“We can’t just allow this to happen!” Green Lantern demanded. “If this just goes on, then what example are we supposed to be setting?! And Batman, how come you never told us that you worked with a literal crime lord?!”

Superman looked despondent. “I heard that he killed hundreds of people and once put decapitated heads into a bag. Batman… why were we not informed?”

Batman was silent. It was Flash who asked, “Wait, what’s going on?”

Green Lantern turned to him and said, “Spooky over here has a son that he never told us about that bailed out his partner that we captured! Wolf was ready for interrogation when the Red Hood came and took her out! Wolf is one of the most biggest figures in the underworld right now! Even if Red Hood’s your son, why did you just let him go with Wolf?!”

Phantom suddenly spoke up for the first time. His tone was very curt. “I’m sorry, did you just say ‘Wolf’?”

Everyone paused. Phantom was young, yes, but no one could deny his power and strength. If it wasn’t his raw power on the battlefield, it was his experience as king and god that made everyone pause in place to listen.

Green Lantern looked sullen but nodded. “Yes, Wolf. Y’know, the bombshell in all black leather, wearing a helmet, taller than 6 feet?”

Phantom’s gaze grew cold. “When did you capture her?”

Superman asked, “Do you know her?”

Wonder Woman suddenly spoke up. “We captured her only a few hours before she was broken out of the interrogation room. She faced no harm, but she did mention someone during her stay here. She mentioned that her little brother would have words with us if we hurt her…. Is her little brother you?”

Everyone’s eyes widened. Phantom scowled. “That’s right. Wolf is my big sister, and while it is partially my fault that you were not aware of her status, I know her very well. She must’ve tried to argue for herself, didn’t she? Did you lock her up even when she tried to talk you out of it? Did you let her speak at all or did you just throw her straight into the room to be interrogated?”

Wonder Woman’s eyes widened in guilt. “I—!”

Even Martian Manhunter winced.

Phantom growled and stood up. “As you know, my people and I came here to this world for diplomatic reasons to learn from and protect this place. It is my fault for not telling you about my sister’s identity, but I am sorely disappointed by how you handled this situation. As heroes, you should’ve been willing to listen and hear her out, even if you believed that she was a criminal.”

Frost began to form under his fingertips before they receded as the Ghost King forcibly calmed himself. “My decision is this: the Red Hood has done nothing wrong by protecting my sister. Since they are both my citizens, I will do my best to protect them and I say that we cease this persecution. I owe the Red Hood many debts, so if we continue this idea and you insist on capturing both of them… do not blame me if I pick a fight with you all to protect my people.”

Stunned silence.

After all, what could they say to that? After he just dropped several bombs at once?

Everyone agreed to his demands. After all, no one was really that suicidal to hunt down the man who was owed debts by the Ghost King and said Ghost King’s sister.

Another series of stories I want to tell in drabbles and screenshots of Sawyer and Amesha’s WoL AU

To name a few. That’s not even mentioning all the RPs I have untouched because work burned me out so bad last year.

I want to focus more on pursuing RP or just musing stories with other people. I want to get a newer character, Ivih, out there. I want to get Sif and Dug to Shaaloani to fall into a new chapter of their saga. I want to kill my villain character in a sick as hell spy thriller-meets-fantasy arc. I want to tie loose ends, become comfortable with writing physical intimacy of ANY degree again ffs, I want to reach out more with proper boundaries in place.

What all this comes down to is less about not having people to reach out to (I’m pretty fortunate to have so many!) and more about not having time, focus, and confidence. I know my ideas have merit, but putting them into practice is another thing. That’s the real indulgence there.

This is one of my favourite oc/wol qotd posts to make because I do think it paves the way for positive interactions and the like—so!

If you could have one self-indulgent thing in your writing/roleplay/characterisations right now, what would it be and why? This could be something as simple as 'I wish I had the confidence to post x work' or 'I wish I could roleplay x and y but I would need [insert character type here] to make it work' or even 'I'd love to find x community but I'm not sure if it even exists'.

Ive been thinking about my witch's road au idea of Lena travelling the road with the other covenless witches. Some of the new thoughts include Lena being so new to the craft and culture that she doesn't understand that a ton of witches believe the road is real, she just thought it was witchy tune. Another thought is that she and Jen kind of bond as business women in their ways, and just kind of being generally the same age.

