He would get lost in just watching you. A slight smile on his face as he listens to you speak or just watch you watch him.

I think I had brought this up in one of my other pieces but he is big on naked cuddles. It’s just he needs to feel your warmth and your soft skin. Kissing your shoulders lovingly, brushing his fingers over your bare skin. Different shapes, words, lyrics coming alive on the canvas of your skin.

But he doesn’t need nighttime for snuggles only. No, you could be unloading a dishwasher and he’s just walking past, stopping midway to reach for you. Wrapping his arms around you from the back. Pulling you closer to him. The same goes for you getting ready for bed or to get out. Vess would stop by, resting his chin on your shoulder as he watches you in the mirror. “You’re so beautiful”, he would mutter, eyes so full of love there would be no way you could ever question his feelings towards you. You would reach back to brush your fingers over his thigh. He would stay like that for a bit. Before turning your face to the side. Kissing your lips. Neck. Pinching your bum and slowly stepping away.

Too tough for cuddles. Might snuggle after sex but other than that. It’s as if he doesn’t understand what snuggles mean. Well, until you came around. It’s odd at first. I think he’s a second installment of “I’m too tough for Cuddles”. So don’t expect him to reach out and snuggle into you. Not at the start of the relationship at least. I feel like he would be quite straightforward about “if you don’t like that, then this won’t work”. So hand holding, him slightly pulling you into him while walking is all you can expect from him.

His icy walls would chip apart the longer you two date. The more he let himself believe that you were it. The final destination, not just a mid-stop. So during the nights you two spent together, ii would occasionally pull your legs over his lap, slowly brushing his fingers over your ankles. You would playfully poke at his stomach till he would pull you closer to him, kissing you senseless.

I think you would find him one evening lying on his stomach in bed, waiting for you to finish your nighttime routine. All of his tattoos are out on display. He had a strict rule of not letting your sweet lotions mix with his things. “The new one is itchy”, he reaches back, scratching slightly at the ink. You push his fingers away, the last thing a new tattoo needed were fingers pulling at it.

“Sure, yeah”, you climb onto the bed, slowly moving to straddle his lower body. Your fingers dipped into the jar before you carefully spread it over his skin. You loved his back. But then who didn’t? So you’re not too surprised that you zone out for a moment. Leaning down to snuggle against his skin. “You’re so warm”, you breathe him in, letting his warmth seep into you. That is until you feel his muscles tighten between you. You push back almost as if someone electrocuted you. “Sorry, sorry, I….”, you shake your head, not wanting to overstep.

But ii is quick to grab onto your thighs. Keeping you sat on him. “Stay”, ii muttered. Looking over his shoulder slightly. “But you don’t like it when…”, you reach out, fixing some of the messy strands on his head. “It feels nice, lay on top of me”, his voice is so soft and quiet that you can’t help but just stare at him for a moment.

“You sure?”, you crock your head to the side, catching his eyes. ii just smile at you ever so slightly, “Yeah”. A smile spreads on your face. So you kiss his shoulder one more time, before you let your body rest against his. Reaching out to run your fingers over his lower back. A satisfied sigh slipping past his lips.

He loves love. Loves affection. Does he know how to ask for it? No. Does he ever admit that he’s desperate for it? Nope. It’s the hugs that feel just a bit longer. The firmer grip he has on your intertwined fingers. The way he steps just a bit closer to you that gives him away.

So you both are lying in bed one night. Still, the first nights you both had spent together. iv has been tossing and turning for some time now. You can feel him inching closer at times before he seems to change his mind, keeping to his side. It’s almost funny seeing a guy like him squirm like that. “Ivy”, you call out into the darkness. “Did I wake you up?”, he asks, brushing his hand over his face. You don’t have the heart to tell him that you hadn’t been able to sleep to begin with. So instead you turn to your side, watching him. “What’s got you so unsettled tonight?”, you reach out, brushing your fingers over his cheek. iv closes his eyes in clear delight at feeling your fingers against his skin. “Just…”, he shrugs slightly, “Just… I don’t know it’s just…”

You don’t push him. Words had never been his strong suit. So you lift the side of your blanket. “What if you lay on my chest?”, you ask, watching him take a sharp breath in. “You told me something about noises helping you sleep”, you add, “Would my heartbeat do the…”, but you don’t get to finish as iv quickly reaches out, turning his body to lay exactly aligned with yours. “Yes”, he breathes out. Arms already sneaking to wrap around you, “Yes, it would”.

