A Guide to Red - The Quintessential Taylor Swift Album

After the release of The Manuscript, the role of Red and Red (Taylor’s Version) in Taylor’s life and discography has been highly discussed. A lot of people have referred to it as her magnum opus and most formative album. I have decided to compile a condensed list of about a dozen key interviews, performances, speeches, posts, and videos from 2011 all the way until 2024 that illustrate the importance of this record for Taylor’s personal life and career. I’m putting the list under a cut because it got pretty long. You don’t have to go through all of these, obviously, but I would suggest at least one per era. When they were in Italy at the same time (twice), Release of the Liam Gallagher docu, Harry-esque voice on Lottie stories quickly deleted, Fine Line, Adore you, Louis the fish, Walls, Too Young, Habit, the DLIBYH vid with Harrys back drawing, "this shade of blue", Walls 1st anniversary with H's tattoos on Spotify, the Umbro Shirt, Louis covering 7, Hopelessly devoted to you, Still the One and I will Survive at Harrychella, SO many blue and green lights and clothes, H nodding about musicians who break body parts on tour, "i love HIM", they both in LA on grammy parties, Louis coughing after H cancelled shows due a cold, they both at the euros, some.of your receipts... and SEVERAL other little things I can't remember now.. sure is not like 2011-2015 when I imagine fans had stuff happening every other day, some of these are just funny/cute facts and not a 'proof', and like you said, their goals are different but it's been quite fun nonetheless, specially when I started distancing myself from haters and stopped giving them attention

Synopsis: One where Harry and YN go from Friends to lovers

"Your girlfriend was here the other day and she said that you jumped out of window again, is that true?" Howard Stern asked Harry, "is that you have a bandage on your hand again?"

Harry looked at the man puzzled, even though he knew who the man was talking about. It was annoying for many different reasons, and most annoying one was that he doesn't have a girlfriend.

"YN, your girlfriend." Howard explained.

"She's my best friend, Howard," Harry corrected him, "and no, I almost jumped off a window but she stopped me. This is from injury. I, uhh, I was filming the new Eternals. Had a bit of a surgery done."

Harry was pissed the whole interview because Howard kept calling YN his girlfriend.

As much as he wants it to be true, he doesn't think it ever will be.

A bit of a back story, YN and Harry met at Brits back in 2019. She was there to perform and took home almost all of the major categories. He even presented her with one award himself. He had just gotten to see her perform at Grammy's where she took all major categories home as well. This time around he got to talk to her.

He has always been smitten by her since she first blew up in media. YN's former Miss World. And he didn't know why, he kept up with the pageant that year. To add to it, she was his favourite contestant even. So being able to present her with an achievement she deserved so much and worked so hard for was like a fan-boy moment for him.

He then got to meet her at the after party, they were joint to the hip that night. Their friendship only grew from there and so did his feelings for her. From infatuation it went to crush, to likeness and now he thinks he's really in love with her.

Good lord, they've been friends for almost four years! That's more than enough time for him to fall for her.

He also couldn't bring himself to speak his feelings to her. He can't live this anymore. Until, he went and fucked it all up.

No, quite literally.

They both drunkenly hooked up in a bathroom of his hotel room after her three time platinum album party two weeks ago ago. They both haven't talked since then. YN was called right in the morning urgently and none of them to sit down and talk about their drunk shenanigans.

To be fair, both of them are on tour. He shouldn't have been drinking when he had to go on tour in two days, and so did her when she had a show the very next day. From that very next, it have been interviews and shows for her, and constant travel for him.

He tried to call her but she's busy and when calls him back, he's busy. It isn't just working out and it's eating him inside out. He just want to talk to her that's all. He feels guilty because he remembers everything, he just hopes she does too and doesn't regret it in anyway.

He didn't get to talk to her for whole two weeks. He was on tour. She's busy with recording another one of her Album.

It's been nothing but small talk. And it's bothering him.

He gets to see her today on her last show. He just got in time when her sound check was almost done at the Madison Square Garden. She was checking the visuals of the show with her manager and her producer at the very back of the pit.

