You rolled your eyes as you saw Arthur's comment on yours, how could he be so childish. Forget it, you reminded yourself, today is for Ollie and Ollie only.

You waited in Ollie's driver room till he was done with the debrief, you'd go out to celebrate with him and his family later. His trainer had given him a pass on the diet, after all, scoring points in F1 was no joke.

You jumped off the chair you were lounging in, ready to hug the man as you heard the door open but to your disappointment, it was only Arthur.

You groaned as you saw the boy and he scowled in return. You never knew how your rivalry began. One moment you were visiting Ollie for the first time at Prema and the next you were in a screaming match with a Monagasuque man with the cutest accent.

"What are you doing?" He asked, rather, demanded.

"Waiting for my friend," you replied with the same annoyance in your voice, "What are you doing here?" you accused, stepping towards him.

He pulled a face, closing the gap, "Here to support my friend, you know cause we can actually stand each other,"

"Hah, sure, at least I'm not jealous of my friends, you know cause they actually make it into f1," you shrugged, knowing it was a low blow.

His face morphed into anger as he pushed closer towards you, "You need to shut up," he spoke in a low voice, you'd be scared of the taller, much stronger boy if you weren't doused in anger yourself.

"Make me then," why did you say that- Oh shit.

Your eyes widened as he kissed you, making both of you stumble back and fall on Ollie's driver room bed. You groaned as your back hit the mattress, the older boy breaking the kiss, looking down at you in concern.

"O-oh, my god! Y/n I'm so sorry, I don't know wh-" he began rambling but you couldn't let him win, could you? So you kissed him back, letting your hands run through his hair.

He led one hand to your waist, letting it fall under your shirt, he hissed at the warmth your skin radiated under his palms.

"Oh my god, OH MY GOD," Someone yelled, making Arthur push off the bed, and fall on the floor.

"Ollie this isn't what it looks like," he explained from the floor making you frown.

Garnold, quite honestly, is just a good 20 years older than his sibling, and WOW an age gap like that can cause issues with understanding each other. Garnold just doesn't understand the kid, and he's busy with his own (his and Clukr's creations) OWAKCX and Dipsy are complicated because. uh. i'll be honest i didn't read until recently that OWAKCX is like that because Raddy hit him with a hammer and went "ah. that man is an addict isn't he." and went with it ^o^ and it causes an odd relationship with family. they're trying their best, though. they still love each other so much. Tunner and Tupper. Well. I don't have them fully fleshed out yet i'll be honest. Tunner is trying his hardest to bond with Tupper, and she would much rather be left alone and talk to her friends. at the point in life where she just hates everybody, and there's not a whole lot Tunner can do about it. Jevin and Biv. well. he never liked his family anyways, and his little sister following him when he ran away is no exception. she loves him. she wants to be just like him. he wants her to leave him alone and stop reminding him that they're "family", or whatever. Black... well. There's a reason HACK can't feel anything toward his older sibling. Black killed him before he had a chance to grow up too much.

As for Gray and Wenda... funnily enough, they're in very similar boats. They love their siblings, they really do!! It just.. would be so much easier if their "siblings" weren't their children, y'know? (just to specify, they are NOT both gray and wendas kids. they were had separately, we just happened to have the same idea for the two of them, lmao)

do you think operator & drifter treat their warframes wildly differently?

somewhat insufficient TLDR: i think the operator and drifter are emotionally attached but in vastly, strikingly different ways, and it manifested very, very differently too.

in operator's case, it isn't that they dont *care*, but they know how durable a warframe is. they know they can take one hell of a hit, and they'll be okay because that warframe takes the brunt of it (albeit with some phantom pain if the damage is bad enough). theyre less comfortable outside the confines of those large, bulky war machines because they know they're ultimately safe. those warframes can take hits. they cannot. the operator knows they were people, but they never met those people before the tragedy. besides... a lot of them really are just empty shells. they're hardly the people they once were, especially since they recreated those warframes from blueprints. don't get me wrong, they do remember the anguish of the originals - they were there, they lived it, and they still have empathy for them... but the operator knows the limits of every warframe like the back of their hand - they can maneuver however they want, they can take hits, they can run into armies and not be too afraid because they (as in the operator and the warframe this time) be fine. even if the warframe is damaged, they can fix the damage, so no harm done.

