AHHHH sorry ive been so busy! Just got to see my mom for the first time in half a year and christmas had me running around like a chicken without a head 😭😭 heres the Savanaclaw boys Genshin edition!

Leona just might be the laziest yet the most cunning member of the Children of Echoes! Hardly a time the other members of the tribe dont see him lounging about on the surface, soaking in the sun! Yet he somehow always stays on point with his work and skills.

I thought Geo suited him perfectly and was the closest reference to his unique magic as a vision! And Polearm because its similar to the main choice of weapon in the Sunset Savannah ! I dont imagine hes related to the chief or anything but perhaps his family is a long line of warriors who have held ancient names of especially famous fighters but Leona perhaps didnt get one? So hes ostracized from his family despite his hard work and dedication growing up. I like to think he actually gives Kachina tips on her training, part of him is jealous that she has an ancient name yet is so meek but he sees how people treat her regardless and grows a soft spot for her!

Also totally hangs out with Xilonen, its the law now, they have to be besties. I wrote somewhere (where ever those notes are please return to me 😭😭) that if Mualani thinks hes being too rough and mean eith Kachina that she'll dump water on him- good luck Leona!

Ruggie i made a member of the Scions of the Canopy! It feels pretty fitting in my opinion? Theyre all about thrills and action over there, Id imagine Ruggies slick nature and jack of all trades talent would be perfect for them!

Hes pretty easy going but that doesnt mean he wont try to swindle a traveller or two for some money or food while they travel to the city- ah but leave it to Kinich! He'll make sure to set him straight whether he likes it or not. Those two grew up together after all! Now i wasnt sure why, but Pyro sword felt perfect for him! Does he have an ancient name? I havent decided yet, if he does itd make for an interesting dynamic between him and Leona? 🤔 If he didnt then theyd both be two pouty babies about it XD

Lastly, Jack! Who if you mightve noticed ISNT from Natlan! Instead I chose to reference his childhood home (didnt do that for everyone ofc- but its fine-) and I made him from Snezchnaya instead!

Oh and yes, he is a fatui member! He resides under Capitanos command though which is how he finds himself in Natlan for the mean time! The Captain's Blood Hound is what they call him amongst the troops. Fiercely loyal and strong to boot! No matter what Capitano chooses to do with his mission, if he sticks to the Tsaritsa or trades sides for his homeland, Jack will follow him without a moments hesitation. Definitely a soldier the others look up to! Some say theyve seen him spar almost on the same level as a certain Harbinger near the same age as him! Or that he is long time friends with the late La Signora's right hand, Vil (*wink wink* just a small sneak there for you guys to look forward to-)

Safe to say he quickly becomes a legend among the regular fatui soldiers. Same as Ruggie, I went with a vibe and his vibe said Cryo Claymore! Claymore for such an obvious reason- cryo itself tends to be in relation to family and loyalty (if you squint-) so it clicked in my brain, it could add to possible backstory you might hear whenever i get to his final copy!

And currently as final copies go, theyre gonna take much longer to do since theyre my complete artstyle and ive also decided i hate myself enough to attempt designing personal weapons as well! It will only be flats color, rendering would take even longer- but this way if there are any other artists who wanna do fanart they could color drop the flat colors perfectly! Hey I noticed you said you were getting mean asks so I wanted to give you a nice one to counteract it! You have an amazing cute artstyle that lends so well to the horror aspect as it's so deceiving. The fluffiness of the designs is adorable and your Pinkie Pie is LITERALLY the cutest Pinkie I've ever seen (and I've been in the fandom since like 2011)!!! I love the queer rep too! Esp the polyamory. Rarely have I ever seen polyamorous mlp content in the past over a decade, so it's such a treat to see.

Something I've found so interesting with these horror MLP AUs is how much the bury your gays trope (sorta) happens. Normally it'd be a problem but in these AUs there's literally SO many other queer characters that it almost feels like queer folk are almost reclaiming the trope? It's fascinating to see!

