Again without counting Echoes (mutichapter), 112 fics in total out of which 9 are multichapters... I was the king of oneshots apparently xD

Technically the longest is Echoes with 262,310 words but since it don't count -- The Queen Of Thorns And Roses (The Spanish Princess) with 37,196. The shortest is Pregnancy (Vikings: Valhalla) with 348...

The most popular going by hits, Holy Water (The Witcher, DD:DNE) with 1921. By kudos and bookmarks, In Due Time (The Witcher) with 130 kudos and 25 bookmarks! Counting the private ones too at least.

bound by flesh, freed by blood by @vveissesfleisch (Our Flag Means Death) is the kind of gory, sexy, messy DD:DNE I love most despite knowing virtually ntohing about its fandom, ahah!

polish the blood and the bruise by @underragingwaves (Vikings + Vikings Valhalla) has excellent character dynamics, little details all throughout, and superb military jargon

The Morning Doesn't Reach Us by crushcandles (The Witcher) is exhilarating, I love my Witchers poly and feral, and this fic delivers!

May He Rest In Pieces by geekinthepink (Outlander, DD:DNE) revived my love for horror stories and darkfics, plus I love the Murder Husbands trope

sci-fi: do androids dream of electric sheep - philip k dick. on account of that's the only sci-fi i can remember actually reading. fun fact, ive attempted to watch blade runner (1982) at least three times and every time ive fallen asleep!

contemporary/romance: does gillian flynn count as contemporary? she's my wife, i love her. also i feel like these are two completely disparate genres why are they slashed here

historical fiction: does jude the obscure count? tbh i don't care. i just remember being in high school english and all the girlies were swooning over the scarlet pimpernel and at the time i was a cringe baby weaboo who only watched anime so now i have petty beef with "historical fiction" as a genre and it also doesn't help that i've never really been interested in historical stuff much anyway (though i'm willing to have my mind changed)

fantasy: this is totally a copout answer but... grimm's fairytales. the problem is this is such a fraught genre for me because spiritually it's my favorite genre but practically the vast majority of it sucks. or i guess i should say it isn't to my taste. sorry.

queer: on earth we're briefly gorgeous - ocean vuong has some immense staying power, so that i guess. i do want to say that i dont actually know what this means? like written by a queer person? contains queer perspectives? has queer characters in it?????

But as for my story oh my gosh it really is a story. My ult group is Kingdom! They're pretty small and just debuted last year so idk if you know them but they've got one of the most amazing concepts I've ever seen! I'd definitely check out their title tracks if you have time :) they just had a comeback on March 31 🤩 but anywaysssss I write on their fancafe twice a day! I send a message to all members in the morning with pictures of my gecko (he is my whole world so I am making him their whole world as well lol) and then in the night I write to one member. There are 7 members so each member has their own day of the week that I write to them :) Originally I was just going to write to my bias (Arthur!) but I had things I wanted to tell every member so I was like it's fine I'll just write them each once a week. So last week on Monday I wrote a letter to Louis as scheduled. Louis was my bias wrecker for the longest time but since this comeback I think I double bias 🥴 and this was the first letter I was sending him since their comeback came out so I was like ahh you did such a great job and I talked about what parts of his I liked the best and all that so the next day I wake up and see I have a notification on the fancafe and I was like 😳 no freaking way there's no way but milky I literally opened the message and there on my letter to LOUIS OKAY IT WAS MY LETTER TO LOUIS.. Arthur commented DNENJEJWNW I was like oh my god he knew I got bias wrecked and is trying to sabotage Louis jdjsjs on the man's own letter- the audacity jdjsjs but it was so weird like he did the menpa and commented on a bunch of messages addressed to him (as is expected) except for my random Louis letter. Idk if he got confused bc I put a blue heart in the title (it's my favorite color) and a lot of people have been doing that on posts to him bc he has blue hair rn but I mean in the title of the post I said Louis' name and I addressed the letter to Louis so basically idk what man was on when he decided to respond to it but regardless I'm so touched. This is the first time I've had like a real interaction with an idol before so I was over the moon especially because out of all 7 it was my bias! I do get kinda embarrassed when I think about it tho bc he read me being all simpy over Louis but 🥴🥴🥴 I'm thriving I really am we love that jfjejej Kingdom is chaos if you couldn't tell 🤩 anyways this message is so long now I really rambled there but I hope that was funny for you to read bc I laugh when I think about it lol not sure if I said it in the last message but hope you're having a good day/night! 💙 (oh and here is what he wrote! it's not a very good memory but it's a very strong one. i had come back to the apartment at 2:30 in the morning after my shift and he had locked me out again so I waited in my car until I remembered the 24 hour coffee shop and I hung out over there for an hour before feeling weird and going back to the complex and falling asleep in the parking lot. anyway I listened to this song on the drive and I had many many thoughts.

not really a song but zeldawave ii has been my default background noise for a while. the transition from the astronomy tower to the meeting with the mayor is lovely. highly recommended.