"Can we have Ezra's guitar a two notches louder, please?" She spoke in her sparkly microphone asking to make her lead guitarists sound a little bit up. "Yup that's perfect!" She handed the mic to producer and her manager had something to say to her in instant as Harry was about to approach her.

But YN quickly excused herself and sprinted towards him at the entrance, in five inch heels she wore to practice in for her performance. He still couldn't fathom how she can run in those, but his thoughts were put on a hault as she jumped up on him with her arms wrapped around his neck and her legs around his hips tightly, her face buried in his neck. If it weren't for his fast reflexes they would have both fallen down on the hard ground. But he wrapped one his arm around her waist and other under her bum to keep her supported. And before he could say anything else when she finally lifted her head up to look at him. Her lips were on his.

He was taken back. But so was she as she immediately pulled back again, "I'm so sorry!" He carefully placed her back on her feet, she stood almost as tall as him with her heels. He pulled in for another kiss with her hand behind her neck now. A sweet quick peck.

He didn't know he missed her so much that he remembered how she tasted. "I missed you so much!" She hugged him again when he pulled away this time.

"I missed you too, baby." He held her tightly close to her.

"You're not mad at me, are you?" She asked.

"No, I'm just confused." He admitted.

"YN come on, chop chop." YN's manager called for her interrupting Harry. She had no opening act for tonight as she had released a new album last night and she'll be performing for three hours and forty-five minutes there. With a new album, it only added to the pile of six other albums of her. But this was only her third English language album. They would start letting people in next ten minutes.

Her manager wasn't being rude, the lady loved Harry like her son. She just wants YN to be safe as people start coming in. And she also had to get ready.

"I'm sorry." She looked at him with sad puppy eyes, "I feel so bad we didn't even get to talk." She was on urge of crying.

"I know." He cooed, "it's okay. I promise. It's a big day, I don't want you to be anxious. I promise we'll sit down and talk after this, yeah?"

"Okay." She nodded.

"I'll be here when you come back, we're leaving together." He assured her. "Now give me a kiss before you go back." And she did.

Giving him a last squeeze she ran off to the backstage. Harry went back to the VIP standing area. He just hopes she's not anxious.

She tends to get very anxious and shut down. Full on pass out black when she's anxious. It's scary for him. Especially when he had encountered her that way not once but twice. He didn't realise YN's family had started to show up. She had a few relatives in New York plus her own parents and older and little siblings.

"You know there is going to be a secret guest tonight." One of the twin sister spoke.

"Yeah, she won't tell me about it!"

"Harry, do you know who that us?" The ten year old walked upto him, followed by her twin.

Harry has grown to love these kids, YN's affection and adoration for these little girls have rubbed off on him. Especially when that was all she talked about for first few months after they first become friends. She loved her little sisters with her life.

"I don't know darling, who do you think that is going to be?" He asked, holding both their hands back as he walked them to a side as the crew moved around.

He had a nice chat with both of them. They gave him the little birthday cards they made him as they missed his birthday this year. They ever made him a drawing each.

Now Harry wondered who the surprise guest is going to be. He can think of only three people at that time.

Harry danced with the twins as YN came on the stage well to halfway through the show. But the girls went to go get their sugary drinks leaving him alone.

He took the opportunity to admire her for that time. She wore a black dress sith puffy sleeves which hemed just above her knees, with her black tights and black heeled boots she wore earlier. The sweet heart neckline of her dress showed her collarbone, where he remembered leaving a very very in-your-face hickey drunkenly. Maybe she had covered it up or it might have healed.

Yeah, she might have covered it because her mother would kicked her and his ass at the same time. Her mother's very religious for context. And YN's mum is a softie but can be very intimidating.

It was a mother's day show. He wouldn't want YN's mum to be upset. Especially when he knows she have practically adopted him into her family. Maybe like a little lost puppy but she adores him.

It was complete one-eighty from her usually, grafic t-shirts and baggy jeans.