Another thing I love with your AU is the focus on background ponies and OCs (but with the inclusions of that adorable Pinkie Pie). Usually in terms of bg ponies all you see in these AUs are Redheart, Cherilee, Derpy, Dr. Hooves, Lyra, and Bonbon imo. There's nothing wrong with any of them, but they're the main ones I've seen. So it's extremely refreshing to see characters other people haven't really used! It's unique!

At some point I might draw some fanart of your characters if I get the energy, I love them a lot even if I have trouble remembering names sometimes.

ive gone through a LOT of art phases to get here, so im really glad that wasnt all for naught i cant find the pics of most of them, but my art used to be like unrealistic.. realism think anime but distinctively not an anime art style (more rigid; bigger limbs and stuff. i thought it was the shit but honestly it was sorta goddawful) & there was the "overly cute with dark undertones art style" my friend loved it alot so once we stopped really talking i stopped drawing like it i cant find any of those pictures right now but if i wanted to i could then there was the actual anime-ist art ive made overall

i have pictures from then cause it honestly wasnt that long ago i still like it but im comfortable with my current. 2. the type i post here and the type i keep to myself theres no special reason its just cause itd be really. jarring. cuz its genuinely nothing like my usual

hey there! thanks so much for liking my art of them :") it means a lot! and also thanks for wanting to know my opinion of the ship itself and not just the art, too! warms my heart.

short answer: the 4.1 archon quest did leave a bad taste in my mouth, yes, but i got over it and realized wow. i love wrioney so much and i would rather have this than any other cookie cutter "perfect/wholesome" dynamic

long answer/explanation under cut!

first off, pre-4.1 wrioney's setup was just too good for me to pass up and hit all my fav points. cat (chat noir) + dog (cerberus) dynamic??? criminal x prison warden???? wriothesley's tareme eyes to lyney's upturned ones? cute! not to mention i liked how their color palette matched more than the other popular ships. they seemed like they were made for eachother. we also had 0 crumbs for wrio's personality at that point so i assumed he'd be the serious to lyn's playful flirt.

shipping in this game to me has always been a bit on the shallower side, and thats fine! some of these characters never get to "grow" with dynamic character arcs really and remain "static" to have their profiles make sense when you pull for them. they can never be directly antagonistic to the player and have to be "redeemed" in some way. 76++ characters and not all of them get time in the spotlight, either. thats fine too.

that all changed when fontaine came out. and even more when 4.1 did.

wriothesley's personality was a joy. i love morally dubious and fun characters like him, the kinds that dont really fit into a "box" or trope!! genshin's good at making characters like that, just as they are good at the tropey ones. i also didnt mind that he canonically isnt above torturing, too. heck, i mean i love kamisato ayato who is basically what the game sets up as the male version of arlecchino + diluc burning an abyss mage and kazuha's tongue branding comment were one of my favorite moments. i thought wrio being cruel was very much in line for a prison warden. it made sense. what didn't make sense was the way the game needed to show this.

i loved lyney the moment i saw him in the travail trailer. his thing with his family another one of the best things to come out of genshin. fucked up orphans and found family who are villains? actually so good. but because they are what the game wants us to see as "unequivocable villains", they also get... disrespected in the story a lot?

the way i saw it, the game wanted us to see wrio as the "cool/badass hero!!!! wow your grace you're actually so kind for not killing them!!! see guys he just looks cruel and antagonistic but he's actually so morally good!!!also here's like 3 cutscenes of wrio looking cool ^_^" while lyney's treated like an "overemotional kid" really rubbed me off the wrong way. everything else was fine. i just got tired of the game insisting that the fatui are so bad no matter what and the rest are ""good"" when their whole thing in fontaine was doing away with the black and white morality. the devs seek to promote greyness but they cant even write that right?