And then I was thinking about Lena's trial. Like, technically she's there as the green witch (don't ask me why Rio would still be there also, she just would be), but her trial is about her family-- or perceived lack thereof. She's presented specters of her family, both adopted (the Luthors) and found (the superfriends), but neither truly satisfies her desire for true family, do they? Her need for belonging, for heritage, for a link to her mother.

And through the trial Lena comes into her own as a true witch, as she comes to the realization that her magic not only ties her to her mother, but to every witch in their family prior, and to all the covens they belonged to. She is bonded with them whether she knows it or not, whether she can see them or not-- they are there, guiding her hands and shaping her spells. They are many become one, and she is the one.

I also imagine that after she succeeds at her trial, she's full of power and confidence. Her new understanding seems to transcend her into something greater than she was before, a witch not only in her own right but with the power of those who had come before, who linger still.

So when the Salem Seven catch up with them at the end of Lena's trial, Lena is perfectly at ease when she tells the others to go and leave her behind.

"What? No!" Jen declares. "No, we do this together."

"My contribution to the road is done," Lena says, zenlike. She smiles. "The rest is up to you."

"The seven will kill you, Lena! No one witch can stand against them!"

"Then it's good I'm not facing them alone," Lena returns blithely. "Go."

Jen ultimately obeys, leaving Lena to face their pursuers alone. But as Lena says: she is not alone. With the group's path at her back, Lena squares up against the animalistic witches calmly.

"Do you even remember why you're chasing Agatha?" Lena asks them.

"Vengeance...." one hisses.

"For deaths you don't remember, if you ever saw it happen at all. Do you remember why Agatha killed them?"

The Seven twitch and scritch, unable to remain still. They study her, as predators would watch their prey. Lena meets their gazes calmly.

"Abandon your revenge," she prods, "and resume your lives. Or what little remains of them."

"Neverrrrr!" comes the answering rattle.

As one, the Salem Seven lash out with their magic, intending to catch Lena unawares. But as she'd spoken Lena had woven a shield of spectral roots and vines around her, seething and intertwining like living thing. It shields her from every attack at every angle, giving her power time to build.

Her magic gathers between her palms, pouring not only from herself, but from the others. From her mother, standing at her right shoulder, and her grandmother at her left. From their covens and the covens before them, stretching back through time until she pulls from the very earth itself.

Its radiance shines so brightly that the Seven barely have time to quail beneath it before it incinerates them entirely, their own magics far insufficient to protect them from the onslaught. After they flake away into dust, Lena holds onto the power for a moment longer, and turns to meet her mother's gaze.

"Thank you," she says to the spirit. "I love you."

Her mother's shade nods once, its smile warm with pride, before fading away with the rest of the magic that bleeds back into the earth.

Letting her hands drop to her sides, Lena studies the empty room around her, then turns towards the path she'd been protecting. A path that is now a solid wall, no door in sight.

"Great," Lena grumbles. "Now how the hell do I get out of here?"

Hermitcraft/Life series Doctor who au where Scar is the Eleventh doctor, It's perfect and then we make the hermits and lifers be people they meet,

Cause I'm a sucker for scarian I'm gonna say grian would be River Song, It makes a lot of sense in the long run cause of the whole river song being the one who kills the doctor and all that shabang,

I dunno who would have more chemistry as Amy and Rory though because we would have to consider Amy's whole in love with the doctor arc and then you have to consider which hermits would fit as Grians parents

Look I was given this idea. I'm not holding back on all the important details, not to mention I think Mumbo would be a great 10th doctor or 12th doctor, but I'm getting side tracked.

Ok so Imma think for a sec cause I'm typing this out as I have the ideas

Amy would be Lizzie and we would remove the whole romantic arc Amy would have, or not depends of what you want I'm not to bothered

Obviously this means Rory would be Joel which I think is perfect, because Joel and Lizzie would follow each other till the edge of the universe and beyond. I could totally see Scar getting overly attached to them both.

Though it is a bit weird to think that, jizzie being Rory and Amy would mean Grian is their son and I think thinking about it too much might make me just as confused as the actual show did.

The Silence would still be the same except they're kinda this universes watchers/listeners.

