I have a very strong allegiance to losers and it’s frankly disturbing and it’s becoming more and more apparent as I slip further and further into the ghost hyperfixation.

"sister imperator won’t call copia his title because she doesn’t want to give him an ounce of respect/power!!!!!!!" she won’t call him by his title because she was bouncing on nihil’s dick while calling him papa and she does NOT need to associate copia with that

Analyses of Most Ghost Characters be like…
Terzo was a tragic and extremely deep figure who, based off observations provided by his ghouls and Bishop Necropolitis, was a brilliant mind whose ideas were bastardized and squandered, which resulted in a disappointed and bitter husk of a man who still made an effort to display kindness. However, we will likely never truly know the full story of who he was because he lied so damn often.
Most of how we perceive Secondo is arguably the result of Sister badmouthing him as well as ghouls being brutally candid about how he acted in interviews. However, there’s reason to believe Secondo might’ve been just as multifaceted as Terzo, in that he wasn’t being his complete self to the audience. There’s evidence that could suggest Secondo did not enjoy being Papa in its entirety so much as the perks, which were ironically also hindered by him being Papa at the end of the day. It’s not hard to interpret him as someone who might not have enjoyed being a part of the bloodline at the end of the day because of what it meant he had to sacrifice.
Copia is a manchild, likely as a result of how he grew up: Orphaned, likely a social outcast, very likely undiagnosed. As a result, he might’ve become convinced that the only way to rise above it was to become someone worthy of adoration: Papa. But even after he ascended, his troubles didn’t stop: He had to learn his parentage, didn’t address the fact that his brothers were now dead, and spent the last few months he had with the woman he now knew was his mother dissociating because he developed a fear of death. This fear, mind you, that easily ties back into the theorized likelihood that he placed his self-worth into his success. And this is before getting into his willingness to be a puppet —
Papa Nihil’s complexities come in the form of his tendencies to escape reality and the consequences these brought. He was very likely an absent father, which would have had effects on his sons (say, attention-seeking tendencies; a distrust in authority; abandonment issues). In fact, the only things he seems to seek from his youth is his extremely short-lived music career and his unstable relationship with a woman who ultimately kept quiet about their son(s) they conceived together and ultimately played his lust and delusions against him to play nepotism. And by leaning into this, he got his own children killed. He only “became a father” after he died, and it’s sad that he actually seems his most lucid then. What’s all the more mind-boggling and makes you wonder about his tenure is his ability to be in the moment and try and convince Cardi to learn to do the same. It makes you curious: Was Nihil actually a good Papa when he wasn’t distracted?
Sister Imperator is willfully emotionally constipated and will justify it as being “for the good of the church”. She has definitely been affected by her decisions and what she’s done, from her relationship with Nihil to her giving up her babies and watching them at a distance, only interacting from a work standpoint. She lies, keeps secrets, has people killed off, all to tie her spawn into the position as Papa, which is curious considering her position means she’s already above the station of Papa. She does care about Cardi, but she doesn’t care for him the way he needs to be and, as a result, arguably only exacerbates his anxious tendencies. She’s an extremely interesting character but it’s so easy to water her down to just being manipulative and evil.
………………
Analyses of Primo —
Primo is fucking crazy man I don’t — Like, he might be a serial killer; he would punch a panda for profit; we aren’t even entirely certain he’s human like I would legit headcanon that Primo is a changeling and the fandom would run with it because what choice do we have, he honestly actually could be!!!

THIRTY-ONE DAYS OF GHOST ⛧ DAY ONE
first song you heard — Mary On A Cross
September 1969; Papa Nihil and the beginning of the Ghost Project take to the stage at the Whiskey a Go Go club in Los Angeles, under the watchful eye of Sister Imperator. Fifty-three years later, in Tampa, Florida, Papa Emeritus the Fourth performs Mary On A Cross, unaware that he is singing the story of his parents—and that of himself.