what wrio did to them truly probably wasnt even the worst lyney and his siblings have been through, i know this for a fact. honestly wrio could have killed freminet and it'd have been like. reasonable for him. but he's a big softie who has a thing for lyney i think which is why he thought a lot about them not coming to physical harm.

but after once again accepting that midhoyo just wastes a lot of potential and reconciling the dynamic of past wrioney i had in mind (also uh. writing a fic of them for closure when i've never done anything of the sort before)... i realized theyre the best thing ever actually

enemies to lovers isnt always my cup of tea, but for context i shipped shuake before this so i feel like that primed me for this genshin ship in a way LMAO.. i actually must thank wrio for showing this new side of lyney, the viciously overprotective of his family side that i thought would never be shown, only alluded to. its mesmerizing.

and the thought that lyney, mr. masks and fake-smiles-that-dont-reach-his-eyes wouldnt bother to keep up pretenses with wriothesley anymore since he coaxed that darker side of him effortlessly? really nice.

even traveler who lyney notoriously charms and flirts with gets the mask immediately after the confrontation at the duke's office, the second lyney recharges with his siblings by his side. the beautiful thing about lyney's character is that he is always fake.

but with the duke? i wouldn't be so sure. maybe his real side, claws and bared teeth, comes to light with him and him only.

and that... goes back to the "character going through dynamic arcs" thing i mentioned in the beginning that genshin lacked. now i may be reaching for crumbs here, but i'm pretty sure this ship is the closest thing we'd get for lyney ever going through a character arc. wrio too. when i say they were "made for eachother" i think i realized that it's because they both have parallel backstories. i wont spoil too much for wrio's stories and voicelines, but it's safe to say wrio also has trouble with trusting others easily. something him and lyney can relate on lol. not to mention the orphan thing... ok i wont say more.

i love that their personalities clash so catastrophically. i love that i can never predict what genshin will do next with them. this all makes shipping them so fun. i have literally never had as much fun with shipping for this game since.... ever! really. as the game evolves, the character writing and by extension their interactions with eachother do too. and i'd say it's an improvement. i'm hopeful for the future :]

i just kinda do whatever but there's probably a lot of stuff subconsciously influencing me. i guess just examine cute art or really art in general. i cant really tell you how to get an art style like mine, but i can tell you what i use. big pens on aseprite. usually i use 2px pencil when sketching and then scale up and trace over w a 4px pencil for my normal art. for the big art i think i settled on a whopping 32px pencil w 4px sketches. i try to do stuff at least once a day so that's probably helping a bunch too, sometimes just some small doodles sometimes full art. dont feel pressured to pump stuff out though!! take breaks!!

umineko ep 5-6

now that i think about it only natsuhi only ever talked with kinzo. Wow they faked kinzo's death for over 1 year maybe almost 2 years. Oh of course natsuhi has witch potential everyone is a witch. Next it'll be revealed gouda is a demon, genji and kumasawa are already a demon and witch and shanon and kannon are familiars. Also i like gouda better he got union busted and then industry blacklisted! Beatrice really got written out of the narrative wow battler really did kill her soul probably should have just tried to win and checkmate instead.

There's probably going to be new characters all the way until the end. In some ways this makes thematic sense as umineko is a meta story about stories. So continuing to add increasingly outrageous and contrived characters highlights the fictionality of the story. But for that reason i also on a personal level dislike it it usually shows a writer's lack of confidence in that they need to keep adding characters to keep it interesting instead of building on existing characters and narratives and i prefer this style. Like this entire story outside of ep 1 is about witches rping their self insert ocs in a dnd campaign and i dont like it but that's what it is.

Also i'm gonna say the character designer sucks and the characters designs lack style. You can see a lot of japanese lolita inspired fashion but it's all ugly lolita can be very cute and elegant, a dollesque delicate antique charm but these designs are all just so uninspired and boring. I'm imagining a bette universe were the devs for financial release actually hired a good character designer to redesign everyone. And I do mean design not art the ps3 sprites are fine art wise even if i don't especially like the style but it's the designs im complaining about.

