Being a Charles fan I actually have nothing nice to say about the clown team. I just meant it more like Newey is not going to Ferrari because of Hamilton?

Speculation has always been since he’s joining then maybe there would be new talent in engineering or something, which I don’t think it’s happening. Two of the reasons why Ferrari has trouble in attracting new talent (from my very superficial point of view) is they are based in Italy, compared to a lot of teams based in the UK, and is really more of a state-owned institute than a race team in terms of change and efficiency. And even though there’s Fernando, but this move with the huge salary and financial backing promised for his over projects looks much more like it’s not going to be longer than 3(2+1) years. Why would engineers move all the way just to work with him for 2-3 years. And I remember reading about anti-poaching in his current contract too, so when people were excited for Mercedes talent, it’s probably not happening.

But did Newey once say he wants to work with Hamilton? Right now google only has how they are going to be at Ferrari next year(maybe). If there was then I shall concede Newey is amongst those that have always dreamed to work for Ferrari and Hamilton.

i totally agree that ferrari is lewis’s retirement plan btw. i mean, that contract really is perfectly packaged to set him up to fulfill a dream (driving for ferrari) and then to swan off into ambassadorship with class and a good bow out. which is actually a VERY GOOD POINT regarding newey, as i hadn’t considered that! my best guess would be that newey is looking to retire soon (or now) too (and all of his recent interviews lean that way, so one last short term project with LH helping get ferrari back to excellence would be a nice send off for newey.

that being said, i frequently forget how delayed f1 development is. like, some of the poached talent ferrari is bringing in is garden leaved until 2026. newey would be working on the 2026 car — not even 2025! LH himself is out of reach until next season. it’s kind of wild to me how one bad year (cough, 2022) can set you back SO badly, because these problems can’t be fixed in a season or with any speed whatsoever (and then you get 2023…). so. it’s very possible the short term project couldn’t be very short term at all to be meaningful, which means not much of a quick little ferrari chapter before retiring peacefully.

also: yes, regarding the quote! newey said something along the lines of how he has three main regrets looking at his career, one being to work with lewis hamilton and the other to work for ferrari. (i forget what the third was because frankly it wasn’t as relevant to me 💀) it is somewhat recent i think? two months? it was circulating around during the LH to ferrari rumors because ppl were saying he could get 2/3. or maybe right after the LH to ferrari confirmation.

Because of how many characters I’ll be mentioning, I’ll try and simplify it as much as possible. I’ll be making a more in depth explanation about their relationships on @teammateswap-au once I get that going! So uh please be patient with me!! I am stupid and cannot read or write /lh.

Before I start, I already talked about Kris and Berdly’s relationship (along with Berdly’s relationship with Susie and Noelle) in THIS post! So I won’t be talking about Berdly’s relationships in this post (except for like…with Ralsei since I didn’t mention him)

Ok so everything’s under the cut have fun reading my incoherent ramblings :

KRIS - SUSIE :

They’re childhood friends! They’ve had their ups and downs but they’re still very close! Susie is basically Kris’s honorary sibling and is pretty much considered a part of the Dreemurr family. She, like with all of her friends (...and Berdly), is very protective over Kris. They’re bffls. Ride or die even—

KRIS - NOELLE :

They also knew each other when they were kids. However, Noelle was more aloof and clingy towards her family (mostly her sister). She didn’t really like hanging out the Dreemurrs. Now, they’re friendly with each other! Are they friends? Ehhhhh... Noelle sees Kris as a friendly acquaintance. (However, she would be very touched if Kris refers to her as a friend.)

SUSIE - NOELLE :

Susie is shy around strangers (around cute girls in general) but she out right avoided Noelle. Mostly because she didn’t want to make a fool out of herself. (She still did anyways but Noelle found it to be cute) Noelle always made an effort to get to know Susie more. (She tries to get acquainted with all of her classmates.) But she failed…Susie was very shy before. Noelle’s more caring to her compared to everyone else. (Mostly because of her shy and kind nature.) Eventually, they do become friends! (Friends who have GIGANTIC crushes on each other. That they’re acutely aware of but doubt the other has a crush in them. Because “Why would someone like HER like someone like ME?”)

SUSIE - RALSEI : Susie and Ralsei aren’t TOO close currently (Susie is still shy around strangers.) But they’re still friends! He tries to be really gentle with her but also teases her from time to time. (And Susie, again, is protective over Ralsei. A little more protective compared to others.) Susie actually thinks Ralsei is very adorable and (accidentally) comments on that fact. (And she gets teases by Ralsei for it) I actually talked about these 2 before! Didn’t really change that much stuff but still going to share regardless. Their relationship doesn’t change a lot—

NOELLE - RALSEI * : Noelle likes messing with Ralsei (because she’s a menace to society). Ralsei doesn’t particularly mind Noelle but wish she was a little nicer.