but drifter on the other hand? at first i think they never really realised the power they had. in their mind they were still them, just running, rolling on the occasion, it took them ages to maneuver those things *properly*, and probably only ever really learned with the operator's guidance. they would not let a warframe take a hit, not because they felt empathy for it (at least not a lot, last i checked you kind of need at least *some* to have effective transference?) but because they were so used to walking around vulnerable. yknow, not inside a killing machine. but what would've really solidified the difference was after they went to 1999. sure, hearing that these things used to be people is one thing, but at the end of the day, to drifter, they're still just machines. drifter never got to experience what the tenno did, they never had to deal with reaching into their freshly scarred minds to ease their anger, sorrow, fear, rein them in like the terrified animals they were turning into and hush their cries with understanding - they only knew the dead inside remnants... but it's an entirely other thing when you go to the past and see the people who were hurt. you meet them and you get to know them, become their best friends - maybe even date one of them - and it hit drifter like a fuckin' freight train. they have this entirely different view on warframes from that cold perspective they had at first. they weren't just war machines. those are people. every time they go into the head of those machines, they're looking through the eyes of *people.* people who had families and desires and hobbies, things they looked forward to, entire futures ahead of them that were snuffed out. people who were scared, people who didn't know what was happening. people who knew what was happening, who lived in fear knowing they weren't able to stop it... people who lived in fear of losing themselves. and i think it hit drifter a lot harder than they'd ever admit.

but thats not to say one of them is more attached than the other - both of them care deeply about their warframes. it's just that, they have different ways of looking at them. after all their experiences were so vastly different, it'd be impossible to look at them the same way.

i was a little... surprised? at the scene where gojo was sealed. and like the whole plan and exposition and everything leading up to it, cause like. stsg are made out to be such an unquestionable Thing that i had almost expected more from the source material- and there was Plenty to work with if you're going the shipping rout dont get me wrong- but... i just. maybe it just feels like a dissatisfying sort of portrayal almost?

because it feels in some ways like such an acknowledgement that people just. dont Get life-changing relationships outside of romance anymore.

i think they were soulmates. i think they were friends. i think they changed each other's lives and were unfathomably, unspeakably precious to each other. i think when they broke they shattered and cracked and the splinters of that ache are still lodged in the soft spaces between their bones. i think it still affects them, because that's the kind of thing you dont just get over.

HER LORE

Her home life is fucked up, she is neglected horribly (when she was younger she didn't eat for three days) her parents are in a broken marriage they don't love each other but keep up appearances (partly bc of wigglys influence due to the deal) so that the town doesn't gossip about their family, wanting to be seen as perfect. Theyre heavy drinkers and Willow would always have to take care of them when she was younger. They also verbally abused willow telling her that she's not good enough and she doesn't deserve anything, just to name a few. They're always constantly pushing her to be the best and constantly chastising her for the smallest things while also constantly neglecting Willow, never paying attention to willows problems and needs.

She's worried that they'll separate (mainly because it would just be easier if they didn't divorce) One day she stumbled upon the black book in the witchwood and accidentally summoned the Lords. She made a deal with them (more specifically wiggly). The deal was that she becomes a devotee to the Lords and in return they make sure that her parents stay together.

She eventually forms a father daughter sort of relationship with Wiggly, as Wiggly wants someone to talk to as his brothers can bore him. It started off as more of him wanting someone to vent and talk about him but as Willow gets more comfortable with him, she starts opening up and they eventually become a father daughter relationship (even though it's not biological). With her calling him dad on occasion when they're alone or if she's really stressed and is distraught.

She doesn't have a lot of friends and she was very alone in her life up until a bit after she summoned the lords. Her friends consist of...

I like that a lot of the tragedy about new fnaf is about how everyone lived, in contrast to the tragedy of old fnaf where everyone died

like gregory vanessa cassie the animatronics everyone had their lives ripped away from them because of the same source, but they didnt end after that.

the animatronics 'lived', but it was in an abandoned falling apart building while they're broken themselves and slowly losing their sanity. gregory survived the mimic and ggy and the streets but he'll never get back those years of childhood he lost or his parents or friends or old life and he has to live with that and the trauma from everything forever

vanessa lost her life and her free will right as she would have been free from her dad for good and was still put down and hated even as her alter ego. she was forced to leave her little support systems and drag other people into the same boat as her and kill people and after she gets freed abruptly she just has to. get back on her feet. and get a job and take care of Gregory and Freddy and somehow keep living a life as normal as anyone else but things are so different and she doesnt get a chance to sit and process everything

cassie doesnt die in the elevator crash and instead goes on to be trapped underground with something getting in her head. she gets taken over all alone by herself thinking that vanny was a friend and getting 'betrayed' again. once again someone's life is ripped away from them as they're forced to serve this virus, and its made a hundred times worse because no matter what it happened to cassie because Gregory wasnt fast enough. and theres so much tragedy in Gregory failing to stop what happened to him from happening to someone else let alone his best friend

and the tragedy that none of them will ever be free despite how they live on unless they kill the mimic and vanny for good, but theyve always just been too scared to do it. "the family missed the greatest opportunity of their lives" "the woman would kill the witch in the morning" they didnt kill them both when they could have and now other people are getting hurt along with themselves having to deal with it again after thinking they were okay.

and theres also tragedy in the glamrocks and how they lived in the pizzaplex. no matter how you view their sentience theyll always be seen as characters and machines and not real people despite how theyre literally alive and living. and alongside that in canon they push the idea of the animatronics not wanting to fit themselves into the character box (freddy) or not feeling like they deserve to be who they're supposed to (roxy) or not even trying to fit the bill because they're so overtaken with anger at it all (monty) or their programming making them crazy and obsessed with their characters gimmick so they're always trapped no matter what (chica). and how fronnie loved eachother but not only would the brand not have allowed it but bonnie gets decommissioned and Fazbear entertainment doesn't see it as worth it to keep him in the character roster so they just. dont. and Freddy has to deal with how unfair that is.