Madm Korariam would be Cleo (the eye patch lady that took river) which means they're the bad guy but that's OK she'd be a good villain and it would suit her character kinda (if anyone has a better suggestion maybe mention it)

Jimmy and Scott would be those Gay Worker Dudes we see in A Good Man Goes to War

The Pandorica Opens, so Joel would definitely wait the time Rory did to protect the Pandorica. He gives the same vibes.

I think Gem and Pearl would be Madam Vastra and Jenny, Strax would be Impulse as was suggested to me and o can totally see it, they have a similar vibe

Now I'm going to go back to Twelve for a second cause Mumbo would definitely be Twelve, he gives off the same vibe,

Blood Blossom Au: Baby's First Commissioner Meeting :)

TL:DR This Post: Danny (orphan) gets poisoned with blood blossom extract by Vlad. He runs away from him and ends up under the care of one Pre-Robin Battinson Batman! Starry is loudly pushing her batdad agenda.

This was a fun rough idea I've been sitting on for weeks, thinking about how Commissioner Gordon and Nightingale's first meeting might go.

Commissioner Gordon likes to think that he's adjusting to the new normal of Gotham very well, -- the new normal being grown men running around dressed like bats, in military-grade strength body armor, committing acts of vigilantism, -- and slowly, little by little, he was no longer being surprised when this new normal pops up out of the shadows like the world's most terrifying daisy. His shaving lifespan thanks him for it.

The kid is a surprise though.

Granted, he seemed to be a surprise to the Bat too.

There's been a string of murders lately, -- which, in Gotham, is kind of like saying there's been another storm during monsoon season. And there's just been another; in some dilapidated building down in south Gotham, with the broken, boarded-up windows and mildew-crawling walls to match. The victim is a man in his thirties, multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, left in the center of the room for the blood to pool out around him.

The place is already secured when he arrives, the building swarmed with officers and the forensic detectives. The Bat emerges shortly after he does -- or, he might've been here the whole time, hiding someplace dark and shadowy. For his own sanity, Gordon doesn't think about it too hard.

The kid is a surprise, and he appears like a bolt of lightning.

He shows up in the middle of a conversation Gordon is having with the Bat.

A whistle, sharp and loud, slicing through the air, meant for open air rather than a confined space. Gordon's ears pierce and protest the sound, and the solemn, murmured chatter floating through the room abruptly cuts off like the swing of a gavel. As he turns towards the sound -- as they all do -- he swears, up and down, that he sees Batman's shoulders jump, just slightly.

At the source, perched on the window, is a boy. A boy in a gray-blue scarf and an oversized black hoodie, one that hangs off his frame and has ace bandages wrapped around the wrists in some attempt to cinch the sleeves. The hood is up, big like the rest of it, and threatens to swallow the upper half of the boy's face whole in the fabric. What upper half Gordon can see, is smeared with some kind of opaque, black face paint. He's holding onto the side of the frame with one hand, on his hip is a grappling hook. A familiar grappling hook.

Gordon has multiple questions, and his officers tense up.

Martinez puffs up, brows furrowing as his face shapes into a frown. Shoulders rolling back. "You can't be here, kid--"

The reaction is immediate, like a spark to gunpowder, the boy yanks his fingers from his mouth and his mouth twists into a scowl. Head snapping over to Officer Martinez, his hood manages to stay on but Gordon swears that as he bares his teeth, the glint makes them look sharper than they should be. His voice is rasp and quiet and harsh; snappish in its hissing; "Put a fuckin sock in it, Martinez. I'm not stayin."

Martinez reels back, and the boy immediately veers his attention off him. Like a switch, his demeanor drops. Despite half his face being covered, his mouth twists into a cringing, apologetic smile. Slanted and off-beat, embarrassed. It'd be disarming if this wasn't Gotham, and if he didn't just hiss at Martinez like he was about to bite his head off.

"Sorry." He whispers, voice deceptively polite and softer now. Gordon has to strain his ears to hear him. "I was looking for him."

He points his finger towards-- Gordon? No, Gordon follows the direction, and finds himself looking at -- the Bat.

The Bat, who always looks stiff as a pole, now looks even stiffer. Somehow. Well, the explains the grappling hook attached to the boy's waist.