You let out a little chuckle, looking down at him. Feeling the tension already melting away from him. “You know, if you ever want to cuddle or be close”, you brush your fingers up and down the back of his neck, “You can just do it. You don’t need to stew in silence. Boyfriend privileges allow that”. He snorts lightly, lifting his head to look at you, “Careful, I might just never let you go”. How do you choose colours for your art?

ohhh. it's always tricky for me to explain this.. im still new to all this color biz and I'm still learning. i'll do my best to explain 1. opposites the thing i really really love to do is to use the opposite of a color on a different side of a color wheel

I chose orange, and then I chose blue for the shadow because it's on the opposite side of a color wheel from it. But! Between blue and orange is a HUGE gap that might look awkward. So! I use the color between blue and orange - green! You can see it on a color wheel that theyre between each other, and you can see how I used it mainly on a head as, again, a shadow, and you can see that its neighbor is almost always blue.

It might still look awkward tho. So I chose the color between green and the color that it's the neighbor of, and I try to make them blend by using colors between them, by using strokes, dots, and so on. And by just blending You can also see that I used purple to make the shadows stronger and to make the antennas uhhh more interesting. I chose it because its next to the dark blue.. i'll talk about that later

so basically its just a rainbow i know its something something color theory and you can read about it but personally ive seen a lot of videos and articles about it and it just hasnt really ..helped. yeah i understand that i need to use opposite colors but it still was so confusing!! i look at the canvas and have no idea what to do even though i watched things !! how the hell do i do it!!! huh!! What REALLY made me understand more is that I took a work of an artist that I really love who uses opposite colors STUNNINGLY and then I looked at what colors they used there and HOW. What saturation they usually use. Why and when their blue is actually red on a color wheel, but it looks like blue and how can i do the same. What repeats in their work? Etc. It really helped me, so I advise you to do something similar? Because it revealed a lot to me. Maybe it's not REALLY what the artist does, maybe their process is different, but it doesn't matter tho i still recommend watching some videos on basic color theory if you haven't already. it still isn't useless

yeag. i love it when it happens. but actually it's almost always unintentional! because what i really did was TAKE ORANGE AND THEN THE COLOR ON THE OPPOSITE OF IT - BLUE!!!!!

And then i made it more transparent!

The color between orange and blue is, yet again. green, so i took it, made it more transparent and yada yada. here's another example

shadow looks like green, but color wheel shows its not green, but actually it is green i just made it more transparent

you get the idea. its the same thing as using the opposite colors, but you make them more transparent 3. if you can use the same color then why not use the same color lol. i like to be frugal

4. neighboring colors here is my first(..almost) attempt to use opposite colors! But i also used colors that are neighbors to each other on a color wheel

it goes lower and lower not only in brightness and saturation, but also in colour! another example

5. gradient maps can be a big changer a) no gradient maps or anything

d) i mess around and also put yellow on top of everything. looks much better!

6. Rectangles okay this one is a MESS hahA ... but i often try to make a rectangle . in a color wheel-

if we'll combine them and look at the placement of circles you can see a rectangle!!! that's what i try to do when i choose colors. i love rectangless if you'll look at the colors i picked here(orange purple green) in your art program, you'll see a rectangle again! Also i used neighboring colors biz on the berries. im sure its not how's it called but lol im not a professional i dont see the need to know it

also i never use white. its a super popular rule but still. theres also a rule to not use absolutely the blackiest black buutt idkk i use it for borders usually i also use this thang a lot . oftentimes it helps me realize that i've made the drawing too pale again. maybe if you tweak it you'll see the result you like more, too!

i dunno what else to tell you about.. hmmm. once again i really recommend you to just take the art you really like and look at the colors in your art program using the color picker. Try to find repeating patterns and try do do something similar. That's what i did! i REALLY hope this was useful .... if you have other questions i'll try to answer. and thank you for asking !! i'm really flattered that someone is curious to know how i color... :)

"Kaaaaate" you groaned as your girlfriend opened the blinds, allowing the golden flecks of light to seep through the room. It was your birthday today and the two of you had been so busy with missions and briefings that no one really had time to have a wind down and celebrate the 'Tony Way' of a birthday.

"Wakeup sleepy girl, it's your birthday" she sing-songed softly as she padded across the hardwood floor with ease. A disgruntled groan slipped your lips and you heard the archer chuckle. Mornings were not it, you made that very clear.

