Traveling with your mother in law is allways s good thing full of fun bonding moments. Except if you're Harbinger and your mother in law is your legendary predecessor: Taurus Aldebaran. Ladies and gentlemen, let's see how this one goes down. It can't be that bad, can it?

I am NOT having fun here. I DID NOT ask to be here. I am doing this for Kiki and for Kiki only. Otherwise, I would never come close to face my biggest fear: traveling alone with my mother in law.

Currently as we speak, she is taking me to her home country as a birthday gift from Mu. I didn't think that I, through Mu's own recommendation, would be the one going with her. Not Mu herself. Not Kiki. Not even her beloved grandson, Raki. Me. The one she despises the most.

She doesn't even feel that way about Niobe and that little shit of a specter nearly killed her.

Anyways.

We are walking around this place called Ver - o - Peso, which is a fair full of people. And people. And even more people as we walk around pointlessly, since, know that woman, we are not buying anything until she sees everything there is in this place.

The more we walk around, the more people start to stare at me. And when I say "people" I meant little kids. These little brats look at me like they have never seen someone walk around the place with they're girlfriend's mother! Like: I'm genuinely not trying to get on her nerves today, mind y'all's own business for once!

Than these two little kids bump on Aldebaran. They were both pretty concerned about whatever and seemed like they were lost. The oldest of them, this little girl, started speaking to my predecessor in their native language.

Which I now know it's portuguese, as I am NOT going to be hit in the face for. Not again.

Unfortunately, the countless times I've been hit didn't come with the magical automatic lesson, so I still can't understand a word they're saying. Which of course, is why I shall not leave my official human translator's side.

Anyways, she started asking the kids about their parents, trying to get some clues anout how they looked and where to look for them.

Turns out they were walking around for some souvenirs for the kids since they would go traveling around the country in a couple of days. The kids family worked and lived in a circus.

We ran around the fair, each of us holding a kids hands (that is, the girl holding Aldebaran's hand and her little cousin walking side by side with me, since he was, and I quote, "too shy to do so". What are the odds, right?).

The thing is: the boy didn't stop staring at me the whole time. I wanted to ask what was wrong, but I was too afraid to scare him off. Fortunately, he took the initiative. And I discovered that at least he knows english.

Oh boy. I was already expecting something like this to be asked. I just wasn't expecting that the kid would do it in a way that called out the attention of the duo in front of us.

When I checked, both of them stoped walking and were now staring at me, waiting for an answer.

I felt weird for a second, but I gess I hid it well. After this whole mess of a situation, predecessor and I went back to the shopping spree. If Mu told me that she gave me the other plane ticket so I was the one carrying the souvenirs that were bought in this single trip, I would have believed it more.

No offense to my beloved's mother, but why are there so many? Is she buying for the entire XX and XXI centuries gold saints? (Spoiler alert: NO! Just his imediate muvian family, Shion, Dohko, Shiru, Shunrei, Ryuho and my honorable brother in law: Seiya.)

And then, we miraculously survived this shopping spree and went back to our hotel room. At least I got a bit of peace before anything Aldebaran drags me to do tomorrow.

- If it's about the kids being rude, they apologized after you talked with that lady. - I said, lifting my face off the pillow to see that she had already gotten out of the bathroom. She was drying her hair with the towel while staring at me with a concerning look.

The atmosphere got dense. Aldebaran probably thought even more lowly of me after that.

Maybe she will be more open for me to be her daughter in law.

Whats the difference between fan art and fan fic?

You (and others) have talked a lot about why you cant read fan fictions. But from time to time you reblock fan art. So I'm wondering, where is the line? Is a simple picture okay but not a comic? What if the caracter in the fan art is saying something that's not from a canon source?

If for example Crowley had normal eyes in canon but fandom decided he got yellow reptilian eyes and only drew him like that. Why is it okay for you to rebog art when its drawn and not written?
