Being best friends with clapton davis and deciding you both should go on a silly random date to see what happens. It was just you and clapton with the world faded around u guys. His hazel eyes gazed into yours as you talked about whatever new movie you watched the other night without him. He convinced you to share a huge dessert with him..just so when it comes to the table, he can feed you some from his own spoon, purposely getting some on ur nose. At the end of the night he makes sure your home inside and safe, keeping eye contact with you as he takes off his tie. Like I said..he knows what he's doing. When he thanks you for going on a date with his "dumbass" he hugs you tightly and gives you a few forehead kisses, quietly mumbling that he loves you♥️

hii! I figured I should make a post like this even though I have a feeling it will be like super messy xD

I've had an interest in history, specifically World War II basically since I was a kid. It was only recently though that I found out that there's a community for it! I've always had a thing with expressing my interests in ways that may seem slightly odd to other people, so it feels nice to see that there are others who seem to experience this in similar ways :3

I want to make it very clear that I am NOT a nazi or rightwing in any way, and I don't want actual (neo-)nazis to interact with my blog, seriously get the fuck out. Similarly, I don't want racists, lgbtq-phobes, ableists, religious extremists, pedos & zoos or people of similarly disgusting kind to interact. I'm literally queer and possibly neurodivergent (undiagnosed/suspected bc getting a therapy place is hard :/), this is really not a place for you. Also no Putin and/or Trump supporters preferably.

I've been a fan of the Downfall parodies on youtube when I was younger and recently relapsed into this fixation😭 I don't know if this fandom even really exists at this point since it seems that many creators have left in the meantime, but I'd love to talk about it, maybe I'll even get to write fanfics at some point. Also a short disclaimer that when I talk about historical figures that play a major role in the Downfall parody universe (such as Fegelein, Krebs, Burgdorf etc), it will usually be about their parody selves, not the real people! I'll try to clarify that individually if needed though.

I've also started lurking a little in the reichblr tag with a feeling that I'd describe as "indimidated fascination". Currently I'm mostly interested in some members of the Wehrmacht, but other historical figures that I had or have an interest in might come up as well. Overall any stuff that I post will probably go more into the lighthearted and humorous direction, but I'd love to bring in some more educational stuff as well.

I get crushes on fictional characters and sometimes historical figures too, but that doesn't mean I support, condone or defend their worldviews or actions in any way (this applies especially to real people of course)! These "crushes" usually stem from a place of fascination with who they were behind their public appearance, I want to know more about them as a private person, like their hobbies, favourite food and other mundane things like that. Often it's also simply that I feel physically attracted to their appearance because I think they're handsome, either that or they give me massive gender envy (or both lmao). I don't really control on who I fixate like that, it just happens, but I hope that this will be a place for me to express those feelings in some way and find like-minded people. Though I also want to point out that not all my fixations are automatically also crushes! When I see trans people trying to police the borders of transness/apply rigid definitions of trans identity I think about a 1996 interview with Leslie Feinberg and Kate Bornstein, two early trans theorists, in which they said that transgender is any kind of gender nonconformity.

“For me transgender means ‘transgressively gendered,’ that is, any kind of transgression against the mores and codes that would make up ‘gender’ in the culture.”

In 1994 Susan Stryker, another early trans theorist, defined transness as “all identities that cross over, cut across, move between, or otherwise queer socially constructed sex/gender boundaries.” Including the gender nonconformity of gay drag queens and butch lesbians.

It was really in the late 90s and early 2000s that the definition of transness shifted away from the large umbrella of gender nonconformity to terms that focused on so-called “biological sex” and medical transition.

I think we’re definitely in the midst of an intra-community struggle between folks who want to keep transness contained with rigid definitions and specific medical goalposts that refer to the forcibly gendered body and folks who want to expand the umbrella once again.

The former seem to be operating under the idea that they need to be the defenders of trans identity from people who wish to “falsely” identify as trans to get… well, it’s pretty unclear what exactly anyone would “get” from falsely declaring themselves as trans.

As for me, I’m for expanding that umbrella as far as it will go, let it be a shelter for anyone who wishes to call it home. Open the doors of the coalition, invite everyone in! Gender transgression for all!

I just really adore the conceptualization of transness as “transgressively gendered” rather than as defined by a relation to a nebulous “transition.” It seems to shift transness even further from bioessentialism towards a focus of how gender deviance is socially constructed.

I think it also allows for more accurate theorizing about how gender transgression is constructed and punished in our society. Like how gender nonconforming cis men and women are intentional targets of transphobia as well, not accidents of identification.  

Bc the point is to punish all forms of gender deviance, no matter what we call ourselves/how we conceptualize our own identities. The system may effect each of us in unique ways, and some of us may indeed be more vulnerable to violence than others, but we are all gender deviants.

It’s important to theorize on those differences (ex: transmisogyny, anti-transmasculinity, etc.) but not to the point that we draw rigid lines in the sand that almost always refer back to the gender coercively assigned to our bodies at birth. Again, let’s expand the coalition!