"Come on baby, I've got plans!" she sat by your starfished state and ran her fingers through your slightly curly hair. She rolled her eyes at the way your body melted further into the mattress before rolling you over and pressing feather like kisses along your forehead.

Quiet giggles escaped your lips at the sudden yet dotting action and you finally opened your eyes. "Morning angel" Kate whispered and kissed your lips gently. "Hi" you whispered out as you kissed her back and just stared at her.

"You take that back! I'm not weird! Pigs are ugly! At least these babies are so fluffy and cute and really just like you! Theyre short and fiesty and loud as hell but so so so cute and squishy!" Kate teased and squished the blondes cheeks. "Get off me you cytka" Yelena shrieked and swatted her hands away, groaning at the instant sensation on the apples of her cheeks.

"Your new nickname isn't Lena or Blondie anymore, its Ducky" Kate howled in laughter at the deadpan glare Yelena sent. "Count your days Katniss" she growled and lunged at her best friend, sending them both on the floor. Thw two got into a playfull tussle until something wet licked Kate's face. "Did you just LICK me?! Yelena! That was uncalled for you ass! Ew!" Kate spluttered dramatically and wiped her cheek like a maniac.

The way Yelena went to roll her eyes but remained quiet and adverted her eyes away from Kate, smirking at something behind her made the purple avenger spin around. "What?! That's so not fair!" the duo were staring at a brunette crouching at the lake's edge with a few stray ducklings at her feet. "They never come up to anyone!" Kate whispered in awe and Yelena saw something in her eyes.

She was a spy for gods sake, she knew how to read people. Kate wasnt looking at the lowkey insult from the animals, but towards you. The Duckling whisperer. She was mesmerized. Anyone could see it. "Go say hi you idiot" Yelena pushed the lovestruck archer a little in the direction and Kate froze up.

"I can't just go over there and say hi! Are you crazy?!" she panicked but the widow smirked instead. "Kate Bishop, do you not know how conversations work? And plus, I'm tired of hearing you complain about how 'Wanda said she's too old for me' 'Tasha and Maria sure seem like theyre fun, do you think they want a third' 'Wanda said she's fine with Vision, is that code for he's got no game' go and say hi or I will for you" Yelena shoved her a little harder this time and Kate went stumbling from her little safe space.

Now she was too close to you to go back to Yelena but too far to try and talk to you without yelling. With a big deep sigh, she stuck up her middle finger behind her where she heard the blonde chuckle and made her way over to you. She slowed a little when she heard your voice speak out onto the lake.

"Aw you're cute too, don't worry I'm not playing favourites, your siblings just like to steal my attention. I promise youre just as beautiful!" you spoke to these small creatures in the softest voice Kate had ever heard. Resting peacefully next to you was Mama duck, her little babies splashing in the water in front of her and running laps around you.

The closer Kate got to you the harder it was to not completely fumble. On the otherside of you was a little sketchbook, a few rough line drawings of the ducks and the lake adorned the slightly oat coloured page. Of course you were an artist! All the more reason for Kate to back out of this! You were so cool and soft spoken, she felt like you yourself belonged in an art museum. 'So beautiful' she thought.

With a final breath of encouragement, she sat down next to you gently as to not startle the ambience and you froze tentatively at the new body but what she said next made you at ease instantly. "They taste great with orange" was the only thing that made its way out of Kate's mouth and she was mortified. From then on, the lake was your favourite place to watch the archer and her scary blonde friend roam around in the early mornings of Spring.

A gentle tug on your belt loop drew your attention back to reality and you realised that 1, Lucky's leash was now in your girlfriend's hold not yours, who knows when the switch happened and 2, she brought you to the infamous spot. "How stupid" You heard her chuckle as the two of you sat down and got comfortable as Lucky went off-leash around the two of you. "It was cuteee, little baby Katie all shy and stumbly" you teased her but a playful (yet threatening) glare made you gulp.

"I still remember how beautiful you looked that day" Kate sighed in awe and pulled you close to her, your head falling on her shoulder. "Stop" you blushed and she kissed your head. A small bark from Lucky broke the two out of your conversation and you couldn't believe your eyes as you sat up. A small family of ducks made their way over towards the lip of the lake and Lucky sniffed the bigger one before walking off with a happy smile, layig behind Kate in the shade.

