Obviously we’re having a moment right now as a society. I humbly think that one of the issues we have at hand is BAD LEADERSHIP. Media spin is king. We can’t agree on basic human rights because we get the news that caters to our preferences. It’s sad; we have the greatest capacity for communication ever, and we have folks whose main priority is to maintain the status quo and NOT LISTEN. Last night I just kept working on music. This tune I’m working on is about demagoguery, which I think is one of the worst aspects of human nature; the intention to use the platform of fame/notoriety to manipulate the public through base emotion and prejudice. We have a long history of this in the US. As for the track- I edited and panned my acoustics, ran them through eq, chorus, and compression- all courtesy of Native Instruments. I sidechained the compressor to duck out the acoustics beneath the claps. I’ve had this tune for a few years on my computer and am finishing it. I hope everyone I know who is out can stay safe and healthy, and send love to all my friends. This just spoke so many volumes of life to me that I had to share. I understand the journey is already set. I just have to keep my foot in the road and KEEP PUSHING. Thoughts at 3 AM

It's always when I'm alone with my thoughts at 3 AM that I find the loneliness I seem to burry during the day. There seems to be an emptiness that I avoid and hide away. I know it's always there but when the sun is out I can find the wonder in the world and overlook the shadows of my mind. It's in these lonely moments that I miss the people, places and things of the past. It's when I think about my choices and fear for the future. I find solace in these lonely moments because I can tell that I still feel, dream, and that I can grow. But sometimes when I'm in them, I wish I didn't have to spend them so alone.
