If you’re setting off fireworks in a heavily populated area on a Sunday night (or at all imo), there’s a special place in hell for you

Another way to look at it is that we've all been living a nightmare for the past 4 years and just fooled to believe otherwise for the longest time. Nothing has changed, and nothing will unless the collective finally decides we've had enough. However, most people aren't ready nor willing to believe that. Not to mention our money has been going towards the slaughtering of people in other countries for years and years, without a cent given back to us. Broken country, but the system is working as intended to. For the complex, NOT for the people. Many of us really don't know how lucky we are to have the problems we do. You'll wake up tomorrow, just as you did today, no threat of imminent life-ending danger looming, while citizens of other nations die, funded by OUR TAX MONEY. We all need to assess our privileges, even at the smallest level.
Thank you for the privilege check and perspective. It is outrageous that regardless of who won, our taxes would continue to fund wars and genocide. The Democratic party brought this on themselves by continuing to support genocide, refusing to listen to the people, and moving the party further right with every election, but of course the blame will be put on third party voters (despite the math not mathing). The USA is a fucking joke and I’m ashamed to be part of it.

I always figured when I got older, God would sorta come into my life somehow.
He didn't.
I don't blame him.

hey fang! what are ur thoughts on the us? thinking of moving to nyc or sumn from sydney but im idk any americans and i’m south-asian and i wanna how the vibes are over there
in general this is hard for me to answer because the united states is so incredibly culturally diverse. like. dkhfhakjsf. the east coast is so so vastly different from the west coast which is so so vastly different from like my part of the midwest. like truly this is impossible to answer but ill say for the most part i am more fond of the us then i am critical of it. i am very thankful that i grew up as a diaspora kid.
if not for the constant thread of danger i would probably like it more hjshdjfsdj. i think the level of exposure you gain to different cultures and cuisines living in any major city is a really unique and good part of america that im deepy fond of. like the diversity and amount of places you can go rules and the sense of genuine individualism you are allowed to have is liberatin
depending on what kind of south asian u are though u will find a lot of community in diff parts which is cool. and also mexican food. like if you come for nothing else lol
ive never lived outside of the states but i have traveled to other countries and im always happy to come back home if that gauges anything. idk if i recommend living here permanently but it is worth the experience to live here for a bit i think

My USAmericans friends I have a very genuine question here... After so many YouTube short and some personal experience with people from the USA I have a question... That might sound a bit harsh but I just don't know how to phrase it better lol no offense
Do your schools teach you something about the rest of the world? I mean, world history or geography?
Cause a few American people I know told me their schools only teach American history (even like when they're studying WW2).
And like, for someone who had two mandatory history classes in school: Russian history and world history, - and a mandatory geography class at which we were learning a great deal about world geography too, it's kinda pretty baffling to me lol
And that geography is not a mandatory class????