"Hi little ones! G'mornin Mama and Papa duck" you whispered in awe as the family of 7 waddled towards your area, butts shaking off the water as the little ones followed Mama. "Still as soft as ever my angel girl" Kate murmured and pulled you in for a tender kiss. The two of you stayed in your little bubble for hours until Lucky was getting angsty and losing his concentration and ignoring commands from your girlfriend.

"Buhbye little quackpots" you smiled at the flock and they returned to their watery sanctum, one of the bigger ducks hanging around the area a little longer before following it's babies and paddling off.

A little while later and you found yourself sitting on the couch blindfolded waiting for your girlfriend to return to you. Lucky was asleep on the other sofa so there wasn't even a chance of him alerting her presence. Not a sound escaped your lips while you waited, you knew better than to disobey a command. A small shuffle to the left of you had you almost turning your head but once again, she told you to not to move and stay still.

You could feel her near you, you could head her, you could smell her perfume but nothing was said. The smirk on the archer's lips was growing with every passing second, you were always so good for her. her good little pet. No one asked for this, but, we thought it could be useful : How we make flags + tips on how we do it

As stated in our pinned post we use krita, canva, arty click colors, color picker online, coolers create a gradient, coolers create a palette, and google for other resources. (We also have a small list of flag resources at the bottom of our pinned post too, and plan on expanding it.)

Krita :

(Its important to note that krita is a desktop/computer program, and does not exist on mobile. We make all our flags on our computer Vantablack.)

Our flags are 3500 x 2000 px

Using the line tool and symmetry tools is a MUST

You will most likely be using the horizontal and vertical symmetry tools for your flags all the time

selection tool is also your friend

if youre making a flag based off an image its always awesome to import the image as a reference on the side

Its smart to put your stripes on different layers

The middle of the symmetry tools turned on can help you center things

Making the resource stripes you use a lower opacity can help with placement

we also use more unique brushes sometimes for flags, such as a rain brush and a star brush for making rain particles and stars (you may have to go out of your way to find them online)

when drawing out the flags, its recommended to use a brush thats size DONT vary based off of how much pressure you put on it (\/ not bulleted because theyre kinda long) When putting in symbols, if you want them to be the opposite color you can just invert the layer. But if you want it to be a specific color or the colors of an image, you can put in the image/color as another layer, select your symbol with the selection tool, go to the color/image layer, invert selection, and erase all thats not selected. You can also do this with other things too. You can right click a layer, go to "layer style" and click "stroke" at the bottom if you want a symbol to have a outline around it. make sure to change it to the size px you want, change it to "normal" and opacity at 100% for a good basic outline. We usually use either 20 px, 10px, or 15px. This is also good for making stickers out of drawings!

How we use stripe resources :

We'd first start with the plain stripes. We would import the resource and center it then stretch it to where it fits the length of the flag width.

Position where you want the stripe to go.

Use the selection tool to select the stripe, and then hide the resourced stripe layer.

Switch to another layer and color in the selected area. Then you can deselect afterwards.

If you want to do the same resource stripe on the opposite side, you can go back to the resource stripe layer and flip it vertically and repeat the steps.

if we need to specify this later we will ^-^ (we were going to include images but we're kind of too lazy to)

Canva :

We have sometimes used Canva to make flags. We actually used the help of Canva to make the naturic flags. We usually use Canva for symbols and stuff, and for better centering and consistency with symbol size. You can also use Canva for adding in text to your flags if needed.

Arty click colors :

We use artyclick to find the names of colors, and thats it. We use it when we want to add a ID to our flags. We'll upload our flags sometimes and select over the individual stripes and colors and will easily get the names of the colors, or at least a close resembling match. Its a way to make ID descriptions more detailed.

Color picker online :

We use this color picker to easy get the color hex code from images, flags, whatever so on and so forth. It can also be helpful outside of flag making too.

Coolers create a gradient :

We'll use this website to make a gradient out of any colors. As many colors as you fucking want. We've also used this to make colored gradients out of our flags for some posts.

Additionally, you can use the create a gradient palette to make a color palette out of two colors.

Coolers create a palette :

This is excellent for making even stripes. if you cant manually draw them out with the line tool or are just too lazy to draw the stripes out yourself this is recommended.

When youre done making a palette with the stripes you can just save the palette and import it into your flag file and resize it and add it in from there. boom.

This has bugged me for a while but before i get into it i want to say up front that all kinds of representation for all kinds of people is incredibly important, this is just my opinion through my lense of my personal experience being trans and consuming trans content. I hope that would be common sense but i know if i dont write this someones going to get pissy with me for god knows what.