She looks gorgeous none the less. He just couldn't take his eyes off of her there. He shouldn't be looking at anyone else but it was obvious he's oogling at her. Just until the twins interrupted him offering him a Cool-aid.

The lights went down as YN finished her first Grammy winning song. Just a spot light on the elevator downstage.

Taylor Swift herself rose up on the stage as she sung. Harry almost choked on his drink.

He thought YN only joked about bringing her girl crush who ironically is his ex on the stage with her. But she actually did it.

It felt theatrical, with YN's amazing band and insanely  talented background vocalists. With the most genius lyricist, and in YN's glory. It was truly magical. YN's sister were going feral on the side. Sobbing by now.

Both of the girls sang together. Taylor singing in beautiful harmonies with YN.

Then it hit him there. He froze as YN sung the next verse. Standing closer on the side of stage where he stood.

Inescapable, I'm not even gonna try

And if I get burned, at least we were electrified

And he knew exactly what she was talking about. Not her words but they held different meaning for both of them now.

His fans already hated her enough, thinking she's using him for fame. But little did they knew, she's more known than he is. And the narrative can be flipped around on him by YN's fans who are double and scarier. But they never di that. Because of YN.

His jaw dropped for a moment. That's exactly what happened. It was nothing new for both of them to hang out, but this time she just felt like taking a bath. Harry supported her by running her a bath as she continued to get shit faced straight from a bottle of wine she picked up from the party.

He initiated it, in her defence. But she was as guilty as he he was.

Afterall, it takes two to Tango!

But it was also true, no one knew about their secret hang outs. They both practically lived together on their off months. Sharing a bed., Sharing their clothes, fighting over little disagreements then making up by bringing one another's favourite food. All of the cuddles all of the secrets they shared with one another, all of the vulnerable moments, which made their friendship that much stronger and every doubted like they every single detail about them.

"Give it up for Doctor Taylor Swift everyone!" YN hyped up the crowd. Harry clapped and cheered as well. "Thank you so much for joining us here tonight. And thank you Taylor for joining us tonight. This took, so, so, so long to happen. Tonight is extra, extra special to me. Because it mother's day, and my Mummy is in the crowd."

The crowd cheered up, "and also we had to bring The Mother herself with us tonight." Taylor laughed as she grabbed her guitar from the crew member. "No seriously Taylor, this is my fangirl moment right here. And can't tell you how much this means to me. Have been you fan since I was seven, since Tim McGraw." YN grabbed her guitar well as the girls walked up to the middle stage on the catwalk. They both perched up their mic on the stand.

Taylor started strumming the guitar as she introduced her first ever song which gave boost to her career.

They both then sang more of her songs, like Clean, I Knew You Were Trouble, Delicate, and of course, Out Of The Wolds and Style.

Harry knew YN still wasn't going to leave his ass. She would tease him all the time. And it actually became reality tonight.

The show still went on until YN closes out with one of her party songs. And ran down the stage. Harry and YN's family was escorted backstage.

She was immediately greeted by her little sisters. And then her mum.

Harry stood back, mainly for two reasons, her family was going back home immediately and he was still scared of her mum. He promised her that they'll talk later anyway. Though it was super hard not to just kiss her right there.

YN bid her family bye as their car left. Her and Harry got into one car.

"That amazing. You killed it!" Harry hyped her up as she sat back and relaxed.

Back at YN's hotel room, the first thing she did was took off her boots as Harry shut the door behind him.

"Should I bring out the wine again?" He teased her and he pinned her against the wall.

"I don't think we need that right now." She answered, "I'm all sweaty stop."

"Like I haven't seen the worse of you." He scoffed but leaned down to button his mouth on hers in a delicate kiss, making her melt like an ice cube on a hot summer day. She now stood shorter than him with her heels off.

"I could really use a large pizza and a hot shower right now, please?" She suggested when he pulled away feeling her tummy growl.

"Yeah? I'll order us one." He offered as the walked into her room. "You want to put on our show?"

