Blogmas: A perfect night out in London 💕
Hi guys,
Last night was girls night and we decided to go to Skate West End. If you've never heard of it, it's a skate rink with a bar in the middle in Oxford Street. It's the perfect place to have some festive fun. Personally I don't ice skate so me and some of the girls decided to sit in the bar in the middle of the rink while the others went by on their skates.
When you go to Skate West End it's free entry to the bar, all you have to do is pay for your drink which honestly I expected there to be a entrance fee. Obviously you pay to skate the rink but all the money raised from the rink goes to charity so not only are you having fun but it's for a great cause too. The rink itself is stunning, the lights look gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and just up for a laugh and a good time.
It was honestly such a great experience and it even gave me the perfect excuse to wear my Faux Fur coat from John Lewis too which I now totally understand why people love coats like this. I used to hate faux fur coats because they didn't suit me but I found a gorgeous short box style one and now I can't be without it.
If you're looking to have some festive fun but don't want to go to Winter Wonderland here is the link to book tickets to skate in the rink. LINK TO BOOK SKATING.
As always all products / places mentioned are linked above.
Lot's of love

What Secrets Lie Behind The London Eye's Mesmerizing Views?
Tumblr media
There are so many remarkable sights to see in London. This is precisely what makes it such a great place to visit. However, it must be said that your visit to London simply isn’t complete without a trip round the London Eye.
As visitors flock to experience London’s iconic attractions, finding suitable accommodation becomes a priority. Among the bustling streets and lively neighborhoods, corporate apartments in London offer a blend of comfort and convenience for travelers seeking a home away from home.
About The London Eye
The London Eye is a magnificent Ferris wheel that stands at an incredible 135 meters in height (that’s around 443 feet!) This iconic structure is also known as the Millennium Wheel, and many view it as the perfect symbol of modern London.
The London Eye has a reputation for being one of the tallest Ferris wheels in all of Europe, and one thing is for sure: the view from the top of this edifice is absolutely breathtaking. On a clear day, you’ll be able to spot iconic buildings like Windsor Castle and Big Ben right from the top of this structure.

Here’s an interesting fact for you: Did you know that the London Eye actually has 32 passenger capsules for each of London’s boroughs? That’s pretty neat. The best part is the capsules are climate-controlled, so no matter what the weather outside is, you’ll always be perfectly comfortable.
How long does it take to go around the London Eye?
A complete rotation on the London Eye takes about 30 minutes. Now, this isn’t because the will can’t go faster; instead, the slow pace is to allow tourists and visitors to fully soak in the amazing spectacle the London Eye offers. You’ll even have enough time to create stunning panoramic pictures of these iconic landmarks as they come into view.
Where is the London Eye, and how do I get there?
The London Eye is situated along the South Bank of the River Thames, and it’s easily accessible by bus and other forms of public transport. If you plan on taking the bus, routes that stop close to the London Eye include the following: 1, 12, 59, 68, 76, 77, 139, and 148. Routes 159, 168, 176, 188, 211, 243, 77, and 381 also have stops near the London Eye.
Also, if you stay around Westminster, Embankment, or Charing Cross, the London Eye is also just a short walk away. If you don’t want to walk, you can always rent a bicycle and enjoy a calming ride down.
How to book London Eye tickets
The first thing to note about London Eye tickets is you have to book them online in advance. There are different types of tickets, and the type you go for determines how much you’ll pay. Standard tickets cost from £29.50, but if you want to skip the queues, opt for the London Eye fast-track ticket that costs from £48. For the most exclusive experience on the London Eye, you can opt for a London Eye Private Capsule ticket that costs from £675.
Where to stay in London?
After a day of exploration and discovery, retreating to the comfort of your accommodation is essential. And when it comes to finding the perfect place to call home in London, look no further than the Presidential Serviced Apartments in Kensington.
Located just a stone’s throw away from the bustling city center, these affordable apartments offer fully furnished apartments with modern amenities and impeccable service. And with the London Eye a mere 24-minute journey away, you’ll have easy access to one of the city’s most treasured attractions, allowing you to explore.
Final Thought
It’s time to bring your London experience full circle with the London Eye. You may want to take binoculars along for an even closer look at distant buildings as you enjoy a full 360-degree view of London’s most spectacular sights.

i vote that next year instead of reading Dracula we do a Jeeves & Wooster Book Club. those two never got the rabid tumblr shipping fandom they deserved (disqualified for the sheer technicality of being published a century too soon). we must correct this injustice