BERDLY - RALSEI * : Berdly thinks Ralsei is cute. WHOA WHO SAID THAT???? Anyways, ignoring that, like everyone else, Berdly talks down and condescends to Ralsei. Not really taking him all too seriously. Ralsei doesn’t have any opinions on Berdly. He just…kinda exists to Ralsei.

* Because Noelle and Berdly haven’t really gotten to know Ralsei in game (like…regular deltarune), this is speculation.

Separation anxiety for these to my BELOVED. The whump potential for these two is unimaginable with that alone- I love your responses!! I would actively give my whole soul for a writing of that lmao the angst is too good- I might have to write some content for these two at some point with how much I love em! I wouldn't use your ideas without permission ofc, but just talking about it makes me wanna write other stuff for them in general!

Honestly I'm considering adding it to the list of other things I think would be fun to write with these funky little men. And, feel free to use the ideas! I don't mind, and honestly I would love to them too :D so as long as there's credit and all that stuff, it's fine. There needs to be more angst for these guys, and I love getting asks about it too so don’t worry about that! I barely have any, so it’s not like the ask box is flooded or anything lmao XD it’s always really nice to get asks, they  are always super appreciated! 

I do have information about if only one is infected, in the tags of role reversal au for infected Sun and uninfected Moon and redemption au for infected Moon and uninfected Sun respectively, if you wanna check out those posts to ask questions about them! :D

Honestly, they’d both be unnerved. While they know they weren’t themselves, there still is the thought of wondering whether or not the band members would of been actually willing to go through with their threat knowing they weren’t in control of themselves. If infected Sun hadn’t backed down at the idea of his brother getting hurt, would they of actually destroyed Moon? Everything was set up, and Freddy sounded so serious even in retrospect. It sounded like he mean it, knowing the damage it would do to him to lose his brother. Knowing that, if he did it, Sun would come back from the virus only for his brother to be dead. It seemed like such a cruel option, since they knew that the two of them weren’t well and still tried to do it. 

Moon was just scared of them after that, and a bit ashamed because he realized that despite being meant to double as the daycare security he has the realization that he is pathetically unable to hold his own when it matters, which stings more then he’d like to admit. Sure it would’ve been bad had he been able to fight back, but finding out how easily you can be overpowered when alone is nervewraking.

The real reason why this season has been such a disaster:

No real answers to Hetty. Last season was the big exception, but there was no excuse for this season! I just don’t know what the writers were thinking this season with her.

Yeah, it’s natural that she wants a successor (BTW, even if she eventually chooses one, it, DOSN’T, automatically mean she’ll leave immediately afterwards!!!), but did it have to be done in a way that caused the fandom to freak out like crazy???

Plus, none of this crap really made sense, like, why is this happening now? why still absent for so many episodes? why does she look unhappy? what really happened to her in that blank slate of S10 to Till Death do us Part? did any of it had to do why she’s unhappy?

This season could’ve been better if questions were actually answered instead of creating more and of course, overused and stupid ‘red herrings’.

Sigh. We fans just want SOME sense of this mayhem instead of pure speculation!! which is why we need real answers! which is also why I’m still gonna say LH should really say something about all this crap!

Still gonna use #NotgivinguponHetty. (Until it feels like this gulliable fandom hasn’t given up on her)

I slightly disagree with your assessment that CE did the lh stage door and therefore is densenstitized and less anxious right now. He struggles with it. You can’t always predict what makes you anxious. I don’t think it has anything to do with cancelling the con but I don’t think we as strangers on the internet should be assessing his mental health and hoW he manages it.

I admit I’m reading a bit of my own struggle with anxiety into how I’m informed on that, and how some people find it easier to deal with certain kinds of phobias and fears through desensitization. I was just speculating that it didn’t make sense to me for people to say that he canceled because he doesn’t like the crowds at comic cons, since he’s successfully been dealing with crowds nightly for weeks. At least for now, it might not be an issue for him - if it ever was, and I’ll get more into that later.

At least for me, I hate flying. When I haven’t flown in awhile, I get terrified again. However, the more I fly the easier it is for me. That doesn’t mean I’m not gripping the seat preparing to die in a fiery inferno during every takeoff or during turbulence. I’m the first to confess that my habit of having a beer before every flight isn’t the best management technique, but the more I’m exposed to things I fear, the less I fear them (desensitization is a common anxiety management technique, btw). That’s why when I travel, I tend to do a bunch of trips together, then take time off from travel again. I find it easier to cope that way for the bulk of my trips.

Now, social anxiety, feeling claustrophobic in crowds, etc. may not all benefit from that kind of desensitization, but I don’t think we really know if he even has anxiety or any issues like that at all at comic cons. The last full comic con he attended, people made a big deal out of it, but wasn’t that mostly just driven by Internet rumor? I don’t remember there being anything concrete that he had an issue, and nothing other than the vapor of people just spinning stories. We don’t know if he even has that type of anxiety, or has issues with crowds at comic cons at all, much less is even desensitized to it at this point. So, I’m not convinced it’s even worth talking about anymore.