Kraus really is an idiot. It was obscured just how bad his business decisions were in ep1 because it's from narsuhi's narration but wow signed over power of attorney and the house horribly in debt as marcie says "they're larping rich people". Natsuhi really puts up with so much with kraus. this is actually fairly common for irl rich people, any middle class family would be bankrupt 10 times over from bad decisions they only arent because the family is rich to begin with. Making money when you are rich is really easy so the fact that kinzos kids haven't made money or even lost some shows how incompetent they are. 1.01 of 100 is 101 or a gain of 1. 1.01 of 1000000000 is 1010000000 or a gain of 10000000.

The epitaph can be explained in terms of risk and magic if its true that beatrice gains more power the harder she makes her win and the more he helps the ushiromiya solve the epitaph. The greater her risk if loss the more powerful the magic.

Natsuhi should have told her family about the threats. Someone trying to squeeze into the succession line or extort is extremely likely. Unless she really did cheat on kraus.

Watched safiya nygaard's newest video and all i could think about the "expressive" thin 1920s movie star eyebrows was battler. Maybe I've gotten used to the artstyle but battler is looking more handsome as the game goes on.

Anti fantasy anti mystery and all the focus on the culprit being introduced early and yet umineko keeps introducing more and nore new characters and so there of course there needs to be dialogue to introduce them and the story gets bogged down. Every scene is necessary but some could have been rewritten or combined. So far i think umineko could have been rewritten to be 30% shorter or more concise. Again it highlights the fictionality and thus enhances the themes but i personally dislike the style so im happy to be listening to it at 2x speed. I can see why umineko and utena have such large amounts of overlapping audiences, it's for the girlies, for the transfem lesbians.

This story really is unfolding into a slow burn romance doomed by the narrative straight couple. One of the things that leaves a bad taste really is how beato is turned into someone to be saved. Her narrative agency has been taken and she's been written out of the story her role relegated to how battler feels about her, someone to be pitied and saved. And i dont like it

So battler did become both kinzo's sucressor and the holden witch+endless sorcerer.

Ep6: uh yikes. Forced marriage under what jurisdiction? Demon law??. Also isnt eriko like 16. Baby gm bullied and cornered by sadistic player.

So new beatrice calling battler father is a little creepy, at least he isnt encouraging it. Battler literally doing the exact same thing kinzo did keeping a factory reset beatrice. Battler turning into kinzo 2.0. Ugh game meta, the pieces, the players and meta, the "real" versions. Beatrice is the embodiment of the game so does she change as the game changes? Even if the soul as godwitch says is the same, she lacks memories. Battler is chasing beatrice who's existence is permanently gone as stated in red. She will not come back what will happen to the new beatrice even if she gains the memories of old beato would be be the same person. Was battler really the mystery natsuhi baby. Beatrice being his piece makes some sense from the servants death to the weird poeerplay between them and whatever sin beatrice was talking about. But then if we look at the ages homunculus beatrice also makes sense as the baby. The closed timeloop hypothesis was one of my hypothesis but if that actually end up true like battler becomes kinzo or new beatrice loops around to becoming the beatrice at the begining of the series i will freak.

Oh great there's yet another beatrice. This is the one who gave shannon the brooch, so there were 2 all along???? Why didn't battler revive this one. And is this actual time travel. Did battler manage to make new beatrice a human?