"No, I just want a quiet night." She shared as she picked out a change of clothes from her luggage. She was believer of not unpacking because she found it too tedious.

"Don't you want me to take off that dress of your." He walked up closer to her behind as he teased her. "Hey, is that my shirt?" Harry noticed making her take a run to the bathroom, "hey, come out here you little thief!" But the door was slammed on his face.

By the time YN was back from her shower, the fold had arrived. Harry ordered two pizzas for both of them and a few bottles of water and cut mixed fruits for dessert. He knows she isn't going to share because she gets so hungry after her shows as she doesn't like to eat before. And he was hungry too!

They both cuddled up in her bed under the sheets as it was getting quite cold. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." He placed a kiss on her temple. "Do you want to talk about the night we had sex?"

"Yeah." She nodded taking a bite of her pizza. "Did it mean anything to you?"

"Everything." He admitted, "you?"

"Mhmm. I couldn't focus on anything after. I was so scared that you'd be mad because I had to run out." She shared.

"But you woke me up, didn't you?" She did. She did woke him up telling him that her manager and the tour manager had to talk to her about one of the band member falling sick, and they had to look for someone new for the night. It was urgent, and only YN knew who were those people, because the girl made connections everywhere she went.

YN's a completely different human when it some to her work and her personal life.

And then later he got called for work and things went down hill from there. At least for two weeks.

"I did but that still didn't help." She glanced at him once.

"Yeah? Tell me about it baby." He urged her gently. He wants to know how she feels too.

"No, how about you go first?"

"Okay." He admitted, "you know I'm going to be honest and tell you I've always been smitten by you." He let her eat in peace he spoke, she's listening to him he knows. He chuckled, "come back here." He pulled her in again. That's when he saw the fading hickey just above her right collarbone. The shirt wore was bug on him, it was pretty evident it was almost falling off of her shoulders.

They ate their late dinner in silence until they were done. Harry threw away the boxes in trash before she slipped back in bed with her. He made sure to bring the mixed fruits bowl with him.

"You full now?" He asked cautiously, "you want fruit for dessert?" She's been doing so well lately.

Harry had suggested she goes to therapy but she never felt like it, which, fair enough. He's been trying his best to offer her any help he can. And it's working. But he hopes one day she feels comfor enough to get some professional help.

"Oh I'd love to!" She nodded. He let her pick out her favourites and ate the rest. "Harry?"

"Hmm?"

"What are we now?" She asked.

"Hmm..." He sounded again but as if he's thinking, "I think we should be Girlfriend bestie and Boyfriend bestie."

"You need to delete Tiktok and Instagram off your phone." YN laughed as she took a sip from her water.

"I'm serious, I want to be your boyfriend." He said, rather firmly.

"And I want to be your girlfriend." She mocked his tone earning a few soft laughs from him. He placed a firm kiss on her mouth.

"I love you."

"I love you."

Of course they had much more to talk about. But YN fell asleep on him there, holding onto him tight.

It's nothing new them, but Harry cherishes and savours each and every moments like these with her.

i need help. i’m so slow at unpacking the songs & their lyrics but you guys seem so confident that Kaylor lives. mind sharing lyrics or interpretations that you make you feel confident?

i think i speak for a lot of kaylors when i say we weren’t going into this album thinking we were all in some make or break situation, where the songs would be what decides whether or not kaylor lives. and we haven’t come out of it feeling different! so for starters, the very process of processing the songs is a bit different, i think, than the process suggested in your question.

this post got kinda long so i’m going to put it under the cut! and just a tl;dr that i am just talking about this aforementioned process. i’ve started writing out interpretations for the songs that have caught my kaylor attention but it’s taking time, so i thought id go ahead and post the other aspect of my answer in the meantime

a big part of kaylor interpretation is taking a look at what taylor and karlie were doing over the period of time that an album was written and the lead up to album rollout, and seeing if it looks like karlie knew in advance about what would be on the album, or how it would be promoted. the fundamental idea is that if taylor and karlie truly hated each other like everyone insists, that they wouldn’t go out of their way to drop hints or allow one another to drop hints.

