I’M LITERALLY OBSESSED WITH THE WAY YOU DRAW LIKE OMGGGG IT’S SO GORGEOUS, LIKE THE SHADING IS HEAVENLY HOW DO YOU DO IT!? And if you don’t mind me asking, what programme and brushes do you use? :D

Someone else asked a similar question so I’ll put them together in one post! I use clip studio on my iPad, and about a year ago I downloaded free brushes (I don’t remember where I got them sorry) that are basically just textured/low opacity watercolor and pencil (?) ones. Here’s my layer breakdown too! I rely a lot on filter type layers because it’s easy, but there are some occasions where I’ll free hand and shade everything on the color layer (like my magic twilight drawings) I kinda just guess for the most part, but I might make art tutorials soon!

Perryn! owned by @radiant-flutterbun . what a handsome guy..most handsome tundra award goes to him i think. (and maybe Jolene too..they can split it.) but yeah he's so gorgeous, absolutely love the jaguar/clouded/thylacine combo and the helmet looks so good on them!! those helmets are so underrated and help make them look more tough..always a fan of Buff Fluffs (and also fat tundras my beloved of course fdgsdf) everything just works so well on him!!

Glitzi, owned by @tomswifty-fr ! Lovely blues and another great Falcon C: but also a really really captivating story..a legendary hero who's gotten cynical with a rough lot in life.. and if you haven't read the Gltizi comic please do <3 it's 24 beautifully illustrated pages of some of the most captivating fr lore emotions i've ever read C:

Veltto, owned by @dunhoof ! another handsome fat tundra (my weakness) and i also really like the color schemes..the bright fruity green/yellow is such a fun contrast with the dark black primary, eye spots is one of my favorite genes and so underused..and omg the cute matching goat eyes too..and this guy just loves his beastclan wife hell yeah <3 eveyrthing you could want in a tundra right here!

and lastly, at number 1 we have... @guardsbian's very own Rozomund !!! no way she couldn't be part of this list omgggg..biker tundra of my dreams, she is sooo cool omg <3 loving the hex secondary and the cool bandana matching her pants and using the chasmcrawler stuff to be leather was genius omg. she is everything to me c: and lowkey was an inspiration for Glacier (along with Brody and Maddox)..tundra bikers with the wind in their fur, unite :D

I haven't said any real complaints about the pacing for a while, hm?

Well..... it's back. Today's chapter is really just Cale extinguishing the fire. I checked the novel for comparison, and it's like the last 1/4 of chapter 79 and the first 1/3 or 1/4 of chapter 80.

Am I tired of complaining? Frankly, yes. I love TCF, so so much. And I love the art. It's gorgeous. But the pacing? Honestly, if I hadn't read the novel, I don't think I'd stick around each week because it feels boring. The early TCF arcs are quite slow, after all.

I'm just hoping the beautiful art can hook on a lot of people despite the pacing. TCF is just really good to miss, after all.

finally got the yona illustration book and I did worry a bit bc I saw some comments on Reddit or wherever that a lot of the art was reused from previous art books or extra collections but imo flipping through I don’t even really care that I’ve seen maybe 90% of these illustrations already because they’re soooo huge. lovely and sweet to see them in person. I will always have the softest spot for kusanagi’s art 🥹 also I don’t even own any previous artbook? This is the fullest comprehensive one so I’ll live

also there are definitely some she’s probably added to something but I don’t recognize it and it feels new to me. there’s something about her style of art and coloring that makes everything feel nostalgic anyway as if I’ve seen it 10 years ago so it doesn’t actually mean much as a negative

I like that the middle of the book just has the non-canon fit pics used for acrylic standees/merch for the collab cafes. Then it also just copy and pastes the post card releases which I really appreciate bc I also never got that collection kdjsks

brain has been taken over by the wild hunt/ rhiannon’s story in the mabinogion, so took it upon myself to rewrite their story & whip up some character designs. girl deserved better than to listen to her dumbass husband and take the punishment lying down.

Hi! I just saw your art of Adam and Ronan with the Shenandoah Harmony quote and I am so so hyped about it! Someone else relating Shape Note music/lyrics to their ships hehe! I sing mostly from the Sacred Harp, so I thought the words were from SH 317 Jackson (though they come up in another song too) which I always associated with queerness and religious guilt. I love this!

Also, or most importantly, your illustration of Adam and Ronan is gorgeous. Adam cramped up in the attic of St Agnes (?) and Ronan steadfastly being there and reliable for Adam below... so evocative and lovely!

OMGGGG THANK YOU.... im glad u liked it im glad u picked up what im putting down.... i love love love shape note singing I haven't been in a while but its fun and enriching to me for so many reasons. Shenandoah Harmony is generally my preferred songbook, that's usually where my favorites are. I would say top 3 definitely ShH 260t, which is where the quote's from, ShH 076t and ShH 404t. 404t particularly -- there's this beautiful soaring note on 'room enough' that makes me feel like like im an angel in heaven fr.

anyway I did that piece in I kid u not a 24 hour fugue state like the concept-to-finished-product journey went at the speed of light it dropped fully formed in my lap. if u want to know a secret its not actually a ronan piece, its an adam piece. more specifically about being in that weird place where you're uncomfortable being actually tangibly loved bc its incompatible with ur own self-concept which is a very adam thing. st agnes as a space is also representative of this -- its not only literally physically stifling to adam but also in a way presents this conflict where someone has done something for him (gotten the apartment, helped pay for the apartment) that he is both wary of and receptive to. adam parrish wants to be loved, and he wants just as badly to stop wanting it. because love is a privilege, gansey.