New Beatrice is devoted to subservience and battler is over here hallucinating begging Beatrice to bully him poison him degrade him. Kinzo makes more sense now. It's been like 3 days battler. And beatrice was the one who gave new beatrice to order to serve battler, messed up. Daughter??? Author you sure you want to phrase it like that. Battler recreating new beatrice is just making both of them miserable. Battler's coping with loss and bringing new beatrice into that grief was the worst possible option he should have just given himself room to grieve. He also should have researched before creating life and known before hand that the new beatrice wouldn't have memories. Because having her and her own crisis around just keeps him from coming to terms with beatrice's loss.

think i remember seeing these in the famous rpgmaker 2k3 sale video but also thinking about how this might’ve been a big influence on how i draw Axis’s hair now. Always liked how it goes up to one side (cowlick?) but actually used his updated face sprites when working on that weezer parody

still dig his hair even if not but noticed its not as prominent in the table talk title screen/promo and some more recent axis art

think for the longest time i’ve always been drawing his hearing aids with the antenna thingy at an angle which might’ve been based on older teasers though i think its straight now

I think i also tend to draw Axis a bit chubbier now too?, and i think that might’ve been party inspired by his proportions in the 2021 teaser? Think Axis is more twinkish in actuality but idk i think a little chub suits him 😆

I really love referencing old art particularly when drawing astral guard stuff sometimes, like in the piece with Sear and Coda, Axis in the background has a headset inspired by an old rpgmakercola piece with axis in it (unfortunately cant find it right now)

Also I haven’t the faintest idea where i got it from??? I dont remember ever seeing earrings on Voleric but in that second ever astral guard fanart I did i gave him earrings for some reason??? Not a bad look i must admit but I cant remember if that was a creative choice on my part or not.

Always been obsessed with concept art and seeing the old designs for these characters and how they’ve changed over the course of its development is just so fascinating to me.

speaking about gay Anime or Yuri as the connoisseurs call it, i've seen them ALL, and im not even exaggerating lmao, i've seen almost every anime in which two girls kiss or end up together. but when ppl think about those is always the same old ones on every list cause for a LONG time those were the only ones aviable until recently that somehow the creators became more committed to these stories and have been giving us quality content. here's where my personal preference interferes .. i only go for happy endings lmao i don't waste my time on depressing shit lmao. life is depressing enough as it is lol. so yeah, lets start from the beggining.

Strawberry Panic. - you've probably heard about this one but is a classic and a master piece for a reason. very light and sweet but also a good share of drama. all girls school, gay for days, great ending :)

2. El Cazador de la Bruja. - the third on a trilogy of non connected pieces about gay protagonists. imo the best of the 3 cause is the one who actually ends on a good place :) and that place is Mexico lmao. extremely interesting adventure story, VERY gay and a easy to watch.

3. Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. - a very special piece, very close to my heart, in which in a course of 3 seasons you get to see the rare occurrence of a relationship between these two girls since they're kids all up to when they get married and acquire a kid lmao plus magic and monsters and all that jazz lmao. te longest of the list but also one of the bests.

4. Assault Lily Bouquet. - one of the most recent entries. very gay, very dramatic but also very short D: again all girls school, everyone is gay, the end lmao

5. Bloom Into You. - cause of course this one cant be missing from this list. IMO the best yuri anime in modern times. easy watch, gorgeous artstyle, school coming of age, actually gay, very good ending, i cant literally praise it enough. and the anime only goes half the way of the original manga. i HIGHLY recommend reading the manga which is finished <3

6. Citrus. - this might be controversial for some but in the core is very sweet and well executed, the manga keeps on going but the anime stops on a really good place. very interesting and over all sexy.

7. Fragtime. - very cute movie about two girls in school who fall in love with each other under weird circumstances. i loved every second of it. my only complain being that it could have been longer D:

Princess Principal. - the only entry in here that isn't "explicitly" gay lol or at least not in the conventional way cause the main girls are literally dating in secret. cute, romantic period piece with awesome music and effects. and also still ongoing in the form of movies. if they end up confirming it remines to be seen. but c'mon, this is official art.

9. Yurikuma Arashi. - beautiful work of art from the same ppl behind the classic UTENA. a wnderful representation of the phrase "again but gayer" the story is kinda cnfusing like everything they do lmao but once you really get into it, it slowly consumes your soul.