so for example, karlie started wearing this pair of sunglasses with the product name “poet” before the name of the album (the tortured poets department) was ever known. she walked in two schiaparelli runway shows (the significance being that these days its rare for her to walk a show, and she’s never walked for schiaparelli before although she’s been to their shows in years of late), one of these schiaparelli shows was specifically alien themed, which lines up with the theming of Down Bad, and then next taylor announced the tortured poets department at the grammys wearing custom schiaparelli (i don’t think taylor’s ever worn the house before). so like, these sorts of things don’t make sense until later but they are signs we look to as a backdrop when going into an album. they are a sort of most recent indicator of the state of the union.

historically (especially post 2019 when what i call the scorched earth narrative was disseminated) people looking to disprove kaylor tend to brush off this stuff (twinning, similar theming or messaging in social media, etc) as oh it’s coincidental, but even if it’s not, any kaylor things that happen now are just because taylor is grieving and desperate for karlie and/or karlie wants notoriety because she wants… more money. but as i’ve said and as many have said for the past 5 years, it makes no sense and is such a misread of drivers for karlie and taylor. i beg people to try and put themselves in karlie’s shoes and ask themselves, would you endure all the hate for… more… money?? would you fly across the country and go to taylor’s concert two weeks post-partum, in a state of physical disrepair just to… spite her?? and have millions of people send hate at you for it..?

anyway, i know this is different than lyric analysis but it’s an integral part of kaylor analysis so i wanted to highlight it. i’d also point out that a whole bunch of people are currently analyzing her entire back catalog re: matty context clues in the same ways so 🤷🏻‍♀️ i think it’s a natural tendency for a lot of people— with kaylor though it’s outlawed.

and i want to reiterate that i think observing the time surrounding the album is a particularly worthwhile thing to do because it takes into account a more recent period of time than that of which the songs represent. i think people can get tunnel vision analyzing an album or individual songs and lose sight of the fact that we are here now after the album has been written. the lyrics are not the most recent thing!

another point i feel that needs mentioning is that with kaylor, among kaylors, we are looking at recent albums more for signs of taylor weaving a story of them that leads to them getting back together publicly. the idea that we are probably not going to get some big reveal that oh everything prior was fake! we have always been together! but rather some separate telling of events that preserves the integrity of people involved to some extent. so there are likely several layers going on when looking at songs. a mix of truth and augmented truths. songs can be useful towards meeting an end goal without telling the entire truth, while the fact that they are useful is still an indicator of the meta truth. i know this sounds a little convoluted... but thats alright im not invested in proving it to people 🙈 (nor do i think it should be provable!!)

lastly, while i am still compiling all my kaylor observations from each song, i did want to point out the obvious: that my understanding of the album (and i assume this is true for more kaylors as well) is colored by the inclusion of the song Robin. …i guess i will mince my words a little bit because i consider it a sensitive subject but basically, it’s a song about something that we would expect taylor would be singing about if they’re together in the way we understand it to be, given what we have been shown. and some of the lyrics are so specific to this… far flung idea… and such a contemporary development… that it sort of works to recontextualize any of the songs on ttpd that would otherwise feel breakuppy? because it pushes the story so far forward in matching our understanding. the hardest songs are easier to see as emblematic of the past, and the path that led us here to the present. in this way, at least for me, it makes it easier to appreciate the kaylor easter eggs going on in the songs as emblematic of kaylor, as opposed to litigating them and filing them one by one, because i truly believe taylor would not release Robin if kaylor was actually over. same goes for recurring motifs throughout the album (and midnights, and you might also include folkevermore as well) related to what robin is about. might sound weird to say but you could almost make a drinking game out of the motif, honestly, given how often she does it throughout the album.

i know the whole thing is wild. i have accepted this and im not out here to push it on people 😌 though i do leave the porch light on for people passing by. because for years now, with each new album people continue to say oh this is the kaylor breakup album, oh she’s finally over it, and then i guess they get amnesia by the time the next album comes along and kaylor themes yet again persist. and idk, to me, kaylor just being together this whole time is actually one of the least complicated outcomes.