Felix's milkshake (his blood) brings all the vampires to the yard, it's just naturally irresistible and makes them go feral but Vampire Reader fends them all off. They know better than to lay a hand on Felix Catton lest they incur the wrath of his lover.

He proudly wears the bite marks from them like badges of honor.

Okay so I literally am so in love with this AU rn you don't understand I have been working on the world building for the vampires for most of last night (it's not all put together but it's getting there) and this is all VERY TRUE.

Felix also knows that not only is he kind of irresistible to vampires, but he's kind of a cocky mf because he's pretty much resistant to all attempts from other vampires to enthrall him in any way.

For a whole bunch of lore/world building reasons that I can get into if you'd like me to, but won't bore you with here, the reader is naturally a very powerful vampire, and their bloodline/family specialises/has a lot of power in enthralling/magical manipulation. So Felix knows so clearly the feeling of a vampire trying to enthrall him, and therefore is able to VERY easily shrug it off. The problem for other vampires is that most other's best/strongest attempts at magically manipulating him are at the same level as the general aura the reader puts out in their day to day life that draws in everyone around them, without even being conscious of it, without even actively trying. It can also subconsciously intensify with the reader's mood; their excitement can intensify their aura and make the people around them feel a kind of high depending on how strong theyre feeling said emotion; it can be overwhelming and even sickening the first time it's experienced, but can become quite addicting. This aura can also shift and essentially repel everyone around them if they're particularly angry, but that doesn't happen often.

The reader had to actually try to not give off an alluring aura that accidentally draws people in and endears them to everyone they meet. But when they turn on their charm and actively use their power to enthrall someone, there's no human, and even very few other vampires, who can say no to them.

Felix, who is essentially the reader's familiar, though they dispise the term the way he hates them being called a dog in the main fic, is an absolute anomaly of a human to other vampires. Both because of his blood being damn irresistible, and the fact that he's somehow immune to most attempts to be magically coerced in any way. He, of course, is incredibly proud of this fact, and takes great pride in the reader and their abilities when he's allowed to. He's quietly mad their bites heal so quickly. He loves going to vampire friendly night clubs in the city with just the reader, rather than their whole friend group, because he gets to actually indulge you in your vampire side and indulge himself in being Yours in front of an audience. You can be clingy and protective and possessive, and so can he; humans throwing themselves at you, begging to be bitten, but Felix, who's still pretty intimidating as far as humans go when he wants to be, looms over you, hands on you, doesn't even have to say that you're spoken for to get the message across.

There's definitely Vampire based forums on the 2006 version of the internet, and there's also definitely boards dedicated to speculating about the two of you, and your sightings around the UK. (Humans in the know specifically will go out of their way to attend a club they know you're at just to get high off your aura. Felix learns this and doesn't exactly know how to feel about it.)

I'm looking for advice. I'm looking to get a partner pokemon of my own, but the only experience I have is with my family's buneary. I've always loved scolipedes, but I've also heard that pidoves are friendly and intelligent pokemon... do you have tips for either of these, or general advice for a new solo pokemon owner?

i may be a bit biased lol...but pidove make great first pokemon to raise on your own! i recommend getting at least two to start so that they can help keep each other company, because they're social little guys. pidove are kind of well known for not being the brightest...but they have one of the most amazing memories of any pokemon! so they're not gonna be big problem solvers, but simple puzzle toys and memory games are great ways to entertain them. theyre definitely friendly- my pidove love sitting on my head or shoulder!

scolipede's tougher. i don't usually recommend poison types as a first pokemon, and the venipede line is known for its aggression. they need a good bit of space and places where they can root around for food. their venom is also powerful enough to disable a human, so i'd only get one if you're feeling very confident- and certainly don't try to evolve it too fast. a different bug or poison type would really be better for your first mon.

as far as general tips- remember that your vet and the pokemon center are your friends! they're your first and foremost contact for questions and concerns. and also- remember that you're going to make mistakes in your care, and that's okay. raising pokemon is harder than people make it sound sometimes. if someone trustworthy tells you that you need to change something you're doing, it doesn't mean that you're a bad trainer. you're just learning things as you go, and everyone inevitably screws something up. as long as you're doing your best for your pokemon and fixing things that need fixing, you and your pokemon will be okay.