With that out of the way,

I have been trying to hunt out and consume as much trans media as i can (at least in genres and forms that i tend to enjoy reading/viewing) and one thing i see to an insane degree is trans women being portreyed with predominantly masculine features or even being played by cis men in drag. On one hand i think "hey ill take what i can get" but on the other i think thats a fucking low bar. Now i know that there is a significant portion of trans women with fairly masculine features, and i cannot stress this enough that there is nothing wrong with that, everyone is different, everyone transitions diferently and the end goals for everyone varies wildly.

My issue is that while i love that there is more trans rep in general the fact that most characters ive seen are portreyed in a very masculine way (especially if a character is explicitly stated as being on hrt/medically transitioning for years) it sometimes rough to consume as someone who places a lot of importance on myself passing. When most forms of representation portray who you are as the physical flaws that have tormented you for 20+ years it hurts. I dont want there to be less of these portrayals at all, i just want more rep closer to my experience.

While comics and art i push past because i want to enjoy the stories included, i cant say the same about movies. It irks me how almost anytime i hear about a movie with a predominant/main trans fem character its played by a cis male actor; i get they can do it well, ive heared people complement some performances greatly, but i mean... could they not hire a trans actress? I know theyre around ive seen them on screen, hire them. The disinterest i feel when i see that a famous cis male actor is portraying a trans woman is palpable. Hire more trans actors.

Now im sure theyre are plenty of examples of what im looking for, god i hope so. Hopefully ive just been unlucky in my search.

I would like to add that one of my fave examples of rep i feel resonates with me and the one that came to my head first is Olive from "My Dragon Girlfriend" by Fawndoo on webtoons, i freaking love her. Plz show it some love ❤️

Can we mention and call attention to how their website looks now? They don't seem to check the final work at all. Some items like Gummy Eye, Shell Pot, and Inchsect are larger than the rest of the items, which makes them stick out of the line, which is just ugly.

Also now the images for forest and grassland locations have just a huge weight, which makes the foraging page take an unreasonable amount of time to load. Guys, I just want to make a couple clicks and go about my business again, why should I have to wait for the site to load because your images weigh so much?

And continuing with the artist thing. Items are drawn in different styles and it seems like the current owners don't think about how things end up looking at all. And I just don't understand why? I thought the new owners were more interested in the quality of the species, but it looks like I was wrong.

This all goes to show that the moderation doesn't seem to check at all how certain pages are displayed and working.

the item sizes thing i remember being way more egregious than this (or maybe it has to do with the fact im on mobile), but the funny thing about lorekeeper is that the size of items and awards and stuff is determined by the size of the image. im pretty sure you have to edit the css if you want the site to automatically resize the images.

the heavy images issue is also something ive noticed, they NEED to compress the images for the foraging locations because if it loads like shit now, imagine what itll be like when they all have insanely large image files to boot up when people just wanna do 3 clicks. its incredibly easy to compress images, you can do it right from your browser and usually theres no way to even tell the difference between a compressed image and a non-compressed (at least when its been resized like the foraging locations are). the same issue comes up with the items, inventories take forever to load now and i think the problem is because EVERY NEW ITEM IS ON A 1000x1000 CANVAS. for reference, lorekeeper recommends 100x100 for items. you do NOT need a canvas that big, and it shows they dont really know how to make items.

listen, i dont mean to hate on terra artists or whatever, just gonna point out examples

the problem with using such a big canvas for items is that you create a lot of tiny details that arent needed for an item icon. think of items in video games, you want to make something visually appealing and recognizable with as little detail as possible. the pincher potion, gummy eye, and silk wyrm are good examples of this, limited palettes, strong linework, and enough contrast/strong silhouette to be recognized from far away. i think the fur pop, shell pot, and moonfin are examples of how not to do items. the fur pop is too overly rendered, and the linework is very thin and small within the actual lollipop. the moonfin and shell pot both have small details (ie. the tassel on the moonfin’s arrow + the bits of fur on the shell pot) and the rendering issue from before. reminder that these are eventually going to be used as emojis on the discord, theyll be incredibly hard to read at such a small size plus incredibly unrecognizable to users familiar with the old items. in addition, the shell pot lacks direction in design, it reads more as an item that would grant a tail trait or a mist trait, not shell/exoskeleton. fallen tail, monstera bat, and horseshoe beetle also have these issues, but theyre similar enough to the old items that people will probably still recognize them.