anyways, in conclusion, apologies for not providing a song by song analysis right away 🙏 but i wanted to put out this part in the meantime. i don’t expect everyone to agree with this premise but i think it’s key to understanding how a lot of us approach this album. i hope it provides a little insight into my perspective! 🫶

another year gone, this one certainly did not fly though. i can't believe i've been on here for as long as i have, especially been active as long as i have either. i made a lot of sets this year (for obvious reasons) but i don't think any of them have been memorable to me at all. however, while thinking about it and discussing it with friends, i realized that i could make them do my work for me. <3 hence, this year's wrapped has a feature from people who have been around for me this year in various ways, most of them have heard me cry about why i did this to myself at least once, and all of them have been so so supportive i genuinely would not have even made it halfway through daily joon without them. i probably also would not have made it through Life without them. through this, i also realized i talk to a lot of people. somehow.

I think I read somewhere in a blog that Jikook were broken up for some time in late 2019 to early 2020, so ON era and BS, but then reading another post the person said during the bts of black swan Jikook were flirting and JM was trying to get back together. But it’s contradictory because how can both be true? I admit that during the ON video shoot they seemed to not engage much, but that’s it. During their promotions in February they seemed to engage very little too, during car pool karaoke and the Grammys etc. But I would take that to mean they were trying to be professional (which after the backlash of cancel jikook in late 2019 they might have been told to do?). Same as in August 2019 when the person said there was also tension, but was there? From what I saw of the same time period all that happened was JM went on a few trips, not sure why that would mean they were in a bad place, especially when we got footsiegate in bv4. They were fine before JMs trips, fine when the boys were planning bv4, fine on JKs birthday and JK saying he spent time with JM and Hobi in the 1st episode of BV4 and even in his mini video to Jk before his flight home JM saying he’d seen JK only a few days ago?

It all reads to me like a K drama and I don’t agree that their relationship is like that, yes they fight and have moments of tension and sometimes we can see that in their interactions, but to break up? Would they? What I mean to say is if people view Jikooks relationship like that and live and thrive off the drama what’s the basis to say they are even a couple because all that reads toxic af and that’s not at all what comes across as the real them.

This is for @blue703 2019. The one where JK made the bear snow globe and gave it to Tae. Watch it again and watch them closely. Tae seemed to be off at the first part of their trip with JK constantly looking at him. He was giving Tae space but he looked wary and his focus was mostly on Tae. When they were all making the snow globes, Suga even said to Taehyung "Taehyung, you should learn to let go or else you will lose even those you already have." In essence, that's what his message was. Seems like Suga was helping JK out to "make up" with Taehyung.

Few things to note about Winter Package in Finland as well:

They blurred the names of who they picked to give their snow globes too, and I have a hunch that it's because JK didn't give the globe to the one he is supposed to give it to and broke the "chain" by giving his to Tae. Hence, you have Hobi quickly "remedying" the situation at the end by giving the globe he made himself to himself coz "he love his self" LOL!

TK were giving eo space the first day there, JK wasn't able to get much footage of Tae for GCF coz he didn't approach Tae in the 1st day activity. He got his footage when they seemingly made up already the next day.

I don't know when they actually "made up", but there was a shift in that "giving space to eo" to then clinging to eo after when JK cried while reading his own letter. Tae went over to him and comforted him. After this "scene", they were around eo more often and we got pleeeenty of domestic and sweet TK moments: photoshoot of JK backhugging Tae, JK smelling Tae's hair looking so domestic if you took a photo of that moment, Jk saying Tae is so innocent and Tae getting flustered etc.