the actor who plays Papa Nihil is actually catholic and it's SO funny
INTERVIEWER: It's so funny to audition for this role, and you come in and they're probably showing you the whole outfit and saying "Hey, here's your character; it's very tongue-in-cheek Catholic, y'know, like making fun of the Pope a little bit." So did you have any second thoughts after landing this role? ALAN URSILLO: Absolutely. Well, number one: they didn't tell me about the uniform I was going to wear, or the costume I was going to wear. They didn't tell me I was going to be in full face paint makeup. And I'm going "OK, this is interesting." And they didn't tell me we were going to shoot it in a crypt, so I'm going "OK, this is real different." And so I said "OK, let's see what this is all about." And the script was- I thought was really funny and I could really get into the script and be this character. And yes, I had many second thoughts about it– so much so that I went to my priest and told him that I was doing this character. And he said "Are you an actor?" and I said "Yes." And he said "Is this a role?" and I said "Yes." And he said "Do you believe in evil and the Devil?" and I said "No." He said "Have fun with the part! It's a job." And here I am. And he blessed it, and here I am, I went forward with it. It was a lot of relief when I started to do the character then, because then I could be who I wanted to be as that and not feel sacrilegious or blasphemous or anything of that nature. Clergy Talk Podcast interview with Alan Ursillo (Papa Nihil) (July 5, 2024)

Do you ever think Copia cringes at having to sing Mary on A Cross because Nihil probably (read: DEFINITELY) banged his mother to this song and wrote it seemingly to praise her head game?
Poor fucker was probably conceived to that song.

Brethren - I am shocked. Socked and appalled that we could be so fickle - so goddamn frail - as to mourn the woman who gave the order for their demise. Never forget!

it's monumentally funny to me that nihil put out two (2) songs in the 60s and sister imperator saw him impulsively kiss another woman and immediately retired his ass like...she really said "lol you're done. you're done."

Ch 6 really gifted us with the weird ass family dynamic that copia has with his parents.
Giving sister dead flowers that he more than likely found outside on a bush
The awkward introduction
Telling sister her accident did her wonders
Shushing her like a toddler does their mom so they can guess what's happening with literally no context
Making weird little noises and hand motions to stim
Making irritated looks at his dad
Both of them forgetting sister at the end; only for nihil to look at copia like "really!?"

Ghoul Clergy Au(Species Swap): Hands!!
Copia(Fire/Air): Has beans! They're very sensitive so he very rarely takes his gloves off. The pads glow a pretty cyan. Has to be careful because his hands get very hot very easily, he’s given up trying to hide the burnt handprints that end up all over his furniture. His claws match his skin tone, but he likes painting them too. Copia has a bad habit of biting his nails, so they tend to be all uneven. Eventually his human ghouls catch wind of this and set off on a journey to help him stop. Dewdrop ends up being the only one allowed to take his gloves off, so Dewdrop is the one that offers to help him clip them and keep them filed down. It becomes a special routine for just the two of them.
Terzo(Quint/Air): Has beans but very subtle ones. Look more like calluses than anything else. Slightly textured. He also has he sharpest claws of the group and keeps them very well maintained. (He has a fancy cat scratching post in his room. Omega laughs the first time he sees it.) He has gold claws, and his pads are also a very faint shimmery gold.
Secondo(Water): No beans, but as a water ghoul, his scales cover his wrists and part of the backs of his hands. He also has webbed fingers. Is the only Papa that can't wear gloves unless glamoured because of this. Secondo's claws are better suited for breaking rather than piercing (think like a crab or lobster claw, for breaking open shells) His are probably the most durable.
Primo(Earth): No beans. But the backs of his hands are covered in soft fuzz. He has black claws that are almost blunt at the ends, but very very strong. Primo just disappears outside and comes back with his claws worn down. No one really knows what he does. (He digs. Dead ass. He finds a cave and claws the rock. He also fucking climbs. Like a mountain goat. No one who has seen it lived to tell the tale, as it's usually when he's hunting)
Nihil(Originally Water/Air): Has beans! Size is somewhere in between Copia and Terzo. Has scales on the backs of his hands like Secondo, but no webbing. He has to get his claws clipped for his own safety really but that does not stop him from being absolutely pissed about it every time. Just picture Nihil hissing and spitting like a cat while Sister calmly clips his nails for him. Just thrashing around while simultaneously keeping his hand still because he knows if he makes her mess up he'll get his ass whooped. Although before his elemental loss he was probably the diva that clawed the ministry doorways just to make sure someone knew they pissed him off. His claws used to be semi translucent and sparkly.
Sister Imperator(Fire/Quint): Queen of beans. Hers are a bit leathery, but they also glow a light green like Copia's! Hers also used to be sensitive but she powered through until it didn't bother her anymore. Probably has the best kept claws next to Terzo. She routinely files hers and they are razor sharp.
Psaltarian(Quint): Has very calloused beans. Upon further inspection they are a dark purple, but mostly blend with his skin. Clips his own claws, but also has a scratching post in his nest to properly file them down. His claws are black, with a slight metallic sheen to them.