10. Adachi and Shimamura. - super cute and relatable depiction of ones first crush. light and beautiful with nothing to waste. fuckin adorable man

i have a lot more but i wanted t cut this at ten so i don't overwhelm you. feel free to talk to me about any of these cause id love to revive the experience through new eyes.

8 Anti LO Asks

1. It doesn’t really make sense for a long term comic such as LO to have such a drastic change in the artstyle, and even more you can’t really call it an improvement when all the interesting parts of the art style are now gone and all that it is now it’s just some basic same-face and body art style with barely any backgrounds. RS is incredibly talented for illustrative artwork and it’s really a shame she’s not doing that anymore and instead has left it to her team, with leaving them very messy sketches. The artstyle in the beginning had life and glamour and now it’s just very dull and boring. That’s not an improvement

2. I genuinely can’t think of any man in LO that’s even half way decent. Poseidon maybe? Hephaestus? Those are the only two I can manage, meanwhile the rest are either Rachel purposely ruining them because of her own biases (Zeus, Apollo, Thanatos to an extent) or are “good” men who are just creeps who disrespect all the women around them and are super creepy and obsessed over a literal teenager who acts like a child (Hades, Ares, Hermee, Eros, etc). The women aren’t much better either. 

3. About Perse making Hades childish: (this is no way defending him, just some speculation, and tbh I doubt that RS has thought this through haha) I wonder if he becomes a horny teenager around her because she’s a goddess of fertility? Would that have any affect on him? Doesn’t excuse his creepy ass behavior, but could explain it a bit, I guess?

4. Okay so I'll be honest I dont really see any reason to 'simp' over Any of the LO characters?

Also, not to start sh*t, but - I think part of the reason why some of the LO fandom does not like Zeus (and perhaps gives Hera more leeway - at least in terms of cheating) is because:

Mythologically Zeus is a known cheater / rapist (Io for example, or Semele)

They see Hera cheating a Zeus as okay (its not) because he's been known to cheat on her in the past / fans see Hera cheating on Zeus with Hades as 'justified revenge' for what he's (Zeus) put her through

I'll be honest I dont really see Zeus (or Hades for that matter) as good rulers because

Despite other deities (like Eros) doing 'acts of wrath' - they get away with it because they often have someone to back them up (like Aphrodite offering to sleep with Zeus to get her son out of trouble) - but the one time Persephone does something wrong (an act of wrath) - Zeus wants to give her the Prometheus treatment - mainly so he can feel like an in control king whos subjects respect him

The reason this sound so odd is because of RS writing choices. Zeus is a grade A d*ck who is willing to destroy a 'young girls promising career' because she made 1 mistake that one time. But at the same time the act of wrath is framed oddly because Demeter doesn't want her daughter to get in trouble so she covers it up (its like the equivalent of hiding a murder from the cops).

Zeus wanting to Prometheus Kore seems overly harsh because she is a Child. (Well a teenager) - so it adds to the "Zeus is a d*ck" card, because she doesnt have the life experience to "get away with" stuff like the other deities because she is young AND sheltered.

Like again, the whole concept of Human Laws applying to Gods is so confusing:

Would Zeus have been this harsh if Demeter had simply come forward in the first place about Persephone's murder rampage? Why did she blackmail / get other deities involved to cover it up? Is Zeus THAT much of a d*ck in Demeters eyes that she knows he would harshly punish a child for something "she didnt mean to do" (killed mortals based on a feeling?)

Why is there a motherf*cking trial in the first place? Do All the other deities get the right to a fair trial or is this a special case? (Like can any deity just offer to sleep with Zeus and he'll let them off the hook?). If the other deities had commited the same crime would the trial / punishment be the same or does Zeus just have a rage boner because he was lied to? If thats the case then why are the other deities taking Persephones side during the trial? (Ares I can maybe understand cause hes the God of War and stuff but everyone else is taking Perse's side because their either her personal friend or family member (Hecate, Hermes, Demeter, Hades etc).