When they were writing on their "trip diaries", JK seemed to have wrote the first lines of Kim Dong Ryul's "Like a Child": "When you said you love and accepted my love....." VMinKook were horsing around writing on their diaries. JK and JM wrote on Tae's diary, there was a page full of smileys which led to a prompt on the diary "remind someone you loved one you love them" and those lyrics where what was written above. Now, the most intriguing part is when Tae was reading what JK and JM wrote. You can see the moment he gasped on camera and got visibly moved almost like choking on tears. They were pretty much so cozy after they "made up". This was also when I notice a shift in JK being more "open" in his affections for Tae. Airport nape kiss, GDA Hug, Grammys clinging etc all happened after this trip.

They went to Finland in November 2019 for this. Another thing to note, the "Get out of your imagination" comment happened just days after TK made up and were so cozy, hence the "Tae put shippers into place" "He doesn't love Jungkook like that" comments don't make sense. He was literally being pampered and showered with love and affection by JK those days LOL!

I don't know what the cause of the "drama" was at first part of that trip. This was months (November) after JK and tattoo girl issue came out (September), they travelled to New Zealand (BV 4) when that news broke and TK seemed fine (but then they are filming so they must show they're fine BUT then clearly in Winter Package, Tae had no issue avoiding interactions with JK when they arrived in Finland so.... there's that too). What stood out to me tho is this trip happened a week after JK's minor car accident. He was apparently just few minutes away from Tae's house. I dont know if there's a connection to that and their lil "non-scenes" in Finland.

Oh also note that Tae must have stared writing Sweet Night around this time.

Jikook Week 8 Complete ✔️(30/01/24 - 06/02/2024)

Their eighth week in the military is now complete. It's time to celebrate this milestone with a look back at this week in 2020.

BTS was in Phase 2 of their Map of the Soul 7 comeback......

...starting with the first single release Black Swan on 17th January.

They flew to the US on the 18/01/2020....

..where they performed Old Town Road with Lil Nas X at the Grammys on 26/01/2020.

During the week 30/01 to 06/02 they were still in the US and doing the rounds of the talk shows. These videos of them at iHeart Radio came out on the 01/02 and 06/02.

Everyone was in high spirits excited about the release of the album and the Map of the Soul tour which we now know was not to be. They returned to South Korea the next week on 10/02/20.

This past October, Lzzy and Joe announced an intimate tour featuring the two of them performing acoustic, stripped down versions of HALESTORM favorites and the music that has inspired the band. Dubbed "Halestorm's Lzzy And Joe: The Living Room Sessions", the tour consists of 12 dates in January 2025.

When the trek was first announced, Lzzy said in a statement: "With this tour, we're inviting our fans to experience what it would be like hanging with Joe and me in our living room: picking up instruments, telling stories, chatting about songs that helped shaped us as a band and brought us to where we are today."

Joe added: "Back when we decided to quit our day jobs and make music our full-time endeavor, Lzzy and I would play music wherever we could, and sometimes that meant playing acoustic covers in any bar or restaurant that would have us. That time really allowed us to develop our playing skills and dig into songwriting, and it really set the groundwork for what HALESTORM is today."

In a September 2024 interview with PK of Louisville, Kentucky's ALT 105.1 radio station, Lzzy spoke about the progress of the recording sessions for HALESTORM's follow-up to 2022's "Back From The Dead" album. Lzzy said: "We've had three separate sessions in the studio with — we're making a record with [producer] Dave Cobb. And he's actually a huge closet metal fan, and so he's really excited. And so we're making this great music, but we're constantly touring. So we've had, like, three different sessions in the studio. We're probably — what? — 70, 80, maybe, percent there. We have a studio in our house and so I'm doing a lot of the finishing touches on vocals and sewing everything up, doing solos and all that. And then we get back in in December to just say, 'Okay, this is good.' And then, yeah. And then there we are. So we're excited about it. We really are."

Cobb has shared in nine Grammy wins, including four for "Best Americana Album" and three for "Best Country Album". He's also been named "Producer Of The Year" by the Country Music Awards, the Americana Music Association (twice) and the Music Row Awards, and has been a Grammy nominee in the category.