"What are you doing here?" The Bat says, gruff and unable to completely smother the stumble of surprise in his tone.

The boy still holds a sheepish smile, and slips off the window ledge. His feet hit the creaky boards with a near-silent thud, the Batman finds his feet and rapidly begins crossing the room.

Gordon notes the slight tremble in the boy's legs as he straightens. He adjusts his scarf, which droops close to his knees now that he's standing, and slings a backpack -- how long has had that? -- off his shoulders. When the Bat reaches his side, he does as he always does, and looms over the boy like a spectre. A threatening mass of shadows cloaked in all-consuming black. Standing next to him, the boy looks teeny in comparison.

The Bat is a man who terrifies even the most hardened criminals, Gordon has seen grown men shiver in fear at the mention of his name. And yet when the boy looks up at him, he doesn't even flinch.

Instead, his sheepish smile melts away like ice under the sun, holding only traces of his previous embarrassment. It remains as a shadow on his face, a small upturn at the corners of his mouth. The boy pushes his hood back just enough to reveal glinting, ice-flint eyes surrounded in tar-black face paint. He holds the backpack up with one arm. "You forgot this."

You're actually SO right. I've been thinking for a while now about how Atsushi, Kyouka, Dazai and Rampoe look like they come from Ace attorney sometimes. The others top, but these four mostly look like they would dit just right in.

Atsushi's will to save others like Dazai saved him remind me SO much of Phoenix motivations and goal. His unwavering fate is just like any AA lawyers toward their clients.

Kyouka is just SO weirdgirl codes. She's young and had been helped by Atsushi, is ready to help him in return and want to walk into the light. She have unconventional skills that she can use in her work, not always in the best way, and she's working under Atsushi's guidance so the two really look like a lawyer - assistant duo.

Dazai would be perfect as a more experimented lawyer/mentor. He give off the same vibe than the lawyer during the trial : everyone else think he's just fucking around but NO, everything have a sense. Hé can see lie easily and have proof to back up he's claim. He's smart, can bluff and would definitly bé as crazy as any AA character when it come to collect evidence. Hé would be more like Phoenix, post og trilogy (but less dad codes and more "what the Fuck is wrong with him" coded)

And Rampoe could just have some gameplay phase inspired by Herlock's. But instead of dancing with him in order to keep him focused, you just try to keep the whole thing entertaining/intresting for him by proposing idea so hé help you figurine a part of the case.

I never thought about putting the BSD character in AA, but did I thought about making some member of the ADA lawyer who defend skill user victim of their "gift" ? (The way Kyouka killed many but wasn't the one controlling Snow Demon, or how Atsushi can't be hold accountable for the damage he caused as a the white tiger because it was completely out of control)

Also it'll be funny to just. Godosaku.

Recently I realised that, at age 15, Trucy Wright was investigating on murder with Apollo, Nene Yashiro was working with a ghist and an exorciste to maintzin balance between the humans and the spirits in her school and Dazai and Chuuya were joining the mafia.

Like, I can't get This out of l'y head, NONE of them are doing 15y/o stuff (such as, going to school, not seeing dead body or rosking their life).

But then I realised. Trucy wouldn't be so bad in the Port Mafia if traines properly. I mean she canonically can throw and aim with precision a Moving target with knives. And let's 'ot forget she can use percieve, too.

So now I'm just thinking if I should just...Out some AA character into BSD. Just for fun and whimsy. Like...Some kind of cross-over idk they meet each other and solve (or commit !) crimes together or wathever.

I might draw them.

morgott works at a laundry mat. mohg wears ugly hawaiin shirts in black and red and is renting an airbnb for his cult. they still look exactly the same.

radahn watches my little pony and makes fan comics of him meeting pinkie pie. rykard is on grindr with his wife "looking for a 3rd". ranni has like 20 guns and has an obsession with thrifting for porcelain dolls.

In exile, c!Dream spoke about immortalisation once I’m pretty sure unless it was a joke the cc made about killing and reviving again and foreshadowed it but it’s possible c!Dream either had used the book around the time or was just knew that it could revive and kill people but wow does it change a lot of c!staged only tested the book after prison arc and I believe it for the most part. Except in finale when c!tommy tells c!punz about how he tried offing himself, c!dresm tells him that he could have revived him. Doesn’t this imply c!dream knew about how the book worked around that time or is he telling him he would have tested the book on him even without knowing it worked, or revived him later on after the lazar vikk experiments. What do you think ?