1. how are they doing right now? well timeline wise, currently they are suffering. but right after the end of the fic? doing fantastic. im imagining since its a friday, kris takes another sick day and bojan skips his classes just bc fuck that, and they just went through a lot and finally have each other again and theyre both not willing to let the other out of their sight again for even just a second. kiki has probably noticed kris has not been doing so well lately, so he gladly covers kris' shift. they're gonna just lie in bed a little bit, answer texts from the other guys making sure the others know theyre doing fine, and then they take jans advice and fuck like rabbits.

on saturday they go to band practice together again and maybe just bc kris is a little shit hes gonna go "yeah the song was nice but the guitar could use some improvement" and maybe thats when they start working a third guitar into songs instead of just kris taking over bojans parts? who knows?

2. will they tell kris' parents that theyre fake-dating but together now? i think kris would want to keep that one a secret, mainly bc he knows theyre never gonna let him live it down and maks definitely wont, but he (very begrudgingly) does tell them. and they have a good laugh about it. for all eternity. bc i think miha and chantal are the kind of people who would find that shit hilaaaaaarious and bring it up all the time, they think its very very funny

3. was the first in-relarionship sex good? it was the fucking best. they didnt have to hold back anymore and enough "i love you"s were said to fill a book with it and then some. it was incredible.

4. how long has bojan been in love with kris? god i wish i knew. i just write the guy, i dont know what the fuck is going on inside his head. i think hes had a mild crush on kris for a while, over the last few years, not very deep or meaningful, mostly when kris picked up jan or smthn bojan would go "damn hes handsome" but that was the extent of it - also bc he was still struggling with his sexuality then.

she loves raph, but shes not looking for something serious with him. theyre friends who do stuff to take the edge off. like she WOULD go to the ends of the earth for him, but its not romantic to her. and raph freaking out over stuff confuses her a lot, but she tries to be understanding about it cuz she knows hes been through something. but also the pair of them have conflicting issues. hes got daddy issues, shes got a daddy kink. they butt heads, but they do still like each others company like that.

she really only acts like herself around him, when shes around his family she knows to be polite and stuff cuz she doesnt wanna lose her home away from home. but also shes a bit possessive about him. like thats her person. and in a way, cuz hes a mutant, she gets to keep him to herself. and raph also doesnt want her to interact with his family that much cuz he wants to keep her to himself for his own reasons. so maybe their relationship is a lil toxic, but really they are just best friends. like raph finally started being SLIGHTLY normal because of her, he'd be way fucking worse rn if he never met her. they are each others people, they're just messyyyyyy as hell about it. like kids are.

I immediately thought of james and lily, a few years into their marriage, two kids already and life is peaceful and good but theres just something not right. Neither can really put a finger on what it is. They stop going out on date nights, stop hanging out with friends because both of them are honestly just not feeling it. And when lily starts to wear james' clothes more often its not really anything odd bcs well girls always steal their partners clothes. So james never really thinks of it. Maybe makes an offhand comment once about how they should just swap wardrobes with how lily basically never wears her own clothes anymore. They still dont talk about it, still dont know how to talk about how theres something weird happening between them.

James cant stop thinking of wearing lily's clothes and lily mentioned that maybe short hair would suit her and theyre still not talking about it because it would be weird and unrealistic if BOTH of them were going thru the same thought process at the same time.

Lily talks about it first. They're in bed, its so late that its already morning and the sun is starting to shine into their bedroom, through the quickly pulled over curtains. She's so awkward about it, but James can tell she's thought it for a long time, that she knows what she wants to say, its just the act of saying it thats intimidating.

Lily cries, James cries with her, partially because he hurts that his spouse has felt this way, and partially because a part of him has been too scared to even try and put in words exactly what Lily just stuttered out. When lily asks "Does that make sense?" He wants to scream with joy because that is what he has tried to understand about himself for so long. And he just nods and he kisses lilys face and holds her so close. He mumbles out his own confession into lily's shoulder and worries that he's making this about himself but lily is just so relieved that neither of them are alone in this.

It takes a little while longer as they both decide what way to go about this the best. They worry about harry and his little sibling, worry about their families and their friends. Ultimately they decide that life is too short, that as long and they love each other, as long as they stay a family with their (not so little anymore) babies then everyone else can fuck off.

They hold hands through each appointment, through each assessment and decision and they do each others hrt shots and lily helps james find clothes that suit her and james has an awful taste in clothes but lily still appreciates her input and they choose new names together and their kids are so involved and surprisingly so normal and okay that their mom is now dad and their dad is now mom and there's difficulties, of course there's always difficulties but they hold each other through it and thats all that matters