like, look at these iconic items. they are so popular because theyre simple and recognizable from a distance, you can make them as big or as small as you want, you can see it from 10 feet away and still know what it is. THATS good item design.

i think this goes back to “mods hiring their friends,” you just pick people on a personal bias and dont consider the level of skill in making specific items because item design is not the same as making fully finished rendered art. it takes a different eye and you need to think of different principles than you would when making a full piece.

and heres the thing, that doesnt even necessarily mean the art is bad. the fur pop for example, has a very distinct and eye catching style; however, the issue is that theres no uniformity WHATSOEVER. these dont look like theyre all part of the same world, if all the items were done in the same gritty rendered style of the fur pop i would say its a great set, its the fact that you have some items that are incredibly simple, some that are “gritty,” and some that are just silly.

if nothing else, at the very least PLEASE make your canvas smaller and compress your images, youre making the site painful to use (and thats especially an issue when your site has so little functionality anyways)

Many people praised the same god without knowing, having their own interpretations of Lucky. Unfortunately, this also caused misunderstandings, believing that their god was superior when theyre LITERALLY PRAISING THE SAME GUY

Heartbroken by his followers turning against each other, he went down to the mortal realm to try and sort it out, which wasn't allowed and risked the loss of your immortal status

It did not work lawl. Because Qi Shiyi, another immortal, was sent down to correct Lucky's wrongdoings. By that, she was the one to dish out her punishment. I love doomed yuri ❤️

Qi Shiyi and Lucky met on the battlefield. Lucky, knowing what she came here to do, accepted his punishment.

Qi Shiyi was originally going to just bring him back, but Lucky loved his people too much to leave them and asked to be stripped of his immortality instead

At first Edgar did NOT want to take this job, past is past or whatever, and the curator has fired multiple painters before. She was said to be a strict woman, who dedicated her whole life to preserving whatever was left about Lucky.

But the more Edgar read about Lucky the more he became enamored with him

It's silly, to have fallen in love with a myth. But the vision of Lucky that Edgar created in his mind had completely consumed him, and he obsessed over every word, every single detail he could get about the unlucky immortal

The curator of the museum would come visit sometimes to check on his progress, as well as choose which of his paintings would be included.

He wants his painting of Lucky to become his ultimate masterpiece. His magnum opus.

But for some reason, the curator was never satsfied with Edgar's works. Sending back each piece with harsh criticism, and making Edgar fall further down his obsession

He needed more. More about Lucky. The texts the museum supplied him with wasn't enough. So he did his own research

Edgar came up emptyhanded, and went to the curator to see if she had any more about him. She acted defensive for some reason, but eventually, after seeing how dedicated Edgar was, let him see texts that she collected and kept private from the public

For some reason, these texts were a bit too...personal?? There were letters between Lucky and the immortal (at least Edgar assumed it was them) that was with her in her last moments, scripts of characters that were written over and over again, as if the writer couldn't differentiate one from the other

But hey!! Who was Edgar to complain? He ate it all up and used it as inspiration and motivation to finish his piece

When Edgar presented his final canvas to the curator, she went pale before ordering that it would be presented in the museum as the main piece, the rest of Edgar's paintings included as well even though she rejected them before

Finally, Lucky's gallery was open to the public. Many people far and wide came to visit and admire Edgar's paintings.

One of them happened to be a young man named August, or as his friends liked to call him, Lucky.

Honestly didnt care for the art at first until one day you doddled him or his favorite bug or something on a random piece of paper you found and now he adores your art. He doesent show it but he goes over the moon when you ask him what to draw

Hes really edgy about it. Everytime he sees you painting hes just like. "The jet black on the tip of your brush is represents my darkness tainting you, who is the pure white canvas..." or smthn and your just like "actually the background is just black on this one..." please let him be poetic.

Loves seeing the finished product but she loves it more if you show her the ugly stage first so she can see how much changed! She just loves watching your process and how each piece changes over time

Kodai -

She has a few pictures youve drawn hanging in her room but other than that shes not very interested in the actual process. She does like going shopping for supplies with you tho.

The two of you make 3d art pieces together. You paint a painting and she grows mushrooms on the sides of it or on the canvas itself to make it look like pop up art <3

Shiozaki -

"$100 to paint jesus" she loves your art! If you ask her for suggestions theyre all gonna be either religion related or scenery because thats just what she likes the most. Shes also one of your biggest supporters!

