Hey! I'm sorry for the loss of some followers, but personally I like all those rants 😄! It's just what I need I guess... I didn't hate tlj as much as you, I was just... don't know, disappointed, frustrated, especially about rey*lo and the lack of rey/finn/poe scenes. And after watching the movie, seeing all those media rooting for this relationship disturbed me, made me questionning myself, because now everyone want it and it still makes me uncomfortable... anyway, thank you, tank you a lot!!!

you are so welcome!!! i appreciate you saying this bc i know people are probably getting annoyed with me (see losing 40 followers) but yeah i do feel strongly about this!! i’ve cooled down quite a bit since spoilers came out, but then i’ll see a post making a good point and i have to reblog it. like many have said but the reactions to the characters are very telling. i cant get over the fact that this movie has people disregarding/ignoring Finn due to its treatment of him, has people hating Poe, took a character and called him Luke Skywalker for their own agenda, and like you said has people ROOTING for such a disgusting ship!!! i could maybe handle what they did with the ship bc in the end rey cut him off and looked way more herself and AT HOME with finn than any other part of the movie. (i’d still be pissed that it was in there in the first place but…) now we’ve got articles upon articles of people contemplating and rooting for this ship ALSO while praising how ~feminist~ the movie was and ignoring finn and honestly rey as a character herself and dragging poe through the mud which contradicts everything they’re saying. we also have rian fucking johnson liking tweets about ~romantic tension~ and i’m seriously gonna fight this guy like turn on your location rian.

i have kids at work who were so excited last week, and i hate the messages this movie is sending to them. i have kids who would see themselves in the actual trio not kyle ron. i do not need the media endorsing these messages to my kids. they deserve better.

anyways, yes you are completely valid in feeling uncomfortable with how the media is portraying re//ylo, and my blog will be here to give many reasons why.

so i knew this was probs gonna be bad bcs most fan accts on insta are k/ylo stans and re/ylo shippers (who literally almost never acknowledge the other characters) and lo and behold i caused this person to Discourse

“ky/lo r/en [...] is a main character” uhhh ya, he’s the main fucking villain i know he’s an important character, he’s just not a protagonist!!! thats all this meme is saying!!!!! he’s an antagonist, i literally acknowledged this in my caption on the original post but op conveniently left that out, and honestly even if he redeems himself, he’s done enough to qualify as an antagonist, like v/ader isnt a protagonist even tho he redeemed himself...and we dont even know if he’s getting redemption, like there may be evidence supporting it but theres also evidence against it and tbh its worrisome to see how delusional some ppl are (this is abt both sides of the argument tbh)

pps completely unrelated the comment section somehow lead to them saying this was disneys fault and that disney ruined their properties like ???? disney is literally the most successful film company rn, they literally brought in 1 billion last year from movies alone and the mcu is literally the highest earning film franchise ok sorry i just thought that was so ridiculous