Why are there certain laws like "Zeus cant get to Persephone because she has clemency in the underworld" but other deities - including Leto, Demeter and others (like Perse's nymph family) can just stroll into Hades house? Why is Hermes still on house arrest? Why are Hades + Persephone throwing a house party when shes on trial for scythe crimes??!!!

Why are the gods bound by such petty squabbles?

The way RS set up the governing "laws" in universe just doesnt make a whole lotta sense. Also, sorry this got ramblely.  

5. Tbh i don’t think that Hades acting differently when he’s with Persephone is a bad thing, as a concept. But there are many issues with this such as the fact that Persephone is barely legal and Hades act like an actual child around her. Obviously when you’re with someone they are going to act different than they do when they are at work. The problem is that Hades essentially goes from the “cold-scary king” to a 17 year old hormonal boy when he’s with Persephone. And him making out with her in a middle of a store or them golfing with diamonds or him making out with Persephone again in front of his workplace is not exactly acceptable behaviour from a king. If Hades acts all lovey-dovey with Persephone when their at their home together it’s different, but when they’re at a public place they can’t really do that. I would say that he has to keep a status about him but from what we’ve seen all the citizens of the underworld hate him and don’t respect him at all, from yelling at him to actually fighting with him, so idk how much status there is actually attached to him 

6. I swear, the majority of the “cute” HxP moments in LO just seem like a single father dealing with his hyperactive 8 year old over the supposed future intimidating rulers who Rachel is obsessed about talking and drawing their sex life. Is it really that hard to depict Persephone even acting like a smart teenager at the very least, as opposed to an airhead grade schooler? It doesn’t scream cute to me, it seems more like a father/daughter relationship. It’s just weird. 

7. i mean, i have a LO oc who's persephone's brother (fertility god) between demeter and zeus. dude got thrown into tartyrus to cover up the affair and now serves cronus. he was the god of summer, and my reasoning was demeter's seasons/harvest + summer thunderstorms. wrote a whole minific i will never post about him and persephone realizing everyone around them are assholes and healing together. so the mistress-of-zeus oc isnt that weird.

8. I’m not a Zeus stan by any means, but I do find him one of the most interesting characters, and one that RS has, in her attempts to make him be the worst ever to make Hades look better, actually way more interesting and compelling than the majority of the cast. He doesn’t lie or whine to the audience he’s some good person like Hades when he’s not, he owns that he’s a dick and doesn’t bullshit the audience into thinking he’s someone he’s not. RS tries to show us he’s a “bad” king, yet we see no proof it beyond what, he wants to uphold the law P broke and doesnt kiss Hades’ butt? That’s not a bad king, it’s a good one that he doesn’t let family ties or lust cloud his judgement, unlike Hades or Hera, for example. I don’t condone his cheating either, but it’s not fair to hate him for it, but love it that Hades cheated on Minthe so he could get into a teenager’s skirt and praise Hera for sleeping with her brother in law while punishing Zeus’ mistresses because she’s being a fake “loyal” wife. Just because he’s a deeply flawed, even a bad person doesn’t make him a bad character. Hades and Hera and even Persephone are awful people who do worse than Zeus, yet they’re loved and praised for it, all while being written with the depth of a puddle.

Henlo, just thought i want to come by and say hi. Just saw your post and i totally understand the frustration of feeling that your art isnt great and its totally valid to feel that way, i feel like that whenever I feel like I keep doing the same thing over and over. Maybe right now you feel awful about it but i can assure you the feeling will pass eventually. Maybe sooner you will feel better about your sketches, not sure if you need reassurance but I do adore them, they're very cute to me and your strokes and poses really makes the character very animated, I cant do that I struggle with that big time hhhh. Either way, please take as many break as you needed, a break from doing art is just to clear your head is absolutely fine. I hope you feel better one day and i hope you have a good day 💕💕💕

Rating: 10/10, this was my first and it's amazing!! i like the twists and turns Emma goes through within the story. the way she reacts to certain things, what elios says and how other characters talk about gives great and subtle hints!! its incredible and it only gets better!!