I mean he had the revival book and even if he didn’t know 100% if it worked he could still be thinking about immortality and such… though hard to say much about the scene without knowing the context and I don’t feel like going on a hunt for it at the moment, but I’ve not seen that moment used as evidence for people’s opinions on the revival book experiment timeline so I’m gonna probably say it’s not of super importance…

As far as the finale goes, firstly I like to as always point out that Dream is saying something to Tommy so already we should put our speculation hats on, because if there’s one person he’s especially know for lying to, it’s Tommy. Secondly, context is super key. In this instance [clip], Tommy is trying to play at Punz’s humanity with his sob story, hoping to make him see how much of an evil monster Dream is [clip]. So, Dream is coming to his own defense of like - Are we supposed to feel bad for you? Does that really make me a bad person if I can bring you back and undo it? (as an aside, here’s that logical vs. emotional reasoning again btw for all those who read my essay)… but anyways, the point isn’t really about whether he could or would have brought him back then or later, it’s more so him highlighting that Tommy is being over dramatic and it wasn’t that big of a deal… if that makes sense. It’s about minimizing Tommy’s feelings, while also adding defense to his own actions. Notice he doesn’t tell Tommy about how he knew he screwed up and went back to check on him [clip], it’s not about what actually happened but about how in the grand scheme of things it’s inconsequential, a theme he and Punz continue to highlight in these streams.

Later, Dream brings up the tower again, this time saying more so almost like the opposite, “You had your—your tower moment right? But—let’s say… that it happened…What you would have been in your limbo—forever? You would have been fine with that? You would have been fine with leaving—Tubbo behind and all of your friends and… You keep saying ‘oh yeah—you know, you can enjoy the moments’ you can enjoy the moments while still being Alive...” [clip]. Notice it’s not about the actual event but using that event to highlight a larger point. Tubbo and Tommy keep berating Dream the whole time for messing with the natural order and playing with death - what’s dead should stay dead… yada yada. And Dream, just like how he called out how inconsequential Tommy and his gripes are, now uses that same things to highlight clingy duo’s hypocrisy… I’m really hoping that makes sense. In other words, it doesn’t matter - it was never about whether he did or didn’t actually have the book or ability back in Exile, it was about using it as a point of reference for Tommy to understand his reasoning…….

Hypothetically speaking though, if we just imagine for a moment Tommy did go through with the pillar: I think Dream might have tried to use the revive book on him whether it had been pre-tested or not. Not only because I think, Dream isn’t heartless and might feel bad about it. But also I think it’d be a great opportunity to gain favor with Tommy as his savior and the rest of the server… huh there’s another AU idea: Dream tries to drive Tommy to suicide in Exile so he can resurrect him and become loved by Tommy and the server again… (I’m sure that wouldn’t backfire or anything…)

Oh man, I feel you on the Medstar books. And I, too, love to work them into my fics as often as possible. That and The Approaching Storm for good measure. It's also important that she was at Umbara.

Now that I finished the Medstar books later night, I just borrowed The Approaching Storm and plan on digging in to it!

I've been wanting to weave in the Umbaran Campaign into my story in some way beyond a simple mention, but I'm kind of stuck with no ideas on it rn unfortunately.

I wouldn't be surprised if they retcon it completely, but I also want to add her imprisonment on Felucia and subsequent rescue by Aayla shortly after her Knighting (since it's still considered to be canon in some way?). Of course the Legends story of it doesn't match with canon in any significant way so I would make major changes to it so it could fit into the timeline properly, but I feel like it could be a major turning point for her mentally—like the final nail in the coffin (or close to it) leading up to the Temple plot.

I have a lot of ideas and I really want to start writing it out, but at the same time I'm overly worried about characterization and it's completely stopping any progress. I really want to talk through my ideas before I work on it, but I don't really know anyone to talk to here other than my friend (who I assume would be willing to listen but she doesn't really know Barriss beyond looking over my shoulder while I was crying over TOTE).

Idk it's just super important to me that I do it well bc I love her character so much and I want to do right by her especially when she is so misunderstood