HALESTORM and I PREVAIL recently embarked on summer 2024 co-headlining tour. Produced by Live Nation, the trek kicked off on July 9 in Raleigh and ran through August 17 in Las Vegas. HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD and FIT FOR A KING served as support. The tour was also the catalyst and the creative spark for HALESTORM and I PREVAIL's collaborative track "Can U See Me In The Dark?", which was released in June.

"Back From The Dead" has tallied over 100 million streams worldwide. Rolling Stone called the title track "a biting but cathartic howler about overcoming all obstacles," and that song as well as "The Steeple" marked their fifth and sixth number ones at rock radio, respectively. Associated Press said the album "will definitely be in the running for best hard rock/metal album of the year." Their previous album, "Vicious", earned the band their second Grammy nomination, for "Best Hard Rock Performance" for the song "Uncomfortable", the band's fourth #1 at rock radio, and led Loudwire to name HALESTORM "Rock Artist Of The Decade" in 2019.

Fronted by Lzzy with Arejay, Hottinger and bass player Josh Smith, HALESTORM's music has earned multiple platinum and gold certifications from the RIAA, and the band has earned a reputation as a powerful live music force, headlining sold-out shows and topping festival bills around the world, and sharing the stage with icons including HEAVEN & HELL, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett and JUDAS PRIEST. Additionally, Lzzy was named the first female brand ambassador for Gibson and served as host of AXS TV's "A Year In Music".

So the gloves that Tobias wore at the 2019 Grammys are made by a company called Majesty Black. You can still find them on their website.

They're a luxury glove brand. The short nail gloves Tobias wore are pretty cheap at 685$ but their other pairs can go as high as over 2000$.

They're the same company that made Terzo's gloves, altho they weren't the same model. They're sadly discontinued, they were a shorter claw model.

But Majesty black worked (and will probably continue to) a lot for Ghost, they aldo made Cardinal Copia's grucifix gloves and Copia's ENTIRE papa robes. Including the gloves, of course.

Anyway, life laugh laugh Majesty Black. They currently have a 300$ off sale on nailed gloves for 3 more hours if anyone's interested 😂

I think the apology she wanted from Joe was for him choosing a movie above the opening night of her biggest tour and not jetting back for the opening night. From Taylor's behaviour we can see it's super important for the boyfriend to be there for her tour.

Obviously he was filming and it would have been disruptive for him to do this but I can see her expecting this (also given Joe was away working during other important events for her like Red TV release or the Graduation thingy)

Her remark to Travis saying "jetlag is a choice " and flying around the world for the Superbowl after the last night in Tokyo cements this. She has been dropping quotes about how important it is for the partner to show up and support her in interviews & even in pressers about the Travis relationship

well now that she has a partner who is always there for her important events, she should start focusing on him instead of trying to shade her ex at any given chance. she got what she wanted so why's she still fussing. also here's a list of all the important events that joe attended for her:

1. The jbb concert (her first performance after the cancellation era) he also jetted back from his movie set (the operation finale) to be there for Taylor. Jet lag was a choice back then too.

2. Several rep concerts including the opening night. He attended with his friends, family and co-stars.

3. The Prime concert where she couldn’t stop looking at him.

4. CATS premiere

5. Vmas afterparty in 2023 (even when things were rough)

6. grammys afterparty 2023 (see he attended when he could)

7. golden globes 2020, as her plus one

8. nmes 2020, as her plus one

9. He couldn’t be there at her graduation ceremony but he sent his whole family to support her. His mom was there for Taylor at atw premiere as well.

10. He also went to Paris during lover promo in 2019

These are all I can think of right now but i can confirm there are more events when he was there for her as a support system. During the span of six years he's been there for her from time to time. swifties like to paint him as a bad boyfriend when it's literally not true. I don’t see Taylor's athlete boyfriend joining her promotional work events and if I brought it up swifties will say tk has his own job restrictions. But where is the same energy when it's Joe who couldn’t attend her important events due to job restrictions as well? The tunnel vision of making Joe a villain and a bad boyfriend is so embarrassing, like they know it's not true. Also I hope taylor's very supportive boyfriend will keep up the same energy after six years (if he survives for that long lol)