'School Bus Graveyard' by lilreadbeany follows Ashlyn, who is deemed a loner in high school. She visits a haunted house on a school trip with her classmates that turns their world for the worse, allowing them to see horrifying monsters at night. The only way to survive is to connect with her classmates and fight it out.

Genre: Thriller, Romance

Rating: 9/10, the art style is very nice and the details among the scenes are both anxiety-inducing and intriguing. all the main characters are so likeable in their own ways, and it's hard not to love what the author does with their interactions. it is coming to a season finale soon, but i am really excited to read what happens next!!

'Homesick' by Ms. Freaky is a story about Rayne, a girl whose lost her memories and has woken up in an apocolypse. She immediately meets Samael, a guy who acts pretty much like that kid who was the mean 'good' guy of your high school class. They strike a deal to try and help each other survive in the world of cannibalistic monsters.

Rating: 9/10, the various colouring is what caught my eye, because of the ones chosen and how they work together. the artstyle is very pleasing and i could stare for hours!! character are very well-written and you cant help but feel for them, even the ones who shouldnt be taken well, and the interactions between Rayne, Ogre, Samael and other characters are just amazing!!

'Maybe Meant to Be ' is a webtoon by both honeyskein (writer) and damcho (artist) involving two polar opposites; unemployed and unmotivated Jia Han, and serious and stoic Mincheol Jin. After joking that the two of them should get married to each other to relieve parental stress, Jia finds out that Mincheol had taken her offer seriously and drags her into a faux marriage used to keep their mothers and fathers satisfied.

Genre: Romance, Comedy

Rating: 9/10, I LOVE THEM BOTH!! in romance, i usually find myself liking one love interest more than another (except for love is war, ofc), but for mmtb, both of them are just so loveable!! the comedy hits so well and the artstyle helps to tie it all together. guaranteed that any romance lover will absolutely fall for this webtoon, highly recommend this one for a nice read!!

'My Giant Nerd Boyfriend ' by fishball is a series filled like all short comics. It dives into the life of the author herself and her boyfriend, iconic by his pikachu shirt. The highs and lows of their relationship, the funny and relatable moments, and even the strangest times fill this webtoon to the brim!

Rating: 8/10, so many episodes to enjoy, you can never run out. the artstyle is so cute and makes everything way more funnier!! fishball and boyfriend are hilarious to watch and the plot of every mini comic always makes me chuckle. i find that this series is nice to pass time!!

'Nice To Meet You' by Wishroomness tells the tale about a clumsy college student named Mew, who finds a lost student card and decides to not do the responsible thing and give it back. She plays a tiny game on the cardholder, in which said holder named Daze doesn't take lightly to the prank. Perhaps Mew made a mistake, or the best decision ever for her life. Their relationship unfolds as the game spirals out of any of their control.

Genre: Drama, Romance

Rating: 8/10, beautiful artstyle and colouring!! i was drawn to that first and then fell in love with the characters, each of them has their flaws that effect the story in different ways, but isn't a big block that it makes you aant to quit reading. great to show a more realistic side.

'Once A Hero' by Yankifull is Ja-in's story that starts off with his kidnapping, where he is saved by a conveniently placed guy named Unjo. His questions about this stranger only grow more after hearing Unjo say that he had saved a nation in his 'past life'. Ja-in's life spirals out from that point on.

Rating: 7/10, really enjoying it so far, the artsyle is very nice and the characteristics of each person in this story is very interesting, meeting new characters is always refreshing too!! like the breaking of 'fan favourite' characters and the powers are very interesting.
