so your ends stick out like a large candy wrapper or a Christmas cracker. Place in the freezer until serving.

To bake your taquitos from frozen, preheat oven to 425°F. Unwrap the taquitos from the parchment and place on a baking sheet. You can re-use the pieces of parchment from the taquitos! Bake for 10 minutes, flipping halfway until the filling is warmed through and the outside gets crispy.

To microwave your taquitos from frozen, put the taquitos (parchment paper and all) on a plate and heat them up for 45 seconds. Some of the filling may seep out so you’ll want a plate under the taquitos. Unwrap and enjoy!

The taquitos freeze well, so if you want to make more than 12 taquitos, using the whole portion of tofu scramble it will make about 20 taquitos. If you’re making 20 taquitos, add 1 extra crumbled sausage link to the above filling amounts. You will also need to get an extra 7 oz/200g bag of vegan cheddar cheese shreds and an extra package of flour tortillas.

Dr. Tisza - basically what Ghost looked like right after medical school :V she only dyed the tips of her hair back then Fene- Fene is a spirit from Hungarian Mythology that was a spirit associated with illnesses. I couldn't find a definitive description if what they look like (tear) so insteeead...I made it up as I went along. as a bonus layer of MEANING: the colors are black for death and dull yellow for sickness. Yeet. Junker- b/c JUNKER SKINS ARE MY FAAAVE. Also b/c BroTP. Taltos-MORE HUNGARIAN MYTHOLOGY. This is basically their equivalent of a shaman; they speak to gods/spirit and can perform healing rituals. I added a more modern touch to it while trying to remain faithful to the idea of a shaman.

OML THE BTS CONCERT IS I 4 DAYS!!! I AM OH SO EXCITE AND ALSO V NERVOUS LMAO

this whole experience of planning a trip to see these boys has been SUCH A HOT MESS OMFG. SO if yall dont know already - hi hello I am BTS TRASH and going alone to see BTS. that’s right! I have zero friends that would be interested enough in going so I didnt care. I had already said I wouldnt care if BTS was going to hold a US tour I would go solo and not give a flying FRICK. (lmao) BUT I am INCREDIBLY inexperienced with - well I was going to say traveling alone but basically traveling in general lol - so I had asked my dad (since my mom and her bf have already toted my ass around 2 for my kpoppin shit) if he would get me tickets for christmas like that was all i wanted cause BOY THEY BE PRICEY AS HELL AND ME BEING A BROKE COLLEGE GRAD LMAO I NEED HALP. SO - long story short he ends up buying tickets as a surprise like we were on the phone when they went on sale and nothing was coming up so we gave up - well corrrection *HE gave up. ME on the other hand continued searching for 5 more hours and managed to find a P2 STANDING sooooooo instead of calling him to tell him…i bought it. LOL I KNOW I KNOW WAY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS MAKAYLA but look ticketmaster has a countdown clock and he was at work so i just did it. It ended up being like 250 which granted I did have enough to buy my ticket I just was saving my money for yaknow like BILLS AND LIVING SHIT but whatever BTS > LIFE . SOOOOOO once purchased I call him up and tell him and he drops the bomb on me that he in fact did buy two PLATINUM P4 TICKETS TO THE SHOW.  YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. 

so I may sound ungrateful brat but here is the thing - these tickets ARE EXTREMELY OVERPRICED FOR BASICALLY NO REASON. LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE NEEEEVVVVERRRRR TOLD ME HOW MUCH HE PAID BUT HE DID CAUSE HES DUMB BUT YEAH SOOOO here i am now with my p2 standing and 2 p4s ALL FOR THE SAME DAMN DAY T__________T  so still to this day I have been DESPERATELY trying to sell these damn things or better yet TRADE them for fridays show but UGH WHY MUST THEYY BE SO DAMN EXPENSIVE UGHHHH  like I get it - he was trying to do something nice for me but he literally just did not bother to look into the pricing for what each section was OR IDK LISTEN to when I told him I wanted to be in the PIT ?? but oh well - it is what it is.