Shishida -

He loves your art and he makes sure your at your best when painting! Thirsty? He'll make some tea or get you a glass of water. Hungry? Hes already making a sandwich. If youre about to accidentally drink your paint water he will point it out to you before you can.

Shoda -

Hes not one for art but he likes to help any way he can! If you ran out of a specific color he will go right to the store for you. Hes also getting your favorite drink while hes there just so you dont get thirsty!

Pony -

Theres two wolfs inside of her. One is saying to keep all of your amazing art forever. And the other says to watch people bid for it on e bay (with your permission) and sell it to the highest bid. No matter what she is always supportive of your art!

Tsubaraba -

Hes known to be a bit of a perv so if you do nsfw commissions, his wallet will always be empty.. even if you dont though he adores your art! There is no more room in his room for your works.

Tetsutetsu -

Has probably accidentally messed up some setting paint on a canvas and then grabbed a brush to try and fix it.... only making it worse. Poor dude almost cried when you caught him ngl. His life savings is going towards art supplies as an apology!

Tokage -

You two tag team every painting. Youre coming up with ideas while shes looking for good references. You say youll need some pink in a minute and shes already mixing it. Need paintwater cleaned or a pencil sharpened? Shes already doing it.

Manga -

You know that art challenge where you and a friend switch paintings every 10 minutes until your done painting, he LOVES doing those. He also just enjoys both of you silently drawing in the same room as eachother. The class fridge is full of you twos drawings.

Honenuki -

Anything that has your drawings on it he loves! Once you gave him a sticky note with a quick 15 minute drawing on it and he carries it with him EVERYWHERE! One of the pockets of his hero costume is that sticky notes dedicated pocket! After each drawing he will message your hand to stop any injurys from forming <3

Bondo -

Like Shishida, he just makes sure youre taking care of yourself while drawing or painting. What good is an amazing artist if your sick and cant draw.

Monoma -

"I could totally do that.." then you hand him the brush and suddenly he shuts up. Will talk shit about how easy art would be for him if he tried but he would fight anyone else that said it.

Reiko -

She coaxed you into drawing a creepy ghost once and she used her quirk to make it float and chase people around the dorms in the middle of the night. She now keeps that same painting on her wall <3

Rin -

I really like the idea of using his scales for textures idk why. Like imagine you just drag him away from whatever hes doing, you ask him to cover his arm in scales and you just start painting him yellow. He loves helping tho and if you ran out of room to store things in your room his dorm is always open!

When I was writing this I got a random flash back to me selling nsfw drawings to highschool students when I was in 5th grade. I dont remember what I charged but I ended up with about 2k by the end of the school year. :>

More people need to learn about how to make outfits for good looks. So many people will say "I want to have X's aesthetic" or "I want to dress more like X"

Like, idk how to say this, but a big part of why you dont look as good as a tv character in a similar outfit isnt just "theyre really hot" or "their clothes are tailored to them" but that theres a lot that can be done with layering and color choice most people dont have a good eye for

Most people only wear one or two layers so its what they think of, but most iconic outfits are a good three layers of pairing colors

"Black t-shirt with a canvas or leather jacket" usually is paired with an unbuttoned or mostly buttoned shirt in shows and movies, dresses are usually paired with coats/cardigans/shrugs/shawls etc, skirts that seem puffy and flowy usually have petticoats (yes those arent just a historical fashion thing). If you pair a bright red shirt with a dark coat it wont have the same vibes as the dark red shirt paired with a grey button down and black jacket

Like definitely wear what you want, follow your owj fashion sense, but I think you should still learn how these things work. If you want an aesthetic, its important to know how that aesthetic works and learn to play with it

As much as wear what you like is important, most people dont do it even if they say so. They like an aesthetic, played with it some, but thought it looked bad on them and often just didnt know there was a trick to make it look good

-Experiment with colors that go well together and have similar tones

-Learn how to layer your clothes, even in summer you can layer some cotton stuff and itll sometimes be cooler than just a shirt

-learn to add darts to clothes and tailor it to you

-experiment with small accessories or additions

-if you like an aesthetic with a clear name learn its influences and basis, instead of just going off what you know. Goth has victorian influences and can be helped by some ruffles and lace, punk should look self styilized and assembled and a lot of its aesthetics are based on repairs and adding flashyness to plain clothes, cottagecore is a mixture of 1700s and 1800s influences with a lot of flow and drape
