Gretchen’s preferred notebook is A5 and is dark coloured with the word “notes” on the front and large rings as the spine. She doesn’t like A4 notebooks as a general rule because they’re Too Big and she likes to be able to hold them in one hand and write in them. The paper has to be good quality and it’s how she picks notebooks, by testing the paper feel in her hands. If it feels Wrong or low quality, she won’t buy it.

Bonus: Regina got her a beautiful notebook that was absolutely perfect for her 15th birthday and she refuses to use it. Gretchen didn’t tell Regina her notebook preferences and this one is just too good to use. It reminds her of Regina every time she sees it.
